Waching daily Feb 26 2018

Hey everybody and welcome to another episode of the Danny Morel show this is

an exciting one for us it's the first time that we're using all of our

incredible new lighting and video equipment this is all temporary what you

see right now we are preparing an incredible studio to produce for you a

weekly show that helps you to grow in every area of your life and if you

haven't figured this out by now one of the things that we're dedicated to to

here on the Danny Morel show is providing you content that helps you

improve what's going on in here and in here if you can improve what's going on

in here and in here what goes on in here we'll get a lot better right and I think

that that's a lot something that a lot of people get confused right they get

that confused they don't understand that money is very simply a reflection of the

value that you are bringing to Planet Earth of the value that you're bringing

to your customers of the person the human being that you are right so if you

want to increase your money if you want to increase your business if you want to

increase what's happening with the amount of clients that you get you first

got to increase yourself and that's why I respect the fact that you're joining

us right now live on the show if you're joining us right now on Facebook I'm

actually watching you right here let me know that you're out there tell me your

name and your state please I've got my trusty little iPad here and I can

actually see what's going on so let me know your state and your name please and

it's another great way for you to connect with other like-minded

individuals as well let's get started I want to respect your time I know that

you're taking away time from your business from your family to be here and

what I was just saying is I respect the fact that you were investing in your

growth we are excited about this we do this on a weekly basis live we do it for

one purpose and that's to help you so a couple of things while we're getting

started here if you're just joining us on Facebook let me know your name and

what state you're joining us from and what industry you're in named State and

Industry and I'm able to watch all of you guys right here so I can interact

with you guys Instagram you guys do the same it's a

great way for you to meet like-minded people that might be close by to you a

couple of great posts this week on Instagram and on Facebook and I'm going

to first start with this one stop being attached to what people think

and you'll become the hunted versus the hunter stop being attached to what

people think and you'll become the hunted versus the hunter people listen

to me right now I'll tell you one of the things that is going to help you

increase your income increase your ability to generate new leads and that

is for you to stop being so attached to what people think about you I'm going to

say that again it's not being at so attached to what

think people think about you it's not being so attached to what happens when

you go out there and make an effort right if you look up a baseball player

for example right my brother just brought this up yesterday's when it came

to my mind you look up a baseball player a baseball player when they strike out

they strike up for the most part the best baseball players what do they do is

walk away you look at the best baseball players when they hit a home run where

they do is hit a home run and walk around

if you look at a rookie or if you look at a baseball player that isn't that

great you know when they strike out they get mad they get pissed off they get yes

or no this is what happens when they hit a home run it's like if they've never

had a home run ever in their lives it's like like celebration goes off why

because they're attached to the outcome and so when you're attached to the

outcome when you're attached to what people think guess what happens you are

hunting for business think about this you are hunting for

business versus people hunting you to come and help them if you're live right

now anywhere right now just please just for kicks kicks and giggles I'm working

on my bad words right now right I want you to let me know do you want to be the

hunted or the hunter doesn't matter who you are right now do you want to be the

hunted or the hunter share it with me on Facebook right now you want to be the

hunted or the hunter think about that think about that next post this was a

good one on Instagram you guys love this one

this is these students reacting to finding out that they were all going to

go see Black Panther and I'm sure you guys got a kick out of that got

something like 3,000 views this video that I posted and what I loved about it

I wrote down imagine if we were all this free this happy this unattached of what

others think free to just go for it without hesitation without worry or

without concern this beautiful group of kids brought a smile to my face and I

thought I'd share with you guys because whatever you're going through it's not

that serious let loose and let it go it reminds me right now as you guys can

tell we're a little bit late with the show right and the cameras were working

and you know to be honestly maybe things should bother me a little bit more they

don't bother me Nick got all nervous my other cameraman got all nervous to be

honest Ian I mean what are we gonna do about it we can't control it right it

wasn't working we started the show the audio wasn't worthy no big deal right

the more that you kind of just like let loose and let joy come into your life

the list of things bother you and the more that you become the hunted versus

the hunter I got a whole bunch of people writing hunted hunted

yeah absolutely okay and the next post number three this was a big one it's not

about what happens to you it never will be for the rest of your friggin life

people for as long as you're in business it never will be about what happens to

you can I tell you why because the things that you don't like that happened

to you are going to continue to happen people are going to continue to let you

down deals are going to continue to fall apart

appointments are going to continue to cancel it is never ever ever about what

happens to you it is always about how you react to what happens to you I'm

going to say that again it is never about what happens to you it is always

about how you react to what happens to you the best of the best in your

industry the best of the best in business the best of the best in the

world at whatever it is that they do they have learned to do one thing and

that is manage their emotions manage their expectations and manage the

meanings that they give to things write that down please manage your

emotions manage your expectations and manage the meanings that you give to

things so what I mean by that guys that I'm going to end with this post will go

into the Today Show I mean that listen things are always going to happen the

way your going to grow as a human being which eventually affects your business

is to understand that you got to learn to fix and adjust and improve the

meanings that you give to those things that happen right if somebody lets you

down or if somebody walks away or if somebody doesn't come through or if a

deal falls through guess what you can't cry over or get upset

over something that you never had so you gotta learn to manage the

expectation you got to learn to manage the meaning and the attachment then you

have two things right as a matter of fact if you're watching me on Facebook

yeah I'm getting a lot of thumbs up right now if you're watching me on

Facebook right now I just gotta ask you real fast what's one thing that you can

get better at managing the meaning that you give to it you all know there's one

downfall there's one thing that gets you like down an out or gets you bummed out

or whatever the case may be what's one thing guys that you can learn you could

say you know what okay Danny you know I hadn't thought about

it that way you know maybe from now on when this happens right let me know what

that thing is maybe you know what maybe I won't be so upset anymore maybe I'll

just realize that that's always gonna happen and as long as I keep getting all

bent out of shape about it I'm never going to grow as a business person

however if I can learn to make adjustments effective learn to make

adjustments with how I'm attached to things then maybe I can become stronger

maybe it won't bug me out as much and maybe instead of wasting two to three

days to a week to a month in a mental funk maybe I can just keep on keeping on

tell me what that is I Stephanie bandage the meanings that

you attach the things boom let me know what that is I'd love to hear from you

guys we've got David from California joining us all bunch of you guys from

Irvine from Utah Brett Graves shout out to all of you guys I love it I love it I

love it all right let's get started with today's lesson everybody

oh listen relentless I know that I promised you we were going to announce

the first second third or the fifth speaker this Monday I'll tell you what

happened the contract is not Inc just yet and I just feel a little bit

uncomfortable announcing that with without the contract written right so

and my letters in Gerard Adams is in Andy Frisella is in but for these last

two these are big big big nationally recognized names and so the final one

our keynote speaker which I'm really really excited about is it's done I just

want to wait to announce that one last so it looks like I'll be announcing both

of them back-to-back here pretty soon if you

haven't already done so get your tickets go to relentless event calm we've got a

brand new website coming up and we look forward to seeing you all there July

11th and 13th guys anticipation write this down please I looked up the meaning

I looked up the meaning of anticipation anticipation is what you look forward to

what you expect or what you predict will occur write that down

anticipation what you look forward to what you expect or what you predict will

occur and the best way that I can give you this example is just what's in front

of you you guys can't see this right now if you're on Instagram maybe you can

just kind of turn it around right my desk my entire office I got rid of it I

got rid of it I sold them I sold all of it because we're literally gonna create

a studio in here what am I what I am anticipating is creating the number one

business podcast in the world that's what I'm anticipating so if I'm

anticipating something that big well then I can't do the podcast anymore

looking into a MacBook does that make sense everybody does that make sense

just write me a yes if you're watching line is this makes sense see if I'm

anticipating creating the best of something in the world

whoa I can't be using cheap equipment right I can't Nick my nephew walks in

today and goes yeah we bought it all it's all ours right new super duper

macbook new beautiful cameras new lighting we got a custom desk coming we

got this beautiful incredible whiteboard coming back and draw and teach to you

guys why it's because of my anticipation because of my anticipation that's why

it's because of what I see in the future is because what I'm predicting will

occur it's because of what I'm looking forward to so then people ask me all the

time well then then wait a minute wait a minute so what does that mean it means

simple it means that when you anticipate a big future you're willing to step

up in a big way I'm gonna say that again when you're anticipating a big future

you're willing to step up in a big way if you got to cut a check to buy

equipment you cut a check to buy equipment doesn't matter there's revenue

coming in to cover the check doesn't matter anything as long as you have it

you plant the seed you plant the seed because of what you anticipate in the

future will happen so here's what that means I want you to really think about

that it means that if you're not investing in your business and if you're

not growing your business could it potentially be that you're not

anticipating something exciting enough for your future something for you to

think about see because the reality is guys is when you anticipate a big future

you gaurd two things with everything you have

write this down when you anticipate a big future you guard two things with

everything you have by the way I think more people need to be listening to this

message if you're on Facebook help me out share it share it and invite people

tag them right now when you anticipate a big future you

guard two things with everything you have and people listen I'm gonna tell

you right now this right here what I'm about to show you this is the disease of

the human spirit right now is that we let go of these two things we give these

two things to everybody and everything and every situation and every occurrence

our two most valuable resources we just give them away for free to whoever wants

them write this down time and energy

time and energy people I want you to think about this when you

anticipate a pretty crappy future guess what it doesn't matter you have to guard

this you don't have to guard or respect your time

you sure as heck don't have to guard and respect your energy you have to guard

and respect what you focus on you can feel free to do whatever it is that you

want to do why because there's nothing to hold you accountable in the future

does this make sense there's nothing that you're looking toward that is big

enough and exciting enough so guess what you can easily distracted by anything

that happens I'll give you a perfect example of everybody everybody if you

can just write down I see a lot of you guys or yes as it JT I see you

Gus absolutely just write down I protect my time and energy write that

down as an affirmation Instagram Facebook write it down right now

wherever you are step out of the ego step out of the comfort zone

the ego tells you don't be writing nothing down yeah that's why we're

stuck where we're at because we're listening to the wrong voice write it down I protect

