Waching daily May 3 2017

What's the film about?

The film is about a character named Ray, that I play. who specializes in simulated abductions.

If you want to be kidnaped for fun, or therapeutic reasons you hire him.

It's a screwball comedy like they made in 30's and 40's, & it's a film noir like they made in 40's & 50's.

Pat, you've been in literally a hundred movies and an actor. Why this film as your directorial debuted?

This kid Mike Makowski who I had worked with on a short film, gave me the script just to read.

I was immediately taken with it. I thought it was funny, I thought it was tense, I love the character.

I wanted to be in it and direct it.

Do you think being a director now has changed the way you approach acting roles?

I think I have always thought of myself as a director because I have been such a cinephile since I was a kid.

I aways knew how to act but I always thought that was my way into doing this.

Then I became a writer for a period of time, about a decade. I was still acting in these smaller movies

and then came a time to finally be able to do this and find the right material. I would probably not put myself

in the lead of a movie again because, it was really fun to shoot. But going into a room for three or four months

editing, and looking at yourself every day and judging yourself was really masochistic of me.

And if I thought I might have had more time I might have casted somebody else in the role.

I want to talk about Taylor Schilling because she's fantastic in this movie.

So I had mentioned that one of the qualities of this movie was a screwball comedy and she remindes me

very much of one of those actresses in particular Carol Lambert who was such a great actress a great dramatic

actress and a great comedian who can do all these things. And this is also a character who had to go from

funny, to scary, to angry, to sad, and sometimes in one take. And I immediately just thought that she was the

right person for that. There wasn't any other choice in my mind. It's such a rare quality to be a beautiful and

glamorous movie start to then also be a classically trained actress. I was very fortunate in that way.

The you have this sort of subtext of the actors in the movie also playing roles of people playing roles.

WATCH Ann Coulter Slams Joy Behar Right To Her Face, It's Amazing - Duration: 2:27.

WATCH Ann Coulter Slams Joy Behar Right To Her Face, It's Amazing

Ann Coulter appeared on an episode of 'The View' and she crushed the ladies well.

They actually started by showing admitting that Coulter SHOULD be allowed to speak at

Berkeley college.

However, it soon became nasty.

"We believe in free speech here," Joy Behar told Coulter.

Even Whoopi Goldberg agreed.

"Berkeley, you made a mistake, man.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

That's the law," said Goldberg.

But then the pleasantries ended.

They began attacking President Trump for failing 'in the polls'.

"I think polls, apparently, don't work in the age of Trump," responded Coulter.

The started attacking President Trump's tax plan.

"It's clear, when you try to read it, it could save corporations trillions of dollars,

which would directly benefit the Trump family and Trump's businesses.

Does that at all bother you, and does it bother you we haven't seen his tax papers?" asked

View host Sunny Hostin.

Coulter began to talk about how she isn't bothered by President Trump refusing to release

his taxes.

She started talking about President Trump screwing with the press.

"I think he enjoys driving the press crazy," said Coulter.

"If anything, the people love him too much, and are not complaining when he doesn't

keep his promises," said Coulter.

Whoopi screamed more about why President Trump's numbers might be low.

"Maybe it's all the people who he called rapists and murderers," said Whoopi.

"They're not Americans!" responded Coulter.

800 Pounds Weight Loss Journey ! - Duration: 2:06.

Mayra Rosales has lost 800 pounds since the TLC "Half-Ton Killer," star previously

weighed 1,000 pounds, according to TV station KTLA.

"I was dying," the star told the media outlet.

"I don't know if you had seen pictures before – you could see it in my face.

I had given up in life.

I was alive but not living a life."

Rosales first came to the public's awareness after being accused of accidently "crushing"

her eight-year-old nephew to death, which was reportedly "a lie to protect her sister,"

KTLA reported.

She gained nationwide attention after TLC documented the case in the television program,

"Half-Ton Killer?"

Prosecutors eventually dropped the charges against Rosales after determining she had

lied to protect her sister.

Rosales explained that at the time, she had given up on life.

"I was dying.

I don't know if you had seen pictures before you could see it in my face.

I had given up in life," she told the television station.

"I was alive but not living a life."

Confined to her bed because of her weight, Rosales felt like she was a prisoner.

But about 7 years later and 800 pounds lighter, she has a much different outlook on life.

She was able to lose the weight through multiple surgeries — including a lap band procedure

— and dieting.

