Why You Should Not Sleep With Your Phone In The Bed

14 year old dies in her sleep: When cause of death is revealed, my heart breaks.

People have become very attached and dependent on their smartphones.

What used to be a simple device to help us stay connected to our friends and family has

become our entire world.

Photos, messages, videos and more live on these small devices, and they become an extension

of ourselves.

When was the last time you went out without taking your phone with you?

It's the last thing we put down and the first thing we pick up in the morning, which

did not seem like a big deal until now.

One night 14-year-old Le ThiXoan plugged in her phone before bed, and kept it next to

her while she slept, which was her everyday routine.

The next morning her mother tried calling for her to get out of bed, but she never received

an answer.

After several tries, she went to her daughter's room to check why she was not responding but

found her lying unconscious in bed.

Her parents rushed her to the emergency room, but she was announced dead on arrival.

Her parents were in complete disbelief and had no idea how this could have happened.

Their daughter did not have any preexisting health conditions and it was clear that it

was not suicide.

So when they discovered the cause, they were stunned.

The autopsy report revealed that their daughter had died of an electric shock, according to

the Daily Mail.

Their parents did not understand since everything looked normal at home – until they lifted

her bed covers.

They found Le This is phone charger lying under her blanket.

Although it was plugged into the phone it was not charging, and they saw that the part

of the cable closest to the phone was completely burnt.

The parents explained that their daughter charged her phone every night and kept her

phone in bed with her.

The police investigated the scene further and saw that the phone plastic cover had a

piece of tape placed over it, which resulted in the shock right as she plugged in her phone.

It is extremely dangerous to charge your phone with a broken cable.

It's better to be safe than sorry.

NEVER sleep with your phone in your bed, especially if your charger is broken.

Do what you can to get the charger replaced immediately and keep yourself safe.

If you found this video helpful, then please click SHARE so your friends and family can

know about the dangers of using broken charging cables!

The Worst Foods to Eat at Night - Duration: 4:49.

The Worst Foods to Eat at Night

We're often unable to fall asleep due to feelings of heaviness caused by eating hard-to-digest foods, robbing us of the rest we need to start a new day.

In this article, we'll show you some of the worst foods you can eat at night.

Your daily diet is directly related to your health.

A proper diet guarantees your overall well-being; therefore it's important to know what foods to eat and in what quantities to avoid irreversible damage to our body.

There are many nutritious foods that are necessary for the proper functioning of the body, but it's absolutely vital to consume them at the right times of day.

The functions of the body vary throughout the day, so it's important to know what to eat and when.

Foods that you should avoid before going to sleep.

Pasta, in any form, should be avoided during the evening hours because it will be converted into fat during digestion, causing heaviness and raising blood sugar levels, leading to insomnia and robbing you of rest.

Cereal is mistakenly referred to as a light meal, but keep in mind that cereals are high in sugar, keeping you from sleeping deeply at night.

If you're going to eat cereal before bed, choose one that's high in fiber and low in sugar.

You can also try adding a little fruit.

Avoid heavily seasoned foods, especially those with garlic or spices of any kind.

These types of foods can cause acid reflux, impeding digestion and keeping you from a good night's sleep.

Chocolate contains nutrients that improve mood and energize the body, decreasing the need for rest.

When you eat ice cream at night, it's converted into fat, causing weight gain.

In addition, the high fat and sugar content will slow digestion and increase brain activity, keeping you up.

High fat foods, like those fried in oil, are likely to cause sleep disturbances because they're heavy and difficult to digest.

For deep and restful sleep, the body needs to relax from the day's activities.

We recommend avoiding high protein foods in the evening because they increase energy and discourage rest.

It's no secret that caffeine is one of the main causes of sleeplessness.

Many people don't know that caffeine remains in the body for 8 to 10 hours, energizing and keeping us alert.

Even though alcohol helps you fall asleep faster, it has a negative effect on sleep quality, altering the circadian rhythm and interrupting sleep.

Red meat is full of proteins and fat which are difficult to break down, which keeps the body busy digesting them.

Eating these types of foods at night can cause stomach discomfort like cramps and spasms, preventing you from getting a restful night's sleep.

We recommend avoiding the above mentioned foods for at least two hours before bedtime.

At night, the body doesn't require food because it is at rest and doesn't need the energy for activities.

At the end of the day, it's always important to make sure you've set enough time aside to get a minimum of eight hours of sleep because during this time the body is recharging and cleansing itself of toxins.

JUSTIN: Social media is one of the more important ways

to get your message out into the world.

But it's more than just

an announcement system or a bulletin board.

Social media is a way of storytelling and weaving

a narrative about your church and your community.

Some of the things that you can do with social media as a church

is talk about your community members,

interview them, see their lives,

see how they interact with one another,

talk about the activities that they're holding in the church,

talk about all of the good things that

you're doing as a church organization,

whether you're feeding the hungry, having a church picnic

or running vacation Bible school.

All of these things come together to paint a picture of

what your church is, who you are and what you're all about.

You should be participating in as many social networks as you

can based on the target demographics that you have.

You might be trying to reach the youth in your community.

If so, you should consider platforms like Instagram,

Snapchat and Facebook.

If you're trying to reach a more adult crowd

you might try things like Facebook Groups,

LinkedIn Groups, or Twitter.

