Waching daily Jan 31 2018

It is exciting. After I retired I just kind of laid back and did what I

had to do and nothing more. I had so much fun the first year that I just wanted to

keep coming back. It's amazing.

You need to get off of your hind end and get out here and see just how

much fun you can have. You can do anything you want to do but you have to

put your mind it. People are great they support you just because you did try.

Oh I'm having a good time, I'm even thinking about for next year.

I think it's really changed me.

That was FUN!

Tree of Hearts / Valentines Day cake idea - Duration: 2:45.

Hey guys this is Veronica and in today's video I'm going to show you how to make

this beautiful cake just in time for Valentine's Day. Remember next week I'll

be bringing you another cake especially for Valentine's. If you need a recipe for

a vanilla cake check out my website behindthecake.com. You're gonna

find that recipe and many more. So let me show you how to make this cake.

I got four layers of cake and I'm gonna start filling and stacking with Swiss Meringue

Buttercream (the recipe you can find it in my blog) go around one time,

this is the second coat. Make sure you have sharp edges and put it in the fridge

Now work (roll) the fondant just until you get that the diameter you're looking for.

I was using a rolling pin and now a pipe this works great!

Place the fondant on top of the cake and we're gonna start attaching it to it.

Like I said this cake was on the fridge so it is attaching very easily because of the

moisture that is condensating from the buttercream. Pull the fondant pleats out

and bring them back with the palm of your hand and attach it to the cake.

You do want to work fast so you don't get elephant skin

but carefully so you don't tear your fondant.

Cut out the excess fondant.

Cut out the heart shapes using different colors of fondant

and let them dry for about an hour to two hours.

To draw the tree branches we're going to be using a thin brush and some edible

airbrush colors and since it is a tree you can draw the branches whatever way

you want this is very organic very natural so don't worry too much on how

it looks anyways is gonna be covered by all the hearts. Now I'm gonna start

adding them with some piping gel just put put it on the back of the hearts

and place them wherever you want attach all the hearts in the direction you want

them kind of like flow from the tree. As a final touch add a pretty ribbon

and you have your cake ready.

To make this cake I used the perfect vanilla cake

recipe you can find it on my blog as well as the recipe for the buttercream

So now you know how to make this cake. If you do like this video please give a

thumbs up, share with your friends and subscribe for more videos like this one

every week. If you want to check out our live videos you know kind of like a

behind the scenes of all these cakes go to our Facebook page.

Thank you and I will see you next week bye

An Introduction to the Basic Die Sets - Duration: 5:51.

hey this is Paije from Mosaic Moments and today I am going to be introducing the

basic die set. Right now you are viewing our color dies and these are available

on our website snapncrop.com. Right now I'm going to walk you through on what

comes in each die set and how you can organize them. Also, don't forget to stay

through the end of the video to watch these dies in action. Let's get started!

Each die comes with an insert similar to this one. This is for die set C. Each

rectangle represents the dies in the package. If you notice, there are solid

rectangles and dot rectangles. The Solid rectangles represent the dies that fit

on our grid paper and the dot rectangles represent the layering dies which are

slightly smaller. Now I'm going to show each die from the color set. This first

one is our one inch grid die and it fits a 4x6 photo. You can create mosaics

quickly without hand cutting each piece.

this blue set is die set A and it's all

squares! We love adding squares to our pages and we know you will too. The

largest die 5 and a half by 5 and a half inches and the smallest measures

1 by 1 inch.

This purple set is die set B. The largest die is perfect for

creating a mat that will fit a whole 4x6 photograph. the largest die measures

4x6 squares on the grid and the smallest measures 1 by 3 squares.

This pink set is

die set C and it's probably the most used to make pages. you will definitely

use these over and over to make fabulous layouts. The largest die fits 5 by 6

squares on the grid and the smallest fits 1 by 2 squares. The last two sets are die

sets D and E the orange and yellow dies these are perfect for creating title

blocks or decorative borders with patterned paper

we recommend organizing your dies on magnetic sheets here we're using the

crafters companion binder we place all the dies that fit the grid on the top

half of the magnetic sheet and we place the layering sizes on the bottom half so

there is less confusion we also recommend using a label maker to

mark each size of the dies now let's watch these dies in action

7 Bronica SQ-Ai Shooting Tips - Duration: 20:36.

Hi guys, I hope everyone is doing great! Anyway, so I was developing

Earlier some film from Chicago. I was scanning some more film from

Some shootings around here in Indiana, and I was also working on the video from San Francisco

That is coming very soon, but I thought that it would be nice for both you and me

to take a little break from all this kind of videos about me shooting outside

and what not, and talk a little bit about gear. so of course when I say gear, I mean my camera the bronica SQ-Ai

As you already know, I got this camera a few months ago, I think it was

It was last June, so eight months ago, but since then I've brought it with me pretty much everywhere. I've gone to the deserts

