God's Message to Our Enemies March 1, 2018

Lord, you are faithful, no matter what the plot against us.

You have the beginning and the end in Your Mighty Hand, Jesus.

And we can count on You to deliver us from our enemies.

May you be Glorified.

Well, my dear Heartdwellers, as the last message explained, we have been extending hospitality

to a lovely woman from Korea, and that has taken quite a chunk out of our schedule.

But now that that has been resolved, I wish to share with our dear enemies the psalm the

Lord gave me yesterday.

"In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; You will never allow me to be put to shame. In your

righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me.

"You are my rock of refuge, to which I go; give the command to save me,

Boy He sure did - He sent St. Michael

"You are my rock and fortress.

Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.

For you are my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence.

From my conversion I have relied on you; you brought me forth from the womb of this dark

world.

I will ever praise you.

I have become a sign to many that you are my strong refuge. My mouth is filled with your

praise, declaring your splendor all day long.

You have not cast me away when I am old: You have not forsaken me, though at times I feel

my strength is gone.

"For my enemies speak against me; those who wait to kill me conspire together.

For they say, 'God has forsaken her; pursue her and seize her, for no one will rescue

her.'

"Oh, how foolish their thoughts and schemes…

"You are not far from me, my God; You stand at my right hand and always are there quickly,

to help me.

"May my accusers perish in shame; may those who want to harm me, be covered with scorn

and disgrace and turn from their wickedness to You the hope of Israel!

And for the demons, may they walk the halls of Hell and declare the praises of God and

the mercy of God until Hell is no more.

"As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise You more and more.

My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long—though

I know not how to relate them all, You will put the words in my mouth

"I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteous

deeds, yours alone.

Since my conversion, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous

deeds.

"Even when I am old and gray, You have not forsaken me, till I declare your power to

the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.

Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens, you who have done great things.

"Oh, Who is like you, oh Lord?

Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you restore my life again and

again and again;

And wow - do I learn from those troubles!

"from the depths of the earth you have brought me up.

From the depths of self-pity, You have rescued me.

"You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.

I will praise you with my golden harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise

to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you—I whom you have delivered.

My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, to those who wanted to do me

harm.

I pity them, Lord, for they have been put to shame and confusion.

Teach them wisdom, open your arms wide and receive them as they turn from their wickedness

and recognize the liar they have given their lives to.

Restore them to purity, revive them with the honey of Your Love, infuse them with the wisdom

of the ages, that they might forsake their futile ways and run to You, Oh Lord.

Who will never deceive or hurt them.

And that's my version of Psalm 71.

Precious enemies, you who have planned evil to destroy what God is upholding here.

Please, take these words to the night watches when no one is listening to the thoughts of

your hearts.

Please consider: the one you serve has taught you lies and deceit, because that is all he

knows…

And please, like a little child, put 2 and 2 together: if he has taught you deceit, do

you really believe he has been honest with you???

A tree is known by its fruit.

His fruit is nothing but wickedness, evil, chaos.

He has come to kill, steal and destroy, to tear down what is good and cause disorder.

No-one can flourish in disorder - not even you.

Can you really execute the dreams of your heart in chaos?

Do you think you can find happiness when everywhere you turn is destruction?

Are you not sawing off the limb you are sitting on?

Everything you believe about Jesus is just another big lie to keep you in bondage to

this master Thief and Deceiver.

There is nothing that will please him more in your regard—than to see you on your death

bed and send his most gruesome demons to rip you out of your body and torture you limb

from limb… only to see your flesh reappear and destroy it again and again in raging pain.

And he'll laugh you to scorn!

Because you believed him.

You're gonna look at him and say, 'But I served you!'

And he's gonna look at you and say, "Yes!

You are a Dupe!

You certainly did serve me.

And now, I get to torture you for eternity."

That's what he has in mind for you.

Everything he has told you is one big lie after another to entrap you.

He is using your heart wounds, things done to you as a child and young adult, to manipulate

you into serving him.

You weren't able to forgive the people who hurt you, so he is using bitterness in your

heart, and the unforgiveness and so many other wrong attitudes in your hearts.

Attitudes you got when unjust men and women hurt you.

It's not God's fault they hurt you.

It is the fault of Satan, who taught them these ways and stole from them, wounded them,

and even addicted them—so they were weak and foolish and ended up wounding you.

Even those in the clergy who were weak and exploited you were inspired by Satan—not

Jesus.

Don't look to man.

Satan is the author of evil and he planned these things against you so that someday he

could get you to hand over your life to him, so you could retaliate and get retribution

for all the wounds that were done to you.

He deceived you into serving him.

He is the author of all the bad that has happened to you.

He is NOT the brother of Jesus.

He is a fallen angel.

That, too, is a lie.

Jesus is part of the holy Trinity: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Satan is but an angel that was created to lead worship in Heaven.

And he got ticked off because God got all the praise and worship - and HE wanted it.

So, he rebelled and he took a third of the angels with him.

Understand: he is NO equal to Jesus.

That's why he can't touch ANYONE that Jesus protects.

He can't!

But here is the good news, if you come to the Lord for help, He will not turn you away.

He will protect you.

He will heal your ills and remove from you the deep pains of your heart.

He will fill you with the oil of gladness, give you strength to stand and lead you into

the true meaning of your life.

A life fully equipped to serve.

A life that you'll find rewarding and joyful.

Please take to heart my words.

You are under the spell of the dark one, who will not win this battle.

But he will rejoice to torture and betray you for eternity.

Listen to the testimony of John Ramirez listed under this video.

He was at the top of Satan's command in America, in NYC.

Satan exploited his need for a father's love by coming to him every night and instructing

him.

He was the one who set principalities over NYC.

He had judges, politicians, doctors and the higher-ups in government in his coven.

He had women, cars, money, fame, notoriety - everyone was afraid of him.

Why did he leave Satan's service?

What tipped him off to what Satan was REALLY doing?

What does John know about Satan that you don't know?

Ask yourself that question and listen to his testimony.

If you dare… to know the real Truth.

And my Heartdwellers, please pray for these people who have sent one distraction after

another, and so many other spirits of division, and sickness.

Everything they can think of to try and bring Heartdwellers down.

Please pray for them.

The Lord has the victory over all of that, but you please pray for these captives that

they be set free.

The Lord is victorious and nothing will stop His will.

Our only job is to be obedient and give Him our all and He will do the rest.

I'm not going anywhere until it is my time.

I'm here to stay, and I thank you for your prayers.

They do help immensely.

I love you all dearly, and so appreciate your prayers and support.

It means a great deal to us.

We've got a lot of work to do!

And I thank you for being part of the Lord's heart and sharing your heart with us.

I love you all.

Yes, even you, my enemies.

I long to see you set free.

PageHabit Romance Box | February 2018 - Duration: 2:34.

