Waching daily Feb 1 2018

Good day, friends.

Apologies for missing the video last week.

Yung Lean was in town and my friend and I went to see him play live.

It's been pretty cool but the ending was a bit underwhelming.

Instead of coming out for encore just like any normal artist, he just said "this is

my last song" and left without even finishing it.

The crowd started chanting, but then the lights came on and everyone was like what O_o.

Anyway, back to the topic, in this video we will see 13 new geeky products that I have

picked for you this time of the year.

Also wanted to let everyone know that I am preparing a makeover for the blog, which will

be a mixture of the compilations with the display of best-selling products, and products

by categories, with some other new features, so prepare to be amazed.

It should be out by the end of February.

And at the end of this video I will announce the winner of the giveaway for the Xiaomi

earphones, so keep an eye out on it.

Ok, let's begin!

If you're a Doctor Who fan, you'll be sure to love this TARDIS phone case.

If you think about it, a phone is kind of like a TARDIS because it contains a lot on

the inside for such a small item.

Personally I prefer the first option, the basic TARDIS design, but there are other options

with the different versions of the Doctor.

Give your computer a fun makeover with these magnetic LED case lights.

There are 3 colour options that come in strips of 30cm, or about 1 ft. long.

They come in handy for giving you a bit of light if you like to work/game/browse in the

dark.

I always see people with their fancy see-through PC cases, and now that I finally have one,

I am definitely getting a couple of these lights.

No one will be able to see your hand with these tiny playing cards.

They can also be used to stage adorable poker photos with your live or stuffed animals.

Or really, to hell with staging, it's time to bleed those bastards dry.

Seriously though, I fail to see a practical use for these, unless you are Donald Trump.

You know, because he is said to have really tiny hands.

This is an excellent 2-in-1 product for people that like to stay organized.

It's a mousepad with a planning notebook underneath, so you can always see your notes or to-do

list while you're working.

Having a constant reminder at your fingers just might keep you from procrastinating.

Or it will help you come to better terms that you will never get anything done, you lazy

piece of ...

Decorate your home from this store with a large selection of vintage-style posters.

They only cost a little over $1 each and there's everything from Harry Potter to fight club

to human anatomy.

They look good on their own but bonus points if you frame them.

If you are concerned about the way they are shipped, don't be - they ship in a sturdy

roll, and in bubble mailers.

If you keep them under a stack of books overnight it should be all straightened up and good

to go.

People who love cats, geometrical bliss, and creepy things will appreciate this candle.

From the outside it looks like a cute kitty, but as it melts a metal skeleton is revealed.

Perfect for your next cult meeting, so that you don't even have to burn real cats anymore.

It's a bit on a pricier side, but I still think it's a reasonable price for something

that unique.

For plumbers, a flush beats a full house.

These Mario magnets are pretty sweet.

You could play mini Mario games with them on your fridge!

Or you could just use them for putting up sentimental pieces of paper.

Or terrible punny jokes.

Like this one: what do plumbers and eskimos have in common?

They both like a tight seal.

If size is an important factor to you when you're looking for a phone, check out this

thin and tiny phone.

It's super compact with a thickness of 9mm and specs of 85mm x 5.8mm x 54mm.

It's not the most high tech phone but it features bluetooth, messaging, and mp3 playback

so if you're just looking for something little and simple it's worth a look.

Ferrofluid aka magnetic fluid aka liquid magnets.

Apparently, you can make your own ferrofluid by mixing the old-school printer ink and cooking

oil.

I actually have a separate video where I am unboxing and testing the bottle that I have

bought before, and the entire video is pretty much highlighted here.

It's pretty fun to play around with when you are bored and have nothing better to do,

but I'd be lying if I didn't say I haven't touched mine in a few months.

Still talking about the ferrofluid.

And if you're team tiny products, check out this tiny drone.

If you like annoying people, think about this: drones are annoying, flies are annoying, so

how annoying is a drone that is a size of the fly?

As you can see, this drone comes with a camera that can transmit and record footage onto

your smartphone through an app.

