Waching daily May 1 2018

Sunny Lenarduzzi: You want to get 39,000 comments on your next YouTube video?

Keep watching.

Welcome to the Sunny Show.

Did I hook you?

Hey, boss.

It's Sunny Lenarduzzi, and now, this is step one to writing a script that gets high engagement.

When you get high engagement on YouTube, you get more retention, which means you're going

to get higher rankings and more views to suggested and through search.

How do you write a whole script that's going to give you massive amounts of engagement?

We're going to talk about that today.

I'm going to take you step-by-step through it.

Step number one is the hot intro, so hook, outcome, testimonial.

That's what the hot intro stands for.

Hook is obviously getting the viewers' attention right off the bat to make them want to stay

tuned in.

Outcome is telling them exactly what they're going to get out of your video by the end

of watching it, again, making them want to stay tuned in to the whole thing, and testimonial

is if you are an entrepreneur or you are some sort of expert of any kind, giving people

a reason to believe you and trust you, i.e., I've worked with thousands of people in the

fitness space or in the YouTube space, something like that, some sort of testimonial.

That's hook, outcome, testimonial, the whole hot intro, but if you were just starting,

and you don't want to deal with the outcome and testimonial pieces, just make sure you

don't miss the hook because the hook is what's going to get your viewers' attention immediately

and make them want to watch your entire video.

The hook is vital.

Let's say I'm doing a vlog on traveling around Canada.

I'm going to hook my viewers by doing something like this.

Video: Oh, my God.

Did you just see that whale?

SunnyLenarduzzi: Really, the easiest way to do this is either by starting off with something

that's going to make them go, "Oh, my gosh, I have to watch this," kind of what I did

at the beginning of this video or starting with the most exciting piece of footage and

working backwards to tell the story of how you got to that moment because then, people

know something really exciting is coming and you're going to lead them all the way back

there by the end of the video.

Makes sense?

Cool.

Step number two of writing a high engagement script for YouTube is asking for what you

want.

You want people to subscribe, and you also want people to hit the little bell to be notified

when you go live when you post new videos, whatever else it might be.

You want to build your tribe.

The only way to do that is to remember that not everybody uses YouTube on a daily basis

so you got to tell them what to do, so at the beginning of your video after you've hooked

people, ask them to subscribe to your channel.

Step number three is the meat.

Think of it as a sandwich.

If a sandwich was just two pieces of bread, it's pretty boring, so the meat is really

important, and you want to get into it as quickly as possible.

Whether it's a blog and you get into the storytelling piece of it or it's a tutorial and you get

into the sequential steps, the meat matters, and the sooner that you can get into the meat

of your video, the more people are going to be engaged in your content and wanting to

watch all the way through.

Step number four is middle engagement, so keep your questions simple because again,

not everybody uses YouTube every single day.

You need to warm people up.

You get them over that hump of actually leaving a comment on YouTube.

What I like to do and how I rack up thousands of comments on my videos, I ask something

really simple.

For example, in this video I'm going to ask you right now, is the scripting process making

sense?

If it is, write boss in the comments below.

I know a few of you are going to go do that, which thank you for doing it, and if you've

written boss, then it makes me more comfortable to write more comments throughout the entire

video.

You've asked them to subscribe at the beginning, that's one piece of engagement.

Then, you're asking them a question in the middle to keep them drawn into you and keep

them engaged in your content.

Plus, up your engagement by getting more comments on your videos, so if you're craving comments,

this is a simple thing to do in your scripts to make sure that people are actually going

to comment on your content.

Step five is your outro engagement.

You want to make sure that before people leave their video, they are engaging with you.

There's a couple of things that you can do.

One, you want to ask them to like it if they liked it, dislike it if they didn't because

a dislike is still a piece of engagement, and it gets people interacting with your content

and probably coming back for more.

Ask them to subscribe once more if they enjoyed the content, and tell them there's a new content

coming up so they have something to look forward to.

Ask them to share it with someone that you know it would be beneficial to.

Another way to increase your engagement through your script is to ask a question, and then

include that question in the cards in your video.

Right now, we're going to add a card that says, "Are you going to use the scripting

formula?

Yes or no?"

Again, this isn't a monologue.

Boring YouTube videos are people talking at you.

Great YouTube videos with super high engagement have scripts that engage you and make you

feel like you're having a conversation and a dialogue.

Step number six, ask your viewers out.

Might sound a little forward, but it works.

You want to ask your viewers to join you somewhere else because what happens is someone finds

your video on YouTube, they think it's really entertaining, they think it's really great

obviously because you're great, but then, they forget about you.

There's too much content online, so what you need to do is make sure that you're sending

them somewhere where you can further build a relationship.

Of course, you're going to chat back with them in the comments, but also send them to

a Facebook group, to your email list, to your website, to your other social platforms, and

build those using YouTube.

Please just don't forget to send them somewhere because your viewers want to follow you and

build a relationship with you.

Step one is you need to take the first step, and ask them out.

If you're serious about killing it on YouTube, don't forget to grab my zero to a hundred

thousand subscribers guide.

I walk you through and reverse-engineer how one of my clients went from zero to … She's

actually now at 200,000 subscribers in less than 10 months.

Everything you need to know is in there.

You can grab it at the link below this video, and I know it's going to help you so much.

Did this video help you?

Are you going to use the scripting process?

Let me know in the comments below.

