Waching daily Dec 2 2017

This is a divinely inspired video.

It's again God time in India.

And I just came from Tiruvannamalai a day ago.

Something is forcing me to go back.

It's as if God, Tiruvannamalai, the mountain is possessing me. and I'm very happy about

it.

I have never had an experience like this, And what am I learning from this place?

I'm learning from this place about one thing — changing the unchangeable.

This is something very, very close to my heart.

One thing that everybody wants to change in their life is their Karma.

Which is their bad money Karma, bad relationship Karma and bad health Karma.

Is it changeable?

For most people, if not all, it's unchangeable.

Every day you face the same reality over and over and over again.

Now I am convinced after working for four decades on this subject of changing the Karma

of people, I am convinced that God is the only answer.

But then we live in a civilization and amidst people to whom God is marginalized.

We don't even have any sensibility whatsoever to God.

We have sensibility belief in rationality, in science, but not in God.

We have lost the sensibility towards God.

But let me tell you who can change your Karma is only God.

But how can you bring back God in your life?

One definition of God that I am comfortable with and you can also resonate with it is

— God is Consciousness within you.

God is not outside of you.

But he is not the rational Brain.

Just before I started doing this, I was flipping through many, very interesting video clips

on Facebook.

But not settling on anything, but just being there for a few seconds and then going.

And this is what we do in life.

We don't have just commitment.

We don't have commitment to one thing — to God.

If you have commitment to God, commitment is number one.

And commitment to God since God is very difficult to conceive of and feel.

And I'm offering this solution to you.

Just think of God as your Consciousness beyond your mind, your rationality.

It is the minutest of the minute.

And meditation is one way of getting there.

And then putting all your emotions to God is another way.

These are technologies.

I want you to take this seriously.

Either meditate or believe in God like a child believes in her mother or father solving the

child's problem.

You definitely will get an answer.

God is compassionate.

He's the minutest of the minute.

Meditation will get you there.

I want to invite you to Tiruvannamalai for my birthday.

And there will be other places where I will be taking you to.

The Mystery School program will discipline you.

I also recommend that to you.

The change is the birthright of every thinking being.

And you can change your life, your relationship your money, your health. God bless.

HOW TO KNIT - Duration: 0:59.

Let's learn how to knit!

To knit, we get our right needle and we put it from the front to the back.

and then, bring our yarn over our right hand needle counter-clockwise

then slide it off.

K, our yarn is in the back still.

Front to back, bring our yarn over.

Front...to back.

Yarn goes around.

Just like that.

Front to back.

That is how you knit!

SONY XPERIA L1 UNBOXING AND FULL DETAILED AND IN DEPTH REVIEW! - Duration: 16:32.

Hey guys and girls it's me JoshyTek, I'm so excited to bring you an unboxing and full

review of the Sony Xperia L1.

Before I get into the video, I'm in no means getting paid for this amazing content I'm

making for you and also if you're going ask down in the comments about if the L1 is better

than the J3 or any other phone, I won't be able to answer those questions just because

I'm a small channel and it's extremely hard to get noticed in this big wide world and

I can't therefore just go and buy those phones.

If I got asked to review those phone's, then I will be able to answer your questions but

since I'm a small channel, I won't be able to so please appreciate my situation.

So to begin with, the box the phone comes in is very stylish and it clearly indicates

the new line of the Xperia X series, it's a very minimal box which doesn't overload

you with too much information.

Flipping the box over, it gives you some information such as the camera, display screen size, and

much more which I'll explain later on in this video.

The box opens very neatly, and you will straight away see the phone displayed is right in front

of you.

Before I talk about the phone, the device comes with a quick start guide which guides

you through the setup process of the phone, alongside a USB Type C cable, wall charger,

and earphones.

So at this price point you are definitely getting a complete package in terms of what

is inside the packaging.

Moving onto the phone itself, if you're used to high end flagships like a glass or a metal

design, you're going to be a bit disappointed here.

The whole design is made out of plastic, now considering this is a budget phone, you're

obviously going to expect this type of experience.

One thing I noticed was that the middle of the back of the phone is very weak and it

moves a bit with only a bit of pressure, so quiet disappointed by the build quality.

What's even worse is that if you accidentally scratch the back, you will be left with a

permanent mark there until you wipe it off.

I would've expected soft touch material but you can obviously slap a case onto this phone

and you will easily forget about it, however the plastic is reinforced all over the side

bezels of the device which makes it a bit sturdy to hold.

In terms of features, it comes equipped with a 3.5 millimetre headphone jack on the top

next to a microphone, you also get a flap which can be opened to reveal the SIM card

and there is also of course an expandable memory slot where a micro SD card can be placed

to expand its 16 gigabytes of internal storage.

On the right side you do get the power and volume buttons which I do now think Sony has

finally mastered a comfortable position for them.

On the bottom, you do get an extra microphone, a single mono loudspeaker and surprisingly

a USB Type C port which is great as you can connect the charger cable in any direction

alongside some faster read and write speeds if you're going to be doing some file transfers.

I'm glad Sony has implemented this feature onto the L1 because we don't normally see

USB Type C on budget devices, normally high end phones offer this feature so hats off

to Sony for adding that.

On the back, you do get Near Fielding Communication as it's clearly indicated above the Xperia

logo, which allows you to connect to Bluetooth devices such as a Bluetooth speaker using

NFC.

And on the front you can see the Sony Logo alongside the adaptive brightness sensor and

it's front facing camera which I will explain later.

You also get a notification light placed on the very top left which will activate whenever

you receive a notification or when you charge it.

There is also an earpiece where you can hear the recipient during a phone call.

Powering on the device you will be displayed by a 5.5 inch 720p display, now a lot of you

might be disappointed by a 720p display in 2017 but considering this is a budget device,

it's expected at this price point.

However, I'm quite impressed by the colour reproduction that this display punches out

considering it's an IPS display and like I mentioned before, I feel that 5.5 inches is

a perfect display size for playing games, watching movies or YouTube videos.

