Waching daily Mar 29 2018

okay okay okay its loren let me rock the beat what's up you guys it's Lorennnn and I'm back with another video

today was supposed to be a vlog where I went and got my new puppy but

unfortunately the same thing that happened when I went to get angel

happened with smudge >;( for some reason the people that I've gotten my dog's from

they give you a date and then on that day they decide to change the day and

then they keep changing basically I don't have the doggo therefore I don't

have a vlog for you but it's okay 2day I'm gonna do a Q&A and I

haven't done a Q&A since I was probably 13 or 14 and it was it was embarassing

but I want to put a little twist on this one just a little a little a little

twist so I just tweeted and said ask me the weirdest and most uncomfortable

question you can think of hashtag Angels wanna know turning off my ringer so

right now waiting for the questions to come in

let's see Alexis wants to know if you could take back any ex who would it be

none Alexis none we cool down I mean yeah naughtyloren wants to know who's your

daddy I'm you dadddy;) some of these are like rated R

milk first you are actually satan Nina wants to know how long do your periods

usually last and do you have a heavy flow lmao I love you I love you too Nina;)

like I always watch those YouTube videos I'm like oh my god period horror story

like I was wearing white pants and my blood went through and I just can't

relate cuz I've never had that and I want to have that I want to be able to

tell that embarrassing story but I don't have it all right what else I have no

idea how to say this name so I'm just going to put it on the screen

I think it's Brioni I don't know she wants to know why his nails down a

chalkboard so horrible okay I do think nails down a chalkboard is horrible I've

never personally experienced that because my school always had whiteboards

but I scraped my fork on my plate at tender greens the other day and i sat

there like this for like 5 minutes because it just I

don't know what it is ash wants to know have you ever needed butt cream lmao

this is so weird but I love u so much well umm I don't know what butt cream is

or what it would be for but no I've never needed butt cream but now I'm

curious Siri what is butt cream Siri doesn't know butt cream is either

so I'm at a loss Maddie wants to know have you ever said I love you to someone

and not meant it MaDDieE I'd say yes because you know when someone says they

love you and you don't really want to make them feel bad by saying oh thanks I

would know but like boys that I dated when I was in school I don't think I

loved any of them it's cold heartless Emily wants to know who is your celebrity

celebrity crushes but I have a lot of people that I look at and think wow

Urie that's just a few but there's a lot

Daniela wants to know what does your ear look like up close since you asked this

is my ear it's actually I cut it on the inside so scratching my ear and I think

I stabbed it and now I'd like a scab in there that's really painful actually

Johanna wants to know what's the weirdest food combination by the way I

love you I love you too and I have a few weird food combinations that I've

expressed on Twitter that some people didn't agree with I love ham

pineapple on pizza I love ranch on my pizza and on my chicken I love french

fries in my ice cream I like peanut butter on pretty much anything that's

just a few I also put ketchup on pretty much everything I like my condiments

have you ever accidentally stabbed yourself in the eye with an object

I've been shot in the eye with a nerf gun actually I'll see if I can find a

picture of it I'll put it over here somewhere you can see though right oh I

can see barely it was traumatic what's up y'all it's me from the future chillin

on photobooth actually right after I filmed this video I stabbed myself in

the eye with a pillow I'll insert that over here somewhere why does my voice

sound weird today I don't sound like me I don't like it

alright guys I got they ask me how are you able to say that you're fine you're

not really fun you just can't get into it

oh so I think that's all the questions that I'm gonna answer for today if you

guys liked this Q&A let me know and I'll do more because I actually thought it

was kind of fun but i love you guys so much thank you for watching don't forget to

IMPORTANT UPDATE - Duration: 0:44.

HEY

Naoko : Prepare for a ton of infos in your face because we do not have the time to do more than 1 min for this video

BASICALLY

You may have noticed that there is no new videos for about a year on this channel, because of a project that takes much time and money

BUT

We want to come back and do covers again, because we're done with not doing anything on this channel and we want to have sum funz, but we have some questions and need your opinion

BUT BEFORE ALL THAT

We'll give you some updates, what has improved, what's new, what we wanna do and what we're planning to do

Mixing/mastering has been improved since last covers, or so I was told, and I'd like your opinion on it !

What you hear is entirely done by me , except for the drums (Nobu and I changed our recording setup, now being MIDI) The drums are more focused and precise now !

I will become HS's guitar player, until someone can take away this PITA. I don't like playing it, but I'm ready to take responsibility for the covers' sake. Prepare for the 0-f***s-given attitude about it though. LOL

Lineup has changed, with a new member coming soon, and new instruments (more details later), and of course... No singer still.

We'd now like to have your opinions on a few points, comments helping us are appreciated !

1°. Instrumental covers with no video, done only by me, in addition to group instrumental covers with video, would you like these ?

2°. We play VK, J-Rock, etc. Would you like to see more metal/rock genre covers, or any else ?

