Waching daily Jul 2 2018

hey guys I am on my day one of my liquid regimen I'm not gonna call this diet

because it's not a diet I'm trying to shake off the rest of this weight um

because it's starting to get a little bit arm you know past the due date and I

need to detox heal but also get the rest of this weight off so I can feel better

um so I did a juice today cuz like I said today's day one of my juice my

liquid regiment and so what's in this juice here is a 32 ounce of two green

apples a whole cucumber two two-and-a-half handfuls of green grapes

and a whole jalapeno and also a little bit of dandelion greens that I had left

I don't know if the camera is showing you the beautiful color on this bad boy

but it's like a pretty Easter color like a lime green it's really pretty

um and I tried it it's just right it's sweet but not overly sweet and now I'm

in the process of making my broth so I'll have that savory component this

broth should last me a couple of days I brought over here some some oyster

mushrooms I'm gonna cut all this up because I'm not going to use quite all

of these mushrooms here this should last me for a couple of

weeks a couple of pop folds of broth once I cut it up just throw it in the

broth when I have to every couple of days make a new batch of broth I will

just put some of these shiitake mushrooms in there even when I cut them

up they're going in the Cuisinart so I'm going to puree these mushrooms so that

they are like a creamy paste because with the goal is to have a broth not a

stew or a suit this is a liquid regiment that I'm on so these are the

we all choose that I will be using these like what I'm going to be adding to my

bra mom in a few minutes this is one of the brands of bullion cube brands that I

use to make my soups and then this is the big cube here is a Spanish brand

that I buy at the store and question you guys seen this brand as well I also have

over here some red plum tomatoes and some white Val Dalian onions that I've

had in the frigerator for some time getting tongue-tied I'm gonna puree

these too because like I said again the goal is not to make a soup that's

supposed to be to make a broth so it's gonna have a little texture to it but

it's gonna be a water consistency but it's gonna be savory so it's gonna taste

like I had a hearty soup but it's not going to be thick at all it's gonna be

water consistency but it's gonna be very savory um then I also have some sushi

nori wraps here and I'm going to use probably a sheet maybe two there's about

ten calories in these nori wraps one carb I don't count carbs I never have on

any diet that I've ever been on because that's not sustainable counting calories

but for people who do con calories I just want to let you know this will both

side the soup I also have a big humongous thing of spinach fresh spinach

in a bag that literally could take me about a month making bross throughout

the month on this liquid regiment to use up because like I said we're not trying

to make a stew which or a soup we're trying to make a broth with a little

texture to it and that's just to add the savory component so I won't feel like

I'm missing out on food so again yes this is the juice that I have made and

hopefully I will get to the finished product when

it's done okay so what I did here was I pureed the onions tomatoes and garlic

with the oyster mushrooms and made it like a puree a very baby food like puree

you can also see it on the cover of it so this will go inside of my broth so

stay tuned so I can show you okay here is the final product um it looks just

like miso soup looks like the same consistency the nori wraps will dissolve

soon as it hits the digestive tract it's very very little to digest nori wraps

they're very thin sheets of seaweed I will not be making this every day today

it's like a 90 degree day and I'm sweating bullets can't wait to get back

in the shower but it's a lot of steam coming off this soup so I'm trying to

get as close as I can so you can see it has like the same consistency as miso

soup so that will be the broth that I will have at night just a cup of it and

a tea cup when I feel like I need something savory so I'm going to end

this video here cuz I'm getting really hot and I need to get in the shower

Economic Update: Criticizing Capitalism - Duration: 29:36.

Welcome friends to another edition of economic update a weekly program devoted

to the economic dimensions of our lives jobs incomes debts our own and our

children's I'm your host Richard Wolff I've been a professor of economics all

my adult life and I hope that that's prepared me to offer you these economic

updates about what's in the news. I want to begin by a kind of shout out to the

state of Colorado it turns out that Colorado is for worker coops what

Delaware has been for capitalist corporations that is the laws in

Colorado thanks to all kinds of folks in our

state's history are very friendly to the formation and the growth and the

development of the worker coop kind of enterprise and it reason it's

interesting to me has to do with the fact that I recognize that the

Republican and Democratic parties for 250 years have been busy pushing states

around the country and above all Delaware to be especially friendly to

capitalist enterprises you know the kind of enterprises with a few people who are

their shareholders and a tiny number of people they elect to be the board of

directors to run businesses that way those two parties were useful to set up

the laws to make that happen if there were a political party in the

United States committed to worker coops as a better democratic alternative they

would be running around the country doing for the country as a whole

what Colorado has taken the initiative to begin to do I want to recognize what

the Colorado folks did but I also want to make us aware that a political party

is needed to give worker coops a level playing field with what the capitalist

enterprises have gotten done for them for centuries I also want to follow up

in a separate update with the problem of worker suicide

recently there have been several actually six suicides among cab drivers

in the city of New York it has become impossible for them to be cab drivers

the arrival of uber lyft and other services has put an incredible pressure

on workers they don't get the money they once did they have to work unbelievable

hours and here in New York where a taxi medallion the legal right to have a taxi

was very expensive and purchased by cab drivers over recent decades they're now

discovering that those medallions are virtually worthless as uber and lyft

have destroyed their value and they're killing themselves you know it's the

responsibility of a society not to have that happen we don't need to have a

system in which competition among capitalists is something that kills

workers you know we've had that in our history we didn't permit it there was a

time when we allowed mines to be operated in a way that killed miners we

are now allowed all kinds of enterprises to be run in a way that stunted or even

killed small children that were working there and we had movements to protect

miners to make child labor illegal we didn't permit corporations to say oh we

need to compete we need to have cheap child labor or we need to save money I'm

taking care of the miners we can do the same thing to prevent suicide and we

ought to have done it long ago my attention was caught also by France it

turns out in France there are laws that whole top executives accountable if

below them in the corporation suicides are occurring one of the biggest

corporations in France used to be called France télécom it's their basic phone

company it's now called orange like the color telephone company well they're two

top executives are on trial now held to be accountable for the harassment of

workers leading to count them 19 sue besides among those workers in France

you prosecute people who impose suicidal conditions here in the United States you

pretend it doesn't count my hat's off also today to the people of California

petitions were circulated among Californians and over four hundred and

seven thousand of them signed and that was more than enough to get a ballot

question put on the election for this coming November and here's what it says

rents have gone up sky-high in California six of the 11 most rapidly

rising rent areas in America are in that state alone California led by Los

Angeles and particularly the bay area around San Francisco more than half of

the income which is way more than you're supposed to spend for rent is the burden