For the performance, you're getting the Mediatek MT6737T.

If you don't know what Mediatek CPU's are, they're below snapdragon CPU's and they're

much more cheaper to make and manufacture.

This is a quad core CPU and all of the cores can be clocked upto 1.4Ghz.

Also the CPU runs on the ARM Cortex A53 CPU Architecture which means the cpu is not on

the 64 bit architecture, so that may put you off because the new pixel and nexus devices

run on the 64 bit architecture so if you're trying to get system apps from those devices

such as the google camera app, you won't be able to just because of different CPU architectures.

If you have a bit of knowledge on CPU's, you will know that on this phone, 1.4Ghz is

not really fast, but to be honest, considering the phone is rendering everything at 720p

and there is less pixels to push around, the day to day performance is alright and zippy

for a phone at this price.

And as a bonus, you do get 2GB of RAM so you will be able to cache some applications in

the background, however there is other competitors out there for a little less like the Moto

e4plus which comes with with 3GB of RAM, A fingerprint scanner and a 5400mAh battery,

by the way if you're wondering, I haven't tried the Moto e4plus.

On the other hand, if you're a gamer and want to do some gaming, the phone comes with the

MaliT720MP2, I will do a separate gaming video on this phone in the future, so be sure to

be subscribed if you want to see that.

For the camera and video performance, the phone comes with a 13MP camera, however it's

downscaled to 10MP for widescreen.

The phone comes with a manual mode which you can change the ISO, White balance, Shutter

speed, exposure and even focusing, however one thing you cannot change is the lens aperture.

One thing a lot of Sony fans might miss is the shutter button which is not on this phone.

My older M2 had a shutter button which was great as I could easily open up the camera

app just by holding down on that button to capture a moment, so it's kind of a shame

it's not on the Xperia L1.

For the software, the phones running on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The software experience is pretty stock vanilla android experience with some additions such

as some preinstalled applications like Facebook, Spotify, Xperia lounge and some other system

based apps like album, music, video, what's new which those I mentioned cannot be uninstalled.

What is quite sad is that half of the 16 gigabytes of storage is taken up by the OS.

The phone does come with a smart cleaner which can clean junk and optimise the phone's storage,

you also get what Sony call smart backlight control which automatically keeps the phone's

screen on when looking at a photograph and not touching the screen on the phone.

If you're a software person and want to have Android Oreo on your phone for some reason,

I checked Sony's page and the L1 is not listed to get Oreo which is strange because

it is a 2017 device and you would expect support for at least 2 years with this device so that

a bit strange.

By the way, this phone is a pain to unlock the bootloader, so I would recommend getting

a Motorola Device as they're ten times easier than Sony devices to do that.

The battery on L1 is a 2620mAh battery.

It depends on how you use the phone but I can normally get around about 1 to 2 hours

of screen on time which in 2017 is kind of poor, however you can always use Sony's

stamina modes if you want to squeeze more power out of the phone.

Call quality is completely fine with this phone, I was easily able to hear the recipient

on the other end of the line, however the speakerphone is a little quiet when there

is a lot of background noise.

For the photographs, I did capture some of the NEC motorcycle show and I can say that

in decent light, the photographs come out great, by the way if you're wondering, this

was all shot in auto mode.

In lower light conditions the photographs quickly become grainy and distorted, if you

throw in the flash it doesn't really make much of a difference to the photograph.

The back camera should be fine for a quick photo but if you're into photography, I would

recommend using a DSLR.

Looking at the front camera, is a 5MP shooter but in widescreen it's downgraded to 3MP.

If you're a selfie person, I'm sorry but you're not going to be getting brilliant selfies

here, they become really soft and there is not much sharpness involved, but if you're

going to post a quick selfie in decent light on social media then this can kind of do the

job for that.

The phone can record at full HD at both front and back cameras.

In my opinion, full HD is fine for today's standards however, if you're going to be viewing

your videos on the phone, you're going to be missing quality as

it's a 720p display.

One thing I noticed and I don't know if it's just a bug in the software or is just a safety

feature, but when you use the camera shortcut from the lockscreen and after having the camera

open for 1 or 2 minutes, the camera app just closes and returns to its lockscreen.

Maybe some of you Sony users can tell me down in the comments what it is but I probably

think it's a safety feature as the phone doesn't tell me that the camera has stopped.

All in all, comparing the L1 to my older M2, I feel that Sony hasn't really innovated much

in the past few years, everything seems to be in the same place and Sony still use that

squarish design on their handsets, I do like the addition of the USB Type C on the L1,

a few gripes I can only say is that the plastic build quality puts me off and the single mono

speaker can easily be blocked when watching videos and with other budget handsets having

fingerprint scanners, I wouldn't completely recommend this phone to you.

Yes it gets everyday tasks done fine but however, there is much better options out there to

choose from that give you more phone for your money, but however if you just want a phone

that works and gets the job done in a day to day basis, then I would recommend this

phone for you.

So I hope you you enjoyed my review of the Sony Xperia L1, I will be making a gaming

performance video on this phone later on in the future so stay subscribed to see that,

also if you own the L1, let me know about how your experience is with it, I'll be interested

to hear you thoughts, but apart from that, I will see you in next week's video and um

yeah goodbye.

Motif Curve Breast Pump Unboxing and Review - Duration: 10:17.

- [Demonstrator] This is the Motif Curve

double electric breast pump.

I'm gonna open it up and see it's in the packing,

which is actually pretty secure.

I actually really like how they packaged this for shipping.

As most of us know, some of the stuff comes to you

and you and it's all beat up.

This is actually very nice.

As you can see, the back of the box is very detailed.

It has a lot of good information on it.

So, I guess now, we're just gonna go ahead and open it up!

Alright I have the box open now.

Let's go ahead and pull out this bag.

I do like the bag.

It's very sturdy.

Very nice and as you can see, it's got a nice full strap.