I can't wait to chat with you there after the video, and I will see you in the next

one.

Share it with your fellow bosses, and be sure to subscribe.

Bye, boss.

A.I. Is Coming to Get You. How Long Do You Have? - Duration: 15:15.

DARYN: Am I the only one worried about super-smart robots

turning on humankind and killing us all?

Because I can't shake the feeling

that once these self-taught AI bots

realize they don't need us anymore,

they're just gonna plug us into the Matrix

and make battery juice out of us.

Like that movie from the '90s...

"Shazam," starring Sinbad. Great movie.

And remember the video of the back-flipping robot?

Here's what tech nerd Elon Musk had to say

when he saw that video.

He tweeted, "This is nothing.

"In a few years, that bot will move so fast,

"we're gonna need a strobe light to see it.

"Sweet dreams..."

Now, Elon Musk loves tech,

and if he's scared, I'm scared.

We are so close to a future of robotic armies,

and automated everything,

and the morality of owning a self-aware sex robot.

And for the record, I'm anti-owning-a-sex-robot.

I did it once with my Roomba, and I regret it.

I'm out.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not totally anti-AI.

Like, there are things I can't wait for.

Take the driverless car.

I can't wait for that!

Why?

Because most of you watching this are terrible drivers.

And I know you're out there saying, [mumbling]...

"I'm a good driver!"

No, you suck!

I've been behind you in the left turn lane.

Get in the intersection!

There's a whole line of us who want to get through.

What are you...

Oh, now it's red. Thank you, thanks a lot.

See the difference is, computers don't see a cute dog

on the sidewalk and then wrap their Mini Coopers

around a hydro pole.

You do! Who do you trust more?

A computer that can park to within an inch of its target,

or your grandma ballparking a three-point turn

in a school zone?

Hey, look, I just want to kick back in the backseat of my Prius

and let HAL take me from point A to B,

while I post videos of myself lip-synching to a Pink song

as a poop emoji on Instagram.

Good luck getting all those references.

And think of all the cool stuff you can do in your car

if you don't have to drive.

You can just sit there and play Mario Kart

on your Nintendo Switch.

Because pretend driving is way more fun than really driving.

You can't throw bombs and red shells on the real roads.

Well, you can, but then CSIS will put you on a list.

I'm not allowed to fly to Buffalo anymore!

And another great thing about driverless cars:

finally I can rob a bank by myself.

I don't have to share the cash with my getaway man.

Just my car's driving itself, I'm in the passenger seat

counting money, my sex robot's hanging out the window

shooting at the cops.

It's amazing! Still not convinced?

Driverless cars will make your holiday trip to Red Deer

to see the in-laws way better.

Now you and your wife can get drunk!

"Oh, yeah, Aunt Susan, yeah, tell me more about, uh,

"the jam you've made.

"That's fascinating. Pass the whiskey."

So I guess what I'm saying is the future's not all bad,

but when we're chained up as a robot power supply,

just remember, I warned you!

And you didn't listen!

All because you wanted to have sex with a robot.

Well, I hope it was worth it, battery juice.

DARYN: Do you think a robot's gonna take your job?

WOMAN 1: Ah, no, not my job, but other jobs.

DARYN: You think you're safe?

You're so arrogant and cocky that you think

you're not gonna get stolen-- taken by the robots.

WOMAN 1: Well, I do, like, policy and planning,

and I feel like you can't do that as a robot.

DARYN: Amber, come and tell her the bad news.

This is Amber; she's a tech expert.

AMBER & WOMAN 1: Hi! DARYN: Okay, systems planning,

is she gonna lose her job to a robot?

AMBER: Well, I would say that maybe 50% of your job

may be automated over the next few years.

While you may not lose your job, you are at risk

and maybe want to get new skills soon.

DARYN: Do you have any, like, uh, hobbies?

WOMAN 1: Uh, yeah, volleyball.

AMBER: Well, you could go into volleyball. [laughter]

It's a professional sport!

WOMAN 1: I'm not a pro, but maybe I could work on that.

AMBER: Although I will say, I don't know if you've seen

the Boston Dynamics robot that knows how to do back flips.

DARYN: I hate that robot. AMBER: He probably knows how--

or she knows how to play volleyball too.

DARYN: See, you can't even play volleyball,

cause robots play volleyball.

WOMAN 1: Poor me. Well, thanks, guys.

You really brightened my day. [laughter]

DARYN: Okay, have a great day. [laughter]

DARYN: Amber, they're architects;

they work in the design part of the architecture landscape.

Are they gonna lose their jobs to robots?

AMBER: Uh, I think you should be somewhat concerned.

Because the reality is that we are now seeing AI

that is going to have human-like capabilities.

That means that robots will be able to think for themselves;

they will be able to design, and they'll be able to do it

even better than humans,

because they have so much information to base it on.

So it's bad news for both of you.

MAN 1: Um, artistically, 'cause there's an artistic side

for architecture, right?

DARYN: Amber, tell them the truth.

AMBER: Well, I think that humans think we are the smartest

of all of the beings, but the reality is that...

MAN 1: Oh, no, I'm not saying that! [laughs]

AMBER: Even artistically, the artists have the ability--

or the robots have the ability to be even more artistic

in many ways, because they're able to scan

all of the art that has been done

for thousands and thousands of years and use it to build and

design something even better. MAN 1: Oh, really?

