January Plan With Me | Plum Paper Planner - Duration: 6:49.

hey guys it's Danielle and here is a little January plan with me in my plum

paper planner hope you enjoy they have this really cool feature of three goals

every month and I hope to use this more this year I did a little bit last year

but kind of gave up so that's kind of one of my resolutions to use this

because I think it's great to you know focus on three things each month so

these are my three goals I am doing a vegan challenge right now so I would

like to complete that goal number two is to focus on my yoga practice which is

pretty non-existent right now I would like to get a lot better at that so I

would like to do even a 10 minute yoga session at four times a week my third

goal is called James's special time I talked about that in one or two videos

so basically I just want to connect with James here's my son every night after

work for 15 minutes and obviously I spend more time with him than that but

just 15 minutes of pure connection I let him choose whatever he wants within

limits you know I can't cost him money most days and it can involve screen time

so sometimes we do artwork or read just let him kind of lead the direction and

we kind of chat and connect and a couple of birthdays this month I haven't done

any of that and then I'm having a little health issue nothing serious but I need

minor surgery this year and I would like to get the ball rolling on that there

some things I need to do before that can happen so I just wrote that here then

we'll move on to the next page I'm between tripods right now you guys so I

apologize for the slight shaking but I'm gonna try this for the first time this

month on this January page I'm gonna try to write an affirmation or a piece of

gratitude every single day so today is January 2nd and hopefully I will fill

this up to number 31 this is the month at a glance I don't use this too much

mainly because we don't do how much maybe but um Mandy at the kitchen wife

in her planner wrote what she actually eats for dinner every night after the

fact and I think I'm going to start to do that because I think that'll help

with meal planning to kind of look at you know what you actually ate kind of

get ideas what you liked what you haven't had in a while so I think I'm

gonna try that out and as you can see I did yesterday on the first this is where

I spend the most time my weekly spread for the first time this year I had them

type in my different section so the top one is appointments and I just write

those throughout the week and then my work to do list fitness house or

personal things like laundry things to do at home cooking stuff then my youtube

section and my journal and the last one is blank I'm not a sticker person but I

did put a couple this week and then this is my cleaning list for the week I'd

like to get back into a zone cleaning routine I'll show you what that is in a

seconds again these are kind of my to two of my goals for the month yoga four

times a week and James a special time I need to pick up to some contacts and

would like to get my Christmas thank yous out let me know what you guys do

thank yous and if you do are you done is it bad that I haven't started yet

this is something I'm trying out for the first time as well this is the end of

the month or this page is at the end of the month and I'm gonna keep track of

what I'm watching so so far I've been watching Real Housewives of New Jersey I

think I'm gonna start the crown let me know if you've seen the season two I

love to season one but for some reason I haven't been that excited about season

two so let me know how it is then I have a section for what I'm

reading products I'm loving that'll be good if I want to do like a favorites

video for you guys sometimes it's hard to remember what I'm learning about I

love to learn about random things and right now I'm interested in the lunar

phases and how it relates to kind of feminine energy and cycles I just think

it's fascinating when I'm up to the vegan challenge so far and then I

thought it'd be cool to keep track of what pop culture and news events that

come up this is at the end of the month as well this is where I'm gonna keep

track of zone or deep-cleaning that I was talking about I kind of right over

the heading so this week is zone 7 my office my home office so these are kind

of the deep cleaning things that done this week next week is laundry and

ketchup then we're to the kitchen I just happen to filled out the next two

sections yet for the month I would like to be more on top of this even if it

takes me two weeks to complete each one I'd like to do that I'll link another

video I have talking more in depth about some cleaning in the spinner I'll put

that in the eyes above then there's a shopping list and I think it's really

smart to try to start using that this year I didn't last year so these are

things that I really need and I'm just not ready to buy them yet or I haven't

made time but I don't want to forget and I'll just keep a list a running list of

this and check it off as I buy it so that is everything please give this

video a big thumbs up and subscribe if you like cleaning videos I do these at

least twice a month and I have an upcoming meal plan video using this

planner so look out for that have a wonderful day and I'll see you next time

bye guys

you

Best Russian Language Textbooks For Intermediate Students – Лучшие учебники РКИ - Duration: 9:10.

Hello everyone! Here we are again with amazing Anastasia Semina, the Russian language teacher

And we continue speaking about the Russian language textbooks

Last time we talked about the books for beginners, and today...

There will be books for level... A2-B1

approximately like that, more advanced students

don't forget that we'll be talking in Russian, and it will be really fast,

so you better go to the settings and use English subtitles

Here we go! Ok, let's start!

Now I want to tell you about the books that I use with my students

who are more advanced, level A2 and starting B1

I'll start with the textbook "Jili-byli"

which is a part 2 of the blue book "Jili-byli"

This one...

You can understand that they're from the same series

But this textbook I like more that the blue one,

because here they have very concrete and interesting subjects,

And a lot of materials to...

to discuss the new topic, to learn new vocabulary

to talk if it's a lesson in a group or with a teacher

For example, the first lesson is...