You can even put some diapers in here if you needed to.

The front pocket right here, opens up.

Be kind of nice, you can stick your cellphone in there

or whatever other little thing you need, maybe a wallet.

But as I open the bag, I'm immediately gonna pull this out.

Alright, gonna make it everything right out.

Then we'll go over everything.

Everything is packaged very neatly, actually.

Ooh, this is nice.

This is the motor and it is definitely, definitely portable.

I've got these.

Of course, we've got our handy manual

which we will be going over,

and a cooler, definitely important.

This, and this.

Now I'm gonna arrange everything

and then we can go over it and really look at everything.

Okay, so here we have one fully assembled

and here I've kind of taken it apart

so we can see all the pieces.

Alright, of course, you have the connector.

Okay, so this is the diaphragm.

It simply goes in the connector,

and you wanna make sure that, that's on there.

And then you wanna take the diaphragm cover,

and you wanna place it,

your tubing will actually connect to this.

Alright, and then we have the massage shield,

and that goes in like so,

and there's a little lid right there.

Just make sure that's on there.

And then we have the hygiene cover, and that goes over here.

It protects everything, especially after you've cleaned it.

And then, right in here, you see the valve,

and then there's also a membrane in there.

These are all pieces that you definitely wanna wash,

and so I'm gonna go ahead and go take care

of that right now.

Okay, right here we have the storage containers.

Obviously, they're bottles as well,

and you have nipples on it, but we're not gonna use that

for the actual pump, but that's definitely very beneficial.

Now, right here is the connector for the tubing,

so you wanna take the tubing right here,

and it says the tube cannot be sterilized or washed.

The water left in the tube might destroy the motor part.

So that's very important to keep in mind.

And what we're gonna do, is I'm gonna take this long one,

and connect it securely right there on the connector.

And then they have one for each side.

(part knocking against table)

Oops.

One for each side.

Alright, and what we will do from here is

you'll take your sterilized piece and you will simply

connect the tubing there.

Now if you're gonna do a double pump,

you'll obviously connect the tubing

on the other one as well,

as so.

And then what you will do,

is connect it to the storage container.

And you can set it in this nifty container holder.

Just kind of sets everything up in it,

keeps everything from falling down, getting dirty

or, you know, being unsterilized.

Okay.

This is the USB cord and this is the power adapter.

Everything is super-portable, actually,

like the sizing of it.

It came in this bag right here,

which you can always put it back in for extra storage.

Now, I'm gonna take this and plug it up.

Alright, very important, we wanna definitely connect

the tubing into the actual pump motor,

which has a nice LCD screen.

My pumps may have been a little bit older,

but we didn't have that, and they were much heavier.

And here you have a power button,

and you will obviously just press this.

I have not charged it but it shows the charging symbol

right there, so it is charging right now.

Therefore, you can take it without having to take

the adapter if you need to.

(buzzing)

That is on, and that is Level One,

and as we can see the diaphragm is moving.

It's the lowest level, but it goes all the way up

to Level Nine, and all you have to do is (mumbles)

technology, so it'd light up and it's four, five, six.

Let's see.

(buzzing)

And it automatically starts the letdown.

And this is like super-easy to control the levels.

And it makes it really versatile.

Okay, so I think that's really nice,

and very portable and I can definitely see

the diaphragm moving at a different pace than one.

And it really just depends on your comfortability

and what works for you.

But, this is definitely versatile.

Now this little connector is really nifty

because when you have it right there in the middle,

both of these are gonna be pumping.

So both of these are gonna be working.

But let's say I switch it to this one

when it's connected to this, only this one will work,

but it can still be connected.

Now if I switch it the other way,

you see that one starts goin'.

Super nifty.

I also wanna point out that you barely hear this motor.

I don't know if you've tried many breast pumps,

but they get loud, like really loud.

This is actually really nice.

I wanted to point out that in most of

breast pump manuals and what not,

you will find storage,

for breast milk, and that's very important.

Anything that explains to you how long,

and it varies depending on what you read,

but always read the whole manual.

But this is overall, this is a really easy pump

to manage and to read.

It's been a couple of years since I've delved into pumps,

and I can tell you this was an easy one.

I actually, really, really enjoyed the LCD screen,

how minimal noise it makes,

the bags are actually quite fashionable

for some of the breast pump bags,

'cause trust me, some of them are huge guys,

and you might as well be carrying a duffle bag,

and this one actually looks like a purse

and could double as a diaper bag.

Most of us moms have done that before,

a lot of times, because you don't want carry

a huge bag and then a diaper bag and then

all kinds of other stuff, if you're out and on the run.

So I definitely like the storage.

This is the cooler.

I actually don't think it's a bad size,

and it'll definitely fit two of the milk storage bags.

And, of course, it comes with a nice ice pack.

Of course, you can put whatever ice pack you want

in it, as long as it fits, but it never hurts

when they actually come with it.

And there's the actual inside of it.

I wanted to point out that I've only had it plugged up

for 20 minutes, and I've already got two bars of battery.

Like that's not bad at all guys.

I'm the worst about remembering to plug something up,

and I always remember last minute so

this is kind of, I was really impressed by that.

Really, really impressed actually.

Well I went to go and put everything up

and I totally forgot the lanyard.

Okay, if you're like me, anything about this size

will be dropped, especially if you already have

older children, it happens.

So you can attach this to it.

Alright guys, I'm not even gonna joke about it.

I had the mom guard with this, with the bobby pin,

because this was the most difficult task of this whole pump.

Of course, I'm not the best with these little pieces,

but it's on there and it's detachable.

I can't lie, this is a very nice feature.

Just snap it on,

wear it around your neck and how versatile is that?

That's so nice.

Look, and it is down about waist size.

I think that's perfect.

I like this a lot actually.

The suction is really good, I have to say,

and I definitely think for the price of $175,

you really can't beat this.

My other two pumps were upwards of $400

and one of them barely worked,

and the other one took me a very long time to express

milk and I was doing it properly.