of 1.7 themm million families in California now of course the housing

industry says if you limit how much we can squeeze out of renters and boy they

have gone up spectacularly in the last few years well then we won't build

houses if we can't make a lot of money off of them that's a threat that's a

threat of one industry against the millions of people who depend on it we

ought to respond to those threats with a counter threat you don't build the

buildings fine the public sector will build and maintain decent quality public

housing and then there won't be the ability for you to raise those rents at

all will there be I want to talk to you about another story that's much in the

news right now President Trump and the Republican Party are busy slapping

tariffs and punishments of all kinds on our trading partners you know it's part

of the assault on foreigners first of all we bash immigrants those

are people who come from a foreign country in two hours and now we're also

gonna bash foreigners who don't trade with us under conditions we would prefer

because they're more profitable to us is this new here's my answer

not at all the last time the United States tried to rearrange world trade to

its own advantage was in the 1980s in those days Americans were reacting much

as they are today to noticing that there were lots of Japanese cars on the road

here in the United States and that Americans were preferring them over

their American competitors you know Toyota's Dotson's and all of that

rather than Ford's Chevy's and all of that mr. Trump's top trade negotiator

negotiator scuse me Robert light Iser was actually involved in the deal that

was made then the United States threatened Japan you have to limit the

number of cars you sell here not by how many Americans want to buy but by a

number will give you you have to agree not to send more cars here otherwise we

will really close this country off to you the Japanese caved they agreed to

the quotas and according to the PRCA excuse me PR no the PRC my apology a

think-tank that's independent the cost to the Americans of having no cheaper

Japanese cars worked out to about $1,200 a car we all paid more because the

American company could charge more since the Japanese couldn't compete because

they had been closed out the cost of a tariff war like the quotas will be

higher prices for all of us to pay and that's something you ought to think

about since you can be sure that the people pushing this leave that part of

the story out

my last two updates are important because they're the kinds of things you

might not think about but you ought to the French government is threatening to

find the American giant corporation General Electric why well it turned out

that in 2014 the General Electric Company petitioned the French government

to be able to buy a very large electric company in France called Alstom and a

deal was arrived at in which the French government then led by a socialist

president said ok you can buy the french company but you have to create 1,000

jobs in exchange for doing that the French government recognized that the

coming together of these two companies would eliminate many jobs but at least

some jobs would be created and General Electric committed to hire one thousand

more people as part of this deal and it was to be done by the year 2018 well

here it is 2018 and the French government says you've hired exactly

three hundred and twenty three of the thousand jobs you promised the penalty

that you signed the contract to commit you to pay it is fifty thousand euros

per job not created that would come 234 million euros for the total jobs you

didn't create for General Electric that's a tiny amount of money

it's like change in your pocket so now there's a problem

General Electric of course doesn't want to pay it hopes that what usually has

happened in the past will happen again namely that no one will really follow up

no one will keep away exact track and even if they do nobody will bother them

about this it will all go away and believe me General Electric is right

to have us that because this kind of thing happens

in the United States literally every day I can't tell you the number of times I

have sat in a public hearing listening to a corporation make wonderful promises

about what its gonna be allowed to do if only it gets this tax break if only it

gets this subsidy if only it gets the road reroute 'add so it's more

convenient for them if only if only if only knowing full well that the

politicians who will say okay then we'll do it because of these good things they

won't be there in the four years when this is supposed to happen they will

have long forgotten it the press will not pay attention it will disappear it's

an empty promise that no one follows up on in France partly because of the power

of the labor movement and the power of socialist communist and other parties

you can't do that the way you do that in this country so the French government

even though the Socialists are gone and a quite right-wing government sits in

power now they have to at least look like they're doing something to keep

track of all of this because it's do too dangerous for them politically to let

this go France is different from the United

States my last update has to do with the Ford Motor Company and the city of

Detroit and the dilapidated broken-down old Michigan central railway station in

the middle of that city the last train to leave that station left in 1988

that's right thirty years of decay of breaking down of broken windows and and

heaves in the floor you get the picture why did that happen because the city of

Detroit was destroyed what do I mean well back in 1988 the population wasn't

that far off of two million the population today is under 700

thousand that's called urban collapse that's when everybody leaves that's when

there are thousands tens of thousands of empty abandoned homes and stores and yes

railway stations and why because three companies for General Motors and

Chrysler decided it was more profitable to produce somewhere else in the

American South where wages were lower in Canada and Mexico where they were still

lower and now in India and China where they are still lower it's all about the

profit for a tiny number of companies that destroyed that city destroyed the

lives of hundreds of thousands of people and destroyed yeah

the Michigan Central Station so imagine how happy I was and how happy Americans

were expected to be when Ford corporation announced it was buying for

next to nothing that building its decisions helped to

destroy to make up a new tech center for themselves we were all supposed to

celebrate the renewal of Detroit and conveniently forget that the renewer was

the destroying monster not that long ago but I don't want anyone to forget well

we've come to the end of the first part of the show before meeting my exciting

guest professor David Harvey that many of you know I want to remind you to

subscribe to our You Tube channel if you possibly can to follow us on Facebook

Twitter and Instagram and to go to our website democracy at work dot info for

more of what we do and how you can get involved as a special thank you to our

patreon community I also want to say really thank you for the support you

provide it is crucial stay tuned we'll be right back

welcome back friends to the second half of economic update it is my pleasure and

indeed an honor for all of us I think to have our guest today professor David

Harvey a foremost Marxist thinker and critic and writer for many decades to be

our guest and to talk with me for the next little while

professor David Harvey is at the Graduate Center of the City University

of New York perhaps best known for how he has been able to teach us a whole

generation of students like myself what Marx's contribution is to understanding

the capitalist system that we depend on and that we live in he has written many

many books and articles and his most recent which I urge you to take a look

at is called Marx capital and the madness of economic reason thank you

very much David if I can call you that yeah joining us okay what is the major

contribution of Marx what why is he the important thinker we should be reading

and whose work we should be using right now if he came up through a critique of

classical political economy with a way of understanding the dynamics of

capitalism that is of understanding how capital accumulates how it circulates

and how it produces crises periodically and I think those insights are still

with us in exactly the same way that Marx saw it back in middle of the 19th

century capital is still with us and capital is still creating crises and

doing all those things that Marx said it was gonna do so that the argument which

I hear so often that capitalism has changed from Marx's time in the middle

of the nineteenth century to today is both obviously true and not really

terribly relevant since the basic dynamic of the system which is what he

tried to figure out absolutely I mean that's that that's why it so I think

relevant today which is not to say that the the details are not very different

because they have certainly changed and we should take those into account and we

also have to remember the marks didn't complete all of his work so we have some

work to do to complete it but nevertheless the basic laws of motion of

capital as he defined them in the middle of the nineteenth century are still with

us and they're still creating mayhem and creating contradictions and creating

havoc wherever we look let me pick up on a couple of things you said and go after

them a bit more instability the the fact that this is an economic system which if