No, let's not pick the first one...

Let's pick the lesson "Family"

For example...

For example, if we open the second lesson, "Family"

here they give...

some text with a lot of useful vocabulary

of course there is grammar

I mean grammar exercises

And a lot of speaking exercises, where you can

discuss topics such as "should young people stay with parents?" or "is it normal when a woman works and a man stays at home with a baby?"

and so on

This textbooks also includes audio and a workbook

Oh finally! Show it! Show it and brag:)

Another textbook for more advanced levels,

pre-intermediate level

A2-B1

"Russian souvenir 2", second book for the "Russian souvenir 1"

Here is the more difficult material, more difficult texts

Now about bragging... Yes, show it!

The author of these books, Irina Mozelova...

We've been friends for more than a year, and I made an interview with her

where she was telling about her first textbook

And for the second textbook... She was making it with video materials

Each unit includes video materials

She offered to participate

She took 2 of my videos

from my channel

and made exercises based on them

for example, in this lesson she used...

she used a video that I made in my hometown

in Arkhangelsk

is it correct – "hometown"? Yes.

This video...

For example, on this page

Right here...

Beauty...

So, here she used my video from Arkhangelsk, my hometown

and I was asking people why they like the north, and why they like to live in Arkhangelsk

And she made an exercise based on this video

And another video from my channel she used

it's an interview with a chef from an Italian cafe

it's a very funny video

I recommend watching it

And the exercises are about this video

And the book in general is very bright

I don't know if you can see... I think yes

So, it's bright and well-structured

New vocabulary, new speaking patterns

New words...

My lord, I can't find the words...

When we have some patterns for speaking?

Useful phrases, something like that

They have new words, new speaking patterns

that are useful for daily...

for everyday life

Also there are lots of listening exercises, there's a CD with high quality audio

And again, I'm not tired of saying this

when the book is bright and colourful...

it's even nice to touch

Pure pleasure to work with it

There is a workbook too

But the way, the workbook is colourful too. Yes, the quality is amazing

And if you look into the workbook, there's not only grammar

but also texts and vocabulary

interesting tasks

And they have it on Amazon

Russian souvenir?

I know for sure that they sell it in the stores of Moscow and St. Petersburg

but also you can contact the author

Irina can send them too

I think I saw it on Amazon

so I guess you can order them there

And for even more advanced levels, not even A2

but B1-B2

I use the books by Stanislav Chernyshov "Poekhaly" 2.1 and 2.2

I like them because of the serious approach

The materials that are used in the lessons

What am I saying? What's wrong with me today?

Materials from this book are organised in the way to make students speak a lot

A lot of questions for discussions

and lots of them are controversial

I know that Stanislav likes these kinds of questions, to make students talk

Also they have audios

listening exercises

where a student listens and picks the answer

it's also bright

lots of pictures and illustrations

Grammar is presented very well

Visually well done

some points can be seen in different angles, and I understand that I like this method of explanation

For example, they give verbs in groups

Like verbs вставать, уставать, and they practice them

It's a nightmare for foreigners

And the second part, Poekhali 2

This one is even more serious

I don't know if they sell it on Amazon. I don't know either

I'm not sure

But you can buy them in Moscow and Petersburg

By the way, I remember that I saw a list...

May I have a look?

The list of stores where you can buy the book abroad

I guess it's not in this one

I guess they have information on the site

Maybe you can order it on Internet

So, this is a basic collection of textbooks

Like this...

Actually we've selected the best ones

There are much more textbooks

about the Russian language

here are some you should try

I guess we'll end in Russian too?

Thank you very much Nastya

for this little tour to the library...

of the Russian language student

I guess that's it. Be sure to subscribe to Nastya's channel. All the links you'll find below

Thanks! Bye-bye!

Dad Joke Battle | LockDown | You Laugh, You Lose - Duration: 8:55.

Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon?

Great food, no atmosphere.

Do I enjoy making courthouse puns?

Guilty!

How many apples grow on a tree?

All of them!

Why did the guy name his dogs Rolex and Timex?

Because they were watchdogs!

I just watched a program about beavers.

It was the best dam program I ever seen.

It's a dam.

With trees and beavers.

What's the difference between a poorly dressed man on a tricycle, and a well dressed man on a bicycle?

Attire.

Why did the coffee file a police report?

It got, mugged.

I sold my vacuum cleaner. It sucked!

Did you get a hair cut?

No, I got them all cut!

What do you call a man with no arms or legs, in the middle of the ocean?

Bob!

How do you find Will Smith in the snow?

You look for, Fresh Prints.

My kids want to invent a pencil with an eraser on each end, but I just don't see the point.

What's the difference between snowmen, and snow-women?

Snowballs!

My wife asked me to sync her phone, so I threw it into the ocean.

I don't know why she's mad at me.

Dad can you put my shoes on?

