this means they have a slower metabolism and burn fewer calories at rest having a

slow metabolism comes with several health risks it may leave you tired and

URGENT: New MBTI Test - Duration: 3:50.

What's up people I'm gonna give you two math quizzes

So which test do you think did the best job of assessing your ability to do math

The second one right does it actually test your ability to do mathematics to solve equations

To these math to achieve the goal so what I'm trying to do is I'm trying to create a test

That assesses your ability to use the cognitive functions instead of math you

Like the first test I showed you

How well you think he used a cognitive function is how often you believe you used two cognitive functions?

That's what project Arkansas is all about

I'm trying to make this test that actually assesses your ability to use the cognitive functions and in order to do it

I need your help

So because I'm an infj and I only use four of the cognitive functions. Just like everyone else regardless of my type

I only use four of the cognitive functions myself, so what I need you to do is

tell me how I can best test a

Person's ability to use the for filing of functions that I don't personally use

If you're a 9 of feet and use the for cognitive functions that I do not use where if you're an ENFP

Please tell me how I can best

How I can best

test for those functions if you

Regardless of whatever whatever function you're knowledgeable about please comment below

Tell me how I can best test for these functions so for example a test the test

That will be coming out very soon for introverted sensing

Will put pictures up on the screen that will tell you that will ask you ok?

Remember as many details about this picture as you can

And then after 10 seconds it's going to disappear and you're going to have to

Recall as many details about that picture as you can that would be a test for introverted sensing for example

So please comment down below

Tell me how I can best test for the other cognitive functions so that so that product so that project Arkansas can

Move forward and do a lot of good for the MBTI community so project Arkansas is all about creating a test for the in DTI

Community that actually tests your ability to use the cognitive functions

I would really like it if you would be able to

Comment down below or go to Twitter or go to Instagram and let me know how I can best

Design these tests actually test your ability to use the cognitive functions

I hope this is going to be a good thing for me for the NBI community community

I hope that this will help a lot of people find their true

type and I hope it will provide a lot of clarity for the

MBTI community in regards to what the cognitive functions are and how the individual uses them in their everyday life

So please go on Twitter Instagram

Comment down below wherever you're seeing this video

Please tell me how I can best test for these cognitive functions Evan is dead

Lesson 77 Learn English - Working at a Hospital - Phrasal Verbs with "To Look" and "To See" - Duration: 4:10.

Session 77: Working at a Hospital

Sophie and John are a nurse and a doctor, respectively, at the same hospital.

They started their internship together and got together almost immediately.

After being together for five years, they finally decided to get a mortgage

and moved into a lovely house in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood.

Last year, they were able to combine a housewarming party with that of New Years.

The party was a great success and everyone had a wonderful time,

they were looking forward to having another one.

However, it was not possible to host another party, this year, as they are both on-call at the hospital.

The Christmas season and New Years can be quite busy, and there is often a lot of people to see to.

People drink and are not on their best behaviour, the kitchen is working overtime,

with the oven, the hobs, microwaves, and other electrical equipment being used,

all at the same time, to prepare the delicious festive meal.

Families gather together, occupying homes to capacity,

and with the excitement and spirits of the festive season, people can let down their guard.

Sophie and John both have their work cut out for them, and look after many patients.

A young lady comes in with some serious burns.

This is a very common accident to see during this time of year.

Boiling vegetables, making gravy, steaming food, and oven baking are all opportunities

for people to burn themselves if they do not take precautions.

Trying to keep others out of the kitchen, avoiding alcohol while cooking, and wiping up spills,

are all steps we can take to preventing accidents in this potentially dangerous environment.

Another patient managed to take a tumble down the stairs and broke his arm.

A guest at a friends house, he was on his way to the bathroom,

when he tripped on a toy car belonging to his friend's child.

By leaving a light on and avoiding leaving clutter after a day of opening presents

is an effective way to reduce such occurrences.

As pretty as they are, Christmas tree lights can create an accident risk if they are not checked properly.

Shocks, burns, and even fires can occur should the lights be faulty.

Regularly checking them and purchasing new lights rather

than using the same ones year after year, can protect the safety of you and your family.

One poor victim came in with a terrible bout of food poisoning.

Having been looking forward to a roast dinner of turkey, roast potatoes, and sprouts,

he was dismayed to find, a day later, his stomach seizing up and he was constantly vomiting.

The day after, his situation had not improved, and so he decided it best that he take a visit to the hospital.

Of course, excessive drinking during the festive season is one of the biggest causes of accidents,

sometimes, unfortunately with fatalistic results.

One of the major contributing factors is people's insistence

on driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.

Judgement is impaired and confidence is increased,

slowing reaction time and decreasing risk awareness.

More so during the winter should caution be exercised, as roads can be wet and icy.

