The Texas-Size Makeover That You Have to Know About | Southern Living - Duration: 2:51.
Hi, welcome to Austin, Texas
and the 2018 Southern Living Idea House.
(rock music)
The dining room
is not always the most used space in the house,
so I made it into library.
Not only is it just decorative and beautiful,
but you could actually use it.
The color of the room is green,
and then I used a paperback fabric on the walls.
And then I wanted a really large graphic fabric
on the drapery that gives you a lot of fun,
and a burst of color.
I also love this chandelier.
I did it in sort of an outdoor finish
to sort of play down the formal aspect of the dining room.
I really wanted a strong kitchen.
The cabinets, they kind of read with beige,
and tan, and brown, and then the backsplach
is a really pretty blue.
These lanterns are a little bit overscaled.
But the island is really big,
so I wanted to make that balanced.
And then I didn't wanna do antique brass,
I really wanted to show that nickel is really pretty still.
(rock music)
One of the great parts of this room
is we built in these cabinets to hide a bar.
So when you open up the cabinets, they actually push back.
And then behind these doors is a secret powder room.
I love this room.
It's sort of a pale, gray-pink.
I think by incorporating more mature art,
and stronger colors with the pale pink
lends itself to be less age specific.
The bathroom upstairs was originally a Jack and Jill.
We split the bathrooms,
but that made the bathrooms really tiny.
And so in each of the doors,
I incorporated a window to let in light.
The master bedroom,
I wanted that room to be more cool colors.
I wanted to have a wallpaper.
If I was gonna use a wallpaper,
I wanted to be able to see it,
but be a pattern, and again, something I would not tire of.
It was sort of by coincidence that the bed became lattice,
and the walls were lattice.
And then I did tassel ties,
because the ties kinda just gave a more casual effect.
And right now, they're shooting a possible photo
for the magazine, and using my dog Poncho as the model.
(cameraman whistles)
Poncho!
I've had so much fun doing the Southern Living House.
It's been a really fun project.
I feel like this house is a part of me,
and I hope it inspires you.

20 UNIQUE PILLOW CHALLENGES: What Surprise Toys Are There? - Coco Kids Club - Duration: 13:39.
Hey, guys!
Today is a special day here at Coco Kids Club!
We have a giant pillow challenge and 20 cool tasks!
Here comes Coco!
He is ready for some great fun!
We will tear up plenty of pillows, search for tasks, play exciting games and get presents!
There is a grand prize too!
A giant box of Kinder Joy toys!
Let's have fun together!
Meet Jen.
She likes LOL Dolls.
Meet Nick.
He is a fan of robots.
They both adore Kinder surprise toys!
Everything is ready for the pillow challenge!
We are waiting for Coco's signal to start...
Go!
Wow!
So much stuffing!
Who will find the task first?
Nick!
Jen also discovers a secret note.
But Nick's game will be the first.
His game is 'Dog Time.'
Jen and Nick each have a ball.
They take turns throwing it at Coco.
The winner will be the kid whose ball Coco brings.
Whose ball will it be?
Jen wins this game!
The winner of each task will get a prize from Coco, a Kinder surprise egg.
After the challenge, we will unbox all the Kinder surprises and review all the toys!
They will be in special boxes until there are no more pillows left...
I mean, until the tasks are complete, of course.
Let's move on!
What did Jen get?
'Spoon race!'
The winner will be the fastest one to carry all the toys from the plate into the basket
with a spoon.
Go!
For now, Jen keeps pace with Nick.
They are fast.
Oh, Jen still can't carry the toys with the spoon.
And Nick gains the lead... and he barely remains standing.
The last toy and... yes, Nick wins!
Congratulations!
Nick got his first Kinder Joy.
Good job!
The second round out of ten.
Again, let's tear these pillows up and find a task.
Nick found the secret note first.
Again!
But Jen got hers too.
She is ready for a fight.
And here is a new game - 'From A Spoon To A Spoon.
Two spoons, two players, one Hatchimall egg.
You have to pass the egg to the second player without dropping it.
Otherwise, you're the loser.
Go!
Nick did the task flawlessly.
Will Jen be able to complete it?
Unfortunately, no.
But let's congratulate Nick.
He gets one more Kinder Joy egg.
Let's see which task Jen has.
Who can jump the highest?
Do you want to find out?
The players are getting ready for the jump.
The kid who jumps the highest will be the winner.
Good luck!
Jen jumps high, but Nick - higher!
You can win an Olympic medal with that jump!
Well done!