DARYN: The robots are gonna crush us.

You know that, right? WOMAN 2: I know that, um...

DARYN: What are you studying?

WOMAN 3: Ryerson for architecture.

DARYN: Do you think robots are gonna take your job,

before you even have a chance to do it?

WOMAN 3: Uh...

DARYN: This is Amber. She's gonna drop some bad news.

AMBER & WOMAN 3: Hi.

AMBER: I have some really bad news for you.

Especially in the field of architecture,

robots will potentially in the next five to ten years

be able to do a lot of the work that you're studying to do.

WOMAN 3: Oh, my God! DARYN: [laughs]

DARYN: Does it make you scared? WOMAN 3: Yeah, a little bit.

DARYN: Hey, you're still young. You can like, you know,

learn a trade, I don't know. WOMAN 3: Yeah.

DARYN: Plumbing, plumbing...

Oh, robots will do plumbing. AMBER: Yes, they'll do that too.

But good luck with other things.

DARYN: Elizabeth, what do you know about AI?

ELIZABETH: I know that, uh, I'm extremely interested in it.

I don't know too, too much about it,

but it seems like it's the newest industry

that's coming up.

DARYN: Well, what do you do for a living?

ELIZABETH: I exotic dance. DARYN: Okay.

This is a new one, Amber. You're an exotic dancer.

Do you think your industry will be replaced by robots?

ELIZABETH: I do not. DARYN: Okay.

ELIZABETH: I do not. DARYN: Why do you think that?

ELIZABETH: Because nothing can, um,

replace the human touch.

AMBER: Well, I will just say, at CES this year in Las Vegas,

which is the Consumer Electronic Show,

it was the first show ever, of all time,

where they actually had robot exotic dancers,

that were "stripping" on stage. ELIZABETH: Wow.

DARYN: The sex robot industry is, like, booming now!

That's all I read about, is the sex robots.

Can you tell us about sex robots?

AMBER: Yeah, I mean, it's absolutely booming.

If you look in places like Japan, we see sex robots,

we see robots for companionship.

'Cause it could be like a joint,

exotic dance that you did with the robot.

ELIZABETH: Yeah, I mean, I think that would actually be cool.

AMBER: Right! That'd be sexy.

WOMAN 4: I don't think robots are gonna do my job.

I can't see people going to therapists and going to say,

"This is my problem today,"

and getting an automated response to that

working for you as a therapist.

DARYN: See, to me, that sounds amazing.

AMBER: So, here is the bad news, is that we've seen

many studies where they're able to use artificial intelligence

to actually help robots even look into people's eyes

and detect what's bothering them.

DARYN: I have a Roomba, and I'm gonna throw it in the trash

in honour of people like you, who are fighting the robots.

WOMAN 4: Thank you. [laughs] DARYN: You're welcome.

DARYN: Roberto, what do you do for a living?

ROBERTO: Uh, myself, I'm a massage therapist.

DARYN: Can you hit me with some shoulder?

ROBERTO: Right here. [inaudible]

DARYN: Aw, dude, for real.

Damn, this is... this is real.

So you feel 100% confident

that a robot will never take your job?

ROBERTO: Is there a percent higher than 100?

DARYN: Ooh, my man Roberto is cock-y!

AMBER: Okay, so I feel like those massage chairs

are like the early days of robots taking over jobs,

when it comes to a masseuse.

But I actually kind of agree with you,

that it's going to be difficult to actually create a robot

that has that same kind of tactile touch.

They'll use computer vision to look at Daryn and say,

"Hey this-- he's standing weird.

"I can recognize right away where he needs help,"

and he's gonna get to work.

DARYN: But will the robot know what kind of oil to use?

Or, like, the scents? They will know that.

Do you think robots are gonna kill us all eventually?

ROBERTO: Um... mmm...

Yes. Absolutely.

AMBER: I think it's gonna be a few decades,

but you're exactly right. When the robots decide

that they need new materials,

to make something that they've been tasked with making,

they may look to humans and say, "Hey, I see atoms,

"I'm gonna destroy you, because I need to continue my task."

["my task" echoing] [explosion]

DARYN: So should we want to stop the robots, Amber?

AMBER: Uh, I don't think so. There's not much we can do,

except for enjoy our final years here on Earth.

[explosion]

DARYN: A lot of businesses are moving towards

automated security, which is a shame.

Can a pass card ask you how your day was?

Nah, no.

The human touch is needed now more than ever.

I'll show you what I mean. Come with me on my rounds.

It's head-cracking time.

DARYN: You good? Security.

Good? You good?

Secure, everything good?

You all good? You need anything?

No. Good.

Secure. Great!

It's okay, you go ahead. I got this--

this place is secure. Go ahead, it's fine.

It's totally fine.

You go ahead. You go ahead, sir.

File a-- file a grievance.

I am not getting involved.

[smacking sound]

DARYN: It's good.

Excuse me, do you know the CBC handshake?

MAN 2: Yeah.

DARYN: Have a nice day.

I'm scanning. Robots can't scan like I can.

You good, secure? Everything good?

You all right? Good.

[beeping]

DARYN: Yeah, we got an-- we need to see you

take your shoes off please, extra security.

WOMAN 5: You want me to take them off?

DARYN: Yeah, I'm sorry, ma'am, I'll look away.

Go ahead.

DARYN: Just extra security.