No! I don't think they'll fit me.

Why did the blind man fall into the well?

Because he couldn't see that well.

Why did the scarecrow win an award?

Because he was outstanding in his field.

Poop jokes aren't my favorite kind of jokes.

But they're a solid number 2.

Wanna hear a joke about construction?

I'm still working on it.

Dad can we have a sleepover?

Yes they can sleep over at their house.

What did the grape do when he got stepped on?

He let out a little whine!

What happens when a frog parks illegally?

It gets toad.

The shovel was a ground breaking invention.

What's the first thing that the taxi driver said to the wolf?

Where, wolf?

Dad can you put the cat out? -I didn't know it was on fire.

I've never gone to a gun range before. I decided to give it a shot.

To the man in the wheelchair that stole my camouflage jacket.

You can hide but you can't run.

I got hit in the head with a can of diet coke on Friday.

Don't worry, I'm not hurt. It was a soft drink.

The rotation of Earth really makes my day.

Meir Kay: How I Became a Hasidic YouTube Superstar - Duration: 3:03.

I grew up in Connecticut,

in an ultra-orthodox Jewish community.

So you can imagine the surprise to my parents

when I came back to them telling them

that I want to be an actor,

I want to get into the entertainment world.

They were a bit surprised.

(playful song)

So, my parents tried to sway me

to focus on the traditional route,

which all my friends were doing.

So after I turned 13 years old, my parents

sent me of to Yeshiva.

Yeshiva is a high school, pretty much.

A system where one will study to become a rabbi.

So there were no secular studies.

There wasn't any gym time or the arts,

which I would have loved, because I loved acting as a kid.

In a world of black and white,

I felt like I needed some more color.

I definitely had a hard time during that period in my life.

I fell into a bit of a sadness, into a depression.

I felt that I wasn't learning anything.

I wasn't growing.

I didn't feel like I was in the right place.

This was not the way I should be feeling.

And I know that it was something

I never wanted to feel again.

And didn't want other people to feel as well.

Those were some dark times.

But I'm grateful for those moments,

because it gave me the perspective

and changed my way of thinking

to know like okay, this is not where I want to be

this is not where I want to go.

I don't want other people to feel this way.

Let's get out of here and build a world

of positivity and happiness.

So the last chapter in the Yeshiva system,

you become ordained rabbis.

I went to Singapore for two years to rabbinical school

to study to become a rabbi.

It was an amazing experience

and after which most of my friends went back to the states,

where they would go on to the traditional life,

get a job, get married and have kids.

I was like I don't know if that's for me.

(laughs)

So instead of going back with my friends,

I decided to pack my bags, in one little backpack,

and travel Asia.

I learned so many things.

One of which I realized in conversation,

talking about what my plans were when I was

going to go back home.

I always brought up the idea of going back

and making videos and spreading positive messages

through videos, through that medium.

And then it suddenly dawned on me, realizing, like,

wait a second, I'm always talking about this

and why don't I just do this when I go back home.

So once I decided that I wanted to make videos

and this is what I wanted to do for now, I went full force.

I knew when someone watched my video,

I wanted them to smile, I wanted them to feel good.

So we filmed High Five New York and we posted it YouTube.

Next day I wake up, and in my inbox,

I have emails from different news outlets

asking me to come in to be interviewed.

And it seemed like the world was thirsty

for this type of content.

Video after video my community was growing.

The audience was growing as well.

And I was finding my voice.

I look back at the chapters in my life

and I see that throughout wherever I was,

wherever I found myself I was trying to be the most

authentic person that I can be.

So, like I always say, stay positive, be happy,

I'm Meir Kay, have a great day.

Renzo Gracie Online Academy - Lifestyle: Are you too old? - Bruno Fernandes - Duration: 2:26.

(easygoing music)

Hi there.

More important than adding years to our lives,

we are adding quality to those years.

So we have been able to do a lot more when we're old

than we used to.

(easygoing music)

First thing to consider, is what is old?

How we define what is old and what is not.

Our life expectancy has just been increasing

steadily over the years.

So, while a few years back a 50-year-old

was considered maybe too old,

today he isn't anymore.

And considering jiu-jitsu specifically

is just the perfect martial art for older people.

It's quite rare for you to see a wrestler

or a judo guy

continue to train when they get old

because those martial arts,

they're just too hard on your body.

We consider other sports that are even rougher,

like, say, American football.

You don't see a middle-aged man

gearing up to do a football game.

It's just not practical.

The chances of getting hurt are too high.

Jiu-jitsu, on the other hand, let's remember it's called also

the gentle art.

Of course, if you're trying to be the world champion,

it's not gonna be so gentle.

But if you want to have jiu-jitsu as an activity for you to

remain in shape,

maintain a good social life, have a hobby,

in other words, have all the benefits

that jiu-jitsu can bring you,

you can definitely adapt your practice to your age,

whatever that is.

