Waching daily May 2 2018

[Nicole Simonin] Today on Shape It Up we're going to be talking about a good "lower" ab workout.

Now, I have to be honest with you there are no lower abs. There's no upper abs

and there's no lower abs. There is a video that you can check out to watch

and learn how your abs are but there are no upper or lower abs so when you're

thinking about targeting those lower abs you're really targeting the lower fibers

of the abdominals so it's not like it's a separate muscle but today I've got

three exercises for you that you will feel it in the lower part of your abdominals.

(Music)

Three exercises that are going to make you feel like you're

targeting the lower part of your abs but we know there's no difference between

your upper and lower abs...Right? Okay so the first one we're gonna do is

called Heels to Heaven. You're going to lay back on your back and you're gonna

bring your legs straight up and what I want you to try to do is to push your

feet up towards the ceiling. Imagine there's a circle that your feet have to

go through in order to get up into that circle. It is a very small movement and

you will feel it really low in the abdominal part of your stomach. So you

can use your hands to push down. Basically, I'm just tipping my hips and

trying to bring my feet straight up. One of the things you do not want to do is

this ....That is a totally different exercise.

You want to just lower and lift. Now, if you need a modification you can do a

pelvic tilt [click video in upper right hand corner]

where you're pulling your abs up into your stomach.

Next exercise is leg lowers.

You're going to place your hands underneath your hips to give your back a

little bit of support. You're going to raise your feet up and you're gonna

slowly lower those legs down to the floor and then bring them back up.

Now the key here is that you do not want your lower back to arch off the ground.

If I lower and all of a sudden my back comes off the ground you are going

to hurt your back. Make sure that back stays plastered to the floor.

You're gonna lower your heels and say your back starts to arch

right there you want to stop just a little bit before that and then bring

them back up. The other key is you want to make sure those legs are nice

and straight as you're lowering.Of course, breathe.

Alright if you need a modification you can do a couple of

different things you can bend your knees

and just slowly lower your heels to the floor or you can do single legs so you

can drop one leg down and then the other leg down and then just build up until

you're ready to do the straight leg version.

The next exercise to feel it in

your lower abdominal area is a knee in and we're gonna hold at the bottom.

For your knee in, what you're gonna do is you're gonna bring your knees in and

you're gonna extend out and just hold

and then come back up.

Hold count for like five seconds or ten seconds (depending on your strength)

Then come back up.

All three of those exercises

will definitely fire up the feeling in your lower abdominals.

if you have any questions go ahead and leave it in the comment section below and I'll be happy to answer them.

I hope you enjoyed those three a good lower ab workout

exercises that you can do at home. Remember to start off slow.

Build up as you build tolerance to the exercises and

remember to always check with your physician before starting any exercise program.

How To Access The Being, The Archetype Within You Part 4 of 4 - Duration: 4:36.

Then the fourth step is accessing the Archetype.

The Archetype really means there is a Being.

And the Being lives within you, within your unconscious, or as Jung would call it, in

your collective unconscious.

It is not only the unconscious of Bill Gates, not only Mark Zuckerberg, but it's also

living in the consciousness of a person on the street, in the consciousness of a beggar.

The only thing is — the beggar doesn't access the collective unconscious.

He's accessing his personal unconscious, but not the collective unconscious.

The collective unconscious is a replica — You know, what God said, and even in the Bible

God said, "God created man in his own image."

Is God poor?

No, God is not poor.

He created human beings in his own image so that we have all the power within us, but

not in the conscious or the personal unconscious, but in the collective unconscious.

And that's where the Archetypes are vibrating.

To put it very simply, archetype is a Being, just as the Holy Spirit is a Being.

Not many people think the Holy Spirit is a person.

And so the Archetype is also a person, a Being who can help you — an Angel, a Guardian

Angel who can help you to manifest.

And the world is now getting ready to accept forces in the nature that God has given us.

Because we do not believe in God although we put on the dollar, "We trust in God."

How many people think about God even in a day?

No.

In dollar we trust, not in God.

Yet.

So the Archetype Shreem Brzee has two components — one is the Goddess of Wealth.

The Brzee component is many lifetimes.

This was revealed to me only a month ago that I had been a Wealth Yogi or Rishi in another

Yuga, in another life time — many, many world cycles have passed by; and during one

of these world cycles I was known as Brzee.

That's why I came back here again in the name which I made a conscious choice not to

have it [the name] and to go back to my original name as Baskaran Pillai.

So at least I'm glad that nature has made it possible that it survives in the Mantra.