Ayyy ya know who is who, only Nobu and I are left, and this dude who'll be soon here is taking the rythm guitar slot

AYYY IMMA LEAD GUITAR WUUUUUUUT

Gear wanking corner here for those who only need these info

Let's Play Fire Emblem - The Binding Blade 04 (The Priest of Elimine) - Duration: 1:00:16.

what's up boys and girls RPG fans from everywhere I'm smashin bro ben and

this is my retro series they don't continue my Fire Emblem The Binding

blade series so you're in Chapter five let's do this so we just defeated Lord

Eric in our last chapter this guy's done

we have a little recap here so his home where he grew up is no longer safe got

it heading for sea I really decided to move to the mountains where people

seldom want to avoid unnecessary trouble of course he's gonna go into effect of

it

as usual guys just a quick reminder I'm gonna try to beat this chapter it might

take several tries because I might get my ass kicked

more than likely it'll just be skipping forward to the parts where I've a last

was defeated so it's to make the video a little bit more compact or short bus

guys that went down the village just got back alright some regular bandits

something is different today that's right you better not mess around with us

no he thinks we're remainders of army alright we'll see about that

alright there's this bandit over he has grand ears of greatness

nope that's not gonna happen

I was less taken that village is here to see you master oi

by the way guys in the last chapter I lost all my units unfortunately I got

lost in action but you know what I went ahead and replayed the chapter behind

the screen just to make sure I get them again because I hate losing everybody in

Fire Emblem and these older games there is no option to have them returned after

each combat because that's a old school GPA style Fire Emblem game you lost have

you lost them forever who is this new villager wait just a second ah man I

thought it's gonna be another guy joining the troop some old geezer how

may I help you sir with wish you to defeat the bandits as the pack of

bandits made their base in the old castle near the cliffs alright so we

gotta sort out their problem alright

well does anybody volunteer to help I could use some more troops please help

us master Boyd who must keep our pace towards Ostia pace or no pace now we

gotta help these people out I'm gonna help them thank you sir

alright let's drive out the bandits so it looks like an interlude chapter it

doesn't really add too much to them to the main campaign but it's like it shows

me that these guys will not stand for injustice you know whether it's their

personal business or not let's save this real quick so I don't restart my chapter

with all the dialogue we're gonna go skip right to the action

all right let's appraise the situation guys in previous couple of videos I

mentioned something about terrain how we could use forest tar the advantage out

of the mountains block our paths and knowing what the map looks like oh shit

look there's a lot more there's a village here alright so we can sir

comfort walk around here save the village on the way check out this house

they might give us something there is a fort here trailing alright so that's

what we got to do we might send a couple of people here that might give us

something useful ok let's let's start let's begin how we gonna position our

units alright so this looks like a closed gate is it closed or not yeah

there's a wall here yep so we're gonna go around I'm gonna send my quickest

unit who is my Pegasus rider to check out all the houses she won't be doing

too much battle although she doesn't have too much threat either because we

don't I don't see any archers in a battlefield kuma the Pegasus riders

should definitely be wary off all right let's do this you over here and let's

start seeing where we can take our main forces

alright this guy here since he's the slowest gonna try to move him in alright

also another thing to be worried about is the reinforcements they can come at

any point from any part of the map so I gotta keep my troops compact and close

together to make sure they don't get surrounded ok

alright let's put our heavy headers up front

we got a thief in here he's not that important definitely not enough

forefront of battle okay this is my main hero here Roy

if Roy died it's game over so let's not make that happen Rutger

finally I get to test Walker in battle I was able to recruit him off in a

previous battle excuse me so let's see what kind of damage so far

this is my favorite guy here deaq this guy does not mess around he's always

does some considered damage I definitely want a healer on the field

all right we're looking good to have both of my healers here all right

Oh Thank You Dorothy yes Bishop the old old

oh this guy's a total womanizer there's war looming and these guys like ha

bandits are no bad it's I still got a court the ladies mm-hmm sure buddy

you're offering a helping hand the poor souls in need is the ultimate comfort

don't be ridiculous it's not the princess I just want to help out well

you know what regardless of what his motives are his guys on point he's the

cop we got help all right

let's start dishing out some damage as we've learned from the previous videos

that I made guys the basic triangle of sword with axes axes beat spears and

Spears big swords we're gonna follow the logic here the rules of the game and try

to do damage accordingly alright I definitely want this guy here

what maybe later let's start with some magic attack that wasn't too bad

all right now we'll have a swordsman finishing off the rod cutter

she will waste him probably not I'm sure my boy Roy can do that perform

the task no aw crap maybe not now good

not good at all

not good at all what does he have he does have a sword

alright look this guy here nope maybe him

no here we go this swordsman finish him off

finish him sweet yeah I know he's gonna be another heavy hitter especially

versus ax men yeah he's not to be messed with

okay

iron sword

I did buy some equipment had I check him

I gotta pass some spear or javelin that I've purchased to Marcus because he only

has sword right now not a very ideal situation all right I want to bring my

swords my little closer this guy will go here

equip them with a sword all right

again let's see these guys all this guy can do

damage from distance all right so I gotta watch out I want to heal Roy

alright healing powers yes rejuvenation alright y'all good alright

next what do we do next well this I hate how this guy's always lagging behind

come on pull ass bro once again equipping to the sword and turn

but archer definitely may come in handy here

I do have something do I know I don't

storage

remove ah that's why our stuff is

now we can give it to him God had got a got a god boom so we know this guy's

stacked up on his

all right

crane

let's get another heal from you

all right and let's start checking out the houses maybe they'll give us

something useful

the dragon knights of burden were terrifying all right so there have been

sightings of dragons not not promising at all please tell me was a dream she's

good

there's guys here all right let's see how it's gonna work out nice nice you go

Alan dealing some damage all right who wants some even want some one more one

more oh no he had enough he'll Bend it nope

no Alan is holding his own I'm proud of him

nice damn everybody's attacking him nice

all right this definitely is a favorable position I'm gonna say the guy's just as

