Heather asks, "What is your origin story?"

Well, Heather, I've always been a curious person.

Ever since I was a kid, I've loved to learn

and I've been a sponge for information.

And I'd share that information with my friends,

which would generally... annoy them.

But then, once I started performing comedy,

I realized that if I told people bummer facts onstage,

it wasn't annoying -- it was funny.

So I worked it into my act, and it grew from there.

So, no, I wasn't bitten by a radioactive bookworm.

How to Hang Drywall – Drywall Installation - Duration: 2:26.

Hanging drywall is a multi-step process

that an experienced DIYer can do with

a little help. Here's an overview of

what's involved. Keep in mind that

drywall sheets can be difficult to carry

and maneuver. Get a helper or a dry wall

panel lift. You can rent one at The Home

Depot Tool Rental Center. Hanging drywall

horizontally will result in fewer seams

to tape. And they'll be at a convenient

height. Control drywall dust with plastic

sheeting at doors and by shutting off

the AC. And always use a dust mask and

eye protection. Before starting, mark stud

locations on the ceiling to help when

driving this drywall screws. When hanging

your first panel make sure to measure

and cut so that the end will wind up in

the middle of a stud. Also, you should

always start in the center and work out

across the top, driving your screws 16

inches apart into all studs. You'll hang

the top rows first and then finish with

your bottom rows. You'll continue hanging

full sheets as before by butting them

snugly against the others. But, make sure

to avoid seams lining up with door and

window corners. What about things like

windows, doors and outlets? You'll be

doing a lot of measuring and cutting for

these, so plan ahead, take your time, and

be sure to have all the right tools and

materials. And keep in mind the old

do-it-yourself mantra: measure twice, cut

once. You'll save yourself a lot of

frustration.

One tip that will help the finished look

of your room is to not align seams. In

other words, begin your bottom row of

drywall with a shorter panel and the one

already in place above it. That way the

seams between the panels in each row

will not align directly above each other.

Also, leave a slight gap between the

floor and the drywall so the drywall

won't be affected by slight bumps in the

floor. Baseboards will cover that later.

And don't forget your metal corner bead.

You'll be attaching that to the exposed

corners to protect the drywall. When all

your drywall is hung, you might want to

take a break because your work isn't

quite done. You'll still need to do your

joint work to hide your seams. Obviously

this is just a brief overview of the dry

wall hanging process. For more detailed

information on this and many other

popular projects, check out the DIY

projects and ideas section of homedepot.com

Good luck and thanks for shopping at The

Activating Reusable Waivers | Checkfront's 2 Minute Check-Ups - Duration: 2:23.

Hi, I'm Kaela from Checkfront's support team. Today, I'd like to

show you how you can reuse completed waivers. First,

in order to make a waiver reusable, we'll need to go to Booking ->

Waivers & Documents -> Templates

then select your waiver template. On the right,

select the Configuration tab then scroll down to

the bottom where you see the Document Attachment section.

It'll have 'Single Booking' selected by default, but you can choose

'Multiple Bookings' to allow waivers to be reused.

Here, you'll be able to see some different options for how

long a waiver can be reused for. You can choose a set

number of days, or a specified calendar date.

For instance if I only want my waiver to be able to be used for the year

of 2017, I can select December 31st, 2017.

Then, choose 'Save.'

Now, a waiver can be reused.

You can choose to allow a waiver to be reused by opening the customers

booking. For example, I have a customer that has multiple

bookings that require a waiver. If I look up the customer's booking

And then go to

the Documents tab, I can see that they've

already completed their waiver. In order to make it so that this

completed waiver can be used on another booking, we'll select this down arrow

and choose 'Allow Reuse'.

Now we can see a little pin here. If we open another booking for the customer

This one we can see

in the Documents tab doesn't have a waiver completed. But if we

select 'Attribute Documents' and open the 'Search for

Documents' bar, we can see the pinned reusable waiver.

We can select that, and choose 'Attach'.