So you are calling on the two Archetypes — One Archetype is the Goddess.

And the other Archetype, Brzee is this Holy Man, this Rishi, who gave, who spent his entire

life to provide material things for people, along with spiritual wisdom, and remove their Karma.

TSP Loans: Borrowing from Your Retirement, Costs to Consider, Repaying with Interest | Now You Know - Duration: 1:04.

Hi, I'm Lazetta from the TSP.

We know life happens, and you might be tempted to take a loan from your TSP account.

If you do, be aware that taking a TSP loan might cost a lot more than you think.

When you take out a loan from your TSP account there are some costs to consider:

There's a loan fee of $50 for administrative expenses deducted from your loan check, you

temporarily deplete your balance, and you must repay your loan with interest.

And there are some other costs that you might not realize. Because your account balance is depleted,

you'll lose the compound interest you would've earned on that amount had you not taken out the loan.

And while it's true you'll be paying yourself back with interest, that interest will come from

your hard-earned pay rather

than from investment performance.

Remember, the purpose of contributing to the TSP is to provide you with retirement income,

not to build up a balance to borrow from.

So think twice before you take a TSP loan.

And now you know.

Follow Your Passion - The One Skill You Need - Duration: 4:00.

This week we are talking about what it takes to follow your passion.

What's up Fish Fans!

My name is Marcus.

You're watching Marketing Madness, the Blue Fish vlog!

Following your passion is a big topic of discussion in today's social society.

The internet allows people to turn passions like blogging and video gaming into a reality.

You can take just about anything and figure out a way to turn it into a living.

Buuuuut.

There is one important skill you'll need in order to make this happen….

That's right, sales.

Now there are some preconceived notions out there that sales are some sort of taboo or

that it implies manipulating, pressuring, cajoling, you know: all the used car salesman

stereotypes.

But if you think of selling as explaining the logical benefits of a decision, then everyone,

business owner or not --- needs sales skills.

Sales skills will help you convey to others that an idea makes sense, help investors understand

why your business is logical, or to convince employers to hire you.

Sales skills are communication skills.

If you want to follow your passion and make money at it, you'll need to be able to effectively

communicate your ideas so that they can be monetized.

And trust me when I say, you'll learn more about people and communication in sales than

anywhere else.

When following your passion, you'll need to convince employees to come work for you,

you'll need to win financing, bring in investors, line up distribution deals, and land customers.

In the early stages of starting a company, everything you do is going to involve sales

in some way.

Understanding sales and the processes that come along with it is a skill set that will

serve you for life.

It is incredibly important, no matter the industry

or career you choose.

Spending time polishing up on your sales and communication skills will put you ahead in

life and those grandiose dreams of doing what you love every day.

So let's look at some of the things you'll learn when polishing up on your sales skills:

You'll learn self-confidence Being put in situations where you have to

clearly communicate your position will give you a sense of accomplishment.

You'll learn self-discipline.

Creating and following through on small disciplined processes will allow you to graduate to larger,

more meaningful processes.

You'll learn to negotiate.

In a sales situation, you'll learn to listen, evaluate variables, identify pain points,

overcome objections and reach an agreement so that both parties involved leave the negotiation

table better off.

You'll learn persistence.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

Take the word no with a grain of salt.

If I stopped at no every time I heard it, Blue Fish would have been out of business

years ago!

Persistence is a muscle.

The more you work it, the harder it gets.

You'll learn to close.

Asking for what you want is extremely difficult for most people.

However, to close a sale, you must ask

So if you are a would-be entrepreneur, sales are where I'd spend all my time.

Sales is not a natural born ability.

It is a skill.

I repeat, sales is a skill.

And the single most valuable skill that anyone can own.

If you are watching this and you are struggling in business, in life, in anything I can trace

it back to an inability to communicate your wants.

Either to yourself or others.

Well, that's a wrap for this week!

I want to thank you for checking in.

Make sure to hit that like button.

And if you have any questions or comments leave them down below.

If you want to talk about how Blue Fish can help you grow your business just send us a

message and we'll get the conversation started!