a precaution at first I didn't want to save mid-battle but then I realized it's

not really cheating because it takes a long time to position your troops and if

you mess up once then there is no way out of this situation you messed up

anyway you have to restart the chapter so you know since this is a playthrough

and this is one of my first experiments playing these tactical games for a

youtube channel I don't want to overdo it and spend too much time unnecessarily

but at the same time I wanted to be a real challenge you know so I thought it

was a nice compromise so if I get myself in a nutbag tangle then I have to

basically restart the chapter all right

this is how this is gonna work out

the ass is done nope get that my boy Rutger nice

all right now we got to give a chance for to somebody class and Anya is level

2 level 4 level 4 level 2 ok this level 2 dude it can go for it

ouch

yep that's my level two guy

finish him off oh no come on well he's still little dub not bad not

bad at all that's a good trade-off here we're gonna handle your ass over here

well the archer it could be a menace menace to society

nice you don't mess with Marcus he's still alive shit you bastard

all right

can you finish it nice good job Walt see I lost this guy in a previous battle I

said nope I need my archers I need to make sure I

have all the different varieties types of units to do all the propria damage

idea can't make it we can't reach for

like he can yep that's done pretty much that's done good job I love my

long-range unit guys they always come in handy

nope no you don't know you don't and Roy can't go that far has to save the day

hopefully this guy won't

not very accurate

Matt curacy 76 this one has the most accuracy hopefully yep

it happened good good job sir

I'm at a sluggish guy bro come on dude I'm catching up I'll be there shortly

iron Lance

now let's check out this house

remember to always capture therefore that's a good reminder that's actually a

very cool reminder check this out guys so these forts here as I'm gonna be

moving along I'm gonna make sure one of my people stays there was position a

unit there so they're enforcement's don't come you completely forgot about

that see what happens when you don't play for a while you start losing your

edge

our thief seems to be not very important in this battle

nope uh-oh critical sweet my men Alan is pulling

serious later in this battle sweet I got to make sure I put him up front next

time and he's level five now nice make me proud

no you don't are you insane versus a sword master that's not gonna

happen

uh-oh archers those are dangerous oh no oh no that's stupid yeah that was really

dumb buddy that's not something you do yep I'm

still in good shape except for this guy which I'm sure I'll be able to rescue

let's save again real quick it was such a cheat I don't care ooh such a cheater

dude

I don't intend to losing this battle anyway so yeah what's up dude what's

really good bro first of all let me see

yeah he needs to upgrade his sword

one more and we done ah still alive well he's a mounted

Archer so not a big surprise there all right these two guys I should be able to

dispatch but I definitely first want to heal my home slice here heal not bad not

bad Thank You Clary

the others guy can be a nuisance and I can't reach him

now it's moved up theif out of the way kill this guy real quick I'm gonna send

him into battle he needs to level up

holy crap this guy could take a spear be like huh

but I'm gonna forest finish the job

nice Rock girl leveled up oh he's quite strong now

all right let's see what we can see here

let's see what we can see here how we're gonna position our units

he needs healing too by the way all right he might stay back a little bit

I'm definitely not gonna put up a up front let me put my heavy hitter guys in

the front yep they're both sufficiently healed I can build a wall with them here

make sure this Archer doesn't get to all the essential units and the SAS also

needs to drag his ass you know I'll help I'll help someday all right let's trade

storage we need some healing potions and we're gonna give this guy the magic book

one more it's always good to have extra

yep let's not risk oi

most Korea's just one Archer what can he do

nope Marcus is pulling all the tension

towards him oh shit that wasn't good I gotta watch out

yep we're still good not what did I do sorry sorry guys was a mistake mistake

alright visit

alright so she's warning us the bandits can cross mile the soul can die I'm a

Pegasus rider all right let's start rocking these dudes

how about that you like that

how about this

aw crap

not good

not good at all one more yep oh damn it's he's still alive

all right you should finish off this Archer you will held our mage tackle

hunger nice the major levels up okay

all right who needs healing she definitely does

how about on this side yep he needs healing

thank you boom done all right so so far so good

his slowpoke ass is still here

let's see if that works oh my god are you serious

are you kidding me

hold on you Oh a spear ah this is something I can do and give Marcus

definitely Marcus to use that nope

alright let's regroup with our homeboys here alright

all right split our thief in this shop oh I can definitely use some door keys

thank you I'll take that all right I think this is a good spot to save as

well I made some pretty dope progress I'm the imagining is gonna take another

15 to 20 minutes to beat the stage but we're making pretty good progress here

all right I want to give the spear that clarin has recovered to Marcus but

before she can travel there I got to make sure the coast is clear

I got a dispatch all of these assholes here and you finally gonna join the fray

finally do some damage Thank You Boris Thank You More any almost levelled up

see how promising all right I want Spears here I need some spear man

Oh be kidding

that didn't work you know this guy just dodged my shake he's like uh-uh no you

don't I can you deal with that can you work with this right here with my boy

deaq boom look one hit I told you this is my

boy right here thank you dear rock them

all right let's bring this guy back a little bit sometimes I do that put him

back let's not risk his life unnecessarily Elam and I he can rejoin

the group

all right I hope you can use it

nice

he certainly can

nice well no she's better here in this little terrain area which is the forest

she has plus money avoiding attacks so and who else can we do

yeah let's let's go for this guy he's just standing he's looking walking at

least like he's asking for it you know what can I do

let's test this spear and battle nice

nice

mmm-hmm so this guy has a reach too so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna

strategically position a couple of troops in the forest areas

bring this guy here my man Roy

bring the Envoy oh crap he still got me look at that he's just dodging like I

dodged it

let's guys thinks he's slick just please don't please don't please don't

it's it's you guys don't learn the lesson nobody messes with Markus okay

if this doesn't happen all right so my thief Chad since he's kind of

useless here there are no chests to open what I'm gonna do is I'll probably

position him here that's that will be his vault

okay he's level seven this guy's level four guess what he's gonna be doing it's

gonna be attacking this dork here oh my god mist holy crap

be useless so slow

this guy dude

all right new people are just asking for it you're asking to get you ass rocked

I'm getting pissed here

that was sort of a mistake some other unit could have finished them off I

should have used Marcus on a completely healthy unit a little oversight on my

end

take your ass down thank you for never letting me down thank you

okay that's finished

well before we do that

before we do that

not too bad not too bad nothing to write home about but oh yes critical Thank You

Rutger

some love so far everybody's alive and healthy

so you see guys how that all that forest terrain makes my units move really

slowly but you know at the same time I get a good cover so it's a good

trade-off oh ouch that hurt that definitely hurt

all right started running for that Ford

oh wow look at that I can reach them Oh first let's use my trusty Pegasus Knight

and attack this guy let's see what comes out of it oh so she can catch him she's

fast with that spear okay can you finish with more boards no you can't you tried

and you dodged the crap out of it and you leveled up okay that works as

long as my units are leveling up nothing else matters

yeah let's get experience boom alright so this guy wants to Manus us he's like

I'm here by the way you what's up bro so I'm gonna protect

that little flank over there

put my main ass-kickers up front well this ass-kicker can wait a little

bit because he's done enough

with this ass-kicker here

oh yes yes d ik the horse killer the manslaughterer anyone need healing nope

so oh shit this guy needs healing fuck got all about him

can I get to him nope

I hope he survives shit huh you survived

crap we have a mage in there ah how fortunate Marcus will be dealing with

this guy

alright guys I definitely want to save here but what did I do

I definitely want to save here that's that's been quite a campaign so far all

right these two definitely need healing

what's really good asshole all critical hoist got him

I see I gotta make a noise for it it's just so so dope

boom well we got a little wizard here word word a little wizard here word bro

no damage boom into oblivion you go

all right let's start healing my troops

you guys have done a lot so I'm gonna make sure you survive

boom ah she's a much better healer

don't want to risk it no I don't I'll wait for him to come put this guy here

oh look look who's finally joining the battle nope too fast for you

I believe I do have a spear for him in my inventory let's look at our storage

yes I do

all right and now you can finish it off break it

home bro bring it home Thank You Boris thank you sir

protect my mage

yep I think I'm good where I'm at Oh

word one more I'm surprised at this point you guys just don't get it yeah

don't get it all right let's sit here here for a second see I would have

walked up to you and just kicked your ass but just I can't make it there

I can still attack you

No both equally skilled ax men

so yeah you were saying something bro

were you saying something critical I gotta say this is probably my favorite

critical like charging horse paladin with the sword just got him and you're

welcome to try buddy you'll welcome to try

this attempt it's not as big cautious here let's surround this guy but not

tangle with him just yet oh oh somebody needs healing I forgot

now he can move forward a little bit

10 to the 10 10

that's all anticipation to this guy that's banded I let's end it here no one

yet has ever stayed standing after taking one of my blows oh you you

messing with the Boris right here oh shit

Oh Boris is not a good choice all right let's get Boris out of that danger let's

say it one more time we're approaching the end okay

what's gonna happen here you know what's gonna happen

borås the blade will get out of the freakin way

all of these guys will get out of the way

I need my swordsman I'll bring this healer here might as well heal him

get some experience for it here we go Boris you did well you did well you got

far now let's start taking care of this guy here man he's dodging all my stuff

damnit so nothing

all right shall we nope we shall not we don't have our

healer enabled in this term so I'm not gonna risk it all right now that my

units are better positioned now we can think about ending this battle then this

guy's dodges hell he's like uh uh can't get me look at that look at that crap

what is this

ya better rest can Jesus this guy freakin does not give up look at that

and the second try or finally and even then

nope I gotta bring him off the mountain I got a learn him out

that's not working all right let's start watching this guy here we'll start

working on you with a little magic spell here boom and you're not doing anything

sorry not to this magician so we have two badasses here one is level seven one

is level six

yeah I think he can handle it

yep he got it

I don't know what I'm doing dad it doesn't matter anymore

oh you'll asshole nope

see there we go there we go the reinforcements came

that's what I was doing it my instinct was right I had to cover that angle oh

you came out how sweet you came out to play and guess who's gonna go after you

spring the package out of this guy's path

geez still nothing yo this guy's proving out to be the

toughest opponent he's like uh uh you know release Roy here uh what the hell

I'm gonna try ouch that was not a good try

let's rescue her and we're level three here yep we're taking the the experience

from this guy he needs it he's shaping up to be want power for me yeah yeah I

don't want to die yet well too bad oh yes that was good all right now now

on to the good stuff

nice good job good job sir it's the level three yeah that's gonna end it

love your work in this battle Allen nothing but good stuff from you

yep I knew it I knew it oof that was scarier there let's not

risk it that's not risk it let's go for broke

one more nope how you like them apples and diac levels

up by given his portrait is so sick love this guy all right it's time to finish