You could also use an amalgamation of all of these

networks to reach as far ranging as possible.

If you're into interactive media you can create

compelling stories using platforms like YouTube

and live streaming video is one of the

most popular forms of media today.

Trying experimenting with things like Facebook Live,

YouTube Live and Twitch.tv.

All of these allow you to give a behind the scenes look

of what's going on in your community, whether that's

the service itself, an event that's happening

in a local school, or something like a food drive,

a charity auction, or anything else that might give

a little bit of an idea as to the good outreach things

that you're doing inside of the community as a whole.

Social media is a lot more than just a mouthpiece for

announcing what you had for breakfast or where you're

going to be doing a certain thing at a certain time.

It's about making sure that everybody

understands your message.

Again, we want to go beyond the physical doors of our church

and reach out into the sanctuary of the digital world.

So, if you haven't gotten started with social media yet,

now is the time to start.

And we've got lots of tools to help you do that right here.

So we hope you'll join us as we get started

with this digital fellowship initiative.

Who Do You Want to See in Dragon Ball Super Movie - Duration: 2:55.

Hello and welcome back all my dragon ball theorist reading over a lot of comments there

has been mention of I hope Gohan or Jiren or Hit are in the new Dragon Ball Super Movie.

So this video is to ask you who do you want to see the most in the DBS movie and why?

Is there anyone they should definitely leave out?

I think a lot of Dragon Ball fans are wondering where is Gohan!!?

That is a good question and in a movie about Saiyans you would hope for him to have more

then just a cameo appearance.

I actually would be a little disappointed if Gohan and Piccolo didn't get in on the

fight against Broly.

Kinda of a nostalgic type of thing.

However there has been hints that Gohan would someday work on a transformation

that no one has seen.

So there is so much open endedness for Gohan as a character and after coming up short in

the tournament even though he played a big roll with Picollo.

( I know some might disagree ) I hope that Gohan's fighting spirits are in full swing

and he is fired up just like Goku to attain more power and fight new enemies.

I also would like to see Piccolo get some character work as it is time for an upgrade

there.

With the Namekian books revealing a ritual of Super Saiyan God and having

an abundance of information you think there would be something in there on how to become

more powerful.

Some type of next level Namekian God or just any info on Zalama would be great.

As far a Saiyan Lore goes and getting the history on the Saiyans I am really hoping

that Bardock and Gine get some screen time.

There is a huge Bardock following and when they start talking about planet Vegeta

and how everything went down I hope there is a decent story in there talking about both

of them.

There is a lot of directions this movie could go and a lot of characters they could give

screen time too, or leave out.

I mean do we get Universe 6 Saiyans involved in

this movie or is that too much?

If Universe 6 is involved do we get Hit?

With how the tournament ended and Toppo talking with Jiren maybe he could come and help Goku

and Vegeta out on this one and we get a match of the Alpha males with Jiren vs Broly.

Many of us just want to see that fight because its just 2 powerhouses going at it.

Of course that is just not likely but fun think about and why I did this video.

So I am going to run a poll and you can tell me who you most want to see in the DBS Movie

and if you can leave a comment as to why?

Do we need Gohan and Piccolo and for them to get stronger?

Should they leave out any talk of the Universe 6 Saiyans or add them and other characters

in?

I always love to hear your theories in the comments below and if you enjoyed this video

don't forget to hit that like button and please subscribe and turn on that notification bell

to keep those theories coming!!

Top 5 Reasons You NEED Play Hammond - Overwatch - Duration: 6:54.

Herman is absolutely nuts I've been playing a lot of him lately and I have

one thing to say he is the new dive today I'm going to be

telling you the top five reasons you need to learn this beast of a tank even

if you're a DPS or support main my name is Nathan and welcome to Blizzard guides,