Smartphone is all you need to get started on Youtube! (or is it?) - Duration: 11:00.

is a smartphone enough to start a YouTube channel stick around I'm gonna

let you know what I found out

welcome back ladies and gentlemen i'm dan from www.Millennialmotivator.CA

helping you learn how to create engage and inspire if you're new to the channel

go ahead and click that subscribe button down there the little bell next to it

you'll get notified when my next video goes live throw up a video here monday

through saturday with the exception of last week on anything that has to do

with growing your presence online to build your business and better engage

your customers what happened last week for all of you guys that are fans of the

channel and know what's going on typically i put it out a video every day

monday through saturday every single day last week however i had to fly into the

states i had to meet with a bunch of different consultant clients that I work

with and I thought I'd be able to manage doing that work being on-site working

with those teams and shooting video editing video recording video all that

goes with that the reality is this I wanted to test whether or not a

smartphone would be enough for me to shoot video on the road while I'm doing

my business stuff and I can't do a couple different conclusions now those

of you that didn't see any videos last week know that obviously videos didn't

hit YouTube and there's a couple different reasons why and I want to

share my thoughts on this because from the start of this channel I have vouched

over and over again that all you need is a smartphone to get started on YouTube

and I want to give you guys my thoughts on this and break it down a little bit

so if you've ever considered starting a YouTube channel solely with a smartphone

stick around I'm gonna break this down for you okay point number one is gonna

wait a second I'm gonna put a disclaimer on this starting a YouTube channel with

just a smartphone is better than not starting a YouTube channel at all okay

get that out there I want to be clear on that okay now with that being said I

found after having the experience of shooting with a camera shooting with a

desktop camera having my setup here in the office I found switching to a

smartphone to have a large learning curve as any new thing does but there

are a couple key things that got me stuck that I realized

need some additional things if you're gonna make a smartphone work for you on

YouTube so the first one that I found guys and this is a big one is the audio

here in the office I've got a controlled space so a cellphone would work just

fine for controlled space like this where there's not a lot of sound I can

kind of buffer it by closing the door I can control it that way when I was out

and about though in the States cars people whatever that the smartphone mic

picks it all up and so having that level of noise was a big issue and sound is a

big deal when people are listening to a video I know myself I'm still working on

getting the audio perfected after a hundred plus videos audio is so key when

you're shooting and you are immediately off to a really tough start with a

smartphone only now that being said there are attachments you can get for a

smartphone that are a direct mic you can have bluetooth connected lapel mics I'll

put some of those down in the comments below for you guys to check out if this

is something that you're struggling with but audio was terrible for me when I was