She is 30 pounds away from her goal weight, the station reported Wednesday.

Whereas she once lived to eat, Rosales told KTRK her perspective has completely changed.

"Food to me is I have to eat to live … it's just something normal," she said.

Rosales hopes sharing her story will encourage and motivate others who are struggling with

their weight like she once did.

Her advice to them: "Do not lose hope and keep fighting because we only have one life,

and it's well worth fighting for it."

How to Control Breathing While Singing - Duration: 5:01.

Hello, hello, hello!

My name is Katarina and I am the founder of How 2 Improve Singing and today, I want to

talk about breathing.

How to control breathing while singing.

I want to give you a simple exercise to make your breathing very natural.

Last week, I was able to participate in an online workshop with Jessica Wolf.

She is a master teacher of Alexander Technique and the author of The Art of Breathing.

At the very beginning of the workshop, she defined breathing.

Breathing is a 3-dimentional change of shape of our body of our torso.

I thought this was really simple but effective because when I started to think about breathing

in this way, I noticed that my breathing got deeper without really doing a lot of work.

So let me explain.

When singers focus on breathing, many of them focus on just their belly moving in and out

during breathing.

Some singers even pay attention to the sides of their bodies and expansion sideways.

Many singers even know about the diaphragm moving down on inhalation and up on exhalation.

But the truth is that when we breathe the way the nature intended for us to breathe,

all these movements happen at the same time and we breathe very naturally.

So I want to do an experiment with you, an exercise.

I want you to find a position that is comfortable for you.

Align your body.

You can be standing or sitting.

And just breathe, continue breathing. How to take breath while singing.

Don't do any extra hard work, don't breathe more deeply than you would normally.

Just breathe and start noticing your body how it moves, where it moves, which body parts

are moving.

Do you feel any tension?

Any pain?

Is it easy?

Is it difficult?

In which direction the body parts are moving?

Start thinking about breathing as a 3-dimentional shape change of your torso.

And you can even use your hands to feel the movement.

So you can feel the movement of your chest, how it is expanding on inhalation.

Even the movement sideways.

Then you can touch your body, your lower torso and feel the belly moving and the sides of

your body.

And then, put your hands on your back and feel how your back is moving when you are

breathing.

And the reason for that is a big part of our lungs are at the back.

So when we breathe naturally, the back will expand, will widen.

And although you don't feel your diaphragm, you can imagine having your diaphragm moving

down on inhalation and up with exhalation.

And now, breathe naturally. How to breathe while singing.

Don't take any deep breaths, don't work harder than normally, just very naturally.

And keep all these ideas in your head.

Breathing is a 3-dimentional shape change or your body. How to control breathing while singing.

And now I want you to think about your discoveries.

Was your breathing deeper when you were thinking about this definition?

Did anything change in your body?

Was it easier?

Did you feel tension?

Did you feel pain?

Was it natural?

Was it hard work?

Was it easy?

And that's really all for today I wanted to share with you how to control breathing while singing.

Please, in the comments below, let me know about your discoveries, about this exercise.

How you felt about it.

If you have any questions, post your questions too.

If you like this video, click the like button, share it with your friends and I will see

you in the next video.

Until then, happy singing and happy breathing.

WATCH Nancy Pelosi Comes UNHINGED On Live TV – She's Lost It… - Duration: 2:20.

WATCH Nancy Pelosi Comes UNHINGED On Live TV – She's Lost It…

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has been fighting accusations that her mental health

is in jeopardy for months as she continues to launch nonsensical attacks on Donald Trump.

Now, a new interview has surfaced that appears to confirm Pelosi really is losing it.

Western Journalism reported that got her presidents mixed-up Sunday during an interview with ABC's

This Week as she insisted the Democratic Party is getting stronger.

This came after host Jonathan Karl asked Pelosi if she thinks the Democrats can work with

President Trump.

"I see everything as an opportunity.

And I've never have seen so much willingness to help win.

And winning means winning for the American people, that either we win or whoever wins

understands the priorities of the American people," Pelosi said.

"And they are not with President Bush."

She quickly realized her mistake.

"I'm so sorry, President Bush," Pelosi said theatrically.

"I never thought I would pray for the day that you were president again."

She went on to try to save herself from further humiliation.

"And so you asked the question, how would I work with a Republican president?