The answer to this, simply don't! Do not drive your car to a party.

If you decide to have a drink, give your car keys to someone who is responsible.

Sophie and John certainly have their work cut out for them this year,

but they do their job to the best of their ability and manage to help many people.

By the end of their shift they are completely exhausted and cannot wait to go home to bed.

They decide to have a party next week at their lovely home and invite all their friends.

Their experiences this evening have given them plenty to consider when they have their house party.

Uni-edit Academic English Writing Tip | How do you use semicolons correctly in a list? - Duration: 2:48.

Greetings, everyone! This is Emily from uni-edit answering today's question, "how do

you use semicolons correctly in a list?" This video will be about three minutes

long. Frequently, your research reports will include long lists of complex items.

Sometimes using only commas is insufficient to offset the items. Let's

take a look at an example. You'll notice we have marked this sentence: incorrect.

We had four professors on our committee: Harry Plotter comma Professor of

Mathematics comma Huckleberry Flynn comma Professor of English comma

MariAnne Monroe comma Professor of Education comma and Chuck Morris comma

Professor of Nursing. Again, this sentence is incorrect. You'll notice on the left

we have the incorrect sentence that we just looked at, and on the right a

corrected version. We had four professors on our committee Harry Plotter comma

Professor of Mathematics semicolon Huckleberry Flynn comma Professor of

English semicolon MariAnne Monroe comma Professor of

Education semicolon and Chuck Morris comma Professor of Nursing. Taking this

knowledge, let's see if you can figure out the correct sentence on this slide. A

or B, which is correct?

B is incorrect meaning A is the correct answer.

If you said A is correct, the participants in the first group scored

70 points semicolon the second comma 60 semicolon and the third comma 40, you

were correct. Great job! As you can tell a semicolon serves a purpose in your

academic writing more than an informal purpose like to create a winky face as you

can see in this simple diagram. Once again, this is Emily from uni-edit.

Have a wonderful day.

How to create a Clipping mask in Photoshop (Lesson 30) - Duration: 5:57.

Hello viewers!

I am Rakib.

In the previous lesson you have learned how to layer mask in Photoshop and in this lesson

you are gonna be learning how to create a clipping mask in Photoshop.

So in this photo frame we want to insert a photo and to do that we are gonna be using

Clipping mask.

So let's insert an image,

drag and drop it here and we will hold shift and drag from the corner to increase it.

Let's place it here.

Now we have to make selection of this area. To do that we will select this layer and

we will select the Magic wand tool to make the selection,

we will click here, and that's it.

So we will press Ctrl + J to create a layer using that selection.

Here it is and now we will right click on this layer and select the Create clipping mask,

this is it.

The layer is clipped here.

Now you can change the position of this clipping mask.

And any time you want you can right click and select the Release clipping mask

to release the clipping mask and

that's how you can create a Clipping mask within an image

or within a selected area.

Let's see how to do it on a text.

So here is another image, we are gonna create a text here first.

Let's select the Type tool and type Clipping mask and place it here.

So now we have to bring the image, we will drag and drop it here,

we will fix the position and then we will press Enter

and let's use the Keyboard shortcut to do it.

We will press Ctrl + Alt + G from the keyboard and it is done.

So you can again press Ctrl + Alt + G to release the Clipping the mask like this

and let's do it again.

So the best thing is you can, when you apply it to text you can edit it, you can

select the type tool and change the text

and it will still maintain the Clipping mask.

We can also change the positioning of the image which is inside.

So if you have learned my previous lesson then you may think

what would happen if I use the Layer mask instead of the Clipping mask.

Let's distinguish these Clipping mask and Layer mask.

Hold Alt and hover over this line and when you see this symbol then you can click here

to release the Clipping mask.

This is another way of Clipping or releasing any layer.

And now we will hold Ctrl and click here to make the selection

and we will click here to create the layer mask.

In this case, the positive thing of using a layer mask is:

You don't need this text anymore cause it is independent

and the negative thing is: This is not an editable text.

So you can't edit this text anymore.

This is just a selection which is converted to layer mask.

If you try to change the position of the image inside like before

then you see you are moving the entire image.

To do that now you have to unlink this from here

and then you can change the position of this image inside

and then it's a good practice to link it again.

This is a negative thing using a layer mask instead of a Clipping mask.

So this is the basic difference between the Clipping mask and Layer mask.

One more thing about the Clipping mask is: These Clipping masks

are not only applicable to this kind of images,

you can also apply Clipping masks for any adjustment layers as well.

Let's create an adjustment layer from here.

Let's select 'Invert'.

So that's the Invert effect.

So if I again hold Alt and hover over this line and click here and clip it to the text

then you can see now we are using the Clipping mask for an adjustment layer which is here.

So that's all for this lesson and with this lesson we have completed Chapter-4.