out and about there's lots of things happening the smartphone just didn't do

the audio justice and it created some really muffled or crowded audio on the

video so that was a big sticking point for me of when I put out the videos I

like people to be able to hear me at the very least and that was really hard for

me to narrow it out now that being said a lot of people would suggest well just

filter that stuff out in the audio or in the editing process with the audio that

kind of takes me to my next point alright guys so audio was a non-issue

editing is a next editing on just a smartphone proved insanely difficult so

I came to a couple different conclusions in regards to smartphone youtubing and

one of them is this you have to be a one-take guru if you're gonna use a

smartphone okay one tech guru you get in you shoot it

that's it you don't need to segment piece alter audio in any way the

lighting was perfect you managed to shoot the perfect one shot video for

your YouTube Congrats smartphone is for you however that being said most of us

aren't going to shoot videos that way to be able to compile a single one shot

we need several different shots and most likely put b-roll in there you've got

the audio issues issues that I mentioned sometimes there's lighting issues that

you want to be able to adjust and fix and adobe clip I get what it's trying to

be I get what it's trying to do and if you absolutely have to edit with it it's

probably the best of a bunch of bad options but that being said it doesn't

really serve the purpose I highly recommend as I always have go out there

and give an actual editing software for me it's Adobe Premiere I love it and

Adobe clip just pales by comparison it doesn't give you the options it doesn't

give you the flexibility it doesn't give you the control and then actually

exporting the file it's just a huge waste of time and drain on a smart phone

where a desktop obviously does a much better job of it so the editing is a

huge part of why smartphone shooting became difficult and again please

remember that disclaimer that a smartphone video shot and edited on

Adobe clip is better than no YouTube channel whatsoever ok so the other thing

that smartphone would be great for and is now an option is going live okay

so if you have that capability you've got the data or you've got the location

with a great Wi-Fi I highly recommend why there's an option for smart phone

just because it gives you that real life feel but what I found with live was

there weren't any there were additional problems with that outside of the audio

and the lighting that we had already mentioned and that is control of the

camera okay now control of the camera for people

that I said you just need a smartphone becomes difficult because shooting like

this is obviously going to be a bit of a headache and you won't always have

somebody there to hold a camera and film you through a whole live shoot

especially since I know my lives typically B typically tend to be a half

hour to an hour long and the reality is that that's not something that you

you're gonna want to hold your arm up for the entire time so there's a couple

of different solutions for that let's get down to that so guys as far as how

you're going to set it up and control there are a couple different options you

have available to you okay one is the Joby so that

so one is the Jobi okay guys and this little guy here is a great tripod you

can set up on the go it's got a piece that goes in here you can screw it in

and just put your phone off BAM you've got a nice little tripod set up there

and you're ready to roll with it the other option that you've got available

to you is you can get a gimbal like the znq that we showcased a couple weeks

back here again I'll put links down with this stuff below guys so the CM ku

allows you to it's it's a gimbal it's a 3 axis gimbal so it allows you to move

in transition smoothly without the the video footage being all choppy ok which

icon was a major issue because I like to walk and move and talk as I shoot and I

often found myself as I was trying to shoot the first few videos I would be

moving my hand while I'm talking and it made the video this really gross seasick

kind of feeling so the Z and Q would have been a much better option to shoot

with just giving it that stability if you are a hand talker or your self

shooting so tripod is an auction guys the Z and Q is an option selfie stick if

you absolutely have to go that route could work but again it is a major

hassle and it is a major learning curve to get that feel and to get that right

so what are the takeaways that I've got by and large 4 is a smartphone all you

need in order to create a YouTube channel number one can it be done yes it

can be done what I still recommend it I would still recommend getting started

with just a smartphone over not getting started at all okay guys I highly

recommend you get started and improve as you go but if you had the choice between

a home setup or an office setup or a stationary setup or a camera setup all

of those I would personally prefer to the smartphone solo for the reasons of

poor audio control and while there are exceptions you can alter your smartphone

just a smartphone enough isn't to get there isn't enough to get there so

you're going to have to make a point to buy some additional add-ons in order to

make the smartphone work for you lighting lighting is another big one

you can't control I know here in my office I've got it set up so that

there's a window here with natural light right in front of me that allows me the

ability to speak within a well-lit environment whereas on the road that's

not really an option and the smartphone doesn't do a great job of really

controlling your lighting last but not least it's the editing process editing

on a smartphone I found to be extremely difficult there weren't a lot of great

options on it can it be done yes is it optimal know the options inside of an

actual piece of software like Adobe Premiere are far greater than what's

available on something like Adobe click so you can't really fix your audio well

you can't fix your lighting well you can't edit properly the export time

takes in an exorbitant amount of time because it's operating off of your your

smart phone and it also ties up your smart phone while you're doing that so I

just these things are major sticking points for me guys and I am gonna still

tell people that you can start a smart YouTube channel with just a smart phone

but I don't advocate for it as hard as I used to guys it's a very challenging

process with a very steep learning curve I know there are people out there that

do it and they rock it and good on them but for me as somebody who was fairly

new to YouTube at the start of the year coming into this channel trying this for

the first time my verdict on it is it's very difficult has a very high learning

curve it's better than nothing but there are a lot of other better

options out there question of the day is let me know what you think down below if

you shot youtube video with just your smartphone do you think that these are

reasonable conclusions that I've come to you let me know what you think down in

the comments below and I will catch you tomorrow with another great video see

you then

How did your teachers accommodate for you during an exam - Duration: 1:01.

So during my exam I was allowed to have extra time which is really helpful

because in case I do get any concussion symptoms I'm supposed to back off. And so

I'm allowed breaks basically during my exam which helps because I can

split it up and I can split the work up sometimes it's really hard to go

straight into it and write for three hours so it's nice to have breaks. And I

was allowed those breaks which was helpful.

I was also allowed to write in a quiet room so not as many kids were in this

room and there was only like one or two teachers watching us which was nicer

because in the other room there's a bunch of kids in it leaving and coming

and that's very distracting and when you have a post concussion it's very hard to

kind of just not think of distractions and not see them.

Finger gesture launcher is a application that lets you create and use dozens of gesture shortcuts allowing you to access many different features

The process to create gesture shortcuts is very simple

You just have to draw the same gesture three times so the application learns different possible variations of it

And then you have to choose which action the gesture will trigger

This can be opening a specific application making a phone call

Opening a website or whatsapp conversation and even shutting down the device,

once you setup your shortcut

You'll be able to see it on a list of available shortcuts on finger gesture launcher

From this list you can delete any that you no longer want to use, add new ones

edit them, etc, from this point on

You jst have to tap the small magnifying glass icon draw your shortcut and start saving time, one of my favourite actions is to open

Applications by selecting open applications, I will select TVingo plus. I will use the gesture three times

And the setup is done

I'm going to select now a different action. I'm going to select the open web address. I will type

www.bbc.co.uk

press ok..