And Nick got his third Kinder Joy in his basket.
Round three.
Jen is the first here!
Nick is still searching.
So much stuffing!
And we've got a new game - 'Jumping With A Balloon.'
The track is ready.
The kids are too.
Who will finish first?
Oh, no, Jen lost her ball!
Nick finished first!
The victory is fair.
Let's celebrate it with a loud "bang!"
And Nick puts his fourth Kinder into his basket.
Do all of you remember that eating a lot of sweets is bad for your health?
However, subscribing to Coco's channel is always good!
You're welcome to subscribe.
Pleeeeeeease!
The next game is called 'Eyes To Eyes.'
This game is for the real cowboys.
Who will quit and blink first?
Well, Nick is the most patient.
I'm wondering, who will win?
Nick or Coco?
Sure, Coco, sure, you will be the winner!
No doubts!
Nick's got his fifth Kinder Joy in his basket.
Round four!
Again, let's tear up these pillows and find a task.
Remember, you can only do this in Coco Kids Club.
Please, don't try it at home!
Nick found a new task.
It's a new game - 'Big Tower.'
Two towers of plastic cups.
There is a piece of paper on each level.
The one who can remove the paper without breaking the tower will win the prize.
The kids are trying hard.
But... they both drop the cups.
Nick's tower broke first, and Jen won the game!
It's her second Kinder Joy.
The next game!
'Air Tennis.'
It's time to prepare the rackets!
Nick Federer and Jen Williams are ready for the match.
The one who steps over the court line or drops the ball will lose.
The ball is out of the court.
Ball.
Set.
Match.
Nick wins this 'almost Grand Slam tournament.'
And it's his sixth title.
Or sixth prize, we mean.
Round five!
It's the halfway point of our pillow challenge!
Nick found the task at once.
Jen was only a second away from the victory.
New secret task - 'Moving With A Cocktail Straw.'
Five papers, one straw.
The fastest one to carry all the papers from the table to the plate will get a Kinder Surprise!
Great start!
Nick drops the paper!
Jen is the winner!
And she puts the third present in her basket.
Yeah, better to do it with your hands, not with a straw!
Hey, guys, play a fair game!
Referee, whistle!
Round 6!
Even more pillow stuffing!
Nick found the task.
What is it?
'Air football.'
Nick Beckham and Jen Messi are on the pitch.
They have to juggle the ball so that it doesn't touch the mat.
You can't touch it with your hands!
Jen kicks the ball too hard.
Goal!
0:1 in favor of Nick.
He gets his SEVENTH Kinder Surprise!
By the way, who do you support?
Jen or Nick?
Write your answer in the comment section immediately.
New game - it's 'BLOW!'
Each player has his own track and a ball.
You have to drive the ball to the edge of the table without dropping it.
You can only use your breath!
Go!
Formula 1 speed!
Nick finishes in an instant!
Eighth victory!
Round seven.
Jen is not going to give up!
And... she found an interesting task first!
Let's see what's inside.
'Sit First!'
A well-known game.
Two players, but only one of them can take a seat.
Go!
And Jen is the first to sit down.
I think Nick is just too gallant to sit in the presence of a lady.
Jen got her fourth Kinder.
And Nick is ready for a new game!
This is 'Limbo!'
Everyone knows 'Limbo,' right?
You have to go under the limbo bar without touching it - that's it!
However, the limbo bar is set lower with each new round.
Nick is losing his balance.
Jen is very happy!
She got her fifth sweet prize!
Round 8.
Finding a hint in the huge amount of stuffing is becoming harder!
But the kids are dealing with it!
What's the first game?
'Cookies On The Face.'
It's my favorite!
The rules are simple: eat the cookie.
But ... don't touch it with your hands.
It looks like a lot of fun!
It's hard not to laugh, isn't it?
Have you ever tried it?
Jen could do it!
Just look at her facial expression!
She's deserved a cookie and ... her sixth Kinder surprise!
Next task: 'RACE.'
Sack race.
As we have a pillow challenge - it's a pillow-case race!
Ready, steady, GO!
They were going head-to-head.
Nick won the field at the finish line.
And he jumped for the ninth Kinder Surprise!"
Round nine.
The last round.
There are almost no more pillows left!
The new task and a new chance to win a Kinder Joy.
The game is called 'HILL.'
Cookie hill'- to be more precise.
The player has to hold a stick in his mouth and put cookies on it.
The first one to make a hill of 5 cookies will get to keep the cookies, along with a
Kinder Surprise.
The hills are growing.