So I encourage you to join jiu-jitsu

and start regardless of your age,

but adapting your practice to your condition.

And to finish, just a few specific tips.

Don't start too hard.

Don't train too often.

Give your body a chance to recover.

Be picky on who you train with.

Don't feel bad about saying no.

This is your practice, and you should be congratulated

just by showing up at the gym.

You don't need anymore to prove anything to anybody.

Alright? That was it, and see you tomorrow.

(easygoing music)

The Punisher (Season 1) - Review - Duration: 3:33.

this time around me watch The Punisher this is the fourth rendition of the

Punisher I know that because after Batman he's my second favorite

comic-book character yeah as you can see it's a very guys thing so I'm gonna do

less commenting and more listening I don't if that's true with the series

though but we'll get to that

when the first film was done by Dolph Lundgren

which was really bad in the 1980s it then did nothing until Thomas Jane did

the role which play the best one so far the third one was with Ray Stevenson was

in Rome and then also I think one season of Dexter good actor but didn't do much

of the character this time round is a series by Netflix with Jon Bernthal who

by the way was in The Walking Dead for the first few seasons until the Walking

Dead to me personally is completely dead

I stopped watching it I gave up on

Walking Dead it's absolute trash right now I'm just angry that do you ever feel

this way like you invest so much of your time on a series only to discover that

as you go along it gets worse and worse and you're like I just wasted so much

time

anyway so that's done and now back to Punisher; it's a good show I think the

first three episodes are maybe a little bit too slow for what it is supposed to be

like an action drama I think maybe they did that to attract more female audience

it wasn't just guns blazing in action and pandemonium look it's a good show my

only issue with it is for me it would be like if I don't ever watch it again I'm

not gonna crave for it or miss it if I do watch it though I would have an okay

time watching it I want its background music to me maybe not to you but for me

it's like fine I'll watch it but I don't find it as gripping as other shows on TV

but it's just okay for me well I think by end of episode 5 it was getting more

interesting could you could see the bit of a plot twist who the characters are

developing into and I'm assuming this is where more of the Stewart typical

Punisher character takes over items of his vendetta's for people of harmed

society and the first five episodes really weren't that sort of background

story him coming back from the war and also the emotional turmoil around him

and all the other characters who weren't in the film's before right so it's it's

a good show I'm hoping it gets better because it's been a little bit it's much

sterile but it just hasn't had that moment that gets you over the hurdle so

basically for example if you haven't seen taboo yet or Fargo those two they

come here for me and then Punisher somewhere here so tough one Fargo if you

haven't seen them definitely a must watch Punisher yeah I mean to me

Punisher that's it it's not the best version of a Punisher to me that's still

Thomas James film so if you've just watched something that's really heavy

like Versailles or something like that this is a great way just kind of chill

out space so it's not serious if you fall asleep ten minutes before the end

you're not gonna cry and complain but it's not bad it's to me six and a half

maybe borderline seven if it's a show that runs for eight seasons I'm not

gonna care if it just those two seasons or you just

yeah that's our review for Punisher

Buying in Bulk | Pantry Reset | Naturally Ella - Duration: 2:12.

Hi Everyone!

If you're just joining the pantry reset, be sure to check out the all videos in the

series or if you're all caught-up, welcome back!

Now that your pantry is well organized and you're ready to kick off the year in the

kitchen, it's time to stock your pantry.

There are SO many options to do this and I wanted to share how I source and a couple

options for shopping in bulk.

There are some companies doing some wonderful things with heirloom grains and legumes.

When I can, I like to source from local growers and reputable sources because I find the end

product is more flavorful and just more enjoyable to eat.

A few of my favorites include Elegant Bean, Rancho Gordo, Anson Mills, Lundberg Farms,

and Zursun Beans.

The list goes on and on.

I'll drop a list in the comment section so you can check out all my favorites.

Beyond sourcing from the farms, I also love the easy to find places like Bob's Red Mill

and Nuts.com.

Of course, my number one stop is my local Co-op and grocery stores.

Even many of the big-box grocery stores are carrying bulk items which makes it really

easy to find those pantry ingredients that you want to get for dinner that night.

If you're planning on shopping in bulk, I have a couple of recommendations for you.

My first is to pick up some cotton bags.

I have ones that come in three sizes and are wonderful for all the bulk items (and great

for produce too).

Best of all, they are easily washable and tuck right into your reusable bags.

Beyond that, you can also take your glass jars in.

They are a little more bulky but you already have them and if that's what you're storing

them in, it might just be easier.

Be sure to write the tare on it though, that way the cashier knows exactly how much to

deduct for the glass.

Finally, get to know your grocer.

Some stores cycle through bulk faster than others, which means some product is better

than others.

When you can, talk to the store manager and ask how often they cycle through things or

for items like nuts, ask for a taste.

It is really good to know how fresh it is when your buying.