my time and my energy my time and my energy are my two most valuable

resources it's not your money by the way it's not your money many of you are

stuck in mediocrity and we're stuck not growing life because we think money is

our most valuable resource no time and energy

many of who you are afraid to invest in mentorship you are afraid to invest in

coaching you're afraid I can mention I could mention that I'm bringing I've

been mentioned that I'm bringing Tom Brady Barack Obama and uh I don't know

for entertainment Jennifer Lopez and you still would be scared to invest $299

which the event is kind of gonna be that good right it's gonna Nick is like shut

up it's gonna be that kind of good the people I got coming but I want you to

really think about this like I can bring the world to you but if you think money

is the most valuable resource and if you feel like you have and if you have a

money scarcity guess what I can tell you it's $199 for the event you'll still oh my god it's $199

because your consciousness is off because you're giving away your time and

energy to anything because you're not willing to plant the seed in the future

that you see for yourself it's because you're not anticipating something

incredible something majestic something beautiful

you're really not listen you're hoping hope

you're hoping someday you can buy your family that dream home you're hoping

someday you make it you're hoping someday your income goes up you're

hoping something your business grows but you ain't anticipating it two different

words two different words completely and I know this is striking a quarter of

people so let's keep moving here your energy write this down I got to protect

my energy share with me on Facebook come on I see you guys that's right Rudy says

scared money doesn't make money absolutely write it down I gotta protect

my energy here's what I mean but I'm gonna give you a couple different

examples you see when I'm anticipating a huge future I got to be careful with who

I surround myself with period point-blank

because the wrong people will SAP your most valuable resource

your energy you've heard me say this before wherever you're at you've heard

me say this before there's only two states that you can be in a beautiful

state and a suffering state a beautiful state and a suffering and say write this

down on Facebook come on bring it bring it if you want to be in a

beautiful state you need to step out in faith I live in a beautiful state write

it down write it down I live in a beautiful state right so how do you

protect your energy I'll give you a perfect example some of you guys call me

mean you call me cutthroat I don't give a damn what you call me I'm protecting

my energy I don't protect my energy you're literally taking food off of my

kids table I am NOT gonna let your stupidity take food off of my kid's

table I'll show you how Facebook Facebook you guys have a Facebook

account you all do right absolutely we all do yeah Instagram right so this what

happens when the flu season comes what does everybody start posting I'm sick

I'm feeling bad why one reason they want attention

how about these people that post all these negative videos of people beating

each other up how about people that constantly post when they have a problem

with politics or with the president they're constantly just discussing and

arguing how about these people that constantly post what's going wrong in

their life how about these people that constantly how about these people that

constantly how about these people that constantly and guess who's the worst one

you because you're watching all of it

whether you realize it or not it's sapping you of your energy and so for me

personally I protect my energy so much my future that I'm anticipating is so

bright I love my family so much if there is anything that I see that is not in

alignment with the positivity that I want to feel in my heart my mind and

soul I delete you and I cut you you're no longer my friend oh but that's so

mean no no no no what's mean is me not being able to provide for my family

what's mean does not mean I being able to fulfill my destiny my god-given

destiny that vision that vision that I see in here that's what's me

I'd rather protect that and then by the way if you get mad at that and you come

to me the right way I'll show you and I'll teach you and I'll help you but

outside of that I've got to protect my energy think about this when it comes to

relationships think about this when it comes to what you watch think about this

when it comes to the people around you think about this when it comes to what

you focus on think about when it comes to your attachment to things deals fall

through cameras don't work whatever why am I gonna get upset about it all I'm

doing is I'm giving my energy away the things that are out of my control I'm

anticipating such a great future it's very very difficult for you to take my

energy away just recently here locally just recently I shouldn't even be giving

any energy but whatever I'm gonna use it as an example

people love to post negative things about me on Facebook I'd love to make

their little jabs they love to make their little cheap shots they love to

that's okay it's no problem here locally they just you know sometimes they just

get a little mad or whatever they have a negative opinion that's okay

as a leader I've got to protect my energy I can't comment back I can't

respond back can't say anything why because I'm anticipating such a

great future I don't have I don't have the energy to give to that my energy is

focused on better things people guard your energy

because all money is you want me to tell you all money is is energy if you want to grow

your money you got a guard your energy number one number two you got to pour

your energy into the right things versus the wrong things the next thing number

two your time your time time

absolutely Robert Walkins just put that's called business maturity that's

called business maturity that's exactly what that is we'll probably talk about

that next week but it's the same thing with your time right the more and more

that I anticipate a brighter future the more and more that I gotta guard my time

so as a salesperson for example I cannot waste my time with anyone that isn't

pre-qualified if I don't I anticipate a great future guess what I can go talk to

and meet with whoever wants to meet with me look I love you guys and for the most

part I'm giving so many messages right now it's getting to the point where it's

getting kind of tough to respond to everybody but everybody I respond with

like a thumbs up or a fist bump or whatever the case may be I at least want

to acknowledge you that I appreciate you following me and I appreciate the

community that we're building right now I really really do but then I got to be

able to guard my time because sometimes you guys have you know take it a little

step further and said listen there's so much that I'm giving a lot of you're

asking me for mentorship this is mentorship I don't got to get on the

phone with you and I don't got to walk you through a 30 minute coaching session

to do I can but it's gonna cost you 2,500 bucks you want to pay me 2,500

bucks for 30 minutes that's great if not here's what I'm to recommend go back and

watch all of the podcasts that I've ever done before you will find all of your

answers there gotta guard my time I think about that real fast okay if you

can just walk away from today understanding that you must guard your

time and your energy it'll literally change your life it'll change your

business it'll absolutely change instantly a minute that you make the

decision that your time and your energy are your two most valuable resources okay

so now we've got a couple of minutes left in the show this is actually my

favorite part we're going to open up for our Q&A or a Q&A so if you're on

Instagram or if you're on Facebook I'd love for you to ask me whatever you're

going through whatever you need help with and I will let you know I'm not

going to keep asking you you ask me I will answer and we will get through all

of these all right guys what questions do you have that I can help you with

Instagram Nick you're going to help me out on

Instagram what questions do you have that I can help you with and I'll answer

them to the best of my ability we have anything on Instagram just yet nope so

who's the first brave soul on Facebook come on there's about 70 of you watching

Jose time is priceless it absolutely is

Cory Tran asks what advice would you give a part-time new agent what advice

would you give a part-time new agent the first advice that I would give you Cory

is get stop being so vague and start getting more clear

because that is such a broad question right and I'm gonna help you here Cory

what advice you mean do you want me to give you about what about eating about

producing about making money about about what so this is this is for all of you

guys the clearer you are with your intentions in one area the clearer you

will be in your intentions in another area

Cory imma change your life right now you need to get very very clear with your

intentions and you need to get very very clear with when you intend it to become

full-time that's my answer the best advice I can give okay Carlos what is

the one book that made you successful there is not one book that made me

successful that's impossible as a matter of fact if I can answer that

honestly I became successful at 18 years old

I became successful the moment that I got cleared with the type of man I was

going to be the type of business I was going to build it didn't necessarily

mean that I had all the answers but you can because you can't at that age

I just knew deep in my heart who I wanted to become in the future and I had

a sense of what I wanted to look like and then I became successful I think

when I took that risk at 18 years old I was in business I was driving the my

tortilla truck I took a risk that was a risk that I didn't see that many people

around me taking so success happened as a result of the vision that I had and

the risk that I took to accomplish that vision a book, a seminar, a coaching

agreement, a mentor those all come to support the risk and to support the

decision so there's not one book necessarily but if you want I am on the

last podcast what are the last one I gave you three just off the top of my

head the greatest salesman in the world The Four Agreements

and the one minute millionaire are three spot on books and then yeah spot on books okay

we got one on Instagram Facebook I'm coming back to you next MoeResoles_realator asks I want to hit 120 transactions this year with a team of 4 what should I or what should I

as the leader focus on to be the most productive? yeah that's a great freakin question Moe number one you need

to get coaching message me honest to god that's the first thing you need to do

you need to humble yourself to realize that it's you listen guys in business

you can do things two ways the long way or the short way right and the short way

is to find somebody that's done what you've done and let them mentor you and

guide you but if I were to tell you the number one thing you need to focus on is

taking listings if they're not high quality pre-qualified listings you

absolutely do not invest your time in anything outside of that everything else

must be outsourced everything else must be delegated and in order to take a

to close a hundred and twenty you're gonna need to take realistically

realistically in the perfect model if I was coaching you a hundred and twenty

listings which would mean you need to take about ten listings a month which

would mean you need to average two to three listings a week that's what I would do and

it's doable because that's what I do

can I be successful working solo with no okay hold on we're getting a lot of

them down I'm getting backed up so hang on what's up Danny I get stuck whoa we're

gonna a lot of them Danny I get stuck on not doing my

follow-up religiously my issue is that I often feel like I'm pestering people

what advice would you give me that's a great question Alex um change your

perspective of it so this changed my life I used to feel

like I was bothering people until one day what I did is I started to realize

you know the reality is is that I'm the best guy out there doing the job that I

do none of my competition is better none of them and so as a result if people are