But Nick's hill is falling apart.
And Jen is putting the fifth cookie on the stick!
Delicious victory!
And her seventh yummy Kinder Joy!
Nick desires revenge!
There is one more fun game.
Which one?
- It's 'Stork.'
The players have to stand on one foot, as birds do.
The one whose cup touches the ground will not get a new Kinder.
I think it's easy.
Their legs are trembling.
But no one is ready to quit.
Nick seems to lose his balance.
But he remains standing!
Jen's cup touches the mat.
Nick got his tenth Kinder.
Round 10.
The last stuffed pillows.
Jen is almost hidden in the pillow filler.
They look like Coco now, yes?
Basketball!'
The main rule: the ball must stay in the basket.
The first try is unsuccessful.
One more.
Jen's ball is in, but it bounced out of the basket.
Nick's ball remains inside the basket!
Nick, maybe, you should think about an NBA career?
If those were Kinders instead of balls, Nick would be the champion for sure.
He has 11 surprise eggs in his collection!
Hey, guys, don't bury yourself completely!
We have the last task.
A fun quickness-of-the-hand game.
The only condition is to build a pyramid first.
Let's start!
These are almost Egyptian pyramids, aren't they?
The green pyramid is built.
The last Kinder Joy goes to Nick!
But Coco has a grand prize!
This is a basket filled with 30 Kinder Joy eggs!
Wow!
I would like to get it too!
So, who will get it?
Coco values friendship most of all!
He thinks that both players did a great job!
That's why they will both get the grand prize!
Friendship is our main prize!
Do you agree?
If yes - press the like button!
And we will unbox 50 more Kinder Joy surprises in our next video!
Be Coco's friends and follow all the cool new videos!
If you want to see what's inside the 50 Kinder Joy surprises - go to the link in the corner
of the screen.

Hypnotherapy Demo: How to Trigger Feelings Of Joy In Your Subject - Duration: 20:38.
Have a sit up here.
Can we get the mic ready?
Did you enjoy the experience you just had was that pretty cool?
It was awesome.
Excellent.
You're about to have something even better than that if that's okay with you.
Hard to imagine, but I'm ready.
Good.
First thing I want to ask you, is it okay if I touch your shoulder from time to time
just to help you throughout the process is that fine?
Yes.
Good.
The next thing you should know is, we're about to do hypnosis as you know.
This is exciting, the journey starts.
Know that you will hear sounds around you from time to time, it's going to happen.
I'd like you to realize that those sounds will help make this journey even better for
you.
I wouldn't be surprised even if they would start blending in with whatever environment
your memories bring back for you.
Of course, my voice will continue with you and will guide and help you shape the experience
so at every point you're absolutely safe, you realize that right?
Now you know where you're sitting.
You know what that means don't you?
Yes.
You are safe aren't you?
Feel the chair and know you're safe.
Very good.
Now in a moment I'm going to touch your shoulder just like this and when I do I'd
like for you to have that really positive, happy, exciting emotion, whatever that was
come back up and there you go.
Is it there yet?
Yes.
Of course it is.
Getting stronger yet?
Yes.
This is the most amazing part.
In a moment I will count from three down to one.
At the count of one you're going to go way back in time, way back to when you felt just
as good at this or even better, are you ready for this?
Three-two-one…
go be there now.
There you go, where are you inside or outside?
I'm outside.
You are outside aren't you?
Are you alone or with others?
I'm alone.
How are you feeling right now?
Wonderful.
You are and do you know how old you are yet?
Maybe 25 or 30.
That's right.
Are you enjoying this place?
Mm…hmm.
As good as this place is, the next one's even better do you know why?
It's going to go way back to before the age when you were 10.
Are you okay with that?
Mm…hmm.
Before the age of 10, something just as exciting, just as good as this or even better.
Are you ready for this?
Three-two-one…
go be there now.
That's it there, how are you doing little Angela?
I'm doing great.
You are doing great aren't you?
Are you inside or outside?
I'm inside.
Are you alone or with others?
I'm sitting on the top of the stairs.
How are you feeling right now?
I'm so excited.
You are so excited, so good!
Do you know why?
Yeah.
Why is that?
Because it's Christmas morning but I'm not allowed to go downstairs.
It's Christmas morning.
That's great.
I'm going to count to three and big Angela's going to watch that Christmas scene with me…
one-two-three… big Angela, watch that scene way down there.
Was that exciting for little Angela?
Yeah.
Thank you.
What did they call little Angel over there?
Jelly bean.
Jelly bean.