From the next lesson we will start Chapter-5 which is about Image adjustments

and in that chapter I will discuss more about these kind of adjustment layers.

So you can subscribe to this channel to stay connected.

Thanks for watching this lesson, hope to see you in the next chapter.

Lesson 79 Learn English - Party Time - Reported Speech - Duration: 3:18.

Session 79 - Party Time. Sophie's and John's party is in full swing and everyone is

enjoying themselves. The drinks are flowing freely and the buffet, that the

couple spent hours slaving over, it is going down very well, especially the

vol-au-vents. Sophie and Julia have found themselves a little corner of the

kitchen to gather together and catch up with each other's news. I'm surprised I

never caught that horrid flu that you had. We had so many people come to the

hospital sick as dogs. Well it was pretty awful. I've never felt so bad in my life.

On the plus side, if you hadn't postponed your party, there was no way we could

have made it. John said there was no way we weren't having a party. He loves all

this hosting. I think he likes showing off a bit, especially with the house at

all. He's like a big child at times, what with all his boys toys. I had to buy him

a Scalectrix for Christmas, he wouldn't shut up about the thing. I don't

think he's finished yet. I heard him talking to Paul about it. I'm sure

they've gone upstairs to have a play of it. That wouldn't surprise me at all.

He said he wanted to clear out the attic so he can set up a giant race track. What

am I going to do with him? I say that you have to let him get on with it. It'll be

your trump card when you want to get that patio. He won't be able to say no

when you suggest that gazebo too. That's a good point. It's his birthday

next month so that'll be an easy present to buy. When were you looking to

start work on the patio? I was thinking in March. That way I can plant some nice

flowers and it'll be ready before the summer. I'm sure it'll look great. The house

is beautiful, by the way. You did well to get it so cheap. I know.

Our agent is brilliant. We invited him to the party but he couldn't make it. I wish

you could have met him. I think you'd have liked him. Still, if you decide to

invest in some property I will put you in touch with him. Oh, I don't think

that'll be for a while. I have some boxes to tick with regards to traveling that I

really want to get out of the way before I commit to a mortgage. Me and Steph have

booked a couple of weeks in the Maldives in August. We're just finishing

paying that off. Very nice! I suggested the Maldives to John, but he

said he wanted to go where the people were, Rome or the like. We ended up going to

the South of France, which was beautiful. No holidays for us for a while now though.

I'm sure, but you have a beautiful house. You'll have this for life. Sophie and

Julia chatted for a bit longer before returning to the party. Steph was being

chatted up by one of John's and Sophie's co-workers whilst John himself had

disappeared with several of the guests, likely playing the boy racer on his Scalectrix.

The girls clinked their glasses of wine together and smiled on

at everyone enjoying themselves. Another successful party!

Monaco Grand Prix™ - Where should you stay? - Duration: 2:47.

The majority of visitors to the Monaco Grand Prix will choose to stay in either

Nice or in Monaco and for many the deciding factor will be price. Both Nice

and Monaco have a selection of three, four and five-star hotels but expect to

pay between 1,500 to 2,000 pounds per night for a hotel in Monaco. Many hotels

in both locations will also impose a three or a four night minimum stay

requirement over the Formula One weekend. Nice is a 20 minute direct train

journey from Monaco and also has the closest International Airport. Couple

this with an abundance of hotels of all standards and a lively nightlife and you

can soon start to understand why staying in Nice is the popular option for many

Grand Prix fans. Avenue Jean Médecin is the main street that runs from Nice Ville

Station down towards the Promenade des Anglais. Stay in one of the many hotels

on the side streets that run off Avenue Jean Médecin and you should find

yourself no more than a 20 to 30 minute walk from Nice Ville Station. Staying in

one of the hotels on the Promenade des Anglais will take slightly longer but

trams do run along Avenue Jean Médecin in the direction of Nice Ville Station.

Staying in Monaco on race weekend does have its advantages, but there are a

few things you should consider before booking a hotel. Monaco is of course a

street circuit which means many of the roads can be closed from around 6 a.m.

until the final on track action is over. This can cause lengthy diversions if you

choose a hotel that isn't located close to your vantage point.

As a general rule the Fairmont Monte Carlo, the Novotel, the Port Palace Hotel,

the Hermitage, the Metropole and Hotel de Paris are all located centrally and

should allow easy access to most harbor area grandstands and apartments. Le

Méridien Beach Plaza and the Monte Carlo Bay hotels are located a little further

out and on the opposite side of the circuit to the harbour area grandstands

and the Ermanno Palace Apartments. If you're planning to spend the weekend

watching from one of the luxury super yachts it's likely you'll be required to

take a speedboat transfer from Fontvieille Harbour. You may find the Columbus Hotel

is closer to your meeting point but some walking may still be required.