I hope that you've found this video helpful, if you

have any questions, feel free to email

Hello everyone and welcome to Spain on a Fork

I´m your host Albert Bevia

in today´s episode we´re going to be making

one of my personal favorite dishes

Brochetas de Gambas

these shrimp skewers

are loaded with such an amazing flavor

and the best part

this is a get in the kitchen get out of the kitchen recipe

because it´s so easy to make

so let´s get started

ok the first thing we´re going to do is

we´re going to make our sauce

so let´s grab 1 clove of garlic

and let´s finely mince it

and now let´s add our minced garlic

to a mortar & pestle

and start pounding the garlic

and after you´ve pounded your garlic

for about 2 minutes

let´s go ahead and add 2 tablespoons of

extra virgin Spanish olive oil

1/2 a teaspoon of smoked paprika

and 1/2 a teaspoon of sea salt

and let´s mix it all together

ok now let´s assemble our shrimp skewers

i´m using some jumbo shrimp

that are already peeled and deveined

ok next let´s grab a grilling pan

and turn on our fire to a medium to high heat

ok while our pan is pre-heating

let´s go ahead and grab a grilling brush

grab some of our sauce that we made

and put it on top of the skewers

and once your grilling pan gets really hot

let´s go ahead and start adding our shrimp skewers

and after a minute of cooking them

lets go ahead and flip them

and we´ll brush them with the remainder of our sauce

and after cooking our shrimp skewers

for about 2 1/2 minutes

they look like they are done

so let´s go ahead and turn off our fire

and let´s plate them

we´ll garnish it with some fresh parsley

and a lemon wedge

and there´s our finished plate of

Brochetas de Gambas

Dark Money | Dr. Steven J. Allen - Duration: 2:31.

Is a "flood" of money into the nonprofit sector a threat to the Republic?

Should charities be forced to reveal their donors?

Does the public have a right to know how tax-exempt donations are being used, and by whom?

Disclosing the source of funds going to organizations'

may sound like a good idea.

It helps avoid the appearance -- or reality -- of elected officials or advocacy groups

being bought and sold by special interests.

But what's at stake is not so simple.

So-called "dark money" has a long history of protecting unpopular political speech.

In 1956, the state of Alabama sued the NAACP, demanding the names and addresses of donors to

the civil rights group.

If Alabama had won, it would have been a serious, possibly violent setback for the civil rights

movement.

Make no mistake – money is speech.

Free speech can't flourish if you can't use money to support causes you believe in.

Imagine being allowed to write a book, but not being allowed to spend money to print it.

Imagine being allowed to record a web video, but not being allowed to purchase internet

access to upload it.

Both the Federalist Papers and the anti-Federalist papers, some of the most important documents

in American history, written by our Founders, were written anonymously.

Why?

To avoid personal and political attacks on the authors.

The same problem exists today.

Whether you're on the right or the left, supporting causes you believe in, at any scale, too often

brings vicious attacks by the other side.

In more and more cases, when you give to causes you believe in, the government will reveal

your full name, address, occupation, and employer.

If "dark money" were eliminated, imagine what it might mean to live in the Bible Belt

and donate to Planned Parenthood?

Or to live in San Francisco and give to the NRA?

Imagine if the shooter of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs had access to the

names and addresses of all that group's donors?

If you care about free speech, you need to care about privacy rights too.

Attacks on dark money are attacks on your right to give to the controversial causes

you choose, without having government disclose your personal information.

That's vital to a functioning democracy.

I'm Dr. Steven J. Allen, thanks for watching.

021 Carla & Hanna - Duration: 15:25.

And maybe you'd also like to be my best man?

Carla, have I shown you the catalog from the Rayfels Foundation in Singapore?

No

That's too bad, I have to give it to a friend tomorrow

Well, will you all excuse us a moment?

Of course

The jurors withdraw to deliberate

== Yeah well, I'm sure Carla's judgement of me is fixed. == Cécile!

However, you did win over 'Prince Charming' in no time

Ansgar? Well, it would be nice if yet another one of your children didn't give me the cold shoulder.

== Well you can count on me. == I think you both have impressed Ansgar mightily.

Really?

Well, he has good taste! And he's always had a big influence on Carla.

Hm. That would be nice.

If anyone can placate Carla, then it's Ansgar

Tell me, is it possible Father's new girlfriend has turned YOUR head too?