The way we worked with President Bush," Pelosi said.

"We got a great deal accomplished.

… Biggest energy bill in the history of our country, a tax bill that helped low-income

working families that we wanted and we wanted to be big and we found our common ground.

The list goes on and on."

BOMBSHELL: Stunning Detail Emerges About Obama's Past… Michelle Was NOT The First - Duration: 2:29.

Former President Barack Obama has always had a incredibly mysterious past.

However, a smoking gun was just publicized about his past — now we know that former

First Lady Michelle Obama was not the first woman the 44th president proposed to.

He initially proposed to Sheila Miyoshii Jager.

Washington Times reports:

A new book, "Rising Star," shedding light on Barack Obama's past, suggests he was

more politically ambitious at a younger age than previously believed — and that he had

asked another woman to marry him before he ever met his eventual partner, Michelle.

The other woman, Sheila Miyoshii Jager, shot Obama down because her mother thought she

was too young.

Jager, at the time of the 1986 reported proposal, was 23 years old; Obama, 25.

They continued to date for a while longer, though.

And she's since dished on their relationship.

"I remember very specifically that by 1987, about a year into our relationship, he already

had his sights on becoming president," she said, author David Garrow writes.

And maybe Jager's Dutch-Japanese heritage was a political liability to Obama?

In a review of the book, The Washington Post wrote: "Garrow portrays Obama as a man who

ruthlessly compartmentalized his existence; who believed early on that he was fated for

greatness; and who made emotional sacrifices in the pursuit of a goal that must have seemed

unlikely to everyone but him."

Obama, early on, looked at Chicago as a possible venue for his political aspirations.

He also thought of the U.S. Senate — and we all know how that turned out, right?

"The review pointed out another book that said at the time [of his formative political

aspirations] that it could be seen as a political liability for a black politician in the area

to have a wife that was not African-American," Fox News reported.

"Barack and Sheila had continued to see each other irregularly throughout the 1990-91

academic year, notwithstanding the deepening of Barack's relationship with Michelle Robinson,"

Garrow wrote.

"'I always felt bad about it,' Jager reportedly said."

What do you think about this?

Please SHARE this news and let us know what you think of this stunning revelation.

H&S Motorsports ECODiesel Add a Turbo Kit Overview - Duration: 4:13.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

All right.

I'm Cooper, with Diesel Power Products.

And I am excited for the release of this kit.

Finally, for your '14 to newer Eco Diesel guys,

H&S Motorsports has released their compound turbo kit.

So if you're already running some sort

of off-road application tuning, this little bad boy

is going to add you quite a bit of horsepower,

quite a bit of EGT drop, and quite a bit of fun factor.

Whoo!

So we start this thing off with a nice S364 SXE.

This was spec'd out by H&S Motorsports.

I've been running one for about 20,000 miles now.

It completely rocks.

And I'm very, very happy with the SXE lineup.

Some nice features for you guys that

like to geek out on the tech side of things.

They've got a boss already molded

into this compressor cover for you to monitor shaft speed.

And if you're curious where this thing is spinning with a 60

horse PPI tune, at max speed, I see out

of it's about 80,000 RPMs.

It's got about 130,000 RPM redline.

From there, the piece that kind of

starts off the whole kit and locates everything that's

needed is this bad boy.

Bolts right on to the turbine outlet on the factory charger.

Bolts on to the side of the head where your EGR cooler would go.

Kit comes with all needed parts for EGR cooler relocation kit.

When I say relocation kit, it goes

into the thing that gets picked up once a week

by the guy in the big truck.

Beep, beep, beep.

But bolts on to the turbine outlet of your factory charger.

Bolts on to the head, locates this big bad boy.

And then also has everything needed for you

to run an external waste gate off of the factory EGR cooler

supply line.

Kind of a nice set up.

Kit also comes with a two-piece downpipe.

Makes it real easy to install.

Ties right back into your exhaust,

from the downpipe back.

Charger cooler piping, from the big charger

to your little factory charger.

Cold air intake comes with a really big, really big air

filter there, and all needed hoses, boots, clamps.

And then sensor extensions for your mass airflow sensor

and your CCV [WHISTLES] heater setup.

Also included, braided lines for your oil supply for that turbo,

that work with both the H&S oil cooler,

or non-H&S oil cooler application.

So, either one.

And then, of course, all heat shielding and everything else

needed for you to reroute the coolant lines for the EGR

cooler.

