How to perform the exercise.

Stand on a box or other firm surface, like a bench or step, and step up and down on it as if it were a staircase.

Bring one of your knees up to your chest, hold it for 2 seconds, and then descend until you touch the floor with both feet.

Repeat the exercise with the other knee.

Perform 15 repetitions of 3 sets. Lunges.

Stand up straight with your legs apart at shoulders width, and your knees slightly bent.

Stretch your arms out in front of you, and lower your buttocks as if to sit in a chair.

Hold this position for a few seconds, then return to the initial position gently.

As you lower your buttocks, be sure to keep your knees at a right angle; they should not stretch further than the tip of your feet.

Perform 3 sets of 12 to 15 repetitions.

Netflix will be offering a host of new exciting originals this year, including Altered Carbon.

The Netflix must-see list this year is building up, with the streaming service dropping new movies, fan-favourite TV shows and some much-anticipated originals.

Altered Carbon is a dystopian sci-fi series which is set to be big, loud and violent.

The futuristic offering from Netflix will look at themes like murder, love, sex and betrayal.

When does it come out? Altered Carbon will be coming to Netflix in February, and is likely to be the biggest arrival of the month.

The first season will be dropped on February 2, 2018.

Netflix's new original series will have ten episodes.

What is Altered Carbon? The new Netflix original is based on the "cyberpunk noir" novel by Richard K Morgan from 2002.

Set 300 years in the future, the new universe sees technology which allows human consciousness to be digitised.

This means humans can live forever by jumping into new bodies, called sleeves.

Most people have cortical stacks embedded in their spines which store their memories.

If their body died this can be transferred to a different sleeve.

The sci-fi TV series takes on the same premise, allowing human consciousness to be "re-sleeved" into new bodies.

Altered Carbon is centred around an elite, interstellar soldier called Takeshi Kovacs.

He is the lone survivor of a group of warriors after they were defeated in an uprising against the new world order.

His consciousness has been brought back to life after 250 years imprisoned on ice – a virtual punishment – and placed in the body of a US soldier.

Takeshi Kovacs has been brought back to life by a wealthy aristocrat, or a "Meth".

A Meth is slang for the rich people who have cheated death by switching bodies.

The Meth, Laurens Bancroft makes Takeshi an offer he can't refuse – if he helps Bancroft solve his own murder he will be awarded with a lot of money and to be excused for his prior crimes.

If he refuses he will be sent back on ice for another couple of centuries.

The show's creator Laeta Kalogridis told Entertainment Weekly: "It's very different than what else is out in this space.

There's some Philip K.

Dick in there, William Gibson, obviously Ridley Scott, and actually some Orson Welles and John Huston.

"We tried to imagine what a potential globalised future on earth would look like, with a certain amount of technological familiarity and a very large degree of human familiarity." Detective Kristen Ortega is one of the main characters who was originally working on Bancroft's case, and is portrayed by Mexican actress Martha Higareda.

Broadway star Renee Elise Goldsberry has exited her role in Hamilton to join the cast of Altered Carbon.

The actress known for TV roles such as The Good Wife and One Life to Live will play Quellcrist Falconer, a revolutionary and leader of the rebellion.

Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) plays Takeshi's sister Reileen Kawahara.

Other names include Chris Conner, Hiro Kanagawa, Alika Autran and Teach Grant.
