Waching daily Nov 6 2018

Hey there everyone!

Today I want to talk to you about Five different ways that you can repurpose video content.

I'm Tricia Clements with MuttButs.com and I want to talk to you about your videos – one

of the things you know that I love the most are videos.

You've spent a lot of time working on your videos whether is it a live stream or a video

that you've recorded and edited.

So, you want to make the most mileage out of that video as you can and the best wat

to do that is to repurpose your videos.

The number one way that you can repurpose that video is on YouTube - The first place

that you want to make sure that you put that video is on YouTube.

That is because YouTube is the number two search engine – just behind Google, the

number one search engine and guess what?

Yes, Google owns YouTube.

You know when you look and search on Google a lot of times on the top search, you'll

find links to YouTube videos and that is not by accident.

So, the first place that you want to do is to put them on YouTube.

You're going to want to make sure that they're properly sized for YouTube.

And that is going to be a horizontal video 1920x1080 – so, make sure that you got it

there.

The main reason for that is to make sure that you get the most eyes on it to make sure that

it is properly sized so that YouTube will get you video out there.

Make sure that you're optimizing it with all the information, the meta data, the tags,

the description, all of that good information.

The second place you need to put your video is on Facebook.

Make sure that you upload your video to Facebook, not just share a link of your YouTube video.

The reason that you're going to do that is because Facebook and Google is kind of

a little bit of a war trying to gain market share from one another and because of that

if you're sharing a link from your YouTube video – when you scroll down your feed in

Facebook that video will not automatically start playing.

It is going to simply be a link.

So, you want to make sure that in your feed when people scroll and they see it – the

video automatically starts playing the way to do that is to upload it directly to Facebook.

And if you have done a Facebook live that this one and then you are going to take that

and put that – let's say on YouTube.

Make sure that you – I really prefer using my phone for my Facebook lives and that is

a vertical which is a 1080x1920 which is basically the opposite of YouTube.

So, I will just take my videos and put it into – I use ShotCut a video editor, make

sure you're sizing your videos the best for the platform.

And for Facebook I like to have either square videos or the – if it's going to be a

Facebook Live I prefer the vertical videos.

If it is – just when you're uploading, you can upload a vertical.

That's fine as well.

The number three place you should put your video is on IGTV.

Now Instagram it says their long form video format and it hasn't pickup quite as much

of I know they were hoping it would.

However, it only takes five to ten minutes extra to make sure that you got your video

formatted for that, so go ahead and put that on IGTV.

The format for that is again vertical which is the… let's see… the 1080x1920.

Alright!

So that's IGTV.

Make sure that you're uploading it, add your description and all of that.

The one thing about IGTV is so far, they're not allowing you to do anything additional

like uploading a transcription which is extremely important.

You really should be going into your YouTube and Facebook and uploading transcriptions

for your videos.

Even after you've done like a Facebook live, later on I'll go back and upload a transcript

of this video.

So, you want to make sure that you do that.

The number four thing that you want to do is use video clips and what I mean by that

is you have a long video and every video the link is really different as far as what you're

using it for, as far as what's the best link of the video is.

However, I like to do videos anywhere from two and a half to ten minutes long.

So what I'll do is I'll take that long video – take one little snippet of information

from the video maybe fifteen to forty-five seconds long and just create a short video

teaser for that.

And it will say "Here's one of the tips!

Click to see the full video for all the rest of the TIPS."

And that is something you've already got the video done, you just snip a little bit

out of it.

When I do that, I like to do a square videos 1080x1080.

The reason I like to do that is because square shows up really well specially on mobile and

that's where a lot of people are watching the videos around their mobile phones.

So, that is why I like to go ahead and just do a square video for the short video clips.

Now the last thing that you're going to want to make sure you do is put your video

on your blog.

Now, remember I said "You need to make sure you transcribe your videos", so when you

transcribe take that transcript and basically put it into a format that is going to be readable

for blog content and then embed your video in your blog.

Now you can embed from any of the places you have directly uploaded it whether you got

it on YouTube – there's and embed link, Facebook, IGTV, all of those have a link that

you can embed directly into your blog.

You want to embed it and not simply uploaded it to your website.