I've gone to the coast mountains

I've shot it in snow, in sand, in cold weather, in hot weather

It's been my main camera for all my landscape photography. I'm loving it, and I'm pretty sure

I will love it for a long time. I pretty much just realized that

I've already shot some 160 rolls of film with this camera

That's like around 2000 photos. I know that quantity doesn't really matter. It's all about the quality of your photos, but

after shooting two thousand photos with this camera

I think I'm at a point where I know how to use it

I got to know this camera a little bit more than eight months ago. I

Thought that I would talk and I would share with you guys those things that I've been learning

In the in the last few months. of course if you have any questions about this camera or any other camera

I don't know, any question that you think I might be able to answer, please

Leave a comment below, and I'll do my best. OK, so the first one on the list is this one

This is the shutter button of the camera. I don't know if you can see an L

Symbol there. That means locked so the shutter can be in locked

Position and unlocked so when it's locked the shutter button just doesn't work

Unlocked, you can take a photo

It's not taking a photo now because if the dark slide is

In and this is such a nice feature of this camera because I know that there are some other medium format cameras like

some Mamiyas at least, that they'll still try to take the photo when you press the shutter

even if the dark slide is in

So you get just black shots this doesn't happen with this camera

That's very nice, but I'll still recommend you to have the shutter button locked as much as you can

For one reason. You can see here these are

pins electronic

Connectors and there are more here from the film back

you have some more there in the lens oops some more there in the lens and here on the camera body

So all these connectors are there for a reason and it's that this camera

Supports some finders with a light meter built in so that finder looks like this one

I don't have one

But this is very similar to those ones so you look through it and the camera will give you a reading

It will use all those connectors that you just saw. so when the shutter button is locked as you can see nothing happens

But when it's unlocked

You can see the red light

Well, the red light means that the camera is telling you that it can't take a photo for

Some reason in this case the reason is that the dark slide is in

But that red light also means that the camera is taking a reading

using the settings on the lens and using the settings on the

ISO from the film back, and it's trying to give the finder

But the finder with the light meter built in

The reading that is taking from all these elements so that means that if you put this camera in a backpack or your camera bag

And for some reason this shutter button gets depressed like all the time like something gets stuck here

It's gonna be trying to meter all the time and that will

drain your battery so

While it might not be a big deal because you're not gonna waste any shots, as long as you have the dark slide in

you should try to keep the shutter button in

Locked position as much as you can so you avoid draining your battery. Talking about the battery, I got this camera off

eBay, as I said eight months ago, and I haven't changed the batteries yet

So it's still running, and I've shot like two thousand photos

I don't know if the batteries were like brand-new or they were used

For two years, for two months... I have no idea, but they are still going. It's pretty great battery life

Okay, tip number two this other switch here. I hope you can see it

That's the mirror lock-up switch as you can see it has three positions. I hope you can see it

N, S and C so when you turn this to S or C what that will do is

move the mirror up and lock it there in position

So this is a feature that many cameras have, just imagine you are on the tripod composing your photo you have

the camera in the right position, right settings... so what you do

Then when everything is ready to take the photo

you move the mirror up and you lock it. that way when you take the photo, when you press the shutter button, the mirror

doesn't move, it doesn't hit the camera so the camera doesn't shake, so it doesn't create like blurry or soft images

So this is a very useful feature that I use all the time when I take long exposures

So if you're gonna have the camera like for I don't know one second or two seconds

You don't want that slight, or small vibration to ruin your long exposure

So you wanna lock your mirror up using this

But you wanna be very careful with this switch

Why? Because it has happened to me many times like at least between five and ten times already that I'm trying to put this

camera in the bag and something gets stuck here

And it moves the mirror or it moves the switch to S or C and that causes the mirror to to move up

And then... I don't know, maybe it's possible, but I haven't found a way to

To move the mirror back down so you can still take the photo

But you can't see what you are taking because the mirror is up

So it's not reflecting the light from the lens, so you can't really see anything from the finder

What you have to do in that case: you have to wind the film and you waste a shot

That's what happened to me 5 or 10 times. if you guys know a way to

To put the mirror back down without wasting a shot, please let me know I've read the manual

It doesn't say anything about that

I don't know, maybe I'll tape the switch, so it doesn't move, but I'm still using it so I don't know what to do about it

number three oh, yeah, if you don't have one

Please buy a waist level finder if you don't have one

Please buy a prism finder. what I'm trying to say is: have both types of

Finder. you see, they are very useful in very different scenarios. as you might already know

the waist level finder opens that way, so you can compose the photo looking from above

so you have your camera lower and you can look through here it has even has a

Magnifier here, and this is very very useful. I take 90% of my photos using this finder

It's very useful when you have the your camera on the tripod, or you are trying to compose a lower shot

As I said, 90% of my shots are taken with this finder. the only problem with this finder

