Ready for a super quick and easy crafts?

Well, today we're making these awesome marbled cups!

A little side note : these cups are for decorative purposes only.

They are not microwave, dishwasher or food safe. So we wouldn't recommend drinking your coffee in them ;)

Don't forget to Like, Comment and Subscribe to our channel for more awesome DIYs

Welcome to Mommy&PrincessesCrafts!

To make these cute cups, you will need :

a plain cup,

nail polishes in different colors,

A container large enough to put your cup in,

and warm water.

Optionally, you can use a paper towel to dry your cup on,

and a toothpick to mix the nail polish.

Pour the warm water into a large container.

We tried this with hot water and it didn't work out,

So we would suggest warm water instead.

Add the nail polish little by little into the container.

This is a good way to use up old nail polishes around your house.

If the nail polishes are too thick, thin them out using acetone or nail polish remover

Otherwise they'll sink to the bottom rather than float on top of the water.

Slowly immerse the cup in the water and

move it around so that the color gets all over it.

Since we didn't add enough nail polish to cover the entire cup,

We added more color and re dipped the cup until we got the desired effect.

Don't worry about the large container with the nail-polish and water.

You can either hand wash it with a good scrubber, or put it in the dishwasher

and the nail polish will come right off.

Plus it's only in that polish if you don't want to

wash it you can also use nail polish remover to clean it.

After dipping it 3 times this is what our mug looks like.

And it took us less than five minutes to make.

You can use it as a vaze and put flowers in it

you could put pencils markers and other art supplies into it

or you could use it for whatever else you'd like

Thanks for watching,

We hope you enjoyed this video

bye

How to clean your brushes with the Effervescent Brush Cleaner - Duration: 0:51.

SARAH: Because you're supposed to use one packet per gallon and I'm only using a half a gallon

of water here, I'm only going to use half the packet.

So you start, you tear the packet open and then you pour in the amount you're going to

use based on the water and you can see it start effervescing right away.

That's how you know it's working.

I set the brush in, move it around to really let it get up in between all the bristles.

And then you set it and 8 minutes later, you have clean brushes.

How To Interview Someone - Making a Podcast - Duration: 8:02.

One of my favorite things about my podcast is the way I get to interview

inspiring people about their amazing stories.

Today at Live On Purpose TV,

how to interview someone for your podcast.

Podcasting is something that I love to do. I've been doing it since 2007.

My podcast, Live On Purpose Radio, has been really my professional hobby. I decided

to do something right up front that has made all the difference for me.

Now there's different formats for different podcasts. For me, interviews.

Interviews have been the sweet spot. Having an interview format for my podcast has

given me an opportunity to not only give my listeners a chance to hear a voice

other than my own but it's given me the amazing opportunity of interacting with

phenomenal amazing brilliant people all over the world. In fact, I got to show you

my bookshelf. This bookshelf is filled with books that have been written by the

guests of my show, there is not a book on my shelf that wasn't written by a guest

from my show. I had to clear out all the other books just to make room for these

amazing guests. I think of this as my human treasury, if you like that idea.

I can call these people, I can text these people, I can reach out to them for

various things they, have become part of my human treasury and I'm so grateful

for that. So I thought I'd take a few minutes on this video today to give a

few tips or things that I've learned about how to interview someone for a

podcast. I think the first step there is to be clear about your purpose.

My podcast is called Live On Purpose Radio. The purpose of the podcast is to

illuminate principles that allow people to do just what the show suggests,

to live on purpose instead of letting life push them around so I'm looking for

guests on my who understand that and who have a story

or a life experience that has taught them very powerfully how to live on

purpose. So as I get clear about my own purpose for the podcast, I can share that

with guests or potential guests and we can find out pretty quickly whether

they're a good fit. So you want to make sure that that fit of purpose is in

place right up front. You know, here's something that I've talked about many

times before. It's not about you, it's about your audience. So keeping in mind

the needs of your audience will help you to have conversations in the interview

with your guests, that will bring out the principles or the ideas that will be

most valuable to your audience. Think about who your audience is as you're

holding this interview. You might want to check in with who they are in the sense

of what kind of presentation is going to be most valuable to them. One of the

obvious examples that I'm thinking of has to do with humor, people are either

thrilled and delighted or offended by humor and it's because of the words that

are chosen, it's because of the topics that are chosen, it's because of the good

style of delivery and not every style is appropriate for every audience. I want

every one of my podcasts to be something that my kids could listen to, that I'm

going to feel good about having my parents tune into, that is important to consider

when you're putting together this interview and in selecting your guests

and that brings up my next point, know your guests. Know your guests. Many of the

people on my show, I've already met or had interactions with in some way.

There are a lot of people now that reach out to me because of the popularity of the

show, they'll reach out to me asking, "Can I be on your show? Would you highlight my

book? Would you tell my story?" And I'm happy to consider that. When I say know

your guests, have ways of understanding where they're coming from, what their

motivation is, do a little bit of homework, make sure you've read their

book, if they've written a book and you're going to mention it on your show.

I read every book of the authors who are on my show, it helps that I went through

a speed reading course years ago and I can get through that content fairly

quickly but I want to have enough knowledge of where they're coming from

and what their ideas are that I can be conversant with them, that I can have an

intelligent conversation with them, that's important to me and I think it's

important to my listeners. As you get to know your guests, consider this and I

think this is one of the things that I get feedback about this, I have

people tell me "Oh dr. Paul you're such a good interviewer. You're so good at this."