Be sure to check back in for the next video in the series happy cooking!

their heads but I believe I need to see

all of them to go to the wall of death

to become the young I am the day I chose

[Music]

almost everything you do from the time

you get up in the morning is habit so

start to think about yourselves what

would be the best habits to have a

starting ritual is a repeated behavior

that you adopt in order to trigger a new

habit when you wake up in the morning

say thank you for grace

thank you for love thank you for

kindness thank you for prosperity say

thank you in advance for what's already

yours the secret of success is

determined by your daily agenda what you

want to be tomorrow you've got to do

today

[Music]

life goals yearly goals monthly goals

daily goals and understand

but to achieve these goals you must

apply discipline and consistency in

order to achieve your goals you must

apply discipline but you were already

done and consistency every day not just

one Tuesday and miss a few days you have

to work at it every day you have to plan

working really hard is what successful

people do your footprints to success are

really footprints of success because

every step that is made and taken

based upon the goals that you have for

your life every step is the progressive

realization of success in your life good

habits are hard to form and easy to live

with bad habits are easy to form but

hard to live with

so the rule is form good habits and make

them your masters habits come down to

one golden rule and that's this you can

never change the things that trigger you

you can't control your urges or how you

might feel but you can always choose how

you behave if you want to break a habit

once you have a habit it's always going

to be encoded in your brain the only way

that you can break it is to replace it

with new behavior this means when you go

to sleep at night think about your goals

for the coming day make a list for each

day of all the goals the little goals

you're going to accomplish that day keep

a journal and write down your goals on a

regular basis you see you do become what

you think about most of the time you do

achieve what you think about most of the

time so all successful people and all

wealthy people think about their goals

most of the time the things that get

scheduled are the things that get done

and vague goals lead to vague results

never noticed how hard it is to just get

started how hard it is to get to the gym

how hard it is to get out of bed you

need activation energy to start the

chain to start to sit down to start to

get out of bed to start to walk out the

door that's the key to creating any kind

of change this activation energy inside

of you that causes the initial goal and

then what do we hear over time once you

start there's a chain reaction and that

allows you to keep going Chuck this is

them is the ability to make yourself do

what you should do when you should do it

whether you feel like it or not you see

anybody can do it

if they feel like it's when you don't

feel like it and you do it anyway that

you eventually develop the

self-discipline that makes everything

else possible discipline is not

punishment it's not discipline is

training if you change your mind your

mindset and really focus it on what

discipline really is you start to

welcome discipline you welcome self

discipline into your life you're not

only gonna blow up the system in your

head and the tricks that your brain uses

to stop you right now you're going to

shake up your entire life discipline is

your best friend it will take care of

you like nothing else can

remember just because you're doing a lot

more doesn't mean you're getting a lot

more done

don't confuse movement with progress

when we do live in a world where there

is such a fascination with entertainment

you know and everyone loves pretty

pictures and it's really easy to spend

the best hour of your best days looking

at what your friends are doing and I'm

suggesting to you you think like a

student because you're watching this

mastery session because something deep

within you wants you to be the master of

your game and here's the thing about

every master every master thinks like a

beginner they're always learning

anything you want good you can have

so claim it work hard to get it don't

just aspire to make a living

aspire to make a difference make today

counts success or failure as a human

being is not a matter of luck or

circumstance or fate or the brakes or

who you know or any of the other

tiresome old myths and cliches by which

the ignorant tend to excuse themselves

it's a matter of following a

common-sense paradigm of rules

guidelines anyone can follow you have

something unique and amazing to offer

the world that nobody else can do it is

your job the purpose of your life is to

figure out who you are and the way that

you do that is you tune out you tune out

the world and you tune in here yeah

you've got a go read you got a go read

you got a watch up ton of videos you got

a tune into this show every week you've

got to explore you've got experience you

got to fail but then you've always got

to calibrate it against what are your

instincts saying what energizes you what

depletes you that's it's really that

simple follow the things that energize

you follow the things that you're

naturally curious about you are not only

unique I think it you're a bloody

miracle the fact that you were born who

you were born

the way you begin each day sets up the

way you live each day I mean the Spartan

warriors set it so well sweat more

training bleed lessen war and if you

want to be literally undefeatable in

business literally unstoppable in life

you really want to dial in your morning

routine and so you want to do things

like starting the day sweating because

that releases BDNF brain-derived

neurotrophic factor that repairs brain

cells from stress you want to sweat

because that's going to increase your

metabolic rate which is going to give

you energy and we live in a world where

energy is even more valuable than it

intelligence you want to in your morning

routine take the time to write in a

journal so you actually can detect your

values reconnect with your goals each

day because awareness is the beginning

of transformation Aristotle said you are

what you repeatedly do there for

excellence not be a habit not an act

don't ever forget that it's not what you

do once every year that is going to

allow you to live a legendary life it's

what you do every single day whatever

your goal or dream is my friend you need

other people to know about that dream

they should know what you're trying to

accomplish why you're trying to

accomplish how you're trying to

accomplish it when you're trying to

accomplish it and exactly what you are

willing to do to accomplish it one of

the things that we have to do as we're

pursuing our dreams and our goals is

that we have to know that failure is not

an option you know and you got to hear

this one this wasn't it this one is

important

because you've got to tell yourself

despite again the circumstances the

situations you have to tell yourself

there listen to me I'm not going

anywhere until I get to go I can't I'll

make my dreams become a reality I'm not

quitting I don't have much money after

invest okay how much time I have to

invest I'm gonna continue to do this

until I become successful the number one

thing that's gonna change your life the

only thing that will change your life

change your business change your money

change your relationship because you

must raise your standard we become our

standards in many ways if you are

surrounded by B players or average

performers and that is your standard

then your mindset will operate at the

standard that is that is offering to you

by the people around you I mean we do

become our social orbit has a list of

things they think they should do I

should lose weight I should work out I

should spend more time with my kids I

should work harder I should make more

calls I should I should I should I

should what changes people is when you

should

becomes a must when suddenly the thing

you said should happen has to happen

that's when you refuse change to have

the results of a game-changer you need

to start thinking and behaving like a

game changer and that means thinking

like a game changer populating your

mindset with the best books with the

best ideas with the best conversations

behaving in ways that most people don't

behave again you want to have the

results very few people have you've got

to start doing things that very few

people do turn off the television

delete the naysayers stop gossiping and

start producing eat better food run

longer runs shift from a focus on what's

not working to focus on what's working I

mean you really want to install a whole

new series of mind sets and a whole new

series of rituals that very few people

are doing

[Music]