Is that they are really expensive! I bought this one from eBay like for around 100 bucks

And I think that they are going now for like

150 or even more than that. That is crazy, that is crazy, because it's nothing. it's just a piece of

Plastic and some metal it doesn't have anything special to it

So I don't really know why, maybe there are not too many of them, but I still don't regret it

I regret not getting it earlier than I did

But I still recommend having this finder, the prism finder, because it will give you or it will be useful to you in

Many other scenarios like for example if you place your tripod on a higher place

Or you have to, I don't know

you have like a fence or something that you're trying to avoid so your camera is higher

You need this, because if you have the waist-level finder

It's gonna be really hard to get above the camera to compose your photo. also to shoot like from

I don't know, say trains or a car

if you want to shoot through the window you need a finder like this. it's not gonna work with the

waist level finder. while I don't use it as often as the other one

I still use it, and I think it's very useful to have. and these are cheaper, too

I think that you should be able to find them for like fifty or sixty bucks

they make the camera a little bit bulkier as you can see, it's bigger and heavier, but

Not very terrible. Alright, I think this is the fourth tip and

This is an important one: so if you shoot black and white, you should.... no, you must

Get some color filters. as you can see I have an orange filter right now on this lens

I have it there almost all the time now because I just realized how much of a difference this filter makes in my photos

But I have more than just that orange filter. I bought I bought this set from Amazon

I believe they are like 25 bucks or 30 bucks. They are a bunch of them they have

oops

They have many colors like this one yellow. I don't use them

I just use the orange and sometimes the red one, but they have like blue, green, brown

grey, many colors that you can play with and

experiment if you want

But I use the orange and the red filter because they are the ones that

Give me the results I want. I also have these ones the box is kind of falling apart, but

These filters are from Lee they are only four of them

These colors here that you can see. Again, I only use the orange and the red ones

These are a little bit more expensive

I think there are 60 bucks for the four of them

But as you can see they are bigger

and they are square so they fit in my Lee mount so I can use them with my

ND filters when I'm taking a long exposure. I'm still learning how to use these filters

But you can play, you can use your digital camera as I said in earlier

Videos and play with them. The effect is not going to be a hundred percent accurate, but it will give you

95% of it

And it will give you a very good idea of what they do to your

film photos - I will be making videos about this kind of stuff from very very soon because

it's something that I'm very interested in and I

Have many videos in mind that are coming soon

but for now let me give you a very quick example of

What a photo with and without the orange filter looks like. so I took this shot a few weeks ago in Monument Valley

Awesome place by the way - totally recommended to go there - but yet you can't tell from here because it's a black-and-white photo

But the rock was red

red-ish

Brownish some kind of orange

Tones going on there and the sky was blue

So as you can see the photo kinda reflects that the rock was a little bit darker

The sky was pretty bright, and yeah, this is what the photo looks like without any kind of filters

compare that to this other one that I took like 30 seconds after the other one

Using an orange filter as you can see now the orange filter let

All the red and brown and orange light coming from the rock pass

But as you can see the blue from the sky got partially, at least partially, blocked by the orange filter

Making it much darker than it was in reality. so as you can see these two photos

And one of them was taken right after the other one

They look like they were taken at very different lighting conditions very different times of the day

And they were not, so this is an example of what you can do with filters

It doesn't mean that the filter is gonna make the photo better

But it's another tool that you can have to be creative with your photography

Maybe you don't like the sky darker. That's totally fine

Maybe you can use some blue filter, so you can make the sky even brighter if you want

you can play with your filters and be creative with them and

Yeah, black and white photography is pretty awesome. I love it

I know that people are in love with color because that's the way we see life every day

But that's the reason why I love black-and-white photography. I need to talk about this too. but anyway, black-and-white photography and these kind of filters

Let you be

Very very creative with your photography, so I recommend you to get these cheap filters from amazon or anywhere

It doesn't really matter and just play with them. You don't have to take photos with them with film

These are pretty cheap so the build quality is not the best, the image quality might suffer a little bit

But you know, I don't really care too much about that

I care more about the effect that they create

and the story they can tell or they can help me to tell, and you can play with them with a

Digital camera even with your phone, it will work

Just set your phone or digital camera to take photos in black and white and you'll see a preview of those effects in real time

All right, so I've been talking for a while and I still have three more tips to give you guys

I'm gonna speed up just a little bit if you have any questions, please ask

And I'm gonna be making more videos about this, and I'm gonna be talking about more

in detail about

Some of these things for example this thing that I'm going to talk about now. one of the reasons why I got the SQ-Ai

model

Over the SQ-A model. Well, it's lighter.