It was not the best suction and it only had like two modes,

three actually, if I remember correctly.

They also give you two extra valves, and (mumbles).

Can't forget those.

Always nice with the storage systems.

And they give you everything you need, really they do.

Again, I just really wanted to point out how nice

this actual bag is.

If you get it wet, I'm sure it won't do any damage,

because it's very nice material.

Actually hangs exactly where a purse would,

and I do think it's big enough to carry a few diapers,

and wipes and you'll be set!

And a change of clothes for baby

'cause we all know that happens all the time.

Spit-up happens, and other things so,

nothing like it!

I just wanted to point that out.

4 REASONS WHY ISDS IS BAD FOR YOU! #CANADA - Duration: 8:03.

Oh my god... the Investor State Dispute Settlement.

Wow, what a fancy name, that seems cool!

Cool?

No, no, no, no!

It's actually the Holy Grail of big corporations when it comes to free trade agreements.

This dispute settlement that we will call ISDS is everywhere,

in bilateral trade agreements, in international trade agreements, everywhere!

In NAFTA, CETA, Trans-Pacific Partnership.

ISDS is a system through which investors can sue countries for "alleged discriminatory practices."

However, what they call "alleged discriminatory practices" were, in many cases, very beneficial for you

because they were financial, environmental and labour regulations for your interests.

Psh, what?

Because of NAFTA, now Canada is one of the most sued countries in the world.

Canada has been sued more times than the United States or even Mexico.

But let's be reasonable and honest, usually countries win more cases than they actually lose.

But it does not impede us from revealing four reasons why ISDS is freaking bad for you.

REASON #1: The ISDS is a tool used by corporations to make governments pay when they regulate.

Across the world, you can see many corporations that are trying to make governments pay

because of perfectly legitimate policies that were actually supposed to protect your interests.

It could have been for your health, for the environment that you live in or other public interests.

What, what, what, why the f*ck are these companies doing that?

Oh please, regulate your behaviour young man.

They are doing this, why?

Because they actually claim that these regulations and policies have an indirect

consequence of undermining their corporate profits.

Okay, but you need to give me examples.

A Canadian company called Lone Pine is suing Canada via a US-subsidiary for CAN $250 million.

Why?

Because actually Quebec imposed a moratorium on shale gas extraction over environmental concerns.

Okay, now another example?

Wait seriously, again?

Of course!

Ethyl, a U.S. chemical corporation, actually challenged successfully a Canadian ban on its imports of

gasoline that were containing MMT, which is actually a chemical that is a suspected neurotoxin.

So, the Canadian government decided to repeal the ban and they actually paid the company

CAN $16 million for its lost revenue.

So basically, in these cases, the government had to pay millions of dollars to companies, just because why?

They were protecting citizens' interests.

It's actually pretty worrisome as a situation.

REASON #2: The ISDS kills Canadian democracy and sovereignty.

It's important to understand that laws that were supposed to protect your health and

the environment that you live in were completely abandoned, why?

Because of the threat of corporate claims for multi-million dollar damages.

Rather than a shield to defend companies against the unfair behaviour of the state, basically ISDS

is used as a powerful corporate weapon to kill, delay and weaken regulation.

Many law firms that are specialized in this kind of shady activity encourage their corporate clients

to use this weapon, ISDS, in order to scare off governments into submission.

Basically, the ISDS effectively gives corporations the power to strike down the laws of sovereign nations.

In other words, corporations are the masters!

Yes, they can regulate democratic states in their own way, and not the other way around.

This is a frontal assault on the ideas of democracy and sovereignty.

REASON #3: The investor-state arbitration system is fundamentally flawed.

The ISDS creates a parallel business-friendly judicial system just for the transnational corporations.

This is what we call the investor-state arbitration system.

Psh, that seems like a conspiracy, what you are talking about!

No, no, no, no, it's not!

These investor-state lawsuits are decided by private commercial arbitrators who are actually being paid for

each case up to CAN $1.2 million, and they have a clear tendency to interpret the law in favour of investors.

Oh my god, that's a lot of shady business!

Yes, exactly!

And firstly, investor-state arbitrators are actually violating one principle of law,

which is the equality before the law.

It privileges foreign investors over local entrepreneurs, citizens, communities who do not have

the same access to these business-friendly systems.

It is a very, very serious situation.

Secondly, it's a very one-sided process.

Yes, because only companies can sue governments.

Abusive corporations cannot be sued, for example, when they violate human rights, which already happened.

Arbitrators tend to defend the rights of private investors above those of the public interest.

REASON #4: The risks of being sued by big businesses are ever growing for governments.

There has been an incredible increase in the risks associated with states being sued by

corporations on the basis of corporate rights that you can see in free trade agreements.

Okay, why?

Because firstly, the ISDS has been very democratized.

It is a very well known system in the business community.

Secondly, investment arbitration has become the money-making machine.

Today, there are a number of law firms and arbitrators whose business models

depend on corporations suing the government, and they even monopolize the elite,

such as King & Spalding or even White & Case, which are two law firms from the United States.

So basically, these companies and law firms are making hundreds of millions of dollars at the expense of

your health, your public interests and the environment that you live in.

And of course, there are plenty of other reasons.

But as a result, the number of investor claims against states has exploded,

from a dozen in the mid-1990s to more than 568 known cases by the end of 2013.

What we are talking about, it's not something that we should deny.

It's not a coincidence when you see Forbes, which is an economically conservative media,

suggests reasons why the ISDS is very bad.

It's not a coincidence when you see Joseph Stiglitz, an American economist, saying that the Trans-Pacific

Partnership between Canada and eleven other countries may be the worst trade agreement ever.

It is not a coincidence when you see millions of people, today in the streets,

all over the world, resisting this corporate free trade agreement.

We absolutely need to reform all bilateral and international trade agreements all over the world

because I think that we all value this principle: people over profit.

