Have you ever thought, "I wish I could pack all these chickens into the smallest space
possible?"
Well now you can, with the new Egg Tube!
Simply deposit at least two chickens through your method of choice.
You could always use a Golden Lasso or Safari Net, but I am using the Capturing Wand from
Not Enough Wands.
Once your chickens are in, simply insert seeds through the patented Food Window, aaaaand
Voila!
You can capture as many chickens as you'd like in this weirdly confined space.
But wait, there's more!
Are you annoyed by all these clucking sounds caused by your egg farm?
Simply place a Bergamute nearby, and clucking will be greeeatly reduced.
You could also use a Sound Muffler from Extra Utilities for a similar effect.
Alright, but in all seriousness, how do you build this?
Well, it's fairly simple.
All you need is a hopper, and then any kind of block you'd like from Chisels and Bits.
What I did here was I just took a Drawn Region of the inside of a hopper and I kind of formed
a tube out of it.
As you can see the inside of the hopper is actually quite a bit lower than the outside,
so if you build a tube here you see you can kind of get on the high part but also fall
into the bottom of the hopper as well.
It's not perfect but that just means that you have more room to shove all those chickens in.
And then once you do that you can possibly grab a chicken here, shove one in just to
test, and see that if they're shoved perfectly into the center, that's actually all the height
you need.
I'm gonna try to do that- How high- How low can I make it?
I prefer not to have his head poking out.
Although, I didn't do a great job with it here.
But as you can see, this is like the most minimal one you could make.
And if we make a little- Don't make the window too big, because one issue I had that requires
this glass is as you can see the little baby chickens- they jump up on the glass.
I don't know if that means when they're grown they'll fall out, but this is probably the
simplest kind of build you could do here, This is a true Egg Tube.
We're already getting eggs here, so it is working.
Let's just see if a Capturing Wand works.
One interesting thing about the Capturing Wand is if you do it just right, it actually
seems like the chickens- you don't need to take the lid off here.
The chickens just get thrown right in there.
So with this one it looks like you have to click on the hopper itself, but I mean, this
is already an improvement to the Egg Tube.
Of course, if you don't like seeing all the chickens heads poking out, you could always
make this a little wider.
I just tried to make this as small as possible.
And actually, I am kind of liking this design of the Egg Tube, so uhh- Call now and for
no extra cost you'll get an Egg Tube Mini in addition to your Egg Tube!
Now uhh, the Egg Tube Mini is exactly the same, just smaller!
Clearing out that sandstorm, I wonder here if they can even get out with this roof on
their head.
Nooo, they cannot.
Keep in mind that with this method I assume smaller- smaller little chicks can get out.
I'm sure they could jump out pretty easily, although it doesn't seem like it.
Wow!
So, while it- might not look as cool, although that is a matter of opinion, if you're going
for the smallest chicken farm possible then you can always put a roof on it like that
instead of going for the whole tube design thing.
So I think that's about it.
Thanks for watching this ridiculous video, and if you want more like it or even something
different, remember to leave your feedback in the comments.
Bye!
