Waching daily Nov 2 2018

so this company called UFOVPN reached out to me and they said hey tech doctor

can you please review our brand-new VPN service now this service will be

officially launched sometime in November and it will be a premium service costing

about $9 per month and for that you'll get access to over 200 VPN

servers all over the world now in exchange for me doing this review they

promised me that they will give me 1500 premium accounts for my loyal

subscribers that's you guys so in this video today I'll be doing a review of

this VPN how to install it we'll double-check the privacy policy we'll go

with some of the settings what else you do a speed test we'll make sure that we

do get a brand new IP address when using a service and most importantly I'll show

you exactly what you need to do to get a full premium account on this service one

hundred percent free so with all of that being said let's get started

so I'm doing a demonstration on the second-generation fire stick with Alexa

but this application has dedicated apps for iPhones and also normal Android

devices now if your device like a forester cannot access the Play Store we

need to get the apk a different way and the way we do that is if you use an

application like downloader and let's navigate to this URL which is HTTP colon

slash four slash bit to ly four slash UFO VPN 2019 let's type that in and

click on go when you get to this page click on the green download button now

if you get any kind of message telling you that you need to disable your pop-up

blocker all you need to do is press the contacts key on your remote the one with

the three lines and just select the option to disable JavaScript because in

certain scenarios you make it the error telling you to disable your pop-up

blocker but if we just disable your JavaScript and reload the page you build

access to start button without any problems

let's click on that and this will begin the download of the apk key when you see

this message press down a few times and then press write to install lucky when

you see this message let's click on done this will take us back in to download

down we can now delete here BK just here some of that space back so let's click

on delete and click on delete again now let's press the HOME key and let's now

start up this new VPN now on five six and five TV devices you will have to use

the mouse toggle just to make the connection to the VPN but as soon as

you're connected you can minimize at the application and Karen with your normal

stuff so the mouse talk is just needed for the initial connection

so let's now bring up the virtual mouse by double pressing the play button

there's a virtual mouse there now I've already logged into this and the way you

know you have a premium account is if you could hamburger menu in the top left

ok so I should have logged in slimmies logins that now so click on sign in ok

so I've just typed in my credentials there's now click on sign in now we can

seen on the top left that this is actually a full premium account on this

VPN service and and once again goes at the end of this I'll show you how you

can also get your own premium account with this VPN service ok

so now that we've logged in let's go back to the main screen now one great

thing about privacy hey guys is is when you do get your premium account just

like when I got mine the only information that they ask from you is

just your email address and you create a password so in terms of getting your

personal details like your name or your address or your you know your bank

details your card details knowing that information is actually required all

they require is just an email address and a password so in that way because

you're not really giving out your personal details and in fact you could

actually create a brand new email address just to register for this VPN so

in that way you could feel a bit safer because you're not really passing out

your personal details to anybody okay so let's now click on choose location and

let us see how many servers we have to connect to okay so we've got servers in

United States and actually you click on that we'll see there are multiple

servers in the United States for us to connect to let's go further down then

you go Canada Germany UK Netherlands Russia Ireland France Japan Australia

India Singapore Hong Kong South Korea and then finally Israel so so you do

have quite a few different countries or different areas for you to connect to

and most of these do actually have a couple of options in them

let me just scroll back up I just remember to scroll down or scroll back

up using the mouse toggle you press the Ford key to scroll down and you press

the options key or the contacts he'd one of the three lines to scroll back up

okay so protests let me now connect to a UK VPN server we can then see what my IP