The reason is which every place - let's say you're going to embed your YouTube video

on your blog, that means when people come to your website, they watch your video you're

going to get that watch time on YouTube from your website.

YouTube picks up that the video is being watch so you're going to get that credit on your

social media for YouTube and that's really important for your platform.

So basically, as far as which one you want to embed it really depends on where you want

to those views.

So that's really up to you and what you're doing for your strategy for social media.

Alright!

You have my five TIPS for repurposing your video content and those are my top five.

So, if you have any others, I would like to hear them in the comments below – just post

them and I'll come back and check them out.

Thanks so much for watching and I'll see you soon.

Bye everyone!

Wrist Blood Pressure Monitors Vs Arm Cuff (Wrist Blood Pressure Monitors Pros and Cons) - Duration: 10:10.

Hello, wrist blood pressure monitors

wrist blood pressure monitors have

actually grown in popularity in the last couple of years

But the question is this: do they actually do what

they are designed for? That is to say:

do they give you accurate blood

pressure readings?

That's what this video is about. I want to say a word or two about

Wrist blood pressure monitors versus upper arm monitors

The key phrase there is: 'accurate blood pressure readings'

Do these wrist blood pressure monitors actually give you accurate blood pressure readings?

That's what this video is about, so stay tuned

And I'll see you after the channel intro

Welcome back. I'm Dr Joe of TheDrJoe.com

So, wrist blood pressure monitors have grown in popularity

Everyone seems to be buying them and using them to monitor

their blood pressure at home. That's not a bad thing.

But I'm really concerned about what those wrist blood pressure

monitors are delivering

Compared to this stuff.

This is the upper arm monitor.

So, I'll start with the positives

Well, the wrist blood pressure monitors are easy to use

So long as you can actually wrap

a wrist watch around your wrist, you can

use them. They are just like a wrist watch

Wrap them round and off you go. You get your blood pressure readings

So, they are very easy to use.

There's no dexterity involved in actually using them

The 2nd thing is; they're very portable

Because they are smaller than this one

Than the upper arm monitors.

So, they are very easy to put or fit into your bag and

Off you go, if you're travelling, you can take them along with you

That is not to say; these are bulky. I mean

these ones are also easy to carry around

But in comparison to the upper arm monitors

They are smaller. So, I'll give that to them

Now, Accuracy of blood pressure readings because that's the most

important factor

in all of this

Do they give accurate blood pressure readings? I'll tell you a story

I first came across

wrist blood pressure monitors

a couple of years ago. About 4, 5, 6 years ago...

I saw a full-page ad in a newspaper

talking about these wrist blood pressure monitors

I thought, that's a great idea.

And I thought, I will get one. So, I got one for myself

It arrived in the post a couple of days later and

I was very keen to get on with it

So I applied it and I was getting some really wild blood pressure readings

on the left arm.

Or left wrist, I should say

I did it twice. I was getting ridiculous readings like

240/160 mmHg

I thought; that's not right

I transferred to the right wrist. Same thing.

I was getting wild readings

Of course, because I have this one at home

I double-checked with that and I was getting low readings

At the time my blood pressure was well-controlled

I didn't believe the readings I was getting from it

So I called the

the retailer

Okay, may be that's a dodgy one, so

they said I should send it back

They sent me another one. Same result.

Nothing changed. So, I sent it back.

And I bought some more brands ever since

at the time

I tried them and to be honest

I got the same wild readings

So, the point is: they don't give accurate readings

In terms of accuracy, they fail on that one

If you get decent readings, that's probably sporadic

You need something you can rely on

So, accuracy? There's a very big doubt

about wrist blood pressure monitors

as far as accuracy of blood pressure readings is concerned

Just to underscore the point about accuracy, let me give a review. What I'll call

an honest review by a customer from that popular retailing website

So this customer wrote and I quote

He says:

I'm really disappointed with this product

The readings were wildly off

compared to my doctor's monitor

and it was dubious to say the least

I want to return this product and get a full refund

That's what I call an honest review

So, why do the wrist monitors give unreliable readings?

