10 Most Dangerous Minerals You Should Not Try! - Duration: 12:18.
welcome to TTI welcome to a whole new world of science minerals are inorganic
substances with a defined chemical composition that can be found all over
the Earth's surface they're composed of various solid and inorganic chemical
elements and they commonly have a crystal structure these miracles of
nature are very important because of their use in different areas of human
activity they're used for manufacturing many products such as working equipment
electronics and building materials however some minerals are very beautiful
and they could be too dangerous for human beings in their environment when
they're extracted and processed this video will show that top 10 most
dangerous minerals around the world number 10 pyrite iron pyrite looks very
shiny and silvery brass metallic in color and which is also known as fool's
gold due to its resemblance to gold actually it's a semiconductor material
which is also used as the cathode and sometimes is used to make marcasite
jewelry and it's not useless at all people use it actually to make batteries
radio receivers and they even use it in the paper industry back in the 16th and
17th century pyrite was actually used as an igniter for firearms if you take
pyrite and hit it against a metal it'll actually spark which is how pyrite even
got its name as pyre is the Greek word for fire it's the worst polluting agent
which acidifies ground water and streams due to the acid mine drainage from
mining waste in the presence of air pirate oxidation releases highly toxic
metals into the atmosphere one of them is arsenic heavy metal releasing
metalloids from this mineral are very toxic to humans pyrite is no longer
commercially mined because sulfur can easily be collected as a byproduct of
natural gas and oil processing which puts an end to that nowadays pyrite is
extracted only for study purposes and scientific investigations feldspar
feldspars are a group of three rock forming techno silicate minerals they
are aluminum silicates of sodium calcium and potassium metals and mostly it's
produced by Italy and Turkey also feldspars have small amounts of
radioactive uranium that form radon gas and may cause a lung cancer these
minerals are also a source of lead emissions that may be dangerous for the
environment they are used to manufacture ceramics dinnerware Building tiles
artificial teeth and abrasive dust other varieties of these minerals are used as
gemstones number eight hydroxyapatite this is a naturally occurring most
stable form of calcium phosphate the element phosphorus for your gardens
fertilizers and even fluoride in your tap water comes from hydroxyapatite the
appetite has variants the hydroxyapatite is one of the main components of tooth
enamel and the fluoride apatite is added to water to prevent tooth cavities
having healthy teeth and bones is essential but hydroxyapatite exposure
during mining or its extraction process is hazardous as it can accumulate in the
heart valves and arteries actually many people die because of this
hydroxyapatite accumulation in the hearts valves and arteries every year as
this condition may cause constriction in the blood flow or a total blood flow
blockage
Galina Galina also known as lead glance is a mineral composed of octahedral lead
sulfide it's relatively insoluble in water in ancient Egypt Galena was used
as I make up but I advise you to always wash your hands after handling Galena if
it's released into the environment it produces severe environmental
consequences even ingesting small amounts of lead can cause brain damage
or death or Onslow exposure it can stop the development of the nervous system
and fetuses and children it can also cause cardiovascular diseases in adults
this mineral is often found in crystal forms that have led as main components
and some minerals can have a little amount of silver to saroo site and angle
sites are two byproducts of Galena weathering these elements are even more
dangerous than Galena the most important Galena deposits are in the US UK Germany
and Australia silver extraction from Galena is done in Colorado Idaho Utah
and Montana in the u.s. number six
fluorspar fluoride is a soluble mineral which is a compound of fluorspar it may
cause a severe bone disease known as skeleton fluorosis fluorspar is produced
in big amounts that's why 10 million people in Ginsu
China have affected in the mining of this mineral
in that region fluorspar is used as a fluxing agent to cast iron and steel for
the production of glass enamel microscope and telescopic lenses at
present China is the main floor spar producer followed by Mexico Mongolia and
Russia number five
quartz inhalation of quartz nanoparticles over a very long period of
time will cause some serious diseases such as silicosis lung cancer kidney
diseases and weakens the immune system of the body approximately 3.2 million
workers in the USA factories are exposed to silica dust this is the second
richest mineral on the Earth's surface quartz originates from different forms
and this includes silica sand crystals stones and Tripoli quartz has a great
commercial application in the oil industry and in manufacturing electronic
and optical products most of the commercial quartz is produced from seed
crystal which is also known as chips on the other hand natural quartz crystals
are used as gemstones u.s. and Brazil are the primary producers of natural
crystal quartz whereas Canada Brazil Germany Madagascar China South Africa
and Venezuela are the primary producers of quartz chips cinnabar it's the most
beautiful and toxic mineral to handle on earth at the same time it's the world's
main source of mercury and has been mined as far back as the Neolithic Age
