How to light your worship band with DIY COTM Dewey stand lamps - Duration: 4:05.

One of the best ways to light the band

members of your worship team is with a

little bit of local light right next to

them, and you might have seen

Church On The Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma use what they

call a "Dewey" light that you can make for

yourself for about $50. We made

these fixtures. I'll show you how and how

we use them.

Hey it's Dave Dolphin at

practicalworshipblog.com, sharing ideas,

tips and practical advice for the

everyday worship leader. The thing

about light is that once light leaves a

fixture it's going to keep on going no

matter what until it hits something, so

if you're trying to light the members of

your band using the lights that you have

hanging from the ceiling, to get that

subject lit the way you want to you

might have all this extra light

splashing all over the stage. This is

a fixture that we made ourselves and you

might have seen them if you're familiar

with Church On The Move up in Tulsa,

Oklahoma. They came up with the design, and

they built their own fixtures as well.

I'm going to show you how we made

our fixtures, but here's my disclaimer: is

that this video is purely informational

and you should always consult a

qualified professional whenever you're

dealing with electricity and voltage and

things that can generate a lot of heat

and possibly catch fire if you're not

careful. We made ours for about $50

in parts and we're going to take

a little field trip. I'm going to show you how.

So the first thing you're looking for is

a stove pipe reducer. Whenever they vent

your hood over your range or they vent

your dryer, they use this aluminum tubing.

If they need to go from one size to

another, that's what's called a reducer.

So you're looking... you need a specific

size. You need to go from four to five

inches, so that that lamp sits nicely

into the part, and then just spray

paint it black with this heat resistant

spray paint.

Now the yolk is made from 1 1/4"

flat aluminum. We just bent it

into a U. We drill holes for the machine

screws that go into the reducer, and then

we drilled a bigger hole at the mount.

Now I think Church On The Move

used all-thread for their mounts. We

actually use microphone stands, because

we had a bunch of those laying around

and that gives us the additional benefit

of being able to change the height of the fixture.

Now the lamp you need you need to order

from Amazon. It's a DWE 650 watt bulb. I'm

going to put a link to it in the description

below. Now you're only going to run that

lamp at maybe 10 or 15 percent when you

use it on stage, but you don't want to

get a lower wattage bulb and run it at a

hundred percent, because you might get

the same amount of light, but you're not

going to get the same color. What makes

this lamp really pretty is that warm,

amber, yellow glow that it has. So you

want the 650 watt, but

you only want to run it at ten or

fifteen percent. Again the link is in

the description below.

Now I always thought the reason why it was called a

Dewey light was because of the letters

DWE for the lamp, but actually if you

talk to the guys that created this thing,

they were trying to figure out a way to

house this DWE lamp, but you couldn't use

plastic because that's—you know—the heat.

It's not going to work well.

Someone in the room named Dewey said hey,

why don't you get a stove pipe reducer?

And the rest they say is history. We'll

here at Practical Worship we love sharing

ideas and tips and practical advice for

Is Your Rice Fake? Find Out Right Now! - Duration: 2:37.

Who would have thought that a bag or box of rice may not be the real thing?

To the naked eye, each grain certainly looks real.

It appears that major rice producing countries are mixing in some counterfeit food particles

– and worse.

They are even adding a bit of fragrance during packaging to help it pass the 'smell test.'

To add volume to rice, certain foreign manufacturers are now mixing in plastic rice, which is actually

formed by smashing white and sweet potatoes together.

This potato concoction is then formed into shapes that resemble rice.

Yet, these rice imposters don't soften while cooking; they remain hard and could be a major

actor in causing digestive issues.

Currently, no scientific rice authentication testing has been developed.

In today's video, we will describe how you can conduct your own experiment to determine

if your rice is a knock off or the real deal.

1.

The Water Test Take a glass of water

Pour in one tablespoon of raw rice and stir Fake rice will float

It's that simple!

2.

The Fire Test You may have a vivid memory of what burning

plastic smells like Safely outside, take a scoop of rice and burn

it with a match or lighter If it's fake, the grains will release that

foul odor

3.