Do My Own Lawn Care - Liquid v. Granular Pre Emergents - ep.41 - Duration: 5:54.

Yup!

Still dormant.

I mean, I guess I shouldn't complain too much because I can at least see my dormant grass.

A comment on our last video, someone had said that they are still buried under inches of

snow and I'm sure they would give anything to be able to see their dormant lawn.

So, my heart goes out to all of you up north still buried under the devils dandruff, other

wise known as snow.

And real quick, just wanted to show you the difference between a yard that has been treated

with a pre emergent in the fall and spring versus a yard that has not.

You can see the weeds starting to pop up because we've had some unusually warm weather and

these seeds are starting to kind of freak out and think it's time!

Time to sprout up.

But you can see because they haven't treated with a pre emergent this is the problem that

they've got going on.

And my yard use to look like this before I started putting down my pre emergents and

tackling my weed problems and all of that kind of stuff.

But now because I've got that protective barrier, I've inhibited or prevented a lot of weeds

from sprouting up and causing a problem.

And because we're in that time of the year to get the pre emergents and get them put

down in our yard, customer service staff is getting a lot of great questions when it comes

to pre emergents, and one of those questions is what is better, liquid or granular.

So let's talk about that.

Let's dive into the debate of which is better, a liquid or a granule pre emergent for the

yard.

Now, there are pros and cons to each and that's what I want to try and cover in this video.

So first up, let's talk about the pros and cons of a granular pre emergent.

With a granular pre emergent, they're easier to put down.

There's no mixing involved and really, there's kind of no measuring involved either.

Now I say there's no measuring involved but you still have to do a little bit of math

and figure out how much you need to put down in your yard, but really that's about it.

With most granules, it will tell you right there on the bag the amount of square footage

that it covers, so it kind of takes the guess work out for ya.

You just empty the bag into your spreader, calibrate it, and get to walking.

That's really all there is to it.

So in that regards, it saves you more time versus a liquid.

And granules are a great option if you have a smaller lawn.

No for the cons, with granules, it's hard to get an even application in the yard and

not miss any spots.

One of the biggest areas you've got to keep in mind, is along side walks and drive ways.

This is where they tend to break down the most.

And the reason for that is, this is where water runs off and collects, it's also where

your edging, which breaks down the soil where that protective barrier that pre em offers

should be, thus breaking down that barrier, and the heat from the concrete can break it

down even faster.

So keep that in mind when choosing between a liquid and a granular.

You want to make sure that your getting a nice even application along your sidewalk

and your driveway, or any areas that you have concrete meeting turf.

With a granular you have to almost water it in immediately.

It won't start to take affect until you do.

And even after you've watered it in, it's going to take some time for those granules

to break down, get into the soil and start to go to work on those seeds that are trying

to germinate and prevent them from sprouting up.

So now let's switch over to liquids and talk about the pros and cons there.

Pros, with a liquid, you can get a more even application over the entire lawn.

You have more control, you can be more precise.

Also with a liquid, you tend to use a lot less product.

So, in that regards, it tends to be a lot cheaper.

You can take a liquid a lot further than you can with a granular.

Liquids are going to take less space.

They're condensed in a bottle that you can put up on a shelf or in a storage cabinet.

Now on to the cons of using liquid pre emergents.

One down side to a liquid is you have to actually measure it out, in a tank, with some water,

agitate it, mix it all up, and then spray it out versus the granular again that you

simply just empty the bag in a spreader and get to walking.

But really we're only talking about a few extra minutes, so it's really not that big

of a deal.

And this tends to hold a lot of people back because they have the fear that they're gonna

either over mix or under mix the product.

Hey, I get it!

It's understandable but if you just read the label, you wear your ppe, you take your time,

you should be fine!

And our amazingly awesome customer service staff can help you out with that if that's

what's holding you back.

They can help you figure out those mix rates, tell you how to do it.

They'll walk you through the whole process.

They're awesome.

High five to them!

And with a liquid, you have to keep something in mind on a day like today when it's windy,

and that's drift.

We recommend and try to avoid drift at all possible to be safe and responsible.

The last thing that we want to happen, is we're spraying out our liquid pre emergent,

a gust of wind comes through, it drifts off into an area that maybe we've over seeded

in, or we've just put down some seeds of a plant that we're trying to grow, and it gets

into the soil and prevents those seeds from germinating.

So I hope throwing all these pros and cons of both liquid and granular pre emergents

has helped you out.

It's helping you make a decision.

But I'm curious, what are some other pros and cons that maybe I missed or didn't touch

on in this video, sound off in the comments below, let us know!

And like I say in every video, if you have any other further questions on this topic

leave those in the comments section below as well, you can email them over to our customer

service staff or pick up the phone, give them a call.