That's so cool.
So you're Angel here watching little Jelly bean over there.
Didn't she have the best time ever?
Mm…hmm.
Now, there's something you and I both know that she doesn't know at this point.
You know before this whole event, this whole Christmas morning thing and so on, she's
sitting on the stairs all excited.
Before that happened there was a period, a time when she was just bored, nothing was
going on.
It could've been an hour before, a day before, a week before it doesn't matter.
How long before this would you say that was?
Mm… maybe a day or two.
Can you see that now just before that, little Jelly bean over there kind of bored.
What's she doing?
She's coloring in her coloring book.
Nowhere near as good as the Christmas morning is it?
Mmm.
So here's what I'm going to do, in a moment I'm going to count from three down to one
and you'll step inside the scene, you'll be little Jelly bean coloring in the book
and a little bored, but the beautiful thing is the thing she doesn't know is that Christmas
morning is coming and then the fun starts.
Are you ready to experience that?
Yes.
Three-two-one…
go step in the scene.
Hey little Jelly bean, how are you doing?
I'm fine.
Are you having fun?
Mm…hmm.
What are you doing?
I'm just hanging out at home.
That's right.
Let time pass a little bit and look, Christmas is coming.
It's Christmas morning, how are you feeling now?
That's right.
I can't wait.
I know, it's the best!
One-two-three Angel, Angel looking at the little Jelly bean over there wasn't that
something?
Did she have any idea how good it's going to be then?
No.
Maybe there's nothing.
She had no idea because it could be nothing exactly, she's young how would she know?
What do you think would happen if you told little Jelly bean that even though nothing's
happening and now she's just coloring in her books doing whatever that just a couple
of days from now Christmas will be here and she'll sit on those stairs and she'll
be so excited.
What do you think's going to happen to her then?
She'd get excited.
Wouldn't she?
She'd have two whole days of getting excited and even more excitement wouldn't she?
So go ahead and tell her in the ways that only you can, so she understands what's
going to come.
Let me know how she reacts.
She's so excited.
She can't wait now.
So would you like to experience that as little Jelly bean again?
Mm…hmm.
So at the count of one once again, three-two-one…
hey little Jelly bean what's going on?
It's almost Christmas.
It is almost Christmas, how do you feel about that?
I can't wait to see.
You can't wait to see, can you?
No, I'm so excited.
Time's passing, the days, then and there you are on the stairs it's Christmas morning,
how is it?
I want to go downstairs?
Was it worth the wait?
Yes.
Oh, what a fantastic time.
One-two-three…
Angel in the room watching little Jelly bean.
Wasn't that something?
Mm…hmm.
How do you feel about little Jelly bean over there, having done all this?
She's so excited.
Isn't she?
Is she as special little girl.
And you've just given her a tremendous gift you realize that.
She was bored but now she realizes that boredom is just waiting to be transformed into excitement
because she got excited didn't she?
She did.
Let me ask you this, what Christmas morning more exciting knowing it was coming?
Yes.
So would it get even more exciting if you did the whole thing again knowing that it's
coming and it'll be more exciting still?
Are you ready to experience that?
Yeah.
Three-two-one…
hey little Jelly bean.
Hey.
Christmas is coming soon you know that don't you?
I do.
It's almost here.
I know.
Let the time pass.
You're sitting on the chair and there it is, it's Christmas morning.
Wow!
One-two-three back in the room watching little Jelly bean over there.
Wasn't that something?
Mm…hmm.
How do you feel about little Jelly bean, to be able to generate that kind of enthusiasm.
Isn't that something?
It feels so good.
Go ahead and tell her how proud you are, how she's a wonderful little girl, to be able
to experience such a wonderful thing.
She did a great job.
She did, didn't she?
Go ahead and tell her.
Did she get even more excited now that you told her that?
Yeah.
I think it's worth experiencing one more time don't you?
Yeah.
I think so too.
Three-two-one…
hey little Jelly bean, how's it going?
I'm so excited, I want to go downstairs now.
I bet you do.
I know you do.
I can see it.
Time passes, you're sitting on the stairs and it's right there it's Christmas and
you are inches away from those presents.
Isn't that the best?
Yes.
One-two- three back in the room watching little Jelly bean down there.
Whew!
Quite a rush hey?
Would you like to know what the best thing of this whole experience is?
Little Jelly bean over there was bored.
She was just coloring in her books, a normal boring day.
She had no idea what was coming but you did didn't you?
Mm…hmm.
Being able to share that with her you taught her to be excited for two whole days she could've
wasted being bored and sad.