Boiling test Carefully observe rice as it boils.

Fake rice will begin to form a thick layer at the top of the container

4.

The Fungus test After you cook the rice, seal it and store

it in a container.

Check it in 2 or 3 days.

If mold is present, it is definitely real rice.

Fake particles of rice are unable to produce mold.

5.

Hot Oil Test Drop a tablespoon of rice in very hot oil.

Plastic rice will immediately melt, sink to the bottom and become glued together.

There's no evidence of where they used to be.

and that side either.

yeah

This is facing North.

and

There used to be another rail coming out

coming in through here. You can see that it's paved.

Right now I'm going to take you guys

to the South side.

Let these cars cross the road first.

And look at this.

Look at those crossties.

Wooden crossties from the SCL days.

Yeah I'm trying to look for a date...

Oh! Wait! Wait! Wait!

1931!

Wow!

There it is.

But yeah

right on the other side of that shrub

there is the CSX mainline

the SFRTA

And then over here,

there are also some abandoned spurs.

See, there's a couple rails here.

Yeah

I'll take you guys to the end.

So, that's facing North. That's where I was over there. Where I began filming.

and this is where

it's interrupted by all the shrubs.

Today we are going to cut down a tree

with a new chainsaw Husqvarna 550 XP so stay tuned

hi everybody this is Andres from off

grid Sweden if you haven't been here

before I want to welcome you for the

first time on this channel I show you

things that we do on the homestead tips

and tricks reviews stuff related to home

you saw in the last video I have been

able to start replacing the equipment

that got stolen the insurance company

really came through and helped me in the

best way they could this is my new

chainsaw

I had us read before but now I got his

corner this saw is a little bit stronger

than the last one

yet and it's adjust itself just fill it

with oil and gas and it will run I had a

few questions of the last video about

security and what I've done to ensure

that my new equipment on it solo let's

say I have done everything I can to

prevent it from getting stolen again and

it gets stolen I would probably be able

to track it

the ATV will be useless for anyone but

me I have a good system that ensures

that

let's track everything on the ATV and go

down to the meadow and cut down on a

tree where the top has broken off by the

strong winds

I'm sorry for all of you that I change

our sounds but the mic was turned off

when I use the chainsaw safety first I

use a helmet with air protection and a

visor I also have chains of pants and

with strong boots I check whether the

tree will fall in this case it's leaning

in the direction where I want it to fall

I cut a wedge so nothing will be in the

way when it starts to fall

this second cut should be further left

on the trunk but I know that the tree

will fall in the right direction and

nothing is in its way so it doesn't

matter so much but you should always cut

further up to create a hinge

these cups I do because I learned it

from Cody and rang the start channel I

think it looks more neater nicer no we

just have to cut it up in smaller pieces

so we can come and get them with a wagon

later

the change I'll cut in this hard birch

and it was butter

I got a question for you what tips do

you got when cutting down trees these

answers in the comments

Creating States of Excellence - Duration: 5:41.