We've also got ourselves a nice little block-off plate

for the intake manifold, and all needed hardware.

Pretty slick little set up.

They thought of it all.

It looks good.

It installs real easy.

So for you shade tree mechanics that

like to do stuff on your own, I would not

be intimidated by this kit at all.

A lot of people wonder, why would I

want to put a compound kit on my eco diesel.

Well, aside from the obvious, this

is America and more and more.

So let's get those horse ponies rolling and have some fun.

There are some added benefits.

That factory charger is completely undersized.

It doesn't even move enough air to really hit

even 300 horsepower.

And with that, you get increased EGTs and a lot of other things.

For the longevity of your motor and for an easy power add-on,

this kit is going to benefit you in all facets.

You end up with lower EGTs, which

in turn drops your coolant temps, which

in turn drops your oil temps.

And everything stays a whole heck of a lot happier.

For more information on this kit, sold solely

through dieselpowerproducts.com, contact

us-- or anything else EcoDiesel -related.

Keep them tires frying, and have some fun, people.

Buy Low - Sell High...Why managing your emotions is the key! - Duration: 6:02.

Good morning, everybody.

We are back in the room, we're not outside.

And I have Christie with me, which is a huge help.

So, I don't have to drive in a car, and put my life at risk for all of you!

Okay, so, I have this picture up today to start and the reason why is because I'm

going to give you a scenario.

By the way, I'm Mike Palios, and I give my clients confidence to make great financial

decisions.

Okay, so, let's say that Bessie, alright, Bessie calls me up and she goes, "Michael,

oh my gosh."

She calls me Michael, most of you aren't allowed, but she is.

So, Bessie calls me up and she says, "Michael, you're not going to believe this.

I went to Dillards, and they're having a sale.

Everything is marked up 30%!

I think I'm going to go buy something."

What do you think my reaction would be?

Or, if your spouse called you, and said the same thing, what would your reaction be?

You'd be like, "that's not how sales go."

Okay?

So, why would I use that example?

Well, a lot of people, when they enter the market and they start investing, they do the

same thing.

They…

So, now I'm going to pull up a chart with lots of fancy stuff.

Very technical.

This is a very technical stock market chart, okay?

So, let's talk about this.

The black line – that is the market.

The market goes up, and the market goes down.

Now, the big, general trend is that the market goes like this…it goes low, and it is higher.

However, there are certain points where the market doesn't go up, it actually goes down.

So, what a lot of people do is they buy here, 30% markup sale.

And then, the market goes down.

And they panic, they get upset, they enter the market excited.

They're so excited, they/'re investing.

All their friends are giving them all hot stock tips, and they're buying, and they're

buying up here.

And then the market takes a downturn.

And they panic.

They get upset.

They get depressed.

And they sell.

So, now you've bought at the high, and you've sold at the low, okay?

Christie just shook her head…that's bad.

And that's the opposite of what you want to do, except this is what everybody does.

What we want to do is we want to buy here, and no matter what the market does, we want

to stay and be disciplined and not have emotions dictate what we do with our money.

Because, if you believe in capitalism, and that the market will work out over time, at

some point, that is what is going to happen.

And you will experience this…

So, again, very very technical.

But you, it doesn't need to be technical.

We can get into average and actual rates of return, we can get into standard deviation,

risk, we can get into all that stuff.

But we don't need to do that.

We need to manage our emotions and our behaviors.

So, what do I do?

I give my clients confidence to make great financial decisions.

And, I also…I get paid to manage people's emotions and behavior when it comes to their

money.

So that they don't do that.

And, so that they can experience some of that.

Okay?

So, that's what I do.

I hope that this makes sense.

What you need to do when you're talking with your advisor – your advisor should

be having this conversation with you.

And what you need to do is say, "Look, when the market goes down, what are we going to

do?

What's our approach, what's our plan, how are we going to manage that?"

And if you're not satisfied with the answer, then ask questions, okay?

I get questions all the time, and what I tell people is the following when we do our reviews.

And when we look today, the market is up – I'm sorry, you're account is up 20%, or whatever

the number is.

And you like me today.

Next time we talk, your account may be down 20%.

And you don't like me that day.

Actually, I'm like your least favorite person.

And I'm going to give you the same advice both days.

Sit tight, hold firm, and do not make any changes based on emotion.