Hey guys it's Trina and I have the PageHabit February romance box to unbox for

you guys today. I'm just going to be doing this one from off-screen since I

have been a PageHabit affiliate for six months and you guys kind of know the

gist by now so I'm just gonna show you what the box looks like when you open it

up and on top as always we have the note from the author as well as the

information card that lets you know where this month's donation went to and

this month it was given to Ethiopia. Next we have the PageHabit bookmark that you

get every month and this one has a quote from George RR Martin on the back. It

says: "sleep is good, he said, and books are better." And then we have this package

which is actually a beanie. It is this knit cap and it has a little leather

detail on it that says bookworm and I like that that is pretty subtle on this

hat. Next we have this stationary set. It looks like it's llama themed so there's

paper, envelopes, and stickers, and I guess to go along with that and use them

they also included this pen. The next thing in my box is the monthly short

story that we get and this month we have Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving. This

is the classic tale so you might already be familiar with this story. And last but

not least we have the main attraction, it is the main book of this box and I chose

the romance box because I could tell from the hint on PageHabit's website

that the book this month was gonna be The Wedding Date. It is about two

characters that meet in an elevator and they agree to like go on this fake date

to a wedding. I've heard that this is very swoony, very sexy and it seems

interesting to me because I love the fake relationship trope. As always the

PageHabit books do have annotations from the author in them so you can see

one of those here and that is everything in this month's romance box. If there's a

specific genre that you want to see me unbox next month let me know ASAP, I

can do that. And I would also love to know from you guys in the comments what

is your favorite romantic trope? This one deals with the fake relationship which I

really enjoy and I would love to hear some of your favorite romantic tropes.

If you want to get a PageHabit box of your own of any genre you can use my

link below and my code which is my name, Trina, and you will get free shipping off

of your first box or if you're international you'll get five dollars

off. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the comments. Bye!

READY JET GO! | Maybe You Should Help Each Other | PBS KID - Duration: 2:22.

I got a new soccer ball.

Want to try it out?

Hello?

- Over here, Sean.

Hey, what are you guys making together?

- That's kind of the problem.

We are not making anything together.

We're each busy with our own projects.

- Oh, well, what are you making, Jet?

- Lots of things.

First, I've got to get this rocket chair working again,

then make a pancake machine,

then a long list of other projects.

- How about you, Sunspot?

- He thinks it's important to make an automatic ear-massager.

With the massager, he can also do other projects

at the same time.

- Okay.

Sounds very Sunspot.

Anyway, I have my whole list of other projects to get to...

attaching a telescope to a helmet

so I can watch myself in space;

then I'll invent magnetic gloves;

a pillow made of pizza;

jet pack pants...

- [squeals]

- And I also want to make a double-decker hover-scooter.

Oh, and a taco machine for the saucer, and--

- So you each have a lot of projects.

Maybe if you start by helping each other a little,

it could make things go faster?

- Good idea.

First thing Sunspot can help me with

is getting me a glass of water.

I'm so thirsty, but I'm too busy to stop and get a drink.

- [gibbers] - With two ice cubes, please.

- Actually, I think he's asking you to get water, Jet.

- Really? After all I do for him?

He is my pet.

Shouldn't he help me?

- [chattering]

- Ah, thanks, Sunspot.

See, Sean, we're going along with your

"help each other" suggestion.

- [sips] - Okay.

So we're not really helping each other,

and we both have our own projects

and could use help...

- You know what you both need?

- Oh! Electric slippers?

- Maybe, but I was thinking a robot assistant.

That way, you can each have a helper

to do exactly what you want.

- Great idea, Sean.

Making a robot wasn't even on my list!

- Guess what--you don't even have to build one.

- Ha, ha.

You're right!

Sunspot, make me a robot.

Problem solved.

Should be done any minute.

[clattering]

Okay, Sunspot's not dropping everything

to build me a robot assistant.

Yoga Jump Back, Jump Forward - 25 Minutes Yoga Practice - with Matthew Downard - Duration: 25:24.

and what's up guys my name is Matthew and this is Caitlin and this is a video

about jumping and when I say jumping I mean jumping in the the vinyasa practice

or in Surya Namaskar this is where you'll typically see it so it'll be a

video about jumping back from half-lift or art it's an asana to chaturanga

dandasan a low pushup or as well we'll focus on jumping forward from down dog

or autumn mukha svanasana to standing forward fold or uttanasana so what will

be helpful is if you have a block you have a blanket and a wood floor or some

kind of slippery surface as well as a wall so let's go ahead and start in down

what when as you're here in down dog I'm just gonna add a little bit of

commentary to this video I make these videos personally for yoga teachers as

well as dedicated yoga students now I'm making them so so you guys have a a

resource to use to apply to your teaching as well as your own practice so

if you do like the videos there's more over on my youtube homepage check them

out see if there's anything there that's useful to you alright but while here and

in down dog root your finger pads down your knuckle pads as well push the hands

down very strongly get your arm just straight and that's strong as you can

from there start to lift the hips up so get hips up there we go now lift the

muscles of your legs up so on all sides pull up and tone the belly after that I

go ahead and stretch down through your heels and hold for a few more breaths

keep the feet there walk your hands back to your feet sir in a standing fold back

in that once in there go ahead and bend your knees a little bit bending the

knees can can sometimes help help you firm your muscles or get the the feeling

of contracting your muscles more so here go ahead and pull the front of your

thighs up pull the inner thighs up back the thighs up outer thighs up so on all

sides firm your legs lift and tone your abdomen and then work your legs straight

straighter and stronger

keep the heels heavy walk your hands back into downward-facing dog

at the net on the next exhale come down to your knees sit on your heels briefly

alright we're gonna do some chaturanga dandasana shoulder work here so good and

come to hands and knees index fingers index knuckles outer shoulder width

apart knees right around underneath hips now push the hands down move the upper

back up to towards the roof so push and then move the upper back up spread the

shoulder blades apart now without the hands moving push the

hands down and then drag them away from each other

take a breath there feel what happens now push the hands down and without the

hands moving drag them backwards feel what happens there take another breath

and then release the pose all right so I'm gonna have you do those actions

again we're gonna go ahead and do it do it like a modified plank position so

come to hands and knees this time walk your knees further back and just to make

it clearer go and lift the feet up off the floor

yeah knees further back than that so getting it like more of a plank plank

position get the hips in between knees and shoulders alright and then push the

hands down move the upper back up so first position now push the hands down

drag the hands away from each other second position one more push the hands

down and drag the hands backwards as you bend your elbows and lower your chest

part way down then push back up and repeat so push pull lower and then come

back up do it again refresh the actions push widen lower and then come back up

and rest a couple breaths no let's grab the block

put the block on its medium setting and you're gonna do the same exact thing you

just did your hands this works for me but it doesn't work for every single

person your hands the base of your hands are gonna go right around the top edge

of the block so whenever you lower block is about mid chest dish so if you notice

the block is just way down by the belly scoop floor and why get yourself four

and one but go ahead and put your hands in place we'll do exactly the same thing

and the block is just a limiter so whenever you lower

don't touch the block at all actually keep your chest get it as close to the

block without touching as possible all right do the same actions push

through the hands dome the upper back pull the hands apart and now pull the

hands back as you lower and then push back up pause refresh the actions push

pull and then lower again push pull and then lower all right come back up rest

okay so we'll do that again but we'll the

option for plank option for knees not on floor now so the exact same thing so you