You totally transformed that little girls' life at that point didn't you?
That's something you and I both know little Jelly bean has yet to find out.
Do you know what that is?
Mm…hmm.
That there are many more moments of excitement waiting for her in her life and no matter
how many boring periods she goes through, they're just waiting periods for something
amazing to happen aren't they?
If she knew the way that you know that these amazing moments were coming, do you think
she could possibly still be bored at any point in that timeline?
So go ahead and tell her.
Tell her what's coming.
Tell her the highlights.
Tell her all the best things and make sure she understands that just when she thinks
she should be getting bored, the best is yet to come.
Notice how her whole attitude changes.
It does doesn't it?
She gets so excited.
I told her one thing.
(Giggling)
And then the next thing gets better and better still doesn't it?
Mm…hmm.
Now go ahead and tell her how amazing life is going to be, so she gets to grow up knowing
that.
She gets to grow up knowing that any time she's even tempted to be bored, there's
no place for this anymore is it?
Then go ahead, give her a big hug, bring her inside you and let her grow up inside of you,
going through all those moments that used to be boredom but now there's excitement
in its place, because one good moment leads to another.
No matter what happens in between those moments, there's always more excitement and better
things so that she learns as she grows to 10-12-13-14 years old, 15 and all those changes
that come at that age, 18-20, growing up, going out into the world, 21-22, all those
moments that used to be boring are now filled with anticipation.
Filled with excitement and good things, all the way through until just sitting in this
room on a ship somewhere in LA and you know that as good as things were then, even better
things are yet to come don't you?
How do you feel about that?
I feel excited about that.
You do don't you?
As soon as you're ready breathe that all in, take that excitement and lock it inside
you because you've earned it.
You know for a fact, just as it happened back then it'll happen again.
Whenever you're ready you'll know because your eyes will come open and you'll bring
that excitement back with you knowing without a shadow of a doubt that you really have something
worth getting excited for, don't you?
Take your time and do that now.
There you go.
Hard to come back.
It is hard to come back isn't it, but you had to come back in order to go forward don't
you?
Absolutely!
That's where the next good stuff comes from isn't it?
Absolutely.
How are you doing right now?
Oh my gosh, it's hard to describe.
I understand.
Ridiculously happy.
I just can't…
Do you believe her?
Applause.
Overwhelming.
Beautiful.
Did I pull off my promise to you?
Absolutely.
Are you glad it came up?
I'm so glad it came up.
What a privilege.
It's so beyond words, like, every cell in my body feels like it's on fire with happiness,
like every hair on my head.
Long may it continue.
Now is it okay if we ask you question about your experience?
Please don't ask about the technicalities, etc., just ask about her experience and I
will explain the steps momentarily is that okay.
If you're curious about how or what she experienced.
She can answer that as she feels comfortable.
That's fine.
Questions
Guest: Could you describe what happened when he told you, I didn't hear the suggestion
but it sounded something like washed or something, when he told you to see little Jelly bean
in the room.
What happened in your mind when there was that separation where he told you to see that
girl there and be outside of yourself?
I saw her, but I don't know that I three-dimensionally saw her.
You were kind of aware that she was there.
We were having a conversation and I was telling her how good it's going to be on Christmas
day.
You didn't even ask about the Christmas day part, it was just the anticipation, but
I did go forward a little bit and I was whispering to her like, and you're going to get this.
That particular year was a big… it brought me back to one particularly specific year
that my dad did commercials as a director and he got all the Toys R' Us toys that
year.
Since no one else was married or had kids so he brought them all home that Christmas.
My parents didn't have much money but that Christmas was awesome, there was hardly room
for people.
It was magical.
I haven't thought of that experience for decades, so it wasn't in my awareness.
You weren't planning to go back there.
It was a complete surprise for me.
Perfect.
By the way, did you all see that we were more in the regression than the revivification?
How would you tell?
Her voice and mannerisms all became more childlike, did you notice that?
Do you mind saying a little about how you experienced that, like being little Jelly
bean at that time?
What did I experience about that?
Was it vivid?
It was vivid.
It was Technicolor.
Like, I wasn't seeing her I was her.
You all clearly saw that happen didn't you?
I felt like I was that little girl.
Thank you for coming up for this.
This is a wonderful example of what a classic regression looks like.
It's not the most intense regression, I've seen much more intense ones where there's
literally no awareness of future at that point, but it's probably in the mid-range of regressions.
You can see the voice changing, the mannerisms changing.