going to do something if they are going to buy or sell a house or if they are

going to do something that I happen to do the best option for them is me and

then I started developing the story a little bit deeper I started telling

myself wait a minute if the best option for them is me then what that really

means is if they choose another option that other option could be harmful for

them and then I started to reinforce that story like listen I did that as a

real estate agent and that's what got me the 10 to 12 listings I did that when I

built my brokerage and that's what God has looked if you're in Southern

California right now go look at the closed units for all brokerages in

Southern California two of our seven offices are in the top ten right now and

the beauty is is that those two have less agents than all of the other

offices and the other beauty is that those two offices don't have a national

name brand and the other beauty is then those two offices are the newest offices

out of the ten how does that happen it's simple I realized that I'm the best

at what I do at providing the service and the

training that the people need and where did I learn that I learned that as an

agent so Alex to answer your question listen my man you need to get clear with

how great you really are because when you are you're not

pestering people on the contrary you're helping people ok great question Alex

great question Shannon I need help creating my listing

presentation please steer me in the right direction Shannon you're with us

go talk to Wendy she could take care of that right away for you

Raul Tobates Raul what's up buddy I know you can I be successful working

solo and no team well Raul that depends on what your definition of

success is so for example just to give you an idea we have agents that we train

that are no team by themselves in some cases with no assistant closing 40 to 50

deals a year earning half a million dollars a year so I think that that's

pretty successful as a matter of fact Raul I think that you could be more

successful by yourself because for a couple of different reasons you'll be

more profitable by yourself so the answer is yes Raul you can become

whatever you want to become you just got to decide to become ok you got to

decide to become it and you got to guard the stories that you're creating about

whatever it is that you do so yes they're successful individuals they're

successful teams I don't think that's what matters I think that you've got to

just guard what it is that you're doing and you got a guard beneath it Instagram

E Jones news asks what is one unique technique you used to get business E Jones News

says what is one unique technique to get business you E Jones you're not going to

like this the one unique technique that I use to get business is that I don't

ever look for any unique techniques to get business

don't try to reinvent the wheel people look people this is the best advice I

can give you and I'm telling you this because this is what I do here's

here's the key I go and I find people that have done what I am looking to

accomplish I knock on their door and I say excuse me excuse me yeah me yohoo hey can I get your attention okay

you're really good at what you do I eventually want to do what you do how

much would you charge me to teach me everything that you know and then since

I'm not afraid of money I just pull out my checkbook

I ran a check I say here you go when do we start and then on the first

conversation I shut up and I listen to whatever they tell me to

do and then whatever they tell me to do this is theokay you're going to want to

write this down because this is going to blow your mind

I actually do it that's the key that's the key and so if you were to ask me what is

the unique thing that I do to generate business it's that I don't look for a

unique thing I looking for what works for other people and I go frickin

master those things that's what I do I keep it simple I'm not the brightest guy

in the world guys I'm really not I'm really not so I'm not trying to reinvent

the wheel what I am trying to do is I'm trying to see what works and then I'm

trying to get really really really really good at that as a matter of fact

I'm trying to become the best at that hope that helps let's see as busy as you

are okay so we're okay here's another one

Rimmel Sanchez writes how do I stay on track with my goals I want it now but

they seem so far this is a big one you got to stop looking at the yearly goal

and start looking at the quarterly goal and the monthly goal so Rimmel in your

case I know your goal you're one of our clients you want to close 30

transactions this year I wouldn't be focused on the 30 I would be focused on

what I to do in February to be on track to hit

the thirty how do you eat an elephant one bite at a time how do you eat an

elephant one bite at a time we've discussed this before on this show by

the way the minute you start looking at the big

picture is the minute you go oh my god it seems so far away so take that

picture and bring it down into bite-sized pieces and on a weekly on a

daily basis you should have something that you need to do to make sure that

you hit your weekly targets to make sure that if you hit the weekly target you

hit the monthly target if you hit the monthly target you hit the quarterly

target if you hit the quarterly target you will hit the yearly target as busy as

you are what is the key to managing work and family time to be successful and

happy Michael it's a decision to some of these answers you're not going to like

but they're they're the truth and I want you to listen to them over and over

Michael the key to managing work and family time to be successful and happy

is to decide that you are going to be a successful and happy businessman and

family man that's a it's a being choice Michael I want you to go watch the show

that I did with Claudia my wife it's a couple of it was like a year ago but

it's one of the best shows we've ever done but the key is Michael there's

going to be periods and phases in your life where you kind of gotta go all in

and then there's going to be period and phases in your life where you can take a

step back a little bit in the peak periods and phases of your life where

you got to go all in guess what you also need to go all in with communication you

got to be able to talk to your spouse you got to be able to talk to your kids

I'd invite them and I talk to them about everything I'll tell them hey guys

listen kids I just want to let you know I'm gonna be going away for a trip for

three days but as soon as I get back I'm gonna take the day off and I'm gonna

hang out with you guys or the opposite I'll take a day off or the afternoon off

before right or if I know I got to go for a good stretch of hard work you know

for like a four or five day hard stretch then I'll make sure at least one of

those days I get home a little bit early and I spend time with them but guess my

why that happens cuz you make a decision that that's what you're gonna be about

that's why okay Instagram Sandy properties asks how would

you best market yourself if you wanted to be available for the community you

want to serve okay Sandy how would you best market yourself if you wanted to

be available for the community you want to serve how would you best market

yourself if you want to be available you know this whole time I've been

wondering like where is that noise coming from it's coming from the iPad

but how would you best market yourself if you want to be available to the

community that you want to serve or I think the first thing I would ask myself

it's so funny I was just on those podcasts this morning all of you pay

attention please there's three types of lead generations

there's high profit low leverage

there's high leverage lower profit and there's higher profit high leverage

that's it whatever anybody tells you there's no wrong way to do it what you

got to do in this case what is her name Sandy in this case what you got to do is

you got to first identify where you're at in your life and your business I'll

give you an example yesterday we ran an ad right nationwide for our coaching

company we want to get it going because we believe and we know we're the best

available for anybody that needs coaching in the real estate space we

know that for a fact so now decide to spread the message

right so I can go about it two ways I can either go and start asking people to

let me go speak or where I'm at in my life I can afford to take my money and

leverage that money and run ads so that's being honest with myself I can

afford it all day long I can even keep putting it out there and keep putting

out there even if nothing else comes back I'm ok with that

but you may not be able to do that right now you may not have that luxury so if

you want to learn how to market yourself correctly the first thing you got to do

is you gotta learn to be honest with yourself right you gotta learn to be

honest with yourself how good are your skills

how good are you at converting if not you need help with

right how good are you and uh at going out and writing if not maybe I

wouldn't do that how much money do you have to invest in marketing if not I

would put that aside I would go out and I will go knock on doors and meet people

it's not what anybody nowadays wants to hear because it's called hard work if I

were to go on and work my tail off for three years doing the basics getting in

front of as many people as I possibly can and after three years when I'm

making a quarter of a million three hundred thousand four hundred thousand a

year by the way you're never going to get there if you don't anticipate it

there's a little key then I can start changing and I can start running

Facebook ads which for me if you're going to spend any money anywhere it's

on Facebook right uh guys I think I am done because

I gotta rest my voice I gotta get a bite to eat and I've got a coaching webinar

right here at one o'clock we have one here I'm gonna go rapid fire I don't

know how to invest and I have three thousand dollars to invest what I should

or should I invest in the short-term nothing that's too little keep going

keep working hard and keep saving your money you need way more money to invest

there's not much you can do with 3000 bucks just put it aside you know what I

did invest I did invest in peace of mind and I start to put away six months

reserves that's what I would do Danny you were in a funk before and you

mentioned that your kids in the ice chest was a turning point for you yes it

was what did you specifically for the 12 months after that experience yeah Dave

I went back to basics I'll tell you exactly what I did I told my wife babe you're

not gonna see me for the next four months she goes good get the hell out of

here and I went and worked seven days a week for four months in a row

and I went back to what I knew how to do which was it wasn't even all that

luxurious I didn't even go back to listings I really didn't to be perfectly

honest with you I went back and I worked with buyers the lowest hanging fruit

possible because I was in such a mental funk in my mind I knew I just needed to

feel good about myself people I couldn't even afford rent we couldn't even afford

our own place like I know now you follow me on Instagram and stuff I show you our

home and our property it's over an acre it's a beautiful property yeah just not

too long ago I literally couldn't afford a gallon of milk or rent Nick you were

right there Nick was literally right there when Claudia was 9 months pregnant

and got her car repossessed that wasn't too long ago so when you're in a mental

funk you gotta again be honest with yourself that's the problem

nowadays human beings hate being honest with themselves don't like the truth the truth was

I was in a mental funk so I couldn't expect myself to go out and

do videos I couldn't expect myself to go out and take listings I needed to go

after the lowest hanging fruit which at that time were first-time homebuyers and

so I went out for six months people and I am NOT fibbing at all

I closed 28 deals in six months I think it was even 30 deals in six months

working seven days a week I made enough money to pay everybody back

I got us our place and then I took a deep breath and I asked myself all right

now I'm out of the funk what do I want to do and that's what led me to this

but I would have never been here today if I wasn't honest with myself and

just you know be brutally honest mentally I wasn't strong enough to do

anything but go after the lowest hanging fruit Danny what do you recommend for

lenders in this market to best partner with agents like yourself and your team

Nate you're not partnering with myself and my team because we got a pretty

strong relationship unless you want to go talk to the relationships that we

have but if you want to talk to people you know other top people you got to get

in front of them you got to perfect your skills you got to perfect your value

proposition you got to get much much much stronger at much much much stronger

at understanding what your value proposition is and then you got to keep

dripping on them and dripping on them and dripping on them and dripping on

them and dripping on them relentlessly you got to be forefront of

their minds so that when they're ready to make a switch guess what boom they

call on you anything else I'll do these fast I have a schedule you're one of my

clients just message me you're welcome Thanks Danny thanks Danny yup you got it you got

it you got it friends relentlessevent.com I know

you'reu getting a lot from this but three days with myself and everybody go

check that event out we've got a new website coming up next week thanks again

if you brought any value or if you found any value from the show please

share it with some friends who might need this type of this type of advice you know

what this type of energy just kind of put them all right see you next

Business Productivity - How to get Productivity Superpowers - Duration: 3:36.