before we get into this video I just want to give a quick apology for the

staggered videos lately I've been finishing up my last class of high

school and I've just been getting busy with preparations for college it'll be a

bit better in the future I'm taking a gap year but for now you'll have to bear

with me if I miss an upload but with that out of the way let's get right into

this video at number five this tank is just hilariously good Winston and Deva

have been the kings of mobility so long but now you have another option for high

burst dives Winston and Deva are both strong because they can rely on each

other but Hammond is good because he can rely on himself he has a shield that

will give him up to 700 extra HP burst with his grapple on a 5 second cooldown

he can also disengage and deal tons of rapid damage in bursty combos he's

basically the dive hero for soloqueue so if you want to play him in tandem with

other dive tanks and other dive heroes he'll be able to quickly finish off

enemies similar to how tracers will rapidly swap from target to target his

rapid movement coupled with his high HP shield buffs let him get into the fight

deep and finish a target off quickly and then just fly away while also dealing

damage getting there and back at number 4 if you play a lot of DPS but you've

been looking for a tank to play this is the guy for you if you have good

mechanics you have a really high burst ability and a really strong escape

despite the fact that the hook and roll takes some time to get down in the first

place and using it not only to escape a deal quick bursts of damage takes a lot

more skill if high mechanical skill heroes are your kind of thing this is a

really really strong way for you to maximize your ability as a tank

it doesn't require strictly good aim it's more about like how doom fist is

highly mechanical it doesn't require a lot of aim but still requires good

intuition and knowledge of the map and move

in the game if you were actually in there and dealing damage he does require

somewhat of good tracking but his fast speed hit and burst from piledriver

allow you to get a quick burst of up to 150 damage which means that the four

body shots in a melee that you do afterwards will kill the enemy if they

don't get healed if you focus on learning those combos with that hook the

tracking will not be quite as necessary overall though he's just incredibly

strong for those of you that are already very mechanically talented he'll be a

very strong addition to your kit if you're a DPS player looking for a tank

to learn at number three his ultimate is just the best area of denial ability

hands down if you're playing king of the hill payload or assault being able to

completely deny the point with an ability that lasts for 20 seconds it's

just crazy if you're looking to contest point to him and is also really going to

work out well for stalling his shields fast moving hook and his really quick

old charge will allow him to contest and clutch points for your team like none

other I've personally been learning a lot of

doofus lately not for the purpose of actually playing him regularly but just

to have a hero to switch to stall a fight out doofus is a really strong

stall hero because his quick burst damage abilities allow him to quickly

pick up a kill and then provide him with hundreds of health points and shields

result also charges fairly quickly so if you need it you can old and get an

escape really quickly in a similar vein him and can quickly burst stall with

lots of shields and build alt to deny the point for a long time so not only

does Hammond fit strongly into the dive category we'll also be seeing him used a

lot for stall so even if you don't want to play him all of the time learning him

for the purpose of stall techniques is a really good way to use this hero and at

number two he's really just going to be a strong counter to dive Hammond is a

weird one he's going to be effective on dive and also against dive when you run

dive you rely on the fact that you have a lot of mobility and that your enemy

does not if you run him and you're going to be able to counter dive the enemy

really well by perching on the high ground and then pile-driving whenever

the enemy dives in this will make them go out of their bubble that they're

using and put them into an uncomfortable situation because they'll be thrown into

the air his ability to quickly Boop enemies away while also dealing damage

is a really strong suit and then also being able to follow up is really strong

as well he'll fill the role that loose used to fill whenever Anna was very

prevalent in the meta booping the dive away this quick movement is going to be

strong if you've learned how to master the mechanically demand a cook and with

the resurgence of dive because of the Brigitta nerves you'll also become more

reliant on the high health pool comps backed with the strong burst of Anna's

healing Hammond is such a good option for this

if a him and goes into the fight takes 400 damage and then bails he'll be able

to feed so much old charge to his healers that they likely will have alt

every fight this is going to be a staple of his play style diving in taking

damage using shields and then disengaging this shield acts as a quick

burst of up to 700 HP but more typically 300 HP to allow him a short time frame

to get his hook up and then quickly get him out of the fight this counter dive

and quick movement is really going to show up a lot and will be a staple of

his kit and will prove very useful to counter dive comps if you can't run

something that will counter it directly like Arisa or hog and finally at number

1 Hammond is just plain fun seriously he's probably one of my favorite heroes

to play right now so I seriously suggest that you just learn him for fun there's

nothing like flying around a map like a golf ball bouncing up and picking up

kills as you go I suggest that you go into a custom lobby with no cooldowns

and swing around the maps until you pick up his hook really well once you feel

really comfortable with that and can get where you want to with one hook use head

over and play some FFA if you played safe and you rotate around health packs

you'll have an absolute blast and you'll really learn to appreciate this hero a

ton not only is he very mechanically demanding as a tank he's just very

intuitive and relies on the intuition of the physical world that you've already

developed overall he's just really enjoyable so I do really suggest that

you try him out for a while and put him into your hero rotation it takes a bit

to get comfortable but once you do you love playing him and you will really

want to anyway I hope I've convinced you to pick up Hammond and play him a bit

more he's been so much fun to play lately so I just wanted to share some of

the advantages of playing this hero if this video was enjoyable or you learned

something new drop a like so that I can keep making more videos like this one

and if you like what's going on on this channel seriously just get subscribed so

that you can see more of this content I've been making for you all anyway I

hope you guys enjoyed this one have a nice day my name is Nathan and this was

YOU DON'T NEED TO JUSTIFY WANTING TO DO YOUTUBE | VEDA DAY 1 - Duration: 2:16.

Everyone in my life was telling me it was a mistake but how can it be a mistake if so

many people love doing it?

How can it be a mistake if I love doing it?

[transitional beep]

I keep a notebook.

It's just for thoughts and things I hear that I like and want to remember and look back at.

So I was looking through it this morning and I found a passage from early April that I

don't think I said but I didn't write down who said it.

"The only difference between you and the person you look up to is self-promotion."

[Camera shakes] Oh no!

I've been obsessed with YouTube since the beginning.

Since, like, 2007 I was watching the vlogbrothers.

And I started watching Grace Helbig and Tyler Oakley and other, like, O.G. youtubers

that were mostly just talking about their lives and they didn't know what it was going to be yet.

I created a channel in 2011 and I started posting pretty regularly and then I took them all down.

People in my life were telling me that this wasn't a good idea.

That I shouldn't be putting myself out there like that.

That I had to grow up.

That I shouldn't be airing my dirty laundry so to speak.

And I listened to them.

But now seven years later, I'm still obsessed with YouTube.

And the vlogging style and YouTube as a medium and as a platform and as a publisher

and all of that complicated stuff that goes with it.

And I'm engulfed in the conversation without having anyone to talk to about it.

I've literally been spending so much of my time thinking about making videos

and thinking about what I would say in videos and I would stage the video.

