Waching daily Aug 4 2018

This feels the best that I felt in a while You got me cravin' for the drug they call your smile

My type, I smelled trouble a mile away Is it paranoia or you really there?

He's a beautiful mistake, the one that inspires Hey there, how you dared to play with my fire

I said no means no but you know that it's true My eyes get stuck when they're looking at you

Tick tick tock, clock's faster now Maybe my heart's reaching out

I've played it all boy, you trying something new?

Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you

All else starts to fade in that moment

Please don't be a game, be you You're the sound that I can't ignore

Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you

Ain't good cuz you're all I want and

I know you're trapped in your mind with me too Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you

So scared but I'm in for another ride Ever heard of two wrongs making it right

Restless, hoping it could be just an obsession I see you around, my heart's in treason

Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you All else starts to fade in that moment

Please don't be a game, be you You're the sound that I can't ignore

Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you Ain't be good cuz you're all I want and

I know you're trapped in your mind with me too Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you

Heard him say it's never enough I watch him every day, won't admit if its love

If you're at stake I'll keep the ship from sinking Stop me now, I keep thinkin thinkin thinkin

I made you a mix tape, boy, you're my best mate Don't care if it's a game until it's too late

Got me thinkin bout, thinkin bout how you so fine That glitter in your eyes when you said you're mine

The war behind the innocent face I know better than to try and predict the next page

How you give it all you got, nothing you can't do I didn't yet talk about the way you move

Its insane cuz the rebel in my brain is attracted Don't care what they say guess who taught me that tactic

My partner in crime, I know where I belong I tried to hide it but you left hickeys on my song

So cinematic, ends with you and I In case you're wrong, I don't wanna be right

Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you All else starts to fade in that moment

Please don't be a game, be you You're the sound that I can't ignore and

Got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you Ain't good cuz you're all I want and

I know you're trapped in your mind with me too

You got me thinkin thinkin thinkin bout you

Nicole Mann: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Today, NASA announced the astronauts who will be on crewed missions with Boeing and SpaceX commercial flights.

Nicole Aunapu Mann will be on the Boeing Starliner crew.

This is a historic move for NASA and the first time NASA astronauts will fly with commercial flights. The astronauts will be crewing the first flight tests and missions of the Boeing CST-100 Starliner and the SpaceX Crew Dragon.

Here is what you need to know about Nicole Mann and these commercial flights.

NASA had originally planned to fly unmanned test flights this month, with crewed test missions in October and November.

Those have all been pushed back.

SpaceX's uncrewed flight is scheduled for November 2018, and its crewed flight is scheduled for April 2019.

Boeing's uncrewed flight is scheduled for late 2018/early 2019, and its crewed flight is scheduled for mid-2019.

She & Her Husband, Travis, Who Now Have a Son, Were Often Deployed to Different Combat Locations at the Same Time.

Nicole Mann's husband is Travis R. Mann.

They have one child, six-year-old Jackson, and they live in Houston, Texas, NCAA reported.

She and Travis met in flight school.

Travis is in the Navy.

Sometimes they would both be deployed to active combat situations at the same time but serving in different locations.

That was difficult, she told NCAA.

When she decided to pursue astronaut candidacy, she was pregnant with their first child.

She and her husband sat down, talked about her life plan, and pursued her dream together.

She said that her husband and son get her full attention when she's at home, from the moment she walks in the door.

(And she and her husband talk a lot during the day too.) But she told Spark Plug Labs that the one thing she wishes she had more of is time.

She spends about 45 minutes in the morning with her son and three hours at night before he goes to bed at 8.

"I like to leave that time uninterrupted," she said.

She's also taken her son to work at NASA so he can see what she does.

She's a Talented Soccer Player Who Received A Lot of Support from Her Parents.

She's originally from Penngrove in northern California.

Growing up, she played soccer all the way through high school and continued in the Naval Academy.

Her older sister, Kirsten, focused on gymnastics, NCAA reported.

Mann said her parents, Howard and Victoria Aunapu, were very supportive of her love of soccer.

"My parents provided a wonderful support net and drove me all over California for soccer tournaments.".