Why? Because I make them feel so comfortable. When they're interviewing

with me, it's simply a conversation and I know enough about them and about their

topic that I can lead that conversation to something that my audience will

appreciate and everybody's having fun. I feel like if we're not having fun, we're

doing it wrong. So you want to have a comfortable

conversational approach with your interviewees, it puts them at ease and

then my goal, what I'm thinking in my mind during the interview, how do I

elevate my guest to a position of - I don't know if I want to say celebrity, I

guess I just did. - I want to elevate them to a position of

celebrity at least in terms of this podcast in this episode, where they are

the most important, most brilliant, most wonderful person on the earth. This helps

them to feel good but it also endorses them in the eyes of my my listeners and

my subscribers. So making them the hero, you know what there's kind of an

interesting paradox here because the more you shift your focus as a host,

where as an interviewer, the more you shift your focus to the

person that you're interviewing and you make them the hero, the more heroic you

become in the eyes and minds and ears of your audience. That's something that can

make you a hero. Like I said at the beginning of this particular video,

there's a lot of different formats that a podcast could take. I have chosen an

interview format because of the richness that I think that that adds and the

depth and the variety and the new voices that my audience get to hear and the

human treasury that it builds for me. There may be other ways that you want to

run your podcast, if you want to do interviews, remember it's not about you,

it's about your audience and it's about your guests and as you elevate your

guest to a hero status with your audience, both your guests and your

audience will love you for that and you're going to have some fantastic

interviews.

Interviewing people, it's a great way to create content for your

podcast. If you know someone who you would like to feature at Live On Purpose Radio,

Making Sales Without Being Salesy - Duration: 4:57.

hello and if you're ready to make a thousand bucks in a weekend you are in

the right place my friend we are in step number six my name is Renee Hribar and I

have 20 years of sales experience that I'm bringing to you in easy to digest

pieces so that you can make a thousand bucks in a weekend here is step number

six we've gone through all the other steps we only have two more to go today

we're gonna talk about exactly what to do

once you have them starting a private conversation with you once you're using

that 1+1 formula and they've answered you back now I want you to invite them

to something totally free totally valuable and I'm gonna encourage you to

be live to have it at least be a video because video my friend converts I

cannot tell you how many times people have come to me and my clients and said

remember when you told me dot dot dot you never talked to them before how

could you have told them anything it's because they were watching your videos

or because they showed up and saw a live stream of yours that you did you know on

YouTube live or Facebook live or Instagram live it is amazing what we

have in our pocket we have a whole full broadcast studio in our pocket on our

phone every day use it when you show up to do that

anchor content that free valuable thing that you're inviting them to now in step

number six you don't have to do a 45 minute masterclass or webinar this is

five six minutes max or you are going to give the top two reasons to the ten

reasons that you gave in your blog post or the three most common mistakes that

you see when people create their LinkedIn page because you're a LinkedIn

specialist for example so this is where you invite them for free to something

that is totally valuable to them they don't have to

you their email they don't have to give you money they don't have to give you

anything they just have to show up and that's it it makes it so easy for them

right why would you want to do this well you're already doing your anchor content

every single week so this is the natural next step it's a natural cycle so that

you could literally do this thousand bucks in a weekend step-by-step process

every single week now as you're doing this process you are validating ideas

you are getting the words that work you are finding out who your paying

customers are and what they are praying someone will offer them so that they can

buy it to solve their problems right you most likely can solve lots of problems

but you've got to figure out which problem people are willing to pay you to

solve first so that you can take them on a ladder of offers but this is where it

starts this is the the fine-tuned pieces that so many people miss so when you're

in messenger and you've used that 1+1 formula I want you to invite them just

like this say hey when we first met we were talking about this I'm actually

running a free live stream on it in an hour do you want the link to join that's

it it's a two sentence message or two sentence email whether it's a DM and

Instagram or a Facebook message that's it or hey I'm doing this amazing live

stream on the top three mistakes people make when they do XYZ the thing that you

connected about in the first place do you want the link to join now here's

what happens it makes it easy for them to join they're like well what's the

catch wow this is interesting they just have to show up yeah

so how will you know if they have or not well it's very easy to track all that

the point is is you're moving the conversation along there's still one

more step to do and that's where the money comes in this is where the

thousand bucks in a weekend come in but right here the

critical piece so many people miss I have worked with one-on-one clients that

have just breezed right on past this and wondered why it didn't work and then

when we analyze their details we realized this was one of the pieces they

missed don't miss this my friend so this is

inviting them she's something completely free and valuable would they they don't

have to do anything to do it they just have to receive it and when they do they

say you as an expert in the field they connect to you they relate with you and

they fall in love with you I'll see you in the next video for step number seven

This Is Why You Should Never Eat Food Flies Land On - Disgusting Science Facts - Duration: 2:43.

According to a new study, flys care far more diseases than previously thought, which means

that you should never eat anything that a fly has landed on because they could be contributing

to disease outbreaks.

More on this today on IO.

Welcome back to inform overload, I'm charlotte dobre.

Don't forget to like and subscribe and click the bell to join the notification squad.

Akright so, I gotta admit, its gonna be really hard to avoid eating food flies have landed

on.

I mean…have you ever been to an outdoor picnic?

They land on absolutely everything.

But according to a team of researchers at Pennsylvania state university, Singapore's

nanyang technological university, and the federal university of rio di janiero, the

legs of flies are actually infested with bacteria that they pick up when flies land on faeces

and dead carcasses.

Flies feed their young with poop and dead animals.

And when a fly lands on your food, it immediately transfers all that gross bacteria to it, contributing

to the spread of dangerous microbes.

