Waching daily Feb 3 2018

what can't man we're gonna try it okay I think I'm live on both pages trying it

on phones today so let me know hi Karen so last week we had hi Julie last week

we had totally technology problems on my personal page so I'm gonna give the

warning again if you get kicked off I'm live on both of my pages hi Cassandra

thank you so you can always go to the other one if my internet goes down good

morning Julie hi Ben hi Melissa hi Wendy so I started to keep a list of topics to

discuss on Facebook live so for those of you new here sometime between Friday and

Sunday I go Facebook live for a live teach because I love teaching live and I

love engaging with you guys and seeing what questions you have and so I have

started to keep a list of topics so if you have a topic that you would like me

to teach on you obviously know what I talk about all the time shame

vulnerability Brene's stuff showing up in your life and living authentically

and health and self-care and all these things so as you probably also know I am

growing my youtube channel so this is another way that I have another video to

upload to the youtube channel and that people can see me interact live and

teach and so one of the topics that I wrote down on my list to share about

live is forgiveness because it's actually one of the topics that we talk

about in the rising strong curriculum so when you come into a rising ever upward

workshop with me grief and forgiveness is one of the sessions that we talk

about or perhaps you're going to join me for an online version of that workshop

it's in the works people in the works we got to work out a lot of stuff so make

sure you watch for that so forgiveness is

tricky son of a b... it really is

forgiveness is difficult the great part just like I put in the comment to this

live is that there are a ton of amazing resources when it comes to forgiveness

and it's not the simple adage anymore of forgive and forget it's just not we are

more complicated than that people are way more complicated than

that we're all flawed we all mess up and so forgive and forget what's happening

in with that oh hold on I'm on Chad's phone confront cancel sign in prevented

broadcast pause resume I'm on Chad's phone on one of the pages I don't

remember which one so just tried to do something sorry you

know you're doing good work when you have technology problems because the

enemy tries to shut you down okay anyways let's get to all these resources

cuz you know I'm a total resource crazy person I love resources all you have to

do is look at my nightstand chad has tried to cut me off of Amazon multiple

times it just say it's not gonna happen okay so the one of the toughest parts of

forgiveness and why forgive forgive and forget is so difficult for so many

people is well number one we don't forget especially I mean let's be honest

women our brains are just not wired to forget there's an awesome video actually

I will link it called the nothing box but like we our brains are like a ball

of wires everything is connected to everything else and the searing energy

that runs it through or that like runs it is emotion which when you attach an

emotion to anything in our brain and lives it's seared into your brain so

forgive and forget definitely doesn't work for women it does not work for men

either though so but the biggest the underneath area of why forgive and

forget is so difficult is because trust is broken something has changed

something is lost I have to recalibrate my relationship with that person or even

a situation or whatever it is so like when it comes to trust that's one of the

biggest difficulties is that like something is forever different it's why

we just can't forgive and forget so because I'm a huge resource person I

love the research and and I love giving you guys places to start to work and so

I'm gonna link all of these things in the comments below but so one of my

favorite things researchers on forgiveness is Dave Asprey and some

people know Dave Asprey from the bulletproof diet a lot of people are

drinking bulletproof coffee now I am one of them I love it but Dave Asprey is

actually his his claim to fame is bulletproof but really he does a ton of

research on meditation and how we get our brains to the calm calmest place

we've ever that research has ever seen he hooks you up to like all of these

machines in this room and he teaches you meditation and what he has found in his

research is called 40 years to Zen I've looked it up last time I looked it

up it was like $15,000 to go for five days so not in the budget yet but it's

gonna be there one day so what happens is he hooks you up to all these machines

to like rate when your brain is at the calmest and meditation obviously makes

your brain pretty calm I'm going to do a video on meditation because there's a

ton of new research coming out and meditation that lots of you who hate

meditation will love but what Dave found in his research is that when you are

practicing what we call radical forgiveness that is when your brain is

at the calmest state ever radical forgiveness is also a great book I need

to add that to the list actually it's a great great book but so when you are

practicing radical forgiveness in other words you are forgiving that person into

love Vishen Lakhiani is another person that

I love he's the author of The Code of the Extraordinary Mind that's who I

discovered Dave Asprey through Vishen

talks about he has an amazing amazing video I'm gonna say a really bad word

right now so if you have a child around you please plug their ears Vishen

Lakhinani's video called Unfuckwithable is amazing and he talks about

how radical forgiveness is part of this healthy and happy life that we are all

yearning for and we all really do have to work for and so when he talks about

forgiveness when Vishen talks about this radical loving forgiveness he

says a couple things that are really really really helpful that I

use as mantras and I think that you will find helpful also number one hurt people