I'm going to suck at this, is basically the whole point of this vlog.

I literally don't know what I'm doing right now [long silence] so grain of salt.

I came out to the middle of nowhere to film this because I'm still really weirded out

by being on camera and talking into the camera and having that history of people

telling me I shouldn't be doing YouTube, I shouldn't want to do Youtube.

Because I have been posting videos on and off since 2011 about a variety of topics and

everyone in my life was telling me it was a mistake but how can it be a mistake if so many people love doing it?

How can it be a mistake if I love doing it?

So I'm going to do VEDA and it's going to be really f***ing hard but I'm going to try

and we'll see what happens.

I kind of don't want anyone to watch these videos because this is going to suck.

What's in my CON BAG? - Duration: 14:16.

Hi everybody! Denise here again with another video! Yaaaaay!

So I just got back from Metrocon in Tampa

and I thought I would do a quick video

showing what I tend to keep in my con bag

Ooooh aaaaaah

What I tend to keep in them does differ depending on the exact situation of the convention that I'm at

and what my costume is

For example I was wearing my Remus costume on the last day that I was at the convetion

and this bag I actually have as just part of my costume

to look like a bag he would carry his books in to class

a lot of my costumes don't actually have a bag that's part of it

and so I may have something smaller that I carry with me

not to mention some conventions I go to I am staying at a hotel, which was the case with Metrocon

Some of them I am driving to, and I might need to keep slightly different things with me

just because I don't have a room to place things, I would have to go back to my car to get whatever it was that I needed

And some costumes I have just need different things with them

Sometimes, you know, I might be wearing something that's a lot more uncomfortable than my Remus costume

and so I might want a lot of headache medicine with me

I tend not to get headaches in my Remus costume because the wig is kind of perfectly sized for my gigantic head

which is unreal, but... yeah, anyway, let's just jump right on in.

So like I said, this bag I have actually as just part of the costume

which is sooo convenient because if somebody wants to come take a picture

I can just leave the bag on. I don't have to worry about taking it off, bending over to pick it back up when the picture's done

just to turn around two minutes later and have somebody else want to come take a picture.

Um

It's fairly large, so I do have the ability to keep quite a

decent amount of things in it

and another thing I wanted to add is that there are a few things in here that I've actually taken out

because it has been a few days since the convention

Um, I tried to put as much stuff back in it that I could remember that I had

but there may be a few things that I know I had with me that I didn't think about before I started filming this video

So just gonna go ahead and open it on up

I do like to carry a water bottle with me of some sort

I have this Marauders Map tervis which I thought was very fitting for the costume

so this is the one that I decided to take with me to the convention

Staying hydrated is super, super, super, super important

The other day that I was at the convention I was wearing my Rapunzel costume

and I completely forgot to put my water bottle in it

and making sure that I stayed hydrated that day was a lot more difficult

But by having a water bottle with me I'm able to get sips of water whenever I need them throughout the day

and I'm also able to refill it a lot

because I need... a lot of water

This convention center actually had a lot of those cool, uh, like water bottle refill fountain... things...

where you can just hold your bottle up to it, and it'll fill it up because it has a sensor

That was really nice

I was able to get a lot of water that I needed

This is one of the things that I took out because I've been using it

and I put it back in.

As you can see, it has water in it that I have been drinking throughout the day today

uh, but yeah. This is my water bottle.

I also have my wallet and my contact case.

Another thing that I do usually carry, especially if I have a larger bag,

even though I wear contacts with my costumes I like to have my glasses

so I usually have my glasses case in here as well, that way if something DOES happen

my contacts start bothering me, I can take them out but I can still see to walk around

and if I need to read something I'll be able to because I'll be able to put my glasses on

Oh, this is my wand for my Remus costume

Obviously I usually don't have this in my bag - unless I'm cosplaying Remus

but. Yeah, isn't it fancy?

It's one of the interactive ones they sell at Universal.

This is my comb.

I don't need it so much with my Remus costume because it has a really short wig

but any time I'm wearing a longer wig, like my Rapunzel costume or my Sailor Moon costumes

I need this a lot throughout the day to brush out the tangles that happen as I'm walking around

Um

It's got these nice wide bristles

It's got this little pointy end

if I need to pick out a certain area

This is a very nice comb to have.

I also had my phone charger - my portable charger

and a cord with me

I don't want my phone dying throughout the day so having this is really nice

because I tend to use my phone quite a lot when I'm at conventions

because I want to take pictures, and I want to text my friends and see where they are

I want to post things on you know, my insta story or whatever

It's nice being able -- a lot of conventions now have their panel schedules posted on different apps you can download

so having my phone handy to look that stuff up is nice and just in general

I go through a lot of phone battery throughout the day

so this comes in handy.

If you don't have a portable charger then obviously

I could have just taken the little bit that you plug into the wall that you put the USB cord in

and that would've worked. I would've had to like, sit down somewhere

but sitting down is nice anyways, so you know, who cares?

Alright I did also have some snacks.

These cookies are really smushed up but I bet they still taste really good, because they are cookies

I also had a bag of cheezits but we ate all of the cheezits so

they are no longer in here.

And, uh

It's a wonder I haven't eaten all these yet.

I don't know why I kept them in my bag these past few days. I could have been eating these cookies.