this and conquer all right let's talk to the priest maybe he's a spy how does he

know princess

masterboy it's a pleasure to finally meet you

salt hey better coal soul is gonna solve all our problems

you must be princess guna fairy so beautiful as the rumors it tell this guy

swinging over your highness oh alright so here's some legitimate motives here

like I'm looking for the fire had woman don't you have it with you he might be a

spy this guy's is this like a well-meaning guy

so he did some homework just some spying around he knows she has the fire emblem

why did you take it I wish to stop my brother yeah her brother is irredeemable

he's freaking Darth Vader of Fire Emblem games

yep it's a access key to the holy sword that slays dragons

must I answer at the moment alright so she has a plan how to use it she still

wants peaceful resolution I think he's gonna tag along like you

know what let me see where this goes to where the wind blows and I'll make

Schultz always stay by her side in case I need to get the fire emblem back yep

as I suspected wow that was definitely a cool chapter good story going on here as

I thought it was gonna be just a side mission just helping out locals with

their bandit problems but story of wolves here in continue so far so good

I'm loving this game just like I expected that would if you guys enjoyed

this video along with me please subscribe to our channels and follow us

F Blues Guitar Survival Kit - What You Need to know - Duration: 8:58.

(jazz guitar music)

- Hi everybody, my name is Jens Larsen.

This video is going to go over

the basic things, that you need to check out,

if you wanna play a jazz blues in the key of F.

So I'm gonna do this in four choruses,

the first chorus is just gonna be some chord voicings,

so that you can play through the blues comping it

and you can hear what the harmony sounds like.

The second chorus is going to be arpeggios of those chords,

so that you have somewhere to start,

when you're soloing and once you can play,

soloing with arpeggios and follow the harmony,

then you can add some more notes

by using some of the scale exercises,

I'm covering that in the third chorus

and the fourth chorus

is just the transcription of me improvising a solo,

using the material that I went over.

If you wanna learn more about jazz guitar,

about improvising over chord changes,

checking out some interesting arpeggios or scales,

then subscribe to my channel.

If you wanna make sure not to miss anything,

then click the little bell notification icon.

Let's first have a look at the chord voicings,

so that we can come through a 12-Bar Blues.

What you may notice here

if you're a little bit familiar with jazz voicings,

is that I'm riding F7 and actually the voicing

that I'm playing is an F7 with a nine

and the reason why I do that,

is because when we are thinking about the blues,

you can actually add the colors and the extensions

sort of to your own taste, when you're comping,

so I may play F7 with a nine,

or I may play an F7 or I might play an F7 with a 13,

that's not really something that you can tell

and it's not going to be written in the score,

because that's up to how whoever's playing the chords

is going to interpret that chord symbol,

so for that reason,

I'm just providing the simple, basic chord

and then I'm choosing to interpret

with a nine in this exercise.

The next thing we need is some material,

that we can use, when we're soloing over the 12-Bar Blues

and if you're playing a genre of music like jazz,

where it's really useful

to follow the changes, when you're soloing,

then one of the things you wanna check out

is the arpeggios of all the chords in the progression.

So that's what I'm gonna go over here in this chorus

and of course, I put it into a chorus,

so I'm just changing arpeggio once every bar,

I'm not starting on the root of each of the arpeggios

and the reason why I'm not doing that

is because I wanna sort of cover

the same area of the neck with all the arpeggios

so that you have different options

and that you can easily move from one arpeggio to the next.

I'm starting on the C with the F7 here,

so my F7 arpeggio starts on C

and doesn't get an F until the third note,

but that's because,

if I have to connect to the low B flat in the next arpeggio,

then it's a good idea to just have the C close by,

because otherwise you get this skip

and that's not really gonna make for a nice melody,

so for that reason I kept the arpeggios

sort of in the same range,

but not necessarily starting on the root.

A good exercise for both checking out the scales

and also connecting them to the form

is to play them as a one-octave scale exercise,

in this case, that means that I'm playing them

from the root until the seventh

and then I can play for the F7, this scale, so,

and then I can just move that around

and do the same thing for the B flat seven, so,

and this is an exercise,

that you may or may not know already

as something that Barry Harris uses a lot,

when he's teaching the scales,

that go with the chorus over a standard,

so this way of approaching the blues is really useful

just the idea about what all the scales sound like

and you're also still really connecting to the chords,

when you play it like this.

So that exercise sounds like this.

For these scales, I think the choices of scale

are pretty obvious most of the time,

because for the dominant chords,

so it's really, it's an F7,

now F7 is the dominant in B flat major,

so if the scale that you wanna use in this F7

is in fact the B flat major scale,

but because we're playing it from over an F7,

I'm just playing it from F here

and that's what also fits the chord.

You can also tell that it really spells out

the arpeggio of the chord on the beat,

when I do it like this, because

the only two scales that maybe need

a little bit of an explanation is,

well, in the first case, we got to B flat seven,

that's the same, B diminished,

so the scale I'm using here

is really just using the same scale

as what I'm using on the B flat seven,

except that I take the B flat and move it up to a B,

so that would be first we have for the B flat seven

and then for the B diminished

and the scale I'm really using for this B diminished

is then the C Harmonic minor scale,

so

like this and also for the D7,

so I have a D7 with a flat 13 up here,

because as the D7 is resolving to the G minors,

or to a minor chord, then I wanna use a minor scale on it

and I'm using G Harmonic minor,

while I'm of course playing it from the D,

so that's this scale

and that's also what you would call Phrygian major

or Mixolydian flat nine for flat 13.