Her father is a retired auto mechanic and her mother is a former nail salon owner.

The taught her to be curious and to take pride in learning.

In 2017, the United Soccer Coaches awarded her with the Jerry Yeagley Award for Exceptional Personal Service.

Naval Academy coach Carin Gabarra said about the award: "She was a standout student-athlete at the Naval Academy and I knew early on in coaching her that her future was bright in whatever area she would choose to pursue.

Everything that she has accomplished to date is amazing and a true testament to her character, work ethic and drive.".

Mann played soccer while she was in the Academy, including a streak of four winning seasons.

Mann started 74 of her 75 appearances and helped guide the Navy to its first postseason in 1996.

As a senior, she captained the Navy through an undefeated campaign for the first conference title in 1998.

Oumou Kanoute: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 11:07.

Oumou Kanoute: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Oumou Kanoute is a student at Smith College.

She is spending her summer teaching teaching chemistry to high school students as part of the college's STEM program.

Kanoute was reading and eating lunch in a dorm dining hall when a staff member called police on her.

"Today someone felt the need to call the police on me while I was sitting down reading, and eating in a common room at Smith College," Kanoute wrote on Facebook.

Her post about the incident includes brief video of her interaction with police, one of whom appears to apologize to the sophomore at the women's college in Massachusetts.

An apology was issued by the college and it will investigate but will not identify the person who called police on Kanoute.

Smith College describes itself as "one of the largest of the prestigious Seven Sisters women's colleges, Smith educates women of promise for lives of distinction.

Here's what you need to know:.

Kanoute, Who 'Worked My Hardest' to Get Into Smith, is a Student, But Was Teaching Summer Science Classes & Was Taking a Break When Police Were Called to Check Her Out.

'All I Did Was Be Black'.

Kanoute, a student, a teaching assistant and residential advisor, said a "white staff member at the school reported me to the police as a suspicious black male sitting in the common room." The staffer called 911.

Kanoute explained that "Smith College routinely outsources their summer security to the Northampton Police Department, so it was particularly traumatizing to realize that someone with a lethal weapon, and the full authority of the state of Massachusetts might have been called to respond to the incident.".

The cop says, "We were wondering why you were here." Kanoute, in a polite and calm manner responded she was eating lunch.

She had to go to explain to an armed police officer that she was teaching for the summer.

"So I'm sitting down minding my damn business when someone calls cops on me while I'm just chilling.

This is why being Black in America is scary.".

The cop questions her.

And then later says he was just checking because the staff member didn't know who she was.

And identified her as a "black male.".

According to her Facebook, Kanoute attended Westminster School, a private, coeducational boarding and day, college-preparatory school in Connecticut.

There she was a stand-out academician and runner.

She said she worked hard to get into Smith and the incident has her at once incredulous and frightened.

"This person didn't try to bring their concerns forward to me,but instead decided to call the police.

I did nothing wrong, I wasn't making any noise or bothering anyone.

All I did was be black.".

Smith College Offered Lengthy 'Diversity' Statements Beginning a Day Later Once Kantoune's Facebook Post Went Viral.

The first statement was issued by the college's Interim Director of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity; Institutional Equity Officer and Title IX Coordinator, Amy Hunter which said in part that an employee reported "an unknown person who 'seemed to be out of place' in a Smith building where the dining area was in use by the college's summer programs.

Kanoute, from New York, wrote the cop spoke with the Kanoute "a Smith undergraduate student of color, who was on a break from her on-campus job.

Campus Police found nothing suspicious about the student's presence.".

Hunter said the "incident has raised concerns in our community about bias and equity," and goes on to say the college won't "tolerate race- or gender-based discrimination in any form.

" Hunter siad she "reached out" to Kanoute and that she'll "conduct an investigation of the incident with the employee, with Human Resources and with Campus Police.

It took another day for the college president, Kathleen McCarthy, to make a statement.

It reads in part, "I begin by offering the student involved my deepest apology that this incident occurred and to assure her that she belongs in all Smith spaces.