It could even be true that bacteria use the legs and wings of flies in order to spread

and grow on new surfaces, much in the same way that bees carry pollen from one flower

to another.

It was always kind of assumed that flies could carry diseases, but its clear now that they

are far more dangerous than previously thought.

Professor Donald Bryant of pen state said that his team believes that flies are contributing

to the rapid transmission of pathogens in outbreak sitations, and public health officials

have overlooked it until now.

The study looked at 116 houseflies and blowflies, and it found that many of them carried hundreds

of different types of bacteria that are harmful to humans.

Some diseases that they carry include, salmonella, e coli, as well as bacteria that can lead

to stomach ulcersa and fatal sepsis.

So does this mean you shouldn't have any more picnics?

Well, urban flies carry more diseases than rural flies, so if you can avoid city parks

when you picnic, that's probably wise.

And definitely don't eat food that you have left outside for any given time.

Alrighty friends, its time to respond to some comments.

Albanian Boy – Charlotte would you rather be the smartest woman in theworld or the richest

woman in the world.

– I would say smartest, because if you were the smartest woman in the world you could

YOU ARE A SOVEREIGN BEING – TIME TO START ACTING LIKE IT - Duration: 9:49.

YOU ARE A SOVEREIGN BEING TIME TO START ACTING LIKE IT

BY Jeff Street,

There is a growing awareness and indignation about the injustice and inequality running

rampant in our world, and growing interest in creating the better world that we all know

can exist.

One of the key changes that needs to happen to enable the transformation of our humanity

is to reclaim our personal power to think for ourselves, to discern truth from disinformation,

and to stand firm for what we know is right.

The Source that created us endowed us with free-will and the power to create with our

thoughts, words, and deeds.

Yet many of us are squandering these endowments, squandering them so badly that the probable

future of humanity is not looking very bright.

Humanity is at a critical junction in its history one road leads to a very bleak

future, and the other has the potential to be a new golden age.

The outcome depends on us, each one of us, starting right now and it starts by freeing

your mind!

The key to reclaiming our freedom and creating a better world is for each of us to reclaim

our sovereignty.

What is Sovereignty?

The word Sovereign refers to the power or right that a nation/state or individual

has to determine its own destiny to not be controlled by others.

The ability to determine ones own destiny has been termed SELF-DETERMINATION and it

is one aspect of the timeless ideal called FREEDOM.

Self-determination and freedom are said to be intrinsic rights bestowed on us by Source/God.

The American founding fathers firmly thought so and called these inalienable rights.

Personal sovereignty refers to the intrinsic right of an INDIVIDUAL to self-determination.

But having the right of sovereignty is not the same as BEING sovereign.

One must assert a right through ones thoughts and actions, or the right is essentially lost.

Ultimately your sovereignty has to be demonstrated.

The classic saying Freedom is not free echoes this idea rights must be claimed

by the constant application of attention, thought, and engagement.

An important part of being truly free is the responsibility to be highly discerning about

the ideas, beliefs, and attitudes that we choose to accept from society.

In fact, we must be independent minded and confident enough to form our own ideas, beliefs,

and attitudes despite the pressure that society puts on us to conform.

We must not just blindly accept everything our government, religions, teachers, and so-called

experts want us to believe.

Doing so gives away our power and allows the powers that be to create a world that

serves their agenda a world that might not be in our best interest.

Why Personal Sovereignty is Important

If we dont start forming our own beliefs, trusting our inner knowledge, and standing

for what we know in our hearts is right, the future of our world will be defined and created

by a very few with a very self-serving agenda.

In this world that worships the almighty dollar commercial interests are steering the ship.

We have allowed them to hijack our government, our religions, our media, and our beliefs

and attitudes materialism, consumerism, separatism, and fear serve their interests.

Giving Away Our Power

But the powers that be only steer the ship because weve bought into all the beliefs

and attitudes and have let ourselves become apathetic and disengaged.

So lets not point fingers and blame those that we perceive are manipulating us.

Realize the we are ALLOWING ourselves to be manipulated, allowing ourselves to be taken

to a future not of our design.

We are fully responsible for everything about our lives including what we let happen to

us, and we are letting a lot happen to us.

Dont fall into the victim mentality trap and get caught up in the blame and complain

game that only gives away your power.

Far too many of us are just are letting our beliefs and values be determined by others.

Far too many of us are just going along with what we are told, following what our government,

church, teachers, or idols have told us to believe, or do, or be, explicitly or implicitly.

Far too many of us are deferring to the opinions and ideas of the AUTHORITIES.

This gives away our power and allows others to control us.

And often times the authorities, or those that control/influence them, have hidden

agendas that are not in our best interest.

Mass beliefs in the power of outside authorities are firmly entrenched in your psyche raising

many questions about the truth of who you are and why you place your trust outside yourself.

BARBARA MARCINIAK, PATH OF EMPOWERMENT To reclaim our power we need to start forming

OUR OWN beliefs, trust our inner truth, and do what WE KNOW is right, not what others

tell us, or society expects.

We need to engage our hearts and minds and stand firm in what we know is true and right.

If we dont do this soon, we might find ourselves living in a dystopian future like

the ones explored in numerous fiction novels.

The Erosion of Freedom in The Age of Distraction, Obsession, and Fear

In this era dominated by consumerism, materialism, and the pursuit of the almighty dollar many

of us are so busy and distracted by chasing the money, and the possessions, and the thrills

that we are failing to see that we are gradually giving away more and more of our power and

freedom.