That was a chorus of me, soloing,

using the materials that I went over in this video

and as you can tell, you can easily play

a pretty good jazz solo just using the basic material here,

in fact, I think you'll find

that if you start analyzing solos,

then the really great solos are mostly done

with the really basic things,

it's not really about using all the hip scales

and the strange extensions,

it's really more about just playing some solid lines

with the basic material, that's already there

and I think almost any solo transcription,

that you're gonna come across will tell you the same thing.

So you wanna work on it, if you wanna work on soloing

and on jazz blues, then it's a good idea

to really just start with the basic things

and start with maybe trying to improvise

just with the arpeggios

and then adding the rest of the scale around it,

because then you have sort of the arpeggio

and then the Diatonic leading notes around it

and that's a very solid way to create lines

and to hear melody and also for you

to really get the sound of the changes into your ear

and that's gonna help you play better solos in the long run.

It's just the way that you are also

approaching a progression like the 12-Bar Blues,

so really digging into the arpeggios and the scales

or do you have another approach,

so you're working with maybe Pentatonic scales

or do you have another great exercise,

if you do, then leave a comment,

I know I'm really curious and I'm pretty sure

that if somebody is watching this video,

then they're also interested in what you have to share

DAY 79 OF MY JUICE FAST YOU CAN DO A JUICE FAST AND STILL EAT HOW TO MY JUICE FASTING WEIGHT LOSS - Duration: 4:51.

okay guys I talked about this a lot in a few of my videos but I just want to keep

you know reminding you guys that you do not have to be on liquid juice fast like

myself you still can be on a fast and replace one or two meals and then if you

feel comfortable once you replace one or two meals you can replace the third meal

with the juice and then do a 2 to 20 I mean not a 2 a 2 week to 21-day fast and

you still can lose weight if you never move yourself up to replacing all your

meals with a juice by replacing one or two meals you're still on a weekly basis

can lose start to lose weight people have this misconception that they have

to eat will drink solely liquids in order to lose weight and that is not the

case at all you do not have to just drink straight liquids but I do

recommend if you're going to go on a juice fast that you eat clean and when

I'm what I mean by cleaned is stay away from a lot of cooked foods and on a

juice fast I would recommend if you feel as though you need to have solid foods

it would be stuff like salads and you have you know so you wouldn't be bored

with the same salad you'd probably want to make like different types of salads

with different type of leafy greens and vegetables in it so you don't get bored

because if you're doing a 14 to 21 day fast you will find quickly than even

your favorite salad eating that every day just to have something in your

system well just to feel like you're chewing

something can get boring doing something day in day out

can sometimes make people quit the whole process so you want to be able to go to

the grocery store and really map out and you really want to map out what it is

that you like in a salad and how you can change it up everyday because if you're

gonna do a 14 to 21 day fast after you work your way up by doing a prep which

is taking one or two meals away and juice that's considered a prep and while

you're prepping like I said before you can still lose weight but if you work

your way up to removing the solid foods and you do like a 14 to 21 day fast you

might want to so that you can stay on the juice fast longer incorporate one

meal and I think that if you do incorporate one meal you should eat

stuff like raw fruits and vegetables and like I said again make sure that those

salads are not boring make sure that you make that salad like it's the end of

your life because sometimes when we stop eating the same sorts of foods day in

day out then you get bored with it and then you end up don't not staying on the

regimen so it's very very crucial to make sure that you plan out different

salads that you can make for each day of the week get creative looking at YouTube

videos for ideas on different salads and clean foods that you can eat while on a

juice fast and you should have a successful juice fast

so please do not listen to people telling you that in order to be on a

juice fast that you have to be drinking just juice that is not the truth it's

far from the truth and it's holding a lot of people back from doing a juice

fast because of the fear of them not being able to eat solid foods so I don't

want to stay too long on the video I hope that I answered everyone's question

that was concerned about this please subscribe to the channel like and share

the video and give this video a thumbs up I'll see you in the next video guys

4 Leadership Training Hacks You Won't Learn In School│Organizational Behavior Manaagement - Duration: 11:19.

It's on baby!

East Coast

meets West Coast ABA.

Raphazelli the Raphter Sweet T

I think we all know this what's really interesting is when people self monitor

and know they have to report out the information it's such an SD for them to

be more likely to engage in that behavior the fact that they have to self

monitor and and report it out so I I feel like high level of peak performance

is due to professionals learning to have self control and saying no to this and

doing this and having a discipline and I ended up coming up like we sat around

the office one day we try to come up with a a behavioral definition for self

control and we came up with this daily actions that forego small immediate

reinforces to access larger remote ones because every social problem we have is

because we don't self monitor our behavior in other words the immediate

consequence that's small and certain is right in front of us like a piece of

cake but the diabetes being overweight heart condition is 10 years later so how

do we bring those remote consequences closer and part of us do graphic

feedback small goals and so forth so I know that self monitoring is very

important also for you to be able to be a professional so I know every single

day because I work 16-hour days when I have my daughter and with Emma Marlene

and the kids I'm all in I turn it off but the other days 16 hours straight and

all I'm doing is the Premack principle I hate payroll but I love LinkedIn I'm

back and forth all day with self control like that's that's a discipline that I

think is needed as an entrepreneur so then I'm going to jump to this what's

also important is that your executives of each department when they're

collecting their own data and they're managing it and then if it they should

be charting of the data not just learner behavior they should be charting their

their engagement their different key performance indicators of their company

and should it should be reviewed by your executive team so each executive every

Monday at noon they know they're called to the carpet to report out their

numbers report out quality stakeholder information and so forth just an example

of one of the couple funding sources one person that's a director of this this

program has to report it out and the data itself is either reinforcing or

it's very unpleasant depending on the trend we just don't say a word sometimes

in the executive meeting it's like crickets and afterwards the person

saying you have any suggestions and we we work through it but it's never meant

to embarrass people in any way and time management coaching is important so

investing in your employees with with good time management strategies is

critical and making sure of going back to the interval thing making sure that

you set very frequent intervals for them to so I this is actually from my last

presentation this is what happened to me I literally scheduled it so that I would