hurt people hurt people hurt people most people are not sociopaths and truly

messed up Nassar is probably a sociopath okay but those families still need to

forgive him because forgiveness is about us right so hurt people hurt people that

kind of helps us in our forgiveness journey and the other thing that Vishen

always says is that God only sends angels which is another way to

practice that gratitude and really remain open to receive the lesson that

you're needing to receive when you are being hurt or disappointed by someone

that you love so this Vishen talks about forgiveness and his like

meditation he has a meditation called the six phase meditation and there's

literally a section in it every day that you use this meditation that you you

envision that person or situation that you're struggling with that you're

struggling to forgive and you say the words I forgive you and I ask you to

forgive me and then you envision this is all in

your mind's eye that person saying the same words to you I forgive you and I

ask that you forgive me some people even say like then you

embrace into a warm loving hug which I know for a lot of us can be difficult

but there is a significant piece to that meditation one of the other meditations

that totally so freaked me out when she was talking about meditation Carolyn

Myss has a morning meditation and she taught I mean I almost I felt sick to my

stomach when she said this and yet it was so powerful so she was talking about

someone that you are holding a grudge with or you're really struggling with

forgiveness with and you imagine that it's the last day of your life and that

they are the person sitting by your bedside there's some perspective for you

and that's literally all she said and at first I was like that's terrible like

screw you right and then you really think about it

like the things that we're holding on to and the hurts and the

and whatever at the end of the day doesn't matter that much at the end of

your days if that's the person sitting beside your bedside are you still gonna

hold on to that anger that poison that's been killing you slowly because that's

what not forgiving does to us really so that's Carolyn Myss now let's get to

some of the Brene stuff right so the Brene stuff that we talk about

in the rising ever upward work and the rise in strong curriculum

she puts grief and forgiveness in one session and the book that she talks

about is The Book of Forgiving by the Tutu's I'll link it below once we

get once I get off but the book of forgiveness

Brene literally says is the most important book written on forgiveness

and I will back her up on that one of the reasons I love the book of

forgiveness is because um well he talks about the apartheid in South

Africa so those people forgave each other and if they can forgive each other

we can forgive people right but then also at the end of every chapter he has

like a journaling exercise a meditation a prayer and it's not a religious book

if religions not your thing it's more of a spiritual book he does reference

Jesus in a couple places but it's more of religion than spiritual which we'll

get to that in a little bit but one of my other favorite things about the book

of forgiving is that at the beginning of the book he literally has you pick a

stone and the first chapter he has you hold on to that stone in your

non-dominant hand for six hours and go about your day and then every chapter

after that based on the the topic of forgiving is that you do something with

that stone and it's just it's so powerful I'll never forget holding on to

that stone and so it just it forgiveness is a choice for us like we've heard that