This slow erosion is going on all around us, subtly and not so subtly, on many levels.

Our obsession with the accumulation of possessions materialism and consumerism keeps

us distracted from what really matters.

Our fixation on all the dangerous, bad, fearful things happening in the world keeps us distracted

from whats important.

All the wars including the war on terrorism and the war on drugs keep us mesmerized

in fear.

Your power ends where your fear begins. Barbara Marciniak, Path of Empowerment

And who does this all serve?

It serves shadowy commercial and political interests and the military-industrial complex

and keeps them in the power and in the money.

For them its all about the money, nothing else seems to matter, no higher purpose than

to serve themselves.

And they are masters of manipulation and are capitalizing on our weaknesses and our fears.

Isnt it obvious?

Havent we had enough of this?

Reclaiming Our Power

Its our divine right and responsibility to own our beliefs, ideas, principles, and

values.

Its time we reclaim our confidence in our inner knowledge and have the courage to stand

for truth and justice despite what our institutions, the media, and others may be telling us.

We need to stop blaming the system and wake-up from our laziness, distractions, and dependencies

to reclaim our power so we can create a better world!

Its time to remember who you really are, not who others or society says you are or

can be.

It is time to stand in your own personal truths, not what others have told you is true.

It is time to form your own beliefs, rather than just adopt what others believe.

It is time to stand for what you know in your heart is right, rather than what society tells

you is right, even if it means standing alone.

You are a slice of the powerful infinite being that we call the Universe, the source of All

That Is.

Stand in that power confidently!

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF and STOP being a FOLLOWER!

You dont need teachers, experts, professors, gurus, priests, pastors, church leaders, or

heroes/idols to tell you what to believe, or what the truth is, or to show you how to

connect with God.

You dont need THEIR beliefs, ideologies, or specific practices that they swear are

the one and only way to reach the truth.

It is all within you, all the knowledge of the universe is deep within you.

You are connected to all of it, to Source or God or whatever you choose to call it,

just go within and become quiet and trust what you find, what you feel, what you know.

A bright future for humanity is still very much possible, but were going to have wake

up out of our haze of consumption, distraction, laziness, apathy, and fear and start paying

attention and getting engaged.

Even thou all our experiences expand Sources understanding of itself and the nature of

its existence and, therefore, are all valuable, surely weve had enough of the many less

than desirable themes repeating in our experiences.

Surely weve had enough of wage and debt slavery, of going to a job every day that

we hate or bores us to tears, of all the competition and conflict, of all the pain and suffering

 have we not?

I think it is safe to say that our Source would encourage us choose a higher and grander

vision of what we could be.

I think its safe to say that our Source would prefer the experience of joy, abundance,

and freedom for all.

Lets make it happen!

Medicare Explained 2018 - Duration: 31:34.

Medicare explained, Medicare made easy, Medicare made clear,

no matter how we word it in the title of all of these videos that you're watching

understanding Medicare is not always easy. I know that. I hope to solve that with this video. In this video

I'm going to help you learn about Medicare explained in an easy to follow format.

Medicare will be made clear to you. You'll understand how Medicare Works.

You'll understand about Medicare Part A and about Medicare Part B

and the choices that you have to make a once you've signed up for Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B.

Once you have signed up for Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B you'll have to make one of three choices.

We're gonna go over each of those choices. The pros and cons of each so that you can make

an informed decision once you sign up for Medicare. Stay tuned.

Medicare Explained by MedigapSeminars.org' an independent Medicare insurance broker licensed in 47-states.

Hi, I am Matthew Claassen with MedigapSeminars.org. I don't intend for this to be a long and boring video.

Medicare explained properly can make understanding Medicare easy, and can be done

in under 30 minutes. That's my goal for this video!

Once you understand the basics of Medicare Part A & Medicare Part B you will be faced with making one of three choices with your Medicare

This can be one of the most important decisions that you make in Medicare.

It will set you on a course that will impact the quality of the Medical Care that you get

and it could potentially be irreversible.

To keep this video brief I have done a separate video on how, when and where to sign up for Medicare. If you haven't signed up of for

Medicare yet and you would like to learn that first, I've linked it in the upper right of this video. There is a white circle with an "i"

You can click on that and go to the How To Sign-Up for Medicare video.

I will also have that linked at the very end of this video in the last 30-seconds when we link some videos on the screen for you.

First up in this Medicare Explained video is terminology.

Often when people start to learn about Medicare they trip up on the terminology.

Often it is common insurance terminology. So we're gonna cover this first, very briefly.

The first terms that you should be familiar with are Deductible, Copay, and Coinsurance.

The deductible is the amount of money you have to pay first, before your insurance pays a benefit.

A copay is a portion of the bill that you pay after you pay the deductible.

You'll pay the Copay upfront, often when you have the service itself. And the copay is always in a dollar amount.

For example; if you pay $20 every time you see a doctor, that's a copay.

Coinsurance is like a copay except it refers to a percentage. It is a percentage of the bill that you, the consumer, have to pay.

So, putting all this together; if you have a $200 deductible, a $20 copay and 20% coinsurance, it means that you're going to pay the first

$200 in services, that is your deductible.

If you are seeing a doctor and there is a $20 copay, you pay that $20 during the office visit.

If you have a 20% coinsurance it means that when you receive the bill, after you've paid the deductible and the copay

You're gonna pay 20% of the remaining Bill. It's very common for people to confuse a

deductible and a premium. The premium is also an important turn to understand.

With your Medicare Part B, we'll get into the moment, you have a premium. A premium is a monthly fee, your monthly cost to purchase the

insurance. A deductible as something that is paid when you use the insurance. The premium is what you pay to have the insurance.