addresses and then we can then connect to another server in another country and

now IP address should then change okay we can see that's now connected we can

now press the HOME key on the remote let's now open up a browser like silk

let's check our IP address so the website a normally used for IP checking

is IP location dotnet which I should have saved over here okay here we go

okay we can see my IP address here begins with 139 and ends in 69 and

scrolling further down this confirms that this IP address is an IP address

based in the UK actually just to confirm so if you were to use a website that

requires connectivity from a USA based IP address like Zuma TV or to B TV in

theory they shouldn't work so let us try those now

let's try yet-to-be tv.com now we can see that this is not gonna work for me

because it requires you to have an IP address from the USA and I'm currently

using an IP address from UK so that's also not gonna work so it's now minimize

out of this let's go back to our VPN and let's now choose a server in United

States so once again let's bring up the virtual mouse and we can now click on

this to disconnect let's go back to choose location and it's time let's

choose a server in let's go for New York

no because that's connected pretty much straight away let's now press the HOME

key and let's go back to our browser let's now refresh this page and there we

have it guys we can now confirm that because our VPN has allocated us an IP

address based in United States or New York we can now access his website

without any problems in fact let's double check my IP address let's go back

to I P location tour now and we can see I have a brand new IP address beginning

with 104 and ending in 197 and the location is in fact New Jersey so in

terms of the VPN giving us new IP addresses we can definitely confirm

that's working correctly and now because of the new IP address we can now access

geo restricted sites like to be TV or like zoom I don't know and access

content I would have normally been blocked for us so when I run the speed

test with the VPN running I consistently go around about 18 or 19 Meg which I

thought was actually quite slow because normally my normal speed without a VPN

is about 70 Meg now reached out to the company asking them that you know why

the speeds are slow is this normal and funny enough that she said to me yes so

what they've done is because they're a new company and they're still building

out the infrastructure instead of just giving everybody a limited bandwidth

which is gonna cause problems because they just don't have the capacity to

handle that many users with unlimited bandwidth the Russia / cap of 20 Meg on

all accounts now 20 mega solve is more than enough for you know video streaming

I mean a specifically HD streaming to streaming HD movie as long as you have

about 10 mega so that's more than enough so giving every 20 Meg means that they

can do all the streaming that they want with the privacy

with the protection and allows the company to scale up their infrastructure

and network without affecting everybody else so that way I can understand the

logic behind there and they promise that within a month or so they'll be

increasing I cap to a teammate which would be more than enough everybody and

I'm really looking forward to those changes let's just do one more speed

test now we can see once again that the speed is consistent so downstream on

getting around about 18 Meg enough streams around about 15 to 20 Meg's so

we can see that we are just under the cap of 20 Meg that they've said now I

did take a quick look at their privacy policy and we can see it says that a UFO

VPN does not and will not collect or store traffic data DNS queries browsing

history or VPN connection destination but to be honest guys because we know

actually entering in any personal details other than the email address and

once again if you want to you can create a brand new email address that you can

use to register for the premium account so really you know giving up any

personal information anyway but still we can't just see that they say that

they're not going to collect or store your traffic data definitely not your

DNS queries or your browser history and even your VPN connection destination is

not going to be stored so and that way you can't feel a bit more confidence

when using a service because a didn't have any information of the new email

address about you anyway and secondly in a privacy policy they're saying they're

not gonna store or log any data so really it is positive on both fronts so

in summary guys I said this VPN does have a lot of potential I like the fact

that we do have the native choice both for iOS and for Android it would have

been nice if there was a native client for fire sticks but that is something

that the development teams can work on I like the fact that with the premium

account of course you have northwards on top of that you get access to all the

servers globally and I believe that once the service does go fully live there

will be over 200 servers 200 VPN servers all over the world for you to connect to

now with the speed thing as mentioned you are capped at 20 Meg just while

they're building out the infrastructure but again 20 Meg is more than enough to

do HD streaming and if you've never used a VPN before you can now use this VPN

and get the privacy get the protection and still have enough bandwidth to

stream HD content so in that way guys it really is a win-win situation but the

question is how do you actually get a premium account on this service so the

1,500 account score is off of my subscribers only so if you're not

subscribe our click on link in the description and

to this page here here you can see you an option to click on subscribe' let's

click on that now this will then take you to YouTube where you can click on

subscribe again and this will now make your subscriber now when you go back to

the same page again we can see that this is greater which means it knows that

you're a subscriber then all we need to do then is just wait for 10 seconds as

soon as it detects that you're a subscriber you will then get you a

special code that you can use to get a full premium account on this VPN service

and everything you see here is the special link here let's click on that

now and here we have it guys we can now enter in our email address and password

this will then send you an activation link and your VPN account will then

become fully activated and fully premium so enter in your email enter in your

password click on the activation link and you're all good to go and that's all

for this video guys many thanks for watching I know lots of you don't have a

VPN because you don't want to spend any money on it so this could be a great way

to get a premium VPN and for the people that already have a VPN like ipvanish

renaud VPN this could be a great backup that you could use 100% freeze so do let

me know you like it leave me a comment below and i'll hopefully catch up with

you guys real soon thanks

Safety permits: Simplify and automate safety permit completion and workflows with Dashpivot - Duration: 8:35.

Hi everyone, it's Sam from Sitemate. Permits are authorising documents

containing approvals to proceed with usually hazardous types of work, so in

this video we're going to look at how permit workflows can be set up inside of

Dashpivot to allow you to track and manage permits with more speed and control. So

you'll see that we've already added in a excavation permit, of course you can set