push the hands down and drag them apart and then towards towards your so in a

backwards position as you lower and then we'll repeat alright so go ahead and set

up come into plank if you're gonna work the plank variation take a moment get

the length of the stance and then when you're ready go ahead and push through

the hands pull them apart drag them back as you lower push back up repeat the

actions push pull them apart drag them back and lower do one more push pull

them apart drag them back and lower all right come up rest

fun I don't know about that and then let's go ahead and let's get

the your mat that's what it's called you're sticking that lets get that thing

out of the way

okay so insert slippery surface now so we're using blanket we're using wood

floor you could use socks wood floor or whatever whatever slippery put the the

block on the the same setting at the top edge of your slippery surface and then

stand on your your blanket I'm gonna have her motto are not modified demo

first so you can visually see what we're doing and then I'll talk you through it

so go ahead and fold forward alright then lift partway up into a ardha

uttanasana now flatten the palms slide out into low push-up chaturanga

dandasana now push back up high pushup look a little bit forward and then slide

the feet back in into forward fold uttanasana

alright and then from there we'll repeat so we're gonna put that on a loop

so we'll go half lift low push up high push-up and then standing fold and we'll

repeat that three times so you you ready alright half way up flatten the palms

slide out to low push-up on an exhale push up into high push-up on an inhale

then standing forward fold slide in on an exhale repeating half way up flatten

the palms low push-up on your exhale push-up high push-up on the inhale and

then boots nice gonna slide in on the exhale one more time

inhale half-lift exhale low pushup slide it out slow it down push back up and

then slide in try to get the hips as high as you can and fold rest

so those feel a few different motions so on the blanket here you're going to

start to connect into a lot of what's going to be required for the

thing back but out as well when you slide forward you're gonna connect and

do what's what's being asked of you when you jump forward as well I go ahead and

grab your hips and stand let's get the these things out of the way so get the

blanket out of there get the block out of there get the mat back in there okay

so once you get the the mat back out there and standing out top mat facing

forward as if you're gonna do serving up scars all right then I'm gonna have you

do some jumping from our two it's not snow or half lift to down dog so go

ahead and fold forward then lift partway up flatten your palms bend your knees

jump your hips high go all the way back to down dog

boom all right and then repeat go back to the top of your mat and then do the

same thing again so on an in-breath come part way up with an outgrowth then the

knees flatten the palms get the hips as high as you can and then down dog

alright do one more time she's having fun

all right then lift partway up flatten the palms bend the knees hips as high as

you can downward facing dog boom all right back

to the top of your mat all right stand up so these are these are just little

pieces that you can work you can work that again and again and just really you

know get the feeling for jumping in that manner so we're gonna go ahead and push

it forward now we're gonna jump to chaturanga dandasan with the block with

your little limiter block there so just like you're doing sliding sliding out to

low pushup just like you're doing jumping to down dog now apply the pieces

so fold forward lift partway up flatten your palms bend your knees jump to low

pushup this time boom push yourself up high push-up down

dog look a little bit forward come back to top edge a minute all right so when

you're ready go ahead and repeat that two more times halfway lift flatten the

palms bend the knees try to get the hips as high as you can as you hover to low

push-up just kidding that was down dog she's gonna try again but push back up

and then repeat there we go push back up and then down there all right rest for a

few breaths hovering and rest all right so those are those are just some pieces

pieces that can help strengthen the components of jumping back we're just

gonna push this forward a little bit here so let's bring the short edge of

your mat over to a wall all right so short edge of mat over to the wall and

we're gonna do what's called altos let me sit down face the wall

so I'm gonna have you measure measure yourself out so the distance for your

your hands you're placing up your hands so sit down face the wall put the soles

of your feet into the wall straighten your legs all right now we're basically

around where your hips are that's where your hands are gonna end up so mark that

off with something good get right around that ballpark area turn around and set

up for down dog put your hands where your hips were and then do down dog with

your hip feet up the wall and if you're not familiar with this elbows just look

up at the screen for a moment and watch what she's about to do now bring one

foot up the wall bring the other foot up the wall and create more or less what's

a down dog shape upside down or an L in L shape alright so just hold that few

breaths feel what it feels like to have that much weight on your hands your arms

take one more breath and then come down to a

standing forward fold all right so that it's a very it's a very strong strong

cause that's it in my opinion it's harder than than doing some of some of

these other things we do on our hands like handstand we're gonna go ahead and

repeat that I'm just gonna ask you to rock a little bit more of your weight

forward so more more let's say shoulders shift forward hips shift four and more

over the wrists or a little bit beyond the wrists and I'm gonna have you do

that so you can feel what it feels like to have to use your hands as brakes so

whenever we go to jump forward that'll be part of the process so go ahead and

come into elbows again if you need to stay there stay there or those you that

can come to your tippy toes so Rock some of your weight forward feel

what it feels like push your fingertips forward so your heels want to go back to

the wall but don't all right and then come down and rest standing forward fold

so whenever we do the jumping forward the shoulders will actually for most of

us depending on how how far we've jumped forward the shoulders world typically

going in front of the wrist and so once you get there you're gonna have to use

your fingertips as brakes all right now let's come back into L pose we're gonna

add another component here so bring the foot up one foot then the other foot up

now stay with any of the last two options that we did or now I'm gonna

have you float your feet down to the floor and as you do it try to slow the

descend down there we go so might just be a plop of your feet down to the floor

and that's fine but you're gonna start to get used to being on your hands your

arms or more of your body weight on your hands your arms like that so go ahead

and bring one foot up come back into L pose we're gonna repeat it three times

so get up there try to stack the hips lean a little bit forward and then feet

down there we go and when you're ready do it one more time so grip the floor

awesome forward fold rest

okay stand up for a moment so you know just upside down the whole time all

right now we're gonna put we're gonna add one more piece into the puzzle and

it might be appropriate and it might just be beyond your doorway so we're

going to do elbows two feet down to the floor and then back to elbows but with

the option to actually jump the feet up to the wall so working working the two

different actions we then we're working on in this video so first let's go ahead

and start in elbows and then working the the descend the descending piece so feet

down to uttanasana ish alright now work on the hopping the

hips up and feet up to the wall here we go

alright then work the descent awesome then do it again hop the hips high one

more time feet down bend the knees deeply flatten the palms jump feet up

awesome one more time feet down into Boonton asana and then rest I grab your

hips and stand she doesn't want it

alright now let's pull the the mat back away from the wall so you have a little

more space and we'll do we'll do a do some more hopping but we'll do some

block hopping as well so we're gonna do try to get you used to

jumping forward now so it'll be it'll be let's put your block yeah hold on hold

on let's put your block a little less than halfway up your mat so if you're in

down dog let's say where your feet are that's the back your mat so put your

block about half way up from that and then come into down dog no I'm just

gonna have you go from from down dog hop your feet to the other side of the block