If you're a gamer who has an appreciation for vintage stuff, check out this old school

console store.

You can find all sorts of 8bit and 16bit goodies that you can play on your Nintendo 64 replica.

This store carries both consoles and console games.

There is also a version of good old Sega that already comes with preloaded games.

Throughout my life I've had about 5 Sega Mega Drive 2's which is the same as the

Genesis 2 model, it was the dopest shit ever.

I have spent so much time playing classics like Jurassic Park, Road Rash 3 and Tom & Jerry.

If you had one too, comment with your favourite game, no prize this time, let's just remember

them for the good old days' sake.

And while you're at it, check out this OG retro handheld Tetris game.

Even before Snake on Nokia's, this was the ultimate gaming station.

Even though it has no color, playing on this will feel more special and fun than playing

on your phone or on Facebook.

I still have one of those, that still works.

I bought it to play on a bus and hope that I will become a meme, but to my knowledge

it still hasn't happened.

Now to our new section, the random product of the week.

This week's item is Totoro bed: have you ever wished you could snuggle up with Totoro

because he is just so darn cute?

Now you can with this Totoro bed!

For best effect decorate the rest of your room anime style.

LISTEN...The Sanitary Pads You USE Are Trash!! - Duration: 15:58.

What's up everybody good evening good morning to you all

Really quick. I'm gonna. Do live demonstration for you

Just so you can get a feel of what the dry pad

Really is so really quick and now we know campaign is a campaign of awareness that is going all of the country

Right now to share with women the harmful effects

Sanitary napkins, so we're gonna jump right in

As you know some of you may know, I'm sure a lot of you do know

But for the ones that don't this is considered a sanitary napkin, but really quick. I'm gonna show you

This is not a sanitary napkin. We all know that anything that is considered sanitary is 100% sealed right

LISTEN...The Sanitary Pads You USE Are Trash!!

This sanitary napkin is considered an eight hour past eight hour hearing okay?

Tomorrow eight hours, we're gonna call this Exhibit B. All right?

This everyone is a dry pad. This is a

sanitary napkin

this

store Bart brand is

Already always open and it will already always be open. This is our dry pad. This is a 100%

completely sealed

Sanitary napkin, and it's even smaller

This is our night pad. This is the a table this is good iPad

This is one of my favorites because

They do exactly

What they're supposed to so really quick?

I'm going to consider this one the

exhibit a

so

As we get started

Gynecologists and studies have shown that women exude between 15 to 50 milliliters every cycle

Give or take some women exude less some women of zoo more but studies show 15 to 50

So this is indicating that this is 50 milliliters

So I'm going to pour this water

That will

Show the demonstration of how much of women is supposedly

Exuding every month and

Not to mention

This sanitary napkin is supposed to hold

Now I'm going to do the exact same thing for exhibit a and

I want just a little bit further and so this is going to be 70 milliliters. Just so we can prove

some really great information

Once a night. I hope you all are enjoying your evening

As I pour this

liquid onto the chairs premium sanitary napkin or what we like to call the dry pad I

Have been

Doing a lot of research in a lot of studies. It's been very

proven that women

Have been using unsanitary napkins for almost 150 years, so

Unfortunately a lot of us don't know that and with it now we know campaign. We are actually

Going all over the world to share this very powerful information

so

What I'm gonna. Do now is the dry tests

The wet and dry test this is a regular napkin out of the

Kitchen that I'm going to place one Exhibit B

And I'm not even really pressing, art. I hope you can see that so let me get my hand off the camera. I'm just

pressing on it lightly very gently and

Immediately it is

Soaking wet so ladies. This is what we go through

Every single month when we use

Unsanitary napkins that are always always already

open

so now

I'm going to do the same thing for ours

Which is the chairs print sanitary napkin what we like to call the dry pad same?

regular neck and other the kitchen, and I want you to see I

Want you to see very closely?