Don't get so excited

I thought you were going to help me against Cécile!?

But hardly does he make you president than you stab me in the back!

You're very cute when you get this angry, you know that, right?

Is money the only thing that ever interests you?!

What was the point in sending you to Salem?

If you had paid attention in other classes besides art, maybe the following rule would ring a bell:

"Know your enemy, and make sure he doesn't suspect what you have planned"

Carla, what is needed here first is damage containment...

... in which case it can only be advantageous for us if Cécile thinks I'm favorably disposed towards her

All right, and what is your plan?

Well, I can envision that a prenuptial agreement between the two of them...

... would eliminate our worries

Not a bad idea!

Mmh - thank you for the compliment

It would make me even happier, however, to see you somewhat more relaxed

But he'll never go for that idea. Father is blinded by love!

I'm sure you're right about that. But the suggestion doesn't have to come from us.

Your overt opposition has some advantages for us

I could very easily imagine that this Miss de Maron is prepared... to make a few concessions...

... so that you'll finally accept her

What on earth happened here?!

What?

Lars, I'm sorry. Yesterday, a glass of red wine, I...I stumbled.

Well if I didn't know better, I'd say you're overworked

Well, when you leave your clothes lying all around for everybody to trip over?!

Sorry. We'll definitely have to see if we can do anything about this.

Oh, you can forget that

Yes?... Oh.

I wanted to personally bring you the termination contract myself

We accepted all of your conditions in full

Oh? Did Sylvia sign it?

No. As owner of the company, I signed it.

Yeah... well, hopefully you aren't expecting me to jump for joy

I'm sorry everything happened the way it did

Felix?

I know what it's like to do battle with my sister. I think you did a great job handling it. Thank you.

All right, then I'll talk to you later

I didn't mean to interrupt

Not a problem. After all, this is your home.

And we will soon be family. Doesn't that make it about time for us to be less formal with each other?

I'd like that

So - welcome to the family!

You have no idea how glad I am that you accept me so open-heartedly

To Carla I'm still like a waving red flag to a bull

That's what I wanted to talk to you about. Uhm...

Have you possibly offended Carla in any way?

Me?? No, on the contrary. From the beginning, I've taken pains with her, but she...

Yes, you see... she suffered a great deal from our mother's death and...

But I would never presume to take Francesca's place

Of course not

But the time following Mother's death was rough

You have no idea how many people attempted to exploit the supposed weakness of the Lahnstein family

== But you aren't trying to say that I-- == No, for heaven's sake!

And I know that Carla is struggling with her mistrust

== But after all the bad experiences... == ... a few doubts are certainly warranted, yes.

Then again, a few precautionary measures pertaining to finances...

... could go a ways towards easing the situation

You mean a prenuptial contract

Please, I in no way want to offend you. I know that you yourself are wealthy--

No, no problem, that's a good idea

== Yes? == What's a good idea?

Right now?

Okay, I'm coming

Sorry, but I have to go to the stables

Well, then you can explain to me what kind of idea you're discussing

A prenuptial contract?! That is absolutely out of the question!!

I love Cécile! And I wish to share not only my life with her, but also my worldly possessions.

I'm old-fashioned that way

Carla is not to blame, it was my idea

You don't need to play the noble knight here, Ansgar. I know exactly where this is coming from.

But Father, I don't understand why you're so opposed to a prenuptial contract

Do you two realize how hurtful such a suggestion must be for Cécile?

== But Cécile was-- == ... would do anything for you to FINALLY accept her.

I know you were trying to mediate

But my decision stands firm, there will be no prenuptial contract

And I expect my decisions to be respected

Okay, I admit it, you've honed your skills tremendously since the last time we crossed swords

Be glad we were fencing with blunted foils. You small-time Machiavelli!

Your grand plan was a complete flop!

Only now is it obvious to me how cleverly Cécile has orchestrated this whole thing

Don't you think you're overstating it?

More like I'm UNDERstating it!

She butts in everywhere, constantly acting all friendly, and doesn't even notice how much she's annoying everyone!