you've seen those memes you watched those memes that like forgiveness if you

don't forgive it's like drinking poison yourself and expecting your perpetrator

to die as all of those things but like forgiveness is for us if you are holding

on to that dark energy and hate and hurt you continue to give them power every

day when we talk about it in the rising ever upward work

what Brene was Brene's never been able to write about forgiveness until

rising strong that the not his last book the book before because she hadn't met

saturation in the data and what actually got her to saturation in the data is

realizing that forgiveness is really about grief when you forgive someone

what really has to happen is something has to die and what I've been learning

in this work whether or not you do Brene's work with The Four Agreements or

whatever all of this amazing stuff that we have access to the research is that

often when I am struggling with forgiveness is the thing that has to die

is my expectations because I have said actually I've said to some of my pastors

and I've said and some of my writing actually I don't think I've written

about this yet and I'm gonna write this in a speech I'm hoping to book a talk

here Christy I'm just gonna claim it right here I'm gonna meet with her on

Monday and I'm gonna I'm booking that talk and I'm thinking about including

this but for me what happens when the person you need to forgive is God um it

seems like I cry on every facebook live so just get used to it um but in my

journey of infertility and loss like in in my faith wrestle um really coming to

my faith is that like I had to give myself permission to say those words out

loud what if the person that you feel like you have to forgive and you're so

pissed off at is God like how do you do that let alone the people in your

life that hurt you right like how do you forgive and the

really crazy part about forgiveness is that yes there are so many resources

like all Dave Asprey Vishen Lakhiani the book of forgiveness the tutu's

Carolyn Myss and I mean then on top of that all of the Christian writers that

I'm not even get talking about in this one so like there's a ton of resources

when it comes to forgiveness and yet there's still this piece that you do

just have to forgive and forgiveness takes trust trust

that it will be okay no matter what you believe in that everything that happens

to you is happening for you and that even if you don't get to understand it

on this side of eternity or whatever you believe in that you can trust that it's

happening for the higher good for His plan for your good even if you don't get

to get it right now that's how you forgive you forgive with trust Trust is

a whole other shit I gotta add that to the list I guess that's a whole other

call or teach I will add that because we talk about that in the rising ever

upward work too my last part of this and I woke up with us this morning

and I've written about well I I don't know if I written about it on the blog I

talk about it in my TED talk and it is actually gonna be the part of the ending

of the next book the complicated gray

that whole forgiveness of God and especially if someone is a Christ

follower they will say you know Christ is the ultimate example of forgiveness

you know God gave his one and only Son to forgive us of our sins and therefore

we must forgive everybody else and that is true I mean it's true you cannot give

love or compassion to someone else if you don't have love and compassion for

yourself same for forgiveness if you cannot

forgive yourself you will not be able to forgive others this work starts with us

always self compassion Kristin Neff talking to yourself with like you would

talk to your loved ones but forgiveness of yourself is how you will forgive your

loved ones the other side that often is not talked about in the faith walk that

I am changing I have I have a Bible plan called he walked it first not many

people have read it whatever and I'm gonna talk about this in the complicated

gray and I talked about this in my TED talk just a little bit but like yes is

Christ the ultimate example of forgiveness of course like I posted it

this week like Christ literally looked at the cross and then looked at us and

said you're worth it like that's really powerful

that doesn't make you become undone then we need to talk the other side of that

is don't you ever forget that he said those words like take this cup from me I

don't want to do this like don't make me do this and he still did it

he asked like why have you forsaken me and it was just that that human power of

or the human power of emotion that like this is really hard and I'm going to

trust this and that's how forgiveness works you are not going to forgive

somebody because you feel like it or because it's easy or because you want to

you forgive them because you have to because if you don't it will eat you

alive for the rest of your life you forgive them walking into the muck of

the complicated gray and giving yourself permission to feel this is hard and I

don't want to do this and I don't think that they deserve this and at the same

time I'm gonna trust that this is for my higher good and when I forgive them I

can heal even more and live my best life

so you forgive and yep you use Christ as an example and you use all of these

other resources to help you and at the end of the day you choose to have

compassion for yourself and for them knowing that we're all just a bunch of

flawed freaking people trying to figure this life out so you forgive so that's

what I got today I cried three times maybe that's gonna

be the thing of Facebook live - I cry actually three times um and I'm not

gonna answer your comments throughout because I just get on my

freaking soapbox but I want to talk I want to just quickly I'm gonna go

through so Christie says oh yeah oh yeah yoga training I forgive you and release

you you are free and I am free then we burn the paper I love that Christie I'm

not gonna I'm not gonna click see more on the phone because I'm Way too scared

it will screw something up on my live so I'm gonna I'm gonna read the full

comment when I jump off of this but like I love I forgive you and I release you

and I am you are free and I am free like that's what forgiveness is it's

forgiveness is for us but like I also I think the biggest

piece and how we consolidate that and wrap our brains around that is that

oftentimes the forgiveness is really about the death of our expectations that

we were expecting something from someone that they just didn't have to give it

doesn't mean it didn't hurt it still kind of means that that probably is

their best but their best is not good enough for us that's I mean we talk

about that in all my lives it seems like but like the forgiveness requires the

death of my expectations that I'm expecting something from you that maybe

you just don't have it to give and if I'm gonna hold on to that and not

forgive you and hold on to that pain that shit's definitely on me it's not on

you Julie yes this but you have to get that book um add it to the pile my pile

of my nightstand is so out of control it's so out of control but I love it I love it I