and that I know she's able to do this so that's why I'm having the block about

that half way up but for some if you're if you're newer to this get the block

closer to your feet and just get used to jumping alright so look a little bit

forward or actually looks strongly forward bend the knees and then hop boom

alright go ahead and hop back to down dog boom alright do that three times and

try to launch the hips up there awesome and then again launch the hips up as you

go back to downtown boom one more time look forward strongly bend the knees

launch up boom and then launch yourself back boom rest get out of your block now

that can be done in increments so starting with block as close to your

feet as you need to and then incrementally moving it closer and

closer to hands so then eventually it's right behind it

and you're just landing with feet feed all the way up there alright so now

let's get your your this thing it's called a sticky nut apparently let's get

the sticky mat out of there again alright and then let's get the blanket

the the real blanket back in there again your slippery surface let's get that in

there come into down-dog with your feet on your your sliding surface so a

slippery dog this is good times good times here yeah Oh slippery dog just

hold that for a moment and feel what you have to contract to hold the pieces in

there if you go if you go hands and feet too close together you don't actually

you don't have to work that hard so still still get the hands and feet away

from each other where she's working now look forward and from here slide your

feet into uttanasan oh lift your hips it's not snow all right look partway up

art it's nice man go ahead and go chaturanga dandasan and slide it out and

lower pull into up dog pull back to down dog look forward slide

into uttanasan again hips high high high oh it's nothing I'll give you an extra

breath there because we're just gonna do it one more time we'll do that modified

soon I'm scar a loop there so halfway lift on an inhale chaturanga a little

push up on an exhale up dog or a mocha on an inhale down dog autumn Luca on an

exhale look forward Wooten asana slide it in pike yourself up and pause it's

hard I grab your hips and stand

alright in my mind we're ready to jump so let's get the this thing again

sticking that let's get that sticky mat back out there

and then we'll go ahead and just do a few jumps from down dog boots in asana

and then once that's in plate we're gonna go ahead and just bring it all in

to Cyrano muscari so set up in down dog

and then take your gaze forward bend the knees get ready for it hop

Hooten asana boom alright get your back get yourself back to down dog hot back

there if you need to might be good for you and then let's do it two more times

so look in the direction you're headed so look forward strongly bend the knees

suck everything up and boom Lana Newton asana alright and go for it hop your

feet back down dog and then when you're ready one more time pull the muscles of

your legs up to on the abdomen and jump float

nice all right pause right there alright grab the hips and Stan okay now we're

gonna apply it to Surya Namaskar a so jumping from article to asana into

chaturanga dandasan o low pushup Nerva mukha autumn oka up dog down dog

and then looking forward jumping from autumn ocassion asana down dog - Wooten

asana standing full top mat okay she's ready next inhale arms up overhead

fold forward on your exhale lift partway up inhale jump to little

push-up chaturanga dandasan exhale up dog or the Mukesh Mawson inhale down dog

Accounting vs. Finance - What's the Difference? - Duration: 7:52.

Hi I'm Gareth Provost and in this video I am talking about the differences

between accounting and finance specifically for the entrepreneur and

growing small business. Make sure you stay tuned until the end where I'm going

to release my tips on how to keep from making the wrong hire at the wrong time

in these departments. Welcome to Entrepreneurship by the Numbers where we

help unlock the potential of your business

using data-driven metrics. Alright let's start with accounting. What are

accountants? Well if I had to choose one word to describe accounting it would be

"organization." Accountants are great at organizing your financial data - in fact

that's their job. Their whole purpose is taking

the financial information of a company and putting it in the right buckets. We

call these buckets accounts and these accounts are overseen by a layer

of rules. Those rules are called GAAP or Generally Accepted Aaccounting

Principles. Now all accountants must comply with

GAAP and follow these rules and the reason that that's so important is

because when you need to take your business books and get some outside work

done - for example, let's say you're applying for a loan or you're applying

for some equity ownership like angel funding or VC funding, or maybe you're

just filing your taxes - any of these functions required that someone else

takes a look at your books (oh and I almost left off mergers and acquisitions)

so someone else is looking at your books at that point and trying to gain

understanding of what's happening inside your business. If you're not following

the same rules - what the heck - I mean nobody can make sense of any of

it. And so that's why accountants are so valued, because they understand and apply

GAAP and make sure that your business makes sense to other people who might

need to look at it. Now on the other hand, we've got financial professionals. Now

finance - if I had to pick a word to encapsulate finance it would be "strategy"

The financial person's job is to take the data that accounting has

provided and to instead take that and analyze it - interpret it - and bring that

analysis and interpretation to the C-level team, the executive team, and that

way you're making financially sound strategic growth decisions in your

business.

So what do the two trajectories of these different departments look like?

Well accounting starts out at a data entry level so for a small business, when

you're just starting out you'll very likely want to outsource your accounting

needs to an outsourced bookkeeper or you can do them yourself. But you probably

don't have the need for a full time accounting person in your business yet.

So at that point you're looking at some accounts payable and accounts receivable

which is sending invoices and accepting payments and hounding people who need to

pay you and those sorts of functions. And after you pass that, you know, the next

level is the accountant, the staff accountant, and then you have a senior

staff accountant, and some accounting managers, and then you become an

assistant controller or AC, and then a controller, and and then in some cases

you might even see a Chief Accounting Officer. You don't hear about those all that

often but they're out there and it depends on the industry and the specific

needs of that industry and your business. So that's what that looks like - that

trajectory. At the bottom we have the the the data entry and the accounts payable

and you're probably looking around 20, maybe 25, bucks an hour for that role.

This is generally a couple of years of college maybe a four-year degree and

of course as you move up through the ranks of accounting you have a couple of

different educational trajectories you could take. You might get an MBA you

might get a CPA so in either case it's like an extra layer of knowledge - an

extra layer of education - that gives you a stronger foundation as a professional.

So at the bottom again - at the entry level I should say - you're looking

at twenty bucks an hour probably and at the high end you can be well into the six

figures so plan out who you need and why you need them against your budget to

make sure that you're bringing your the right person in.

Alright, so on the finance side of things what does this career trajectory

look like? Well we're gonna start off generally at some sort of an analyst

level role. The financial analyst average salary here in Denver is, I think,

seventy-five to eighty thousand and that's with just a couple of years

experience. So you can see there's a difference in the entry level

between Accounting and Finance. Generally, you're gonna require a four-year degree

here in finance and you are going to maybe even have a master's degree or

some other designations - CFA for example. So from there you're looking at a senior

role - senior analyst generally - then into a manager role, into a VP of Finance, into

Director of Finance, and then you're gonna cap at CFO. So CFOs I'm sure you

know everyone's heard of chief financial officers - they almost always come with a

very heavy six-figure salary not to mention bonus structure. So again

make sure that you're hiring the right role at the right time for your business.

What are your needs? Are you outsourcing or are you hiring full-time?

Do you have enough data and financial analysis to be done to require a full-time position? Or not?

So those are the basics between these two departments and also what the

trajectory looks like in the typical career of these two types of

professionals. Y,es there's a lot of overlap. Yes, there are many finance

people who are good at the accounting and there are many accounting people who

are good at the strategy, but generally speaking this is the way that these

two departments are grown and are created. So bear that in mind when you're

building your company.

