Hello Friends!

Welcome to Fit Tuber.

This is a quick video wherein I want to talk about a small experiment that I did a few

days back with the very popular McDonald's french fries.

So I went to the nearest McDonald's outlet and bought their french fries.

Not to eat but to experiment with them.

I had read many articles which said that the McDonald's french fries are not the standard

french fries.

Standard as in, french fries are potatoes which are deep fried and then seasoned.

Apparently, that is not the case with the McDonald's french fries.

However, I wanted to find it out for myself and also wanted to share the results with you.

So I carried out a very simple experiment.

I brought them and I also brought a few potatoes so that I can make french fries at home.

I simply cut them, deep fried them and seasoned them with salt and red chili powder.

I added both the homemade french fries and the McDonald's french fries in two separate

glass jars and kept them untouched for 1 week.

What I saw after 1 week just shocked me.

The homemade french fries were fully covered with microorganisms.

They were not even visible.

I had to use a spoon to actually see them.

On the other hand, the McDonald's french fries had not at all decomposed.

There was a little moist air in the jar and that's all.

The McDonald's french fries looked visibly the same even after 1 week.

Isn't it disturbing?

The potatoes deep fried in oil should ideally start decomposing in a day or two.

So what's up with these McDonald's french fries.

No wonder when I researched on the internet, I found that McDonald's french fries have

over 18 ingredients.

And these are not the ingredients which we use in our daily life.

Most of these ingredients are, what should I say, "unethical".

These ingredients are added to the french fries to improve their texture, increase their

shelf life, enhance their flavor and what not.

Even, for a second, if we do not believe that all these ingredients are added to McDonald's

french fries, Science clearly proves that if microorganisms are not feeding on these

french fries there is definitely something fishy about them.

My idea of making this video was to help you understand that these big food giants add

ingredients under the umbrella of secret recipes which are not meant to be put in the human

body.

When you eat McDonald's french fries, those are not just potatoes deep fried in oil.

Unfortunately, there is much more to them.

My honest advice to you is that please don't get fooled by these big giants and make your

food choices consciously.

How harmful they can be, the results are in front of you.

Connection Series Day 5 - Duration: 3:14.

Are the stories and

the content that you are sharing

in your speeches and presentations

too long?

Now

you might be looking for length based on the amount of time you were given. If you have enough content for 30 minutes

and you need to give a 45 minute keynote perhaps, you're looking to extend.

But if you've done your research

and if you've hit all of the points the worst thing that you can do is add so much detail

to what you're sharing then it takes away from the message itself or the key learnings that

you're trying to convey to your audience.

So what could you do

to condense the details

within your stories or your content.

There are elements of dialog where you have multiple characters in your scene.

And you might set them up in a "he said then she said. He said then she said."

Perhaps instead of all of the back and forth of explaining who is saying what could you change

the perception of the speakers. If

someone is a little shorter, could you crunch down a little bit? If

you're speaking to a child

and you're an adult, could you just look down

so that the audience understands, I'm now speaking to the child and when the child speaking, they are speaking up to the other.

Just a little slight head movement could take away some of that "he said she said" element.

Think of it in terms of length of time of your story as well.

Are there elements of your story that go over a number of days or weeks?

Where you are explaining "on this week so-and-so happened and then on this week this happened."

Do you really need to explain it in terms of the weeks? Are they adding to the message itself?

Or could you just simply say "the next time I spoke to the person

Or the next time I interacted with person."

so that you don't have to explain the detail of every day of the week of what it is, that's happening in your story.

Do you have a speech in mind right now?

Do you have one in the back of your pocket that

just didn't hit the mark the last time?

What could you do to take that and condense it so that

it will resonate with your next audience,

and make that strong connection?

Maybe you've heard someone suggest that hanging garlic around your neck or door, is a good

way to scare away vampires and evil spirits.

This belief doesn't make a lot of sense, but there are some old home remedies involving

garlic that have survived until today, due to garlic's incredible health benefits.

Garlic was often used in the kitchen as a seasoning, but the Chinese also used it as

a medication.

According to Chinese traditions, some people put a clove of garlic in their mouth for 30

minutes, and suck on it like a hard candy.

It may seem a little weird, put it's a great alternative to eating garlic.

You don't necessarily have to eat it in order to benefit from its great properties, your

saliva will do all the work for you.

But what benefits does garlic have?

That's what we're going to show you in today's video.

Garlic can help our body in several ways, due to it's anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory

properties.

Garlic's main health benefits are:

- Prevents and removes plaque build up in arteries;

- Regulates blood sugar levels; - Regulates blood pressure in cases of hypertension;

- Protects against cancer; - Stimulates the immune system;

- Controls appetite; - Prevents kidney stones;

- Relieves flu and cold symptoms.

It's really simple, here's what you do:

Choose a garlic clove and peel it.

Put the clove in your mouth without chewing it.

Keep it in your mouth for 30 minutes, as if it were a hard candy.

After the time is up, spit out the garlic and brush your teeth to get rid of the smell.

