Tags? Ranking on YouTube? What? So many questions that's all gonna be answered

right now.

Hello creator what's going on my name is Ra'liyah Blythe welcome back to

so you can know when I upload. Most of you guys upload on your computer right?

but if you don't it's okay once you upload a video and you see

three dots next to your videos tap Edit and then you'll see something

called tags and when you're uploading a video on your PC there will already be a

thing about tags on it and you're like ooh what are tags? Like what is this? I'm

literally gonna ignore it because I don't know to do and I don't want to

mess something up. Well my friend you're missing out because this could be a

crucial thing to your youtube channel this could make or break your channel. It

may look complicated at first or you might not know what to do but it's very

simple and very cool to do because I like doing this it's kind of like one of

my favorite things probably not one of my favorites but it's pretty close to it.

What are tags? Tags are the key words or phrases that you can put in so people

will know exactly what your video is about. It's not necessarily what the

people will see but if you put in enough tags related to your video then people

might actually see that video when you type into something on YouTube and you

look up the search results. Usually it's about what you actually put when you

were searching that's what the tags are for basically you're typing in in the

tags what people might type in when they're searching something up. If you're

really specific then you can probably rank. Ranking is when when you have your

search result you see like the top video and then you see like other videos of

the search you'll just see a rows and rows of videos. It's all related to what you

typed in and your search results. You always want to put yourself at the top

of that search rank because that's the first video that they see they'll start

looking and they're like okay okay this is a good thumbnail

okay the title is nice okay let's skip like up this seems a good thumbnail this

seems nice boom and they click the video and walk but obviously you need your

thumbnails to look decent but the only way that they'll even see your videos if

it is if you're ranking or you're close to being ranking. A tag example could

be if you are you're a tagged example could be if you're making a video about

showing people how to make a thumbnail. People in their search results could be

like how to make a thumbnail boom that's a tag just put in your tags how to make

thumbnail. Another tag could be how to make a youtube thumbnail another tag

could be thumbnail and I would make sure to make it as specific as possible the

more specific your tag is the more chances of you being ranked. It's because

everyone could put thumbnail as their tag or as one of their tags

not everyone's going to rape because a lot of people put thumbnails as their

tag if they're doing on how to make a thumbnail video just try to make it

really really specific like how to make a thumbnail in 2018 that's pretty

specific but you can get in deeper and deeper into it a long times it doesn't

have to be long it can be short but just make sure it's really specific and

really dives into what your video is about and you could be it easily ranked

and up there and people can see your videos; because if you're not ranking

then you're probably all the way on like the fifth page and nobody wants to

scroll through pages and pages pages and page. They want to find their video on

like the top 10 15 videos ish so the more specific you are the better chances

of you being ranked.

Here are three little things to tell you how to rank. As I said be very specific

and try not to do generic tags. Getting Tube Buddy or the Tube Buddy Mobile app and

upgrading it to a pro then you will be able to unlock more things and be able

to get more information about tag I'll do a Tube Buddy review or a Tube Buddy

video pretty soon so I can teach you guys how to do that if you don't know

about it. I had a video I don't remember it was on my other channel where I was

ranking ranking ranking ranking ranking ranking because I used Tube Buddy and then

on most of my tags I was ranking and I was like oh my gosh

like where did I do this I was like oh yeah I used Tube Buddy! Another tag that

you can put in to rank maybe putting your title as a tag because your title

is very specific and your title is very different than what you would probably

put up the tags since that's like your title. It'll be easier to see your videos

if it's ranking and you use tags so make sure to use tags to make it easier for

people to find your videos.

But how do you know if it's ranking and which number you're on in the ranking

scale well it's very very simple. They'll tell you exactly if you're ranking or

not just go on to a video that you have posted unto your channel and

then you look at your tags and then you see if there's a green number. If someone

types in that specific tag that the numbers next to inside of the search

result then that number is where it is in the search results ranking. Comment down