Supposedly. And the other reason is because it has BULB mode.

but it says B here, so you already know what BULB mode is but

that means that the camera is gonna take the photo for as long as you have the shutter button pressed the

problem with the BULB mode in this camera though

Is that it will use your battery and that might be fine if you are taking exposures of

Just one to even four seconds or even a little bit longer

But if you're taking exposures like I do sometimes up to 40 minutes or four hours or whatever

That will drain your battery in no time so you can imagine how disappointed

I was when I first got this camera and I find out about

That flaw or that weakness

I mean, I switched to film and now I have to deal with these kind of

electronic stuff when other cameras like the Hasselblad, they are purely

Mechanical so you can just leave them open as long as you want

and it doesn't use battery because they don't have battery but

Thankfully there is a way to fix this. the lenses I have they are Zenzanon PS

So I don't know if the older lenses, they are just regular S

Have this mode or not I have no idea. I'm sorry, but my lenses have this mode that is called T

Mode I don't know if you can see it

It says A, so if you pull this down

and

You move this switch

Here it says T

Now so when you press the shutter button while you have this mode on on your lens

You don't have to keep pressing your shutter button just have to press it once and the lens will stay open until you move this switch

Back like that. meaning it will not be using your battery, so I can have the lens or the shutter open for

4 hours, 40 hours,

40 years, it doesn't really matter because the camera will not be using your battery

When you have the T mode on so the downside to this

is of course that you have to touch the lens it will move the camera so if your

exposure is gonna be say between 2, 4

Even 16 seconds use the shutter speed here

Just use battery the camera will do it for you

but if you are taking longer exposures, say 7 minutes or even 2 or 3 minutes a little vibration at the end of the

exposure just

Putting this switch back to A mode it will not matter so yeah

Once again if you are taking long exposures use the T mode on your lens if your lens has it

Please let me know if the older Zenzanon S lenses have that mode

I'm not really sure, I'm sorry about that, but if your lens has that mode and you are taking long exposures

use it. I strongly suggest you to buy

two film backs, to have two film backs. at least two. I have two and they are more than enough for me

But you might need more depending on your use case. It's been very handy to have 2 backs because sometimes I'm out

There and it's very cold or even

It's snowing or raining or whatever and you are out of film here

you have to load more film have to take the roll out of here and put another one, a new one in and

You can't do that all the time if it's so cold that you can't even feel your fingers

Or it's snowing and raining

You don't want to deal with that stuff because it's gonna get wet

So that's when the second film back comes in play, you already have

Film here loaded so switching them is just

very easy. and the last one is pretty silly but

Just use this other switch here on the lens. I think that every lens has this even in digital

SLRs, but, this is the

Depth of field preview like this Minolta camera has the same button here

Yeah, the Rolleiflex doesn't have it so yeah. It's pretty common and I'm pretty sure that most of you already know what this is about and

You already use it, but for me, and maybe other people like me coming from a mirrorless camera

I was shooting an a7ii - when I switched to this

back to film so I didn't know that this lens was going to have this depth of field preview

and it's been pretty awesome

So what this does is that it closes the aperture of the lens, the blades

To whatever aperture you have here, like for example here. It would close it to f/8 so you can preview

How your exposure is gonna look, the depth of your photo, meaning

you can see how blurry the background is gonna be or

Whatever these lenses use the widest aperture in this case 2.8 to focus so it's more accurate

But that doesn't mean that what you are seeing is what you're gonna get when you press the shutter button

because the depth of field is gonna change when it

It closes the lens down to whatever aperture you have here. pretty handy

Switch is a pretty silly tip but coming from a Sony camera this has been very useful

And that's it. I hope this doesn't end up being a super long video, and I hope that it helped

Someone if I helped one person I would be very happy, and yeah, I'll be making more videos like this,

because you know it's fun to talk about the camera gear that I use pretty much every day and

To share the things that I've learned with you guys. I hope that if you have any other tips

About this camera or film in general you can give them to me too, so we all can learn from each other

That's all I have for today

Please let me know if you have any questions or please let me know if you hate this kind of content

You don't wanna hear me talking about the camera. You only want to see photos and videos that's totally fine

Just let me know what you think and yeah, thanks for watching and see you in the next one

Stasis, How Long Can a Human Sleep? - Duration: 5:49.

Shhh captain the crew is sleeping

Hyper-sleep, Cryosleep or Stasis is an omnipresent technology in Sci Fi, and dates back to the

first manifestations of the genre.

It is as widely and interchangeably used as other common technological tropes like androids

or laser guns

For those born yesterday the principle of hyper-sleep is quite simple: it is the artificial

suspension of a living subject in long-distance interstellar trips.

It can last for years, or decades, even, preventing crew members from wasting resources and large

portions of their lifespan on travel, as it somehow freezes you in time with no apparent

sign of the months that pass by

But why has hyper-sleep been so extensively adopted?

Why is it a more common solution to the problematics of space travel than hyper-speed, space jump

or teleportation?

Well, among other things, stasis of different kinds have always been really useful narrative

devices.