Yes, but the situation isn't easy for Cécile either, she loves Father

Exactly THAT is what I don't believe! I'm still in favor of a prenuptial contract.

Our father said he doesn't want to hear anything more about that

And I don't want to hear from YOU anymore that you're caving in so easily!

Is our family not worth anything to you?

I'm always thinking of the family. Even now.

That's all just talk. Since Cécile has been here, things at Königsbrunn have already changed enough.

Ultimately she will screw up everything

But I'll tell you one thing: under these conditions I'll NEVER accept Father's wife, you understand? Never!

Who was that?

That, my dear, was your future stepmother

Cécile?! You mean she was listening the whole time?!

== I'm afraid she had no other choice. == Well why didn't you stop me?!

Let's put it this way, I found your lecture quite... constructive

In any case, I'd like to apologize for my behavior this morning

But that doesn't mean you've changed your mind?

No. But my tone was inappropriate. It won't happen again.

I accept, as long as I don't have to hear the word 'prenuptial' again

I understand you. A marriage should be based on trust.

If one calculates, from the outset, there's the possibility of failure, that doesn't say much for the love

I have to admit, you're right about that

Forgive me for being late

Thank you

I was on the phone with my attorney

Oh, problems in the stables?

No. But I just feel it would be better if we clarified all intentions.

Therefore, I've asked him to draw up a prenuptial agreement

Excuse me?

I'm sorry! I guess I just misinterpreted something.

I don't know what you could misinterpret about that!

== I'm sorry, Carla, but I thought that-- == And I thought you understood...

== that we-- == Yes, that we're FRIENDS, I know!

Besides which, you're already taken

If you have a problem with that, then it would be better if we didn't see each other

No, please. Just regard me as a typical man.

A pathetic moron who lost his mind for a moment

It will never happen again, believe me

The look on your face just now, that was... that was warning enough

All right, let's forget it

Well, it's beginning to get a little nippy - shall we go back inside?

No, I'll leave you to your family now, and I'm going to go meet with a charming young woman

My daughter - I'm sure she's feeling neglected. Probably rightly so.

Oopsy!... Ohh!

You need to pay a little more attention!

First you spill red wine on it, then you practically step on it

If you don't watch out, Lars will soon have an abstract painting of you

Uh, I have to go. Bye!

Bye

So - Lars

Hanna?

Hanna, what are you DOING?!

What do you mean?

Well - first you give it to me for my birthday, then you spill red wine on it...

== ...and now you want to throw it away. == Yeah, it looks bad with all those stains!

This is MY present! I'd like to see what would happen if I just threw away something of YOURS.

Yeah, well LOOK at it!! 'Young Woman with Skin Rash', I don't want something like that in my bedroom.

I know, I'm a klutz. You can ask for something new from me, okay?

Hmm - can I cash in on that right now?

Ahh, and something else, Lars! So, listen up, if this here becomes a habit, it's all going to end up in the trash, too!

Even in our situations as they currently stand most of our life needs are being met.

It may be troublesome right now, but we at least have those basic needs met and it's

What does Repurposing Video Content mean? - Duration: 6:14.

