Hello World, In this video, You will learn how to print Large Artwork with regular A4

Printer & with help of Illustrator!

Here I have a landscape oriented artwork which I want to print in large size.

But my printer supports only A4 Papers!

There is a way to get it done.

The method is one type of Life-Hack; so you don't want to do that in your commercial projects.

You should use this method to print Posters and other designs for your personal use only.

Before we start, temporary hide all the unwanted items.

Go to File >

Print.

Here we can see the thumbnail preview of the final print layout.

From here you can use previously saved setting presets.

Here you can choose the Printer.

I don't have my printer attached so I will select PDF option.

You should still select the PDF option even if you have a printer connected.

Inspect the output PDF and then go for Printing.

here set how many copies you want.

Select the artboard from here.

in case of multiple artboards, Define the Range or a particular number.

Here you set the Paper Size.

I will select 'A4'.

Turn of Auto-Rotate option.

Select "Visible & Printable Layers".

From "Scaling" dropdown options; Select "Tile Full Pages".

If your printer supports Full Bleed Printing then you can select "Tile Imageable Areas".

But mine doesn't support so I'll choose "Tile Full Pages".

You can see the artwork has divided into four A4 size Pages.

This placement alignment depends on the artwork and your preference.

Corner placement will save some scissor work.

I will just keep it centered.

Please "Do Not Drag the Mouse" inside thumbnail area.

that will change the placement settings.

This Overlap feature is much useful for this printing method.

It gives us extra space at the Edges of the adjacent pages.

So we can easily stick them together without losing the artwork.

Let me show you what that is:

Suppose these are four a4 size pages.

If you set overlap to 0 then you will have to join the printed pages Edge to Edge.

but setting overlap value larger than 0 will give us some extra space with "repeated printing".

I will show you an example at the end.

So I will set it to 0.25 inch.

Change the orientation as you want.

But also notice that it will require more or fewer pages depending on placement.

Define the Tile Range if you want to print only Page 2 & 3. or Page no 2 to 4.

You can scale up or down the artwork.

The unit is Percentage.

When you click on "Done", It won't start Printing or Export PDF.

It only saves the setting in the document.

so you can change it later.

Before printing, check the other options related to printing.

To Print or export the PDF, Click on "Print" button.

It will ask to choose a folder location for the PDF.

Here I've opened the exported PDF into Adobe Reader's Side by Side view.

Letter 'e' & 'a' from page one and two indicate that overlapping has done well as we set.

Now join them and hang it on your wall.

Ricky Vernon Smith is a FedEx worker facing a possible murder charge for allegedly pulling out a knife and stabbing a father of five in a road rage incident that left the man dead.

Smith and Williams did not appear to know one another prior to the incident.

Smith is being held at San Diego Central Jail pending an arraignment on Nov.

29. Here's what you need to know:.

The Incident Occurred as the Result of an Altercation While the Men Were on the Road.

The exact details of the road rage incident that triggered the stabbing spree are not yet known.

Here's what is known: police suspect the dispute between Williams and Smith happened somewhere near National City, and that Williams and Smith stopped their cars at several points to yell at one another.

Eventually, Smith threw a soda can at Williams and used his Ford pickup truck to ram Williams' minivan.

After that, Smith passed William then braked abruptly in front of the car, causing a second collision before he got out of the car and approached Williams.

Smith then punched Williams through the driver window and stabbed him several times.

Several witnesses described Williams getting out of the car, and stumbling a few steps before collapsing onto the road.

Williams succumbed to these stab wounds later on in the hospital.

Smith Was in His FedEx Uniform at the Time, But He Isn't a Delivery Driver.

Though Smith isn't a delivery driver for FedEx, he does work for the company at a local processing facility.

It's unclear whether Smith was technically on the clock at the time of the incident.

FedEx has not yet released a statement on the incident.

A witness said of the incident, "And then I seen the FedEx guy, he reached into his pocket, and he grabbed a knife, and just started stabbing him right there, and the guy was still seated.

