Waching daily May 2 2018

Back in the day, hot water was a luxury.

People had to live near hot springs in order to enjoy a hot bath, so for most of human

history we bathed in cold water.

But even when the Ancient Greeks developed heating systems for their baths, they continued

bathing in cold water for the health benefits.

You've most likely been taking warm showers for your entire life and there's nothing wrong

with that.

However today I'm going to tell you about the benefits of switching from warm to cold.

And at the end of the video I'll explain the best way to do it.Ok, so why take cold showers

in the first place?

Believe me when I say this, but if there were no advantages, then I would't take them.I

don't love taking them, but I love the benefits they give me.So the first benefit is;energy

and alertnessObviously, an ice cold shower is going to wake you up.

If you have trouble getting up for the day, cold shower is a good cure for your sleepy

morning.

A change in body temperature sends your body into a slight state of shock, which instantly

boosts your alertness and the feeling of being awake.The freezing water is going to get your

heart pounding, lungs pumping and eyes wide open.When you get hit by the cold water, it

forces you to start breathing more deeply and you'll get more oxygen in to your body.

It's like entering a meditative state.Your heart rate will also increase and it's going

to feel like drinking a cup of coffee.

You'll have extra energy to be more productive and tackle the rest of the day.Second benefit

is that it canboost your willpowerBy doing something you are resistant to doing, you

make your willpower stronger.

Kind of like a muscle.

To make a muscle bigger and stronger you have to push yourself to move more weight than

the last time.

Willpower works the same way.

By exposing yourself to something that takes some serious self discipline, you start building

that willpower muscle.And one of the best ways to build it, is to do something as hard

as taking a cold shower.

By building willpower in one area of your life you will end up having more mental strength

overall.

That means if you build enough self-discipline to take a cold shower every day, you will

have more self discipline to hit the gym, quit smoking and overall make better life

decisions.Imagine a cold shower as an obstacle you have to overcome every day.

By getting over that initial obstacle, every other obstacle becomes easier to overcome.The

third benefit is thatit improves circulation.If you're not motivated by feeling better or

doing better, then at least be motivated by becoming healthier.Good blood circulation

is vital for overall cardiovascular health.

It also speeds up recovery time from demanding exercises and work.

When the cold water hits your body, your arteries pump blood more efficiently, therefore boosting

your overall heart health.Alternating between hot and cold water also works.Cold water causes

your blood to move to your organs to keep them warm.

Warm water reverses the effect by causing the blood to move towards the surface of the

skin.

Thus improving circulation.What's more interesting is that in one study they found that even

30 seconds of cold water exposure can improve your immune system.

The participants of the study who took cold showers for 30 seconds or more, were less

likely to get sick.So not only do cold showers improve circulation, they also make you more

immune to diseases.

Now, if I have you convinced with the benefits, let's take a look at how to actually take

a cold shower.

If you've spent most of your life showering with warm water, suddenly going cold, can

be a pretty big shock for your body.

You don't want to start off too cold right away, as this can come be a big surprise for

your immune system, and it might actually make you sick.

My suggestion is to gradually decrease the temperature of the water, so your body can

slowly adapt.

So you don't have to jump straight in to ice cold.

In fact, I start my showers warm.

Over the course of about two minutes I steadily approach my desired temperature.

And by slowly changing from warm to cold, I give my body enough time to adjust.

So basically what you do is: you start your shower with warm water.

Enjoy yourself.

Then make it slightly colder.

After a few seconds you'll get used to it and then you can go even colder.

Keep on making it cold until you reach a temperature you can handle for about 30 seconds.

It doesn't have to be ice cold, just cold.

So here's your experiment.

I challenge you to take a cold shower tomorrow morning for just 30 seconds and see how it

makes you feel.

Actually, how about about we make it a 7 day challenge?

Remember the first cold shower is the hardest one.

Every single day you do it, it gets easier.

You just have to condition your body to get used to the cold, just like with any other

training.

For example, Wim Hof aka "The Iceman", can stay in an ice bath for 2 hours without freezing.

He also holds many other world records, such as climbing the highest mountains in the world,

in only his shorts.

So even if the cold showers don't make you the next Wim Hof, you should still experiment

with them and see how they make you feel.

Do they make you more energized?

Education

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Which you we consider as a preparation for life,

Education is that system where we spent one fourth of our lifetime, hating it to the fullest.