Hi.. I'm Judy Machado-Duque author of life purpose playbook and founder of

productivity goddess. In this video I am going to share with you how to get

productivity superpowers, so make sure you watch this video until the end so

that you can get a copy of my free worksheet called my before noon

income-producing method. So, let's begin. What's your revenue goal? If you don't

have a revenue goal that's like getting in a car and not having a destination

not having a GPS because you don't have a destination. And therefore you drive

around and around and around and around and you don't even know really where

you're going similar to in your business if you don't have a revenue goal then

you. Your GPS won't know what routes to take to get to to get you to your final

destination. You already know this the first step to

getting anything you want is to get clear crystal clear on exactly what you

want, because everything that we want in our lives we must first imagine it we

must first see it in here before we can see it out here. So, go ahead right now

and write on a piece of paper exactly what your revenue goal is for this year.

Income producing activities. What are some income producing activities that

will help you to reach that revenue goal that'll help you to grow your business

the reason why these are called income producing activities is because they

have the potential of producing income for you there are activities that you do

that have the potential of producing income for you. So for example contacting

somebody who is an existing client and asking for referrals, another example

would be booking a networking event or attending a networking event where your

potential clients are there and you're speaking to them, another example might

be following up with somebody you've already spoken to about your products or

services. My favorite one is reaching out to people every day and asking them

if they know anyone in their network who might benefit from your products or

services. I guarantee that there are so many income producing activities that

you can take on in your business so just take a minute right now and think of

those think of all of them and write them down and create a list

yourself. Step 3 pick one income-producing activity and do it

every single day. Ofcourse you can do any one of your income-producing

activities one every single day a different one every single day. However I

want to challenge you for a moment I want you to imagine that you chose only

one of those income-producing activities on your list and what if at the very

least you follow through with that one income-producing activity every single

day before noon. Imagine the possibility that can come from that imagine how

quickly you'll become an expert at that one income-producing activity just from

doing that over and over and over again and imagine the momentum that you can

bring into your business. You can see just how powerful it can be choose one

of those income-producing activities and follow through with it every single day.

So, there you go now you know my three tips to help you to get some

productivity superpowers but can you use some guidance to help you to take action

on those income-producing activities every single day? Well no problem! I have

got a free PDF for you called my before noon income-producing

method so make sure you click on the link in the description below and

download that now. If you like this video hit the like button below share with

your friends and be sure to subscribe! Thanks for watching and I'll see you in

How To Iron A Suit, Blazer or Sport Coat - Gentleman's Gazette - Duration: 12:46.

Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette and part four to our series about ironing.

Today we discuss how to iron a suit jacket or press a sport coat.

Many people are hesitant to press a jacket and even a tailor can sometimes takes 30 to

45 minutes to completely and accurately press a jacket.

Unfortunately the procurement tailors use is very expensive but I'll still show

you a way on how you can press a jacket at home with a very minimal investment in equipment.

First of all the easiest way to remove wrinkles from a jacket especially that is made out

of wool is with the steam.

The least expensive way is to hang your jacket on a hanger with

wide shoulder pads because it keeps the shape of the shoulder and then simply hang it in

your bathroom, turn on the hot water, let it sit in there so you create a lot of steam.

Let the jacket hang there overnight in the morning at least the most extreme wrinkles

should have come out.

An even better and faster alternative to the bathroom is to invest in a steamer.

Usually about 100 bucks will get you a long way then you will end up something that produce

a lot of steam and you could just steam your jacket when it hangs on a hanger.

It has the advantage that you can de-wrinkle specific areas such as the sleeve head, the

sleeve or the back and honestly it works really really well.

I had a suit shipped to me in very little packages and they came out looking really

really bad but if it's a quality cloth it will release wrinkles when it's steamed as

long as it is made of wool.

If you have a jacket like with linen or cotton you'll have to iron out and press it.

They're a little more difficult to iron but it's not impossible.

If you have a linen jacket you can skip the cloth because it can bear a lot of heat you

just crank up the temperature all the way and you go to the maximum steam setting.

The more steam the better!

If you just have a regular ironing board and an iron you're quite limited in what you can

do when it comes to pressing.

The easiest areas are flat areas such as the front quarters maybe the pockets and the pocket

flaps the center back seam and if you really want to you can also try yourselves on the

sleeves.

Just like with pants, drying two layers of fabric on top of each other which is not ideal

but doable.

If you want to iron your jackets at home I strongly suggest to invest about $35 into

a sleeve board and into a tailor's ham. Those two things will make it much easier to iron

your jacket and you can actually iron any part of the jacket to achieve a really wonderful

good proper result.

If money is of no concern to you definitely invest in that vacuum table because it sucks

away all the steam and it will give you better result without any waves and it's just also

quicker to iron.

First, I suggest you start with the body and you can lay it over the tip of the ironing

board similarly to a shirt.

Carefully work on the front quarters.

To prevent your jacket from getting shiny it pays to have a pressing cloth which could

be made of linen maybe an old t-shirt that you cut and generally want something that

has no lint and no fuzz.

Simply put between the iron and the garment and pull at the edges so you can see what's

going on while you iron.

The next step up from this is to get a Teflon sole because it will prevent the fabric from

getting shiny but you can see everything that's going on.

Once you're done with the front quarters it's time to go to the lapels.

Personally I really much prefer to iron the lapels on a tailor's ham and a sleeve board

because you get that natural rounding that the lapel has on your body.

A quality handmade jacket is always identifiable by their lapel roll.

Cheap suits or some that were pressed cheaply have very flat pressed lapel area and you

should avoid that at all cost because it makes it look cheap and you don't want that.

To increase the lapel roll you can even iron the lapel in the beginning part from the back

which really helps to achieve this beautiful bespoke style roll.

Don't iron over the lapel line that's folded because otherwise it's stiff and flat.

Once you're done with that you could iron the back area of the jacket.

That's easily done even on a regular ironing board with a regular iron.

Just pay attention to the seams which is the center seam and try to not press hard on them

but slightly on the side that way you won't see the pattern of the seams on the outside

of the fabric.

That's especially important with thinner more flimsy fabrics.

The same is true when ironing for example the corners of your back vents.

If you want a crisp result you can use a clapper to get that nice crease.

Next up it's time to iron sleeves and that's when a sleeve board comes in really really

handy.

Better than ironing two layers of fabric at the same time I prefer to have one layer of

fabric but a sleeve is usually never just straight.

Don't worry if there is a slight curve and you want to maintain that curve by ironing

in that same fashion.

Mostly for this I know are straight and so it's a little challenge but you can do it

by follow the patterns on the jacket sleeve.

If there's no pattern simply take that motion in a slight banana curve.

When you do that try to keep the curve of the sleeve

and don't press the edges otherwise you get a military-style look that looks very un-advantageous

on a regular jacket in my opinion.

Similarly to a shirt sleeve you simply rotate the sleeve and that way you ensure to have

a nice even result without any wrinkles and without any military crease on your sleeve.

Stay clear of the sleeve head which is better ironed using a tailor's ham.

You can really prop it in there, try to adjust it, pull things flat ideally over the sleeve

board because that way it drapes more easily nothing is in your way and you can just focus

on ironing.

It's a lot easier that way.

Use steam gentle motions and don't press too hard on it so you remove all the wrinkles.

When you're done with that slightly adjust the tailor's ham so you can iron the front

part of the chest as well as the back.

Again think about jackets when it's worn.

From the top here you want to go and iron in lines down and keep that same shape, same

in the back.

With that center seam and so you go in the shape it drapes over the body.

Gently use steam.

Now you can also iron the back area underneath the collar

and also the collar itself.

It's very difficult or next to impossible to iron a collar on a flat ironing board.

You need the sleeve board and a tailors ham so it can roll and drape nicely and just iron

little parts of it.

If you have patch pockets you can use the sleeve board as well to iron them and then

maybe the clapper on top to get a straight edge.

At this point you're basically done with your jacket.

Ideally you put it in a hanger or even better a mannequin so you can really look it over

and see any areas that you might have missed or it just got wrinkles while you were ironing

other parts.

Again take a look at the lapels.

Make sure the roll is there.

There is no puckering or any waviness.

Look at the shoulders, look at the sleeves again because sometimes you see creases on

the inside of the elbow or usually jackets crease above the bum around the waist level

in the back.

Last but not the least you may not be happy with the wrinkles in the lining.

Now ideally use your iron and hover over it with a steam and pull it at the same time

that will likely release most of the wrinkles.

If it doesn't you can gently press it or use a steamer that produces even more steam than

the regular iron and you should be good to go.

Just be careful not to press too hard because otherwise you may end up with wrinkles on

the outside of the jacket which is a lot worse than in the lining.

Alright now you know how to iron a jacket at home!

If you haven't already done so please check out part 1, 2 & 3 of this ironing series.

We talked about the equipment, how to iron dress shirts and how to iron dress pants.

In today's video I am wearing a red, white and blue check shirt with barrel cuffs because

it's easier than French cuffs when you iron.

I also skipped the jacket because I wanted a full range of movement so I'm not hindered

when I iron.

So I just opted for a blue Harris tweed vest.

I combined it with a Bordeaux red silk knit tie from Fort Belvedere and a pair of off-white

wool flannel winter pants.

White or off white winter flannels are not something you typically see these days but they were

quite popular in the 30s.

My shoes are full brogue derby wingtips in a nice chestnut brown and I combine them with

a pair of light pink and gray socks that provide just enough contrast between the shoes and the pants.

They're from Fort Belvedere and you can find out all of the accessories in our shop here.

2Minutes2Virtue - Stop, Look and Listen - Duration: 2:44.

Hello, I'm Father Scalia

I'm the Episcopal Vicar for Clergy

in the Diocese of Arlington

"This is my Beloved Son."

"Listen to Him."