Lucidchart Tutorials - AWS Import - Duration: 2:23.

An AWS diagram can be useful in a wide range of scenarios.

Unfortunately, if you have a pretty lare architecture, this process can be tedious and time consuming.

Lucidchart makes it easy to import your AWS architecture into a diagram so you can focus

on the important stuff.

First open the templates manager from the Documents page by clicking here in the template

banner.

Then under Categories, select Network.

You'll notice a wide range of options here, including an AWS Import guide, which you can

use later if needed.

AYL Hog Canyon Kanb Juab Co Davis Co Rent Utah Toys Hardware Ranch Temple Square - Duration: 28:51.

CHAD BOOTH: We're riding with

t="533"public officials on public lands

t="1101"this week

on At your Leisure as we find out why access is so important to rural

counties. I'm Chad Booth. Join Ria and me as we learn how easy it is

to plan a southern Utah adventure complete with all the machines you could need.

ZACH CIPRIANO: Then follow me, Zach Cipriano, as I show you how to enjoy

this Christmas Season in entirely new ways at different destinations

guaranteed to bring some yuletime cheer.

CHAD BOOTH: Finally Joe Davis runs, jumps, and flips his way through the

urban landscapes of the west. Own the outdoors with AYL right now!

Ria: Well, we've got the peeps, we've got the machines and we are ready

to ride. Hello everybody, I am Ria Rosy Booth from At Your Leisure.

Chad: And I'm Chad Booth and we are at Hog canyon today and we are going

to do a little bit of fun riding, we're going to find out a little bit

about this company.

Ria: Ya we are out her with some of our good friends from Rent Utah Toys.COM

(rentutahtoys.com) which are the machines we have here. We've got Cash and

Bill, great guys, call them and get your toys, fantastic.

Chad: And on the other side we have a couple of commissioners from around

the state of Utah, we have commissioner Brett Millburn from Davis County

and commissioner Rick Carlton from Jewab County. An urban and a rural

county and were going to find out a little bit about how important land

access is to everybody in Utah. Anyway, we're going to get out on the

trail and we're going to find out a little bit about the area and about

these guys.

Man 1: It's absolute paradise down here; it's a playground for off roaders.

You get every type of terrain within a short period of time, distance,

there's something for everybody from rocks, sand, and different types of

dirt. It's absolutely amazing. We take a lot of people out that have never

seen it and they absolutely love it; covered in red dirt, that's one of

our trade marks I think. We've got to leave a little bit of Southern Utah

in you. That red dirt stays with you forever.

Man 2: Well, Renton Utah Toys.com, is located across the number one T at

San Hollow Resort, so we have about fifteen to twenty machines in the

stable at any time.

Man 1: We have an absolute blast, we make memories, were top notch safety

and we have an absolute blast. Warner valley is a pretty excellent area

because there's so many different types of terrain right there.

You can get into sand dunes, you can get into the rocks, you can be

in dirt, lots of really awesome stuff down there. Were actually

located about three minutes from San Hollow so you can get right into

the dunes very quickly.

Man 2: We have a two hour, a three hour, and a four hour tour.

The four hour tour is about fifty miles total and we see a lot of

different things. But the best part is you get to see Fort Pearce where

the settlers made a fort, you also see some dinosaur tracks, and one

the back side of the sand dunes we've got a little place called the

Flintstone House and we play in the sand dunes. It's a great time,

highly recommend it. We have a lot of people ask the same thing and

their afraid if their going on a guided tour it's going to be something

like in a different country where you go five miles an hour down the

beach and that's not the case at all. We like to go as fast as the

slowest person, but as far as experience and expert level, we teach

everyone. We have jet skis as well to be used over at Quell Creak or

San Hollow; some people even take them to Lake Powell. Everybody that

comes out, a lot of them are really nervous at first and by the end

of the trip they've had a great time and their all pretty much experts.

Ria: You know Chad what I love about this is everywhere you go, OK

like we are on flat scenic mountain tops, so it's like the views are

over the top literally.

Chad: Oh, ya. On the top.

Ria: On the top!

Chad: Take a look at this one right here. We are at what's called the

transmitter tower trail just outside of Kanab; we've come up the canyon

and now we turn out here and we look right down on the city of Kanab.

Why, with binoculars we could find out all kinds of things were not

supposed to.

Ria: Hey, don't give anybody any bad ideas!

Chad: Anyway

Ria: Or good ideas.

Chad: Anyway we will continue with our trip down here, were going to

find out a little bit more about land access. Right now,

it's time for us to go to our travel adventure.

ZACH CIPRIANO: WELL IT'S DECEMBER AND THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS NOW

OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY. THIS TIME OF YEAR IS ALWAYS A BUSY ONE WITH

SHOPPING AND FAMILY PARTIES, BUT THERE'S STILL PLENTY OF TIME TO TRY

SOMETHING NEW, AND THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO SHOW YOU TODAY FOR OUR TRAVEL

ADVENTURE. WHAT ARE THE CHRISTMAS DESTINATIONS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

SHOULD CHECK OUT THIS YULE TIME? I'M ZACH CIPRIANO AND I HAVE YOUR ANSWERS.

(Music Up)

THERE'S SOMETHING MAGICAL ABOUT DECEMBER. THE WORLD TAKES ON A CRISP,

COLD BEAUTY AS WEATHER PATTERNS CHANGE AND IT SEEMS EVEN THE CLOUDS

HAVE A STORY WORTH TELLING. THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS ONE OF TALES TOLD

AROUND THE FIRE; MEMORIES SPUN FROM CHRISTMASES PAST.

THOSE EXPERIENCES CAN BE FOUND AT WELL KNOWN DESTINATIONS FULL OF

LIGHT AND MUSIC, OR OFF THE BEATEN PATH WHERE THE SNOW DRIFTS DEEP

AND THE ELKS BUGGLE AT SUNRISE. THAT'S WHERE WE BEGIN OUR ADVENTURE THIS WEEK.