That I'm going to press

on the dry pad

out of the kitchen

What's the napkin that I got at the kitchen? I'm gonna press on the trackpad

you know

Just look you can see that

Ladies and gentlemen

this

Napkin is

dry

So ladies question men who have women in their lives have daughters in your lives

Do you want them to be wet or do you want them to be dry I?

Would love somebody to come in in the in the comment section what you would prefer

So now I'm going to go a little bit further and I'm going to

dissect

this

Sanitary napkin just to show

What we're really really dealing with

Ladies and gentlemen this when I first saw this I literally I

Was kind of like I was shocked I was you know

I'm very emotional person, so I was a little shocked. I was upset sad. I was frustrated because

For the 21 years that I have been on my cycle never

This but when we go to the store we think that everything that we use is safe for us when it's really not right okay?

So this is unfortunately nothing more than a rayon. This is a synthetic material and

You can hear that I am allergic to latex

I am allergic to synthetic materials every month. I was going through

Situations where I thought you know was my body

You know it's just of course

I knew was the material believe it or not, but I had no other choice right so that's Ryan

We don't want that then we have this that was the first layer

This is the second where so everyone take a look at this now. I was like wow this is a really pretty print

You know I like prints. I like colors, but unfortunately. This is nothing other than blue. Dye

this is

Another form of plastic, but it has blue dye on it right blue. Dye any dye does not need to be

Percolating into our bloodstream while we're sitting now while we're wearing this particular

centers here in napkin

That's supposed to be eight hours for two minutes

They don't hold they don't do what they're supposed to do, so we're going to keep going. This is unacceptable

And so this

Everyone is the absorbency system, so we're going to roll all of this up and we're gonna put it into

Okay, so you have this cup of water, let's see

2 cups of water, okay?

So the one on my left has the least right this one has the most so what we're going to do is

We're gonna put

This absorbency system in the cup that has the least amount of water

And we're just going to let it do what it claims is supposed to do so now

The last layer, this is nothing more than

Plastic, this is a hefty same materials a hefty bag from out of the kitchen

and I'm not talking about the

you know the

Garbage hand that's in your kitchen, and you know has a pretty basket

with the scented

Trash in it this is from land fields so you put

trash on top of trash and plastic on top of plastic our body is

98.6 for most women even higher when we're in our cycle and guess what that is nothing more than a petri dish

for you said it bacteria, so

While this is doing what it's doing, so I have the cup that has the most water in it, and I'm going to

Now start on

Exhibit B

And so I'm in the restaurant everybody at the house because my whole family is sleep and so by me working you

Know all night and all day

To pursue something that everyone should be doing

Something that they like I have to go in the restaurant so this everyone is cotton. Do you see this this is cotton?

And when you run the replay back please do you can hear that this is super soft and

Plastic does not tear like this

Right no, it doesn't

so everyone this is the

What I call the miracle strip right this strip?

Shortens our cycles it is the negative ion strip and so with that it actually

Calms our hormones it

You know helps us balance our pH

It it

Doesn't affect us with you know the normal

Sanitary napkins where we have this odor and weren't uncomfortable and our uterus is contracting even more because the unsanitary

always already opened sanitary napkins or unsanitary napkins causes us to

Exude more fluid on a monthly basis, and that's why we have to buy more and more so with this

This is a miracle strip. This is the

Like a computer if you will of our

dry pad our chair sanitary napkin

This is one of my favorite parts of it because it has helped me and that's how my daughter has helped my sister

And everyone else that has a headache this experience, and I'm happy and grateful to be able to share with them

So we have that now this is our

Our

Taste

Absorbency system, can you see that kay see how amazing the

Package that is it's absolutely wonderful

Right and this is not

Plastic everyone. This is kind as well, so we're going to

Allow our

absorbency system

To do what it does and here we go so everyone you see

This cup had the most water this one did not so we're going to just let them

Do what they do right and we're gonna leave them right there. Oh, that's there?