I have the numbers correctly every four to seven years has a downturn and that

these downturns can sometimes be deep and long-lasting like in the 30s and

really like the one after 2008 is this in a sense a sign that this is a

systemic problem and I wanted your reaction to the validity of Marx's

focusing on in instability on this bizarre quality I think one of the

things that separates Marx from most economists is the most economists seem

to like equilibrium and think there's something called equilibrium to which

everything converges somewhere down the line Marx says no it diverges all of the

time so he's looking at it from the other direction and saying it creates

disequilibrium and the disequilibrium are the sorts of things we see in a

crisis in which capital and labor sit side by side and nobody knows how to UM

you know employ them in in productive ways because somehow rather the market

has not cleared and will not clear and so that is there at the mark of a

genuine crisis what about the other critique in a way of capitalism that

besides being unstable it is prone to inequality and indeed extreme in

quality of the sort we see around us today

how does Marxism go after get at this inequality

well Marx did an analysis which relied very much on the idea of perfect

competition and pure competition and what he showed was that under conditions

of pure competition the rich are going to get much richer and the poor are

going to get much poorer now we've had historic periods under capitalism where

there's been some intervention from outside for political reasons and state

reasons so that we actually ended up with less inequality today of course the

neoliberal period since the 1970s everybody's been saying let the market

do the work and everything's going to be ok and of course the rich get richer

hand-over-fist and it's getting even worse by the

minute yeah so that would you agree for example with Thomas Piketty and others

like him that there's some intrinsic logic to capital that produces

inequality unless and until the very reaction to that inequality stops or

reverses it for a while you know there's there's something

inherent within the within the system and our best guess the best way to

summarize it is that in a perfect market situation there is nothing more unequal

than the equal treatment of unequals because everybody says the market is an

egalitarian device and it is but if you start off much better endowed than me

then bit by bit that gap between us goes higher higher and higher and so that is

what Marx showed brilliantly I think in volume one of capital is that is an

inevitable consequence of a free market capitalism so then you know departing a

little bit but let me ask your opinion how is it possible that capitalism has

had defenders past present and likely future who seem either unable or

unwilling to contend with these two central flaws you might say instability

and inequality what's the it how is it possible for a

system with those flaws to present itself almost that's the opposite of

them I think one of the things we should recognize though is that capitalism has

not been all bad it's technologically very dynamic and and it's given us a lot

of possibilities to organize life in a very very different kind of way and

that's one of the big contradictions of the present situation the technologies

around us are fantastic labor saving technologies time-saving technologies

and of course people are fascinated by that and that's I think how a lot of

people have a fetish belief almost in the beauties of a capitalist system

because it does all of those things Marxist point is to say yes it does all

those things but then what does it do it produces homelessness it produces less

and less capacity to educate people it makes students go into debt in order to

get an education does all of these things and and and Marx is therefore

emphasizing the contradictions and I think that the trouble with conventional

thinking is that it emphasizes the positives and it refuses refuses to pay

any attention to the negatives or assumes they're external accidents they

are not integral to the system yes it always bothered me from my earliest

times as a student I used to make this comparison I wonder how you think about

it that capitalism produces the problem of selling all the value that they

that's come out of their assembly lines so they invent something called

advertising to promote the purchase what an advertiser does is try to get you to

part with your money for some object and so the advert the logic of advertising

present all the positives and obliterate all the negatives and this which is a

distortion of human communication for a profitable end then seeps into the rest

of our consciousness so that we begin to think in terms of either/or rather than

the unity of the positive and the negative it's a kind of

capitalism coming back and obstructing its own analytical capabilities through

this advertising imagery yes I don't think it's only advertising though I

think to me one of the things is about capital is the production at once needs

and desires in such a way as to define a whole way of life for example I think of

suburbanization after world war 2 and the creation of the american suburb and

I think of the way in which that was supported by all of these you know

sitcoms I Love Lucy the Brady Bunch all this kind of stuff it was advertising in

a sense not in a crass sense but in a real sense that's a whole whole style of

life and then the whole style of life has political consequences if you are an

affluent person living in the suburb you feel and and and you become a homeowner

you will get concerned about the value of your home and you don't want people

moving in who might depress the value of the home and so you get exclusionary and

you start to get exclusions and segregations and gated communities and

and and and it's a it's a destructive way of life which is actually created

around the organization of wants needs and desires which are not necessarily

the ones we would freely choose but are those which are necessary for the

accumulation of capital to continue. The system is producing us rather than

serving us. it's the almost the the the Frankenstein

monster our creation comes back and dominate us. Right, but at the same time there are

possibilities. We see this in the Internet. I mean the internet came as a

great sort of have a tower of freedom and and and and communication and all

the rest of it and now look what we've got

net neutrality disappears all of a sudden we find we are being surveyed

through Google and everything else so, everything which was just really

positive about the internet suddenly he gets turned by commercialization and

capital accumulation into something that's negative. Yes I remember growing

up with these the inventions all of which were going to be labor saving,

absolutely, and my students today give me descriptions of their 60 and 70 hour

weeks as a kind of mockery on all those claims the same thing in the household.

we have household technologies now which are time saving time saving time saving

time saving and if you ask everybody anybody how do you feel these days do

you have a lot of free time and the answer is known of course one of Marx's

ideas about a really really good socialist society was one which was

characterized by a massive amounts of free time where you could do what the

hell you liked let me ask you a question that jumps forward but I know it's in

the minds of viewers and listeners how do you view this Trump phenomena here in

the United States is this a capitalism in trouble flailing around with an

extreme reaction or is this a capitalism confident in some sense of its

capability and therefore willing to indulge a naughty person in leadership

how do you square your Marxist Analytics with what you see marx has a very good

analytic concept which I like a lot and is not used enough and the concept is

alienation people are alienated in their work for the most part it a lot of work

is meaningless these days people are alienated in their daily lives because

they're dealing with the telephone company and all of these other things

and credit cards and all the rest of it people are alienated politically we have

a mass alienation of populations right now an alienated populations generally

act in ways which are violent and angry or they sulk and I think actually we're

in a political situation where we have mass alienation right now and until we

address the roots of that alienation which are the redefinition of labour

processes by capital accumulation the redefinition of daily life through the

processes of capital accumulation until we deal with all of those kinds of

questions and of course the buying and selling of political power by capital

until we deal with all those questions I think we're not going to go anywhere and

I think I think Trump is the president of alienation

well David as always thank you it's never enough time I want to thank you

for staying with us well my pleasure good and I want to thank you all for

partnering with us by participating in your way in this conversation I hope you

will be willing and able to continue to do that and for me I look forward to

meeting and speaking with you again next week

How Will you Celebrate July 4th? - Duration: 1:54.

It's almost time for our

country's birthday, and isn't it

appropriate that as we reflect

on years gone by

we also look to the future

and to the potential it

brings. I'm Scott Gordon

the founder of Open Mortgage

and I think July 4th is a

great opportunity for both

reflection and relaxation.

The perfect holiday to break up

the summer months. It's a

holiday built for backyard

gatherings where food somehow

tastes better because it's

served on paper plates,

without pretention, in the

company of people we

really care about.

It's a time to enjoy the

moments of an old-fashion

hot dog, and don't worry

about the ingredients,

a cold beverage, and hanging

out with friends.

When we think about our

country's unique history,

we realize we are lucky to

have the freedom to dream

big and reach our goals,

whether it's home ownership

or having our own business,

or living where we want to live.