Okay last tip is this - when you are going to hire for either of these roles, always

ask yourself this question: do we need more organization or do we need more

strategy? If the answer is organization you are

almost sure to be looking for an accounting professional. If the answer is

we are looking for more strategy, the answer is almost always we are looking

for a finance professional. Yes there's a lot of overlap between these two roles

however you want the core personality and the person you hire to be in line

with either organization or strategy so keep that in mind as you grow. If you

have any questions please do shoot them here below and be sure to click

best of luck as you continue to grow your empire! Thanks!

What You Need to Know About Smart Light Bulbs | Allstate Insurance - Duration: 4:02.

Welcome to The Handyguys and today we're going to talk about light bulbs.

That's right, Paul.

The simple light bulb has been around for about 150 years, but now, we have something

else.

Right, today we now have smart bulbs.

They're LED bulbs much like this older LED bulb, but this

is a dumb bulb.

It just good as on and off.

These LED bulbs have some intelligence.

That's right.

They can be controlled by your smart phone.

They can change colors.

They can change brightness — all kinds of things.

So, the question is how do they work?

Right, you don't need to install any fancy switches.

You don't need to do any electrical work.

You just — if you can screw in a light bulb — you can

do the physical install of these no problem.

Right, so just by installing these like any old-fashioned light bulb — you screw it

in — you'll be able to you set these on and off with a standard light switch and a

standard lamp.

They essentially work either over your Wi-Fi or they work with a hub or they work with

a voice app on your phone.

Right, or a virtual assistant, if you have one.

Exactly.

So, you know they're pretty cool, but we need to talk about what all the features are.

Are they worth it?

What can we do with these smart bulbs, Brian?

That's right, so one of the things that I have is those

mechanical timers.

You set the time for a light that you plug into the timer.

You set the time on and time off and it controls that light.

Well, now you don't need to do that.

You can do that all in a smart app and control each of these bulbs individually to come on

and off certain times of the day.

Or, as a group, if you want, and so you can set them for a room and have them go on and

off based on a timer which you would set up on the smart app that's available for the

particular brand of smart bulb that you're using.

So, that's pretty cool, but Brian, I like the feature where you can have them go off

automatically when you leave your, you know, driveway.

That's right.

That's called geofencing and that's used in a number of different kind of apps.

But with the light bulbs, you can set it so that when you leave your house a certain group

of lights or all of them turn off and when you approach the house you can even be a say

a mile away and you want to have all the lights come on.

You can do that, as well.

So, it triggers the geofence.

That's right.

But the other cool feature, which we've kind of hinted at, is that they can if you have

certain kinds of smart bulbs they can change colors.

So, for instance, you could set them green for Christmas.

You could set them as orange for Halloween or you could set up various scenes for you

know different things you do about the day.

So, these are smart bulbs but there are some drawbacks.

In perhaps, the drawbacks you know may mean that someone may not be interested in these

smart bulbs.

But, what are the drawbacks?

That's right.

One of the biggest ones for me is the cost.

So, these bulbs are going to run two to four times the price of a regular LED bulb which

is already on the expensive side compared to what we used to pay for the incandescent

bulbs.

Right, so they cost a lot more.

But, there's also the challenge of configuring it so it isn't really just plug it in and

you're ready to go with all the intelligent features.

Right.

So, a lot of these will require some kind of a

smart hub.

The manufacturer will specify what they need or they're going to need to hook up to your

Wi-Fi.

They're going to have to have an app of some type and like we said a virtual assistant.

So, you're going to need to make all these disparate technologies work together.

And another thing, Brian, is you essentially have to treat these like another computer.

That's right.

They're going to need software security updates and patches.

All of that good stuff just like your laptop or smartphone does.

Exactly.

So, there you have it the old-fashioned Edison bulb

has been replaced by LEDs, CFLs and now smart bulbs.

They come in different shapes for different lights.

You know recessed lights, your standard lamps, but again, they're not necessarily plug-and-play.

You really need to get into the technology.

But once you do, they're pretty cool.

Alright.

So, there you have it, thanks for watching The Handyguys.

Thanks.

♪♪♪

Gregory: Spiritual warfare is the battle over who you're

going to believe you are.

Who are you gonna believe you are?

Because, as soon as Satan showed up in the Garden of Eden in the

form of the serpent, as soon as he showed up,

the first thing he wanted to do was challenge who Adam

and Eve thought they were.

He challenged their identity.

Let's look there in Genesis chapter 1 in verse 26.

God says, "Let us make man in our image,

according to our likeness, and let them have dominion

over the fish of the sea."

Now, notice, what we are is what determines what we have.

He said, "Let us make man in our image," and then,

"Let them have dominion."

You're not gonna have what God wants you to have until you know

what God made you to be.

"Let us make man in our image," and then,

"Let them have dominion."

You're not gonna walk in what God wants you to have until you

renew your mind to who you are.

You are made in the image of God.

I want you to say that, say, "I am made in the image of God."

Notice what he said, "Let us make man in our image,

according to our likeness."

So, we are made just like the Father,

Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We're made in that same image.

We are spirit, soul, and body.

So, the first thing God says about man is I've made you

in my image and in my likeness.

And then, the first thing Satan does is, he attacks that

fundamental truth in Genesis 3 verse 1, when he says, "The

serpent is more crafty than any beast of the field," and says

to the woman, "Has God indeed said you shall not eat of every

tree of the garden," and she said, "You shall not eat it,

lest you touch it, lest you die."

Verse 3, and he says, "You shall--" she says, "You

shall not eat it or touch it, lest you die," verse

4, and the serpent says, "You will not die."

God says you will, the serpent says you won't,

that ought to tell us something,

that everything Satan is trying

to do is challenge what God said.

So, spiritual warfare really is believing what God said,

no matter what the devil says.

No matter what anybody else says, no matter what

your mama says, or your daddy says,

no matter what the teacher said, no matter what the preacher

said, what did God's--what does God's Word say?

What does God's Word say?

And then, verse 5, look at what the devil says.

Verse 5, "Oh, God knows the day you eat from it your eyes will

be open, and you will be like God."

"You will be like God," so, the devil is trying to promise them

something that they already had.

They already were like God.

Last time I checked was Genesis 1:26,

"Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness."

So, guess what, who is Adam and Eve like?

They're already like God.

They're already made in his image.

They're already made in his likeness,

and what does Satan come after?

The likeness of God.

Well, if you eat from this tree, then you'll really be like God.

No, they already were like God, and this is Satan's game with

most all of us is he's always trying to get us to try to go

after something that we already have.

You already have the image of God in you.

You already have the love of God in you.

You already have the peace of God in you.

You already have the Holy Spirit living inside of you.

Satan's trying to say you don't have this,

you don't have that, you already have it.

Now, what Satan is trying to do is blind

you from realizing that you have it.

The whole goal of spiritual warfare, to win in spiritual

warfare, we need to know what we already are.

Now, so, notice, Satan goes after their identity.

You'll be like God if you eat--you're not like God now,

but you will be like God if you disobey him.

So, he goes after their identity.

Now, let's look at how he--what he did with Jesus.