It's important to understand this terminology, but don't get lost in the details of co pays and deductibles and co insurance

As I mentioned earlier, and we are going to get into detail here in just a bit, you're gonna have to make one of three choices. In two of the

three choices the deductibles, copay and coinsurance that you have in your Medicare & You guide book are rendered moot.

In two of those three choices, you do not need to understand those specific co pays and deductibles. So don't get lost in them.

Understand the big picture as we're gonna present here.

With terminology out of the way, next in this Medicare explained video is Medicare Part A & Medicare Part B.

Medicare Part A is that portion of your Health Insurance that covers you when you're in inpatient.

As soon as you are registered as and an inpatient and a hospital, or nursing facility, or a hospice

Medicare Part A takes over. Think of Medicare Part A is inpatient services insurance.

Whenever you're in inpatient hospital, nursing facility or in a hospice that's your Medicare Part A . Also the one exception

is if you're physically not able to get to a hospital or medical facility Medicare Part A also covers In-Home Health Care.

For most of us, we have paid for our Medicare Part A with a payroll tax. That's the 1.45% payroll tax that comes out of your paycheck

every paycheck when you're working. That covers Medicare Part A. As long as you have paid that tax, or I should say as long as

you or your spouse have paid that that tax for least 10 years, then Medicare Part A has no additional cost for you.

If neither you nor your spouse paid that tax for 10-years, Then you can still get Medicare Part A, but it will cost you a monthly premium.

So, for most of us Medicare Part A is already paid for.

Lets talk about Medicare Part B next in this Medicare Explained video.

Medicare Part B is your outpatient and Physician Services insurance.

if you're not an inpatient, obviously you;re an outpatient and that is your Medicare Part B Health Insurance coverage.

So Medicare Part B is the insurance you use when you see a doctor. When you have a lab test or wellness services. Medicare Part B

is that part of your Health Care insurance that people use most often. It's whenever you see a doctor outside a hospital in

even many of the hospital services and surgeries are now done on an outpatient basis, which would then mean they're covered under

Medicare Part B. Everyone has to pay for Medicare Part B. You have to pay a premium for it.

And everyone needs Part B unless you already have or are continuing with employer Health Insurance coverage and

your employer has 20 or more employees. Absent that, you will need Medicare Part B

and you're going to need to pay for it. How much you pay for your Medicare Part B

depends on your adjusted gross income as of two years ago, and going to depend on when you start your Medicare Part B as well.

in 2018, if your adjusted gross income two years ago was $85,000 or less filed individually, or $170,000 or less if you file jointly,

then you're Medicare Part B premium was $134 a month.

If your income was higher, your payments towards Medicare Part B are also going to be higher.

To find out exactly what is going to be for you in the year they are watching this video

simply go to Medicare.gov, the Medicare web site, and the search bar type in the "cost of Medicare Part B"

and that will tell you what you're gonna pay for your Medicare Part B. It's also called an income adjustment.

and just as an FYI, the same income adjustment that you have, if you are eligible for for your Medicare Part B

will also impact your prescription drug costs, your Medicare Part D prescription drug premium.

In my previous video on How To Sign-Up for Medicare I also cover how and when you can qualify for delaying your Medicare Part B.

Please see that video How To Sign-up for Medicare for those details.

So to recap; Medicare Part A is your inpatient hospital coverage. It's going to cover you if you're admitted as an inpatient in a hospital,

in a nursing facility, or in a hospice, or if you can't make it to one of those facilities and you need in Home Healthcare

Medicare Part A covers that. Medicare Part B is outpatient services and Physician Services.

That's the part of Medicare that you're gonna use most often

and it covers you when you see the doctor, it covers you for your lab tests and all the other outpatient services.

Together Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B are called Original Medicare. It's an important term that should understand.

We'll refer to it several times during this video. Original Medicare is Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B combined.

That's the pillar or the foundation of Medicare.

Your Original Medicare, Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B, is good in any state, in any territory, anywhere in the country.

You can see any doctor, you can go to any medical facility as long as they accept Medicare.

You don't have to ask permission to see a specialist. You have control over your Health Care

and you have freedom. That's if you have Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B.

Both Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B have co pays and deductibles. In addition to that, Medicare Part B also has coinsurance.

It has a 20% co insurance. That means that after you've paid the

deductible and after your co pays you still have to pay 20% of whatever the remaining portion of the bill is.

Rather than go through all the details of deductibles and copays, understand the bigger picture here that you're

going to have to make one of three choices. Now and two of those three choices you're not

going to have to know the specific co pays and deductibles in your Medicare & You guide book.

But no matter what choice you make, you will have to still pay for your Medicare Part B. Your Medicare Part B premium

will be there for you no matter what choice you make. Next in this Medicare Explained video are your choices. What are your three choices?

The first choice; do nothing. Just have your Medicare Part A and your Medicare Part B.

This is the only choice that you make that it's going to be important to understand all the details on those co pays and deductibles.

You're going to find when you look into them that there is no maximum annual out of pocket limit.

you are at substantial financial risk if you get ill.

Original Medicare, Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B alone was never meant to be your entire insurance.

Still it's a choice some people make and it's a choice you can make if you wish.

Your next choice, choice number two is to trade in your Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B for a Medicare Advantage Plan.

Medicare Advantage Plan's most people know as the HMOs and PPOs of Medicare. They are also called Medicare Part C.