how to create states of excellence and

juice up those states so that they're as

strong as they could possibly be stay

tuned this is Damon Cart from NLP Gym

how to create states of excellence and

really juice them up using a hypnosis

technique if you haven't already please

click subscribe to this YouTube channel

so you get these videos on a regular

basis someone on my youtube channel has

been asking me over and over to create a

video on fractionation fractionation is

a hypnosis technique and basically the

premise of it is when you put a person

into trance and you bring that person

out of trance and then put them back in

they tend to tend to get stronger every

time you put that person back in a

trance Milton Erickson the father of

modern hypnosis used to do this a lot he

would put somebody into a trance pulled

him back out put him back in put him

pull him back out and you do this over

and over so that every time the person

went into back into the trance they went

deeper and deeper the cool thing is is

that you can use that not just for

hypnosis and not just for trance you can

also use it to really pump up your

states of excellence in NLP there is a

process called the circle of excellence

it's something you normally learn in a

practitioner training very early on when

you first take your first NLP

practitioner training and basically what

you do as you imagine that you have a

circle of excellence in front of you and

you think of a time when you really

experience like a flow state a state

where you had all of your resources

available to you so imagine there's a

circle in front of you and this is your

circle of excellence and even give it a

color like purple or whatever excellence

feels like to you or what it looks like

to you and you can even add a sound to

it as well so add a sound and a color to

this circle of excellence so that it

looks compelling and then remember a

time when you really experience that

state of

excellent at flow State and as soon as

you start to feel it again as you're

thinking about it as soon as you start

to feel it you step into the circle of

excellence and imagine the color and

everything that you were feeling and

that overwhelming state of just flow and

excellence and having access to all of

your resources and then step out and

break the state you can break the state

just by thinking about anything else you

can think of your phone number you can

think of what you had for breakfast and

then test it out see if when you step

back into the circle you think of the

color the state and the sound that might

have gone with it see if it comes all

back to you if it doesn't then you need

to work on getting into that state and

creating it as sort of like an anchor in

your circle of excellence now where the

fractionation comes in is you start

pumping this state up by going into it

and coming back out of it so you step

into it peel it come out of it break

state and do this several times and

you'll feel it if it's working right

you'll feel that state getting stronger

and stronger every time you step into

your circle of excellence now the other

thing you're going to want to do with

this is future pace it so think about

where you would most like to experience

that state that state of excellence

think about it in your mind

future contexts that you will be in

where you can really use that

resourceful excellent flow State and as

soon as you start to think of the

situation step back into your circle of

excellence and experience that go ahead

and step back out and what would be even

better once you've done that once you

start the future pacing process think

about something that could go wrong in

that context of that future situation

and as soon as you think about it

something going wrong step back into the

state of excellence so the circle of

excellence and experience resourceful

state and then think about it you might

even want to speak this out loud think

about and say out loud what you would do

differently now when you're in your

state of excellence when you encounter

this problem in this particular context

you can bring it in into any other

context that you want and the more you

go into this state of excellence through

the tool they have not a tool of

fractionation you can keep building the

state make it stronger and stronger and

juice it up to be as strong as you

absolutely wanted

they give that a try and let me know how

that works for you again there's many

different ways you can use fractionation

you can it's mainly used in trance but

you can use it in States as well you can

try that if you know hypnosis going into

trance and coming out of it and going

back and forth you can do this in

meditation as well meditation is very

similar to being in a trance if you'd

like to learn more of these techniques

and become a certified practitioner in

neuro linguistic programming especially

if your coach or especially if you're in

personal development or if you just want

to gain overall mastery over your life

I'm conducting a live practitioner

certification training here in Santa

Cruz California come and check it out

New House—With Room to Grow - Duration: 1:58.

If we were to have a family motto, it would be that we're building the plane as we're

flying it.

We don't really have the opportunity to sit back and plan and approach things with

a whole lot of intention.

We just make it work.

Choosing to buy our house was the biggest thing that my husband and I had ever done.

When it came time to sign all those papers, it was kind of nerve-wracking.

We were wondering if we were making the right choice.

When we were trying to get the cash together that we needed to do the down payment for

the house—I think we were kind of scrambling at the time to find cash wherever we could

because we felt that that's what we were supposed to be doing.

We took a loan against my 401(k) to help us get into the house and now I have to pay back

against that loan, against my own money.

So, I am paying interest to have borrowed my own money from retirement and I don't

think that that was the smartest.

I kind of look at that financial decision as, like a bad haircut.

Fortunately, we have time to let it grow out.

In retrospect I think that it would have been good for us to have some kind of professional

guidance about the decisions that we were making.

The advice that I would give to other families like us is that it's okay to ask for help.

It's okay to ask for advice.

And it's probably a better idea to do that before you make the big financial decision

than after.

Kit review: ICM Horch 108 Typ 40 in 1/35 scale - Duration: 17:09.

Heavy all-terrain standard car Horch 108 Typ 40, ICM, 1/35 scale, kit review.

Hi everyone and welcome to the kit review video of Horch 108 Typ 40 or heavy all-terrain standard car by ICM in 1/35 scale.

Tracked vehicles emanate great fascination, but one should not forget about the smaller support vehicles.