Following Freytag's pyramid of dramatic structure: exposition, rising action, climax,

falling action and denouement; hyper-sleep provides of a static state of normality, a

perfect time-based process, an expositive situation in which we are presented with the

characters and their circumstances before something happens.

Because yes, we all know that going into those glossy hi-tech coffins, usually is a pretty

bad idea.

But, well, this video is not about how hyper-sleep pods tend to be a trainwreck or have outlandish

design issues.

In 1942 84% of Americans reported getting 7 hours or more of sleep a day, that percentage

decreased to 59% in 2013

Even thought a lack of sleep can make us more likely to suffer from hypertension, diabetes,

depression or obesity…

Historically efficient figures like Leonardo or Margaret Tatcher famously slept less than

4 hours a day.

Nevertheless, research published by the Sleep Medicine Reviews questions if those numbers

are actually representative of a change in our sleep routines.

We might think and say we sleep less than what we actually do, because it signals that

we have more things to do, better things to do, and the willpower to actually do those

things.

Whereas technology's purpose is to save us time to rest and enjoy, we want to use

its last developments to help us sleep less.

As the philosopher Bertrand Russell stated in essay "In Praise Of Idleness"

We dont want to spend a 3rd of our lives being unproductive, when ideally production should

be left to machines.

This same peculiar logic translates to hypersleep and its circumstances.

There's no way to be productive when floating in space for years, hypersleep it is not a

holy state of meditational contemplation, but a purely practical manner to keep the

crew healthy, silent and on hold till it's time to do their job or colonize a new planet.

It is remarkable too, that the fictional universes in which hypersleep is common are the ones

that maintain an economical structure similar to ours, with corporate interstellar conglomerates

as the Weyland Corp from the Alien franchise, or the Homestead Company from Passengers whereas

it isn't as present in money-less futures like the ones from Star Trek.

I believe there's a hidden potential in the astral passiveness of hypersleep booths.

Beyond how our utilitarian vision of sleep permeates fiction, that strongly resonates with the

philosophy of non-doing or wu wei, so beautifully expressed in the tao te ching:

The Tao does nothing, but leaves nothing undone.

If the powerful men could observe it,

all creations would be transformed by themselves.

I sort of see it when Ripley goes into hypersleep closing the first Alien movie, posing the

question…

What if sleep wasn't seen as a waste of time or a necessity in order to be healthy,

what if we could just close our eyes and stay there… for years

Hey dear human, sleep, productivity and passiveness are fascinating topics, I'll leave some

interesting links and references down below, and I'll see you soon with a new video,

thanks for watching and as Captain Disillusion always says: Love with your heart, use your

head for everything else

Sadhguru, have you experienced God? - Duration: 3:28.

come to sociologist professor at I stood up social scientist Ashwin Kumar my

first query query I'm sharing a query with you and then a question in the

larger context have you experienced God which good a

couple I don't know I'm asking you I don't know but you know I come from the

land of two Karanka B and so I don't know who is the god I'm asking you let

me tell you this much a lot of people think this is a title but this is a

description when you call someone and said kuru what it means is that you

don't go to him because you want to understand your scripture because he is

not ready you don't go to him because you want to

go to heaven because he has not been there and he is not interested in going

there

sadhguru literally means one who comes from within I know this piece of life

from its origin to its ultimate and that's all I know

if it's sounding like a confession I'm sorry this is all I know I know this

piece of life in its entirety this not even that so sad because I know this and

the nature of creation is such today there is a scientific theory coming up

which is called as constructional theory what they're trying to prove is how the

atom is made that is how the cosmos is made how a single cell is made that is

how every life is made how an amoeba is made that's how you are made just the

complexity and sophistication is multiplying that's how this is something

we have said it forever in the yogic sciences underpin and are seem the my

new test minuscule of creation and the ultimate creation are same in

fundamental design only complexity and sophistication is multiplying so if you

know this people think you know everything that is their problem I don't

know everything I don't know any heaven or hell I know this I know this piece of

life entirely fortunately because you're also piece of life and you're also just

made like me if I talk about myself you think I'm talking about you if I talk

about myself you think I'm talking about the cosmos if I talk about myself people

think I'm talking about God because these are all their interpretations I am

only talking about myself because that's the only thing I know

This Is Why You Need To Stop Using Vaseline! - Healthy Wealthy - Duration: 4:26.

Stop using Vaseline

You probably have a jar of Vaseline buried somewhere in your medicine cabinet

Millions of people swear by it as a remedy for chapped lips congestion diaper rash and dry skin

Unfortunately the popular product is more harmful than many realize

What is petroleum jelly

Petroleum jelly commonly known by the brand name Vaseline is a byproduct of the oil refining process it

Was originally found coating the bottom of oil rigs in the mid-1800s as a byproduct of the oil industry?