ladies and gentlemen is

Wonderful first of all I think you should be able to see that let's see

these

Little one-way strips if you can see it

Really good that is what gives us the air to breathe down there

We need air we need a ventilation system in our

Sanitary napkins as one to give us

breathable room

We can't have our bodies at

98.6. Maybe in a hundred degrees

During that time of the month, and we are sitting in plastic. We are sitting in trash. We are sitting in

our own

liquid our own

Sometimes you're in for some of us and that is totally unacceptable and not to mention

Plastic does not tear like that everyone. I need you to do me a favor. I need you to

Research

Dioxin di Oh

Xin go to WebMD and check that out. I need you to research

Negative ion. Let's go to WebMD because we can Google everything

But we need to know what the doctors are saying because a lot of you have eggs

Well, what is the doctor saying okay? So WebMD dioxin di Oh Xin?

negative ions

Negative io n s. Go to WebMD and search also go to

WWE

We know

net

This is where you will get all of your information

to educate yourself and

educate every single woman that you love and care for because

to be honest if you had a woman in

Your life that you love and care about

a lot of us have women in our lives that we love and care about we came from a woman right if

You had information that could save their life

Would you share it and

I've had some very strange responses, but

Unfortunately, you know I have to keep it moving, but I would hope that you all say yes

so

Now that we have let these two do what they were supposed to do do you see

This Cup this was fifty milliliters of water

and

I you know poured the water in before because I'm

surely

Doing a serious super-fast demonstration for you guys, so this is

What we sit in every month?

See that this is what we sitting in. I don't sit in this anymore

I'm done. You know once. I saw this it was pretty much a wrap for me, so you see that that's terribly

Unacceptable and by the way. I didn't really touch it that much because

Brother Brown which is our ambassador of the League of Legends and inspired Network

Started to have issues with his fingers because of the poison that is in this sanitary napkin you can't tell me that you

Don't have some type of feeling about that so

Now that we've tried there's

This has been turned into away from

a liquid to a SOLID!!!

Priyanka Chopra on Meghan Markle Bridesmaid Rumors: "If You See Me There, You'll Know"

Meghan Markle and Priyanka Chopra are friends, but will the Quantico star serve as a bridesmaid in Markle and Prince Harrys upcoming wedding? Chopra addressed the question in a new interview for Harpers Bazaar Arabia.

If you see me there, youll know, she teased.  Even if Chopra doesnt make the bridal party cut, shes still excited for Markle to tie the knot and drive change as a member of the royal family.

I dont think anybody else would be able to do it the way she will. Shes just right for it, Chopra told the magazine. Shes an icon, truly, that girls can look up to, that women can look up to.

Shes normal, shes sweet, shes nice, she thinks about the world, wants to change it and this was even before any of this happened. Smiling, she then added, So I do think Meghan being a part of the royal family is a big step in the direction of so many things; of women, of feminism, of diversity, of race, of the monarchy versus everyone else.

Its a beautiful step in the right direction..

Markle and Harry are scheduled to wed May 19, which gives Chopra just a few months to meet the groom. Earlier this month, the actress told E! News she has yet to meet Markles fiancé.

She also has only a few months to pick out the perfect wedding gift. Its a little bit of a problem, she quipped to E! News.

From what Ive always known of Meghan shes not someone whos very materialistic. She really isnt…If you give her a book, shell be happy—as long as its thoughtful..

But has all of this royal wedding talk got Chopra hearing wedding bells? Maybe not right away. The actress told Harpers Bazaar shes single but would like to get married in the future.

Marriage and kids are a big goal for me, she told the magazine. Im a big believer in the institution of marriage and in family, and in kids, I want to have a lot of them, if God allows.

The only problem is, I dont know who Ill do it with.. To read Chopras full interview, visit HarpersBazaar. com.

Things you should know about ABS - Duration: 10:48.

Next up in this series, ABS!

[ABS Variants montage] [Intro]

Ok, let's start out with probably the most important bit about ABS: There's not just

one ABS, there are dozens of different versions that are all ABS-based or even just ABS-like.

Let's actually start with just ABS itself, which already isn't just one thing.

It's acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, so three monomer, mixed together and linked together,

forming the copolymer A-B-S.