JUST SOUTH OF LOGAN UTAH, HIGHWAY 101 WEAVES ITS WAY THROUGH BLACKSMITH

FORK CANYON. AFTER ABOUT TEN MILES YOU COME TO HARDWARE RANCH, A

DESTINATION WHERE SANTA CLAUS HIMSELF WOULD GO TO FIND REPLACEMENTS

IF HIS REINDEER EVER NEEDED A DAY OFF. HUNDREDS OF ELK COME DOWN FROM

THE MOUNTAINS IN SEARCH OF FOOD EACH YEAR, AND THEY FIND IT HERE,

MUCH TO THE THRILL OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE.

DAN CHRISTENSEN: We're a family destination and you can do it in probably

as little as an hour, but we certainly invite people to come up and take

their time with the country and the elk.

ZACH CIPRIANO: AS THE SNOW DEEPENS YOU CAN TAKE SLEIGH RIDES, HELP FEED

THE ANIMALS, AND APPRECIATE THE WILDLIFE BOTH AT THE RANCH AND IN THE

NEARBY HILLS. AND IF YOU TAKE THE DRIVE UP HERE YOU'LL ALSO BE REWARDED

WITH FAR MORE OPTIONS FOR YOUR WEEKEND THAN YOU PROBABLY REALIZED.

DAN CHRISTENSEN: We have 183 miles of groomed snowmobile trail up here,

some informal sledding and tubing hills, the visitor center here, and

you can go a lot of places from this direction so it really is a family

destination and you make what you want of it for a family day.

ZACH CIPRIANO: NOW IF YOU WANT TO STAY CLOSER TO THE WASATCH FRONT FOR

YOUR HOLIDAY ADVENTURES THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE YOU MIGHT NOT

HAVE THOUGHT OF. OF COURSE YOU HAVE TEMPLE SQUARE IN DOWNTOWN SALT LAKE,

WITH ITS IMPRESSIVE LIGHTS AND MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR PERFORMANCES, BUT

JUST SOUTH IN PROVO YOU CAN SEE LIGHT DISPLAYS AND MAYBE HIT A WATERSLIDE

OR TWO WHILE YOU'RE AT IT. THIS IS A NORTH POLE ADVENTURE AT

THE SEVEN PEAKS WATERPARK.

TUCKER WILLIAMS: The best way to describe it is as a Christmas themepark.

It has five main attractions, the nutcracker story ride, the lazy river

Christmas cruise, we have the candy cane slopes where you basically sled

down a slide, we have Santa and then the Seven Peaks Express which is a

train ride.

ZACH CIPRIANO: Let's do this!

(Screams like a big baby)

IF SLIDES AREN'T ENOUGH FOR YOU, AND LET'S BE HONEST, YOU CAN NEVER GET

ENOUGH DOWNHILL WINTER THRILLS, ANOTHER STOP WILL QUENCH YOUR SLEDDING

THIRST. ALONG I-80 RIGHT BEFORE YOU GET TO PARK CITY YOU'LL FIND A TUBING

HAVEN THAT MAKES WALKING UP A SLED HILL COMPLETELY PASSE. IT'S GORGOZA PARK.

AARON BERG: we have seven tubing lanes; four upper lanes and three lower

lanes. So our upper lanes are about 1,200 feet long, our lower lanes are

a bit shorter at about 500 feet long, and it just kind of separates the

restrictions on height, smaller ones for smaller kids, taller ones for

adults. And I think it gives folks an opportunity to do something different.

ZACH CIPRIANO: ALL OF THESE ADVENTURES YOU CAN DO IN JUST A FEW HOURS,

BUT IF YOU WANT TO REALLY TRY SOMETHING UNIQUE THIS YEAR, HOW ABOUT

TRADING YOUR ENTIRE HOUSE FOR SOMETHING A BIT MORE RUSTIC. THAT'S RIGHT,

WE'RE TALKING CHRISTMAS EVE IN A YURT! EAST CANYON STATE PARK HAS AN

IMPRESSIVE SLATE OF THESE MONGOLIAN TENTS, AND THEY'LL BE FAR MORE

COMFORTABLE WHEN YOU'RE OPENING YOUR CHRISTMAS MORNING PRESENTS THAN

YOU MAY EXPECT.

LIZ WASSERNAME: The yurts are open yearround, so we have the heat on

in the winter and the showers on for the summer. You can go ice fishing,

especially later on in the winter, you can launch a snowmobile and take

them out on the lake, we have snowmobiling opportunitiees on highway 65

from I-80 over to about mile marker 16, and you can also go to the Mormon

Flats corridor where we have a trail that is four mile slong and you can

snow shoe on that trail.

ZACH CIPRIANO: IMAGINE THE PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE, A ROARING FIRE, AND

THE FUN THAT COMES WITH A NEW EXPERIENCE. THIS COULD BE A CHRISTMAS

TO REMEMBER.

THERE'S NO NEED TO BE TRAPPED BY THE BUSINESS OF THE HOLIDAYS THIS YEAR.

GET OUT AND TRY SOMETHING NEW, AND I PROMISE YOU ONE DAY YOU'LL BE

TELLING AMAZING TALES OF YOUR OWN CHRISTMASES PAST. FOR AT YOUR LEISURE

I'M ZACH CIRPIANO.

RICK: WELCOME BACK EVERYBODY TO AT YOUR LEISURE I'M RICK PETERSON AND

TODAY I GET TO GO FOR A RIDE IN THE BRAND NEW WOLVERINE X4 FROM YAMAHA;

LOVE THIS MACHINE, IT'S A FOUR SEATER IN A FOOTPRINT JUST BARELY BIGGER

THAN A TWO SEATER. THAT MEANS IT'S SUPER AGILE AND A LOT OF FUN.

I'M GOING TO TAKE IT FOR A RIDE.