I also like to keep a smaller bag in my main bag that has a lot of the little items that I want to be able to

find quickly if I need them, but I don't want them to kind of just get scattered and lost throughout my larger bag.

That way if I know I need something that I keep in here, it's very easy for me to find it.

I can just pull this bag out.

Plus a lot of the things I keep in here are things that I want to have every day of the convention

and it's a lot easier to take this bag out of the bag that I'm using on day 1 and go ahead and place it down into

the second bag that I'm wearing the next day.

I dunno, I just think it's really convenient.

and it's nice staying organized, I think.

But in here I've got some band-aids

in case you know, somebody randomly starts bleeding,

or if someone starts to get blisters on their feet you can pop a band-aid on so that they don't

y'know, have to go the rest of the day in complete and total agony

I have a little sewing kit in here.

In case something rips, or I need to mend something.

It did also have a few safety pins in here but I am not sure what happened to them

I know we were using them on costumes and I still have yet to find the safety pins that I took

but normally I have safety pins in here as well.

This is just a little sewing kit you can get at, you know, Walmart... craft stores will have them...

Lots of different places

Just a cheap little thing that has a few different colors of thread, that way you can kind of match something

it's got little bitty scissors, a needle, some pins, and I guess it had the safety pins.

I did also have my medicine with me that I take throughout the day

I didn't need my big pack {my organizer} so the one that I have I can kind of separate, so

I was able to take off just, y'know, a couple days with it to keep with me

If you do have any sort of medicine, please make sure that you're taking it even though you are at a convention

You're gonna be happier in the long run.

But you could also make sure that you've got, you know, ibuprofen, or tylenol, or headache medicne

Whatever you think you're going to need to stay comfortable throughout the day.

Eyelash glue, very important.

I don't wear fake eyelashes with my Remus costume, but my Rapunzel costume I do,

and I had this in here in case my eyelashes just started to come unglued I could go ahead and glue them on quickly

Plus you never know, maybe someone else has that problem and you can save their life by having some handy if they don't have any

Similar to that I have a Tide To Go pen.

They have these little bitty ones that you can get. I got this at Target in the section where they have all their travel things

It's very small, it is super easy to carry around

If you spill something on your costume you want that to be gone as quickly as possible. This can help.

There was actually somebody sitting behind me in the Harry Potter Trivia Panel who needed it

and I was like "oh, I've got some" and I was able to hand it to them

The look on their face was amazing, because they were like, "oh my gosh, I didn't think anyone would actually have it"

but it's always nice to stay prepared.

Super small, super compact, really lightweight

it's not going to weigh you down by carrying it but it could save you a lot of trouble

I've also got some extra bobby pins

This is just the paper that I keep the majority of my bobby pins on

So normally it has a lot more on here.

My thousands of bobby pins that I used with my Rapunzel costume are somewhere else in my luggage at the moment

so they're not on here but I do usually have a lot

It's nice to have.

I didn't really need it with my Remus costume, but when I was wearing my Rapunzel costume

I had to put extra pins in multiple times throughout the day

It's always nice to have them.

I also have some of these oil blotting sheets for your face

I get really shiny

especially when I'm wearing a costume at a convention and I'm surrounded by tons of people

and it's really really warm

My face is going to get shiny and it's nice to be able to just take one of these out,

and blot your face off whenever you need to

Um, I have also sometimes carried handkerchiefs around with me when I've been wearing costumes

Specifically I do it when I'm going to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties because

it's real hot in Florida, even at Halloween time, and

Like say, when I wore my John Laurens costume

I burnt up and I was sweatin my darn face off, so having a handkerchief with me to just kind of like

you know, get rid of the sweat without like rubbing all of my makeup off onto my hands

was really nice.

But usually at actual conventions since I'm inside where there's air conditioning I don't sweat THAT bad

but having the blotting sheets is really convenient

especially if you are planning on doing like a photoshoot in the middle of the day you can go ahead and just touch up really quickly

before you continue

Speaking of touching up, something else that I forgot to add back in here that I am thinking of now is

makeup that you can use to touch up your face throughout the day.

Powder, uh, I do actually have um. This one is what Mandy was using but, um,

since we were both wearing guy costumes that day part of our crossplay makeup is covering up the color on our lips a little bit

So, you know, what we need for that.

Or even if you are, you know, wearing a lip stick with the costume you might want to have that with you so you can touch it up throughout the day

What else do I have in here?

Um, oh, I had chapstick

Chapstick is really useful, I know I need a lot of chapstick throughout the day

I also had my social media cards that I can give to people

if I decide I've just met you and I want to be friends, here's my information, really easy to hand out

And last but not least, my badge for the convention

A lot of times I will safety pin these to my costumes, but with my Remus costume it was

easy to just have it in the bag, pull it out to show to the convention staffers when I needed it

and I knew that it was going to be nice and safe, it wasn't going to fall off of me and get lost halfway throughout the day

and I would have it

So that is what I had in my convention bag

Let me know what you tend to carry around in yours

Do you have any great ideas for things that maybe I haven't thought about before that I might want to carry around with me?

If you do, let me know down in the comments.

Please if you are new to my channel go ahead and subscribe so that you can be notified when I

post new videos and give this video a thumbs up, that'd be great, thank you

And, ah, I will see you all next time! Byyyeeeeeeeeeee

5 Bleached Foods that are Poisonous to Your Health - Duration: 6:47.

5 Bleached Foods that are Poisonous to Your Health

Did you know that you're probably eating 5 chemically bleached foods that are harmful to your health? The list includes table salt, white sugar, cow's milk, refined flour, and margarine.