love it what else I have I have had I have had to say with my words I forgive

long before that same forgiveness is that all Thank You Tina

yes that's such a good point um I think that's in the book of forgiving actually

he talks about specifically just saying like um I forgive you I forgive you and

that's in the shack like that's in the book the shack again no matter where you

see it on theology the Shack is still has amazing lessons in it but that's in

the shack too like you say the words I forgive you you do the actions I forgive

you even if you aren't quite feeling it in your heart yet because that will

start to change it that totally of course I'm going to plug my self-care

stuff because when you practice self-care and you do the actions not

because you love yourself enough to practice self-care but because you

believe in the actions that's the actions that will actually help you

start to believe sorry no I'm not sorry it's kind of it's not gonna stop

apologizing for being me um releasing our hands from around their throat our

energy shifts and I've noticed sometimes that can bring actually the actual

healing to the relationship in time of course Christy yep thank you for that

because I mean they talk about make it in the book of forgiving to forgiveness

does not that you still have a relationship with

that person um some people are not meant to have in our lives and that's okay

like some people are here for seasons or reasons forgiveness does not mean that

you're in my life it means that we're okay so all right I have no idea how

long it's been and I try not to be on here for super long cuz I actually do

want people to rewatch them so thank you for being here if you have ideas for

Valentines Day Makeup Tutorial TO MAKE UR BOYFRIEND OBSESSED WITH YOU | Annesha Adams - Duration: 12:31.

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my channel, and if you're new welcome!

Today's makeup tutorial is on this Valentine's makeup look.

Now I decided to do

something so simple, but still sultry and seductive just for Valentine's Day

because I was like okay this Valentine's Day I'm going to go very subtle and

simple and have that emphasis on my lips. Okay.. and then on my clothing of course

and then my hair because I was just like I don't want to wear a lot of eyeshadows

so I felt like if you're someone who wanted to still wear makeup for

Valentine's Day but do something simple, but sultry, still seductive for

Valentine's Day I'm here for you.

if you're new to my channel, I suggest that you

subscribe because I do a lot more videos similar to this and follow me on

instagram at @Annesha.Adams because when I'm not here uploading on youtube. I'm over

on Instagram uploading so yeah so if you're

interested in seeing how I achieve this makeup look stay tuned and let's begin!

it's already did this line really simply easy only need three eyeshadow cars so

I'm gonna go on with this one and again since the shadow is so simple and easy

the rest of the makeup is going to be emphasized in a little bit emphasized

but like forgotten times day for me I'm not going out I'm gonna be like chillin

you know and doing simple things I want to wake up and your makers are we coming

up anyways though so I have okay so I got this eyeshadow palette so I made my

own little palette and these are colors that I got from NYX and Sears

I think this Sears in the US as well but encountered a Sears close down like it's

not this day and they are having like 90%

off so I went to Sears trying to buy the makeup that was like my first movie god

I remember they have a makeup department let me run and go I went in there they

barely had any makeup and this is what I could get my eye to I got this little um