So between firing up the grill

and stocking up your cooler

this year, I want to leave you

with a little challenge: Ask

yourself what do we owe each

other as Americans, and how

can we be kinder and more

understanding, worthy of

the sacrifices that so many

people fought for in this great

experiment that our country

is that is now 242 years old,

and counting. July 4th is a time

to enjoy what makes America

great; the people and the

spirit of the people.

Bisekura (Rwanda) on sexual and gender based violence in Rwanda - Duration: 7:50.

There a lot of consequences to the victim of gender violence

First, there is trauma resulting from being raped

resulting from that terrible act she experienced

Second, she may be infected with different sexual transmission disease.

Like AIDS and many among others sexually transmissible

Since in most cases raping acts goes without protection

The victim also risks of unplanned pregnancy

And later feels she wants to abort

Or even give birth but without means to raise the

Since she hadn't planned to have a baby

another consequence is that she even risks to be sacked by the family

She might be a young girl or a woman

and when raped

impregnated!

and when the family hears that bad news, decides to sack her

accuisng her of bringing shame to the family

All those are the risks that someone sexually abused can face

But there are many more

And the most tragic is the mental trauma

That mental disorder resulting from being abused, being raped.

It i is something terrifying consequence to the victim

Gender based violence is never supported publicly

Since currently there are laws that condemn it

So no one can dare to support or promote it in public

But still it is supported but not in public.

Just wisely, so close secretly

Where I say that it is supported sometimes, for instance in families

in families, in neighbohood

in villages where we all stay

For instance if a certain woman was abused by the husband,

And she tries to expose the problem ,all her surrounding will tell her to calm down, that it is normal

That it happens in family a man to slap his wife

That it happens in family a woman to be insulted

All that, just to make her understand that it is something that normal happens

And that it would be up to her if she takes her claim to the authority

That if she does so the man risks the prison

That she risks to loose him

With that pressure she would feel that she would be abandoned

In such case, all of this

This campaign of telling the woman not to seek just

For me, these are acts that support or promote gender based violence

But in a very hidden way that any one can easily figure out

Internally in families , this happens

An other kind of this support within amilies

This violence can be promoted in families basing on cultural based mindsets

Whereas it is believed that there some specific duties for boys and other for girls

Or saying that the girl should be taken to that cheap school

And the boy to the most expensive one, since they feel expecting too much from the boy

Just that the girls doesn't belong to them since one day she will be married and be taken to another family

Lets take her to a simple school

It is not in all families

This is not general

But there are still those families that have such believes

And who still act like that

That is gender based act

And if parents do like that, they are also indirectly teaching their children to do so with the next generation

Those children will grow knowing that that is how things should be

If the boy was taken to the best school and the girl to the simple one

The boy will grow believing that girls don't have any value comparing to the the boys,

There, the parents would be promoting gender based violence

What we need to to to end this,

We should first of all respect all the laws condemning violence in general the gender based inpaticular

Those laws are there but are not exercised as it should be

I just gave an example of where a woman get abused and be refused to go to ask for justice

Telling her that it wold be a scandal if she takes the husband to the justice

Up today there are still those boys who sleep with girls or rape young girls and impregnate them

And the girl be advised buy her community that she should not take the boy to the justice

Saying that if the boy is taken to prison and at his release the girl would have problems with the father of her child

So, the problem should be sorted between families

That the guy who raped and impregnated her, should take and marry her

Can u imagine that advice.

The same guy who raped her to take and stay with her just to prevent the shame to the girls's family

Actually that would be abusing her twice

When at home with him, whether she gives birth or not the guy won't stop abusing her

People just need to know and understand that if a crime was committed, should be condemned

Not just saying, that if someone r raped and impregnated a girl the solution is them to get married

Imagine to stay with the one who raped and impregnated her

This is really a serious problem

We need to end this gender based violence starting from the families

The first thing to do, is to teach people

That is what I had not mentioned, just teaching people

Running serious mobilization to teach people

The ministry in charge of family and gender promotion has a lot to do

Starting with the families within the so called village parents evening, people need first to learn

After teaching then comes punishing those who commit this crime. As stipulates the law

I don't advise to start by punishing, rather by teaching

People need to be reeducated what really the gender based violence is about

Since there should even be probably those who commit gander based violence with limited knowledge about it

Then after teaching stage, introduce punishing those involved in all gender based violence related acts

And make sure they are seriously punished

Even men are abused in certain ways

Lets talk of gender equality

Meaning, both men and women should be treated equally in all aspects

Nowadays you will find with some sectors, they say that since women were disadvantaged back in time , now they have be favored against men

That is insane

Since it is a competition

People should compete regardless their sex genders

So that the best passes. Not because it is a man nor a woman

Now days even in job recruitment tests

In some organization when selecting , they would favor a lady.

Yet you had both won with same marks, but chose the lady saying that back in time women were disadvantaged so, it is now their turn

That is a gender based discrimination

An other kind of gender inequality act that the government does unconciently

As long as boys and girls in school level leaving exams don't pass at the same mark. It is a problem

The Location Of Acne On Your Body Has A Secret Meaning You'll Want to Know - Duration: 3:56.

Acne is a common skin condition that affects most people at some point in their lives,

most commonly occurring during adolescence.

During this stage, pimples occur more frequently on your face, back and chest, and are usually

linked to changes in hormonal levels.

But pimples and blackheads aren't always caused by hormones, according to Chinese and Ayurvedic

folk medicine.

According to them, the human body can be zoned, and the appearance of acne is connected to

different causes.

In today's video, we're going to show you what the pimples on each area of your body

might say about you:

Neck and chin Pimples in this area are usually connected

to hormones, but they can also be related to the adrenal glands, whose biggest enemy

is stress.

Dieting can also affect this area, so try to cut down on excessive sugar intake if that

is your problem!

Shoulders Have you noticed that when we are very stressed

our shoulders react?

Stress can also be to blame for the appearance of pimples, so a good way to avoid them is

by practicing a stress-relieving activity, such as yoga.

Chest The pimples that appear on your chest are

usually linked to digestive problems.

Consider improving your diet by avoiding processed foods and following a clean diet and see if

your condition improves.

Another possible cause may be your clothes.

Do you happen to wear clothes that do not "breathe" much like polyester or nylon?

Arms Usually, people confuse arm acne with keratosis

pilaris.

Keratosis pilaris is little "balls" around the hair follicles.

They are small and hard.

If this is what you have, try treating it by applying exfoliants and moisturizers containing

acetylsalicylic acid.

If it doesn't clear up, the cause may be a nutrient absorption deficiency.

Stomach This area doesn't normally produce oiliness,

so acne on the stomach isn't very common.

But if pimples do appear, it may be because you wear very tight clothing or have high

blood sugar levels.

Pubic region Since this area is more humid it's not as

easy to get rid of pimples.

Ingrown hairs, poor personal hygiene or even the presence of STDs can cause acne to develop

in this region.

Upper thighs and legs When pimples appear on your legs, the reason

may be a reaction to certain products, such as bath gels, body lotions, clothes softeners

and dryer sheets.

Just like your pubic region, your legs can also develop acne due to ingrown hairs, which

is very common after shaving or waxing.