Medicare Part C, aka a Medicare Advantage Plan

replaces Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. You're replacing the co pays and the deductibles of Medicare Part A and B with the

copays and the deductibles of a private, for-profit insurance company.

With Medicare Part C, a Medicare Advantage plan, you still have co pays, you still have deductibles, you still have coinsurance.

It is just not the same co pays, co insurance that you have with Original Medicare. It's not less either.

It's just not the same. So instead of understanding the co pays and deductibles in your Medicare & You guidebook, you need to

understand those that are provided to you by the insurance company that you choose to work with.

I have an entire video on the details Medicare Advantage plans, but here are some of the pros and cons that you should consider.

First Medicare Advantage plans are NOT enhanced Medicare. In fact by rules or regulations a Medicare Advantage Plan is

designed to be actuarially equivalent to just having Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B.

What's that mean; actuarially equivalent?

It means that with all the people on the plan, half the people on the plan are going to pay

less for their Health Care than if they had just Medicare A & B.

Half of the people are gonna pay more for their Health Care than if they had just Medicare A & B.

Your experience is gonna be different from one person to another, and it's gonna depend entirely on your health needs.

Now on the positive side is many of these Medicare Advantage plans have a zero premium.

Matter of fact, in the southern half of the state's there often sold as a zero premium Medicare.

That's a little bit deceptive.

The truth is you're not paying any different if you have a zero premium plan than if you have original Medicare and

you're getting an actuarial equivalent.

So,it's not that you're getting enhanced coverage, and they all throw in something like dental or vision.

Be very careful with that. Often these are extremely limited dental or vision care that you could replace with $10.00 a month elsewhere.

Be very careful it's not enhanced Medicare coverage. So what's going on? What is this Medicare Advantage all about?

I mention with original Medicare that you have complete freedom and control you can see any

doctor, anywhere in the country. You can decide who you want to treat you.

With Medicare Advantage plans you're giving up that freedom and you're giving up that control for a maximum annual out of pocket limit

Original Medicare has no maximum out of pocket. You can be completely exposed financially.

A Medicare Advantage Plan sets a limit.

It might be a high limit. But it sets a limit on how much money

you are exposed to on an annual basis. So that's the tradeoff. You have to weigh for yourself whether or not it's worth it for you.

But you should also consider all three of your choices before you make that decision. Medicare Advantage plans will often also

include a bundled prescription drug plan. A bundled Part D plan. That could be a good thing if you have no or very few prescription

drugs that you're taking because it might save you that $20 premium that you would have to pay for prescription drug plan.

However, if you have a lot of prescription drug plans available, that is really what you want to look at because you could end up paying more

for your prescription drugs with the Medicare Advantage Plan than if you're able to shop for your own prescription drug plan as I show in

my other videos. Now this is very important; you're not allowed to have your own stand-alone prescription drug plan

when you have a Medicare Advantage HMO or PPO.

That's very important. If you were to go and get a standalone prescription drug plan

Medicare will actually cancel your HMO or PPO, cancel your Medicare Advantage Plan.

You cannot have both. You have to take the prescription drug plan that's bundled with your Medicare Advantage Plan.

It's also important to understand that Medicare Advantage Plan are local coverage. It's a trade off of choices. With Original Medicare

if there's a specialist you wanna go see in Texas and you're in New York, you can do that.

When you have a Medicare Advantage Plan you can't. You have a a local network that you typically have to stay within; local coverage.

If you a Snowbird and you live in two different or three different states, that should rule out a Medicare Advantage Plan as it is.

Or if you're an RV'er and you like to travel, that too should rule out a Medicare Advantage Plan. If you have a Medicare Advantage HMO

or PPO you're going to have a network, a select group of doctors that you are supposed to see. If you have an HMO

you can go out of that network without paying 100% of the medical cost yourself.

Other than an emergency, with an HMO outside of the networks, it's on you.

With a PPO you can still see other doctors in Medicare, other doctors that accept Medicare anywhere in the country.

But, it is gonna cost you more. In some cases that cost can be prohibitive. Lastly, Medicare Advantage plans change every year.

Anything about these plants can change. Your doctor may not be on it next year. Your hospitals can change. The copays and

deductibles the Part D drug coverage;

every feature of a Medicare Advantage Plan can change each and every year.

That's why there is the Annual Election Period. Some people call it open enrollment. It's technically an Annual Election Period.

That's from October 15 through December 7 of each year.

During that time, you can look at the plans that are available to you as they are for the year ahead and select

which one you want. You can keep the plan you have or you can select a new one.

Those are your options

Just remember, you have to do that each and every year because

the plans will change each and every year. And you should notice as your shopping through Medicare Advantage plans that

Medicare gives them a star rating from a low of one to a high of five.

That star rating is important. It shows you how old they have been rated by other users.

Other people in Medicare, how they've been rated on how the insurance plan treats you.

So that's very important and we're gonna get more into that the second. But when you're in evaluating

Medicare Advantage plans, that star rating is an important indicator. To recap your first two choices;

first there is do nothing. Just have Medicare A & B, Original Medicare.

You have the freedom to see any doctor in the country, you have control over your Health Care

But, you do not have a financial cap. You don't have a cap or limit on your financial exposure.

Choice number two is to trade Original Medicare in for the actuarial equivalency run by a private for profit insurance company.

You are going to give up your freedom and your control over your Health Care, but you're gonna have a limit financially.

You'll have a maximum annual out of pocket limit so that your financial exposure is capped on an annual basis.

Your third choice is to keep your Original Medicare. Keep Medicare Part A & B and add to it. Enhance it with a Medicare supplement.