Hate to do this, ma'am, I'm sorry.

But you understand.

Security.

Other one, please.

DARYN: The socks are fine.

The socks are fine.

No, that's good. I appreciate this.

I'm sorry. It's not me, it's my boss.

Looks good.

Let me just wand your, uh, your socks.

Are these Christmas socks?

Oh, they're matches. WOMAN 5: Yeah.

DARYN: What does that mean? WOMAN 5: I'm on fire.

DARYN: To me, it sounds like shoe bomb.

Is that what you're doing here?

What's up, fellows? Just a quick routine, routine.

[beeping] DARYN: Yeah, very good.

[beeping] MAN 3: We good?

DARYN: Yeah, good. Have a great day.

DARYN: You're good, you're good. You're good.

DARYN: Yeah, good. [beeping]

DARYN: Good, we're good. We're good.

[beeping]

DARYN: Sandwich inspection. What do you got there for lunch?

MAN 4: Some meatballs.

DARYN: Open 'er up, let's have a look.

That looks good. Can you just take a bite

to prove that it's not... Man 4: Contraband?

DARYN: Yeah, try the sandwich, sir.

DARYN: Okay, you're clear for takeoff.

Thank you, sir.

MAN 4: Have a good one, man. DARYN: Have a great day.

Thank you for everything you've done.

We got a report that someone's not washing

their hands here at the CBC.

Would a robot be able to do this task?

No, no, no. This is all me.

[exhales] This could be ugly.

Come on in, we're looking for evidence.

This is the kind of human investigating

you can't get with a damn robot.

Looks good, looks good.

Okay-- oh, problem spot,

we got a problem spot here at the CBC.

I'm putting that in my report.

Good, good, good...

Good. Wait a second.

Oh, no.

Am I the culprit?

Oh, no...

DARYN: It's time for a dramatic chase montage!

DARYN: Ooh!

DARYN: Oh!

Okay, enough of this nonsense. [panting]

Montage is over.

Oh, what a dumb idea. [panting]

DARYN: Alright, gang, I want to introduce you

to my new best friends, Rob Norman, Andrew Norton,

hosts and creators of the CBC original podcast

called Personal Best .

Explain the podcast.

ANDREW: It's a self-help show.

It's a self-help show for people who don't like self-help.

ROB: Yeah.

Yeah, we take a small problem, like waking up on time,

and we go to extreme lengths to try and solve that problem.

DARYN: The other interesting thing...

Andrew, you're absurdly tall, aren't you?

ANDREW: I am very tall. I'm sitting right now.

DARYN: How tall are you?

ANDREW: I'm six foot six and a half.

DARYN: Stand up, please. ANDREW: Yeah, okay.

DARYN: Look at that! He's like...

two humans!

And now, you guys did a podcast all about AI, yeah?

ROB: Right. Yeah, we did a podcast

about machine learning. And so basically,

when you have a computer,

you put a whole bunch of rules into that computer,

and it figures out, um, what to do next...

with machine learning, it takes a bunch of different stimuli

and creates rules based on those things,

and makes up the rules so it can anticipate the next thing.

DARYN: Right, that's AI. Do you know what a Chatbot is?

ROB: I remember from ICQ back in the day, there was a Chatbot.

DARYN: CBC is creating a self-learning,

super-intelligent AI Chatbot,

where you can talk to the Canadian icon of your choice.

How would you like to spend your afternoon

chatting with Don Cherry?

ROB: I'd love to. ANDREW: Sure.

ROB: I'd love to. DARYN: Right?

DARYN: Ask Don Cherry how he's doing.

ROB: Oh, hey, Don Cherry.

CHERRY CHATBOT: Hello, I only like players from Canada

who wear a suit and tie to the rink.

Good Canadian boys. Good guys, good guys.

DARYN: That's pretty good. That's very close.

DARYN: Hey, Don, any Stanley Cup predictions?

CHERRY CHATBOT: Jets or Leafs, baby!

Good guys, good guys.

DARYN: Cool, that's great.

CHERRY CHATBOT: It's going to be a beauty.

DARYN: Alright, good to know.

There's a prediction from Don Cherry.

How about, um, David Suzuki?

David Suzuki, what's happening?

SUZUKI CHATBOT: The polar ice caps are melting

and 40% of all Canadian wildlife

will be extinct by 2030.

Oh my God, we are all going to die!

ROB: That's kind of a bummer man.

DARYN: No kidding. ANDREW: Yeah, wow.

DARYN: You guys wanna talk to Margaret Atwood?

ANDREW: Thought you'd never ask.

DARYN: Uh, Margaret, how've you been?

ATWOOD CHATBOT: Time is frozen, you can never get away

from where you have been.

And watch Alias Grace at CBC.ca.

Based on my novel, Alias Grace .

Buy it today. DARYN: Wow.

I didn't think she'd be so consumeristic.

But anyways. ROB: Bit sell-y.

DARYN: Wow... Margaret Atwood, any other words of wisdom?

ATWOOD CHATBOT: We think of the past,

and it's the beautiful things we remember.

Also, don't forget to watch Alias Grace ,

based on my novel, Alias Grace .

Available in the E-store.

ROB: Oh, you know who we should get?

We should get Seth Rogen.

DARYN: Seth Rogen, he's a Canadian icon.

ROB: Right, there you go. ANDREW: Love him.