Well, for a start,

the wrist blood pressure monitors

they're ultra-sensitive to the body's position

compared to the upper arm monitors

So, that's the 1st reason. The 2nd reason is

when you're trying to measure your blood pressure

the cuffed part of the body, whether it is the wrist or the arm

it should be at the level of the heart

and as you can tell, this is not a natural position for the wrist

It's not a very natural position for the wrist to be in

For the arm, the arm is

already at the level of the heart

So, all it needs is a little bit of elevation

and you are right there

So, this is a natural position for the upper arm

That's the 2nd point

The 3rd point is that, the artery that

you 're trying to measure the blood pressure off

with the wrist monitor is called the Radial Artery

The radial artery is narrower and

is a lot more superficial compared to

the Brachial Artery from which you're taking the blood pressure off

with the

Upper arm monitors

the brachial artery is bigger and more deeply set

compared to the radial artery

that is more superficial and narrower

So, the blood pressure readings you get from the Radial artery are

usually higher compared to the Brachial artery

it then begs the question; why do people

go for the wrist blood pressure monitors

instead of using the regular

upper arm monitors

One reason is this. Some people have

a big arm

In which case, this regular size cuff

won't do. It's going to give abnormally high readings

So, they then go

for the wrist blood pressure monitor because

it doesn't require a huge cuff

Well, the way around that is; you go online and

search for

'big cuff for upper arm monitors'

So, you just buy a bigger cuff. So that takes care of that problem

Indeed if you go online, you're going to see a lot of options

for you to buy the bigger cuff

The other issue is that

to use the upper arm monitor, it does require a

certain amount of dexterity

And some people have issues with that. Here's what I'd say:

What you need to do is; always thread

the free end of the cuff

through the metal guide

Always thread it all the time. Have it threaded through

All you then need to do when you want to measure your blood pressure

You just slip your hand, your forearm through

And then slide it up

All you then need to do is FASTEN

Have it threaded through like this ready all the time

You might think by

virtue of this presentation that I am Anti-Innovation

Well, I am not. Nothing could be further from the truth

The thing is; I'm all for Innovation

But if innovation does not come with reliability, then I'll be asking myself the

question: what is the point?

I've tested a lot of these wrist blood pressure monitors

and in my opinion, they fail the Reliability Test

It's for that reason, I will NOT recommend the wrist blood pressure monitors

for you of you are watching this video

Stick with this upper arm monitors

They are reliable. They give accurate readings

So long as they are well calibrated

Ask yourself this.

When was the last time you went into a hospital or a doctor's office

and you saw them using the wrist blood pressure monitors?

After all,

these wrist blood pressure monitors have been around for a good number of years now

Why haven't they made their way into

the hospital environment. It's for that same reason

They are NOT reliable

Because they are very convenient to use and we should be using them in hospital

But we don't.

It's because they are not reliable

By the way, I have done

a video on the checklist, the guidelines on

for

getting your blood pressure right every time

The video should be up there now.

See if you can watch it

I've also done a video on

the simple things you can do.

Simple things in life that you can do

That would help you to reduce your blood pressure

The video should be up there now as well

might benefit from watching this video

The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail! - Emma Stark, Glasgow Prophetic Centre - Duration: 4:29.

Hi everyone! I want you to look over my shoulder and you will see a cave. That

cave is considered to be the physical gates of hell on the earth! Yes, you did

hear me right! That is the physical 'gates of hell' on the earth. I am standing

in Caesarea Philippi and, in the days of Jesus, there would have been a massive

temple here to the god of Pan that we would know that as the god of

'pandemonium'. And the camera will pan right and you will see some of the

shrines that are carved in the wall where there would have been statues to

the gods and to Ba'al that was thought to come and go to the earth realm from the

spirit realm through this cave. And the statues of the foreign gods would have

depicted awful sexual, perverse acts. Now, why am I telling you that?

Because one day Jesus gathers his twelve disciples, most of whom were probably very young

men - late teens, early 20s - and he says, 'We're going to go to the physical gates

of hell, we're gonna go to Caesarea Philippi - we're gonna go to the place

with the dirtiest morals within walking distance of Jesus' earthly ministry'. And

Jesus and these young disciples - they come and they stand at the gate of

Hell on the earth and it is in that place that Jesus, in Matthew 16, chooses

to say words you will know very well: 'I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH and the gates of