MAN 1: WE'RE REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW WOLVERINE X4 BECAUSE IT'S A

BRAND NEW ENGINE; IT'S A BRAND NEW MODEL. IN UTAH WE LIKE FOUR SEATERS.

RICK: THE WOLVERINE IS BECOMING ON OF MY FAVORITE MACHINES, IF I WANT

TO GO OUT WITH MY FAMILY, OR JUST WITH THREE OF MY BUDDIES, IT'S A

GREAT FOUR SEATER WITH PLENTY OF POWER WITH THE BRAND NEW ENGINE.

BUT THE COMFORT ON THAT THING, AND ESPECIALLY THE NOISE LEVEL, ALMOST

NO NOISE, IT IS SO QUIET, NEVER EXPERIENCED THAT BEFORE ON A UTV.

WHILE THIS MACHINE IS A LOT OF FUN TO RIDE IN, IT'S ALSO VERY COMFORTABLE

AND WHEN IT COMES TO KEEPING YOUR FAMILY SAFE AND SECURE THEY'VE

THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING. THE HIGH BACK BOLSTERED SEATS ARE SUPER

COMFORTABLE; SECURED DOORS AND SIDE PANELS TO HOLD YOU IN.

YOU KNOW, AND ONE OF THE COOLEST FEATURES IN THE BACK OF THIS MACHINE

IS THE ABILITY TO FOLD UP AND MOVE FORWARD THE REAR SEATS TO CREATE A

TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF CARGO SPACE. ONE OF THE REALLY UNIQUE FEATURES OF

THE WOLVERINE X4 IS THIS AUTOMATED LOAD LEVELING SUSPENSION,

WHICH MEANS WHEN SOMEBODY GETS IN THE BACK OF YOUR MACHINE AND FILLS UP

THOSE BACK TWO SEATS IT'S GOING TO ADJUST FOR THAT EXTRA WEIGHT AND OF

COURSE WHEN THEY GET OUT IT GOES RIGHT BACK TO A COMFORT RIDE FOR TWO.

ONE THING YOU'RE REALLY GOING TO NOTICE ON THIS MACHINE IS HOW QUIET

IT IS; IT'S LIKE ONE OF THOSE NEW ELECTRIC CARS, YOU CAN'T HEAR IT COMING.

PART OF THAT IS FROM THIS AMAZING MUFFLER SYSTEM, BUT THROUGHOUT THE

MACHINE THEY'VE DONE THINGS TO REDUCE THE NOISE. THIS IS SO QUIET AND

SO COMFORTABLE, AND WHEN YOU GET INSIDE YOU REALLY NOTICE THE VALUE OF

ALL THE EFFORT THEY PUT INTO TO MAKE THIS A QUIET MACHINE.

YOU CAN ACTUALLY HAVE A CONVERSATION WHILE YOU'RE GOING DOWN THE ROAD.

ALL YOUR CONTROLS ARE WITHIN REACH OF THE STEERING WHEEL;

YOU'VE GOT YOUR LIMITED DIFFERENTIAL FOUR WHEEL DRIVE, OR YOUR FULL

LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL, YOUR LIGHTS, YOUR TILT STEERING WHEEL,

MULTIFUNCTION LED DISPLAY AND ACTUALLY A HAND PARKING BREAK WHICH IS

UNIQUE. LOVE THE INTERIOR OF THIS MACHINE, AND FINALLY THERE IS A

COUPLE OF OTHER REALLY GREAT FEATURES UNDERNEATH THE HOOD, EASY TO

GET TO, AIR CLEANER IS RIGHT ON TOP, EASY ACCESSIBILITY, HEAVY DUTY

BATTERY, TOOL KIT, AND THIS MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE ACCESSORY OF ALL,

THE SPEED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. TURN THE KEY, PULL IT OUT, LET YOUR KID

DRIVE AND HE CAN'T GO OVER TWENTY MILES AN HOUR. SO THERE YOU HAVE IT,

THE BRAND NEW WOLVERINE X4, SO GO DOWN AND SEE THE GUYS AT STEADMAN'S

AND LET THEM HELP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GET INTO ONE OF THESE WOLVERINE

X4'S FOR YOUR NEXT FAMILY RIDE. I'M RICK PETERSON AND WE'LL BE RIGHT

BACK WITH MORE AT YOUR LEISURE.

(Music Up)

Chad: Welcome back to At Your Leisure, we are about fifty feet from

Pure Pucker, the beginning of the Mosedale Trail. It's on Hawk Canyon

trail system number one and you cross the cattle guard and immediately

you go like this, Immediately.

Ria: Ya and I think they should rename it that.

Chad: What? The Pucker Hill? There are puckerier places here in Utah.

Ria: Oh we've been there.

Chad: Anyway, we are out here with a couple of county commissioners.

It's our privilege to be able to associate with most all of the

commissioners within the state of Utah from the different counties.

We have a couple of them with us today who are brave enough to actually

go out with us because I know they have both seen the show before.

Ria: Oh ya. We've got a city mouse and we've got a country mouse.

Chad: We have commissioner Millburn From Davis County and commissioner

Carleton from Juab County and they have both been so kind as to join us

today and strangely enough while their perspectives at home may be

different in managing counties, I know they feel the same about public land.

Man 1: You don't see this in other parts of the world and so the

access is key to the enjoyment of the land.

Man 2: I think it's a matter of finding balance and there are times

and places and reasons to hold restricted access. But as we've

experienced today, I guess what I've been quite amazed at is the trails

that we've been on. They've been very well marked, their signage, and

it looks as though people are respecting them.

Man 1: We do have families that live in the West Dessert and to close

one road is very critical to their livelihood and their recreational

prospects out there too. So they are impacted directly unlike the people

who are closing the roads who don't live there. The local people that

we work with from the BLM and the Federal Government are very good to

work with. They do the best they can. But those decisions that are

ultimately handed down come from some parties that live outside the

state and the people in the state are affected, and it could actually

affect them, so they have to move if these roads are closed and we have

been successful in negotiating roads in the federal wilderness area and

keeping roads open. So it's critical that those roads be maintained for

the safety of the community and for the safety of those traveling in that area.