In this article we'll explain why they're so harmful and also suggest some healthy alternatives to improve your quality of life.

Table salt.

We usually just talk about salt in general, but today it's important to distinguish that just like white and brown sugars, there are refined or natural salts.

Refined salt is more commonly known as table salt, and is simply sodium chloride that has been processed to remove all other nutrients.

It also frequently contains additives to keep it from clumping.

Not only is it an unhealthy option in general, the regular use of table salt can cause real damage to your body in the long run.

Instead choose natural sea salts that contain their original vitamins and minerals, because they haven't been refined.

The best known natural salt – sea salt – is relatively inexpensive, and there are plenty of other options as well (Himalayan salt, Celtic salt, etc.).

White sugar.

White sugar doesn't provide you with any nutrients and many nutritionists even consider it to be a poison.

It contains empty calories that contribute to weight gain, and is a risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes.

It can also damage your teeth.

Once it reaches the blood stream, the acidity of white sugar steals minerals like calcium and can weaken the teeth and bones.

To keep from cutting out sweets from your diet, replace white sugar with brown sugar, honey, molasses, or natural fruit syrups.

Cow's milk.

Plenty of nutritionists advise against drinking cow's milk beyond the first months of life because the body loses the enzyme known as lactase, which allows us to properly digest lactose.

Others argue that our bodies are made to process only human breast milk and not that of other animals.

According to this theory, most of the population would be lactose intolerant without being aware of it, and we keep drinking milk because we don't have symptoms of this intolerance.

Despite being a very whole and nutritious food, it contains no fiber, iron, or vitamin C.

It has also been linked to problems like gastric acidity, inflammatory diseases, anemia, cardiovascular disease, and obesity.

There are some studies that imply that milk increases the risk of developing prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, and lymphoma.

The more natural alternatives are vegetable milks made from oats, rice, buckwheat, almonds, etc.

There is also lactose-free milk and milk of other animals, which are more digestible and less harmful.

Refined flour.

We increasingly find ourselves eating refined foods, but we know that all those cereals that don't contain fiber have lost a lot of nutritional value.

Refined flour, as opposed to whole flour, can cause constipation, increase fluid retention, and contribute to weight gain.

It's also a risk factor for colon cancer, because the colon needs a lot of fiber to stay healthy.

Also included here are not just cereals and flour, but any derivatives that are commonly found in our daily menu: pastas, breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and more.

Margarine.

While butter is a natural food generated from cow's milk and consumed throughout history, margarine is an artificial creation of the last few decades that's based on vegetable oils of questionable quality.

This is because they've been through several refining processes to obtain a solid texture, a lighter or yellowish color, to add flavor, and to preserve them.

In addition, any vitamins margarine claims to contain have been added in artificially.

Margarine also has a lot more calories than butter and contains trans fats, which are highly damaging to the body and have even been linked to an elevated risk of heart disease.

Although margarine doesn't contain cholesterol because of its plant base, what is certain is that trans fats cause an increase in the levels of bad cholesterol in the body.

How to Grow Back Receding Gums Naturally - Duration: 3:00.

How to Grow Back Receding Gums Naturally If your gums are receding or retracting, this

could be a sign of a gum disease.

Also known as gingival recession, receding gums happen when the gums draw back from the

crown of the teeth.

It can happen during childhood or adolescence and because it is progressive, it worsens

over time.

Usually, those with this problem are over the age of 40 in which the roots of the teeth

are already exposed.

Many reasons cause gingival recession, including: • Hormone imbalance

• Heredity • Periodontal disease

• Poor dental hygiene • Aggressive brushing of teeth

The good news is that receding gums do not always need to be treated at a dentist's

office.

You can use some natural remedies to control teeth and gum deterioration:

1.

Green Tea Because of the antioxidants in this tea, it

can prevent a number of diseases, including receding gums.

Green tea can help reduce gum inflammation and even destroy the bacteria present in the

mouth that cause periodontal diseases.

Drink green tea every morning to maintain the health of your teeth and gums.

2.

Coconut Oil This oil has antimicrobial properties, making

it a good remedy for receding gums.

It can kill bacteria that may be the cause behind the gum problem.

Brush your teeth first, then take some virgin coconut oil, and start swishing your mouth

with the oil.

You can also use sesame oil instead of coconut oil.

3.

Aloe Vera A study showed that aloe vera can help soothe

periodontal disease, including gum problems.

When you buy toothpastes or mouthwashes, go for those products that contain aloe vera.

4.

Vitamin C If you are deficient in vitamin C, this can

result to gum bleeding and inflammation.

You can take supplements to help improve the condition of your gums.

You can also eat more foods that are rich in the vitamin, including fresh vegetables

and fruits like bell peppers, dark leafy greens, and of course citrus fruits.

5.

Clove Using oil from clove can help stimulate gum

growth and repair the tissues that may have been damaged due to gum disease.

Clove oil is an antimicrobial, antifungal, antiseptic agent.

You can use clove oil as mouthwash by adding five to six drops of the oil into a cup of

warm water.