Hell...' ...and you can just imagine Jesus pointing over a shoulder... '...and the gates

of hell - all that you see here, all the force of darkness, cannot prevail against

it!' Now, you will know in the original translation that it says, 'I will build

my 'ecclesia' (or 'ekklesia' if you pronounce it with an American accent) but I will

build my 'ecclesia'. And that word for ecclesia in Matthew 16 actually

means legislative body or governing assembly. It doesn't mean, 'I'm gonna build

a nice, sweet household / I'm gonna build all people together'. It means, 'I'm gonna

build a military force that will govern and legislate for my kingdom!' And Jesus

comes to the place of greatest darkness and he says to us, 'No don't think about

being a family but think in this moment that I'm gonna build you into an army

and nothing will prevail up against it! And I will give you the keys of the

kingdom.' And it is in this place that Jesus says, 'Look, I'm giving to you all

power and all authority. I'm giving to you the keys to lock and unlock things, to

decide what happens in your region in your nation and to decide what does not

happen. You are the people that I am entrusting with great spiritual weight and authority.

This place means an awful lot to me personally. We called my son

'Peter' after this place because of course Jesus says, 'Peter, I'm going to start with

you. I'm going to start with you'.

But my father - Dad come and give a bit of a wave!

My father was here 40 years ago. I heard him for 40 years as a theologian

preach about this place and then my husband - my husband you have to see him...

...we came here before and then I brought my daughter as well - Jessica come and

give a wave to the people who are watching! And it's not just about the generations

of my family understanding what Jesus said in this place but is for you to

grasp hold as you watch: That there is a force of God and an anointing

bestowed upon you that you can stand against the most horrific things

and you can decree for the kingdom of light. And so as we raise as a family

here our hands towards you, I release a blessing to you - that courage would come

and land upon you that boldness would be resurrected within you and that you

would know and it would be infused within your beings

the truth that Jesus said when he stood right by this cave that nothing can

stand against the people of God as he raises His Ecclesia up!

God bless you!

What Gives You Courage? - Duration: 1:01.

- What gives me courage?

My business, I actually put myself out there all the time

and put out my art form and that gives me courage

just to put it out and feel like people

should come and enjoy it.

I was very nervous at first

just trying to find out if anyone

would even enjoy what I did.

But after years of working at it, they do.

My hopes were a lot higher than what they should've been.

My expectations took several, like I said, several years

to get to where they needed to be.

But it's that one sale, it's that first customer

that comes by and says, this is exactly what I wanted.

Well for me it's accomplishment

it's me that's saying this is what I was able to build

from nothing and now I make more money

doing this full time as I do with my degree in psychology.

So now I'm a registered artist

down at the Art's Asylum at ninth and Harrison.

I do this full time.

I have all the freedom in the world.

It's my company.

Art of Life-ing with Keka: How formal should you be with your partner? - Duration: 4:52.

How formal should you be with your partner? That's the question we're asking

today on "The Art of Life-ing with Keka"

[MUSIC]

A few years back a client once said to me, when she overheard me talking to my

husband at the end of the day, "Oh my goodness! You are so formal with your

husband!" So, I said to her, "What do you mean?" She said, "Well, I just heard you say:

'Hi honey! Can you pick up some dinner on the way home? Would you mind? I have to

work a little bit late. I hope that's okay with you. I really appreciate your

understanding." And I thought, I kind of, always talked to my husband that way!

The funny thing is that I don't see it as being "formal" per se, I really feel

like it's more, just being nice! And sometimes, you know, when you get together

in a relationship, and you get to know somebody much better, the boundaries

break down. You do tend to be less formal. But sometimes, I think there is a place

to not let go of that "niceness." And, actually, this is something that I let -

learned, as a lesson, from my husband really early on in our marriage. So, about

21 years ago, I was working part-time. I was making like $8.57

an hour. I was cognizant of every penny and every

dollar that I was saving up. And I went to the mall, and I went to a bank machine

and I was going to deposit some money. So, I had had a long day. I wasn't really

paying attention. I went in, I put the money into the envelope, and I was about

to put it into the bank machine when I looked up and I realized, "Oh wait a

minute! I want to be at the bank machine downstairs - one floor underneath, not this

one. And I thought, I don't want to just pay the service fees for the sake of it.