If you look in Matthew chapter 4 verse 3,

the same thing happens.

So, Jesus is in the wilderness, just like Adam and Eve were in

the garden, and Satan comes.

Jesus is in the wilderness and Satan comes,

and when the tempter comes to him,

he says, "If you are the Son of God,

command these stones to become bread," as if Jesus had to prove

that he was the Son of God by turning the stones into bread.

And what the reality is, you don't have to prove anything to

know that you're the son of God, or a daughter--you're a child of

God, because 1 John 3 verse 1 says, "Behold," look at this,

1 John 3 verse 1, "Behold, what manner of love is this?

What manner of love the Father has for us that we should be

called children of God," that we should be

called children of God.

You see, everything in the Bible is an announcement that we have

become children of God the moment we're saved, because

when you know you're a child of God, you know you have

the rights of being an heir of what is yours in Christ.

And so, if Satan can undermine your--the confidence of who you

are in Christ, then you won't pray with authority,

you won't go to God boldly to the throne of his grace,

you won't speak boldly, you won't give boldly, you won't

smile boldly, you won't live boldly, you'll live sheepishly,

cowardly, with inferiority all of your life,

because Satan has undermined who you are.

He'll say to you, "Well, look at you, you're, you know, you're

not black enough, you're not white enough, you're not

feminine enough, you're not male enough, you're not rich enough,

you're not skinny enough, you're not smart enough,

you're not educated enough, you don't have

this, you don't have that."

And remember, what you have flows from who you are.

So, when you know you're a child of God,

look at what Paul said in Romans chapter 8 verse 15.

He said--look, Romans chapter 8 verse 15,

"For you are no longer enslaved to the spirit of bondage that

leads to fear," he said, "For you have received the spirit of

adoption, you're a child of God."

You've been adopted to the family of God, and he said,

"And now, you can cry out, 'Abba, Father,'" he's as much

your Father as he is Jesus's Father.

Even when I mess up, even when I screw up,

even when I--yes, haven't your kids messed up, and screwed

up, but they're still--you're still their father,

you're still their mother, they're still your child.

Verse 16 goes on to say, "The Spirit himself bears witness

with our spirit that we are children of God," verse 17,

"And if children, then heirs, heirs of God

and joint heirs with Christ."

That--whoa, we're not sub-heirs, we're joint heirs.

When we file our taxes, we file them jointly, that means

everything she owes, I owe, everything she has,

I have, it's jointly, it's equal.

And the Bible here says we're heirs of God and joint

heirs with Christ, joint heirs.

We have the same inheritance that he has, and what we

need to do, it says if we suffer with him, we need to suffer,

and it doesn't mean suffering with sickness, or suffering

with disease, or suffering with poverty.

Those are forms of suffering, but that's not the suffering

he's talking about here.

The suffering here is the word resisting.

We must resist the way Jesus resisted.

How did Jesus resist the devil?

It is written, it is written, it is written.

How do we resist him?

It is written, it is written, it is written, that's suffering.

Anybody can just accept that whatever happens in your life

God meant it to happen, but that's not God's

way of spiritual battle.

We're supposed to gird up our loins with the truth,

and the truth is, is that God's Word is our tool and our weapon

to use against every lie of the enemy.

When you speak God's Word, stuff happens.

When you read God's Word, stuff happens.

When you pray God's Word, stuff happens.

You're a joint heir with Jesus Christ.

Say that, "I'm a joint heir with Jesus Christ."

I'm joined with him, I'm a joint heir.

I'm a joint heir, I'm joined with him.

Some of us, the only meaning we know of joint is...

[congregation laughing]

Gregory: Brother knows, right?

From the past, from the past, from the past, from the past.

We're joint heirs, what is his is ours, where he is, we are.

Ephesians 2:6 says, "We are seated with

him in heavenly places."

We're not seated under him, we're not seated a few notches

below, he's raised us up together and made us sit

together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

We are seated together with him.

His authority is our authority.

When we pray, it's like Jesus praying.

When we speak to the mountain, it's like

Jesus speaking to the mountain.

You don't wanna walk like that?

That's okay, you can be a little sheepish little Christian that

doesn't have any authority.

You have it, you're just not using it

because you have a false humility.

False humility is, "Oh, no, I don't have that kind of power."

Shut up, and gird up, and speak up,

and rise up, and be the man or woman that God created you to

be, and speak to that mountain, speak to those dry bones,

speak to the valley, and say, "Sun, stand still."

Speak to the dry bones and say, "These bones shall live."

We got too many Christians, we got too many Christians that

are just bound up, and we gotta start speaking up so that we

can take our rightful place, and rise up, and be the parents

God called us to be, be the business owners God called us

to be, be the brothers and sisters to one another

that we're called to be.

Stop living as a grasshopper with an inferiority complex,

and start taking your rightful place by knowing who you are.

You're a joint heir.

Say, "I'm a joint heir with Jesus Christ."

This is what Satan is after, folks, he's after your

identity, because you bear the image of God.

When you know who you are, several things will happen.

When you know yourself the way God intended for you to know

yourself, you will forgive like God forgives, John 20 tells us.

You will stop comparing yourself to others out of inferiority

complex, like 2 Corinthians 10 tells us.

You will be completely free from jealousy like

1 Corinthians chapter 3 tells us.

You will be able to withstand all of hell's power,

Matthew chapter 16 tells us.

You will be able to overcome temptation and stop sinning,

1 Corinthians chapter 15 tells us.

You will do great things for God, Daniel 11:32 tells us.

And you will pray with authority and power,

James chapter 5 verse 16 tells us.

You will do all of these things when you know who you are.

So, the focus doesn't need to be on I gotta do this,

and I should be able to do this, and I should be able to do this,

no, the focus should be on knowing who you are,

because when you know who you are,

these things flow naturally and freely out of your life.

When you know you're a joint heir with Jesus Christ,

you start praying like heaven's gonna move some stuff around.

When you know who you are in Christ, you start speaking like

some mountains are about to get their running shoes

on and they're gonna run from the utterance of your voice.

When you know who you are, you're gonna walk into some

hospitals, and you're gonna start putting some hospitals out

of business, because nobody's gonna be able

to stay sick in that place.

You gotta know who you are.

We gotta know who we are.

You know who you are, you know what you have,

you know what you're made of?

Let me give you some things and then we'll close.

You've been made in the same image as God, Genesis 1:26 says.

You have been made with the same spirit, you carry the

same spirit that Jesus carried, Romans 8:11 says.

You have the same love inside of you that Jesus has,

Romans 5 verse 5 says.

Now, don't get me wrong, we're not tapping into these things

because we didn't know these things were in our account.

It's like if you had a bank account with all this money,

but you didn't know that you had the money, you'll never

put a withdrawal through, you'll never use your ATM

card unless you know you got something in there 'cause

you know if there's nothing in

there and you put that card in, the card

disappears, has that happened to anybody?

That's another subject for another day.

All right, but when you know this is who you are,

you start placing a demand on these things that are in you,

and you start drawing from the account of love,

you start drawing from the account of the Holy Spirit.