We're not going to make any bad behaviors, okay?

The dips of the market like this are just a blip on the radar screen when you look back

over time.

It feels like many many moons ago when Brexit happened, and the market went down 6% in a

day, and then 9 days later, it was back up on top, okay?

Now, we are at all-time highs, one day, the market is going to go down, and we're not

going to make any changes, and that may be the opportunity to not sell low, but to do

buy right there…Buy Low, Sell High.

Not Buy High, Sell Low, okay?

So, keep your emotions in check, make sure you're managing your behaviors, and make

sure your advisor is having conversations like this with you so that you can make informed

decisions.

I hope you found this helpful.

If you have any agreements or disagreements, leave some comments on the bottom so we can

have a dialogue.

Again, it can't be specific.

We can have general conversations about this.

But I hope this was education and informative for you, okay?

Talk with you soon…take care.

Board game conversion tutorial - Part 1 - Duration: 5:58.

This is a tutorial for how to create a touch table board game using the Unity game engine.

In this tutorial, I'm going to convert the game called "No Thanks".

I'm going to start with some art and audio assets from other projects and a basic set

of re-use code.

All of the code and art assets are available for download in the accompanying blog post.

The post has a lot more detail about what is happening and a detailed description of

the re-use code that I am starting from.

Let's get started.

Open Unity and create a new 2D project called No Thanks.

I'm using Unity 5.6 for this tutorial.

The first thing that we are going to do is add a couple plugins to the project.

I'm adding the free version of DoTween to this project from the Unity Asset Store.

After you import DoTween, you may be prompted to setup the plugin.

Just follow the onscreen instructions if that happens.

I use DoTween for creating animations.

DoTween allows you to programmatically move, resize and rotate objects, change colors,

fade in and out, and many other transformations over a given interval.

Next I'm going to import the TextMesh Pro asset.

This asset provides a much more powerful and slightly better looking text field for the

Unity UI.

Next, I'm going to copy the Newtonsoft.JSON and WindowsVoice plugins, art and audio assets,

and my re-use code into the project.

These archives are available at the website linked below.

Copy these into the top level of the Asset directory.

Go back into Unity.

Unity will parse all the assets and add them to your project

Most of the assets are fine as imported, but I have several image files which are sprite

sheets and contain multiple images.

Unity has to be told that an image file has multiple sprites and how to sub-divide those

images.

Click on the "borders" image and set the "Sprite Mode" to "multiple".

Apply the change and bring up the Sprite Editor window.

Slice the image by setting the Slice Type to "Grid by Cell Count" and then entering

the number of rows and columns in the image.

Setup the sub-images as 9-boxes by clicking on each image in the sprite sheet and setting

the borders to 16 pixels.

Once you are done apply the changes, and repeat the process for the rest of the images that

are sprite sheets.

Setting the borders on an image allows the Unity UI to use an image type of "Sliced".

In this mode, the corners are drawn as is, the sides are stretched along their edge and

the middle is stretched to fill the center.

This allows the borders to be the same fixed size even though the image size doesn't

match.

The button image should also be setup as a 9-box with 16 pixel borders.

At this point the project window should list the individual images under each of the imported

sprite sheets.

Next I am going to set the name of the project and add the icon.

These are in the player settings under the edit menu.

I'll also set the resolution dialog to hidden by default.

The game will default to full screen, but you can press ALT immediately after running

the program to change the resolution.

Add the icon.

I'll also turn off the Unity splash screen.

Next I'll change the version control settings to force all Unity files to be visible and

have text serialization.

This is the best setting for most version control software.

When adding a project to version control, you can always skip the top level Library

directory.

Finally, save the scene.

In the next video I'll setup the cameras that will render the scene and the canvases

that the game elements will be placed on.

Study Says Buying A Congress Member's Vote Is Cheaper Than You Think - Duration: 4:32.

According to a new report published in the International Business Times, it's actually

not that expensive, if you have the money, to buy the loyalty of a member of Congress.

Specifically, it's not that expensive to buy the loyalty of a member of Congress if that

person happens to be a Democrat.

One of the case examples that they use in this report is the dismantling of Dodd-Frank

legislation, and they found that for every $100,000 given to a Democrat, the chances

that they would vote in favor of dismantling Dodd-Frank rose by 13.9%.

$100,000, you're almost 14% more likely to kill this legislation.