So, I may as well take the money and go downstairs instead. I put the envelope in

the garbage. I took my money and I went downstairs. When I got to my bank, and I

was about to deposit my money, I realized I was $50 short! And that is a lot of

money at the end of the day! And I just kept thinking, "What happened? Where did I

go? What did I do with it?" When I retraced my steps, I realized that when I took the

money out of the envelope when I was upstairs, I must have forgotten the

$50 that was in the envelope, and then I threw the envelope in the garbage - no

less, in the garbage right beside the bank machine - that's actually locked

because obviously, people put in papers that have their financial information.

So then I thought - do I just leave the $50 and walk away? Because I felt

very silly having thrown out cash in an envelope. But it just felt like, it was

too much money to let go. I ended up contacting security. They contacted the

bank. They found out that there is a security company that has the keys. We

had to wait to get the security company to come. And meanwhile, the mall was about

to close. So I called my husband, very sheepishly, and said: "I did something

really silly. I threw $50 cash in the

garbage at the bank teller by mistake, and I'm waiting to have somebody come

and open up the -- the locked garbage can basically. So my husband said, "No

worries! You know what? I'll come and join you so that you're not there by yourself.

I fully thought, that by the time he came to see me, he would be laughing and

laughing, at the silly thing that I did - in terms of throwing cash away! Or at

least, tease me. I know that I have lots of friends and family that would have

happily taken that opportunity, in jest to sort of make fun, and have some fun on

on my account, and just say, you know what? That was kind of silly! But you know what?

My husband didn't say a word! He was so gracious! It was so nice, and so

understanding, at a time when I felt really silly myself!

And, as we were going to home that evening, I said to him: "You know? I really

appreciate the fact that you didn't say anything. You didn't make fun of me!

Because you very easily could have! If I was in that position, I might have made

fun of somebody like that!" And my husband in his wisdom said, "Well you know, I'm

sure, in the future, I will screw up like this sometime, so I'm just going to bank

this one. And maybe you won't make fun of me next time!" And you know what? That has

stuck with me! I, so appreciated, that he did that for me. And the lesson that I

took away from - in that circumstance was that, formal or informal, it doesn't

really matter, right? How you live in your relationship, what your personalities are

like, are up to you. There is no right or wrong there. But there are times where it

can be so valuable, when someone just chooses to be nice, to have a little

grace, and when they just decide that, you know what? I'm not going to make

fun of you and have some fun on your account in this situation. I'm going to

think about how you feel, and I'm going to bank this one! A great lesson from my

husband, that has stayed with me for the past 20 years! And still, to this day, I

really appreciate that he did that.

The Secret to NOT being Broke! - Duration: 8:01.

Wanna know the secret to not being broke? It's pretty simple actually all

you got to do is stop using your credit cards

stop going shopping cancel all of your subscriptions and stop buying lattes

from Starbucks just kidding all right let's get serious by popular

insta demand - is that even a word - in this video I'm breaking down how you can

afford to do all the things you want in life and finally stop being broke

welcome wealth builders to another episode of the bemused where we are making sense

of money and life for young adults just like myself so if you're into that kind

of thing before we jump into the video I'm gonna give you guys a few seconds to

make sure you subscribe to the channel and hit that notification bell so that you

never miss when we post a new video did you do it

alright now let's dive in so in a literal sense being broke means having

no money and I strongly believe that the key and the secret to not being broke

and to changing that is all about changing your mindset changing your

mindset is key and I'm gonna show you guys more practical steps that you can

use to help change your mindset and finally stop being broke so step one is

to prioritize ask yourself what do I really want out of life and how can I

use the money that I make to help me achieve those things what is truly

important to me assuming your basic needs are met prioritize the things that

are really important to you in life if it's giving to others prioritize that if

it's getting a new car prioritize that if it's traveling the world prioritize

that if it's paying that prioritize that if it's building up

an emergency fund an emergency cushion prioritized that personally I can't tell

you what you should prioritize because like I said it's going to vary from

person to person however I do think that building up some type of emergency

cushion emergency fund should be at the top of the list for everybody because

let's face it life happens your car might break down you might have an

emergency medical situation and we need to be able to handle those types of

things if you don't have any type of cash reserves set up for yourself when

emergencies come up like that then that's what leads you to go into credit

card debt and other really unhealthy financial habits that will derail your

path to building wealth and it just keeps you in that rut and that cycle of

always being broke so once you've identified the things in life that are

really important to you and the really important things that you want to have

your money help you accomplish write those things down write your goals down

put it somewhere where you can see it and that way you'll stay motivated and

making sure your money goes towards those important goals for me personally

my goals and priorities are written down and identified within my monthly budget

and if you guys haven't seen my budgeting video I'll link a card up here

so that you guys can see that so from that video you guys will see that I'm

prioritizing building up my emergency fund to six months worth of expenses and

that's actually a milestone that I've since hit since that video was recorded which