and has been extracted since the Neolithic period this mineral is
insoluble in water and upon oxidation it produces toxic compounds such as
methyl mercury and dimethyl mercury cinnabar is lethal and small
concentrations and it can be absorbed through the respiratory tract bowels or
from the skin the compounds originated from cinnabar can affect the nervous
system severely and they can also cause problems and the development of fetuses
and children it's bright red color made people in the Middle East and
pre-columbian America think it had some magical and medicinal properties number
Senna cite this mineral is the member of the Mesa silicate family it is an
important source of beryllium which is a toxic element that can induce lung
cancer and severe lung inflammatory diseases such as Burley OSIS and
chemical pneumonitis Burley OSIS mostly occurs due to over sensitivity of lungs
to beryllium and causes the development of small inflammatory nodules called
granulomas however beryllium is used as a component for the windows of x-ray
tubes as a neutron moderator in nuclear reactors or as a structural material for
satellites high-speed planes spaceships missiles and pieces of communication
devices in the past this mineral was also used in the ceramics industry but
it was banned because after breathing beryllium dust workers were at the
highest risk to develop the lung diseases number two
area night area night is a natural fibrous mineral of sodium potassium and
calcium it's found in the group of the silicate minerals that are called
zeolites exposure to area night may cause diseases such as mesothelioma
which is a where type of cancer and originates from super malignant
mesothelioma cells the mesothelium is a membrane that forms the lining of
several body cavities this mineral has been found in volcanic ash that has been
altered by weathering effects and groundwater area night mineral has
caused a considerable number of deaths in Turkey it's mining has been banned
since the 1980s but exposure to this dangerous mineral can happen during
zeolite production and exploitation which is still a commercial business
nowadays number one Costa delight this mineral also known as blue asbestos is
considered the most dangerous mineral in the world exposure to this fibrous
mineral causes lethal diseases cross it alight as any other type of asbestos it
is used to manufacture commercial and industrial products this includes tiles
to cover the roofs floors and walls Cement products and it was also used to
insulate steam engines in the past christina light mining was carried out
in western australia bolivia and south africa but now the production of this
mineral has been banned due to its severe health risk for humans as dr.
Christopher Wagner discovered that Crystal Light is associated with
mesothelioma in 18% of mining workers thanks for watching
glad I don't have any of these in my mineral collection which mineral do you

Amigurumi BEARS IN LOVE | ZAKOCHANE MISIE - p. 3 - Duration: 25:39.
Hi, I'm Magda from Ami Little Creature
In part 3 I crochet arms and attach them to the body using plastic joints.
I also sew the head to the body (insert plastic tube before).
Have a nice watching & crocheting!
Firstly I crochet ARMS - YarnArt Happy, crochet hook 3 mm.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR [6]
or I crochet ch 2 and insert the hook in 2nd chain from hook because it is hard to make MR with the fluffy yarn.
and work 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 6 inc [12]
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 [18]
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 [24]
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 [30]
Rnd 6-10: 30 sc [30]
See you at the end of rnd 10.
I finished rnd 10.
Rnd 11: (3 sc, dec) x 6 [24]
Rnd 12: (2 sc, dec) x 6 [18]
Rnd 13: (7 sc, dec) x 2 [16]
Then add stuffing and add it steadily as you go through next rounds.
I finished rnd 13.
I put some stuffing, but not overstuff because I will shape the paw later.
Rnd 14-26: 16 sc [16]
See you at the end of rnd 26.
I finished rnd 26,
add stuffing.
Rnd 27: (2 sc, dec) x 4 [12]
I finished rnd 27.
There is only rnd 28 to do.
But now it's time to put plastic joints.
I have ready joints but I show you also
how to join the limbs without ready joints, using simple buttons.
Insert the plastic joint between rnd 26-27
You can adjust it.
And we cannot insert the joint in neck placement.
As you can see here in Mr Bear arms.
We should place them where the arms should be, a few rounds below the neck.
The paw is a bit below the bottom.
I just try it on.
And remember to place the arms along the side of the body (regarding front and back)
It is about 6 rounds below the neck.
The first part of the joint is inside the arm sticking out of the body
I have the second part - the washer which should be put on the sticking part inside the body.
And finally I put the end to lock the joints.
I'll probably burn the end using a hot spoon to secure it better.
If you haven't plastic joints, you can use four buttons - two for each limb.
I choose two black buttons.
Take a piece of yarn (my yarn is red to show you better the joint connection).
Draw the yarn through the holes in the button.
Two-hole button is enough but I have only four-hole so have no choice.
Then thread two ends of the yarn throught the tapestry needle
and insert into the arms (from the inner side)
and pull it through the stitches of the body in the place where arms should be.
It is better to put the ready arm when it is stuffed and finished - including the first part of the joint (or the first button & yarn) (the opening is closed)
Then I take the second button and put it inside the body to make a joint, drawing two ends of yarn through two opposite holes.