The Butadiene in this mix gives ABS its typical milky, off-white color; it's a rubber, also

used for car tyres and such, and depending on how the ABS is manufactured, it remains

as larger or smaller particles within the mix - kinda like the small suspended fat particles

give milk its opaque white color.

Butadiene also gives ABS its toughness, which it is known for.

Now, the other polymer in here is Styrene - and that's the red thread that is common

to almost all ABS-like materials.

Now, just by varying how much of each component is used for the ABS blend, you already get

a huge variance of properties, but since ABS is mostly an industrial plastic, it's also

really common to have blends with additives mixed in that will have it flow better into

an injection mold, release more easily from the mold or change the properties of the final

molded piece in some way.

And if you just get one of those blends and extrude it into filament, it's not going

to print well.

While PLA is seeing a huge upwind with new blends specifically for 3D printing, ABS is

already an established ecosystem and 3D printing doesn't make too much of dent.

What I'm basically getting at here is that ABS filament comes in an enormous range of

qualities and properties and each one will want to be printed differently, and it cases

where the manufacturer is using the wrong injection-molding specific blend to make filament,

there might not even be a good way to print that specific ABS.

So the quality gap is a lot larger than for PLA, as is the range of properties you can

get out of it.

And what makes matters even more interesting is that there now is a huge range of ABS-like

filaments out there, from the simplest HIPS, high impact PolyStyrene, again, styrene-based,

ASA, basically replacing the Butadiene rubber in ABS with Acrylic, same stuff as acrylic

glass.

There's m-ABS, which is ABS with less Butadiene in it, making it a transparent plastic with

a lower impact resistance, you can get PC-ABS, ABS blended with Polycarbonate, or you can

just get polycarbonate by itself, and I'd still consider that to be similar in printing

properties to ABS.

So, yeah, properties, what are those?

What you'll typically hear is something like, oh yeah, ABS is strong, temperature-resistant,

but it warps and smells.

OK, let me get this straight.

Parts printed ABS and ABS-likes, except for maybe polycarbonate, are typically weaker

than most other plastics.

Especially if printed wrong, like in a cold environment.

That's also where you'll see ABS warp and crack along the layer lines because it

doesn't bond well enough to the cooled-down previous one.

I've moved on to printing any ABS-likes exclusively in an enclosed chamber, the prints

come out much stronger, and I don't have to worry about warping that much anymore!

Yes, the warping.

As we touched on in the last video on PLA, having a material that stays soft longer when

it cools down will also give it less of a chance to contract and actually warp your

part.

Because molten, printed ABS is already pretty hard when it has cooled down to about 100°C,

as it cools down further it can't stretch to make up for the thermal shrinkage as easily

anymore, so it will want to pull your already printed part up like a dish.

If you know you have good layer adhesion with your filament, you just need to get your prints

to stick to the bed to somewhat counteract that.

For bed adhesion, it's hard to beat PEI, ABS almost sticks too well to it, some adhesives

you spray or wipe on there also work well, but what makes a huge difference here is bed

temperature.

So yes, a heated bed, at least with my experience, is mandatory for printing ABS.

We used to crank these babies up to 120°C, but with most materials, that leads to what

is often called an elephant's foot, and talking about nuclear meltdown here, but it's

when the very first layer of the print sticks well to the bed, but the bed is so hot that

the first few layers above it end up staying soft and contract as the print progresses.

A heated bed that is too hot will also ruin any overhangs that are close to it because

those will curl up, so again, I can not recommend enough to use an enclosure and dropping the

bed temperature slightly, maybe to around 105°C, and instead just having the ambient

air in the enclosure at about 40°C. Any decent printer can handle that ambient temperature,

even if you have non-PLA printed parts on it and the motors and electronics inside with

the rest of the printer.

Print quality with ABS can be surprisingly good since mostly you don't need part cooling

with active fans and such.

ABS and ABS-likes will print well if you just grab your PLA profile, turn off the cooling

fan and adjust temperatures.