It's an unsustainable resource and far from eco-friendly

How does it work

Used in everything from lotions to baby products petroleum. Jelly works by creating a protective barrier on the skin to hold in moisture

The waterproof barrier it creates on the skin blocks pores and can lock in residue and bacteria

When used on a burn or a sunburn it locks in heat and can block the body's ability to heal

That's not all

You need to stop using Vaseline for these four reasons

One it contains harmful hydrocarbons

The skin is unable to metabolize petroleum jelly so it sits as a barrier on the skin until it wears off

this blocks the body from gaining any benefit from the substance a

2011 study found strong evidence that the mineral oil hydrocarbons Vaseline contains are the greatest contaminant of the human body

- it promotes collagen breakdown

Due to the barrier that petroleum jelly creates on the skin it blocks. The skin's ability to breathe and absorb nutrients

This can cause the skin to pull the moisture and nutrients it needs from within leading to college and breakdown

3 it can lead to estrogen dominance

estrogen dominance occurs when the body has high levels of estrogen and low levels of progesterone

It has been linked to infertility menstrual problems allergies and autoimmune problems

Petroleum jelly contains chemicals called xenoestrogens, which are believed to increase estrogen problems?

for it can cause pneumonia

Although rare a condition known as lipid pneumonia can occur when small amounts of petroleum. Jelly are inhaled and build up in the lungs

Because the body can't metabolize or break down the substance a severe inflammation in the lungs can occur

natural alternatives to Vaseline

There are several natural alternatives to petroleum jelly that you can use without worrying about health risks if

You're looking for a simple alternative try one of these options

Che better hide in vitamins 8 E. And F. Shea butter works to nourish the skin through the beneficial fatty acids it contains

Are You a Hip Hiker? Exercise to provide release for tight QL - Duration: 1:01.

So we're gonna do a QL or a quadratus lumborum stretch.

So you're going to lie down on your mat

and have a chair close by that you can put your legs up onto.

And you're going to take - I've got a blue spiky ball -

I like the Alpha Ball from Yoga Tune Up.

And you're going to place that

in between

the top of the pelvis

and the bottom of the ribs,

so in that meaty part of your back waist.

And then you're just going to...

hang out.

So, a tight QL can contribute to

hip hiking or imbalance in the pelvis.

It can also be seen with a tight psoas muscle.

And those both can contribute to

some...

challenges with the pelvic floor. It could be tightness.

It could be imbalance or pulling, rotations, that type of thing.

So when we can get more length in the front here

and release that tension in the QLand in the psoas,

we'll be better off. So enjoy your QL stretch.

San Francisco 49ers Draft Needs 2018 (Part 2) - Duration: 8:19.

Ayo! It's Bryan here. Today, going to be talking about the San Francisco 49ers

and going to be talking about the NFL Draft needs for the 49ers this year

coming in April or May. I don't know when it's going to happen, but it's going to happen

soon enough, but let's just dive into it. But before I get this video started,

hmm got this hat right here. I think I wore this a long time ago. Kind of

found it in my house in Charlotte. So decided to wear right now. I don't know

why, but got to give it a little change of scenery right here for me and I guess

for you guys as well. So hope you guys enjoy and let's just get into it.

Now the 49ers, they did a pretty good job near the end of season. I think you all

know summary yay, yay, yay. Jimmy Garoppolo, savior for the 49ers. No quarterback is needed

for this draft anymore. We don't look for Baker Mayfield or Josh Rosen or all

those other quarterbacks from this year's draft and what have you.

I'm not a fan of any of the quarterbacks to be honest with you. Now, we got Jimmy

Garoppolo and CJ Beathard as our quarterbacks. We don't have to worry

about that position. That position is no longer in need and I'm happy to say that.

No free agency, no draft. This time, the 49ers can focus on stuff to improve

around Jimmy Garoppolo and the defense as well because they can use a little

bit of help and I think with this draft and free agency, I think it's going to

really elevate the 49ers into playoff contenders potentially.

I don't know exactly, but I feel like with this roster right now; the way they were playing in 2017.

If they can keep it up, they can definitely make the playoffs for 2018.

So let's go. Alright, so the top three needs for the 49ers in my opinion are interior

lineman, wide receiver and defensive end. I think those are the three biggest

needs for the 49ers right now in the draft.

I think interior lineman is number one in my opinion because Brian Hoyer, CJ

Beathard before, they were getting beat up like crazy, especially CJ Beathard.

I felt really bad for him. I think one game I don't remember which one, but I think got

sacked like four or five times. I felt very, very bad for him. Man, gosh.

Jimmy Garoppolo didn't take the big beating as much. Maybe Jimmy Garoppolo was able to

take the ball faster; was able to avoid the sacks and avoid the pressure and

what-have-you. So I guess there's a little experience right there.

CJ Beathard hopefully, everything goes well for him whenever he needs to play.

I still think offensive lineman is still a big need for the 49ers just in case.