this mud makeup this pallet thing to here so I'm just gonna be using a little

bit of clothes from here I already set my base right here as well I just use a

concealer and brought it down I am going in with my Laura Mercier powder and I'm

just going to put that on my eyelid just to set studying your eyelid is crucial

okay it will set the base for your makeup so your makeup you want so much

more seamless and you just want to pot the powder onto your eyelid now time in

the powder onto your eyelid is going to set the powder into the creases of your

eyes so when you go in with the eyeshadow it's able to blend much more

easier and everything just goes onto your eyelid way better so Pat it in and

then you just brush off the excess and this palette right here I'm going going

to be going in with this creamish nude it's like a tannish creamy nude color

I'm going to be putting that on my brow bone and you're gonna focus it on the

bone part on your eyelid this is just like a bone part right here that's where

we're gonna focus the color so I really start at the end of my brow bone here

because that's where the most product is going to be distributed and then you

bring it up some people like blending in circles I just go into the windshield

wiper motions sometimes I'll go in circles but mostly when she way

promotions okay so after doing that you just want

to blend out the outsides of what you just put on now so everything seen it's

more seamless just gonna add a little bit more

and the funny thing with our channels looks are very deceiving because those

are channels coming out we darker and how it looks in the palette okay after

doing that we're going to go back in with this pile again and this is just a

darker Brown literally it does not matter the brand or anything just use

shades similar to mine so now you're gonna go in with the dark brown and

you're just gonna go in to your crease with a dark brown now the reason why I

use a darker brown color which is closer to my skin tone for a crease because

it's gonna give that defining look I want my eyelid and even my eyeshadow to

have dimension to be defined and you do that with going in with darker colors

and the brown is like your best friend put the brown in the outer corner see

how so much product came out on the other outer corner so that's why I start

off with my outer corner just so all the first product can be distributed on my

outer corner and then I just bring it into my V and then a little bit that I

have I bring it to my outer V and then since all of the powders concentrated at

the ends of my eye right here I just I just go in circular motions just to

blend that out a little bit I hope it's not too dark going to turn down the

brightness just so you all kid I'm just going to go in and blend this all out

once again and I just want everything to be seamless so I like how it looks right