DARYN: Let's see if they developed him.

Uh, we'd love to talk to Seth Rogen.

Seth, what's up?

ROGEN CHATBOT: [laughing robotically]

I like to smoke weed. ROB: Accurate.

DARYN: Totally Seth Rogen. ROB: Good, that's good.

ANDREW: Scary good. Scary good.

DARYN: I gotta tell the tech people

they did a nice job there. ANDREW: Please do, yeah.

DARYN: Um, okay, let's do another icon.

Daryn Jones, hello?

DARYN CHATBOT: Hello Daryn Jones,

it is an honour to meet you.

DARYN: Oh... That's awesome, dude!

Thank you very much for that. That's a nice compliment.

How are you? You look great.

DARYN CHATBOT: You look better. DARYN: That's great.

You guys can go, I'm gonna chat with the, uh, the Daryn Chatbot.

DARYN CHATBOT: What are you doing?

ANDREW: Robbie's crutches?

Personal Best . Podcast.

DARYN CHATBOT: Who are those people?

DARYN: Yeah, they're, uh... they do a podcast.

Anyways, back to me.

Uh, so what else-- what do you like about me?

DARYN CHATBOT: I love everything about you.

DARYN: That is so cool. DARYN CHATBOT: Hair, clothes...

DARYN: That is so cool. DARYN CHATBOT: Muscles...

DARYN: Yeah, I got tons of time.

Okay, I'll call you when I get home and I'm in my bed.

Bye. DARYN CHATBOT: Bye, handsome.

Whisper Challenge with Grace Helbig! || Mayim Bialik - Duration: 6:29.

- I'm a huge fan of Grace Helbig

and I was really excited

that I got to be on her podcast.

And, I made two YouTube videos with her.

One of them is about being a comedian

and dealing with mental health.

The link is below.

But the second video we did,

was something I had never heard of before,

which was really, really fun.

And it is called, the Whisper Challenge.

So, here you go.

Me and Grace Helbig doing the Whisper Whallenge.

- We're gonna do the Whisper Challenge.

- Tell us what the Whisper Challenge is.

- I've done this with an ex-boyfriend and my mother.

(laughing)

So, it's a challenge that brings you together.

- Okay.

- So, basically, one of us will be wearing

soundproof headphones,

while the other person tries to say a word or phrase.

And then, basically the person wearing

the soundproof headphones just

has to try and guess what the other person's saying.

- It sounds so simple!

- But!

We'll find out!

(music coming from headphones)

Okay.

(upbeat piano music)

- Scrambled eggs on pizza.

- Chewy boo backa.

(laughing)

- Scrambled eggs on pizza.

- Trouble has no name.

(laughing)

- Scrambled eggs on pizza.

- Do you have any tampons?

(laughing)

- Scrambled.

- Trouble.

- Eggs.

- Has.

- On.

- Are.

- Pizza.

- Pizza.

(clapping)

- She got pizza!

- [Woman] She's 0 for four.

- Did I get it?

- No.

- What, can I know what it was?

- [Man] Yeah, tell her.

- Scrambled eggs on pizza. - That's a hard word.

- Scrambled is hard.

Google Maps' new feature is awesome, but here's why you may NEVER get to try it - Duration: 2:05.

Google Maps' new feature is awesome, but here's why you may NEVER get to try it Google has rolled-out an improvement to turn-by-turn directions to a select number of Google Maps users. The new system uses local landmarks when pointing you to your destination.

At the moment, Google Maps uses a combination of street names and estimated distances in its turn-by-turn directions. However, that's not really how people provide direction when talking face-of-face.

Keeping your eyes peeled for a small street sign is often not as convenient as using landmarks, or recognisable places of interest along the route.

Google knows this, and is looking into incorporating this more natural-sounding language into its Google Maps app. Users have reported Google Maps offering directions based on local landmarks. So, instead of turn right at Main Street, itll direct you to turn right after Burger King..

Its not clear what points of interest Google will use for its directions, however, it's a nice addition. And initial reports from those in the test seem to be overwhelmingly positive.

However, Google told Engadget that highlighting landmarks is just one method being tested to make guidance better. In fact, it's so early in the testing period that Google isn't even sure whether this feature will ever roll-out worldwide to users.

Anxiety + Me : My Experience - Duration: 15:38.

hello everybody I am Luciana and today we're doing a little bit of a different

video I want to begin to share with you guys a little bit more of my own journey

throughout the years as I've been teaching meditation and seeing my

clients I sometimes give you guys a lot of examples but I don't always share

with you more profoundly my experience with certain things so I want to begin

to do that simply to put out there how it is possible to begin to move past

things that may be limiting us and I really really wanted to share this video

specifically because because the more and more that I work with people that I

talk to people about what they're experiencing emotionally the first word

that I hear out of everybody's mouth is anxiety I am experiencing my son my

daughter my mom my friend somebody if not you is experiencing anxiety around

you and it's still a thing that not a lot of people understand it's still a

thing that has many perspectives so it's okay to see things differently than what