Back This is one of the most common areas for pimples

to appear and the causes can be many, such as: allergies, excessive sweating, not bathing

after exercise and even dry skin.

If you can't seem to clear it up, then your diet may be to blame.

Try avoiding processed foods, drinking very cold drinks, and eating spicy foods.

Bottom Just like with most areas of our body, our

diet plays an important role in the appearance of acne on our backside.

Other factors include digestive problems, wearing dirty clothes, or clothes that are

too tight and do not breathe well.

As you may have noticed, in most cases, diet and stress are the biggest enemies for anyone

who is looking to get rid of acne.

Try improving your diet and reducing stress in your life, so your skin will finally be

free of pimples!

Bisekura (Rwanda) on gender equality in Rwanda - Duration: 7:46.

After the exams that would allow them to proceed to the next level

And when selecting for the public scholarship the girls are taken at the lowest marks

saying we have just given favor to the girls since back in time they were refused some rights

This is a other kind of gender based injustice being done maybe unconsciously

Just without deep analysis

What we need to know today, is that all children are equal

If it is competition, they are all equal

Since that it is a competition

If it is about gender equality

If we really mean equality

Girls sit for the same exam as the same for the boys

Then the passing mark should be the same as well

Equal opportunity for all

This will encourage even tho girls to put more efforts in what the do

They will put in more effort

Since they will get to know that they won't be more favor especial for girls

Yet they will pass because of performing better than their fellow brothers

This is another gender based violence

Even though people don't see it the same way

Or just ignore just like that

But that is discrimination

Today, we need to understand that all children both boys and girls are equal

As the are when it is about sharing their family inheritance

In our society, the law stipulates that both the boy and the girl inherit their parents equally

That is how it should also be, what ever the situation

Be it a certain exam

Or certain competition

They should both be treated the same way

And even at the job level

They should be treated the same where they went for application

As people who really competed

Not favoring this or that just for being of a given sex gender

What makes someone to be a man,

When God was creating

He created a man and a woman

And to day, no one chooses to be born a man or a woman

Someone was born with male sex

That is a man

An other was born with female sex

That is a woman

And as they grow

One grows believing to be a man another one to be a woman

That is the first difference between them

And within that growing and the thinking

Knowing that you are a man, and thinking of the man duties

The man must look after the family

Within his responsibilities, he will marry a wife and builtd a house

All of that makes what thinking the man grows with

Such thinking is what makes him growing believing to be a man

and the girl to grow believing to be a woman

But nowadays,

To be a man it is not just to stand and say "I am a man"

"The building is mine"

"Children are mine"

"Every thing in this house is mine"

The real meaning of being a man differs from what most of the people have on properties

Or the household living

I can't support a woman at home to become the man

Since they both have separate responsibilities

We have to know separating this

Even though there would be the equality

But still there are men responsibilities

And women responsibilities

For instance the man would not conceive and beget

And the woman would not impregnate yet she would be impregnated

By raising the babies, the man will complement with the wife

But the man would not breastfeed

He doesn't have that ability

In fact, there are responsibilities for men and responsibilities for the wife

What would in fact be essential for people to leave in harmorny, is to complement each other

Me I prefer to complement

Even those who introduced the gender equality policy didn't really explain it

It should be to complement

It should actually be to complement between the wife and the husband

And the equality between a girl and a boy

And when should come that equality?

It is the equality in front of the authority

Since the law orders them equally

Be it a boy or a girl, they are both equal at the law level

If it is sharing their family inheritance, they are equal

If the parents are about to offer them something,

Access to education

All that the family has to offer to raise them

Whatever the boy is given should be the same as what given to the girl

Actually that is what equality means

To inherit the family, the boy will take the house

So will the girl

The boy will take a certain size of land

So will the girl

That is equality

But when they were introducing this policy, they misguided people

Saying it to be the equality between the wife and the husband

So them, wife and husband

After understanding that they are both equal at home

So some started believing that if they are both equal, then the woman can come home late as does the husband.

"If we are equal, then today is my turn to make the bed, then tomorrow is your turn"

That is quiet different

If the woman made the bed today, tomorrow should be the man 's turn

Just for it to be the the equality

Yet, they should be to complement each other,

and the man can still make the bed if the wife is not around or just busy with other duties.

Or just by helping her

But you can't say for it to be the equality

The man will clean the dishes

The man should cook since it is equality

Let there be to complement each other

And if the man does those works, it is just to complement with his partner

It is important that people are treated equally

It is essential that boys and girls be treated equally as the law stipulates

But the equality between the wife and husband within their living is impossible

And will never be possible

Since God created a man and woman separately

He didn't create them to be equal

He first created one and then nother

Each one was given a different sex gender

So, that mindset of gender equality , is actuality the source of those men trying to act as women and women like men

A woman just believing that one day she will marry a girl

and start acting like a man

You will find her wearing men clothes

Actually there should be to complement

But for equality, people should go back and rethink about

What I would do for the victim of sexual abuse

The first would be consoling them

Just to be by their side to comfort them

If someone was raped, the first thing to is to be by their side

Showing her that they are not alone

Telling her that what happened is not the end the life

That is first

Second one, would be to advise them how they are going to manage it

Lets say, she was raped and starts thinking that they might have infected her with aids

Thinking that she might have been impregnated

Desperate, probably at the extent of thinking to commit suicide

By consoling her, it would help at stopping those negative thinking

Of thinking that this would be the end of her life

Right?

For the abuser

Since the are laws condemning this crime

To be arrested and introduced to the justice

And be prosecuted

But I can't advise the citizen to arrest the abuser and start punishing him. Not, rather take him the the authority

BAE Systems Austin: We Want You - Duration: 1:50.

This is a great city to live and work. It's a technological city. An enormous amount of

activity that happens here and then the entertainment scene is just

absolutely outrageous. The thing that Texas has that really

attracts people: they're a very progressive government that's leaning forward trying

to get businesses to come. And then they have industry that just follows that.

Because Austin is such a hot spot, BAE has an opportunity to capitalize on the

popularity that Austin has as a whole and position itself as an adjacent to

the Oracles and Googles, Apples, Facebooks that are prevalent. The

uniqueness of the city of Austin and the mix of people that are coming to Austin

that create for a really diverse workforce that allows us to have

different mindsets. If someone was interested in BAE, I would tell them

definitely do it! So if you have ideas, we want to hear them. We want you to be part

of that team and to help us. We're a very close-knit group of people and everyone

is just very interlinked/connected together. Anybody has an individual

problem you can go to the person next to you and they're gonna make sure you're successful. Our

BAE culture, but also the city's culture, is really conducive to finding more of

this kind of creative energy and tapping into that.

We're witnessing unparalleled growth across Electronic Systems. We've got so

much work that there's just more work coming in the pipelines

it's a really really fun time period right now. We're looking to double the

amount of people on campus here over the next year and possibly double it again

from there in the next three years. We were thinking big. We were acting big.

That's what I think is in the realm of possibilities here at the Austin

Business Center.

6049-C Setup and Use - Duration: 11:56.

