Make Your Own Headpins - Seven Different Types of DIY Headpins from Wire Wrapping Basics - Duration: 4:54.To make all of the headpins in this lesson with me, you will need seven - 2 inch lengths
of silver plated 26 gauge wire.
As I've mentioned before, you can certainly use other gauges and materials, but that's
what I'm using for the purposes of this lesson.
So, once we've straightened all the two inch lengths of wire, we can dive in!
We'll start with the single roll headpin.
Bend the very end of one of the wires with one of your chain nose pliers.
Use the pliers to flatten the tiny loop and you have your completed single roll headpin.
This is a super easy and super fast way to make a headpin, but it's important to note
that it will only support beads with smaller holes.
Beads with larger holes will require a headpin with much more substance.
That said, let's move right on to the double and triple roll headpins.
These headpins start out with the same two steps used in the single roll headpin.
To make a double roll, hold the single roll in your chain nose pliers and bend the wire
around the roll.
To make a triple roll, release the pliers and repeat this step one more time.
A bent basic loop headpin is exactly what it sounds like.
Make a basic loop on your wire with your round nose pliers.
With your chain nose pliers, gently bend the loop to a ninety degree angle so it becomes
a shelf for the bead to sit on.
A spiral headpin also starts with a small basic loop.
We then use the same steps we used to create the roll headpins.
You can change the final look by changing the size of the initial loop.
You can even start with a tiny roll to create a tight spiral.
To finish the look, you can bend the wire so it sits directly in the middle of the spiral.
To make a bent spiral headpin, add the additional step of bending the spiral to a ninety degree
angle so it becomes a shelf for the bead to sit on.
A coil headpin begins with a basic loop, but instead of just one loop, continue wrapping
around the round nose pliers for two or three rotations.
You will then have a coil to serve as the bottom of the headpin.
Bend the wire at a ninety degree angle so the coil becomes a shelf for the bead.
The tied coil headpin is exactly the same as the regular coil headpin, except that instead
of bending the wire at a ninety degree angle, your going to feed it through the hole in the coil, creating a knot.
You may find it easier to pull the wire end with your chain nose pliers to secure the knot.
I always find that I get a much prettier end product when I use the pliers to tighten things
down instead of my fingers.

Making Your Own Eyepins from Wire Wrapping GutsyGuide: Mastering the Basics - Duration: 4:25.To make the items in this lesson, you will only need two - 2 inch lengths of silver plated
26 gauge wire.
You can certainly use other gauges and materials, but that's what I'm using for the purposes
of this lesson.
The difference between and eyepin and a headpin is simple.
An eyepin has a loop that's meant to serve as a connector, while a headpin has a terminating
bead or knot that constitutes the boundary of a design.
These loops, beads and knots show up in many more ways than I will list here, but to get
you started, I will be showing you how to make two types of eyepins in this lesson and
seven types of headpins in the next.
So, once we've straightened out the two inch lengths of wire, we can dive in.
The first eyepin I will show you is the basic loop eyepin.
To start, use the same exact technique that we used to make a plain basic loop with your
round nose pliers.
Here's the part that's different: Unlike a plain basic loop, we want the loop of an eyepin
to be centered, so using your chain nose pliers, adjust the loop so the remaining wire stands
straight up from the middle of the loop.
You will notice that the loop opens a bit during this process.
Gently use the chain nose pliers to close it.
The second type of eyepin I will show you is the wrapped loop eyepin.
About 3/4 inch from the edge of the wire, make a loop with your round nose pliers.
Just as when we were learning how to make the basic loop, we come up against the fact
that a human wrist will only twist so far.
The first twist away from you will create a lopsided upside down "U."
We will now perform a fancy little move that I like to call the "Release and Switch."
Here's what I mean by this.
To make the initial bend, you secured the wire in the jaws and twisted away from you.
Now, you will release the wire from the pliers, twist your wrist back towards you and slide
the jaw closest to you between the bent wire.
You will now be able to grip the short end of the wire and twist it around to complete
the loop.
The intersection of the loop will now form a ninety degree angle.
You will need two pairs of chain nose pliers for this next part.
Hold the loop firmly in one pair of pliers with the jaws parallel to the short end of
the wire.
Use the other pair of pliers to wrap this short end around the long end.
I usually do three rotations.
Once you've completed your rotations, trim the excess wire with your snips.
Still holding the loop in your pliers, move the other pair of pliers in the same direction
of the wrap to tighten the wire.
And now, I will interject my opinion.
Hands down, I always prefer the wrapped loop.
First, I think it looks cleaner and more professional.
Second, and probably more importantly, it's much sturdier.
The basic loop can be maneuvered out of its original shape very easily, but you've got
to work pretty hard to pull the wrapped loop out of shape.
If these two styles had personalities, they would look like this: The wrapped loop requires
a little more work upfront, but is emotionally stable, reliable and can withstand quite a
bit of pressure.
The basic loop, on the other hand, while fun and easy at first, turns out to be a bit neurotic
and is prone to nervous collapse at the first sign of trouble.
Where do I come up with this stuff?
Nobody knows, not even me.
Onward and upward to headpins!