I am gonna share here with you but today more than anything and more than

teaching you anything I want to share with you my experience of anxiety how I

experienced it how I lived it and the way that it affected my health my body

and my emotional state with all of that said I want to begin I guess where it

all starts in my childhood I feel that since I was a little girl I was always

very afraid of the world so I had a beautiful childhood I had a healthy

childhood things happen in my childhood like my parents getting divorced but it

wasn't really dramatic at the time or in any way at that moment from what I knew

too how can we say too difficult together it

was a transition that seemed kind and normal now I can understand that they

were emotions there that I didn't process but I want to put that out there

first sometimes people believe that if you experience anxiety is either because

there is something wrong with you it's either because you're weak and you don't

know how to handle your emotions or it's because you lived something very

difficult and traumatic in my experience and I would say this is pretty much the

definition that I have concluded that has to do with anxiety is that it is a

resistance to something that eventually becomes mental emotional physical we are

resisting an experience we're unable to process it excessive whatever we are

living is too overwhelming we're assisting it not because we want

to but because we don't know and what how other way to handle it that we begin

to have symptoms like I said some people do not experience physical symptoms of

anxiety some people experience more emotional maybe they might feel a lot of

fear that they do not know why it's there or maybe the anxiety is being

experienced in a very mental way where they're just thinking maybe intrusive

negative thoughts and for most people anxiety becomes something physical I

feel I experience a little bit of all but I did experience it a lot in a

physical way or you begin to feel literally the tension inside in your

chest maybe sweaty palms may be hard

palpitations and things like that I was never officially diagnosed with

anxiety as I was growing up it wasn't a thing because I never expressed anything

one of the big signs of why I was resisting so much it was almost as if I

believed that everything that I was living inside would be an inconvenience

for other people so I never expressed it and this is one of the biggest big

things that cost me from a young age to begin to gain a lot of weight it's

almost as if having the extra weight because if you think about it that

physiologically for your body is meant to protect so it was doing the same

thing for me you know it's like I feel vulnerable I feel nervous

simply because because there was really not much going on it was just my I guess

fear like I said of being in the world and out of not knowing how to handle

then I started from a very young age protecting myself with extra weight

mentally did not make me feel any better but I guess at certain level it brought

some comfort because it became my identity for those of you that may be

watching this maybe you don't experience with anxiety but you have a weight

problem it usually might have happen at the period in your life or you felt you

needed the most protection or you felt that you needed to feel safe emotionally

and little by little habits start to change and suddenly you feel overwhelmed

and suddenly you find yourself overweight for me like I said it started

at a very young age now my mechanism of coping with all of that was to do

nothing but continue to suppress the emotions I really wouldn't talk too much

to anybody there was a lot of shame you know a lot of us people that find

ourselves over overweight we carry a large amount of shame with all of the

weight we carry a lot of shame because we do live in a society that rejects the

way that you look when you're overweight when for you is your only it might be

your coping mechanism to get through so when we're going through life and we're

hearing people remind us of something that we're so aware of even and we don't

talk about it it only creates more of that resisting to live and continuous to

create more weight and this is mainly like I said my experience I became aware

of my anxiety so that's another thing maybe you have you have been

experiencing anxiety for a long time but you really haven't become aware of

it I think I became aware of it around 15 and 16

I guess it's also the period of my life when my hormones began to be more

present and the little fears and the little emotions became big emotions I

still did not express them but I still started to feel a lot of more anxiety

fear I have moments of panic here and there and I never did anything to treat

it the outcome of that is probably within the next three four five years me

reaching a weight of almost 300 pounds and I guess it was around that time that

something in me started to click you know I always had an interest in

meditation I always had an interest in learning you know about something

something bigger than ourselves and that started very young but it was mainly

probably after I graduated high school that I started to read more about it and

learn more about it it's one thing to read it's another thing to practice but

it was not until I was you know in my mid-20s or the 20s that I started to

really really really begin to practice what meditation was and it took time

because at the beginning it makes no sense you're going through anxiety

you're feeling depressed you hate yourself cause you're overweight and

somebody comes and tells you to breathe and relax you don't think that's gonna

help you you you really don't or at least I didn't a lot of the time I was

like this is not gonna help let me go back to what I'm doing but I'm a true

example of the fact that even working through things little by little

eventually pays off the fact that my anxiety got really bad

with physical symptoms to that point where you want to Google to see if

you're about to die you know it's like am I about to die right now with how I'm

feeling at some point I said no more at some point I said let me try different

things my route was to educate myself because like I said I was very skeptical

of many things and every time I talked to my clients because I offer

alternative therapy hypnotherapy techniques from life coaching emotional

integration meditation a lot of people think that I was just like out of the

blue believing in these things believing them because I've seen the

results in my life and in other people's lives but I was there reading about it

learning about it asking about it trusting as I was moving through working

with clients until I've seen it so that was my journey but with all of this said

it took a while and every time little by little I started trusting more and more

and more that I had the power to apply things so my big thing now is that I

recognize when it comes to the emotion of anxiety it is required to be willing

to feel the uncomfortableness of flowing with the uncomfortableness if that makes