I am very happy to see ll these new releases of cars and trucks by ICM.

Tamiya made a kit of this vehicle a long time ago already, but it is old now, so a new mold does not hurt.

Alright, let´s have a look inside the box.

ICM has one of the best boxing systems right now. The parts sit in this very solid carboard box.

The lid with the boxart just sits on top of the box, it won´t add much protection. Everything is very solid anyway.

However, the sprues are not wrapped in the most sophisticated way. Everything is squeezed into one bag.

In the past it did not cause any problems, but it looks a bit unprofessional at the first glance.

Let´s have a look at the instructions first. It is quite important in my opinion to understand, how the kit is meant to go together before you look at the parts.

There is some background information about the vehicle in English and Ukrainian i assume.

Some technical data, notes on safety and a paint chart.

The paint chart refers only to Model Master paints. I will use the paints i have here anyway, so it is not really relevant for me.

Down here is a legend to symbols.

On this double page you have a diagram with all included sprues and parts. The numbers of the parts are assigned to them.

These parts at the red rectangles won´t be used. Seems to be a folded convertible soft top.

On the next sprue there is a closed covertible soft top. Maybe you can build the model with an opened roof. One would have to try that.

The diagram is large and clearly arranged. The elderly amongst us model builders will be able to see everything there as well.

The assembly starts with the engine. It appears to be pretty detailed as you can see.

The drawings are big and clear.

Only few parts get installed in every step. It will help to maintain the overview.

Here we have the main frame assembly and the axles.

The vehicle had a 4-wheel drive system, so there is a lot going on in that area.

The springs consist of two halves. Not optimal, but one has to ask himself how much will be actually visible later, once the wheels are put on and you have weathered the model.

Pretty complex kit. Certainly not good for beginners, but the advanced model builder will be able to get it right.

Here they tell us the exact assembly sequence: First this part, then the other part. This is handy, it will avoid a few mistakes here.

This is nice, the drawing is enlarged here, so you can see where this fiddly small part goes.

Seem to be a very good instructions. Certainly better than the instructions of some other brands, like Dragon for example. Their instructions are a pain.

Everything up to now was about the running gear. It is no surprise, that the real vehicle got phased out at some point, because it was too expensive and tedious to build due to the complexity.

Finally we get to the car body assembly.

There are decals for the dashboard.

The way this goes together is sensible.

The look of the interior reminds me a lot of the Steyr 1500. No surprise, because it is a vehicle of a similar weight range as the Horch.

All sorts of small bits and pieces, like seats and bences, get installed here. All things you have in the car interior.

Rifles are included, too.

You have options for the door assembly: You can go for the normal doors or the ones with window frames.

The windows are small and combined with the closed convertible soft top you won´t see much of the interior later.

However, it makes sense if you intend to build a winter scene for the vehicle.

Some clear foil is used here for the windows. It is included in the kit, which is a nice touch.

Here we work on the main frame again, the drive train gets installed. I think you can do that earlier in the build already.

Radiator, steering rod, bonnet.

Good, we are almost through it already. Now we take a look at the convertible soft top.

Seems to come with some decent details, like the rolled up window lids. Lovely.

Some small bits and pieces get installed here, like rear mirrors and headlights. Thats it.

The painting and marking guide suggests four variants.

The first vehicle served with the 8. Panzerdivision in the Soviet Union in Summer 1941. It has an Army license plate.

The second vehicle has an Airforce license plate, the only information given is "Russia, Sommer 1942".

Version three has winter camo. Russia, Winter 1942.

The fourth one is sand yellow, Russia, Summer 1943. Both of these have Airforce license plates.

It is a shame that the units of the vehicles are not specified.

However, the guide is printed in color. There has to be at least one shortcoming at any given time.

In general i prefer the colored guide.

Very good instruction sheet, it won´t cause you much troubles.

Let´s move on to the parts. Here we have a couple of big parts that belong to the car body.

The radiator grill is extremely filigree. No flash in between these fine bars. Beautiful part.

Here on the edge there is some minimal flash, but that is easy to shave off.