You've probably lost awareness of the fact that there's a ship around you at the time
being in that experience, would that be fair to say?
Yes.
Excellent.
So you now have a nice way of checking.
You know what a vacation looks like, they're feeling it so they can talk about it in a
relatively adult sort of way and this is going much more into the classical regression territory.
It's more intense than revivification.
Did you notice as you went back in time it became increasingly more intense and by the
time you land there it was totally, I'm here and there's nothing else I need to
pay attention to.
That gives you the whole range of experiences.
Any other questions at this point?
Guest: So this is the end of September and I'm just wondering what's Christmas this
year like?
I don't know.
Guest: I just wanted to see that.
Guest: It's a long story, so I'm surprised I understand.
You were talking about this good memory and then…
I will talk you through the process later on.
Right now if you have any questions…
I will take you step-by-step through everything, so don't worry about that.
Guest: I think we know the answer, but is there any doubt that hypnosis is a force for
good?
There's no doubt in my mind that it's a real experience.
It doesn't feel like fantasy.
It's a real profound experience, so I can see how this is going to relate to the healing
tool for people, because this profound happiness that I have it's not fake.
I have it and it was unexpected.
So once again it's the non-awareness set in action isn't it?
Guest: Igor, you stole my question but I have a follow up on that.
When you were in that child state and I could hear you giggling with a child's voice.
Were you at that time aware that you're also an adult?
How did that all work?
I wasn't paying attention to my adult self, so I'm sure at some level I was aware but
I was fully in that little girl space.
To give some structure around that, that's why I said she was in more of a mid-level
regression, right in the mid-stream of it, because there was a level awareness but there
was so little attention and so little observance of it that it didn't really matter.
In a full blown intense regression, even that little piece would just completely be absent.
Make sense?
So there's more than plenty for what we need to do here.
In fact, even a revivification is more than enough to get exactly the same kind of result,
but you happen to be fortunate enough to see a full blown regression which is great for
everyone.
It's great for you for experiencing it from the inside out what's possible.
Absolutely.
Any other questions or can we release Angel back into the wild?
Guest: Out of curiosity, do you remember at any time at that age remember seeing someone,
adult, with blonde hair, tall?
I don't think I understand the question.
He's asking basically, if you have now recollection of you being a girl and remembering some tall
stranger (yourself) talking to her and so on.
You can answer but I think I can predict what the answer's going to be.
We haven't messed with her memory.
What we've done is we've altered her relationship to the memory, because you know for a fact
that you had a point in time back when you were a little girl where you were bored?
Mm…hmm.
That hasn't changed as an idea.
Would it also be fair to say that there's an equal memory of her having the most amazing
time and it's almost like they're in parallel.
You know one actually happened and one didn't necessarily happen, but what they both feel
about it is real.
Would that be fair to say?
It did feel real.
So what we've done is created a parallel memory.
I haven't messed with the original ones, but she now has a new set of memories in her
nervous system to use as a focal point at the basis for future expectations.
I'm not messing with her memories because they're memories, why would I do that?
Does that help answer your question?
I don't remember all of it but I remember part of it about expecting good things and
I just feel that.
I don't know what you said, I'm not aware of that.
Guest: Thank you.
We'll come to that.
Okay, let's give her a nice round of applause.

Has Anyone Ever Said the R-Word to You? - Duration: 0:45.
I've heard somebody say the R-Word
When I heard the person say the R-Word I was quite taken back
Because it sounded like they were talking to the whole
They were talking not just to me but it was like everybody that has a disability
Could feel what the person said because not everybody, I mean everybody has feelings
But it can get a lot of people really down and sad.

I paint a grassy area with a yellowish green tone.
River stones on the shore.
I start with the reflection of the vegetation on the water.
This clear area reflects the sky.
With white I paint a waterfall.
Last reflections on the river using white.
I hope you liked it.
See you in the next video!

How Do You Feel When You Hear Someone Say the R-Word? - Duration: 0:22.
I just don't know how else to explain it...I just feel that way
And there is nothing that can take it away
I mean it stings...you
In such a way that sometimes cannot always be explained very well.

How Should You Spend Your Retirement Assets? - Duration: 5:31.
At its highest level, retirement planning isn't rocket science.
The sooner and more aggressively you fuel up your retirement assets, the sooner you'll
be launching into your ideal retirement – whether that means selling your business, quitting
your day job, or simply shifting the balance between your personal and professional activities
that you enjoy the most.
The thing is, you may be so busy preparing for your ideal retirement, you may not have
time left to think about the aftermath.