do a little bit every day for three weeks prior to the presentation in

Kentucky but then this is what really happened because it's a fixed interval

schedule but I do understand that frequent fixed interval schedules or

difficult or something that will prove better rates or responding important or

important so make sure whoever you're mentoring and coaching you're setting

some artificial contrived deadlines for them to engage in behaviors they don't

want to using the Premack principle and frequent steady responding and number

six is the whole coaching and mentoring it's so important that and what we do is

I feel that it's strong it's strongly it's relevant for employees to have two

types of mentors one that takes them under their wing and monitors their

career and then one that's more of a short-term mentor that helps them work

on brand new cases and clinical issues and so forth so if you can build that

into your system and that the mentors the mentor every day should be evaluated

on their their performance every week instead of annually which we'll get into

in a second we're fortunate that we hired the one guy from Bank of America

that that's all he does is create algorithms again if you can have peak

performance produce a margin you can use some of those funds to push the science

further so what we're able to do is hire the guy from Bank of America Easton

Scholes we call him our secret weapon all he does all day is crunch numbers

export things if it's if it's excel he does it so Google analytic forms come in

with surveys and stakeholders he exports them and then gets them feedback within

a week this is an example anyone ever have the problem where people raise your

hand if people sometimes don't fulfill their authorized hours or they go over

hours and it hurts your bottom line so you know it's important to get someone

on board that can set up systems that basically his system here shows us what

we're gonna lose money we're going to lose money if we end up here we're gonna

if we end up in the sweet spot we're gonna we're gonna have to serve the

learner with the authorized hours and we're also gonna have not lost money and

we didn't go over the hours stopped annual performance reviews I don't want

to bore you with this but all Bray Daniel speaks about this quite

frequently I don't they violate all the principles annual performance reviews

should be replaced with weekly feedback so what we do is using either Google

Forms or Google or Survey Monkey you can literally we we haven't by phone people

can do a one-minute survey of their satisfaction and they evaluate their

mentor which is that actually important so once one click of the button if you

do this right you can get your finger on the pulse of the whole organization of

success and number five make sure you have face to face meetings which are

critical with your staff we're doing too much by eating now so coaching and

feedback sometimes that that unpleasant moment has to be done in person the

other thing I tell people is I'm like look I know it's very hard to deliver

undesirable feedback but I tell people I look them in the eyes and say look this

what I'm about to tell you face to face it's way different than over the phone

and email what I'm about to tell you all I know is it's in it's genuinely to make

you better professional because I have no bureaucracy here where I don't have

to report to State HR necessarily I don't have my boss telling me to do it

this is because I just want you to be great and you look them in the eyes and

that feedback is so much better delivered it's genuine

and number six within coaching and feedback do not stack your organization

with multiple levels all does is her communication flatten out your

organization and then pay your employees as much as you can and take out the

multiple levels there's an agency not far from ours in New Jersey and one in

eastern Pennsylvania to that every year I see the same thing they hire their

friends they hire their friends they create assistant director director

assistant director you know executive director and then I have financial

problems and they have communication problems where the people in the front

line don't know it's they don't they're disconnected from the executives they

have they have financial turmoil and then it collapses they fire them all

then they start over seven years later hire one hire two then so keep your

organization flat and don't micromanage the smart people and number seven which

is less pay for performance which I'll read Anna's talks a lot about if you can

tie everything to your pay for performance and not make everyone salary

if you can give them a low salary however give them the key performance

indicators that produce peak performance based on those individual departmental

and organizational goals you're gonna see discretionary effort and think about

it salaries waste time they're built they're built for poor responding and no

matter how much someone says to you look I would do it anyway yeah they would at

that moment but as time passes in real life hits and there's family crises they

need the money and they need to do it and maintain it maintain it a long run

financially so here's the other thing salary produces it's like the dead man's

test so like look you see security cards falling asleep all day because there's

no active responding they're paid to clock in look at a blank screen and then

clock out unless they have a good mechanism in place so what we do are

people that do have a low salary we embed errors in their work so if

somebody's doing billing we make it fun though like literally I don't know if

they find a clock they're given $100 every time they catch

a bonus that we contrived and we engineered and we embedded it into the

invoice because some of the jobs have to be salaried and every time they catch

the the contrived error they they get 100 hours and they spin like a wheel

it's really cool so make it you can make these jobs that have low that are very

boring and you can make them fun and it reinforces efficiency so the revenue

sharing is one of the most important things that I could suggest I say

revenue sharing and I don't do profit sharing and the reason for that is it's

a single member LLC and out like people picking at my expenses because with net

profit being what people are gonna look at they're gonna say why limos

so we just do revenue sharing and it's graphed and it's charted and they know

where they were all along and then lastly make sure it's salient graphic

feedback is critical so to summarize the seven key points branding a good

selection mechanism to hire the cream of the crop

say no be selective about the clients if you can because one two and three

they're all in a circle bleed length your brand means you can be selective

and it it just continues to give you opportunities number four goal-setting

five self-monitoring coaching and feedback and performance pay so I want

to leave you with this quote because I've failed a lot including the limos

that break down all the time yeah I really love this quote by BF Skinner

failure is not always a mistake it may simply be the best one can do under the

circumstances the real mistake is to stop trying ladies and gentlemen thanks

a lot

you gotta be ready for good Latinos about party

sweetie

How Chvrches Beat The Odds - Duration: 5:45.