The texture on the interior floor is nice.

There are no ejector pin marks visible.

There are some on the bonnet. If you want to show it opened you have to sand off the pin marks. Not a big deal, everyone should be able to do that.

Wow, here things get very fiddly! This sprue is crammed with small parts, which belong mainly to the main frame.

As we have seen already the main frame is the complex bit of this vehicle.

The high part count ensures a nice represenation of all the details, but it makes the assembly harder of course.

Looks good to me. There are no damaged parts. Apparently the "one bag method" is not bad. Let´s have a closer look.

There is some flash on these parts, but nothing major. Should be fairly easy to shave it off.

Just be careful here when you cut the parts off the sprue. Risk of damage is high. It will put some strain on your nerves.

Very little flash or other defects are visible. The parts are nicely molded.

Here we have the springs. As mentioned earlier they are split into two halves.

Not an ideal solution, but the springs won´t be visible right away later. Having it as one piece would have been more clever.

The padding of the benches and seats lack texture. You can add that texture yourself.

Some people use the wrapping paper of these "Riesen" chocolate cubes to represent worn out leather pads on such seats.

Not a bad idea at all, i might do that here to get some texture.

Things remain filigree on the next sprue. Here we have some parts for the interior.

The clamps for the rifles are already molded on. Interesting solution.

It would have been more clever to keep the clamps separated from the riles, so you could use the rifles for other things.

Insanely filigree parts here, be very careful when you handle these. I am sure i will break something in the process.

Don´t get frustrated and toss the kit into the corner. Have nerves of steel.

ICM kits have the tendency to be divided into many small parts.

The last few ICM kits of this sort i built where no problem at all though. They were actually great fun to put together, which is their purpose afterall.

The sprue of the wheel rims is included twice in the kit.

There is not much to say about them. They have one connection point to the sprue, which is handy when it comes to the cutting and cleaning up process.

The level of detail is alright. I think the real rims were quite flat looking as well, so this should be a good representation.

Here are the parts for the folded convertible soft top.

The instructions insist in not using them, but i assume you can use them anyway.

These are the normal doors. No ejector pin marks inside, details are nice.

I like this folded convertible soft top a lot, because it allows you to see the nice interior later. It would be almost a shame to hide it.

Here is the other convertible soft top, the one we are meant to use according to the instructions.

These are the doors with the window frames put on. Awesome for a winter scene.

I don´t think this option existed on earlier kits of this vehicle. The Tamiya kit came only with the folded convertible soft top as far as i remember.

There are some ejector pin marks on the roof, but you won´t see them at all through the tiny windows.

It is a nice option to have and i appreciate it to have the folded one in the kit as well.

The canvas texture and the creases look quite realistic to me. No complaining possible here.

The tires are made out of this soft material. A lot of model builders despise this solution. I personally do not care as long as the detail is alright.

This is the case here, there is just a bit of flash on some tires. It is tricky to get rid of that.

Due to the soft material you can not sand it away or cut it off.

A bit annoying, but normally it gets covered with some weathering or you can´t see it once the model sits on a diorama.

If you are in doubt, go for resin tires.

These cars require some clear parts. We have two parts for the wind shield and some headlight lenses.

The parts are nicely molded. I can not spot any defects. The windows are fairly thin as well. Nice.

For the windows on the side and the soft top cover we have to use this transparent foil.

The shapes of the windows are already printed on, so you can simply cut them out.

I think this is very handy. You do not have to make your own templates.

The shape is there, just cut it out and glue it in place. Seems like ICM thought this through.

The decal sheet is rather small. It features mainly license plates.

The carrier film is quite big, maybe you can see that. I recommend to trim it off as much as possible.

It is important to do that, especially when it comes to the license plates. You do not want to have some transparent carrier film protruding. It looks silly.

I recommend to cut the license plates along the black frames to avoid that.

The decals for the dashboard look nice.

ICM used to have terrible decals, but now they are pretty good. I used them a couple of times over the last years and it worked like a charm.

They conformed nicely to uneven surfaces as well, decal softener helped of course.

