This is one of the biggest things you should consider when starting your network marketing
career...
Hey this is Steve from NetworkMarketingPerformance.com.
And the big thing you should consider before starting your network marketing career is
where you're going to find your people to enroll into your business or buy your products.
Whether you are just looking or in earlier stages of your network marketing career, acquiring
quality leads, prospects and business builders is the life blood to your business.
You can do this by warm market prospecting, cold market prospecting, online marketing,
offline marketing, advertising in print or online, buying leads from companies and many
other creative ways.
I recommend you check out some of the videos we have on this subject.
Also check out the vast amount of information on this topic online to get a better understanding
and some ideas of what you think you would be willing to take on and not to do.
Because having a clear understanding of what you would be willing to do and not willing
to do to acquire quality leads, prospects and business builders is vital to get your
business off the ground and to have long term success.
So warm market prospecting is talking to your friends and family about your product, service
or company.
And cold market prospecting is talking to strangers or people you don't know very well
about it.
Online marketing could be a blog or a website and offline marketing could be posters, signs
or flyers.
There's advertising in print like in magazines or newspapers and also online advertising
like Google AdWords or Facebook banner adds.
There's also buying leads directly from a third-party companies that are ready to call
right away.
When I got started I was taught warm market prospecting at the beginning.
Then when you max that out go to cold market prospecting until you became financially free
and that was it, you were done.
What I quickly realized was, I hated in-person cold market prospecting.
Warm market was ok but still wasn't a huge fan.
I was young and practically just out of high school and didn't know about all the other
ways you could build your business.
So when I ran out of friends and family to talk to and then realized I didn't want do
cold market prospecting long term...I was stuck.
I was taught that these were the two ways to build a network marketing business, and
I thought "well, since I don't want to do these methods, I guess network marketing isn't
for me" and faded away.
Lucky for me I kept my eyes on the industry and found out these other ways to build it.
And as a result, got me re-engaged with network marketing.
It really is important to find a strategy you can stick with long-term because in most
cases, people that are successful in network marketing wind-up personally enrolling 30-40
reps, sometimes even more to create a high level of achievement.
And if you were like me, not using the right strategy for yourself, you will only wind-up
enrolling a handful of people before saying "forget it!
It's not worth it!"
And never be able to reach your goals or succeed.
Well I hope this video inspired you to do some research and to give your prospecting
process some thought.
I would love to hear some comments or stories about if you have ever picked the wrong prospecting
strategy for yourself.
Because they are usually pretty horrifyingly hilarious.