This painful incident reminds us of the ongoing legacy of racism and bias in which people of color are targeted while simply going about the business of their daily lives.

It is a powerful reminder that building an inclusive, diverse and sustainable community is urgent and ongoing work.".

But McCarthy makes it plain that while the incident will be investigated, the outcome will not be public.

"…the college is engaging a third-party investigator to conduct a thorough review of this incident.

Although privacy laws preclude Smith from making public personnel-related outcomes of any investigation, I commit to sharing with you any recommendations on policies, procedures or further community training that result.".

Kanoute Wants Smith to Name the Person Who Called Police, Set Up a Private Conversation For Her With That Person & Institute Mandatory Campus Wide Conversation'.

Her statement to Smith reads in part, "I recognize and appreciate the effort that you all continuously put into inclusion on this campus.

However, we must be intentional about addressing this racist incident and systemic racism on campus.

Your response has been helpful, but it is incomplete.

I will be unable to move forward from this incident without the following personal demands.".

Kanoute asked for a "private conversation between me, that employee, and the administration focused on reconciliation and acknowledgement of this wrongdoing from the employee and the college," and an apology during the meeting but explains that importantly, "this process must precede any type of decision for or against punishment for this outrageous and racist act.

Kanoute, who ran cross-country for Smith in 2017, also said there must be a "mandatory campus-wide conversation and new school policy concerning racism, gender, and policing that centers the voices of students and faculty of color when we return from summer vacation in Fall 2018.

Kanoute is Traumatized & Said The Incident Has Harmed Her & Incidents Like This, Far Too Commonplace Now, Make Being Black in America.

Kanoute said the person needs to be confronted and "acknowledge the harm done to me as s student.

"…it was particularly traumatizing to realize that someone with a lethal weapon, and the full authority of the state of Massachusetts might have been called to respond to the incident.

She called on the college to share her video.

It has not appeared on the school's social media as of this posting.

This narrative where white people are calling law enforcement on black people doing every day things has increase with frequency and is now, at least publicly, a daily almost hourly trend.

And while some of these episodes ave led to memes and catchy hashtags, the prevailing out-in-the-open racism and trend to bring in police by calling 911 or reporting on people living their lives as being potentiality criminal could have tragic consequences.

It's also clear sign that white Americans feel empowered to display racism publicly and act as citizen police when questioning the presence of a person of color doing something otherwise ordinary.

"It's outrageous that some people question my being at Smith College, and my existence overall as a women of color.

I was very nervous, and had a complete metldown after this incident," Kanoute wrote.

"It's just wrong and uncalled for.

No students of color should have to explain why they belong at prestigious white institutions.

I worked my hardest to get into Smith, and I deserve to feel safe on my campus.".

People are Outraged, Including Smith Alumni.

Wayne Cheney: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 9:03.

Wayne Cheney: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Wayne Cheney, an Iowa man with a history of stalking arrests, has told the news media that authorities interviewed him about missing college student Mollie Tibbetts.

Cheney lives in walking distance of pig farms searched by authorities in the disappearance of Tibbetts, the University of Iowa student who vanished in Brooklyn, Iowa, seemingly without a trace.

Interest in nearby hog farms intensified after reports that a person found a red shirt that could possibly belong to Mollie.

The FBI is also involved in the case.

Here's what you need to know:.

Wayne Cheney Says the Police Questioning of Him Was a Waste of Time.

Cheney himself told Iowa news media that authorities had questioned him in the Mollie Tibbetts disappearance but he declared it was all a waste of time.

You can see his interview with WHO-TV above.

Cheney told WHO-TV that he was questioned for two hours and didn't remember what he was asked.

"I just thought it was a waste of time but oh well," he told the television station, adding, "I don't know who those two were but they took me down to the fire station Tuesday and questioned me for two hours.

I don`t remember what they asked me.".

According to Crime Online, Cheney denied knowing Mollie or having anything to do with her disappearance.

Wayne Cheney Has Two Previous Stalking Cases.

FacebookMollie Tibbetts.

Authorities have not called Wayne Cheney a suspect.