any sense it is required to feel and that's gonna

make you uncomfortable either you resist it and the anxiety will continue or you

flow in it will feel uncomfortable at the beginning because you have to allow

if you've ever felt the guilty or ashamed or alone you know it's

uncomfortable and if you're human you have you know but if you're willing to

let yourself experience it something and you will happen where you realize it

wasn't that big of this huge deal that I was making it wasn't this huge drama

that I was imagining it's simple it requires trust it requires letting go

of being the judge of what's happening in your life we are our biggest critics

we are so obsessed especially in our society with thinking that everybody

cares too much about us and how we look and how what we do but at the end of the

day whatever comment or look or opinion people may have it's a surface of what

they're going through but everybody has one spot line and that spots the

spotlight is usually facing in towards themselves everybody's obsessed with

themselves everybody wants something for them I always tell my students in my

classes you're here feeling uncomfortable that there's other people

nobody cares because everybody's feeling uncomfortable about them thinking

but other people care it really requires recognizing that there is nothing wrong

with how things are that it's okay to make peace with things being sometimes

difficult outside of our comfort zone it's okay to make peace with endings

it's okay to make peace with changes like I shared with you um throughout my

childhood my parents got the voice and that was a huge change and I wasn't

expressing too much how I felt and I kept it all inside by the time I was 12

years old my appendix had to be taken out by the time I was 18 years old my

tonsils had to be taking out my gall bladder had to be taking out and at some

point somebody told me what else do you want to come out of your body for you to

pay attention my body could no longer resist could no longer hold the

resistance that I was putting into you know in it and I had no other option but

to wake up and take charge and take responsibility and be willing to feel

uncomfortable temporarily to feel better in the long long term it's an act of

love towards yourself to not put so much pressure to your mind to your emotions

into your body it literally kills us I know it sounds a little dramatic but our

thoughts and our emotions literally affect our body and it can literally

kill us maybe in a long time but it does affect our health we're so obsessed with

little things until things become real that's why I'm a firm believer that we

need tools you know for those of you that may be watching this the follow me

I sometimes sound like literally like a broken record but now more than ever I

have this passion on this mission of wanting to share a lot of the things

that have helped with helped me with the people that are ready a bunch of people

are gonna hear me and they're not gonna like it and maybe you don't believe in

what I say maybe you find it like you've heard it five million times that's good

this is not for you then I want to reach to the people that are ready to simply

receive tools that they can apply in their lives because that's what

transformed mine you know and we have to be strong because not

everybody's gonna agree with us I remember being 12 years old and because

I was so overweight and my belly was sticking out really you know really far

people would tell me are you pregnant but it sarcastically kind of bullying of

course and I remember number one I didn't speak the language because I was

just coming from Mexico so I didn't speak English and I would just sit there

feeling completely humiliated feeling that I wish I knew how to not feel like

this how to change it I feel like most of the my life I was in search for tools

and now that I found them for the people that are also searching for tools I

wanna at least do my little put my little grain and and put that out there

and now it's like I'm really passionate about that so anyway so that's pretty

much what kind of what I wanted to share with you guys and more than anything

please if you're experiencing anxiety or depression or anything the only thing

that I want to remind you of right now is that you truly hold the key and the

power maybe right now you don't yet know that different tools that you can use

but you do have the power just don't forget that a lot of people and I was

there we feel so powerless and worthless when we're going through something we

feel small in front of everybody else in the world even if we have recognition

it's because of what you're feeling inside just want to remind you you have

done nothing wrong you're not experiencing anxiety and depression

because you're being punished it's simply the side effect of until now how

do you process your emotions and you've truly been doing it the best that you

can the only thing is that this way doesn't

work anymore because it's only not helping but hindering so it's simply

about looking for support and the tools you know I teach about the process of

emotional integration I teach about the power of meditation to help emotions if

that doesn't work for you go reach out to whatever method person author

purpose that helps you but you need to take charge stop resisting allow

yourself to flow and instead of freaking out of the flow

take charge yes so that's what I wanted to share with you guys I hope you guys

have a beautiful beautiful day and I'll see you soon bye bye

Google Changed Its Review Policies & This Is What You Need to Know - Duration: 1:33.

Hi, I'm Zac Herr, and I manage Renown, the review marketing platform here

at RevLocal. And, this is your Digital Marketing Refresh.

You may have heard that Google recently changed their policy

stating that you can no longer discourage or prohibit negative reviews,

or selectively solicit positive reviews.

Here's how that'll impact you as a business owner.

If you currently use a review marketing service to solicit reviews from your customers,

you can no longer first ask them if they had a positive

or negative experience with your business

in an effort to filter out negative feedback.

This is commonly called a sentiment check.

If you continue this practice, Google may penalize you by removing the

reviews you have on your Google My Business listing.

While this may sound scary and nobody wants to lose their reviews,

this really isn't the end of the world.

It just means that now more than ever, it's extremely important

to have a person monitoring your reviews rather than automated technology.

At RevLocal, we've already reworked Renown to adapt to this change

to make sure that our clients can continue to gather new reviews

without violating Google's policies.

We've removed the sentiment check and made it easier for your customers

to reach out to you directly if they've had a negative experience.

If you have questions about any of these changes, you can

reach out to your marketing strategist or email us directly at info@revlocal.com.

That's it for this Marketing Refresh.

For more marketing tips and tricks, be sure to head over to our blog

at revlocal.com/blog and subscribe to our YouTube

channel to stay up-to-date on the most recent industry trends.

Mugler Angel Fruity Fair Fragrance Review - Duration: 5:23.

Are you looking for a new fragrance that takes you back to some of your favorite

times in your childhood? Then stay with me while I review the

latest creation from Mugler and it's the new Angel Fruity Fair! Hi and welcome

back to your Ellie Smells and today I'm really happy to be bringing the latest

creation from Mugler Fragrances which is the Angel Fruity Fair EDT. Now each year

Mugler do do tend to release a limited edition on the Angel fragrances. I don't

know if any of you have tried the Eau Sucre? But this is the latest one and

this was released about a month ago. So probably March 2018. This one is

classed as a Fruity Cypre and as you'll see from the bottle it's in the

Angel Star shape, but it's like a neon blue and and it's a 50ml. I think it's

only available in a 50ml. So that's the bottle with the classic silver top.