That's really not a lot of money when you're talking about corporations who benefit from

this — Wells Fargo, Bank of America, UBS — who pull in tens of billions of dollars

every single year.

So maybe they have to spend two, three hundred thousand for a few different congresspeople

to get them to change their vote and gut a piece of regulation that prevents these big

banks from committing crimes, or makes the punishments a little bit harsher.

But what this report really does is tells us exactly how corrupting money has become

in our legislative process.

$100,000 for a 14% increase in likelihood that you're going to vote in favor of the

corporation rather than in favor of the people.

There aren't a whole lot of citizens in the United States that can afford to give lots

of members of Congress a couple thousand dollars apiece, but there's plenty of corporations.

And that's what's so scary about this.

Yeah, there are liberal organizations that raise money and work on campaign funding,

lobbying, and things of that nature, but that money will never be enough to compete with

even one fossil fuel company, or even one big bank.

You could take all of the grassroots money in this country, combine it, and you'll never

get as much money for lobbying or direct campaign donations as you would from a single pharmaceutical

company, or a single big bank, or a fossil fuel company.

We are up against such tremendous odds in this country, and it's all because of the

conservative Supreme Court.

That Citizens United ruling, it did damage to democracy, but most importantly, it did

damage to the Democratic Party.

If you look back at the timeline of the top donors to the Democratic Party before Citizens

United, it was trial lawyers and unions.

You know, groups that literally exist to protect American workers.

As soon as that Citizens United ruling hit, guess who took over as the top donor?

Securities firms and Wall Street banks.

And how has their voting habits changed since then?

Well, we've seen it.

We've seen Dodd-Frank dismantled and watered down by Wall Street lobbyists who were walking

the halls of Congress, working on that.

We have seen them protect the big banks; we've seen them bail out the big banks instead of

American taxpayers.

We've seen the Justice Department slap very small fines on these banks that engage in

criminal behavior, and they don't put a single person behind bars.

And the Democratic Party's to thank for that, because the Republicans have always been corrupt,

we've known that, but it wasn't until Citizens United came along that we really got to see

the corruption within the Democratic Party.

And this new report, published in International Business Times, really kind of nails it home

for us.

$100,000, and suddenly, a Democrat is willing to vote in favor of a corporation instead

of a regular human being.

4K 60P H.265 Live Streaming from Boxcaster Pro - Duration: 7:45.