Conventions in the music state, like, three oddballs at

different stages in their lives,

it's not really a band that you can make work on a global

level. There was a magazine in the UK that, like, going to

leave these guys out because they're

not the correct age for indie rock in the UK. I'm like "shut

up."

When people take a look at our band, they see that we

would be unafraid to do whatever

we wanted.

For anyone in any town, it's one in a million you think it's

going to happen, but from where

we come there's not a lot of bands that get out of

Glasgow, let alone the UK.

Glasgow is a tough city with a strong working class

ethic.

In Glasgow, there's this real culture that if you show

ambition that that's somehow a

negative thing to do musically.

They want to disguise melody behind guitars.

They want to disguise it behind time signatures because

ultimately they're afraid of being

judged.

So what the format of conversations we had when we

started the band was that we would

be unafraid to do whatever we wanted.

This is a very unique artist.

They do use synthesizers, yet they use guitars.

They are opinionated and focused and they're rock and

roll.

So, they're in their own lane.

On one hand, you know, people see us being, like, in a

synth-pop band.

We write kind of catchy hooks and we have synthesizers,

but on the other hand, we feel

very much like an indie band.

That's where we all come from.

I guess, we live in both and neither worlds, in a way.

It was really, actually, very easy once they all met

one another.

The first song that we put online was "Lies."

Honestly, I think we wrote that song in, actually, 10

minutes. I'm not even kidding.

Lizzy Plapinger, who's the singer in the band MS MR, she

had a blog and a record

company called Neon Gold.

I played it for her and she loved it and she said, "Can I

play this on my blog?" and I

was just like, "Yeah, I think so, but we're just getting

some stuff together.

We don't have a photograph of the band."

We didn't have anything and she's like, "I'll just put it up,"

and I was like, "Sure."

We had Twitter on the phones at the time and it was like

bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing,

bing, bing, bing and everyone's, like, looking at my phone

in the van, like, "What the hell's

going on?"

Every record label, every promoter, every agent,

every publisher was kicking our doors

down because it was just that perfect moment.

We took ages to choose who to work with and the

bottom line all the time was, "Are they

going to try and [BLEEP] with what it is?"

Like in the early, early days before we signed, there was,

like, 800 guys that would come

to the show and be like, "We can make you the new blah,

blah, blah," but then what was

in the gap was just something that was not, like, what

we would ever want to do.

So we were like, "Okay, cool.

So, cross you off the list because that's going to be a

nightmare."

I was in Kansas City with Lauren when she was being

harassed online.

Threats of rape.

Threats of murder, you know, that shouldn't be allowed

on any forum whether it's in your

life or online.

I got to see some of the texts or tweets towards her and

they were awful.

You get, like, very aggressive violent ones

from certain parts of the internet and then

there's, like, you know, smaller, micro-aggression, like,

misogynist assumptions about things

and it's all part of the same culture, I think.

The amount of people, male and female, "Just stop

complaining. You're a pop star.

What's your problem?"

It's not isolated.

Like, it's present in all work places.

It's present when you're walking down the street.

It's just the approach to women or the assumption that

anything I was doing was for the consumption

of somebody else.

It just felt like it would be disingenuous to not comment

on it.

When she spoke out about that in 2013, she wrote an op-

ed for The Guardian newspaper,

which is, like, a very respected publication in the UK –

That's a very brave person to do that.

This was before it was a "me too" movement.

I don't think I would've dealt with being in the band very

well if we had to just kind

of put up and shut up.

This is the first time we've ever packed up from

rehearsal and, like, walked out the door

just like that.

You've changed, man.

The way that we're going to perform today is not...we

usually like synthesizers and

drum machines and electronic things, you know, quite a

bombastic sound, but this as stripped

down as we've ever done, you know, piano, guitar and

vocal really.

It's a little bit risky.

I just really love the idea of there being nowhere to hide.

Can these songs standup?

Will the energy of the band still be there when there's not

synthesizers on synthesizers

on synthesizers, you know?

If you throw something out in the room and people

respond to it in a really positive

way, it feels like that's enough.

When you have the focus, the drive, the intelligence that

they have, you probably go all the way.

The Scott Brothers: You can help Habitat - Duration: 0:52.

Jonathan: It's a whole different experience once you've

been on a build and you see the energy of the volunteers.

You see the homeowner and their excitement.

If I could recommend to anybody just even

if you could volunteer for a couple hours and go and check it out, I guarantee you that

you'll become a volunteer for life.

Drew: You know in my mind, in my heart, every single

volunteer that comes out to help with these houses they're all Habitat humanitarians because

they're doing such amazing things for other families out there.

Drew: They're actually, all these volunteers, they're

coming and they're helping people that they don't even know.

And I think that's amazing to actually be able to give someone your time and help them

build a home for their family. That's amazing.

Jonathan: You don't have to be a licensed contractor or an electrician.

You don't have to be any of that.

You can show up and just be a regular Joe and it helps, I mean every pair of hands helps.