We are being taught of the saying "the one to read is the one to ride."

But we make mistake, education is wealth.

We study, because we are supposed to,

we study just to get a formal degree. A degree that ascertains a career , a career that ascertains a better life , a better tomorrow.

We study just to grab a descent job.

However is it the only thing education meant for?

Rathindranath once said : "The main object of teaching is not to give explanations, but to knock at the doors of the mind.

" Vivekananda , Nazrul all claimed that it is us within which book of knowledge resides.

Education arouses that sense of knowledge

In such a case isn't it us who are meant to be the best teachers for own selves?!

Education isn't an isolated, inert process

Aasset is the one which has its utility.

Likewise if education doesn't have any usage , isn't linked to our lives, it stands useless.

Education enlightens our mind, our soul.

Ritwik Ghatak said : "Think, Practice Thinking."

This thought process is much required for the enhancement of the quality of life.

Knowledge isn't the assimilation of some information,

knowledge is all about gaining an absolute experience.

So,

Since we cannot detach education from its formal norm, we cannot apply the same in our lives.

We are hence the enslaved to our thoughts.

What we will eat , think or do are determined by external powers: political, economical or social.

We are cheated on our emotions , weaknesses.

An advertisement determines our thoughts , our actions.

The more influential it is , the greater is its likelihood to be chosen.

The statements that influence more are the ones we support.

We select the products which are more approaching.

But do we ever judge on our selections?

Probably this is why we are so often cheated.

Do we ever bother to have a look at the ingredients listed on the back of the products ?

It's a mandate to have all the ingredients listed.

The pros and cons are well documented. But do we jugde on these points ever?

Never.

We are all lured by the ornamented faces.

This is just an example.

The same applies to every aspect of our life , every now and then.

And we accept it in our lives.

These tolerance , indifference are boasting the ones who gain advantages of our ignorance.

Whatever wrong is done to you makes you equally responsible.

We never utilise the most powerful weapon we have : education.

All I wish you to have is not to urge you to have interest in so-called education system.

I wish to realise the actual worth of education.

We all understand , but aren't much moved by it.

This indifference is not just affecting our country but is affecting our individual beings.

What we are consuming is poison.

Not that we have no option, we can make an antidote to it.

A product is developed based targeting its customers.

The prosperity of a product depends on its customers' satisfaction.

We tend to select the most sparkling item.

Oil is purchased on its colour, and hence there arises the need of colouration.

We tend to be given to cheap diluted entertainments. Hence we give in to degeneration.

We tolerate. Therein the wrong strengthens its base.

The world won't change. We need to change.

And education can play the key role to this change.

Education that doesn't require formal establishment. Education that enhances knowledge is all that is needed.

Rabindranath exclaimed that it's education that connects us to the world.

We are at parity because of this education and we need to harness it to the fullest.

It is we who need to step forward to make our lives more enriched.

An aware individual leads to an aware nation and hence an aware world.

I wish to make this truth reach to your roots so that are more conscious.

I urge you to spread this message so that a better we can a bettet tomorrow that in turn makes a beautiful world.

Honestly, I have to love this new lens guys

And then look at that little overhang of the cliff that is

Honestly scary and then Sean had the brilliant idea is to have another look as to what's on the other side of the cliff

sort of have a phobia of heights

But then I sort of don't like I heard the noise

But whenever you got like a new camera and a new

You don't wanna get that close to cliff because you probably will will drop it in the water and then Sean said that he was

Going to try and run and jump off the cliff, and I was like Sean

Please don't do that and I was like okay thump. You don't leave it

I'm finally what I'm saying to you guys now is that I'm gonna be explaining something to you guys and

Dating Someone Flaky? FB Live - Duration: 3:07.

I hear from clients that

will say to me that all the people that they they've

Met, or they've gone out on dates with or whatnot they just they weren't serious

They weren't really looking for a relationship

And I just find that really hard to believe because I mean with people all the time and that's what they want

But when you are first in that initial phase of the relationship

You're just you're both going different paces

And you need to get find that you know point after you've been seeing each other for a while or you can put things on

Cruise control and you are actually

Communicating at the same kind of speed and you have that connection so when people have these expectations

Of others where they think that that person should respond right away, or should make them a priority right away and should go

On another date. You know two days later and

You just you know it's not really the way that the world works

You know you have to earn your place in that person's life. You just met her or him