Some factors, such as heredity, can not be controlled, but that does not mean you can

pot prevent gum recession.

As the old saying goes, prevention is better than cure.

Do not brush aggressively, always brush along the gum lines, and not using a very large

toothbrush and flossing daily can help keep your whole mouth clean and healthy.

How Often Should You Go Live on Facebook | Video Marketing For Business with Jessica Brace - Duration: 2:04.

Jessica Brace: 00:00 Hey, it's Jessica brace here and we have another session of did you

know on video and these are questions that are submitted for members of my sheet broadcast

video marketing support group today.

I have a great question from our member, Nancy and Nancy asks, how often should you go live

from your business page?

That's a really good question.

So how often should you go live from your business page?

Well, the answer to that is as much as possible.

No, just kidding.

So it really is a matter of your audience and it's also a matter of quality versus quantity.

So if you're going to rush through and go live and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,

and just kind of Babble on in your videos, then do less videos and take a little bit

more time to plan.

But if you're going to create great content, that's the key to creating live video.

Jessica Brace: 00:51 So if you can do one video a week, three videos a week, four videos

a week, that's up to you, but there really is no magic number.

Obviously the more videos that you create, the more that you're going to get yourself

out there and the more that people are going to be exposed to your content, but it is a

matter over quality over quantity.

So make sure that all of your videos are good quality and there is no right or wrong answer.

It's whatever works for you and your audience.

I would rather see you do one awesome video a week, then five MEH videos.

It's way better to have that awesome quality content and put a little bit more time and

effort into planning it out than it is to just jump in and do videos for the sake of

doing videos because that's just going to be spinning your wheels and we don't want

any of that.

So if you're interested in more video tips and hints and support and then head on over

to our group, she broadcast video marketing support group here on facebook.

It's free and I'd love to see you there.

Personalized Video To Promote Your Practice - It's Easier Than You Think! - Duration: 4:50.

Welcome, welcome, welcome, everybody to Top Line Live at Five! My name is Brian

Devine, here with top line. Today let's talk about personalized video and

personalized marketing in general. Now, the reason that I'm bringing

this up today is because I've had a few people kind of we've been talking about

how this works and what we can do. The kind of questions that keep coming

up are: What do I do with it? How? What kind of videos? Where do I put it? How

does it all work? Well, it's really just up to your imagination. You can go crazy

with it! So, I thought why don't I do something really fast. Really simple

today to show you just how powerful this is. Because, when you personalize your

marketing, meaning, you can send something out that has a person's name on it. You

are going to get better results than if you don't. Now, obviously, if you have a

great piece of marketing without the name and a lousy piece of marketing with

the name, probably, the great piece of marking is going to do better but just by

adding somebody's name, which is everyone's favorite word in the world,

you are going to increase your odds of getting exactly what you want. Now, the

reason I say getting what you want because not all advertising campaigns,

not all marketing is designed to do the same thing, so, it's trying to get someone

to take an action. If you can add personalization to that process, you're

going to see your results go through the roof. So, I'm going to jump on over here

on my other screen. I'm going to show you this very simple little video that I

literally created just minutes before I went live here on this video. Now, what I

want you to see is there's a link up here and it just has my name in it.

Alright, so, I'm going to show you this video. It's just really simple, kind

of fun, you know, just say both happy birthday. Okay. No, it says happy birthday

from Top Line. Now, this is all editable. So, these kinds of videos are super easy

to make. We can put whatever you want here. We can put whatever we'd like here.

But now, here's the key is that I left this blank. So, that I can personalize

this. So, I just put, 'Hey Brian!' But, we don't have to do that. Here's the thing,

let's say we are sending this to Larry on his birthday. I'm going to let that

render. Now, it says 'Hey Larry!' It's just

that easy. I'll know if you're noticing all I'm doing is changing this

up here. Let's send one to Sally. There it is! Now, you might be

thinking. Okay, well I guess every time that we want to say happy birthday to

somebody with video that we can do this. Now, just keep in mind, this is just a

simple quick little video that I created but you can use any kind of video. So, if

you have your team, your staff, all get together and do some kind of a birthday

video. Well, that can be used over and over again for anyone in your practice

who's having a birthday. The reason that I'm using this particular style is

that you can see that, essentially, if you have a list of names, all you

have to do is pop this into a spreadsheet and throw the names in there.

You're good to go. Now, if you're using a specific type of marketing tool

that sends out emails automatically. We might be able to just tie right into

that and have it automatically update the name. So, you can send this out

automatically through our software, through your software and have it always

say the right person's name. You can make sure this goes out all year long

Then, obviously, change the video. So, that they're not getting the

same video every year. So, you kind of just make sure that if you start in

January of 2019 that you have a new video for January 2020. Okay, but that's

what I wanted to get out to you. I want you to see that this is just that

amazing. It's just that simple. Now, this is just one way to do it. We can do it

through Facebook. So, if you send this link through Facebook, anyone who

clicks, they're going to see their name. It's going to automatically pull the information

from their Facebook page. It's really amazing. So, I just wanted you to see how

how powerful this can be, that you really can do this kind of personalized

marketing. Now, all I did was put their name in. Now, you could have

more information as long as you have it. Now, if you are on Facebook, doing it. Well,

any information that Facebook has, we can pull right into that. Otherwise, as long

as you have the information that we can pull in there.