However, his past criminal history may have helped draw their attention to him.

According to WHO-TV's exclusive by reporter Justin Surrency, Cheney pleaded guilty in two previous stalking cases.

The cases were from 2009 and 2014 and span two counties – Poweshiek and Marion, the television station reported.

One of those cases resulted in a protective order being filed against Cheney, Crime Online reported.

Cheney lives in Deep River, Iowa.

UK Daily Mail asked Cheney about his previous arrests and he told the British news site, "I was arrested in 2011 for breaching a restraining order.

It was an ex girlfriend.

That was the only time." He lives about 15 miles from Brooklyn, Iowa.

According to Daily Mail, Cheney is far from the only person police have interviewed; they've also spoken to :a suspect in an assault on a female jogger on Sunday while another man was questioned in Pella, an hour from Brooklyn, after he was spotted taking covert photos of girls," the site says, but police have not identified any suspect.

A Person Found a Red Shirt That May Be Similar to One Mollie Owned, Reports Allege.

What might be a major – and ominous – break in the case was revealed on August 3, 2018.

A person mowing the lawn near the Lincoln Wildfire Reserve found a red shirt, Fox News reported.

Authorities have not confirmed this account.

Although it's not clear whether the shirt belonged to Mollie Tibbetts, according to Fox News, employees at the daycare center where she worked wear red shirts.

Previous reports indicated Mollie's red work shirt might have been missing, leading some to theorize she was taken in the morning not at night.

However, Kevin Winkler of the Iowa Department of Public Safety, said at a press conference that he was unable to confirm any items of Mollie's had been found and her mother told UK Daily Mail that she found two of Mollie's red work shirts in her house but is not sure if there ever was a third.

The shirt was found near a pig farm authorities had already searched, and they reignited the search in the area around the farm after the shirt's discovery, Fox reported.

There is a $172,000 reward for information leading to Mollie's whereabouts.

Authorities Allegedly Searched Wayne Cheney's Home & Cell Phone.

According to Crime Online, Cheney is a pig farmer and his cell phone, garage and home were searched.

However, WHO-TV reports that Cheney lives near hog farms without giving his occupation.

Cheney, 56, told UK Daily Mail he sold the pig farm facility to Prestage Farms five or six years ago.

Fox News, without naming him, said that FBI investigators had spoken to a local pig farmer and asked to search his residence without a warrant.

"They were there for nearly two hours, taking photos of the interior of the home and also searching his garage.

He said investigators then asked to interview him off the property and kept his cell phone overnight to check his records," Fox News reported.

Mollie's mother, father, and boyfriend have joined police and others in trying to find the missing student.

Mollie was last seen jogging near her house but she sent her boyfriend a Snapchat later that night, so it's possible she disappeared the next morning before work.

Her boyfriend was out of town at work and Mollie was home alone dog sitting when she disappeared.

Mollie's passport, wallet, debit card and driver's license were left behind, Daily Mail reports.

You can read more about the disappearance of Mollie Tibbetts here.

A Previous Sighting in Missouri Was Ruled Out & Authorities Are Searching in Poweshiek County, Iowa.

KCRG-TV reports that there was a large police search occurring for Mollie between Guernsey and Deep River in Poweshiek County on August 3, 2018.

That's a location in Iowa.

Authorities had said previously that they were scouring Mollie's digital devices and social media presence – including her ever-present fitbit – for clues.

Those hoping to find Mollie alive had their hopes raised when it was reported that a person claimed to have seen a woman resembling Tibbetts in a Kearney Missouri truck stop.

However, it was later revealed that authorities had ruled that sighting out and say the woman in the truck stop was not Mollie Tibbetts.

Judge Joseph Kirby: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 8:53.

Judge Joseph Kirby: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Warren County Court Judge Joseph Kirby of the Warren County Juvenile Division in Ohio.

Judge Jospeh Kirby has found himself on the other side of the law.

A lawsuit against the Ohio juvenile court judge was filed in federal court August 3.

The parents of three teenagers are named as the plaintiffs.

They accuse him of discrimination against transgender children, as a result of his decisions to deny transgender adolescents to legally change their names.