According to 2 Corinthians 4:13, you have the same faith that

Jesus had, all you need is a mustard seed.

According to Galatians 3:29, you have the

same promise that Jesus had.

According to 1 Corinthians chapter 2,

verse 11 through 16, you have the same mind that Jesus had.

And, 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "God has not given you a spirit of

fear, but power, love, and sound mind."

And, 1 Corinthians 2 says you have the mind of Christ.

You say, "Well, if I have the mind of Christ,

why do I make so many stupid decisions?"

Because, you have to choose which mind

you're gonna listen to.

Paul said, "I have been crucified with Christ,

it's no longer I who live, but the life that I now live in the

flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and

delivered himself up for me."

What he's saying is there's two different people he's talking

about here, his old man, and his new man,

his old self and his new self.

I, my old self, was crucified with Christ, and it's no longer

I, my old self, who lives, but the life that I now life,

my new self, lives in the flesh, I live by faith,

I, my new self, lives by faith in the Son of God who loved me

and delivered himself up for me.

My old self was crucified, my new self lives by faith in the

Son of God who loved me and delivered himself up for me.

You see, you have to be the deciding factor.

You can either side with your old self, or you can side

with your new self, you must choose.

That's the battle between your flesh and your spirit.

The flesh wars against the spirit,

and the spirit wars against the flesh.

The flesh is your old self, and your old way of thinking,

and the spirit is your new self, and God's way of thinking.

And your mind has to choose, "I'm siding

with my new self today.

I'm going to align my thinking with God's thinking,

so my mind gets in agreement with my spirit."

Does this make sense to anybody?

You have the same mind as Christ, the same anointing, 1

John 2:27 says, and the same authority, Luke 10:19 says.

"Behold, I give you authority to trample upon serpents and

scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing

shall by any means injure you, hurt you, or harm you."

Now, we can walk around this life like Christian ostriches,

and we can stick our head in the sand at all the problems in the

world, or we can pray with authority like

Jesus gave us to pray.

We can pray as the righteousness of God

like James 5:16 tells us to.

We can start talking like we have,

and we are, who God says we are.

We can start--or, we can be, you know, just sheepish, wimpy,

banana-back, flimsy, flamsy, milquetoast Christians,

or we can be men and women of whom the world is not worthy,

men and women who know their God, and therefore, we

know ourselves, and therefore, we will win every battle,

because the great author of "The Art of War," said,

"If you know yourself, and you know your enemy,

you'll win every battle.

But if you know your enemy but you don't know yourself,

some battles you'll win, and every battle you win, you'll

have an equal defeat and a loss to every battle that you win."

So, we have to know our enemy is the devil trying to rob us of

our identity, but we know ourselves, who are we?

Children of God, sons and daughters of God,

joint heirs with Jesus Christ, and when you start thinking that

way about yourself, you'll start living that way from yourself.

Gregory: Well, when you know who you are,

you become invincible to the schemes of the enemy,

the devil has no power over you, and you can conquer everything

life throws at you, but you've got to know who you are,

that's what this is all about.

That's how you're gonna win today,

tomorrow, this year, and the rest of your life.

This is who you are, this is what you have,

this is what you can do, and you know what?

You've only heard just a small part of this message

so stay right there, I've got some words of encouragement

that's gonna give you some great,

great news, and here's how to order this.

Gregory: Your life is made in the image of God.

Your destiny is made in the image of God.

male announcer: There is great power in knowing that you

are created in the image and likeness of Almighty God,

and Gregory Dickow's amazing teaching series,

"Identity," is vital to your understanding,

acceptance, and activation of who you are,

what you have, and what you can do.

In these messages, you'll learn that who you are in Christ is

the source of true power, and why his love for you is the

basis for the revelation of your identity.

You'll hear why the devil attempts to steal your

identity, and how to overcome his schemes

and walk in your God-given destiny.

Gregory: God is not delegating the authority of his

power to himself, he's delegated it to you.

announcer: And Gregory Dickow's series, "The Authority of the

Believer," provides step-by-step guidance through the Scriptures

to reveal and explain the power you can tap into.

Learn why you have the same authority as Jesus, what this

authority is, and how to use it, the covenant God made with

you, and how to exercise your authority today.

Gregory Dickow's important teachings on identity,

and the authority of the believer can both be

yours for a gift of $30.

That's eight life-changing messages which will give you

vital instruction for knowing who you are,

what you have, and what you can do.

Scripture" card with verses for you to declare every day about

what God thinks and says about you.

Don't miss this opportunity to order "The Power of Knowing

Who You Are" collection.

Call, write, or order online today.

Gregory: I cannot emphasize enough how vital it is to get

these messages and hear 'em over and over again.

Thousands of people around the world are experiencing real

transformation through the knowledge of knowing who they

are, you're next, or someone you

care about, or someone you love.

This is so important for people who just--who are going

through any problem in life.

Knowing who you are is the secret to it all.

Addictions, sickness, disease, you name it, fear, anxiety,

worry, knowing who you are is the secret to it all.

Call or order online today, and I wanna thank you and tell you

how grateful I am for you, because this last year,

we were able to do so much around the world.

We've been able to take the gospel to over 100 nations,

we've given so much, so many supplies to people on the ground

after the hurricanes in Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico, Haiti.

We've been able to bless hundreds of children with

parents who are incarcerated in prison, clothed hundreds of

poverty-stricken children in Peru.

We've given 5,000 Bibles to people in Haiti,

in their own language, that have never even read the Bible

before, or owned a Bible before, and that's not even a fraction

of what we did last year with your help.

But, more importantly, and most importantly, we led over 3,300

people to Jesus Christ, one on one,

through one-on-one evangelism.

Every week, we go into the inner cities,

we go into prisons, we go into hospitals,

and personally lead people to the Lord.

Their lives are being transformed, and 2018 is gonna

be even greater because of God's glory, and because of you.

Thank you for your partnership and your prayers.

Without your help, none of these things could have happened.

So, I'm asking you to consider partnering with me and making a

special gift today to get this message out to even more people.

The real Jesus, we're introducing people to the real

Jesus, and we're changing mindsets that change the world.

And I wanna encourage you, coach you, mentor you,

let's do this this year, okay?

Your gift of $100, or $50, or whatever God puts in your heart

will be an investment into changing people's lives around

the world, but also an investment into your life,

because we're gonna get to minister to you more,

partner together in so many things that are just for you.

So, call the number on your screen, go to my website

and make your gift, and I wanna thank you in advance,

and you're making a difference, a huge difference in people's

lives, thank you so much.

Let me pray for you now.

Father, thank you for every person watching this broadcast.

Give them hope that things can change beginning today.

Open their heart, their eyes, their mind to

know who they are in Christ.

Give them revelation knowledge of it in Jesus's name, amen.

Now listen, don't miss next week's broadcast,

I can't wait to see you then.

God loves you and so do I, God bless.

How Do You Build Rapport with Youth? - Duration: 2:38.