And yet, it's likely you haven't got money to burn.
So now that you've funded your retirement, what's the most tax-efficient way to spend
down those reserves?
That's an excellent "No Dumb Question."
Investing a few minutes today should help ensure that you don't waste your best tax-saving
choices in retirement.
For now, I've got one easy decision for you: Subscribe to my YouTube channel, and
I'll keep you notified of future posts.
In retirement, while you may get lucky and
enjoy a financial windfall you weren't counting on.
Once you've moved past your primary earning years, you know you're best off charting
your course based on the assets you already have "on board."
Thankfully, most of us with a career -- or a few -- under our belt should have enough
wealth to safely sustain our retirement.
That's the good news.
But it also means you probably have a wealth of possibilities to consider when deciding
which assets to tap first, next, and so on.
For example, you've got your own ordinary and tax-free saving accounts.
You've got Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, RRSPs...
Then there's your company retirement plans.
If you're a business owner, you may still have assets tied to your business.
If you're an executive, you may have stock options or other sources of compensation to
consider.
Now multiply all that by two if you're married.
And then add property interests you may want to sell during a downsizing.
Clearly, if you want to use your retirement "fuel" as efficiently as possible, you've
got some serious financial and tax planning opportunities ahead, as you approach and enter
into retirement.
Often, retirees want to tap into taxable savings first, leaving the tax-sheltered reserves
untouched for as long as possible.
BUT, when you turn 71 the government requires you to convert your RRSP into a RRIF and start
paying out certain taxable amounts each year.
So we have to factor this in.
Then there's deciding the best time for you and your spouse to start taking CPP benefits.
I've covered this in a past video, and it shows that it's a pretty personal decision,
with no single answer for everyone.
If you're a business owner, you'll want to wind down your business interests in alignment
as well.
For example, are you planning to make use of your lifetime capital gains exemption?
As I mentioned in a past video, you'll want to prepare for this one several years ahead
of time.
Fortunately, guess what?
You're definitely not the first person who could use some help sorting all this out!
At PWL, we've been through this … well, let's just say this isn't our first rodeo.
We've got some seriously road-tested processes for getting our clients ready for retirement.
I can't speak to how every advisor goes about it, but our retirement planning process
begins with separating out cash inflows and outflows.
In other words, we account for all the places your retirement money will be coming in from
– and I mean all of them.
And then we estimate how much money you're going to need for the lifestyle that you've got
in mind.
If your inflows and outflows don't line up, we've got tools like a Monte Carlo
analysis to help you decide how to bridge the gap.
So, part of your retirement planning processes involves those left-brained activities like
financial and tax planning; investment and wealth management.
But retirement planning is also highly personal.
All the calculations in the world won't add up if they're not going to get you to
where you really want to go.
So we ask our clients to think through a ton of questions with us.
When do you want to retire?
When can you afford to retire?
How much would you like to spend?
How much can you afford to spend?
Do you want to downsize your house or stay put?
What are your favourite activities, and how much time do you plan to spend on them?
Are there acquisitions you hope to make in the next little while, like a new car or a
cottage?
Who and what is important to you?
When and how might you want to transfer wealth?
With all that empirical and personal information on hand, you can more thoughtfully dip into
your wealth.
At PWL, we establish "buckets" that represent your spending wants and needs.
Then we help you fill them from your various "pools" of money.
We establish an order and priority – a retirement plan – that makes sense for you, your assets,
and your tax-efficient use of them.
Then we rinse and repeat, because "set and forget" won't cut it.
Your investments may perform better or worse than expected.
You and your personal circumstances may shift.
Regulatory changes may throw a monkey wrench into your best intentions.
For all these reasons and more, you'll want to revisit your retirement plan at least
once a year to make sure you're staying on track.
So, as you can see, retirement planning may not be rocket science.
But it's not a walk in the park either!

You have my heart, and we'll never be worlds apart
Maybe in magazines, but you'll still be my star
Baby, 'cause in the dark You can't see shiny cars
And that's when you need me there With you I'll always share
Because When the sun shines, we shine together
Told you I'll be here forever Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath that I'm a stick it out till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever Know that we still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella You can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella,
eh, eh, eh Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh,
eh, eh, eh These fancy things will never come in between
You're part of my entity, here for infinity When the world has took its part
When the world has dealt its cards If the hand is hard, together we'll mend your
heart Because
You can run into my arms It's okay, don't be alarmed
Come into me (There's no distance in between our love)
So I'm gonna let the rain pour I'll be all you need and more
Because It's raining, raining
Ooh, baby, it's raining, raining Baby, come into me
Come into me It's raining, raining
Ooh, baby, it's raining, raining You can always come into me
Come into me It's pouring rain
It's pouring rain Come into me
Come into me It's pouring rain

Love You And Miss You Too - Duration: 11:57.