So I don't get my man, our golden boy Mr. handsome, Jimmy Garoppolo. A lot of people like to

call him handsome for some reason. He is a handsome guy. Nothing right there, but you

know what I mean. I don't want him to get beat up and I'm pretty sure nobody in

Niner Nation wants him to get beat up because that would be so unfortunate if

he gets injured next season and I don't think it's going to happen, but you never

know, In today's NFL, everyone's getting injured like crazy.

I mean Odell Beckham, JJ Watt. All these good stars end up going out during the middle of the season.

Injuries happen. It's the NFL. That kind of sucks. So offensive lineman,

it looks really good I would say. It's better in the last season, in the last

couple of games than it was in the beginning of the season. Joe Staley, Trent

Brown always a freaking beast, even though Joe Staley is getting up there in age.

If we can fix the interior lineman, then I think we should be set on

offensive lineman. I might talk about free agents that might help the 49ers in

the offensive linemen position and other position needs in another video, but

right now, I'm just going to be talk about the draft and position needs in particular.

So offensive linemen, always crucial. No offensive linemen, no help

because you can just ask I don't know. Uh... I don't know what the bad team is, but you

can ask what right now? I guess the Dallas Cowboys.

They're pretty good. I mean they're not as good as a couple years ago. They had some injuries.

Tyron Smith, but when they're out there, man. They're out there.

That offensive lineman is just freaking big and freaking destructive right there I would say.

Offensive linemen, a big need for the 49ers. Alright, let's get into the next one.

The next one I would say is wide receiver. Now I'm going to be changing

this a little bit. I don't think we need to look for a number, number one receiver right now.

I think Marquise Goodwin can be a number one receiver under Jimmy Garoppolo.

If this was another quarterback, I would not say Marquise Goodwin

is a number one receiver. I'd say he's a deep threat. Maybe almost number

one, but he's a number two receiver in my opinion for any team. With Jimmy Garoppolo,

he could be number one receiver for him and Pierre Garcon, he was injured.

He never got to play on the Jimmy Garoppolo. I don't think he did. He's going to be

coming back to 2018 I think. I don't think there's anything crazy, any trades

or whatever; but assuming Pierre Garcon comes back, which I think he will, it's

going to be even better. Jimmy Garoppolo the talent that he work with. I mean it's not

the best talent that the 49ers have this year, but next year, they're going to be even

better in my opinion with him, Marquise Goodwin, Pierre Garcon,

Trent Taylor, Victor Bolden Jr. I hope he gets more time. I think he was injured unfortunately.

Hopefully, he gets more playing time. I think with a full

offseason with Kyle Shanahan's offense and the way it's going to expand even more.

Because last year, he didn't really get a chance to expand on the playbook

because he only had a couple of games. He didn't really have no time to warm up

I guess you can say for the whole season because he was

on the bench with New England. With everything, with all the offseason stuff

and programs and training camp, I think this core is going to be even better.

You got the running backs of course. Carlos Hyde, he's a free agent, but I

think they're going to be signed him eventually. Joe Williams, he's out there waiting.

He's on IR from last year. So that should be able to work out. Matt Breida,

Raheem Mostert. I think he's a free agent as well, but I think he's a

restricted free agent. It's a weird situation with Mostert, but it's going to be

really exciting to see this offense going together and also George Kittle.

Really good tight end. Emerging as a good tight end for the 49ers right now.

I'm just really excited this offense. I mean the past couple years, I have not been

excited for the offense with Blaine Gabbert, Colin Kaepernick.

It's been pretty stale. I got to blame the coaches for all that, Jim Tomsula and Geep Chryst.

Very bad. Chip Kelly, couldn't really get anything going. I've kind of feel bad for

him, but couldn't really get anything going. Kyle Shanahan, he just needs the

right quarterback and he finally has his quarterback. So he can unleash his

playbook like he did in Atlanta and it should be great time. Hopefully, he can

replicate the offense like he did in Atlanta, except Super Bowl time near the

end, but I think it can work out. Wide receiver, not a dominant, dominant

receiver, but someone that we can rely on in third down situations maybe and

another target along with Marquise Goodwin and Pierre Garcon. I think it's going to

work out really well. Got another target for Garoppolo and it should be

even better in my opinion. Offensive line and wide receiver on the offensive side of

the ball, I think it should work out. Now defensive end, I think that's a big need.

At first, I was like eh. Got these young guys, Solomon Thomas and what have you.

Trying to emerge as a great defensive end, but you know. I'm looking at the sack total.

They were I think in the middle of the pack. A little bit lower echelons in the

NFL in terms of sacks by the defense. Hopefully, they can get some more.

They need to get a dominant, dominant pass rusher and one person I do like from the

draft this year is I think Bradley Chubb from NC State. That guy looks like a

fricking stud and it'd be really cool if we can get with a 9th or 10th pick, but I

think he's going to be gone way then and it'd be nice to try it out for him.