Those are the words of

the Father

about His Son

at the Transfiguration of Our Lord

on Mt. Tabor

and the whole scene involves two human senses

First, seeing

The Apostles see Jesus

in His glory with their own eyes

"This is my Beloved Son," the Father says

because they're looking upon Him

And second, hearing

They hear the Father's voice

with their own ears

which in turn commands them again

to listen to His Son

Now these two senses

seeing and hearing

are ways that we understand faith

to believe enables us to see things clearly

because we see them in relation to God

We have the saying in our culture

that seeing is believing

But just the opposite is true

To see does not require belief

But when we believe

then we see things more clearly

Faith, as St. Paul tells us,

comes through hearing

and when we respond

to the Lord's words

with faith

then

we can

hear even more clearly

When we trust in Him by faith

we can hear His voice more clearly

more certainly

We need to exercise both of these spiritual muscles

the

spiritual seeing and hearing

And so the challenge for this week is

Silent adoration

Take some time

perhaps daily

to visit a place

of Eucharistic adoration

Spend between 15 and 30 minutes in adoration

of our Eucharistic Lord

Use your sense of sight

to gaze upon Jesus in the Eucharist

to increase your faith

by looking at Him there

and confessing Him as Lord

And do so in silence

Set aside the Rosary

or Scripture

or the Liturgy of the Hours for a time

Just before our Lord in silence

Don't fill the silence with anything

But rather allow Him

to fill it with His presence

so that both by seeing Him in the Eucharist

and listening to His voice

you will grow in faith

and be strengthened to continue

accompanying Him

throughout this Lent

Can you solve the seven planets riddle? - Edwin F. Meyer - Duration: 6:01.

Your interstellar police squad has tracked a group of dangerous rebels

to a cluster of of seven small planets.

Now you must apprehend them quickly before their reinforcements arrive.

Of course, the rebels won't just stay put.

They'll try to dodge you by moving from planet to planet.

But you have one major advantage.

Every hour, your state-of-the-art cruiser can warp between any two planets,

while their beat-up smuggling ship

can only jump to an adjacent planet in that same time.

These rebels don't like to stay put.

Every time they can relocate, they will.

Your scouts tell you that the approaching rebel fleet is 10 hours away.

You can't risk letting the rebels escape.

Can you devise a sequence for searching the planets

that's guaranteed to catch them in 10 warps or less,

no matter what moves they make?

Rounding up the rebels won't be easy.

For one, you have no way of knowing which planet they're on to begin with.

And without that information, it's hard to determine where they'll move next.

So where do you begin?

When tackling problems of this kind it often helps to simplify things,

so you can better understand their dynamics.

Let's imagine that this cluster has the same arrangement

but no outermost planets, leaving only the four in the center.

We still don't know which planet the rebels start on.

But there's one key feature:

the third planet is adjacent to all others,

which means the rebels either start there and move somewhere else,

or start on one of the other planets

and have no choice but to move to planet three.

Simply checking planet three twice in a row would do the trick.

Adding the three outer planet adds a bit more complexity,

but the same strategy remains.

We want to check the planets in an order that will eventually corner the rebels.

And there's another insight that can help us:

each hour, the rebels move from an even-numbered planet

to an odd-numbered planet,

or vice versa.

This gives us a way to simplify the problem

by dividing the planets into two subsets,

and tackling each one separately.

For starters, let's assume the rebels begin on an even-numbered planet:

either two,

four,

or six.

So we'll search planet two first.

If they're not there, they must have started on either four

or six.

which means they can move to three,

five,

or seven.

Planet three at the center gives them the most options for their next move,

so we'll want to check there next.

If we don't find them, they must have been at planet five

or seven,

meaning they'll next move to four

or six.

Let's now search planet four.

If they're not there, they must have gone to the sixth planet

and can only flee to three

or seven.

If we next scour planet three and don't find them,

we know they went to planet seven and are now cornered.

They can only move to planet six, where we'll apprehend them on our fifth search.

Of course, this plan only works

assuming that the rebels were on an even-numbered planet in the first hour.

But what if that assumption was wrong?

In that case, they must've started on an odd-numbered planet.

And because they move to an adjacent planet every hour,

their location must alternate between odd and even-numbered planets.

This means that if they were on an odd-numbered planet to start,

after five moves, they'd be on an even-numbered planet.

So if our first five searches missed them

because our assumption that they started on an even-numbered planet was wrong,

all we have to do now is repeat the sequence!

Searching the planets in order

two,

three,

four,

three,

six,

two,

three,

four,

three,

six,

leaves the rebels nowhere to run.

Thanks to your deductive reasoning, order is restored to the galaxy.

Family Karma: How to Release Energetic Ties From Your Ancestors - Duration: 3:13.

This article is about your ancestral ties, how you can release them and learn a lesson

or two about life from your family.

What is Family Karma?

Family karma is the karma that passes on to you through the ancestral bloodline.

If you consider yourself to be the most sensitive in your family and are at the other side of

your parental concerns, you may have experienced the energy blockage from your parents.

These blockages are burdens you inherit at the time of birth and can only let go through

a process of spiritual awakening during your lifetime.

Suppose you don't get along with your parents (like many of our generation) – it could

be due to an energetic baggage from the past.

We are consciousness projecting itself onto itself, and making our familial connection

as we go.

We are cosmic creatures – we make our bonds as energy attracts energy.

So, the family you chose to born in was already decided by the bonds you made in the previous

life.

Perhaps you and your father had karmic ties from the past.

And as everything in this universe has to be in an equilibrium, the weight of the karmic

baggage would fall on your shoulder.

This baggage would cause emotional barriers between you and your family, and make the

relation unhealthy.

How will you know if you carry the karmic burden of your family?

– You are the most sensitive and spiritually awake individual in your family.

– You've always felt a barrier between you and your family.

You are emotionally and spiritually disconnected with them.

– You have a passing feeling that you have to carry a grave amount of burden on your

shoulders.

– You have been stuck in unpleasant family business more than once.

– You are insightful enough to recognize patterns within your familial/ancestral structure

and take a step to change it.

How will you cut these energetic ties?

People may not subscribe to your outlook on life which would be deemed 'different'.

The first step to cutting these ties would be coming to terms with your own mind and

emotions.

Look within and face your demons in order to identify the illusions your parents live

in and are feeding you.

Let these illusions go – begin with a simple negation, a 'no'.

You'll come to understand that your parents are innocent humans with their flaws and spiritual

burdens, and they intend only the best for you.

You have been a victim of their vanity and falsehood, but now you emerge as a survivor.

You have learned to forgive and let go.

How can you transform family patterns?

In order to identify and eliminate any recurring problems from your life, you need to introspect

and meditate more than anything else.

Once you recognize the behavioral patterns causing the problems, you can bring the change.

However, it all starts with a single idea: "I am the master of myself.

I am my own karma-carrier."

Have courage, the different one.

There is a special place for you in this universe.

Lesson 69 Learn English - Health and safety - Differences Between Do / Make - Duration: 4:04.

Session 69 health and safety

Health and safety is a key part of any industry,

from fire regulations in an office to wearing helmets on a building site.

It may seem that some make a fuss and can be accused of being over cautious but

businesses are required to do their duty and protect their employees.

Businesses therefore do their best to ensure safety within the working environment.

A kitchen can be a very dangerous place to work if the right precautions are not put in place.

Chefs can certainly do harm to themselves and others if they do not observe health and safety protocol.

Hygiene is one of the major issues, whether you are doing the cooking or doing the washing.

Anyone who makes food to be served to the public must always wash their hands,

wear hairnets, ensure that food is not out of date, preserve the food correctly

(keeping the fridge at the right temperature, placing raw meat at the bottom of the fridge,

keeping food in airtight containers).

Regularly checking that hand soap dispensers are full, having a regular stock of hairnets

and gloves and making reports in regards to use by dates and cleaning procedures

are all essential ways to keep on top of Health and Safety within the kitchen.

Making sure your standards are high means that you don't have to make excuses

should something unfortunate happen, like food poisoning.

Doing a job as high profile as film making requires extreme vigilance when it comes to Health and Safety.

Firstly, you are responsible for hundreds of crew members and film stars.

Cameras, sound equipment, lighting, sets, constantly require

the utmost attention and regular maintenance.

Arguably, one of the most compelling and ominous accidents that have occurred

on a film set was the death of Bruce Lee's son, Brandon, on the set of The Crow in 1993.

Using a prop .44 magnum loaded with a full-powder blank,

too late it was realised that a bullet was already lodged in the barrel, hitting Lee in the abdomen and killing him.

What is so ominous about this unfortunate occurrence is that one of the prop masters,

making their check on the equipment, discovered a live round in one of the prop guns.

In fact, the entire film was plagued with accidents,

including, a carpenter receiving severe shocks and burns when their scissor lift made contact

with a power line, a worker driving a screwdriver through his hand and a stuntman falling through the roof of a set.

Even when you do your best to ensure complete safety, accidents can still happen.

The Return of the Musketeers (1989) saw the unfortunate death

of actor Roy Kinnear. After falling from a horse in Toledo, Spain,

Kinnear sustained a broken pelvis. He died from a heart attack at a hospital in Madrid, the following day.

The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 is the primary piece of legislation covering

occupational health and safety in Great Britain.

The Health and Safety Executive is responsible for enforcing the Act and

a number of other Acts and Statutory Instruments relevant to the working environment.

The modern fire extinguisher was invented by George William Manby in 1818.

Hey guys, what's up it's Myriam! Welcome back on OctoMag. Last week we saw how

to animate your social media bar, using Photoshop and Final Cut Pro and today we

are going to see how to boost your editing game, by adding cool transitions and

cool effects. So if you're interested keep watching this video!