As far as approaching teens or tips to be successful at creating a rapport or

approaching teens, I think it's more delicate than even when you're

talking to adults. I think, as adults, we allow this this

small talk approach, or we allow, we, our guards are up and we all know how to do

the dance. With young people, they're gonna be way more honest about where

they are and about calling things the way they see it and about their feelings

about your interaction. So I try to just be authentic and transparent in my

interactions with them. A couple things I look at when when working with them

specifically if it's one-on-one, in development of a rapport, I don't have a

specific strategy. What I tend to do is when talking to young people, I listen. So

I ask a lot of questions and then I listen to the answers, and I'm searching

out, early on I'm searching out shared experiences. What are you interested in?

What do you care about? A lot of times it takes on things as superficial as sports.

It might be where we're from. It might be a movie we saw. It might be something we

like to eat. But I try to find a shared experience through conversation and

talking the way. The way the rapport continues to develop is I begin asking more questions,

but based off of the answers they're providing. So it's not I have the

script or this list of questions to ask you, it's I'm actually listening to you,

I'm hearing what you're saying, and then I'm going to build, I'm gonna have more

questions off of what it is that you're sharing with me. You see what I mean? It's

actually looking to build a conversation as opposed to, all right check, next

question, check, you know, so the listening parts are real big part of it. I also

find that a lot of what I do is, it's not about me sharing a ton of my life

experience with them, it's primarily about me hearing from them and letting

me know I care about what they think. You know if that's a real part of what youth

development is, is them feeling valued, a necessary part of the process, then I

have to provide opportunities to do that, and I have to get to know them as much

as I can so they can find other opportunities to allow them into the

process. If I have these four meetings. if I have this small period

of time. In that period of time, I want to show them as much and as consistently

as I can that they are important, they're valuable, they can make a contribution,

and I'll do whatever I can on this side of it, what's okay, to help them do that.

Getting your Ex Girlfriend back with the focus trick - Duration: 3:27.

Getting your ex-girlfriend back with the "focus trick."

This is a small, but really unbelievably powerful trick that can help you to get your ex back.

And it's really perfectly simple.

[0:00:10]

Most men that want to get their exes back focus only on external things: what she's

doing right now, who she's meeting, who she's not meeting.

[0:00:19]

Whether she reacts positively or negatively to certain things.

The point is, they turn their attention outwards because they think they have to start there

in order to get their exes back.

[0:00:29]

But everything around you is always just a reflection of what first of all is happening

inside you, and what's happening in your feelings and in your thoughts.

[0:00:39]

Instead of being in this reactive mode, where you're always trying to analyze your ex's

behavior so that you can find the key to her thoughts – say to yourself "Stop!"

[0:00:47]

Start to examine yourself internally and you'll come across a few surprising things.

[0:00:52]

You'll feel just what kind of effect and what kind of power your ex and other women

have over you.

[0:00:58]

You probably recognize this.

You send a woman a message and she doesn't write back.

And deep inside you feel this mixture - of unbelievable hope that she hasn't seen it

yet or that she's busy … [0:01:12]

...in addition to ever-growing disappointment once you see that you just weren't important

enough to get a response.

[0:01:18]

Pretty much every man has experienced this feeling, and it's really important to realize

here that a woman can't choose to have this power over you, and it's not any kind of

innate property of theirs.

[0:01:28]

The only person that can give a woman this kind of power over you is you yourself.

And once you've given over this power, that means you're the only person who can take

it back.

[0:01:41]

I hope from the bottom of my heart that this video has been enjoyable to you so far.

Please give it a good rating and share it around with other men so it can help them

too.

Also, don't forget to subscribe to this channel so that you don't miss any of the

excellent upcoming videos.

[0:01:56]

So what can you do concretely to change this situation around?

Something I've developed for myself is a sort of radar for bad feelings.

[0:02:04]

As soon as I recognize these negative feelings in myself, I take a minute to stop and reflect.

I start to think about just where these feelings might have come from.

[0:02:12]

I ask myself, "okay, why am I now in a situation where I feel like this?"

And a better and more important question is "what can I do never to end up in a situation

like this again?"

[0:02:25]

This question by itself is really pure gold.

And often in life it just so happens that a particular person – it doesn't have

to be a woman – needs to be absolutely and completely removed from your life.

[0:02:37]

It's also possible that in some specific situation I haven't really expressed my

true thoughts about something, and that's why I ended up in this way.

So I decide right then and straight away to express my thoughts more often and be more

clear with communication.

And that really goes to show that it's a long process, this sort of finding yourself.

It's incredibly important that you devote yourself to it and really work at it little

by little every day.

[0:02:57]

If you constantly do this every time you've got negative feelings, you'll eventually

become so strongly in tune with yourself that you notice your entire environment – not

just women – starts to change in order to better suit you and work more and more in

harmony with you.

[0:03:13]

I really hope you can see how valuable these tips are, in a lifelong sense.

And if you'd like to go even deeper with me and really start to look at some advanced

concepts, then I've got something incredible for you.

7 Foods You Should Start Eating Before Bed - Duration: 2:40.

There are many snacks, meals, and drinks that can lead to poor sleep, especially if you're

consuming them right before bedtime.

From caffeinated beverages to high-fat comfort food, there's no shortage of sleepytime snacking

DON'TS.

So which foods are actually beneficial before you hit the hay?

Bananas

If you simply cannot fall asleep without a bedtime snack, reaching for a banana is a

good bet.

Bananas contain both tryptophan — which you know from your post-turkey dinner naps

— and potassium, which is a lesser-known sleep supporter.

Cherry juice

It's good for you in so many ways, but did you know cherry juice can promote a better

night's sleep?

It's among several foods that can help boost your melatonin, which is a naturally-occurring

hormone that makes you feel sleepy.

Sure, it's also available in the supplement aisle, but why not do double duty, and with

a delicious drink, to boot?

Salmon or tuna

So they may not be what you find yourself reaching for to fill up your tummy right before

you go to bed, but eating salmon or tuna for a late dinner or snack can lead to better

sleep.

These healthy fish contain tryptophan, but they're also high in melatonin-producing vitamin

B6, which is very important when it comes to getting drowsy and sleeping well through

the night.

Leafy greens

Perhaps the best way to set yourself up for sleeping success with your last meal of the

day is by throwing that salmon or tuna onto a bed of leafy greens and making it a salad.

Powerhouse leafy greens like spinach, kale, collard greens and chard, are a good source

of calcium, which your body needs to produce melatonin and send you off to sleepytown.

Sweet potatoes

Need a way to round out your salmon salad and create a fully sleep-promoting meal?

Add a side of sweet potatoes, which not only contain complex carbohydrates, which will

help you sleep better, they also add a dose of potassium.

They're versatile, as well.

Roast them, bake them, make them sweet or savory, the possibilities are deliciously

endless.

Kiwi

According to an April 2017 study, kiwi is another fruit that helps you rest easy at

night.

Researchers in Norway found that eating kiwi about an hour before bedtime led to better

sleep than opting for a pear, which is nutritionally quite different than a kiwi, and thus makes

a good control.

Researchers think this is likely because of kiwi's antioxidant makeup, which includes

serotonin, a chemical known to help you fall asleep faster and sleep better.

Now get some rest.