I know that the inspiration for this particular fragrance was to transport

you back to your favorite childhood memories such as being at the fair and

all the wonderful things that you eat there, like candy floss, toffee apples,

going on the merry-go-round and on the carousels. So it's everything that was

really, really fun! So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to spray it first on

the blotter. I'll try some on me, hmm! And when you smell it you definitely get a

lot of the essences from the original Angel EDT, but it's not quite as sweet.

You get a real fruity top note and that's because in there you have

lychee and red currant. It's not really, really, sweet just soft and fruity, so

lovely and quite fresh! And then in the heart notes you have an addition called

Pomarose. Now I know that this is a molecule which is made up with

essences or accords of apple, plum and raisin. So just making it more and more

fruity. And then you also have rose thorn in there, which just gives it a

green, almost woodsy, essence in the mid notes. So so far it's quite light, quite

fruity, but still very reminiscent of the original Angel. It's actually the base

notes that take me back to my childhood and to some wonderful days out with my

lovely mum and dad and my brother, when we used to go to the beach and go to the

funfair at the end of the pier; where you would have delicious vanilla ice cream

and candy floss and doughnuts. Because in the base notes you've got essences such

as vanilla and whipped cream and then the lovely, leafy, woodsyness

of the patchouli. So it's really soft but definitely fruity. As it

dries down it just goes to a really subtle, very light, wearable summer

fragrance. Something that you're just going to smell a really nice clean fruit,

just softened with that hint of vanilla. So nothing too heavy or cloying for the

summertime. So I would say that this one would be a definite really good buy for

somebody that just wants something that's going to be able to spritz over

the skin and give them that hint of fruitiness during the hot summer days or

somebody that likes essences such as the Angel Muse or the original Angel EDT or

some of the fragrances like the Tom Ford Vanille and also the Alien

and some more of the Mugler fragrances or even some of the more edible gourmandy

fragrances. Something a bit lighter than the Good Girl by Carolina Herrera.

But that one I think would be for everybody really, of all ages, just

something that's really going to be easy to wear, because as I'm smelling it

it's not now very heavy at all. It's really softened and it's just like a

light spray. So that one, like I say, is a limited edition so at the moment it is

only available in the 50 mls and normally once this is gone

that's it! It's not replaced at all. So if you're interested in trying this go to a

department store, give it a spray, see what you think and let me know? But that

one is a definite recommendation from me for summer

and that's the Angel Fruity Fair EDT. Anyway that's it for now on Ellie Smells,

we'll be back again soon and I'm hoping that Timbo's feeling a bit better

because he's been really poor the last couple of weeks.

So anyway, leave me my comments and don't forget to like and subscribe and I'll see

you again soon on Ellie Smells bye for now bye! Fruity edible, just YUM! Yeah, I'm not saying that!

Incredible Samsung Galaxy S9 deal can save you over £300 and there's no catch - Duration: 3:56.

Incredible Samsung Galaxy S9 deal can save you over £300 and there's no catch Samsung's stunning Galaxy S9 only launched in February but prices are already starting to tumble.

The update to last years award-winning Galaxy S8 features a number upgrades and improvements including a faster processor, better camera and improved rear fingerprint scanner which makes it much easier to unlock the phone.

Another update is the inclusion of something Samsung calls AR emojies. Using its clever front-facing camera, owners can now make and send new animated characturers of themselves.

AR Emojis use a data-based machine learning algorithm, which analyses a 2D image of the user and maps out more than 100 facial features to create a 3D model that reflects and imitates expressions, like winks and nods, for true personalisation.

Theres no question the new Galaxy range are very good phones with our recent S9+ review stating: "There's no question this is a contender for smartphone of the year.

"With its stunning curved design it still looks sublime and the display is without doubt one of the best you'll find on phone. "This new flagship also offers a slick experience with a processor that's powerful enough to act as your home PC." One of the only downsides of buying the Galaxy S9 is its price which, until now, has been very expensive.

When Samsung launched the S9 they placed a hefty price tag of £739 on it - that's £50 more than the Galaxy S8. Luckily, there is a deal which makes the S9 a lot more affordable and this offer can actually save you over £300. YOU CAN FIND THE DEAL HERE The price cut allows Samsung fans to pick up an S9 for just £23 per month. For your money you get 4GB of data and unlimited calls/texts on the Vodafone network.

There is a £190 upfront fee to pay but the total cost over the two year contract works out at £742. Here's why this is such a good deal. If you buy the S9 directly from Samsung it will cost you £739 but then you'll need a SIM deal.

A similar amount of data, to the offer above, is around £13 per month or £312 over two years. Add that to the handset cost and the total is £1051 - over £300 more than opting for a contract.

If this still sounds a little expensive there could be some good news on the horizon with Samsung expected to release its cheaper Galaxy A8 in the coming days.

This budget Galaxy S8 rival was announced last December and offers some very decent specs without the flagship price. Theres no full details but Vodafone recently confirmed that the Galaxy A8 is "coming soon.".