They don't know you they don't owe you anything, so it's important to reset your

expectations of the people when you first starting out when you're first starting to date them

Because you don't know where they're at and you know they may be really busy or they may have all these other

Priorities and they don't have a relationship, so they'd fill their life with everything all these other different priorities

And that could change you know once they are in a relationship with someone

But for now you know they're doing what whatever it is that they're they're doing and you know you'll earn that

That position that place in their life eventually, but it takes a little

a little bit at a time so chill and just

Relax and just know that you know it will come when you after you've you know you have to it's like a plant

You know you have to water it, and it has to get sunshine and it takes a while

You don't just get the tomato or the flower the next day

It takes time to get there so people just dis understand that you know everybody's at a different

Speed and everyone's going different speeds at the beginning phase

And you know it just takes a little bit of time for you to recalibrate it and get on that same

Kind of playing field anyway. I'm curious to hear your thoughts you know

What are your experiences around this have you ever met somebody that you know you felt like they wanted a relationship tomorrow

Or have you been on the other end of it where you just felt like they they just they weren't serious

And they weren't getting back to you and weren't being really good communicators, or just felt like they were flaky or whatever

I mean which I mean that that is true some people are just flaky, but of course

you know especially at this day and age of

Now, if you have a chair or a stool, grab that.

Otherwise you can totally do these on the floor.

What you NEED to know about DESK POSTURE | Metro Physical Therapy - Duration: 3:49.

Hello, my name is Dr. Anthony Romeo, and I am a physical therapist at Metro Physical

& Aquatic Therapy.

Today, we're going to go over the proper way to sit at a desk.

So Garry if you can have a seat in the chair here.

Now while this may be very comfortable for Garry if he was lounging on the beach this

is not the exact way we want to sit for a long day at work.

So a couple things we're gonna fix.

First of all, you don't want to lean back.

Now the seat is at actually pretty low for Garry.

We wanna have his knees and his hips at 90 degrees.

So Garry why don't you go ahead and lift up the chair.

Much better, what that will do is it will do is it will neutralize his lower back.

We don't wanna have Garry in a slouched position because that can put a lot of pressure on

discs and other structures of the spine.

Now that we have his legs in a good position, we can do a couple of other things to further

correct his posture.

One piece of equipment you can use is a lumbar roll.

What this does is replicated the natural curvature of the lower back.

So Garry, lean forward a little bit more, go ahead and sit back.

In this position Garry has a little bit of an arch in his back which is actually what

we all need to have in our spine.

It's physically impossible for Garry to sit at the edge of the chair with his spine arched

for more than a couple of minutes.

So what this does is it allows him to stay in a good spine posture for several hours

at a time at his work station.

Now we will touch upon what to do with the upper extremities when sitting at a work station.

So Garry I would like you to go ahead and start typing on the laptop.

So the first thing Garry did was actually excellent.

You have to bring the laptop to you.

If you are reaching forward it round the shoulders which can casue alot of shoulder problems.

So here Garry's in an ok position but one thing we can see is that he's reaching up

to get to the laptop.

So we can actually lower this down a little bit more.

So Garry, way don't you go ahead and lower this down.

Now one thing that Garry is doing is doing now which is very good is he's using the arm

rests.

If you're holding your shoulders up for an extended period of time your gonna get stiffness

in this muscle the upper trap.

So now the next thing we wanna worry about is Garry's wrist.

He's actually at a very good position now.

Common mistakes you'll see.

People will arch up like so, and type and that can lead to carpel tunnel.

In this position Garry is in a nice neutral position here.

Where he's not putting any pressure into his carpel tunnel.

So now I'd like to talk about Neck position when working in front of a computer.

So as we can see here, Garry has a pretty common posture here.

His head is forward, his shoulders are forward, he's actually slouching.

All of this may feel comfortable and it's easy to do over a long day this will lead

to a lot of problems.

So the first thing we want, Garry if you could just sit back into the chair.

Just by doing that his head is corrected.

He's still a little forward though.

Now we running into a little bit of a problem here.

Garry's screen is a little bit lower than he is.

So we have two options, Tilt the screen down, so this way he can see a little bit better.

Or we can raise this up just a little bit so it's a little more eye level.

Now one thing you have to be careful with once I raise that Garry's arms are up a little

bit.

So I actually want this just a little bit lower.

So here Garry has perfect posture, he's looking down not bringing his head down and the rest

of his body is at a nice neutral position.