So to start, Final Cut Pro has many cool transitions that you can use and you

just have to choose the one you prefer and just drag and drop it into your

But if that is too simple I'm going to show you how to use the green screen

method. So, the first thing you want to do is to go on YouTube and download a green

screen effect. Just type green screen transitions in your search bar, select

the video that you like but make sure to give the credits when you download it

To download the green screen that you like: use the link of your video and download

it thanks to a video converter

What you're going to do is to import your green screen into Final Cut Pro and

start cutting your video to select the transition that you prefer.

Next step is to place your green screen on top of your videos.

So once that's done, you're going to select the Keying tool and place it on the green

screen video. Let's see how it turns out!

If you want to change the color of your transitions, all you gotta do is to go on

the color correction tool and place it on the green screen video.

My Minimalist Perfume Collection | CORRIE SIDE - Duration: 3:05.

Welcome back to my channel! My name is Corrie. Today I'm gonna walk you through my

minimalist perfume collection. My signature fragrance is the Burberry Brit

Rhythm For Her Eau De Toilette. It's described as a lively floral fragrance

with an unexpected powdery twist. A rush of British lavender, intoxicating orange

blossom, and vetiver. This 90ml bottle retails for about a $110 CAD.

I discovered this scent when I was

photographing the bottle for a magazine and it reminded me of a piano teacher

that I used to have. An old lady scent, very powdery, very clean, very

nostalgic for me. I really loved it a lot! Another favorite scent of mine is the

Jolie Fleur Rose from Tory Burch. Its described as feminine and romantic.

It's a classic rose essence and fresh tea rose made modern with woodsy cashmeran

and musk. It also has Green Sap Accord, strawberry leaf accord, violet white

amber, and sandalwood. You can purchase a 50ml bottle for $108 CAD

but I opted for a rollerball for $34 after getting a little

trio of samples from the Jolie Fleur collection. The other scents in the

collection are the Jolie Fleur Bleu and the Jolie Fleur Verte which are inspired

by lily of the valley and tuberose. Finally the last scent in my collection

is Tea Garden. Tea Garden is a blend of green tea and white floral notes with a

hint of amber and patchouli. It is described as a light fresh and feminine

scent. I got this 50ml bottle for $30 US and I discovered this scent from YouTube!

Lucy (and her channel Loepsie) is from the Netherlands and she has a bunch of

historical and women of note throughout history video series. I love these

fresh feminine scents so I thought I would support her and purchase her

perfume! That is a look at my perfume collection. Definitely let me know your

signature scent or any other favorites that you

might have down in the comments below. If you enjoyed today's video make sure you

give this a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for new beauty videos every

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thanks of course to my Patreons for bringing these

How to Answer: Where Do You See Yourself in 5 Years? - Duration: 1:22.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

This is a question interviewers ask because it's basically your opportunity to rate

your own career trajectory.

Some people say "I'm going to be president of the company in 5 years"

If they're applying for their first job and it's not their own company,

that may be unrealistic.

Some people say "I wanna do the same job for 5 years"

Maybe that bar is a little too low.

Most people really end up somewhere in the middle

So companies want to understand where you see yourself on that trajectory, as well as

what your plan is to get there.

So I would say I wanna be a vice president of this in 5 years.

And I wanna learn these two skills and I'm planning to do it these ways before I get

there.

Great answer, because you know where you wanna go and you have a clear plan to get there.

So your opportunity in this is for you to do a little bit of self-reflection, think

about where you wanna be, and think about the steps and the gaps you that have to get

there and be able to explain that to the interviewer in a really concise way that's gonna make

them believe you've got a really strong plan, and a really strong vision for yourself.

Which will in turn, make them feel really comfortable giving you whatever responsibility

that you're interviewing for.

What You Can Do About Worrying - Two Minute Message - Duration: 1:36.

- [Daneil] Hey everybody,

Daniel Fusco here.

Welcome to today's two minute message.

So guess what, unfortunately all of us worry.

And I'm not talking about anxiety in a clinical sense.

I'm talking about we just are worrying about something,

what's gonna happen,

how it's gonna happen,

is it gonna work out.

Now, what's interesting is Jesus says don't worry.

And he says it numerous times in the sermon on the mount.

So I wanna give you the simplest logic on why Jesus

was absolutely right there, we shouldn't worry.

Here's why.

Are you worrying about something?

Let's say your answer is yes.

Do you have control over it?

And if the answer is yes,

then why are you worrying cause you can control it,

you can change it,

so worrying is a waste of your time.

Now, same thing.

Are you worried about something?

Yes.

Do you have any control over it?

No.

Well then why are you worrying about it because you

have no control over it so all the worrying

doesn't change it.

So either way, worrying makes no sense because if you have

control you can change it,

and if you don't have control, worrying isn't gonna

change it, so why are you worrying about it.

And that's why I love how simply, brilliant, Jesus is.

I think maybe the most important reasons why you shouldn't

worry is because God is God,

and God is good,

and God knows what he's doing.

So whatever you're worried about,

trust God, whose got it all under control.

So I want you to respond to this message in two simple ways.

First, I want you to share the message.

You know why?

Cause everyone you know, they're worrying too.

And it doesn't make any sense that you just told us not to

so we don't wanna do it.

Second, I want you to write in the comments about

situations where you were worrying but there was really no

reason to worry about because what you were worrying about

never came to pass.

Now we all have a million of this so just choose one.

But it will do is help us encourage one another to chose

to trust God instead of worrying about things that most

often never happen.

God bless you guys today.

Tony Donohue: Say Yes as Many Times as You Can | Episode 8 - Duration: 23:04.

*music*

[Taylor] Welcome back to As Indy Grows. I am Taylor with my cohost Remy.

[Remy] What's up? Welcome back—this might be their first time.

[Taylor] That's true, but you also didn't say "Boom goes the dynamite."

[Remy] Boom goes the dynamite Taylor!

18,500.

Do you know that is?

[Taylor] I have a feeling this is a stat.

[Remy] It's a stat. That's how many seats are in Bankers Life during a basketball game.

They can fit more in during a center stage, which is a 20,000 ish number.

I just thought you would think that's cool 'cause we're sitting in Bakers Life right now.

[Taylor] That's true. We are in the GVC Mortgage suite, the sponsor of our show

This is Episode Eight so thank you for anyone who is new joining us. We're really excited today. We have Tony

Donohue on our show. You will know him from 1070 The Fan, The Ride with JMV, on from 3 to 7.

So the show talks mainly about sports and pop culture's mixed in with that.

So it was funny because we actually know Tony from basketball, from one of the nights

we play and for those of you

who do not know Tony in a basketball-playing capacity, as soon as he crosses half court

he will let it fly. He has in gym range, so that's something that—

[Remy] Well, I let it fly too, but it doesn't go in

[Taylor] Sometimes it goes in, but Tony let them fly, and—

[Remy] Half court in gym range. Why aren't you down there playing with the Pacers?

[Tony] I don't know. My growth spurt ended when I was about 18

So I got stuck at about 6-foot-2, so, that's what it was.

[Taylor] That's nice to be stuck at 6'2." I got stuck at 5'10" when I was in 7th grade. And I'm still there.

[Tony] See, when I was in 7th grade I was about 5'2"

[Taylor] Oh, so you really hit the spurt.

[Tony] I went from shooting guard to trying to be a center, and I was like,

"I can't do this. Sky hook's working."

[Remy] And you're also trying to figure out the rest of things going on when you're that age.

[Taylor] That's very true.

[Remy] That's gonna affect your shot.

[Tony] Oh, yeah.

[Taylor] That's going to affect more than your shot.

Oh man, so it was funny because, then we started following each other on social...

And I start seeing the people that follow Tony that are, I'm friends with,

that only know him in a professional capacity so.

It's been really cool to kind of see all of

his audience be a lot of who my friend already are, so I really wanted to bring them on the show

So Tony, I could talk about you, but give a brief

"About" overview for the people who may not know who you are.

[Tony] Yeah, absolutely. So I've been with 1070 The Fan for nearly nine years.

And, it's one of those things that I kind of got lucky.

I mean, I think a lot of people say that about their job if they enjoy it,

and I went to college and

I ended up getting a part-time job through another familiar name you guys may know

Michael Grady who used to be the PA Voice series with Ted Snow and

So he was, I was lucky enough to have him give me a chance in the weekends with

Bob Lovell and Indiana Sports Talk and I grew up in Northwest Indiana,

so I would drive down on the weekends and either stay with a friend at Purdue or go and stay with my

grandfather out of Crawfordsville.

And that just kind of built up and actually the weekend that Butler played here and the Final Four in 2010

is when they moved me down full-time. So that's when I moved down, got my own place

You know people always ask me, being from "The Region" and outside of Chicago why I don't

live or work in Chicago.

Well, growing up, my first passion was the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the 500.

So that, that allowed me to be a Pacer fan knowing that,

"Hey in May, they're always doing updates about the Pacers in the playoffs."

And, Reggie Miller was my favorite player which is probably where I wanted to get my in-the-gym range

[Taylor] Let 'em fly.

[Tony] And, so yeah, so I've been doing it for a while and I started with Bob Lovell

he kept moving up, kept moving up, and then I became the, the,

the full-time producer at The Fan,

and that's kind of gelled into a cohost role with JMV.

And like you said, we're on from three until seven. And it's an interesting dynamic. He's, he's 47

He's got two kids, married man.

I'm 29, single, don't have any kids, but our target market is 25 to 54 male.

So, you're, you're one of the two, so it's interesting, like you said there's a lot of pop culture.

It's it's based around sports.

But, we like to get personal. We like to feel like you're in your car listening to two of your buddies talking because

you know, if you're on 465, you're stuck in a traffic jam or you've had a bad day,

you know, we want to provide laughs and something personal to maybe get your mind off the rest of your day

So it's an interesting dynamic and Jamie and I, we don't hold back.

You know, there's nothing that's, I guess, too personal. So we have a really good time

And I think that that's, that's what makes our dynamic work in our time slot.

[Remy] You still keep up with Grady?

[Tony] Yeah, I do. Michael's, you know, was one of my first mentors.