One has to admit that ICM now stands for good quality. This kit is no exception.

It is quite complex. Certainly not enjoyable for beginners, but advanced modellers won´t have troubles.

The level of detail is impressive: You get an engine, interior details and the main frame along with the transmmission are complete.

It openes a lot of possibilities for presentation as well, just think of a workshop scene for example.

If you are into figures you can populate the big interior with them.

The instructions are very nice, other brands can certainly learn from this example.

The decals are not as good as the rest of the kit. I am sure they work fine though. If you do not like them you can always replace them with spare decals.

It is good to know that the "changing of the guard" is a success. The Tamiya kit can retire now. This ICM kit is superior without a doubt.

The kit costs about 30€, which is okay. It is not a bargain, but it is not overpriced either. A fair deal i´d say.

ICM is a good alternative, just look at the price policy of other brands right now.

Alright, thats it for this kit review. I hope you enjoyed it. See you again in the next video, your Hamilkar Barkas.

Let's prepare our hearts - Episode 11: You will receive the power by Shayne bennet - Duration: 7:50.

Hello everybody,

we at ICCRS and the Catholic Fraternity are working very hard now with all the preparations

for the Golden Jubilee at Pentecost 2017.

As a way of preparing for that great historic occasion we are encouraging everybody

to spend some time praying on various themes relating to the Holy Spirit as we journey towards Pentecost.

So each month you can make a short biblical reflection and listen to one of the pioneers of the renewal

sharing their thoughts about that particular scripture.

So we hope you'll join with us in praying towards the Golden Jubilee!

It's a great joy for me to be with you

as we journey towards the great jubilee

of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal,

and I'd like to take a few moments just to

share with you a passage of scripture

which is really important for us as we

reflect on the great coming of the Holy Spirit.

And from the Acts of the Apostles,

which I'm sure you know very well,

we read from chapter 1 verse 4, where it says,

"When He had been a table with them,

He had told them not to leave Jerusalem,

but to wait there for what the Father had promised.

It is, He had said, what you have heard me speak about.

John baptized with water,

and you, not many days from now,

will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Now, having met together, they asked Him,

"Lord, has the time come?

Are you going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"

And He replied, "It's not for you to know times or dates

that the Father has decided by His own authority,

but you will receive power

when the Holy Spirit comes on you

and then you will be my witnesses,

not only in Jerusalem, but throughout Judea and Samaria,

and indeed to the ends of the earth." "

Now, there is just a few little points

that I'd like to draw out of that scripture,

and the first one is the promise:

the incredible promise of the Father

to give us a gift.

And it's, it's a gift of power.

And it's a gift that we actually need.

There's none of us that don't need this gift

if we are to be followers of Jesus.

And so there was a, there was a real challenge to wait,

as there is for us.

So, what is this waiting?

This waiting is meant to

stir up within us a sense of

being open to receive the gift.

The idea of vigil, of waiting,

of expectancy,

of the gift coming.

What'll it be?

And no one could imagine the wonderful gift that the Father had in mind

in giving us the Holy Spirit.

Now, now, for the Apostles, that happened at Pentecost,

where there was a tremendous outpouring,

where, if you spoke to one of the Apostles

and ask them, "Have you received the Holy Spirit?

Have you experienced the Holy Spirit in your life?"

The answer was obvious!

It would be like, "How could we forget such an experience?"

It was so profound, we were,

we were hiding together, we were praying together,

we were waiting together in this little room,

and all of a sudden, the power of God comes upon us.

Now, for us, in our lives, it's not always

an experience like that.

We have received the Holy Spirit in a our Baptism

and in our Confirmation.

And each time we receive the Eucharist,

we receive the life of God

within us and it's strengthened within us,

but sometimes we, we don't know how to respond,

or we're not aware, we're not expectant, we're not open.

And so we can create obstacles to

that experience of the Holy Spirit in our lives,

and the challenge for each of us is to wait,

is to pray, is to be open, and is,

is to join the church in saying,

"Come Holy Spirit,"

the great prayer of the church to the Holy Spirit

which has resonated through the centuries.