It's almost ready...
Bind the ends of yarn firmly inside the body.
So it's the second way I can make moveable joints.
See how it looks like.
You can move the arm around.
So I get back to the arm I make...
I put the first part of plastic joint sticking out of the arm.
In rnd 27 I decreased to 12 st | PL: w okr. 27 (mój błąd!)
Add stuffing.
Close the hole - rnd 28: 6 dec [6]
I don't need the marker already.
Cut the yarn and leave a tail for closing the opening.
Keep the sticking part out of the arm.
The arm with the joint is ready.
Now connect the arm with the body.
Put the washer on the sticking part inside the body and safe with the end.
It is better to try it on before you put the ends.
I will burn the sticking part a bit to secure it better - but it is not necessary.
I will attach the arm on the other side in the same way.
I've attached the arms already.
I have also PVC plastic tube.
I wrapped the ends with electrical tape.
I insert the tube inside the body and head.
Then I sew the body and head.
You can mark the critical points for placement the head.
I usually mark 4 points under the head - in the place where neck touches the head.
1 - front point
You can watch the Cats in love tutorial part 2, time 8:25
2 - back point
3 - and two sides
So we have four points.
Let's start sewing.
FRONT POINT
BACK POINT
I have two points attached.
Then I will sew side parts regarding semicircle curve - just like neck should goes.
I will add stuffing steadily before I close the opening completely.
The first half is ready, now I put some stuffing and sew the second half.
Oh! And see what I've done!
I sewed the head & body but I sew the head at the back... I forgot to check it. So be careful and pay attention to front part of the legs.
Bear cannot twist the head, so I have to unravel it gently.
Fluffy yarn doesn't help.
See you for a moment.
I managed to correct the head.
The bear has the head in proper place.
If you like, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE
See you in the next part of the tutorial.
We will crochet ears, nose, tummy, tail.
We will shape the paws, add pads
The bear will be finished.
See you! :-)

blues - an insurance scam? - Duration: 4:14.
Hey everyone! Welcome back to the Roadshow.
We're going to talk about insurance.
Insurance companies love saying how everyone's out to scam them.
Well, this incident is about an insurance company trying to scam me.
My insurance company in fact.
So some time ago this guy,
I don't know what got into him, he just walked up
& stomped all over my car, over the bonnet, the roof & everything.
If you want to see that video for a little bit
more background just have a look here and click on here.
Anyway, this guy did $1000 worth of damage to my car.
Now he was charged. The police caught him,
got his name, he had a little cry, said he was sorry.
So he goes to court. He pleads guilty.
I'm awarded the damages $1,000.
So what happens?
This guy doesn't pay!
I had full comprehensive insurance and I thought oh....
I thought oh...I can do without this
so I gave it to them.
My broker said Rona you will have to pay an excess but
you'll get that fully refunded when and if the guy pays.
It's not my fault.
They had all the details. I thought that's fine.
Anyway I put it in. I'm charged the $350 excess.
I pay it.
Months and months and months go by
and I asked, several times, my broker,
So what's going on with this insurance you know?
She said Oh Rona, they haven't um,
there's been no progress yet. I haven't heard anything.
I don't know you know... B. S. quite frankly!
So this goes on and on
Several months later I get my new insurance for the car
and guess what?
Not only has the insurance premium gone up
but my no claim bonus has gone down so it's hopeless.
Anyway, so I'm paying more for less basically.
So anyway I was furious.
I rang her up and I said what's going on?
She says, well I don't know Rona.
I haven't heard anything. I don't know what's happening
So then I hung up from her.
I got straight onto the Insurance Ombudsman
& I spoke to them &, they said Look Rona,
all we can suggest is write straight to them
So I did. (DON'T FORGET TO MENTION THAT YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO THE OMBUDSMAN)
I wrote the letter and I wrote down
1. This is what happened.
2. This is what I'd like to happen
I want to get my excess money back &
I want that no claim bonus returned to what it should be.
You can follow the guy up. I've given you his name.
It wasn't my fault. I've given you the address
I sent that off at like five to five that afternoon
It goes, a copy to my insurance company and a copy to the broker.
At exactly 7 minutes past 9 the next morning,
I get a phone call from my broker.
Rona! she said. Good news.
Oh, I said. Let me guess...
I'm gonna get my excess back & everything's gonna be ok?
She said, yes, as if it was a big surprise.
I said, I'm not happy with you.
This insurance company has not followed him up
because it's cheaper to let me pay.
And she went mmm you know... she was pretty sheepish.
So I'm not sure if this is commonplace.
I'd love to hear if it's happened to any of you guys
but um who knows..?
Ok give me a thumbs up if you liked it,
put your comment below if you've got any stories for us
share with your friends and subscribe if you want to
Thank you very much. I'll see you out there
Goodbye from the Roadshow!