I would actually trade up for him to be honest with you. I really like this guy

from NC State. So if they can get him, that's great. But if not, then they can

focus on something else. Defensive end, got to get the sack totals up.

Got to pressure the quarterback even more. That's really pretty much it for all

these draft needs. Wide receiver, interior lineman, defensive end. I think if they

can get all that together from agency and the draft in particular, then I

think they'll be fine and I would say defensive back, but literally, the last

couple of weeks, they've emerged as a great defensive backfield I would say.

Adrian Colbert, Eric Reid. From linebacker, back to I think free safety now.

It looks really good. I mean Eric Reid kind of struggled for the past season or two.

I mean he wasn't like his 2013 rookie season Pro Bowl from. Now he's looking

like that guy again. Hopefully, he can stay away from the concussions because he's

had some concussions issues early on in his career. I think he had two in his rookie season.

That was pretty unfortunate, but what can you do right

and I think Dontae Johnson's on the other side. NC state guy as well.

I'm liking this backfield right now. I think it's a lot better than it was in the

first couple of weeks of the season and some rotation changes were from Robert

Saleh, boom! Not too bad at all. Not too bad.

So I'm not really concerned about the defensive backfield, although it would be

nice to get some depth as always for the defensive backfield or any other

position that the 49ers need. But those three positions that I mentioned are the

biggest needs that they should be addressing in the first couple of rounds

from one to three in my opinion and in free agency as well. I like the draft more

than free agency. I'm not a big fan of free agency as much as the draft

because hey, you have to overpay people in free agency to get what you want.

Sometimes, they don't even fit your system. Sometimes, they're not the best

players at all. They're not the way that they were before in the other team.

Not the biggest fan of free agency, but maybe it can work out. That's going to be pretty

much it you guys. Please let me know what you guys draft needs are for the 49ers.

Are they the same as mine? Are they different? You guys have something else

on your mind? Do you guys agree with me? All that cool stuff. Please comment below.

draft because the draft is the most exciting part of the year in the

offseason. I'll talk to you guys later. Bye guys, Love y'all!

The Throat Chakra, How to Open Your Throat Chakra - TribeFinder - Duration: 4:36.

The Throat Chakra

The Sanskrit name for the throat chakra is Vishuddha. This chakra is associated with the thyroid,

throat, and the voice. While it is important for all of our chakras to be open and balanced,

the throat is what allows us to speak our truth. Vishuddha is often referred to as the

seat of communication and expression.

The color you'll see associated with the throat chakra is sky blue or turquoise. The

throat chakra is located at the base of the throat and is associated with the laryngeal

plexus and the carotid plexus. It's activation point is found in the middle of the throat.

The throat chakra is linked to the neck, ears, jaws, teeth, mouth, trachea, vocal cords,

thyroid gland, cervical vertebrae, shoulders, and esophagus.

The gland most frequently associated with the throat is the thyroid gland. The thyroid

is the butterfly-shaped gland found in the lower neck below the Adam's apple. Located

in front of the trachea, it has two sides that are bridged in the middle. This gland

is rich in blood vessels and nerves and regulates important bodily hormones. The thyroid governs

our metabolism, growth, and development. The throat chakra allows us to speak our truth

and give vocal energy to our dreams and desires.

According to Anodea Judith, the throat chakra is activated between ages eight and twelve.

The Hindu system teaches us that activation occurs between ages twenty-eight and thirty-five.

Hindu belief also states that the throat chakra is activated during a time when we are motivated

by the expression of divine wisdom and higher knowledge.

When your throat chakra has experienced trauma, it can contribute to several health concerns.

The myriad of concerns include brochitis, mouth ulcers, thyroid dysfunctions, and laryngitis.

Trauma to the throat chakra can also manifest in a person as ear infections, hearing problems,

unhealthy teeth, and even temporomandibular joint disorders.

If your throat chakra is closed or depleted, you may be experiencing throat conditions,

an under-active thyroid, teeth grinding, and the fear of speaking. In the event that your

throat chakra is too open, you will be in a state of excess. During this time, you will

be prone to gossiping, stuttering, loudness, lack of consideration, and engaging in compulsive

behaviors such as overeating.

A developed Vishuddha chakra helps us wrestle with the psychological issues of faith, decision

making, expression, creativity, and the things we choose to vocalize or hold onto. This is

our communication center where we learn to state our truth with dignity, respect, and

kindness. If we speak lies and falsehoods, our throat chakra can become unbalanced and

we may experience repressed anger, silence, or evasiveness.

A well-balanced Vishuddha chakra allows you to express your creative side. You will communicate

positively with those around you and listen consciously. You will feel a strong sense

of ease and contentment when this chakra is balanced. If you feel that your throat chakra

is unbalanced, spend some time singing. So set aside any self-judgment. Sing along with

the radio, in the shower, or to your kids as they go to sleep. Another great way to

keep this chakra in a balanced state is to drink plenty of water.