Hey, sky's the limit. So, be creative. Think about this I just wanted to see

just in a quick minute. I had a five. Hey, let me just create this video real fast.

Let me throw in the personalization and boom! I am done. This could be run all

year long. Okay, so that was the idea for today. I

want you to know that we're here to support you. Let me know what question

you have. I think that's it for today. I look forward to seeing you next time

on Top Line Live at Five! That's it for me! Bye for now!

Lower Back Strain - Quadratus Lumborum - Duration: 8:29.

okay guys for today's video I'm gonna cover low back strings specifically the

quadratus lumborum this muscle causes tons of pain and wrecks havoc on tons of

people now today's video is going to put a lot of people out of business because

I'm gonna give you the shortcut on how to fix it this is my own personal

treatment for it and it works really really well so the quadratus lumborum

muscle is probably the muscle that's most responsible for the pain that you

feel when you hurt your back when people say they have a bad back they're

probably talking about the pain that they're experiencing from this quadratus

lumborum muscle when people go to try and get their bag adjusted when they

want a low back massage when they're sticking lacrosse balls into their back

all those reasons are because they have a weak quadratus lumborum now the

quadratus lumborum is a strip of muscle that goes from the bottom of the 12th

rib and attaches to the top what they did

and actually attaches to every single vertebral body transference process of

the spine you have one on each side one on the right one on the left okay

the primary reason for the quadratus lumborum is to provide spinal stability

you can also use up so if I were to bend to the right or to the left my right

quadratus lumborum is preventing me from continuing to tip forward I bend to the

right same thing let me show it to you in action once again Juan from Leija

Lift is here he's got some nice quadratus lumborum muscles so we're

gonna show you those okay okay so to the untrained eye it really looks like just

back muscles right but the quadratus lumborum is going to be from here to the

top of the hip and from here to the top of the hip go ahead event to the left

and trying to see the quadratus lumborum muscle here bend to the right and you

see the quad rating from possible there okay so when you use them one at a time

they bend you to the side one bends you the other one controls the bed when you

use a boat at the same time it extends you go ahead and there you go so now the

quadratus lumborum is contracted okay great okay so what is the primary reason

of their quad raise L'Amour again like I mentioned spinal stability what most

people are hurt their back when they're twisted right so that's why we always

tell people to pivot because you never know if something's too heavy and it's

going to be too much load for your quad rings one more so the other thing that

the quadratus lumborum does it prevents excessive rotary motion of the spine so

go ahead and put your hands on your shoulders give yourself a hug

I love yourself before you love anybody okay now twist to the left and here what

you're going to see is you're going to see the quadratus lumborum activate and

it's preventing that excessive torque right now when that muscle atrophies

when you hurt your back you lay down you put a cold pack and a hot pack heat

misogyny stick the lacrosse ball into it pretty much what you're doing is you're

a chore feeding the muscle so the number one thing you want to do when you strain

that muscle is you want to strengthen it now you take the strengthening portion

nice and easy and then by five to seven days it's completely resolved and you

should never have to worry about it again so you've hurt your back either

starting the lawnmower lifting up a case of water and put it into your vehicle or

you just had a baby you're taking them out of the crib you're bending over

lifting and twisting now you can't stand up completely gate that is quadratus

lumborum pain okay so what do you do you back off right don't pull your knees to

your chest do not take a look cross ball to it

definitely don't go for a deep tissue massage it's too early in the injury for

any of that but you want to do is you want to slowly start activating that

muscle again now it's painful but at the same time you're gonna make it a lot

better quicker by actually starting to work it versus pressing it and trying to

relax it more so the side plank / EMG activity electrode

my my alone graphic activity shows that that's the highest the side plank will

be the highest amount of recruitment for the cadres one more muscle now I don't

expect you to get down on the side and start planking immediately after an

injury so you modify that side plank okay so the best way to modify it is

I've created something here with a chair and a third ball the other thing you can

do is you can use a kitchen counter or bathroom counter okay so the goal here

is is to go ahead and get into a side plank right and the goal here is to try

and maintain a perfect angle right so here he's having to use both sides of

the quadratus lumborum when you can see that nice muscle belly really activating

there you can see him shaking a little bit and that's to be expected that's

exactly what you want you want that shaking that tells you that the muscles

working and rest right how long do you hold 20 seconds 20 seconds is too long

hold for ten I want you to repeat it four times on each side and then you're

done for the day do it again mid-afternoon and right

before you go to sleep stay active and remember don't pull your knees to your

chest don't stick a lacrosse ball on it don't

get a deep tissue massage let the muscles slowly unravel and heal from its

injury let the inflammation process take its course

okay once this gets easy right then you can add other things

go ahead side

good now you can do things like lift your right arm towards the ceiling

that's really gonna make it work now right or if you're really really feeling

better and you want to even challenge yourself more lift the right leg off the

left leg now that's really working okay good so once your quadratus lumborum

feels good and you don't want this injury to occur again it's a great idea

to make that muscle really firm really strong that way it prevents any type of

injuries in the future so when you do is you take exactly what I just

demonstrated or what Wan just demonstrated and you do it on the floor

that's today's video i'm dr g callus physical therapy thank you for watching

don't forget to click like and subscribe comment below and we can bring you new

videos that's exactly what this video is based off of someone made a comment so I

hope that answers your question and I hope it helps and don't forget today