A Medicare supplement will then pay the copays and deductibles that would have been left as your financial responsibility.

With the Medicare supplement plan you can limit your annual out a pocket expense

for medical bills to zero or just a couple $100. Medicare supplement plans are also called Medigap plans.

Same thing Medicare supplement or Medigap. Medicare supplement plans are subservient to Medicare.

Medicare supplement plans are administered by a private insurance company, but they are subservient to Medicare.

Here's how works; you go a doctor. The doctor will bill Medicare. Medicare pays its portion then Medicare will instruct the Medicare

supplement company what to pay and when to pay it. There's no debate, there's no argument.

There's nothing the Medicare supplement plan can do to ovoid paying something.

and it will never be in by something that you even look at. Medicare is the middle person so that you're never having to deal with the

insurance company other than paying your premiums and telling them when you've moved.

With Medicare supplement plans it's very important to understand it is completely different than the Medicare Advantage Plan

They are subservient to Medicare and they pay the claims Medicare tells them to pay.

There are no star ratings with Medicare supplement plans. That's important to understand, an important distinction.

Why are there no star ratings? There are no star rating for the supplement plan because your experience

with the supplement plan is actually your experience with Medicare.

Its original Medicare making those decisions, not the insurance company. The benefits of a Medicare supplement plan are standardized.

They are meant to be exactly the same from one company to another. In fact

those benefits are written into Social Security law. There are 10 different Medicare supplement plans. They are each designated

by letter. The most common are Medigap Plan F, Medigap Plan G, Medigap Plan N, Plan C etcetera.

Each and every one of those plans, if it's a Plan G it's identical from one company to another

Plan N's identical from one company to another

Because the benefits of those plans are written into law to be exact, to be identical. The only difference is your price and the pricing strategy

of the insurance company. With the Medicare supplement plan you still have Original Medicare

You can still see any doctor or go to any medical facility in the country that accepts Medicare.

You don't have to get permission. You have complete freedom, you have complete control of your Health Care and now you have a

financial maximum annual out of pocket that can be limited to down to zero or just a couple $100 a year.

It's also important to understand and when you have a Medicare supplement you don't need to

ask your doctor "Do you take insurance from company "X"? All your doctor or hospital has to do is take Medicare.

It doesn't matter which insurance company that you have your supplement plan with,

as long as they take Medicare they take the supplement. The easy way to word that is "Every doctor and every hospital that accepts

Medicare accepts every Medicare supplement from any insurance company.

Medicare supplement plans have their own premium, they have their own cost separate from Medicare.

For most people they find that the cost of a Medicare supplement is substantially less

than their under 65 medical insurance that they have been paying for.

When you have a Medicare supplement, you have Original Medicare you also will need to get

your own separate standalone prescription drug plan.

For some people that will be a good thing because when you can shop for your own prescription drug plan

you'll often save money over some of the alternatives with Medicare Advantage plans.

As long as the cost of a Medicare supplement can fit into your budget

the Medicare supplement and Original Medicare is some of the best Health Care that is available in this country.

This is very important -

in virtually every state in this country, all but a few states

there's only a six month window that you have are you can get the Medicare supplement plan of your choice

without having to go through medical underwriting.

You should be, by now, aware of your Medicare Initial Enrollment Period.

There is also a Medicare supplement Initial Enrollment Period. It's a separate period.

Your Medicare supplement an initial enrollment period

starts the day you start your Medicare Part B and extends for six months. It's a six month window of the very first six months

that you have Medicare Part B.

You can get any Medicare supplement plan available to you, at the best price that plan is offered. After that six0month period you can

still shop for Medicare supplement plan but in order to get one you'll have to qualify medically. To qualified medically

we will take a look at your medical history and your prescriptions. If you've had any significant

recent histories of heart attack stroke cancer dementia, very significant events

then you may not be able to get a Medicare supplement. This is something that I have seen all too often; people going with the Medicare

Advantage Plan thinking they will just save money 'cause they're healthy anyway.

A couple years go by, something happens and now they're looking and although the cost their associated with their Health Care and Medicare

Advantage Plan and they would rather have a supplement. So the call me up during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period

and they want to get a Medicare supplement. But they can't.

They can't because their health history is now tainted and they are unable to qualify medically.

That's important to understand

the Annual election Period. Your annual open enrollment for Medicare is only for Medicare Advantage Plans and prescription drug plans.

You Medicare supplement has no annual enrollment. It doesn't change every year, so you don't need one.

After the first six months on Medicare, you can still change your plan any time. You can change it as often as you want.

You just have to qualify medically.

If you can't qualify medically then you will be unable to get a Medicare supplement plan. To put it simply you can always switch from a

Medicare supplement to Medicare Advantage Plan.

But you can't always switch from a Medicare Advantage Plan to a Medicare supplement.

To recap you three choices;

you can simply keep the Original Medicare you have freedom you have control

but you have unlimited financial exposure.

You can switch to a Medicare Advantage Plan where you

give up your freedom and your control but you have limited financial exposure.

Or you can build on your Original Medicare. Add a Medicare supplement to it. Your gonna pay an extra expense for that, but you maintain

your freedom to see any doctor anywhere in the country. You maintain your control to be able to

go to the doctor at your will and not have to get permission

and you've limited your financial exposure too much less than you would with the Medicare Advantage Plan.

Your next step is to you decide which of these three choices or areas that you wanna take a look at.

If you want to explore Medicare Advantage plans, at the very end of this video, in the last 30 seconds of this video

there are links to some of the other videos that you should see. One of those will be the Medicare Advantage Plans.