He went to Vincennes University, which is where I went.

And, you know, I always said, "This guy's ending up on SportsCenter one day.

He'll make it big."

And he fell in love with, I think, Brooklyn and the New York area over the last couple years and,

and got that job, and, I mean he's the right guy for it.

[Remy] I'm friends with on Facebook, and when he got that new apartment

he went live and just went through that, that whole scene and it was a beautiful apartment

But he's still doing his show, is he not?

[Tony] Yes, so he'll do his show. We have these devices that you can take, hook them up to the internet,

And then it runs to our, like our switchboard basically,

that has, you know, where you can run the commercials on so he'll do that, and that allows,

I mean, we'll do shows from Bankers Life Fieldhouse when JMV's live here,

or at Colt's complex, or Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

So Michael has one of those and that hooks up every morning and then a good buddy of mine is his

producer David Dearing, so

everybody kind of knows everybody in there, and it's a small, tight group and

We all just keep moving forward.

[Taylor] Right. Well, we're talking about content

What has changed in the radio industry since you started?

[Tony] Yeah, it's a great question. So I was actually a journalism major in college.

So I was newspaper, I wrote the sports page down at Vincennes, and I just kind of decided,

"I don't know how long my future is going to be in

newspaper print journalism," so I decided to take a stab at radio.

I mean, I've always been able to talk to people, I've never met a stranger and I've always loved to talk sports.

So I thought, "Give it a go." What happens?

Well, my stepmom works in radio. She's been in radio for a while as a salesperson.

She's kind of told me, "Be ready, be careful because there's a lot of things that you're not going to realize." But

It's ever-changing you know? People think, I mean, we had an AM station.

Now we're on both AM and FM.

And we have a whole digital content that, you know, from Twitter to Facebook to our website.

We have a writer on our website that writes Colts and Pacers, and it just, the more content

you can put out there the better. So we have, we do videos...

And just ever-changing with what people—not only in our target market

But also younger people that are coming out of college.

I mean, that's more so there in the videos and being able to watch something and have

instant news right there at the palm of their hand whether it's Instagram Twitter or Facebook.

So, we do a pretty good job of having a presence on that and being able to

provide our content that we can take from their shows, and then putting it into the podcast,

putting it on the videos, into, maybe an article, because, you know, with that kind of a target market range,

there's people that wake up and like to have their news right there at the palm of their hands

And they want to read it, they have people that want to watch a video,

so you're just kind of balancing out that target market.

[Remy] let me ask you about analytics then. So if you're, if you're back in the day when all there was was radio

and newspaper and, you had, you had the show, and then maybe it got a little bit reflected

depending on what you were talking about in the paper.

Now you have all—everything you just talked about, you got social media.

When you're talking about the success of your show,

are you looking at the numbers of how many people listened,

or are you also checking out how many people are engaged?

Maybe they don't listen to the entire show, but they watch the little snippets on social

like do you guys care about that?

[Tony] Yeah, no absolutely. I mean, it's, it's all about advertising dollars,

and, and you can look at the ratings just from the radio

And then you could take, "Hey, would you like to sponsor our podcast?

Here's how many downloads that we get or listens that we get every week."

Or, "Hey, here's how many followers you have on social media

and here's how many impersonations that you can get on Twitter."

Or "This is how many Instagram followers you have." So it's all about, you know, from a sales side

monetizing that, and we put that on there so that sales people can go to say,

"Hey, you know, JMV's got fifty thousand Twitter followers. Tony D.'s got ten thousand followers.

Together, you know, they have 60; we can sell that."

So, like you said I mean it's, it's monetizing a lot of that.

But we do have, like the analytics to be able to check that, on almost a daily down to an hourly basis.

[Taylor] So are you taking notes?

[Remy] I'm taking, yeah, I don't know.

[Taylor] Because something we talk about all the time, so yeah, it's great stuff.

So you hit on Tony D.

So here's something that I was curious about: how many people ask you a day what JMV actually stands for?

[Tony] Yeah, I think, so, I don't, John is John to me because we're friends outside of the show.

But yeah, JMV gets asked that a lot. It stands for John Michael Vincent.

Which was a nickname given to him by Mark Patrick.

[Remy] Hold up. Is this like, history in the making? No one knows what his name is, and then all of a sudden—

Is this groundbreaking? Because I didn't know.

[Taylor] I thought I found out even something furthermore is that is his?

What's John Gilva?

[Tony] His last name, he might get a little, I don't think he'll get mad, but his last name is Gliva.

[Taylor] Gliva, ok.

[Tony] And in my generation, so to speak going into radio,

People have nicknames, but nobody that I've seen at least my age range has changed their last name.

But a lot of people, you know, that were in the 90s generation,

I think, had—went by aliases. I know a lot of people that have been working in radio for 20 to 30 years,

yeah, going by an alias.

[Taylor] Ashton Kutcher. I mean there's so many people that do that.

Yeah, I was curious because I saw it in an article.

Something else I saw was, how often does he bring up beating Brad Stevens in a game of Horse to you?

[Tony] That's funny because

It's more so, he likes to bring up how much he shoots when he plays basketball, and how he

will be—he'll yell, and he's yelling at himself, but people think that he's like,

incredibly upset when he's on the basketball court so.

Yeah, that's probably his claim to fame is beating Brad Stevens but,

you know he, him, and I both share a passion for basketball

We love to play it as you guys know, and we love to talk about it.

So, you know, we just—and we, we'll just talk outside of the show like, "Hey, how was play last night?"

You know, "Aw, man, I played bad," or, "I played really good," so.

Him and I in the same boat like, I get angry when I walk out of the gym,

and I just play bad, and I can't wait to get back. You know, it's a release

I mean, it's a release to get away from everything, go out and play some hoops. So, I've always enjoyed it

[Remy] I'll tell you what though, the thing about basketball is just a lot of sports that you cannot play

when you get older, and some people are not able to play basketball.

But I played at a couple open gyms where there's guys in their 50s and even 60s.

And let me tell you, when you've been shooting the ball for 40 years, you don't miss!

It's incredible. There, these guys are my heros.

[Tony] You don't forget it overnight.

[Remy] It's amazing.

[Taylor] And it's one thing that they have that they can still do and so that's gonna be their bread and butter.

Who would win in a game between you and John in Horse?

Can you go on the record or do you just want to leave that alone?

[Tony] It would be close.

[Taylor] Would it? So he's a good shooter then.

[Tony] Yeah, John and I used to play together and I think he said on air one time that I took away all of his shots.

*laughter*

So, it would be, it would be close. I would say, if we did seven games of Horse,

it would definitely go down to a game stuff.

[Taylor] Back and forth? So... Tony D. Would you ever go to just TD?

[Tony] I was TD in high school a lot, so that's what a lot of people called me. And...

I've been calling a lot of things.

But, I mean, I just, Tony D. just kind of stuck

And, I've always been cool with it. Never really thought twice about it.

[Remy] So we need podcast nicknames. What is yours? Tay Tay?

[Taylor] Or Tay.

[Remy] Put a rest to that. He's like "Put a, do not start that."

[Taylor] No I mean I'll

[Remy] #TayTay.

[Taylor] So, you could do that. But typically all my friends will just call me Tay.

[Remy] I don't call you Tay.

[Taylor] And I call him Rem.

We shorten it. You know, you abbreviate everything.

[Remy] Is that my podcast name? Rem?

[Tony] I like that.

[Remy] It's kind of boring.

We'll work on it. We'll have a new one by the end.

I'll be over here working on that while you guys talk.

[Taylor] It needs to be one of those... wedding...

hashtags where we combine the two names. That's what it needs to be.

[Remy] Ok, here we go.

Let's not answer that one, let's let our fans answer that on the next podcast.

What should our, what should our wedding, our couple name. Our cohost couple name,

[Tony] Because every wedding these days you have to have a hashtag.

[Taylor] You have to. You have to be able to follow it on social.

So you said that you've been called a lot of names.

I want to know, do you know, JMV has a hashtag and it is #JMVSucks.

And it is estimated to originate in 1969.

[Remy] Really?

[Taylor] 1969. can you give us a backstory—

[Remy] How does a hashtag originate in 1969?

[Taylor] I'm just going by the Twitter profile, which is way

[Tony] That's when he was born. So he's been, so it must be since birth.

[Taylor] Yep.

[Tony] It's an interesting story. People call in and they're not always gonna agree with you.

It actually happens all the time, but.

The way John and I look at it is it makes for good conversation because, what you may believe in

it's not what I believe in and, you know, that could be on any topic whether it's Pacers, Colts, life in general.

So a couple years back. I would say 2012,

somebody called in and was like, "JMV,

you suck. JMV sucks." And, this guy kept calling over and over and over and he would just,

he would, he would call me and I would answer the phone, "Hey, you want to go on with John?"

He would give me a fake name and then as soon as John said. "Hey, hey Jim welcome to the show,"

"JMV sucks!" You know, at first, I was like, "Alright. This guy's really irritating.

But you know what, this is funny. Let's run with this. Embrace it."

And so he kept calling and calling and calling and John's like, "Well, let's just take off with it, see where it goes."

Well, it really took off here at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a WWE event.

You know like when you're watching a wrestling and people have their signs in the crowd.

Well John was like, "Hey if you have a 'JMV Sucks' sign in the crowd,

We'll let you come in studio, hang out with "us." So like, three or four people did it and then it became,

people were trying to bring those signs in and security wouldn't let 'em

because it—you know, it's said, "JMV Sucks."

So people would come in and like, have a sharpie and then make the sign inside.

And then we started making shirts on it and like you said, I mean, in the age we are today

where everybody has to have a hashtag and be able to follow something to keep up it kind of took off from there .

And, it's on t-shirts. It's on mugs. We've got it on—

[Remy] Would you say that's your strongest brand from the show?

[Tony] I mean it probably is, you know?