hey Dave Curlee with Church Training

Academy and I am here at NAB 2017 and I

am standing in the boxcast booth with

Gordon Daily. When I when I got a

share quick story

when I saw this the other day when you

came over to our booth for the stream

and you told me what this amazing little

thing does I just about lost my

faculties I could not believe what

you're getting ready to tell me about

this wonderful box as you know I'm

working in the small medium sized church

business right and my audience is

constantly asking me who do I stream

with how do I stream how do we stream

our services how do we do things like

that and and my job is provide training

and tools and equipment to do that

you're blowing me away with this tell

our audience here just exactly what this

box caster it is well this is the box

caster Pro so what this is is a 4k 60

frames per second HDR HEV C encoder all

in this little package unbelievable with

that Ruby said H HEV see there hhtv said

both HDR and HEV C right so the deeper

color depth and the better video

compression right so it just it's so in

case you don't know HEV C is h.265 we're

all using all of our mp4 files we're

doing H dot 264 we've been doing that

for a number of years this is the the

higher compression higher quality lower

bitrate encoder right that's right with

h.265 you get the advantage of the same

video quality at half the bitrate right

and for most small medium sized churches

the biggest issue for them in the

quality of the video is the uplink speed

that's what we deal with in our church

we've got a Time Warner or somebody like

that we've got like maybe on paper five

megabits up but in reality on a Sunday

morning with like 300 smartphones and

all this kind of stuff we may get to

going up this you tell me that this can

help overcome that completely

oh absolutely so it's better compression

makes a big difference but the other

thing there's a few other factors too

secondarily is you only

send one signal up to us everybody else

has a scent all the other sized pictures

that you can watch it on mobile devices

and smaller but we do one because we do

cloud transcoding on the fly so that

means you can preserve your bandwidth to

get the best picture up and most of the

time the network isn't always perfect

right so we've got what we call box cash

flow which is a better way to transmit

data because we make our own encoders

because we have our own cloud

transcoding we can have a special

technology in between that makes the

video flow more reliable - whether those

bad Network conditions so can you give

me like a real-world idea of what a like

a 1080p stream going up at I mean you

know 2 megabits h.264 equivalent what

what could would be using 2 megabits

will be using 1 I mean what give me an

idea

sure so if you're doing a really nice

1080p stream you might be five Meg's

okay right and we might recommend a

custom as well you need a little bit of

breathing room there's other things that

happen to the church while you're

streaming maybe you're looking for a 10

up connection we usually try to tell

them to double it so if you're moving to

h.265 though with that compression you

immediately only need half as much to

maintain the same level of quality so a

5 mega connection would allow me to do

two two and a half and get the same

quality and because of what you guys do

with the signal it gets there a lot

easier that's right and you can think of

it the other way to it for the same

bandwidth you can double the quality of

the picture oh cool yeah yeah that's

good okay so what I'll do I get with the

big box caster box because and as I'm

understanding it no matter what

infrastructure I have a TriCaster or a

live stream unit or some old hardware

anything like that this is going to

handle the final the final run up to the

service that's right so you work on

everything to make the live production

where you want it and then you just take

the output of all that hard work the

good camerawork the good mixing take

your program output feed from that feed

that right in the box and the rest gets

handled for you fantastic and you guys

actually have a streaming service as

well that we could use to implement on

our website correct that's right and

that's probably one of the most

important parts is because you want to

make sure you can handle any size

audience you want to make sure that your

viewers are getting the

best experience and it just always plays

and that's the problems that we've been

working very painstakingly over the

number of years to have as good an

experience as possible it doesn't matter

if you're a huge major league sporting

team or your small church with just 50

people right so one of the things that I

get asked a lot is for a hosting service

you know a lot people want to use

YouTube because it's free or they want

to use Ustream or somebody like that to

host it there's always cost it is always

a factor and the smaller the church the

lower the budget how do you guys address

that or I mean that I see services out

there that a lot of churches are using

and it's sad but I think these services

take advantage of the church because

they're not as as savvy as tech savvy

and I think they take advantage of that

with you know we understand that the

church is a budget mind right and what's

wonderful about box gas is that our

plans offer unlimited viewership

unlimited numbers of events so they just

come to our website our pricing is right

there on the website on purposes because

it's one of the biggest advantages we

have so with all that transcoding with

all that special technology to get the

video up we have these really affordable

plans starting at $19 a month and they

go up as expensive as you want to get

the level of quality that you want those

numbers of function and functionality

and features that you need for your

organization a small church things start

at 20 bucks yeah you know and the

average church pays us a little for a

hundred dollars a month because they

like to have their storage of the videos

on their website for a long period of

time they want to have a higher quality

maybe to go up to 1080p instead of 720

because what 19 you get to get 720 but

it's really easy to see on our website

all the different things you get the

other thing that churches really need a

lot of is if something goes wrong within

a call right so we offer live support

for our plans I think on the $99 and up

plans and we have a great relationship

with our clients whenever they have

questions they just call us we work we

work it out with them yeah I love this

it sounds like your your meeting meeting

the needs no matter what the spectrum is

and this box I I'm amazed at what you're

doing at I'm not running into too many

people that are encoding and streaming

up sending up h.265 so that's that's

impressive well in the biggest reason

why you're never going to see that for

the smaller organizations is because

there's no cloud transcoding services

gonna be able to take that better

compression it's a hundred times more

computationally intensive to squeeze

that down

to that level of quality for the higher

for the higher resolutions fantastic

just at first glance this seems to be

one of the best easiest ways to start I

mean with the inputs you have here

I mean HDMI right there you can

literally start with just a camera like

the camera I'm shooting on the camera

and an internet connection well you know

what it's even easier than that you

don't even have to spend money for

hardware we've got a wonderful free

iPhone streaming app that'll let you

stream pretty good quality that's a

great place to start to the antenna

reason why every organization shouldn't

be making these events available to

people that can't be there in the church

setting there's so many individuals

whether they're home sick or they're

traveling with a family or they're

fighting you know overseas you know

there's just or they're off to college

trying to figure out what they want

their lives to be like it's nothing like

going home and be able to be a part of

the church community again guys yo

you'll be hearing more from box cast but

for me at least because I'm in love with

this I'm going to try to get my crew to

distract him so I can steal one so in

Jesus name so thanks a lot you bet

thanks guys
