hey guys welcome to Protein Treats by Nutracellel I'm Melanie Wildman and I've
lost over a hundred pounds and I've been able to keep it off after I had my
surgery with these amazing recipes that will help you feel super full and they
will help improve your gut flora so that you're actually absorbing
the nutrients from your food that you need so let's get started today with my
hack for easy yummy super delicious skillet pancakes now I don't know about
you guys but sometimes in the morning when I'm making my kids pancakes it
takes forever when you're standing there and you're having to wait for one side
to cook and then flip them and then flip another pancake in another pancake when
all I really want to do is just get everything cooked and get everybody out
the door so this is the easiest way to make pancakes for everybody you can come
down in the morning throw all your ingredients together put them in your
skillet put it in the oven for 20 minutes and boom you have skillet
pancakes so let's show you just how easy and quick this is to put together you
are going to need about a cup of milk make sure it doesn't have any added
sugar in it and if you're gonna use cow's milk you really want to check
because it has about 8 to 12 grams of sugar in a cup of milk so that's why I
use a coconut milk or I will use a soy milk we can't have almonds in our house
but if you can you could even have almond milk so just make sure no sugar
and then I've got 1/3 of a cup of coconut flour here super high in fiber
and 20% of it is actually protein so it's really really good for you I've
also got a quarter cup of coconut oil and that is so good for you it helps
burn body fat and it actually helps you to feel fall and then I have some really
yummy PEI blueberries here and try and get if you can get blueberries that are
organic or local that's always better but blueberries are so good for you full
of antioxidants and full of vitamin C and I also have 4 whole eggs and a
little bit of baking powder and baking soda to make them fluffy and of course
our vanilla neutrally is what makes a makes everything taste
so yummy and is packed full of a hundred percent whey proteins and prebiotic
fiber and that's really what you need to repair the damage done by the kind of
foods that we eat here in North America so this is so easy you're just gonna
start by taking your dry ingredients and putting those in so I've got my coconut
flour and I'm gonna put in my three scoops of vanilla new Trillian here we
go and then I'm also going to add in my baking soda and my baking powder just
like that and I'm gonna give that a quick stir
alright now that I've given that a quick stir I'm gonna go ahead and crack all of
my eggs in here now I guess if you wanted you could beat your eggs a little
bit first but really they're pancakes so you don't need to and then we're gonna
add in our milk and like I said make sure that you check that sugar so you're
not adding any extra sugar and last but not least I'm going to put my coconut
oil and so now that I have most of my ingredients here I'm gonna give it a
quick stir break up my egg yolks you don't want to over stir it so you only
want to stir it enough that you've broken up most of the clumps and it
looks pretty even all the way through but not perfect and once you have it
pretty much mixed all the way through that's when you're gonna add your
blueberries in so we're just gonna go ahead put all our blueberries together
and I've got my oven preheating at 350 degrees so once my batter is completely
mixed and all my blueberries are here I'm just gonna go ahead and put them
into a skillet now make sure that you're using a wrought iron skillet that you've
well oiled or you're gonna put it into a pan that is oven safe so I'm gonna go
ahead and pour my batter in and look at that that's all you need to
do we have our skillet fall now I'm not standing over it flipping pancakes I can
just go ahead put it in the oven and come back in about 20 minutes
and this is gonna be ready for breakfast okay so our pancakes have been cooking
for about 30 minutes I'm gonna pull them out of the oven and show you just how
yummy and delicious and super easy these were to make and here we go look at this
doesn't this look so delicious it smells amazing in here
and this is the perfect way to start off your morning with your kids you can just
put everything into one bowl and then go ahead throw it in your skillet put it in
the oven and you've got an amazing breakfast ready so I'm gonna go ahead
normally I would let this cool a little bit but let's show you just how easy and
yummy this was to make so I'm going to cut a little piece here and let it lift
right out
look at that so yummy and so delicious and so ridiculously easy to make you
guys are gonna love this now I'm gonna go ahead and have a bite
it's really super hot you guys mmm so good light fluffy mmm yummy full of
protein full of fiber this will keep you full all day if you want more delicious