is great so that if things come up in life you know I have a cash reserve that

I could fall back on so that I don't end up in that rut that I was talking about

earlier another priority of mine at the budget was making sure that I saw the

people that I loved at least once a month and so that's something that I've

built into my budget it's something that I want my money to do for me

and those are just a couple of personal examples the second step in changing

your mindset is to practice mindful spending so anytime you go to make a

purchase just ask yourself is what I am about to use my money for helping me

accomplish the things that aren't important to me in life that we've

established from that's the way I spend my money align

with my priorities and if it's not then you probably shouldn't be spending your

money on that so going back to a personal example you'll see that I

prioritized after you know giving and saving and being able to see the people

I love once a month and my just basic responsibilities and my car note and

things that really weren't gonna be changing at the bottom of my priority

list was my rent in my apartment to me I don't really care you know about having

a fancy place to live in I don't care how many roommates I need to have as

long as the place I'm living in is clean and pretty close to work that's all I

really care about and so that was at the bottom of my priority list so if I were

to say hmm you know I see this flashy nice apartment somewhere I want to go

live there for me that's not aligned with what I really want to do in life by

making the choice to spend my money on things that aren't truly important to me

I'm sacrificing those goals and those things that are really important another

thing that's really low on my priority list is eating out I really don't eat

out that often cuz it's not something that I really value I'd rather spend

that money on the things that are more important to me and like I said these

priorities will vary from person to person

so whatever you value put your money there whatever you don't value don't put

it there that's really what it comes down to and so the goal in this step is

to really just spend your money on the things that align with your values and

goals and priorities some of you might be saying that you know I'm not making

that much money and after my basic needs are met I really don't even have room to

dream and to go and to put money towards those things that I really value and so

step number three is to earn more money and honestly

the most important part of this step is just believing that you can earn more

money always look for opportunities to level up and find new income

opportunities so if you're currently stuck in a job where you know that you

are underemployed and you could be making more money than you are right now

and it's causing you to stay in this rut and to be broke don't be afraid to look

for something new outside of my full-time job and doing

YouTube I run a career services company called

snatch my career where I exclusively help college students in recent college

graduates launch careers they love by helping you with your resume your

LinkedIn profile and your cover letter and do a little bit of career coaching

and empowerment so you're able to snatch the career that you would love rates are

very affordable and appointments are available now so I'll make sure I put a

link on the screen in case any of you are interested in those services so that's my

shameless plug but seriously guys you can do it don't feel like you are

trapped into this one job that you can never make it to a higher income level

you can do it I know you can so let's brush off the negativity get

out there and make it happen for yourself and now for step four and this

is the glue that holds it all together and this is avoiding lifestyle creep

so lifestyle creep occurs when you have more money coming in but then your

expenses are just keeping growing and growing and matching the income so

you're never getting ahead so this is the mantra for today more money does not

equal more money to spend say it with me more money does not equal more money to

spend if you keep thinking that way you'll always be broke because every

time you have more money coming in you're just gonna spend it all and

you're never gonna get ahead and this is true for any kind

of influx of cash so whether that's a tax refund maybe you get a bonus at work

or a raise be very intentional about the way that you use that money I'm not

saying that you shouldn't spend any of that additional income but then the

cycle repeats you go back to step one with this new money that I have

how are my priorities shifting and how my priorities changing are they staying

the same so then I will need to use that money

be mindful with the way I spend it in step two and the cycle continues so

these four steps are not to be completed just once is a continuous cycle and if

you keep these four steps of money managing your money you will be on a

really great path to building wealth and to be financially independent in the

comments below let me know what are your financial priorities right now let's

share in the comments thank you guys for watching and I will see you guys in the

next video