now okay last color I swear so simple I'm gonna go with this black that has a

little bit of sparkles on it and if any of you are wondering what happened to my

nose I'm a full video on it might chit chat get ready with me video so you

often watch if you want to figure out what happened to my nose because it's

money anyway so I'm gonna focus this black on the outer that's the only place

up going to focus this black now I'm applying the black to my outer crease is

because I wanted to define my I would give it more a smoky look I want to give

a more intense sultry seductive look to this simple boring plain makeup look and

that I feel like the way to do that is with a block just add a little bit to

the outer V of your makeup bring a little bit into your crease and I'm

telling you you're going to see a big difference going to blend this out and

then I'm gonna pie Markus I don't like the pigmentation of what I put on now if

you want to go in with winged liner I suggest a one with winged eyeliner

because I feel like it will put on them look a little bit more - as well but I

personally don't like doing the winged eyeliner I feel like my eyes are just

too small for it and it just takes over my all my eye shadow due to me having

small islet so if you have small eyelids like me I would recommend you skipping

we wait eyeliner unless you think that you can still fluff my eyeliner and it

won't take over all of your eye shadow now after doing this we're gonna going

with their face now I don't think I'm going to do my hair like this I might

I'm still think I might just keep my hair back in a ponytail like this I

don't know yeah I don't know I just feel like my head looks big okay while my

eyelash glue is getting tacky I'm gonna go in with do makeup might as well so I

always put my foundation on my concealer brush and with this foundation now I'm

using the back ultimate coverage foundation I'm in the

color maple if anyone's interested the thing is with this back up ultimate

coverage foundation it dries literally in two seconds

sir you have to start blending now because once you put it in an area and

you don't blend it it sticks right there on your face and you have to actually

tear apart your whole entire skin to get it working

that's all I need downfall with this foundation I've been using it for a

while because I kind of like the finish it kind of reminds me

the finish is similar to the laura mercier and it's not as drying as a Kat

Von D but similar to the Laura Mercier

the Estee Lauder I can't believe I said Laura Mercier it's only to the Estee

Lauder foundation in the sense of how it dries

but I feel like it's still a little bit less drying than the St Olav yeah I

literally have to move my nose put foundation

my nose is 5

okay so I'm gonna go and not forget about my eyelash glue this time and I'm

going to put on my eyelashes then I'm gonna finish up with this makeup okay

after putting on our foundation I'm gonna go in with highlighting contouring

I have a full in-depth detailed video on how to highlight and contour your face

for a small face especially if it's small and it's a little bit rounded

because I I personally think my face is small and I'll have some roundness to it

so I had a full video on how to do that I go into detail of like what exactly do

why I do what I do why I do what I do know what why I do what I do and then

I'm just patting the makeup into my skin I don't know if it's only me but when I

want people blend out there couldn't see wears on their face I feel so good on

this like yes then you want to go in with your contour color and literally

I'm using like a really dark foundation in this covergirl line they don't have

they barely have any dark shades I think they only had two offering at the

drugstore where I was I and it was like a really dark shader or really late

shade and I was like what it's going on I'm on it and I was like okay this is

way too dark and I was in this summer too and um I get talked in this I'm

really tall and I love it and this couldn't even this wasn't even working

so I'm just blending all this in this hair is getting in the way

when it comes to me contouring my nose I always use minimal product on my nose

okay after blending out everything we're going to go in with setting now I always

sit underneath my eye with a translucent color or just a white lighter color

powder and that's what you want to do I

just set my contour areas I'm using my banana powder I'm going to go on with my

bronzer and I'm going to touch-up that after so while this is all setting I

always going with finishing up with my eyes and I'm just using the dark brown

that I used on my crease and I'm just going to bring that down underneath my

eye and I'm just intensifying the look I'm giving more so this is such a simple

look we get out we can do such simple things but a little bit more and it'll

look like you did like a full-on clown take a look I love it next we want to go

in with your mascara and just elongate your lower lashes okay so after you

taking off all your powders when you go and set your face setting my face is one

of my favorite things to do I say this in every single video the reason is

because when you set your face when you spray your face you're basically merging

all the layers of makeup that you're putting on into one layer and it's gonna

give you a skin like flawless finish now this background cosmetics illuminator

highlighter that I have they say it's a highlighter but the way I put it on and

the way that it looks on my skin it looks like illuminator because it gives

me such a natural it gives me such a natural finish and I like a light

nominated rapper going under the name Childish Gambino.

At the young age of 34 Glover has quickly entrenched himself as a force to be reckoned

with in the performing arts community.

He has also made a living by thriving in the internet world so it should be no surprise

to anyone that he has admitted on several occasions that he believes the sky is the

limit for cryptocurrency, namely bitcoin.

He has been quoted as saying that he thinks in the future the economy will be tied into

the internet and cyber technology.

He has also said that he believes the gold standard is going the way of the dinosaur

and that cryptocurrency makes more sense.

is a big believer in the future of cryptocurrency.

He is so adamant that the world will be dominated by cryptocurrency in the future that he has

founded his own company aptly named Mike Tyson Bitcoin.

His company claims to be a safe place for the buying and selling of bitcoins and has

developed their own bitcoin ATM.

They unveiled their first functioning ATM in 2015, located at the LINQ Hotel and Casino

in Las Vegas.

Though he has had his share of financial troubles he believes his newest venture is destined

for success.

He has been quoted as saying, "No one knows better than I how uncertain the economy can

be and at this juncture in my life it is imperative that I am proactive about my financial planning

and for me it includes Bitcoin."

#11.

"Ashton Kutcher"- Famous for his roles in the hit sitcom That 70s Show and as Steve

Jobs in the movie Jobs, Ashton Kutcher has become one of the biggest celebrity investors

in technology over the last decade.

As one of the founders of A-Grade Investments Kutcher has backed such several successful

start-ups as AirBnB and Uber.

One of his newest forays is into the world of cryptocurrency.

He recently invested in and aided the fundraising efforts of the digital currency Unikoin Gold.

Unikoin Gold is so far solely used on the blockchain platform Unikrn which specializes

in sports betting.

Using a cryptocurrency as a substitute for actual cash could potentially allow sport

bettors to avoid being caught for betting from regions of the country where sports gambling

is currently illegal.

Kutcher has also previously heavily invested in Bitpay which is a payment processor that

is helping to make paying with Bitcoins in everyday retail environments more streamlined.

Kutcher has been quoted in the past as saying cryptocurrency is a step into the future for

the security industry.

#10.

"Floyd Mayweather Jr."-The most financially successful boxer of all time Floyd Mayweather

Jr. is invested in all sorts of things so you better believe he has his cryptocurrency

bases covered.

He has been heavily involved in three different cryptocurrency ICOs.

He has been at the forefront of investing and promoting the companies Stox, Hubii and

Centra, openly endorsing them on social media and putting millions of dollars of his own

money into them.