up different types of permits in Dashpivot: hot works, lifting permits,

working at Heights, the whole suite. This particular

excavation permit has been set up as a workflow, because it needs to be signed

off by multiple people. The way that that works is if I was to add a permit it's

going to be created and moved into this very first column and then as

each person signs it off it's going to move from column 1, to column 2, to

column 3 and so on, so nothing's been created just yet, so I'm going to go

ahead and add a permit, you see that we've got the the form already set up

maybe where it's coming to the end of October, maybe we need to set up a

new permit for next month, so we're going to put in the first of November until

the 30th of November, so 30 days the permit expiry date is of course the 30th

and you see that once I've made that selection we've got a little indicator

over here that tells us when the permit expires, and this is like a counter so

tomorrow it's going to say 29, the day after that it's

going to say 28, every single time we open this form this is going to indicate

how many days are left before this particular permit expires

based on the date which has been filled in, so we can go ahead and start to fill

out some of these, maybe we're doing some service relocating for example and of

course we can go through this entire document and start to

fill out some of these as required, obviously I'm just flying through this,

you'll notice that we've got some signatures in this case because we've

got four columns in our workflow, we're going

to have three what we call 'approval signatures' so you'll see that it tells

me that sign to move this to the next column and you'll see that

we've got three of those, so one two three that have this text next to it

because it's been set up as an approval signature and these need to happen in

sequential order, so I can't sign this one off until I've done this one and I'm

not going to be able to able to sign this one off until we've done this one

so if I go ahead and I'll show you how this works. So if I click "Save" we've now

got our permit sitting in this first column, sitting with this permit creator,

and if I was to open this up and scroll back down again and click sign, it's

going to lock all of this information up here so you'll see that we can't

change any of this anymore, we can't change those dates or anything

we've got all of that there and it's moved to the next column because we've

signed it off, and the other thing about permit workflows is

that we can set up notifications so as it moves from the permit creator

to the project manager, maybe we want the project manager to receive an email

notification via email, so instead of traditionally

managing permits, you download the word doc or

the Excel spreadsheet, fill it out, you print it out, you sign it, you

scan it back in, email it to someone back and forth or you might have to

drive to another site to get a signature so you're losing a lot of

time there. With Dashpivot, it's completely different, it's all stored inside of Dashpivot

in the cloud where everyone can access it from their mobile, or the

website, or a tablet, so it's all kept in one place and it's really easy to sign

things off. Coming back to the workflow notifications, what we can do

is assign people to receive an email notification when a form moves into this

column, so in this case maybe nick is the project manager, so I'm gonna select Nick,

and you see that this little icon turns blue which means that we've turned a

notification on and we can click on that and see who's going to receive a

notification, if we want to subscribe ourselves to receive a notification so

being logged in as Sam, if I want to notify myself I

can click this bell here, and that's going to send me an email notification

every time a form moves into this particular column; if I want to receive

multiple notifications for each column I can just go ahead and click

the bell in each of these and you'll see that yes I get these messages that tell

me that that's been set up. The only other thing that I would say for permits

in particular is that we have the ability inside the forms to add PDFs, so

if I scroll down to the bottom we've got a section for uploading attachments,

in the case of an excavation permit maybe it's services drawings, we can

easily add those into this form, on the mobile device we can also mark them up

so we can open it up and add some annotations if we need to, add

some required detail and save those inside of the form, and

we've got we've got two other features which I'd like to point out

specific for permits: We've got this manual signature here which is for

workers who are coming to site who need to sign on to this

particular permit; they won't have; or most of the time they won't have

a Dashpivot account, so in this case they can click "Add manual signature"

you can do the same thing on the phone and it's just going to prompt for a

first name, a last name, company and then their signature, so they can just draw

their signature and then that will get stamped onto this particular form, you

can add multiple people so that you've you've got all of those those signatures

inside of this permit. And the last thing is being able to download it if

you need to take a hardcopy out to site, you can click this button up the top

here, download PDF, I can click that it'll put it on a company branded PDF.

I can take that out to site in case we need to have a hard

copy there. Overtime, you're gonna have more permits sitting in all of

these columns maybe something that looks a little bit more like this.

The great thing about Dashpivot is that generating a permit

register is really easy, we can just convert all of these forms that we've

got here; all of these permits into a register

with one click so you can see in the register view that we've got all of our

fields inside the template just organised as columns, and we can

scroll across and view all of that information. The great thing about Dashpivot

is that we can start to apply some filters here if we need to, so

maybe we want to look at all the permits that are about to expire this current

month, so we can keep track of all of those there and we can export this

information if we need to, so we can simply make a selection either

all of them or individually push it into Excel if we need to by exporting a CSV,

or we can download the forms or we can download this particular register

as a PDF; we've got all of that functionality built right in. That pretty

much sums up this video for safety permits. If you want to get started with

any of the permits inside of Dashpivot, we have some available inside our

free public template library so if you click "Add template" we've got this

option to choose from free public template library, we can click on that and if we

search for permit you'll see that we've got a series of permits ready to go off

the shelf and of course you can make any adjustments to the permits

which you add to your team as per the requirements of your organisation, and

that's really how you can set up permit workflows and track and

manage your permits with speed and control with Dashpivot.