Hi, I'm Kurt Lammon with Polyvance.

Thank you for your purchase of the 6049-C Nitro Fuzer Lite nitrogen plastic welder.

This is a fully capable nitrogen welder for the budget-minded shop.

In order for us to reduce the cost of the welder, we packed it and shipped it in

two boxes, so there will be some assembly required.

The welder itself comes in this box.

Let's take a look at what we get here.

Inside the box you'll see the welder itself, which is fully assembled and ready to go.

We're going to install the welder onto the cart.

This will be the part that we need to assemble.

And inside this box you'll also find your nitrogen bottle regulator,

the airless plastic element - airless plastic welder that goes into the front of the welder,

power cord,

the tips for the airless plastic welder,

and a full selection of plastic welding rod - we have 13 different types of plastic welding rods

that comes with the kit.

The next step will be to assemble the welding cart.

Okay, now let's take a look inside the box that contains the welder cart.

And inside this cart you'll find all of the components necessary to build the cart.

I'm not going to unload all of this right now, but I did want to show you that there is a complete

instruction booklet that shows you exactly how to assemble the cart step-by-step.

And it will be helpful to have some tools, for example, a seven-sixteenth inch wrench

with a speed driver and a Phillips head screw driver for sure.

But the assembly of the cart should take about half an hour.

Alright, now that we have the cart box unpacked, you'll see that we have a total of 18 different components,

including a bag of your nuts and bolts and a bag for the bottle chains.

We have the power strip, the air manifold, and all the sheet metal parts,

which are all made in USA - very high-quality stuff.

We're gonna follow the instructions on building this cart using the nuts and bolts provided.

The only thing that's tricky is that you want to make sure that you put the legs on the proper side.

They look very similar or identical, but they are mirror images.

You can see these two holes are flipped, so you want to make sure that these holes point

toward the front of the cart when you assemble it.

Now that we've finished assembly of the cart, it's time to install the welder onto the cart.

And that is done by putting the welder up and we'll use these two sheet metal screws to secure

the welder to the cart.

So we want to put the cart on up on the shelf, put the sheet metal screw through,

and then you kind of line it up on the bottom, screw it in by hand loosely until we get everything lined up.

Put the second screw in, make sure they line up with the hole in the bottom of the welder.

There we go!

And just kind of get everything lined up so it's not in a bind, then we'll use speed driver with a five-sixteenths.

Okay, now that the welder is secure, it's time to hook up the plumbing to the welder.

First we want to connect the air - the compressed air - this is the manifold for the compressed air

and the fitting here where you need to connect this green tube from the fitting

to the back of the welder to the air input.

So we just insert that one end into the air input, run it through the hole

in the bottom of the shelf, and then we're going to connect it to the air fitting on the back.

The final plumbing task will be to install the nitrogen bottle regulator to the nitrogen connection

on the back of the welder.

So we'll run the green tubing up through the hole in the back here,

up through the hole in the shelf, and then we will, again, insert it into the quick disconnect fitting

on the back of the welder.

Finally, now that the plumbing is connected, we need to establish the electrical connection

between the welder and the power strip, and you'll just insert the

end of the power cord into the back of the welder, the other end in the power strip, and we're done.

The final step will be to install the airless heating element.

This is great for smoothing your nitrogen plastic welds, and it's also essential

for repairing the urethane plastics - the old, yellow type bumpers - you'll use the urethane

welding rod with an airless welder to repair that, not the nitrogen welder.

The airless welder comes with two welding tips: the flat tip with a point on the end,

and also the one with the hole that feeds through - it looks like a little foot.

We'll put this one in the toolbox back here, and we'll thread on the flat pointed tip;

this will be the one you'll use to smooth your nitrogen plastic welds.

Screw that in there.

We'll put this into the holster over here and plug this into the front of the welder.

Now we're ready to use the plastic welder.

The next step will be to install your shop's quick disconnect plug into the air manifold on front.

Next, put a nitrogen bottle in the cradle on back and secure it with the included chains.

The 125 cubic foot bottle, which is about three and a half feet tall,

is a good compromise between size and ease of handling.

Next, install the included nitrogen bottle regulator.

Do not use any thread tape on the threads.

This seals on the conical face of the tip, not on the threads.

Tighten the locknut securely.

Back to the front of the welder, if you want to install a whip hose for your air tools,

then remove the plug in front of the air manifold and install your hose.

Polyvance sells a whip hose, part number 6040,

which includes an inline air blower at the tool end for convenience.

When you're ready to start your welder, chuck up your shop's compressed air supply.

Inlet pressure can range anywhere from 50 to 125 psi.

Be sure to use clean, dry compressed air.

If any oil or water gets into the inner workings of your nitrogen welder,

it will damage the heating element and other components.

Such damage would not be covered by warranty.

Always establish your air and nitrogen flow before turning on the power to your plastic welder.

Although the welder does have a pressure safety switch, it's always good practice to get airflow

through the welder before you turn on the heat.

Note the manual valve for switching between air and nitrogen.

With the red handle pointed to the air side, turn the flow valve until you have about

12 and a half liters per minute of flow indicated by the flow meter.

This is a good level for the air side.

You shouldn't have to adjust the air because you won't be using air to weld,

rather it just keeps the heating element at a steady temperature.

Now that you have the air side set up, it's time to set up the nitrogen side.

Switch the valve to nitrogen.

You'll see the ball in the flow meter drop to zero.

First we have to open the bottle valve to get some nitrogen inlet pressure to the welder.

Before you crack the bottle valve, loosen the T-handle on the pressure regulator

to prevent any pressure spike from damaging the regulator.

Open the bottle valve.

You can see this bottle has about 900 psi remaining in it.

Now turn the T-handle in to establish about 30 psi of nitrogen pressure to the welder.

With the red valve pointing to the nitrogen side, open the flow valve and float the silver

ball about halfway between 10 and 15 liters per minute.

This is a good flow rate for your average bumper cover.

If you are welding a very thin area, you can reduce the flow to about 10 liters per minute.

If you are welding something thicker, like a heavy truck sidepanel,

increase the flow to about 15 liters per minute.

With Polyvance's nitrogen welder, you get full control of the welding process.

Before we turn the power on, let's make sure we have flow on both the air and nitrogen sides.

We can feel the flow coming from the tip, and verify using the flow meter

that there's about twelve and a half liters of flow on both the air and nitrogen sides.

Plug in your power cord,

make sure your power strip is on by looking at the lighted red switch on the power strip,

and make sure your welder is plugged into the power strip.

Turn the power on to the welder with this switch on the back of the welder.

Note that the green "pressure safe" switch is glowing because we have sufficient airflow through the welder.

Adjust the temperature of the nitrogen side to match the plastic you're working with

and the nitrogen flow you plan to use.

For polypropylene welding with the standard flow setting of twelve and a half liters per minute,

we will set the temperature at about six and a half.

You will be able to feel the air start getting hotter immediately.

Allow about five minutes for the element to warm up completely before use.

Turn on the airless plastic welder to help smooth out your plastic welds.