Horace Williams Was Identified at the 36-Year-Old Father of Five Who Smith Stabbed to Death.

Update: Stabbing victim in apparent road rage stabbing is Horace Williams, 36.

His brother tells me he was father of 5 daughters including 1 1/2 year old twins.

Suspect Rickey Smith, 60, was church organist at St Stevens Church of God.

Everyone who knows both are shocked.

Following Smith's arrest, the name of the victim was revealed to be 36-year-old Horace Williams, who was a father of five and engaged to be married.

The GoFundMe page for Williams describes him as "a funny, laid back and amazing person.A son, a brother, cousin, irreplaceable friend/partner and father to 5 beautiful little girls.".

Williams had just dropped off two of his girls at school when the incident happened.

Two of his daughters are just over a year old.

Smith Surrendered Peaceably to Officers at the Scene; He & His Wife Are Very Involved With Their Church.

According to The San Diego Tribune, Smith surrendered peaceably to officers at the scene of the crime, and is cooperating with authorities.

Smith, 60, is an organist at St.

Stephen's Cathedral Church Of God In Christ, in his community of Valencia.

His wife is similarly involved, and runs a youth ministries program for the church as well.

It's unclear whether the Smiths have any children.

A GoFundMe Has Been Set up to Help Support Williams' Family.

In the wake of Williams' passing, a GoFundMe has been set up to help support the family.

With a goal of $30,000, the GoFundMe page reads, "To say that we will miss you Horace, is an understatement.

Miss is just not enough.

Our hearts are empty, a piece is gone.".

It continues, "We are asking for your help.

Lots of help.

He has 5 beautiful daughters, two of which are just over a year old.

Please help mine and my husbands cousin and his family through this heart breaking time.

Anything anyone can contribute towards funeral costs, these beautiful girls, their future and his amazing fiancé is appreciated greatly.".

'Why aren't you photographing my husband?' How Princess Diana 'tipped off' an Australian paparazzo

Princess Diana apparently 'tipped off' a notorious paparazzo about her husband Prince Charles' affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles, a year before it was revealed.

Australian photographer Darryn Lyons - who earned millions of dollars selling images of the late Diana through his Big Pictures agency - made the bombshell claims during an interview with WHO magazine on Thursday.

Lyons, 53, alleged that around six to 12 months before 'Squidgygate' - referring to the series of phone conversations between Diana and her friend James Gilbey that were leaked to the British press - the royal had 'subtly' hinted at her husband's infidelity.

Speaking of one of his many encounters with Diana, Lyons claimed: 'She knocked on my door one day and said, "Why aren't you photographing my husband?".

And I said, "Why would I be photographing him?" He's got big ears, a big nose and he's ugly and talks to trees" - even though I have a lot of respect for the Prince of Wales.

'It was a subtle tip-off about his affair with Camilla - about six to 12 months before Squidgygate broke. The 1990 phone conversations between Diana and James Gilbey, dubbed Squidgygate by the British media, were first leaked in 1992.

Publication of the intimate phone calls marked a flashpoint in the so-called 'War of the Waleses' and accelerated the royal couple's separation and subsequent divorce. 'Camillagate', an alleged transcript of intimate calls between Charles and Camilla, was also soon exposed.

The transcript, which was first printed by Australian magazine New Idea, was said to have been made from a recorded conversation that took place in 1989.

Diana and Charles married in 1981, before welcoming sons Prince William and Harry in 1982 and 1984 respectively. They eventually divorced in 1996.

It comes after Lyons recently questioned the official details of the death of Princess Diana, saying he had 'huge questions' about what happened in the infamous Paris car crash in August 1997.

The former 'King of the Paparazzi' told Sydney's Daily Telegraph earlier this month that the official account of the tragic accident 'isn't necessarily the truth'.

He said: 'Everyone says it was a tragic accident. some very strange things happened that night and I was a part of many of the strange things that happened that night.'.

However, he admitted to having 'no proof that the Princess of Wales was murdered'.