The families have brought the case to the 12th District Court of Appeals.

Here's what you need to know.

Judge Kirby is Accused of Discrimination in the Lawsuit.

Judge Joseph Kirby was presented the lawsuit on August 3.

The families involve accuse him of discrimination against transgender minors.

The parents of three teenagers are named in the lawsuit.

They include the parents of one teenager whom Kirby has already denied a name change request.

A second plaintiff has a hearing scheduled for August 14.

The third plaintiff is a single parent who has not yet filed an official petition to change her child's name.

Two of the teenagers involved were 15 and the third is 17.

According to the Lawsuit, Judge Kirby Indicated One of the Teens Was Influenced by Caitlyn Jenner to Request a Name Change.

Cincinnati TV station WCPO obtained a copy of the lawsuit.

The parents of the teen whom Judge Kirby already ruled against say the judge suggested that their child's reasoning for wanting a name change was not sincere.

Judge Kirby indicates the teenager had been influenced by Bruce Jenner's decision to change his name to Caitlyn Jenner.

The TV station published exchanges between the judge and teen's parents from that court hearing.

Judge: Well, explain to me the process.

When did [child's name} come to you and tell you that she associates herself as a boy? Father: It was actually last August.

Judge: Kind of when he [Jenner] made the papers and everybody was doing it kind of thing? Mother: No, I don't believe so.

Judge: Was it about the time that it kind of made headlines about a year and a half ago? Everybody was talking about all the transgender transformations were coming out in the paper?… I just look at Bruce Jenner set the stage nationally for it, maybe even all of the world.

In That Initial Decision, Judge Kirby Said The Teen Could Request a Name Change as an Adult.

Judge Joseph Kirby told the parents and the teen in the first case that she could request a name change as an adult.

That's according to a court transcript that was attached to the lawsuit, and shared by the Dayton Daily News.

The transcript read, "The court is sympathetic to the parents of the child and their desire to assuage their child.

In essence, the court isn't saying 'no' to the name change.

The court is simply saying 'not yet.' Age.

Develop. Mature.".

The lawsuit filed in federal court August 3 also lists other instances of transgender name request in Judge Kirby's court.

It found that Judge Kirby has granted name change requests from at least six adults.

But he has denied similar request from at least three adolescents.

Attorney Josh Langdon Said Judge Kirby's Decision To Deny the Name Change Causes "Irreparable Harm" to the Teenagers and is Unconstitutional.

Attorney Josh Langdon is the co-counsel on the case representing the families of the transgender teens.

He shared a statement on Facebook after filing the lawsuit against Judge Kirby in federal court.

Langdon states that Judge Kirby "violated the equal protection rights of transgender teenagers" when he refused to allow them to legally change their names.

Langdon stressed that denying the name change can be dangerous for the teens.

The statement reads, "Denying transgender children the ability to legally change their names until age 18 can lead to significant and irreparable harm, and increases their risk of being outed and bullied, having violence perpetrated against them, having depressive symptoms, and attempting suicide.".

The parents named in the federal lawsuit are not seeking financial damages.

The suit states they want the federal court to declare Judge Kirby's decisions unconstitutional.

Joseph Kirby Has Spent the Vast Majority of His Legal Career Behind the Bench.

Joseph Kirby has been a judge for more than 20 years.

He began his legal career after graduating from the Salmon P.

Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1995.

He was admitted to practice law in November, 1995 by the Ohio Supreme Court.

According to his court bio, Kirby's first assignment behind the bench was in 1996 at the Warren County Juvenile Court as a part-time magistrate.

In 2005, he was named as the Area II Judge of Warren County Court by then-governor Bob Taft.

He was re-elected to hat position in 2006 and 2012.

Judge Kirby had been presiding over the Warren County Probate/Juvenile Court since 2013.

Governor John Kasich appointed him to the position.

He was re-elected to the position in 2014.

He did not have an opponent in that election.

In addition to his judge duties, Joseph Kirby also teaches criminal justice at Miami University Hamilton.

He is also a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force Reserve.