hi guys i'm julie from shotgun media

thanks for joining me once again on

another episode of down the barrel this

week I'm going to talk to you about what

repurposing video content means so stay

tuned and don't forget to subscribe

you're among a vast minority if you

haven't heard the phrase content is

king some time recently if you want to

grow your business if you want to build

a following if you want to establish

your brand content is king and while

content can be defined as anything from

a blog post to a podcast the most

popular and widely consumed type of

content today is video video remains the

most effective way to tell a story and

connect with your audience but and I'm

sure this isn't news to you videos can

be tricky and at times costly to produce

in a world where content is clearly king

what can you do to continue your reach

of audience without breaking the bank by

producing countless videos the answer is

in repurposing which allows you to

extend the life of your existing content

so you're not constantly going back to

the drawing board looking for new ideas

so what is repurposing first it's

important to understand what repurposing

is not many business owners take an old

piece of content whether it's a video

blog post they update it slightly to

remain relevant and then promote it on

social media every few months this is

not repurposing rather it's revamping

revamping is when you use a piece of

content for the same purpose or audience

it was originally intended for

repurposing on the other hand is when

you either change the format of the

content so for example turn a blog post

into a video and change the target

audience for that content let's say your

original video was targeted at a small

to midsize business owners and you've

re-edited it to apply to a new business

type revamping is an effective strategy

and by all means can be used as a

complementary component for repurposing

if for example you want to convert or

attract more people at the same buyer

persona in the same part of the buyers

journey then a revamp is your best

choice in

terms of video revamping is clearly the

easier quicker option most times you can

simply reshare promote your video so

maybe times you have to change a few

titles or credits to keep it fresh but

in general revamping a video requires

little effort on your part however if

you want to attract will convert more

people in an entirely different segment

then you're looking to fully repurpose

your content since we're focused on video

here most times they're not repurposing

won't include changing the format of the

content rather your focus on trying to

change the target audience so how do you

go about doing that create a long-term

lifecycle strategy for your videos as we

referenced earlier video production can

be timely in costly and unlike a simple

blog post it's not that easy to make

changes or update to a piece of video

content that's why your best approach to

creating video content you can repurpose

is to develop a long-term strategy plan

first prior to shooting or even script

in your video jot down all of the

potential audiences you'd like to target

as a business note how we did not say

the potential audiences you'd like to

target with this video that's because

it's fairly common to creative video

targeted at one narrow audience new

customers prospect located within a

certain demographic etc etc so the

reason you want to remind yourself of

all of your potential audiences is that

during your shoot you can record several

pieces of footage that speak to each

audience segment sure the piece you

originally edit and publish might be

targeted at one segment but by recording

variances of your messaging you can have

footage years later when you decide it's

time to repurpose your content why

shouldn't you just record a new video

every time you want to reach a new

audience well to fill a question with a

fairly simple answer return on your

investment a well-produced video

requires a large production team on-air

talent editors are set and more it also

takes a long time to reduce it's worth

your while to make the most of the

production team you have on hand by

preparing for all the what-ifs that may

pop up down the road that way the

commitment you made to producing one

video could evolve into production of

several videos aimed at helping you

reach the widest possible audience now

approach it from me for creating videos

that can

repurposed is to avoid including shots

or references to anything that's

extremely timely while all the videos

will look dated regardless due to

technology and wardrobes etc you can

prolong the life of your videos by not

including references to faz new bits or

old things that have short shelf life re

persons other content to video we'd be

remiss to ignore one of the greatest

asset of repurposing taking one piece of

content and changing its form most

businesses are well versed in the

benefits of blogging posting a 700 word

article online is fairly quick and easy

particularly if you're comfortable with

wrestling with words that's why many

businesses have dozens if not hundreds

of articles posted on their website

these articles are a repurposing

goldmine each article has the ability to

become a short yet effective video that

you can promote through your audience's

the goal here is to create a formula or

template for these article based videos

by creating a template you can minimize

the amount of time it takes to adapt

each article into video form you could

repurpose a glorified slideshow you

could record one person talking on a

screen or you can do as the company Moz

does with their whiteboard Friday

segments no matter what style you choose

the goal is to give your original

article more legs there's no reason why

one piece of content should be limited

to one type of audience or even one type

of content repurposing along with

revamping gives you the ability to

produce a massive amount of content

without constantly worrying about what

else you could possibly talk about with

a little bit of strategy at the

forefront you can be well on your way to

producing the types of videos that will

serve as a hub for your marketing engine

for many years to come

One thing about it is, we all come together. We have the same passion. We have a same focus.

We all love the outdoors, we love growing things whether they're crops or animals, and we have the

nurturing

ability of

telling people, telling children what we do. I'm Gretchen Schubert. I'm from Huntley, Montana.

I'm a cow-calf producer, and I'm the president of the Women's Committee for Farm Bureau in Montana.

We have come up to Helena this morning, and we served breakfast to [the] legislators and everybody,

staff, anybody here at the Capital because this is National Ag Day, and we are celebrating what we do and

National Ag Day. Agriculture affects everybody in the worl,d because we all like to eat.

It is important, because we all are involved in agriculture, whether we grow it,

whether they eat it, whether we raise it whether we wear it, and it is important to

just want to make people aware of

where their food comes from.