However the main one he has backed, Centra, recently became the focus of a class action

lawsuit.

Those filing the suit allege that the company sold them an unregistered security and were

deceiving in their sale pitches.

The company had raised over 30 million dollar upon their ICO, owing much of it to Mayweather's

bold promotions.

#9.

"Nas"- Nas is one of the most revered rappers in the game and is considered a living

legend by many.

He quickly became hip-hop royalty in the 1990s with classic albums such as "Illmatic"

and "It Was Written".

But Nas didn't stop with his successes in the music industry and smartly invested his

fortunes in several different areas.

He is one of the founders of the venture capital company QueensBridge which invests mainly

in technology.

One of the biggest areas that Queensbridge has been a part of in recent years is that

of cryptocurrency.

Queensbridge is one of the most prominent investors in the digital wallet company Coinbase.

Coinbase has been one of the most profitable companies when it comes to bitcoin and their

app for the iphone was the most downloaded app of 2017.

With his companies investments in Coinbase and several other digital currency start-ups

Nas stands to be one of the most prominent celebrities involved in cryptocurrency for

the foreseeable future.

#8.

"Paris Hilton"- The heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune, reality television star and

attempted actress/popstar who made a name for herself by being the opposite of a role

model for young women everywhere has thrown her gaudy hat into the cryptocurrency ring.

Paris Hilton has found recent entrepreneurial success independent from her family via her

perfume line and accessory stores.

Hilton is still wildy popular on social media and has used this clout in order to promote

several products and one of those which she most recently endorsed was that of LydianCoin

a new cryptocurrency.

In September of 2017 she tweeted that she was looking forward to participating in LydianCoin's

upcoming Initial Coin Offering.

Hillton's and other celebrities public endorsements of cryptocurrency have come under fire as

of late as the legality of such promotions is in question.

Some say that celebrities backing cryptocurrency ICOs infringes on federal securities laws

and may be a form of pump and dump scheme.

Because of this and Gubaksh Chahal's (the CEO of tech company Gravity4 which runs Lydiancoin)

mounting legal troubles Hilton backslid on her involvement and deleted the tweet only

a few weeks later.

It may have been too little too late as she may have already profited from it.

#7.

"DJ Khaled"- DJ Khaled is a world famous record producer and DJ who has made some of

the most iconic beats of the last twenty years.

He has turned his music success into further financial profits by many fantastic investments.

One of his most recent ventures was that of becoming heavily involved in promoting Centra

and its app that provides cryptocurrency users an easy to use wallet.

But just as with Mayweather his involvement quickly ceased when Centra was hit with the

class-action suit.

Like Mayweather he had also used instagram to advertise Centra's special payment card.

#6.

"Jamie Foxx"- The superstar actor, comedian and musician Jamie Foxx is probably most famous

for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the biopic Ray.

Foxx has been heavily involved in investing in many different businesses over the years

and his success rate in promotions has companies clamoring for him to put his face on their

products.

The new cryptocurrency exchange Cobinhood was no different and quickly pegged Foxx to

be one of their celebrity endorsers.

In September of 2017 Foxx announced his entrance into the cryptocurrency scene when he posted

a tweet that endorsed Cobinhood.

Cobinhood touts itself as being one of the first cryptocurrency trading sites that offers

trading of bitcoin and ether without any fees.

#5.

"Louis CK"-Before coming under fire from a series of allegation Louis CK was considered

one of the best comedians of a generation with sold-out comedy tours and a popular television

show.

Louis CK is also one of the most financially successful comedians of all time and in the

world of cryptocurrency he was a pioneering artist.

CK most assuredly didn't achieve this massive bankroll by pooh-poohing payment just because

they aren't based on a centralized system.

Not at all!

In 2015, CK became the first professional comedian to enable copies of his shows and

albums to be bought using bitcoins.

It started with his album Live At Madison Square Garden and after integrating the bitpay

payment platform into his website, you can now buy most of his comedy shows with bitcoin.

Though he diversified his income options into the realm of cryptocoin he wasn't mainly

money-grubbing, as fans have the option of paying anywhere from $1 up to $85 or 0.005791

bitcoins maximum, using the current rate.