Set the temperature at the "PP" setting on the dial.

It will take about five minutes for the airless welder to get up to the proper temperature.

While your welder is warming up, select the welding rod you want to use for the job.

Select the rod to match the plastic you will be welding.

The kit comes with thirteen types and profiles of welding rod.

Since polypropylene is the most common type of plastic you'll be working with,

the kit comes with six different profiles of polypropylene, five of which are in the organizer case.

After you finish welding and are ready to shut off the welder, turn off the power first

and let the air continue to run for about five minutes to cool down the heating element.

This will help to prolong the life of your heating element.

Also, shut the valve for the nitrogen bottle to prevent any leakage.

For some quick training on how to use the welder,

scan the QR codes on the Training Videos info sheet with your smart phone.

This will take you to a three minute video on how to do the basic repair methods shown.

The 6049-C does NOT come with free courtesy training, but Polyvance offers several paid training options.

Helping Women Entrepreneurs Crush It – Lucy Cantley Interview on Geeks R Sexy - Duration: 9:59.

Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to Geeks R Sexy! I'm Jason LeDuc, your host on

the fourth Friday of every month talking about business and how to be successful

with your business here in Las Vegas. It is hot here this week! It is very hot

today, it's not the hottest day of the year, that was yesterday. But we're going to

leave that behind. We've got some great guests for you today to hopefully let

you cool down, sit in the pool, have an ice cream and enjoy talking to our

guests today. We have Shaytoya Stresing from K&B Communications and we're going

to talk to Michelle Davis, who you know from watching this show on other weeks,

and we'll be talking about one of her new ventures and kind of work through

some of the concepts of starting a new business, starting a new venture on the

show. But first I have my good friend Lucy Cantley with me. We were in the MBA

program at UNLV together. You're a relatively new mom you've got a

one-year-old and you have started, if that weren't enough, she started a new

business where she's helping women entrepreneurs develop the revenue

streams and develop those strategies to really be successful and grow their

businesses to new heights. So welcome Lucy, thanks for being here!

Thanks! well tell us about who you are tell us about how you came from

Cambridge, England, because that's where you grew up right? Tell us about how you

made it all the way from Cambridge, England to beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. So,

born and raised in Cambridge, England and um I met my husband he's actually Air

Force and he was stationed in England and so I took the leap and decided that

I was going move to the US and we were in Panama City Florida for a bit. I

dabbled in corporate, never quite sort of found my footing got very frustrated

with poor management and just it was a lot of that yes why I started my

business so and so we moved to Las Vegas. And I decided after another kind of just

a corporate job that I wanted to go back to school and get my MBA and through

that I sort of immersed myself in this entrepreneurial community, connected with

a lot of investors and sort of started working with tech startups and then

realized that actually that was a very high-stress area. And I like to have a

bit more control and influence over what I'm able to do to move them as

forward and when you're talking about tech startups like there's a lot of

other factors at play and you can be great at what you do and still fail

miserably. Yeah, tech startups are a whole different world. It's a whole

different kind of leadership, and you've got investors and you've got a lot of

you got a lot of chefs stirring the pot when you're doing a tech startup and

sometimes that's great it provides great guidance, great disruption

and forces great ideas to come together and then sometimes it's

not so great. It depends on the team involved like most businesses do.

So tell us what kind of businesses do you get excited about? What kind of

entrepreneurs do you get excited about working with? What's that mix of the team

you like to work with or what's that mix of the team you like to build

around you? So and when I finished my MBA I was pregnant and I immersed myself in

this community of online entrepreneurs especially women entrepreneurs who were

moms and I was really inspired by this group and decided that this was a niche

that I wanted to work with. I felt like I could be totally supported in my journey

of becoming a mom as well as being able to help these women with the skills that

I had. So I really like to work with women who have an online presence who

have an existing revenue stream. So for example, I've got a coach, a lawyer, I've

got somebody else, well at like various different types of coaches, mindset coach,

business coach, physical trainer, but they've got this existing revenue stream

and then they've reached this point where they're tired of trading time for

money. And so they want to ad passive income and the best way to do

that is by adding courses, programs, a group element, a membership site, and so I

helped them tackle that because that can be a really overwhelming and really

stressful project when they just want to be doing the thing that they're good at.

So what you're looking to do is help them monetize their knowledge, monetize

their knowledge and experience put that out there so they can have a passive

income stream that comes from that while still doing the things where they

can get excited about everyday. Mostly they're just serving more people. They're

able to take their skills and they're just the secret sauce and spread it more

people. Absolutely! So there are a lot of business coaches out there and they

aren't doing exactly what you're doing but there's a lot of people out there

and I know you're kind of going through, not a rebranding, but a refining of your

brand. Tell us about what your strategy is. What are you branding yourself as?

What do you, what do you want the world to know about you and your brand and

what you bring to the community? Yeah so I tell people that I do something a

little bit different. I kind of describe myself as a strategist and a project

manager. I've used the title business sidekick. Which I loved but you're

getting rid of it so... I'm dropping it just because I want people to be really

clear on what I do. I think that it's a really like I still love the foundation

of business sidekick and ultimately I'm coming in as like the director of

operations but that's not a term that is really familiar with my niche, so I came

up with business sidekick because they're the hero and I'm joining their

team absolutely and then I'm supporting them and lifting them up and helping

them kick ass. Absolutely and and not all consultants view their role as

lifting someone up. They kind of view their role as you listen to me and we'll

see how far I can take you right? One of the reasons why I'm not just a

consultant or a coach I'm an implementer I I like to jump in and get things done

and see results and I like to be especially invested in that so when

people work with me they're not just getting advice they're getting someone

on their team team who's actually doing the work with them. I think that's so

important because I work with my clients at a very similar capacity and we work

really hard on who do you want to bring on your team when we get to that point,

it's very much let's make sure there's that values match, like let's make sure

there's that personality match, so you're bringing someone on your team and what

you're offering someone is hey Here I am! I'm not here to be your partner I'm here

to be on your team. Yeah! And that's such a unique way to bring this kind of

business acumen, the knowledge and experience you have to help out these

female entrepreneurs or who are moms just like you it's great because they

there's not a lot of that around! So now speaking of business acumen and

experience, what most of your clients may or may not

know about you and certainly the community-at-large doesn't know is you

were one of the directors of Rebel Venture Fund. We were both part of a

student investment group, angel investing group, at UNLV where the students looked at

the deals and made the decisions on what companies we invested in. You were one of

the directors. Yeah! Tell us what you learned as an investor that helps you as

a businesswoman and helps you help your clients. So I just learned so much about

how to really analyze business. I'm able to come in to my clients business and

the first thing that I do with all of my clients is a strategy session and we'll

audit their business and figure out what's working and what's not working

and that is very much a skill that I picked up through Rebel

Venture Funds. For sure. And I it's allowed me to have a unique perspective

that the clients that I have are not used to having or seeing their business.

They are so deep into what they're doing that they they need that outside

perspective, so that's one factor. The other thing is that I feel like a lot of

business owners don't always think of themselves as investors, but they are. They're owners!