every day we put in place actions and

ideas that will determine the shape and

substance of our tomorrow's

you will receive from the world who you

become with the doorway to success I

suggest to you swings inward not outward

and the best way to have a game-changing

life and the best way to have a

world-class lifestyle and the best way

to change the world is to change

yourself I mean we get from life who we

become nothing can change until we do

when we change our worlds will change

all of us in life have things we want we

don't get what we want

we get what we have to have when you're

no longer willing to tolerate something

that's when your life changes I just did

a podcast on habits right how to be able

to adopt new habits and also delete and

get rid of you know break bad habits

right and so a lot of people always want

to make it usually make a change on

behavior they want to get themselves to

workout they want to get them doesn't

meditate they want to get themselves to

read more each day and they want to get

themselves to X right or they want to

stop some behavior they want to stop

smoking they want to stop eating this

food they want to stop I always tell

people stop checking your phone the

first hour of the day I love and I and I

just

that's like sacred time for me you know

because I for me that's for I think that

if you want to be an elite mental

performer or you know real-life

superhero you don't want to start off by

checking the phone we talked about this

in the past because you're training

yourself to be reactive and right you're

getting your dopamine or you're frying

your nervous system with all these likes

shares comments and everything else like

that that you've said if I'm not

mistaken you sell your sovereignty weed

if you start by checking your phone I

love that so much because you're

reacting and firefighting to everyone's

like well I've been seeing everyone

would want so you're not really setting

you're not living you know that it's

you've heard this many times right if

you want to you win the first hour of

the day to win the rest they don't even

even with room in the day right and so

anything you want to stop so I say you

want to stop checking your phone right

in the morning then they're certain like

that's a behavior right but there's so

many other elements to be able to change

because some most behaviors don't stick

right and so like what I'm thinking

about when I want to transform or

transcend

or make a real positive change I'm

looking all the other areas of herself

so I'm looking at for example our

environment are you are people setting

up their environment to win at a social

change doesn't just happen at this level

of behavior but what you have to change

the environment so for example if you

want to stop eating a certain food it

helps to be able to have not that not

have that food in your home right so you

change the environment if you want to

read more it helps to help set up your

environment where you have the books

readily available where you're gonna

read it because they perform you know

how I how I approach habit change is

this area of motivation and this trigger

right you want to trigger to help and

remind you to do the behavior right so

are you setting up the environment in a

way that triggers the behavior that you

want that's why you know people like

Mark Zuckerberg or Tony Hsieh they wear

the same t-shirts and and sweatshirts

all the time because they don't want to

spend you know use up one of their

decisions thinking oh what am I gonna

wear today everyone someone's watching

this they have a thing that something

they want to change and it's not it's

not sticking then maybe it's not it's

the environment maybe you could check

about your habits but maybe it's your

beliefs in your values some people will

not get themselves to read every day

because they don't value reading every

single day right some people won't say

the behavior they want change is you

know we did a podcast and how to

remember names I could teach them step

by step on how to remember the name of

most people that they meet yet they

won't do it because they don't value it

or because that's not important to them

or they don't believe that they can

write just like we talked about earlier

saying your brain is like a

supercomputer and you know your

self-talk as a programmer run so if you

tell yourself not go to memory names you

will not remember the name the next

person you meet because you program your

super gonna be or not to they don't have

a belief that enables that so when I say

all behaviors belief driven if you want

to do this behavior whatever it is

journal whatever it is then you need a

belief that allows that to happen

because you mean that's the program that

allows it so how do you get that belief

because you're gonna feel like you're

faking it all right that's where most

people stop right they think okay I get

it I hear what Jim is saying that if I

am able to shift my belief then I can

get a different behavior but I don't

believe it so now I'm just sort of

faking it how do you help people

overcome it right and so you mean so

some people approach it by they know

that it's quote where they fake it so

they make it right um so my thing with

belief is like when I do trainings and

groups or online my favorite way of

changing the

belief is getting them to do something

they never thought they could do because