Then, I will do the gesture three times

And it's done

For last action that I will select

I will go on calls...

Open dialer...

And then setup the gesturer three times again

i will try a C this time and then, it's done as well

In the finger drawing settings

activate the first three options for better customization

Then you can select how you would like your icon

To the size that you want to use, you can select the smallest one

But you can change for the biggest one, it all depends on your taste

I'll select the medium size

In the general settings tab

activate starter finger on startup

And then you have a few extra customization options for the app. You can try select a different color for the drawing panel

Want to try this red one..

Then you can select as well the gesture line color

So now when you press on the finger will show you a red

and then you can design any gesture that you want with a different color

The lock screen settings are still on beta, so I don't recommend on using it and in advance keep it as it is

Let's try now some of the actions that we set up

Finger gesture launcher is an excellent addition to your Android

It lets you customize lots of gesture shortcuts for actions, that otherwise will take you several seconds to perform

Will Bathing in Champagne Get You Drunk? - Duration: 4:16.

- Alright, let's see.

What! Shut the (beep) up!

(funky music)

- Hey, I'm Zack, and today I am taking a bath in champagne

to see if I can get drunk through my skin.

Why champagne?

Because champagne is the highest proof alcohol

that Buzzfeed's legal team would allow us to do.

Also, I like bubbles.

There's not a lot of research

on whether or not you can absorb alcohol through your skin,

so we're going to do this for you, for science.

I've got some friends here to help,

put champagne on me.

Keith, we got Shane, looks like Annie's here,

this is my best friend Ben from New York.

Ben is a doctor and has informed me

that I should be concerned about a UTI,

because, uh, alcohol has sugars,

and sugars in your pee-pee hole is a bad time.

So I'm wearing a condom, and I've rapped it

with rubber bands, this is a very confusing day.

Don't zoom in, don't do that.

But first, to prove that I am not yet drunk,

I am going to take a Breathalyzer.

I didn't have enough breath.

Well, it's zeroes, let's just trust that, huh?

Let's do it!

I mean, let's take our clothes off.

I am, potentially, a little worried.

I'm mostly just worried that it's going to stain.

But, you know, it's Friday, so let's party.

Who wants to pour stuff on me?

(funky music)

- [Woman's Voice] Don't drink any, it's not scientific!

- Sorry, I spit it out.

I'm not drunk yet, but this is definitely

a weird fever dream.

(laughs)

- I don't know, I feel great.

- [Man's Voice] Yeah?

- I feel very relaxed.

- [Man's Voice] Should we Breathalyze him now?

- [Woman's Voice] Yeah, let's do a Breathalyzer.

- Alright, let's see.

What! Shut the (beep) up!

- [Man's Voice] It says .063.

- It says "danger".

(laughing)

- [Man's Voice] However, there's a lot of fumes in the air.

- There's a lot of fumes, it's like, beeping "danger".

- [Man's Voice] Maybe you're butt-chugging on accident.

- [Man In Green] One. It's in the caution level,

and there's a frowny face blinking.

- [Zack] It's really hard right now to know if this is

a placebo or real, but I definitely feel, I feel loopy.

- [Man In Green] Yeah?

- Uh-huh.

- We basically, right now we're trying to see,

is the Breathalyzer picking up on me

or is it just picking up on this.

So Keith is joining me, he's a good bud.

- I'm going to let the fumes get into my mouth.

- Alright, take a Breathalyzer.

- [Zack] My testicles, uh, feel tingly.

- .39?

Not 039, either?

.39?

I'm dead!

I'm dead at this point.

Through our experimentation, we found that anyone

who Breathalyzes right here, it will read way too high.

So we're going to take Zack, get him out of this tub,

douse him with water,

so he doesn't have any fumes on his own body,

and Breathalyze him.

And that should tell us, definitively,

if he's drunk or not.

- Oh it's so cold!

- [Keith] Stop jumping away from it!

- Well, stop making it bad!.

- [Keith] Pretend it's a shampoo commercial.

- I'm your venus.

- [Keith] That's a shaving commercial.

- I'm your fire.

I'm really hoping that I'm at least a little something.

- .02

- (beep) yeah! We did it, America.

- It does seem like his body did absorb some alcohol.

- So, what did we learn here today?

Very exciting, this is a definitive piece

of scientific literature from this point forward.

So my takeaways here are:

if you have $300 and a lot of friends,

then you too can barely get tipsy in a bathtub.

- Yeah, I guess this is not a very

economical way to get drunk.

(funky music)

(yelling)