7 Football stars you DIDN'T KNOW are VEGAN and how it helped them perform better! - Duration: 3:28.Welcome to Football Tracker,
We are going to take a look at 7 football stars you din't know were Vegan.
There is a growing trend of footballers turning to vegan for various reasons.
We take a look at 7 footballers who turned Vegan and how they benefitted from it.
1.Lionel Messi: Messi was prescribed what is pretty much a
vegan diet, making emphasis in organic whole foods and plenty of fruits and vegetables
The changes he made by restricting the consumption of animal products and eating more fresh fruit
and vegetables made a decisively positive impact on his performance.
By implementing those simple changes to his diet, Messi lost roughly 3 kilograms in weight
and stopped his muscle injury problems.
He also scored 98 goals in 102 games for Barcelona, ending Cristiano Ronaldo's run of Golden
Ball success.
2.Sergio Aguero
Sergio Aguero was a huge fan of Argentinian meat, but this was banned by his doctor who
switched him to a Vegan Diet.
His form improved dramatically and he was injury free for almost a year.
It helped him win the golden boot.
3.Russell Martin
The Scottish international suffers from a condition called ulcerative colitis and said
the change in his diet was initially to help relieve symptoms of the illness.
He said that he has managed to maintain and gain slight improvements in everything in
terms of jumping, speed and agility,.
He recovers quicker after games now and feels good.
He says that he can't think of one negative thing in his game.
4.Jermaine Defoe
Jermain Defoe has credited a recent switch to a vegan diet as being partly behind his
continued excellence at the top level as the striker seeks to maintain his form and remain
in contention within the England set-up following his goalscoring return to the national side.
He said "I have a better understanding of my body now."
Defoe had thought of retiring from international football when he had moved to the MLS, but
turning Vegan was something that did help him have successful seasons on his return
with Sunderland.
5.Phil Neville
After his retirement, former Manchester United and Everton star Phil Neville stated that
he had become an animal rights activist with PETA.
He said that 2.5 million animals a day are being slaughtered and that is a damning statistic
that we need to do something about.
He has shifted to Vegetarian and suggested to footballers that a lot of nutrients required
could be obtained from a vegetarian diet.
6.Jason Roberts
Former Blackburn star Jason Roberts turned vegetarian because it was the only way he could
keep his weight down.
He said that eating meat increased his weight and he could not be agile enough to play as
a striker and because he turned vegan, he was more fit to move about.
7.Phil Jagielka
The Everton and England star suffered from countless injuries, which is why he has made
changes to his diet.
He turns Vegan during the entire course of the season and during the holiday, eats meat.
There is a growing trend of footballers turning to vegan.
It is evident from the list that we have just showed you.

First, outline your fidget spinner on some cardboard.
Then place the bearing in the center.
This is the bearing which I took out of my fidget spinner.
Now cut it out.
Cool, I just attached some coins to it using the superglue.
And now, you basically have to place the bearings in the center.
That's it.
You've done it.
Your very own homemade fidget spinner.