it opens up another possibility right so

so for example in 1954 Roger Bannister

he broke the four-minute mile right and

so which is amazing right throughout

human history nobody can run a mile less

than four minutes now if you if you look

into it how he was able to do it is he

would visualize himself crossing the

finish line looking at the clock and it

says 359 because he knew that success is

an inside out process that first it had

to happen in here in order for apt an

out there right um dr. Wayne Dyer has

the famous phrase where it's not

oh I'll believe it when I see it it's

like I'll see it I believe it because

it's the opposite right and so yeah I

always like modeling the outliers where

most people kind of just like kind of

dismissed them I was like well what's

what's going on there that loves this

person to get this kind of result right

and so with Roger Bannister he saw it in

here be able to produce it outside just

like any innovator or inventor or writer

any creator right but what was

interesting is after that would happen

nobody could do it from the beginning of

humanity all of a sudden one person does

it what happens after that everybody

yeah everyone starts doing it and so

that's the thing now what happened was

there a big change that year and you

know training methodology and nutrition

or no who's a change of belief right

because the belief back then was if you

ran a mile less than four minutes not

only would you die it was your heart

would explode in your chest and like

think about like that would and I'm a

runner right that would keep me not just

running that wouldn't keep me from

running for me that would keep me from

running period right right and so my

thing is like that was a change of a

reference I was just shook up a belief

so my goal with people and when it comes

to learning is get themselves to do

something they never thought they could

do and then it opens up another

possibility it literally opens up their

their nervous system for something what

else could be possible now I would also

say that it all plays together where

it's not easy to say just to change a

belief overnight now that could be a

belief because it's like a meta belief

about what beliefs are but people

there's there's technologies like

inception right like a dream of a dream

your dream but I do believe that we have

more we have more power to influence our

thoughts and our beliefs so my goal is

to streamline my

life put the routines the first hour day

and the last hour today I really

micromanage it's at a point where it's

pitch well I don't even have to think

about it and then because those are the

times a day where I can really have the

most impact because later on in the

middle of the day you know team members

need this there's firefighting this

client needs that but in the first hour

in the last hour I really want to

control so all this really helped

develop grit and resilience you know in

my body so I could have the ability to

persevere and I so I stand guard to my

brain all the time what goes in and I

don't watch like a lot of the negative

news and all the young market I really

focus like you know I I watch it I

listen to your show and maybe a handful

of little of things I read each day

because I need to keep it positive

I want hope and I'm looking for help I'm

looking for inspiration and also it's an

instruction

This Is The Only Thing You Need To Know - Satsang with Cesar - Duration: 9:24.

The people that can see the mind

they are already half enlightened.

Satsang is for the one who is already...

Really, read it in any book: semi realized.

They are already...

Something like "Listen, I am going crazy

what is this all about?"

No, you are not going crazy.

You are just about to recover your sanity.

"No, because of my mind!" Now they say, "my mind". See?

They don't say "myself" anymore.

The disassociation with the mind is [there]...

So what is the I thought? It's the ego.

Audience: it's the identification with the body. Cesar: Exactly.

So who is the seer?

"I". So apparently the body is looking at thoughts.

Who is the seer?

Exactly; "I".

"My mind", "I".

The "I" means body. Yes?

Then the body is an object, yes or no?

Like any object in the world.

This body is like this chair, no difference.

Audience: Sometimes I have these glimpses... Cesar: Wait, wait, try to understand something here.

Who is the subject? "I".

Who is the seer? "I".

Then, who is this "I"?

It disappears, right?

So the subject disappears.

This is no object neither.

But still, there is consciousness. Right?

Yes or no? Consciousness remains.

Body consciousness remains.

So if the body is not the seer

it's not the one that is conscious neither.

There is body consciousness.

And in this moment it may happen

that you realize that you are THAT which is conscious of the body...

...and the mind.

This is why the mind has to be still.

"I am the body" idea disappears.

So "I am the body" idea disappears

and the "I am consciousness" takes place.

But it's not a thought.

You just know it somehow.

You're conscious of the mind. Right?

When the mind is (sound) "bla bla bla ..."

and (sound) "truku truku truku..." The tourist guide:

"and this is this, and it's like this and like that."

Audience: Yes

It's telling you what is there. Nothing is there.

It's just thought. Thoughts are there. That's all.

And when thoughts disappear, what is there? and who is there?