They've invested time and money in their business. 100 percent of the equity,

100 percent of the risk as a business owner right? So I think sometimes you do

have to put on your investor hat and view things from an objective standpoint

well we have a couple of guests joining us in the Facebook live. My friend my

good friend Margaret from Colorado is here and my good friend Lisa who I had

coffee with the other day and then Glen thank you for joining us as well. If you

guys have any questions for Lucy, we've got a little bit of time. Feel free to

type them into the window and we'll get them asked. But, so you talked about

putting that investor hat on. Yeah. Using that, do you see a common theme

across some of these businesses that your investor hat tells you? I know when I

look at businesses I see a couple things, but I wonder if you see common themes? Oh

you know sometimes I think that the most common thing for my clients, everyone's

multi passionate and they just want to do so many different things and so I

come in and I'm able to say to do this successfully you need to pick one thing

and do it really really well. One core competency. Yeah if you're doing too many

things, too many, wearing too many hats, it's just creating

a lot of stress and it can create misalignment and burnout and your

audience can get confused and so I feel like if I sat listening to a company

pitch back in that that room we used to use for the Rebel Venture Fund and they

were telling me that they're gonna do this and this. I'm

going to think, whoa this sounds like they're not clear on what they want.

They're all over the place and they're not going to get my money. And so I take

that standpoint and sort of use that Core Competencies are very important,

so all your business owners out there or prospective business owners. One thing!

Think about one thing! We've got about 30 seconds left, tell everybody where they

can reach you. Sure so my website is lucycantley.com It's under a bit of a

Polyvance's 6049-C Nitro Fuzer Lite - Duration: 3:40.

Are you ready to repair more plastics but have been holding off due to the relatively

high price tag of the equipment?

Wait no longer...the fully-capable 6049-C Nitro Fuzer Lite from Polyvance

is available for the budget-minded body shop.

The Nitro Fuzer Lite has all the product functions and supplies to start making you more profit

on plastic repairs right out of the box.

With the Nitro Fuzer Lite, you'll be able to repair bumper covers, headlight tabs, overflow bottles,

fender liners, underhood and interior plastics, all with great strength and cost effectiveness.

The Nitro Fuzer Lite is low priced, but it's fully capable.

It has variable temperature control, precision flow valves to adjust nitrogen flow,

an analog flow meter for precise flow measurement,

a low pressure safety cutoff to prevent damage to your heating element,

plus an integral airless heating element to smooth welds

and allow repairs to thermoset polyurethane plastics.

Polyvance's welders include the widest selection of plastic welding rods

that allow you to repair virtually any plastic on the vehicle.

Unlike some competitive products, the Nitro Fuzer Lite features precision flow control.

Flow control allows you to match the flow and temperature to the plastic type and thickness.

The flow and temperature can be reduced to avoid distorting very thin areas,

and likewise can be increased on thicker plastics to speed the welding process.

Without flow control, you'll limit the types of repairs that you can do.

The analog flow gauge gives you the visual reference for repeatable weld quality no matter how thick the plastic.

Most importantly, the Nitro Fuzer Lite is from Polyvance,

the originator of nitrogen plastic welding technology since 2006.

The Nitro Fuzer Lite is designed and built in the USA by a company that's been devoted

exclusively to plastic repair products since 1981.

With Polyvance, plastic repair is not an afterthought or a sideline...it's all we do,

and if you buy our products, you will have access to the industry-leading technical support, training,

and knowhow that Polyvance has to offer.

In order to keep the price as low as possible, we simplified the control system,

so there is a manual valve to select between air and nitrogen.

To minimize shipping costs, you'll have to assemble the heavy-duty welding cart yourself.

Free courtesy training for the welder is not available with the Nitro Fuzer Lite.

However, Polyvance's paid training is available and is recommended in order for you to get

the most out of your new nitrogen plastic welder.

If you're interested in a welder that comes fully assembled with automatic air-nitrogen switching

and free courtesy training, consider our industry-leading 6085-C and 6080-CG nitrogen welders.

But if you are looking to get into plastic repair with a fully-capable,

budget-priced machine from the industry's leader, look no further than Polyvance.

With a suggested retail price of $1,995, The Nitro Fuzer Lite is our most accessible nitrogen plastic welder.

Ask your local paint jobber or equipment distributor for more information.

What is a fixed-rate savings account? - Duration: 0:47.

Fixed-rate savings accounts mean your money is locked away for a set amount of time.

Usually you can't make any withdrawals in this period

but this is in exchange for a higher interest rate.

Now, as a general rule of thumb, the longer you lock your money away for

the better the interest rate you will get.

When it comes to interest this is usually paid monthly, annually or at the end of your deal.

As always, basic-rate taxpayers can earn up to £1,000 in interest tax-free per year,

and if you are a higher-rate taxpayer, this is £500.

Now, UK-regulated bank accounts protect your money up to a set limit

via the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Bill Clinton's Latest Scandal Involves Another Woman And You'll Never Guess Who It Is - Duration: 10:22.

Bill Clinton's Latest Scandal Involves Another Woman And You'll Never Guess Who It Is

Bill Clinton is in trouble again.

Of course it involves another woman.

And you'll never guess who it is.

Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky are back in the news.

Lewinsky claims her invitation to an event about social change that was hosted by a magazine

was rescinded when it was learned that Bill Clinton would be attending.

USA Today reports:

"MONICA LEWINSKY SAID WEDNESDAY THAT HER INVITATION TO AN EVENT ABOUT "SOCIAL CHANGE"

WAS RESCINDED WHEN FORMER PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON DECIDED TO ATTEND THE SAME AFFAIR.

LEWINSKY DIDN'T NAME THE ORGANIZATION, BUT SHE SAID SHE WAS OFFERED AN ARTICLE IN A MAGAZINE

AFTER HER INVITATION WAS WITHDRAWN.

"PLEASE DON'T INVITE ME TO AN EVENT (ESP ONE ABOUT SOCIAL CHANGE) AND — THEN AFTER

I'VE ACCEPTED — UNINVITE ME BECAUSE BILL CLINTON THEN DECIDED TO ATTEND/WAS INVITED,"

LEWINSKY TWEETED.

"IT'S 2018.

EMILY POST WOULD DEF NOT APPROVE."

"P.S. … AND DEFINITELY, PLEASE DON'T TRY TO AMELIORATE THE SITUATION BY INSULTING

ME WITH AN OFFER OF AN ARTICLE IN YOUR MAG," SHE ADDED.

HUFFPOST REPORTED THAT TOWN & COUNTRY WAS THE MAGAZINE IN QUESTION AND IT HAD PULLED

LEWINSKY'S INVITE TO ITS ANNUAL PHILANTHROPY SUMMIT AT HEARST TOWER IN NEW YORK CITY ON

WEDNESDAY."

This magazine – allegedly Town and Country – tried to avoid creating scandal and embarrassment

for Bill Clinton by revoking Monica Lewinsky's invitation to their event.

Instead they created an even bigger headache for Clinton.