[Remy] Wow.

[Tony] I mean, people know that—and now, and now

it's kind of turning from something where you think somebody's ripping you or making fun of you till,

it's kind of a compliment. "Hey, JMV sucks!"

like, you know, some people will, will finish that by saying, like, "You really don't," but then like,

we just take it as a compliment anymore because—

[Remy] because that means they're listening.

[Tony] I mean it's like, you see the commercial now where people are like, "Dilly dilly." Well

It's just kind of, our thing.

[Remy] It's part of the brand.

[Tony] Yep.

[Taylor] So you've owned this.

[Tony] Yeah.

How do you guys handle negative feedback

that's maybe a little bit more serious than just the JMV

sucks and you can tell that they actually really disagree with you and no matter what you say,

Their opinion is fact.

[Tony] Well I, In the maturity that I've grown, I guess, over the last couple years, I used to get upset,

and like, it would really irritate me, and then, you know, JMV being in the industry as long as—

He'd say, "Hey man, just think about this: they're interacting with you. They're listening.

[Taylor] Mmhmm.

[Tony] They're listening to us.

It doesn't matter if they agree or disagree. They are still listening. So, we know that

we're doing something right if they're still listening and they take the time out of their day to tweet us."

Now, sometimes with like, breaking news type stuff, people,

I mean, I got a call and was the person who broke the Brad Stephens and the Celtics news.

And you kind of can't believe everything you hear because you can just get somebody that calls in

and says, "Hey, this is happening."

Well, okay. And the difference between like print journalism and radio is if somebody tells me that I trust,

I can go with it. But you know with all the guidelines, of

posting when it comes to newspapers or journalism

you have to have three different sources so. We can run with something and

being on the radio, being live at that point, and being on Twitter, what's up to date

you know, it kind of took off. And, I mean we've seen stuff from the last couple months with Andrew Luck

that even I've Tweeted out or JMV has had.

People are not gonna believe you because a lot of times, maybe what you're telling them

is not something that they want to believe because it's negative towards a brand or a team that they support.

Or they just disagree, and, you know, you just got to be able to go with your opinion and stick by it

and know that there are always gonna be people that agree

and there are always gonna be people that disagree.

But I, at the end of the day you know, I'm a producer and I cohost with John so, I'm paid to give my opinion

And how I'm feel on things and sometimes

JMV and I disagree. He looks at things different than I do and,

you know, you just kind of have that but it makes—at the end of the day people are listening, it makes for good

conversation. And, as long as they continue to tune in to maybe see—

'cause I don't mind seeing somebody else's angle or how they look at life.

It just, I feel like that's how you grow.

That's how you have a show that people want to listen to because it's not just one opinion,

and if you're wrong on that opinion

I'm not going back, like I'm gonna tell you how you're wrong so. It just kind of makes for good discussion

[Taylor] Yeah, absolutely. So, you kind of hit it on, thick skin.

You definitely need that. For our viewers or listeners that

You know, they're scared to put out their own content, so part of it is, you're paid to put out your opinion.

If you didn't do that, you would not be doing your job.

For them, for say, an entrepreneur or someone who really wants to start trying something on the side,

but they're just scared because they're

debilitated by other people's opinions. What would your advice be, because it sounds like it takes experience.

But, what's the best advice you could give them on

not being scared to put out their own content and getting negative feedback?

[Tony] Well, I guess, I want to, maybe "lame's" not the word as it sounds,

I just look at things like, "Hey, what matters to me in my life is my job, my family, my friends.

And, as long as I don't do something that's

going to make my friends not like—" just, you know, you got to go with it. And, I kind of look at it as,

I mean, if you told me nine years ago, I'd be here, doing what I'm doing,

I would have, you know, there was so much I didn't know, but like, you just got to take risk.

I mean, that's what life's about is learning, and getting that experience,

And, if I would have never just made that cold call to Michael Grady to try to get a job,

I wouldn't be sitting here—who knows what I would be doing? Maybe back at home in the steel mills

which, is a good life for some people but that's not for me!

So, I just think, you know, if you have

that passion to do something and you want to do it,

who's to tell you no? So just go out and do it. you're gonna.

I mean, you're gonna fail, people are gonna be upset about some things you do.

But, you just learn and move forward, and I always say, "I'm still gonna go to bed tonight so."

That's just kind of the way I look at a lot of things.

[Remy] Hey, I got a question real quick before we run out of time. You mentioned,

you know, cold calling Grady and some of the first steps.

There's tens of thousands of kids in college that are getting out or even

people in their 20s that are trying to reach where you're at

What was the X factor? How did you get to where you're at and ten thousand plus other people didn't?

[Tony] it's funny, bringing up Michael Grady. He always he told me from day one,

"Say 'Yes' as many times as you can." So there were nights where I would stay, you know, I,

He saw that I was giving up my early 20s to work on a radio show as my first gig from 9 until midnight on

Friday and Saturday nights when most kids want to go out,

and party or do whatever. And I was taking shifts Sunday afternoons, and I really didn't want to do,

but I thought, "Okay, the more and more I do is the more and more that I'm going to learn." And...

Michael Grady who was my boss at the time,

you know, in his brain, "Oh, well Tony did this, let's let's give him this opportunity."

And I think just,

knowing that I was always willing and able to do anything that they pretty much asked me to do.

You know, so, you got to have a good work ethic and then, you know, like you said

there's, I have a natural ability

I think, to be able to talk, and...

I've never met a stranger,

and be able to sit in front of a microphone and talk to, what I think might just be the three of us

But, you know, thousands of people could listen to this.

or JMV and I, knowing that, it's just him and I talking in studio,

but, there's a lot of cars around 465 or driving home, or people, I mean, we've got fans all over that listen from

Minnesota to Seattle, that listen online so. It made us, in my brain, it's just John and I talking having a good time.

But really, I mean there's tens of thousands of people listening on a weekly daily basis.

[Remy] Just so you know though, this is the most popular podcast in this room. I mean,

[Taylor] You know he has his own podcast.

[Remy] The three of us listen to As Indy Grows more than anybody I've ever seen.

[Taylor] I think Tony D. has us. I think Tony D. has us on his podcast.

You need to listen to him. They're very entertaining.

[Remy] Yeah, give us the rundown of that.

[Tony] Yeah, I'm on Twitter @TonyD1070,

and I have a Facebook page and...

Podcast at 1070thefan.com, you'll see Tony D's blog.

I do a lot of, like IndyCar, because that's kind of what I'm passionate about, I kind of want to have an in with.

But I, you know, in the wintertime

I talk a lot of Pacers, Colts, give my opinion and,

like you said, it's a personal thing so I like to talk about like I'll do one about how—

[Remy] Gosh, you get paid to do that.

[Tony] I know.

[Remy] I get told to stop.

[Taylor] We get told to stop; you get paid to keep going. That's nice.

[Tony] I like to do sports, but tie it in to like

Just my lifestyle. You know? Like, "Hey, it's Valentine's Day. I'm single. What am I gonna do?

Oh, I'm gonna probably go play basketball or stop at the White Castle and get a 6-pack of Sliders and a Coke, you know?"

So I like to like, add my personal life because I have learned that

My friends, people like to live vicariously; through me sometimes because I get to do a lot of cool things.

And it's awesome, fortunate opportunity

[Taylor] Do we have time for a question of the day, Brittany?

Awesome. So, this is something where we allow you to ask our audience—

which is also going to be some of your audience when this show is released—a question of the day.

It could be something about a specific team,

it could be something on a macro level that you just really want to know in general.

[Remy] It's a challenge.

[Tony] What's the first app you open up when you wake up in the morning?

[Remy] Hm.

[Tony] 'Cause mine is Twitter. Some people might be Instagram, some people might want the news,

could be ESPN. So what's the first app when you wake up in the morning?

'Cause I think everybody probably sleeps with their phone within a foot from them.

[Taylor] Yep, that is true.

[Remy] Mine's under my pillow sometimes.

[Taylor] Just let it sink in osmosis?

[Tony] Yeah.

[Remy] Yeah.

[Tony] Well, I have learned this is a true story; it's really weird. I'll keep it short.

When I sleep with like, my phone like, on my bed?

I'll have like these dreams, and I'll wake up and that person in my dream, it's like, their birthday on Facebook.

Or they Tweeted me that morning.

[Remy] It's because Facebook has an algorithm that's tapped into your dreams.

[Tony] They, I think they listen to you. I think they listen to you because I'll like, be sitting there like,

"Oh, let's get Pizza Hut tonight."

[Remy] No question they do.

[Tony] Two minutes later I'm scrolling through—

[Remy] No question they do.

Yep, there's a feature for sure that says if your microphone can be used, if the Facebook app

is open, so you'll see the next day that you'll have ads. It's creepy and useful all at the same time actually.

[Taylor] Well Tony, thank you so much for coming on this show. Thank you Remy.

[Remy] You're welcome Taylor.

[Taylor] Another successful episode, thank you—

[Remy] Tay Tay!

[Taylor] Our producers—or Tay or Tay, whatever you want.

[Tony] There's like, maybe the next episode. There's some venting down there about Tay Tay.

Like something happened.

[Taylor] I don't know what it is yet! That's insane!

[Tony] Like, something happened a long time ago when you recalled that and you weren't a fan.

[Taylor] Must've been, because I don't know where you would have got it though.

Thank you to our sponsor GVC Mortgage. Thank you to all our viewers and listeners

[Remy] I am @remram4 and you are what?

[Taylor] I'm @taylorjhall on almost every social media.

[Remy] I started following you; did you notice that?

[Taylor] You've been following me for a while.

[Remy] I know but, I was trying not to, but I did.

[Taylor] Yeah he gave in. You know, when you put out good content, people are gonna... follow it.

[Remy] Thank you, Tony. D.

[Taylor] Thank you so much!

[Remy] Boom goes the dynamite.