Sometimes you go into the school. We go into the schools and we talk about

what we eat, and where it comes from. That's our job.

We need to educate and [tell] people. And we have books, and we have activities, and

we have programs. We go into the schools and we start with the little kids.

And this is how we could tell them what we do.

Texas REALTOR® Magazine Minute - May 2017 - Duration: 0:59.

If you're like most real estate agents,

you're not following a business plan.

And that means you're probably not reaching

the level of success that you could.

Here are 3 things that should be in your business plan:

Your mission statement

This will pinpoint what you're trying to accomplish.

How you'll market yourself

What will your marketing say?

Where will it be placed?

How you'll build revenue

That third piece, revenue, confuses many

real estate professionals.

A lot of templates found online for traditional

business plans are geared toward getting

a small business loan and often include

revenue projections that real estate

agents aren't equipped to make.

Don't worry about income, cash flow, and

personal financial statements. And ignore

jargon like product diversification and

channel distribution. Focus instead on

how you're going to achieve your

financial goal. For example, how you're

getting leads and what you're going to

do to convert them. Learn how to create a

plan for your real estate business in

the May issue of Texas REALTOR® magazine.

Find it at T-X ... ah, you can read it.

Resist the Devil and He will flee - Ryan Maher - Duration: 2:28.

Hey everybody Ryan Maher here! Today I

want to talk to you about James 4:7

which says submit yourselves to God

resist the devil and he will flee from

you. Now think about that, submit to God

resist the devil and he will flee... so

what I love about this is that that is a

promise. Resist the devil and he will

flee. What do we do most of time? Most

people they don't resist the devil they

they have arms wide open inviting

him into their lives through various

actions decisions things like that and

then they're wondering why they

why they're struggling and I love

that scripture says this because this is

a promise, if you resist he will flee. So

A plus B equals C if you resist he

will flee right and, so are you resisting?

that's a question I have for you

resisting are you inviting him in are

there things that you're doing in your

life that that opens the door for him to

have more influence in your life? Something to

think about. So I just want to encourage

you with that today to resist him, if

there are certain things certain

temptations that you have are you

setting yourself up for failure? Are you

are you trying to resist? Are you making

an effort to not put yourself in certain

situations that you know will be

tempting? Things like that, so if that's

you and this is something that that

you're dealing with hopefully this helps

again this scripture is a promise so if

you resist him, he will flee and also

here's another one if you draw near to

God He will draw near to you... another

promise. Draw near and He'll draw near

to you so let's do that today

how's that, sound good? Sound good! God

bless you guys! Hopefully this has been a

blessing to you. If it has rate, comment,

subscribe and I'll see you guys in the

next video peace

Downtown Ford - Fusion Engeri - May 2017 - Duration: 1:34.

Hi, I'm Cristian from Downtown Ford and today. I'm going green...

aggressively - in the 2017 Ford Fusion Energi.

Of course I could talk about the amazing features available like heated seats heated steering wheel an

amazing sound system yadda yadda yadda. Not to diminish how great these features are from Ford, but let's get to why the Ford Fusion

Energi is no other vehicle:

982

Nine eight two. Neuf cent quatre-vingt deux. Novecientos ochenta y dos

What is that? This Fusion has an amazing nine hundred and eighty two kilometer range before needing to fill up.

That's like two and a half round trips to Muskoka or a long haul road trip to Cape Cod.

That's because this Fusion is a plug-in hybrid which extends the driving range as does the braking regeneration. On the dash

there's a smart gauge with an ego guide - this helps you drive more efficiently. It also has E-V or

Electric Vehicle Mode which allows you to go completely electric...a great option when you're commuting in the city or running errands

especially with so many charging stations springing up.

Then there's the technology that Ford throws in like an amazing navigation system, Sync 3 with Aapple Carplay and Android Auto and

Ford Park Assist to list only a few.

Come see me, CK

or anyone at Downtown Ford and we'll show you it's easier than ever to get into a Ford.

Come see how we're changing the way Toronto buys cars at Downtown Ford

549 King Street East at Sumach or online at DowntownFord.ca