If the smell doesn't go away, chew some coffee beans or parsley leaves.

Selfishness can be very dangerous to our society, but sometimes being selfish is necessary and

can even help people a lot.

When kind people help others, they often forget to take care of themselves, and this could

be very harmful to their health.

No matter how much these people want to help, when they lose control, it's hard to fill

their empty space, and this could cause traumatic experiences.

Helping others is great, but everything in our lives must be balanced.

One of the security measures demonstrated during airplane flights illustrates this very

well.

If the cabin loses pressure, we should put on our masks before helping children.

At first sight, this may seem selfish, but it makes sense.

Kids need help because they can't reach the mask's storage compartments, but since they

are younger, they are more resistant, and can wait a little longer than adults can.

This is the kind of selfishness that should be practiced.

Sometimes all we need to do is take care of ourselves instead of helping others, because

depending on how we are feeling, we attract different kinds of energy.

This is why self love is so important.

When we take care of ourselves we attract good things and are able to give the best

of us to the world.

Here are 5 simple habits that will help you improve your self love and learn to give off

good energy to everyone around you:

• Meditate

Starting off your day with meditation is an excellent way to keep your balance throughout

the rest of the day.

It doesn't take that much time, and it helps you clear your mind.

• Get a good night's sleep

Sleeping is like recharging your batteries, and all of us need to be charged to function

properly, so try to avoid losing sleep.

Rest as much as you can.

Remember that people's sleep cycles differ, so in order to improve the quality of your

sleep, you must understand your own.

• Take advantage of the outdoors

Our busy, everyday life makes it hard to enjoy what Mother Nature gave us, but we must try

to spend some time outdoors.

During your lunch break at work, or even on your commute, no matter how much time you

spend, you'll see how much it will improve your mood.

• Prepare your mind

With work, school, exercise, shopping, etc, we may become confused and stunned at our

constant changes in scenery.

So it's important for you to give yourself some time between each activity to prepare

your mind for what's next.

It doesn't have to be a lot of time, just a few minutes to ready your brain for the

next activity.

• Be grateful

Sometimes we feel discouraged because it seems like nothing is happening in our lives, when

we really just haven't taken the time to notice the progress we've already made.

We spend so much time looking forward that we never stop to be thankful for everything

we've achieved.

So try to remember everything that has brought you to where you are right now, and that will

give you courage to face the future.

Taking care of your self is an act of self love and will never be as destructive as pure

selfishness, so don't be scared.

Planks.

The plank is a very popular exercise that puts the muscles of the entire body to work.

Its recommended in order to activate your metabolism while strengthening your abdomen, glutes and lower back.

Instructions.

Face down on a yoga type mat, support yourself on your forearms and tips of your toes.

Be sure to keep your body straight without bending at the hips and with your stomach tight.

You will feel tension in the abdominal wall to support the position for a few seconds.

At first, sustain this position for 20 seconds, increasing up to 45.

Obliques.

Using weights with obliques helps to burn calories and is a good option to remove inches from the stomach and waist.

Directions.

Sit forming a V with the upper part of your torso and your legs crossed and elevated.

Hold a 5-pound weight with two hands at the level of your chest.

Move back and forth from left to right.

Do 3 sets of 10 repetitions.

Wheel exercises.

If you use a wheel or roller for exercising, this activity is perfect for working the abdominal muscles.

Its not only useful for training, but also has wonderful benefits to strengthen the muscles in this area of the body.

Directions.

Using a mat, support yourself on the knees and tightly grab both sides of the wheel.

Lower your body to the place where you can push the wheel forward and  pull yourself back to the initial position where you started with a slow movement.

Do 3 sets of these 20 times.

Bridge with elevated legs.

The bridge is an exercise that benefits your abdominal zone as much as it benefits your glutes and hips.

 In this case, we suggest doing this combined with elevating your legs to increase the intensity.

Directions.

Lie down on your back with your left knee flexed, your left foot supported on the floor and your right leg extending toward the ceiling.

Keep your arms by your ribs and elevate your pelvis for 10 seconds.

Rest, switch legs and complete 10 or 12 times with each leg.

Lower abdominals.

The lower abdominals tend to be a more problematic area to work.

 This is because this is where the most fat tends to accumulate.

This exercise, known as the guillotine, focuses on this area.

 Even though its a little complex, it serves to reduce inches.

Directions.

Raise both legs, forming a 90-degree angle to the floor.

Then, lower your legs without allowing your feet to touch the floor.

Pause briefly (4 or 5 seconds) and raise again.

Do 4 sets of 10 to 15 repetitions.

Knees to the chest.

This type of exercise is ideal to fight excess fat, since besides focusing on the stomach, it also serves to activate the cardiovascular system.

Directions.

Face down, support yourself over the forearms and on the tips of your toes.

Be sure to keep your back straight and abdomen tight.

Bring one of your knees up to your chest, return to the initial position and repeat this movement with the other leg.

Continue these movements, alternating with both legs, as fast as possible.

Do this 30 or 40 times.