I will also have links to some specific Medicare supplements, the more common ones so you can see videos

on those as well. Again, it's in the last 30 seconds of this video.

Lastly, we have not covered Medicare Part D prescription drug plans.

Rather than drag this video on to a point where it puts everybody to sleep

I have the everything you need to know about prescription drug plans in two separate videos. The first being Medicare Part D Explained

which talks about the plan's the features of the plans that you should be aware of when

when deciding on shopping for a Part D plan. The second one is how to shop for a prescription drug plan. In that one I actually

take you step-by-step on how to get on the Medicare.gov site, input your prescriptions and let the Medicare.gov

website show you which Medicare Part D plan is best for you.

In those videos I also tell you why you should never take the recommendation for which

Medicare Part D plan to get from an agent or broker.

Never ask the agent or broker which Part D plan, which prescription drug plan should I get?

Always use the Medicare.gov website to figure out which plan is right for you.

I explain why in those videos. That too is linked you're just the second of the very end of this video.

How To Masturbate With Nerve Damage | #SpinaBifida - Duration: 5:12.

We all know this video is going to get demonetized.

(pop)

Listen, masturbation is fun.

It's normal and you should learn how to do it.

Society has failed in teaching us

sex education and even if they did teach it

they would not teach that disabled people

have sex or masturbate.

Because of course us disabled people don't do that.

I'm going to give you some tips

on how to masturbate with your hands,

with some toys,

and find some creative ways to masturbate

if you have nerve damage.

Full disclosure, these tips are mainly for people

who have vulvas and a vagina.

So yeah.

Let's begin.

Start with your hands.

Use your hands to feel around your body and figure out

what you can and cannot feel.

This isn't the masturbation part but it's the discovery.

You need to know what your body feels like

and you need to know what you can and cannot feel

and these tools will help you do that.

For myself, my clit is sensitive but parts of my vulva

have nerve damage and I can't feel it.

Also my butt has some nerve damage

but with a hard enough smack,

it gets the job done.

Just feel yourself and from there you can

start exploring what feels good.

So once you figure out what you can and cannot feel

use your fingers and start rubbing areas

maybe some light rubbing and increase the pressure.

Or start with a lot of pressure and slowly take it off.

And for a little bonus I'm going to link

a video in the description of my friend Stevie

great little masturbation techniques

and fingering techniques I think you could also

use and benefit from.

Now if you find you have a lot of nerve damage

in your vulva and vagina, don't worry.

That's totally okay and there are other parts of your body

that you can play around with that can get you off as well.

Try playing with your chest and your nipples.

They're often sensitive and you can find pleasure with them.

Squeeze them, move them around, pinch or pull your nipples.

Explore these things and see what feels good.

Honestly playing with my chest is one of my personal favorite things

And while you play with them, maybe

read some naughty books, or listen to some naughty audio books.

I wish I had a sponsor for that part.

Or watch some porn while you're playing with them.

I find that touching myself in areas I do have sensitivity in

and combining it with either porn or some kind of erotica

helps me a lot more mentally to get off.

Now let's get into some toys.

Now if your vagina has some nerve damage inside

depending on the dildo and how big it is

will depend on if you can feel enough sensation with penetration.

Which by the way if you don't experience any

pleasure from penetration that is totally okay and normal.

So if you wanna use a dildo or a vibrator

and you have limited mobility in your hands

to hold and grip things, I suggest getting something that

you mount it on or get something like this

that has a suction cup.

Now this dildo is great because it give you a lot more freedom

with your hands and it can help you save energy

because you don't have to actually hold it.

As long as you can suction it on a surface like

your shower, a clean floor, you can use it.

Just remember two things, keep everything clean

and be safe.

So a way to be safe is for example if

you use the suction cup dildo and you put it on the floor

and you have some balance issues like I do

there are ways to stabilize yourself while riding it.

You can use a chair to hold on to,

you can also use your bed.

If you're gunna use it in the bathroom, depending,

make sure you have something to hold on to because

the bathroom is slippery and you would not want to fall.

But having a suction cup or a mount

for these extra toys saves energy.

Now if penetration isn't working for you

but you have sensitivity on your vulva or your clit

a little bullet vibrator might help.

A lot of bullet vibrators have different settings

of intensity and it's nice to just take them and go along

your vulva see if that feels good.

If it's not too much sensitivity, you can put it on your clit.

Or even, if you have sensitivity on your legs

or other parts of your body like your chest

put the vibrator there and see how that feels

Remember if it doesn't work out right away and you don't

cum right away that's totally fine.

Navigating masturbation while having nerve damage

is a lot of trail and error until you figure out what your

body likes, what it can feel.

I know having nerve damage is frustrating

and being disabled, sometimes you just don't have the

energy to masturbate.

So I hope some of these little tips

helped you out and I hope you have enough energy

to want to masturbate because it's fun

and it's a great stress reliever.

And someone needs to teach us

safer ways because well everyone deserves a safe

and fun way to masturbate.

So if you're comfortable with it,

and you're disabled, how do you masturbate?

What are some like safety tips you do to get off?

What are some ways if you have nerve damage

you use to get off in other ways?

Let me know, let's have a discussion down below.

Because we're all still learning.

Most of these tips are what I use with my nerve damage.

Just remember, there's nothing wrong with out bodies.

Nerve damage happens and so we just need to find

safe alternative ways to get off.

Because it's not like sex is impossible for us,

it's not like masturbation is impossible for us.

You can enjoy masturbation and enjoy sex.

And that's really all I have to say,

so thank you for watching.