Of course the Holy Spirit has come,

but we need the Holy Spirit day by day by day.

And we need to awaken ourselves

to the fact that there is a gift residing within us

which is meant, not only for the animation of their own

spiritual life that, that we might be

effective disciples of Jesus, but for the

animation of the mission to the world,

that we might go out as authentic witnesses of Christ,

and reach the world with good news.

I guess the other point that I really want to make today,

the final point that I want to make,

is that want to make is that there comes a responsibility

with receiving that power of the Holy Spirit,

that just as Jesus said "You will go forth."

And, you'll start local, you'll go national, and you'll go international,

and so the reality is true for us.

It's a spreading, its like that ripple effect

of the word of God going forth. The good news going forth.

And we are challenged to be

instruments of that good news.

Pope Benedict, when he was in Sydney,

for World Youth Day, he said,

"What legacy will you leave to the next generation?"

What legacy will you leave to the next generation?"

How will you use the gifts given to you by the Holy Spirit?

I think that's a question for each of us today to answer.

What legacy will we give to the next generation

as a response to being faithful and obedient

to the action of the Holy Spirit within us.

Let's remember it's not just about us.

We have received a great gift:

a gift to be shared with the whole world,

and as Pope Francis has said,

take this Baptism in the Spirit to the whole world,

and to renew the church and transform the world.

Thanks for listening.

Gillian Jacobs' Character in 'Love' Has Issues: Improve Your Listening Skills - Duration: 2:30.

Hello, your show the second season of the show comes out right now on Netflix.

Like at midnight it was released.

Yeah. Which is perfect because my wife and I just finished watching the whole first season last weekend.

So, this is convenient for me.

Oh good. I think the show's very, very funny. I enjoy watching you.

You play a character who has a lot of pro--issues.

Maybe not problems.

Problems. Problems. Yeah. Let's--let's--go through some of her problems. Alright, let's. Umm, she is an alcoholic. Yes.

She is a drug addict. She has poor impulse control.

Uh, she is a slacker at work, and she is a sex and love addict.

Is that enough?

She also--I think has, maybe, rage issues as well.

Definitely. Yeah. She acts out. Uh, I tip a lot of things over in the second season. Yeah.

Oh, in the second season. Oh, yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of just--I think at one point I knock over a rack of children's tuxedos.

So, a lot to look forward to.

And who is your co-star in the show?

Paul Rust, who's also one of the creators of the show.

He's very funny. Yes, he is. He's a nerd. I mean, like a full out nerd. Yeah. Like I was telling one of the nerds who work here at the office, like, he.. like.. this

guy, Paul, is such a nerd that our nerd could play him in the movie version of Paul's life.

Like, he's more of a nerd than regular nerds.

You know what I'm saying?

He is a super nerd.

He's a super nerd.

He's very funny, I mean.

So funny.

Yeah, yeah.

I--I feel like I just insulted him now, but he--I mean, he knows.

He's not here. He is not here. It's OK, Paul. Paul and your mother are gonna be upset after the show.

Paul and my mother are enraged.

So and you don't drink or anything?

No, I've never drank in my entire life.

I have never had a drop of alcohol.

I've never done a drug in my life.

Oh, when I had this surgery, they--it--it was a minor surgery I came out and uh, the

nurse was like, "Here's your oxycodone" and I was like, "I've never even taken like a

vicodin.

I can't have this." And she was like, "It's fine. Take it." I was like, "This is how problems start."

Yeah. It was just straight up pill of oxy, so I'm holding. Did you take it?

No, I'm holding.

I mean, some of my friends were way too excited about this.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Right now there's somebody kicking in your front door at home.

I--I think I've gotta flush it for everyone sake.

It's probably.

Hey, you know, maybe not flush it because, you know, then it is in the water.

Oh, you're right.

I never thought about that.

Yeah. The fish are gonna get so high. Throw it in the - yeah - goldfish bowl. Yeah. It was very good to see you. The show is very funny. Thank you for having me.

It's called 'Love'. It's on Netflix. Watch it. Gillian Jacobs, everybody.