If you get meltdown artifacts, like typically on the chimney of a Benchy, you might need

to increase the minimum layer time, I usually run a rather long minimum layer time of around

25 seconds to avoid pumping too much thermal energy into a small section in too short of

a time.

I wouldn't try to "tune" any seemingly advanced stuff like extrusion width, I'd

say not until you have temperatures and speeds dialed in, but usually your slicer will do

a bit of math and figure out extrusion width and such out pretty much perfectly by itself.

You might need to set the base speed manually, as ABS will not flow as easily as PLA and

usually can't be printed quite as fast.

Though 60mm/s should be very doable with normal layer heights.

Now, you should only print ABS with an all-metal hotend, and I've often found that higher

temperatures will actually improve print quality instead of degrading it.

So if your hotend can handle it, feel free to experiment with temperatures up to, I don't

know, 265°C?

Higher temperatures also mean more emitted particles and a stronger smell.

Not every ABS smells as bad as others, but in either case, try not to be in the same

room as your working printer or printer enclosure and ventilate it well during or after a print.

If you print a lot of it, you'll find nasty cooked butadiene deposits all over your hotend

and extruder, so I don't think that's all too healthy to breath in.

Then again, people still choose to smoke.

ABS is actually the prime candidate for post-processing.

Paint it, glue it, drill it, mill it, tap it, weld it, or just smooth it, eherm, all

that works.

Because it has such a high working temperature, you can work with it with common metalworking

tools no problem.

One of the big advantages of ABS, at least in my eyes, is that you can cut it without

it splintering or breaking - so if you print a part with a brim, which is highly recommended

for anything ABS to make sure it sticks, you can either take a sharp knife and cut it off

or use one of these deburring tools - link in the video description to cleanly take it

off!

And for storing ABS, I know it's not as sensitive to moisture as some other filaments,

but it can still degrade, bubble and just make for overall horrible prints if it takes

up too much moisture from the ambient air.

So while you don't have to store it in a drybox like Nylon, it definitely doesn't

hurt to keep it in a somewhat humidity-controlled space.

So don't just drop it in our shed during summer.

One last thing about ABS: ABS itself is also not UV resistant, it will turn yellow, degrade

and eventually crack and break if left outside in the sun.

So either you can use an inherently UV-resistant filament like ASA, where the plastic itself

is not going to degrade, but still the colors might bleach over time, or you can just go

with black standard, cheap ABS.

Because the black colorant is typically based on soot, those tiny black carbon flakes will

actually absorb UV light as well, so even though the sunlight still hits the very surface

of your part, it will only be able to penetrate the very top layer, so the part itself will

stay perfectly strong.

This part right here I used as a brace for my apple tree for, what, five, six years,

had it out all summer and winter and it looks, feels, handles exactly like new.

Maybe except for the moss and stuff that's in the creases here, but everything else is

still perfect.

So overall, is successfully printing ABS, like, the big graduation ceremony for you

that you can work up to?

Well, not necessarily.

There's still a good bit of randomness involved with filament choices, especially with ABS,

I'd say get some brand-name materials, for example from this serie's sponsor Aprintapro,

I tested their flame-retardant PC-ABS in a Filaween episode and have been casually printing

their other materials and it turns out they are actually making excellent materials, which

is why they're getting to sponsor these videos in the first place.

The last few videos had the "contains paid promotion" banner on them, same thing, but

it apparently wasn't really clear why that was.

All that means is that the Aprintapro products, right here, get a bit of extra airtime, I'm

not required to praise their products at all, but still, their sponsorship in return makes

it possible for me, well, us, to produce more content for you guys.

Same as with the sponsorship from ATOM 3D for the stl-Bender video, the comment section

on that video actually seemed really enjoy that part!

Alright, ABS has a great set of properties, but unless you need all of them, there are

other materials that perform similarly, but might be a bit easier to print - we'll get

to those in the next few videos.

Still, if you have an end-all tip for printing ABS super reliably, please leave it in the

comments below or post it in the forums so that others can learn from it.

If you enjoyed this video, do this [thumbs], that [point to sub] or that other thing and

I'll see you in the next one!