Man 2: Get out and enjoy this wonderful state of ours, there is so

much to do and so many different things. There's something for everybody

in this state and if you're watching At Your Leisure you can find all

those little nooks and crannies in the state to visit. Get out and enjoy.

Chad: Just to make a point of how important this land access is, think

about this, King County lost sixty percent of its transportation system

on the monument when they declared it a monument. It shut down sixty

percent of the roads out there, which means that sixty percent of the

areas you could travel to no longer existed. So we've got to stay

vigilant about land access.

Ria: Absolutely, that's a huge swap of land.

Chad: That's true, what we'd be missing.

Ria: I know, and it's just such a beautiful place too.

Chad: That little ribbon of road they just drove through doesn't

affect your land very much.

Ria: And now it's time for our trail head brought to you every week

by Rocky Mountain ATV MC.

Chad: You know their great people that give you all the gear to enjoy

the land out here. Now, we've been doing land based recreation today,

you know for outdoor adventure. How would you like to do outdoor

adventure based on buildings? Check it out.

JOE DAVIS: Concrete and steel. Congestion and skyscrapers. Not exactly

what you would think of when picturing "outdoor recreation".

Urban environments don't often lend themselves to fresh air exploration

and discovery, but the necessity for both remains. Our lives are about

more than just work and driving home, but how do you get outside for

adventure when there seems to be no adventure available? Well that's simple:

you flip for it. This is Parkour.

(Music Up)

RYAN SANNAR: Parkour is a number of different things really.

It's all about moving from point a to point b as efficiently as possible.

It's an all-inclusive open discipline where anyone can do any flip or

any move they want possible.

GRIFFIN LIECHTY: I feel really light on my feet like I can jump lighter

than air.

CRYSTAL LIECHTY: He was doing all of that stuff anyway so with parkour

utah he learned how to do all of that safely. Once we asked where

griffin was and he had climbed on the roof.

JOE DAVIS: Developed in France during the late 1980's, Parkour is all

about efficiency. the goal is to traverse complex urban environments in

the fastest way possible. You may run, jump, flip, or skid your way

through, but in the end there is no obstacle you can't overcome.

As the sport has grown more and more schools have opened, though unlike

most disciplines of its type, Parkour's classroom is the great outdoors,

where instructors give hands-on demonstrations on how to quickly and

safely exploit the perceived confines of one's environment.

RYAN SANNAR: We practice all of our moves prior to actually doing the

move. We practice outside in the real world because we don't want a kid

to back flip and learn on a mat and then think they can do it in

the real world.

JOE DAVIS: The benefits of Parkour training go well beyond just the

awareness aspects of urban youth. Connecting with the outdoors is a

key component to our mental well-being. When we're cut off from nature

and unable to experience life outside four walls it's easy to become

despondent and withdrawn. Parkour training has given many of these

kids their first chance to delve into the outdoor world, and the

self-assurance to push past their perceived limits.

RYAN SANNAR: It grows their self-confidence. Take Gavin over there.

When he started he wouldn't look you in the eye. Now he's flipping

and doing everything with the other boys. Nothing boosts your

confidence like being able to do a standing back flip.

JOE DAVIS: Even in the West where outdoor recreation is a way of life,

many of us find ourselves trapped between towers of glass and a

commuter train. Once you learn to turn your environment into your

personal playground however, suddenly nothing can stop you; not age,

not walls, not the buildings that hedge you in.

CRYSTAL LIECHTY: He always says parkour is life.

GRIFFIN LIECHTY: Parkour is life!

RYAN SANNAR: If you want to exercise parkour is for you.

If you want to explore parkour is for you. It's out there in the

nature because that's where we began.

JOE DAVIS: Concrete and Steel? Congestion and skyscrapers?

they can't stop you now. From the trailhead, I'm Joe Davis.

Chad: Wow! Rent Utah Toys.com, good reminder! Welcome back to At

Your Leisure. We are down here at the base of Hog Canyon, we have

had a great time up here today kind of exploring and you know it's

kind of fun Ria to be able to show somebody something that haven't

seen before especially when there like an outfitter and a tour guide.

Ria: I know it's exhilarating for everybody. But you know what;

we've got to get back to HQ.

Chad: That's true.

Ria: But, when we do that we want you to take a look at what we've

got dead ahead.

Announcer: Well the next big event we've got coming our way is

December 7th through the 9th in Hurricane Utah, it's called Fury Road.

Fury Road is the ultimate challenge designed for all people skill

levels; drive your rig over an eighty mile course that tours San Hollow

State Park while stopping at checkpoints to race against people in

your class. Each checkpoint will have a different timed challenge

including a rock crawl, rock race course, short sand race course,

winch challenges, remote control car challenge, blind driving and

more! Register now at Fury Road.com. It will be a great event.

Now, for those of you who are waiting to see if you are our lucky

sticker winner for the week, Steve has that for you right now.

Steve: Hey everybody I'm Steve Heumann here, I've got an AYL sticker

on this Jeep. Let's take a look at the license plate number "W292EG"

you are the winner of our camp chef stove. Give us a call at

(801)947-8888. Everybody else, get your AYL stickers and you can win.

Announcer: Remember to get your AYL stickers at any of our sponsors

STEVEN HEUMANN:We're lighting the way to charitable giving next week

on AYL as we showcase one event where you can help others and be

inspired at the same time. Then Reece Stein finds out what's so shocking

about the Provo River, and why these fish are being stunned by the

results. Own the outdoors next week with at your leisure!

CHAD: We've had a great time and we'd like to thank the commissioners

and Rent Utah Toys.

RIA: yeah, they're really friendly and super amazing.

CHAD: There's their phone number right there on the sign and there

is their website. Well like we always say, there's adventure around

every corner so get out there and create your own adventures at your

leisure.