Nicolas Maduro Net Worth: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 9:05.
Nicolas Maduro Net Worth: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com
Nicolas Maduro is the president of Venezuela and the successor to populist leader Hugo Chavez.
Like Chavez, Maduro has a long list of grievances and has often claimed that he is the victim of assassination attempts.
And in fact, just a few months ago, a former USAID official said that it was "time" for a coup in Venezuela.
The most recent alleged assassination attempt happened on Saturday, August 4, in the middle of a speech Maduro was delivering.
You can read about it here.
Maduro also has a complex relationship with money.
He earns one of the lowest salaries among South American leaders, since Venezuelan law caps his salary at 12 times the country's minimum wage.
But Maduro's net worth has been estimated at 2 million dollars — which, while lower than many leaders, still does not make him exactly a man of the people.
Local media have also been highly critical of Maduro's spending habits, which they say amount to 1.
8 million a day.
Here's what you need to know about Maduro's net worth:.
Maduro's Net Worth Is Estimated at 2 Million Dollars.
But His Salary Is Just Four Thousand Dollars A Month.
Nicolas Maduro rose from fairly humble beginnings to become the right-hand man of Hugo Chavez and, after Chavez's death, the president of Venezuela.
Along the way, he seems to have accumulated some money.
According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Maduro has a net worth of two million dollars.
That figure — two million — has been repeated by another source.
Maduro may have begun to set aside money during the years he worked as a union leader.
More recently, he has been accused of taking bribes from a transnational construction company.
Venezuelan law puts a cap to how much the president can earn.
In accordance with the law, Maduro's salary is 12 times the Venezuelan minimum wage.
He earns just over four thousand a month.
Maduro is not the only Venezuelan politician with millions, of course.
Hugo Chavez's daughter has been named the richest person in Venezuela.
Maduro Dreamed of Being a Rock Star But Became A Bus Driver In Caracas Instead.
Maduro was born in November of 1962 in Caracas, the Venezuelan capital.
He was the son of a working class family; his father was a union organizer.
Maduro flirted with the idea of becoming a musician but became a bus driver instead.
He and his father organized a local trade union.
From there, he slowly rose through the political ranks until he became one of Hugo Chavez's top allies.
Before Chavez's death, he served as both the vice president and the foreign minister.
After Chavez died from cancer, Maduro became interim president.
Then — in a contested election — he became president in his own right.
South American Media Say Maduro Budgets 1.8 Million Dollars A Day For Food, Clothing, And Travel.
Maduro and his children have often been criticized in the Latin American press for their spending habits.
In 2016, El Mundo said that Maduro was able to spend 1.
8 million dollars a day on his food, clothing, and travel expenses.
That figure comes from the Venezuelan government's 2014 budget, which was obtained by a group called Traparencia de Venezuela.
The budget reportedly included a daily personal spending sum of 1.8 million dollars a day.
Venezuelan media notes that this is 16 times more than Queen Isabella budgets for.
Maduro Has Been Accused of Accepting Millions in Bribes, and Has Been Allegedly Linked to a Money Laundering Case.
While Maduro was running for election in 2013, he allegedly asked the Brazilian construction giant, Obredecht, to pay him 50 million dollars in order to continue its contracts in Venezuela.
Obredecht has been named in bribery scandals across Latin America.
The company reportedly refused to give Maduro 50 million dollars — but they allegedly paid him 35 million.
Maduro's name has also been linked to a money laundering scandal involving 1,200 million dollars and centering in Miami.
He was anever actually charged in that case.
Maduro's Political Mentor Was Hugo Chavez.
Chavez's Daughter Is The Richest Person in Venezuela.
Maduro was both vice president and foreign minister under Venezuela's populist president Hugo Chavez.
Chavez's daughter, Maria Gabriela Chavez, has been listed as the richest person in Venezula.
Maria Gabriela has has bank accounts in the U.S.
and Andorra with assets totaling nearly $4.2 billion.
That figure would make her the richest person in Venezuela.
In 2017, Maria Gabriela was appointed to be Venezuela's deputy ambassador to the United Nations.
She has been accused of involvement in a sweetheart deal with an Argentine rice company, Biart.
But nothing was ever proven.
After that accusation came out, Maria Gabriela wrote an Instragram post, directed at her late father.
It read,.
"They speak about millions, about inheritance, about riches … and the think they insult us.
They're such simple beings that they have no inkling about the bigger riches that you always gave me and that you left me.".

"I think a**es are in, everyone loves a good a**e – and I had mine sucked out!" Sharon Osbourne "I think a**es are in, everyone loves a good a**e – and I had mine sucked out!" Sharon cried.
"Sharon, have you had your a**e sucked out?" Keith asked.