This is it, the big day has arrived
What do you mean ?
Well your trial period just finished there, suddenly you have the right to your first business phone
Cool, thank you.
Ok I let you configure it and then you have all the procedures on the intranet
ciao
You're okay right now ? when you don't have your guitar in your hands you look different
Yeah, well, there's the work and the music. Like, it's cool
But, I have nobody to share anything with
Did you try some stuff like Snapchat ? People share everything and anything. You could put your gigs
Then who knows you may be able to find the woman of your life
Yeah but on that account, as much install tinder
Nah, Tinder makes me anxious
You see all these guys slide left and right to validate chicks
Creepy
Yeah, I do not know, I do not know what to do
At worst, you'll see
I'll go away. Ciao
Ciao Brother
Oh, cool are you here now? What are you becoming?
You have the wrong guy because we do not know each other at all.
t's not Anthony from Digitaleo?
No, Anthony resigned two months ago but I had to pick up his phone probably
I just got off the subway and got what you need to have already in your life
to know this moment of extra lucidity that
this is it. Everyone is the same everyone takes the subway
everyone thinks about things
but nobody does anything about it. In fact nobody say
I will write about it and I will say what I think
it is important
All this to say that, we must do it when we have this moments of extra lucidity it's funny to put them on paper to read it
we are all fucking geniuses
Those they do not open or they do not say
it's still normal people. So say what you think when you think
write it and it will make it
I'm in a state of insomnia, I'm sure it's due to the full moon
I am in the same situation
If we are both up we can perhaps discuss no? What do you do in life
I've been at digitaleo for almost four months
But I mean what do you do outside of your work
It's not really the job that defines us in the end - We have just assembled a small band of
Indie folk with friends but I do not know if we'll ever make money
but in any case it's always nice to be together
It's nice. At least you invest yourself in something that you really like
I know that when I do that it really makes me feel good - I completely agree
Eh I just see "Cuisines & Dependances" it's a play I'm sure you'd like a lot
Tadam! New drawing! What do you think ?
What are you doing ?
I am composing a song
Small OKLM sandwich
You don't think it's weird it's been two months that we discuss non-stop and ..
we never met
Yes it's a little weird especially that I have the impression to know you since already too long
It's the same, often I imagine you're here beside me
Do you want to meet at the coffee shop downstairs ?
Right now ?
Ok, I'm coming
I'm happy to have met you
Yo, what do you become?
It's been a thousand years since we did not saw eachother, I'm not even sure to recognize your face
I'm sorry, with the work I was pretty busy
but hey if you want we'll have a party soon
Your girl agrees? The rules have not changed much since she spends all her time with you ?
Already would be nice to see I do not invite who I want at home
yeah ok
Small party tomorrow night?
Well no I wanted to finish my drawing and then put it in color and everything
Yeah but I never see Xavier. We could invite people that would be cool
OK if you want
I will buy martini
But tomorrow we really put our shit together. I finish my drawing and then you can do the guitar
yeah I'll try to do that
no but do not say that you will try do it.
I'm just a little lazy but yes we'll do that
Yeah, you do not care anymore
Since we are together, you stay on the couch, you do nothing.
Because we are together now?
You adn your fucking labels all the time - Okay but here you play with words
You justify all behavior with your doubts. You focus on it and you do nothing
I just want to have a good evening actually. So we talk about it tomorrow but for the moment it's okay
We'll talk about it tomorrow yeah
What are you talking? It's over?
I do not want to continue like this anymore
you tell me that by text ?
it's the best time, do not you think?
I did not want to wait for you to come back. I needed to say it now
Wait there I do not understand what's wrong with you?
It's been a while since I think about it.
So I have a lot of insecurity on both of us and it blocks me to do more music and spend my time on the couch
the day I'm at this shitty job and finally the little free time I have I spend with you and we do nothing
Well come out and see your friends. I do not want
to reassure you all the time about what you have to do. I too am a
full person with my problems my stuff to manage but
you put yourself in this situation alone
no but I know it's not necessarily you and you're right but
I need to deconstruct all that so that I can move forward
So,
it's over we made our lives each on our side?
I honestly think it's the best thing for both of us
I'll miss you
You too