The mind is both; ego. Is both, subject and object.

"I am telling you what is there",

Subject talking about an object. Right?

So both appear together and disappear together

When you see from where the ego is coming from.

You have to look for the place of origin. That's all.

As they arise, you'll may be taken for a ride,

you'll may be carried away for a while. A story. And at some point...[you realize]

And you say: from where do they come from?

You may have to ask the question at the beginning.

Eventually, you realize you don't even have to ask the question.

That you have to bring the attention there.

If you do it by the means of effort.

It's called practice.

Eventually it happens automatically.

Effortlessly.

And eventually the attention never goes away from the source.

Even if you are thinking.

Or physically active.

Even if you're listening to somebody talking,

You're conscious of what the person says,

but still you're conscious of being the Consciousness,

of being the Self.

And you have no idea what the other person is talking about.

Because it's basically nonsense.

You just go along with it, because...

Especially if it's your mom or your father: "yes mom".

Or your husband: "yes, love".

(Laughs)

If this is understood, that is enough.

If you bring the attention gently, kindly, softly, lovingly if you wish

from thoughts to its place of origin.

At the beginning, because we believe there is such thing as mind,

there is such thing as the ego, sorry.

I will try to keep it in this format.

And there is an ego that thinks,

but the ego cannot think

because the ego is a thought.

So when you look for the place of origin of the thought,

you don't find any thinker,

any ego that thinks.

You look for the ego,

the ego disappears, and what you find is the Source.

You look for the ego and you find the Self.

Mel Robbins: You Should Set Goals High ( Mel Robbins Motivation ) - Duration: 5:26.

I want you to start seeing something bigger I know you're all successful I'm

talking about something really big for your life And in order to do that you

have to answer this question what do you really want now I'm not talking about

something small I'm not talking about a little haiku I'm not talking about

renovating your kitchen I'm not talking about signing on 10 new customers this

month I'm talking about what you really want you know three years ago I was a

lawyer and a business coach working with private clients and big corporations all

over the country and I came to a seminar just like this one a big leadership

seminar and I went there with my husband we're both business owners and I went

because I wanted to be more successful and I went because I wanted to make even

more money than I already did and I was sitting exactly where you are in fact I

was sitting about you know 15 rows back right where that woman with the hand

everything like yet you yeah she's like hi it was sitting and I was taking notes

and I'm like okay I'm here to make more money and then all of a sudden she

walked on stage that is Martha Beck she writes a column for Oprah Winfrey she

travels around the country speaking she's a best-selling author and when she

walked on stage I literally stopped listening please keep listening to me

right now and it hits me I said I want to be doing

that I'm ready for a bigger state like that's it

and what's so interesting about when you answer that question is that you don't

answer it up here you answer it here that's how you see something bigger for

yourself you know you guys are really cute because everybody is like I don't

see it what do you I don't see anything for myself right I and now I'm just

confused I thought I knew what I wanted you know and now Ella I'm not really

sure and right now the economy is so bad I mean it's so bad that even if you're

successful I know sometimes I feel embarrassed talking about my success

around some of my friends because I know that they're really struggling and I get

calls every day into the radio show people saying oh I've got this great

idea but I just don't know if it's the right time and you know what I say to

them I say yeah you know you're right the recession it's it's huge you should

wait those dreams yeah put them on hold that's right yeah you you should you

should stay in that job you can't stand just a little bit long you get college

bills to pay I mean you know what you're doing it's fine you're busy right that

guy you're dating he's good enough for you but for the people in this room

baloney you know that's right you know exactly what you want and the only thing

that you need to do is to admit it now this may sound weird because I know most

of you came in here because you're like I know what I want I'm you're at success

it's try to figure it out I'm talking about something bigger much bigger I'll

admit to you what it is that I'm up to and the truth is it's embarrassing

because when you lock on to something way bigger than where you're at it is

downright embarrassing to tell people because you're not there yet but I mean

at this rate I've already admitted to you that I stalked Martha Beck and that

I brought a haiku to the best you know litlle

in the country so I got nothing to lose at this point so this is what I want

well not him I'm married I want what he's got I want six hundred radio

stations I want two million listeners and I could certainly deal with the four

hundred million dollar salary in fact if I got it I'd renovate everybody's

kitchen and you know the thing is though that's so interesting about this is that

I didn't pick him I mean I'm not looking to become a cigar smoking conservative

political guy that like stirs the pot makes everybody all mad

I'm the liberal lifestyle gal that's trying to help people out but what I

want to do is I want to use radio to entertain people and help them achieve

their dreams and when I really think about it he's the one that's in the

front I want to not only reach what he's doing I want to surpass him I mean do

you think I like it when my friends come over to my office in Boston at my house

and they're like what is that guy doing on your board no it's embarrassing when

you admit the big thing that you're up to it's embarrassing I have 40 stations

he's got 600 there's a big gap so admitting where you want to get to is

embarrassing but you got to do it