#4.

"Richard Sherman"- As a pivotal member of the Seattle Seahawks' vaunted 'Legion

of Boom' defense cornerback Richard Sherman is one of the National Football League's

most famous faces.

The four-time all-pro and Super Bowl champion is also known as having one of the shrewdest

business minds in football.

Sherman has garnered lucrative endorsement deals from a bevy of companies including Nike

and has invested his money in several different equities to preserve his financial future.

He also has one of the most successful online merchandise shops of any athlete in America

today.

With this type of business savvy it should be no surprise that he was in on bitcoin early

on.

His website was one of the first to offer athletic clothing that could be purchased

using bitcoin.

Because of his own personal success utilizing the cryptocurrency, Sherman has become a fervent

supporter of the decentralized system and is constantly researching new ways to make

it work to his advantage.

He does admit that there are inherent dangers in putting too much stock in something that

is based in the quote 'less than reputable' world of the internet.

#3.

"Gwyneth Paltrow"- Gwyneth Paltrow is a Hollywood Starlet known for her appearances

in critically acclaimed films such as Iron Man and The Royal Tenenbaums.

In the past couple of decades she has used her acting successes to spread her tentacles

of influence into activism, investing, spokesmanship and various entrepreneurial endeavors.

She has written several cookbooks, is the face of the Estee Lauder's perfume line

and founded a successful though controversial lifestyle brand called Goop.

Recently while participating as a judge in the Apple Music reality game show Planet of

the Apps she chose to become an advisor to the company Abra.

Abra is a company that's main focus is an application that provides bitcoin--based money

transfers at the click of a button.

The company's CEO Bill Barhydt chose Paltrow over the other judges on Planet of the Apps

and say that she has already helped the company's progression with valuable insight and he hopes

that she will be an integral part of Abra moving forward.

#2.

"Ghostface Killah"- As a member of the legendary rap group Wu-Tang Clan and through

his subsequent solo albums, Ghostface became a rap icon.

Like the other musicians on this list Ghostface hasn't remained satisfied with only achieving

success with his music, instead he prides himself in being an all around business man.

In addition to numerous cameo roles in television, film and video games Ghostface is also a prominent

figure in Wu-Tang's other business ventures.

But that's not why you're watching this, the fact is where other celebrities may have

dipped their toe into the cryptocurrency market Ghostface is diving all-in.

In 2017, Ghostface partnered with marketing professional and software development expert

Brett Westbrook to found Cream Capital.

Owing its name to the Wu-Tang hit song C.R.E.A.M., Cream Capital claims to be the first Ethereum-based

dual token system and is aiming to create the world's largest network of cryptocurrency

ATMs.

Their system is based on Creamcash which they intend to keep valued at a 1 for every $1

dollar.

Creamcash is a dual token system because it can be exchanged for the Ethereum cryptocoin:

Ether.

So far the sales of CreamCash have been indefinitely suspended but they continue to open ATMs across

the globe.

#1.

"Bjork"- The uber-talented and enigmatic Icelandic singer songwriter Bjork is one of

the world's most celebrated artists.

Bjork always seem to be ahead of the game when it comes to innovation in music but her

ability to seemingly predict the future doesn't stop there.

In what is one of the coolest applications of cryptocurrency to date Bjork teamed up

with the company Blockpool for a trailblazing promotion.

Blockpool, which hosts their own digital wallet and started the website Aurovine, which is

a music platform that utilizes a blockchain and the cryptocurrency Audiocoin for payment.

When her most recent album 'Utopia' was released purchasers received 100 free Audiocoins

along with the music.

These coins (along with several other digital currencies) can be used to purchase more music

on Aurovine.

One of the main reasons that Aurovine is becoming popular among musicians is that it uses the

blockchain format in order to better protect their music from piracy.

Not only is this good for the artist's as it assures they are being paid for their hard

work the website is fun and incentivizing for music lovers.

You can actually earn Audiocoins on Aurovine by merely listening to music on the site which

is like a gift that keeps on giving.

This may be the first solution to the piracy epidemic that attempts to address the consumer's

perspective.

Do you think celebrity involvement is the sign of a bright future or the impending doom

for cryptocurrency?
