Number 5

Brollachan

Imagine darkness.

The pitch dark darkness.

You wont know what's lurking inside.

You won't want to know what's lurking inside it because ignorance is bliss.

But in the darkness you see a set of red eyes with no definite body.

Slowly coming towards you.

What do you?

What could you do?

Well, the pair of eyes would probably be from a creature known as Brollachan from Scottish

Mythology.

It lurks in the darkness and prefers to hide in the shadows near a body of water.

It would linger at night on empty roads near the outskirts of towns, lurking and waiting

for a victim.

If you're a child, be scared as they like children the most.

But its not that picky as it would attack almost anyone, even animals as long as they

are weak willed.

How do they attack you might ask?

Well, they possess people and slowly wither your life force.

The only time you can see it is when it wants to posses a person or an animal.

The tell tale sign that one is possessed is that they would have red eyes just like the

Brollachan and the colour of their body would turn darker than normal.

The only way to not be attacked is to be strong willed and not be vulnerable emotionally.

Which is easier said than done.

To drive the Brollachan away, you need someone who knows the special ritual and the herbal

medicines needed.

I'm sorry to say, I do not know the specifics.

Apparently the herbal medicine is very hard to acquire.

Now, if you manage to get the Brollachan out from the victim, be careful as it can cast

spells or curses.

If you don't manage to get it out, the victim will perish and someone else nearby might

get possessed right after.

Number 4

Wendigo

This folklore creature comes from the Algonquin folklore of Canada and some parts of Northern

US.

There are many different accounts on how they look like.

It can range from a furry beast-like creature to a human-like creature.

But the earliest known description of the Wendigo is that it has gray skin, sunken eyes,

yellow fangs and a long slimy tongue.

Technically their appearance are like vampires that are starving and rotting for quite a

long time.

Now, according to folklore, it's a creature that is forever hungry for human flesh.

They could also turn into the form of a spirit and possess people.

Of course when possessing people, they would still have the same never ending hunger.

Thus the people who are possessed would turn into monsters that crave human flesh.

Number 3

Pishacha

This creature is another flesh eating demon.

But the Pishacha can shapeshift or become invisible whenever it wants.

Other than flesh eating, they can also possess people and cause them to have mental ailments.

They are said to have a dark complexion, including red eyes and bulging veins all over as if

they are constantly angry all the time.

It is believed that the Pishacha has their own language and can communicate between themselves.

Imagine a coordinated attack from them.

Scary.

Now, these creatures don't just eat human flesh, they eat human energies as well.

They would possess you, suck out your energy and would play around with your thoughts,

memories and even your sanity.

The only sure fire way to kill a Pishacha is currently unknown.

But in hopes to keep them away, some people would leave offerings for them during religious

functions, festivals or funerals.

Number 2

Penanggal

This monster is found all over Southeast Asia under different names and slight difference.

It's usual description is that it has a woman's face, a long tongue, it flies and it has no

lower body with its entrails are showing.

Thus a flying head with the esophagus still intact.

This creatures is very dangerous especially for pregnant women and fetuses because their

favourite food is the fetus.

Next best thing is a newborn but they also eat other human's internal organs as well.

It is believed that a penanggal is actually a black magic user turned monster.

Either due to a curse or due to a craving of power.

So in the morning, the human part can walk around normally but at night it would detach

its head from its body in search of prey.

But in doing so, their body that they left is their weakness.

So to defeat them, you have a few options.

It all requires for you to search for their body and to stop them from going back.

So, either you distract it long enough or you hide its defenseless body.

Because if it can't return to its body before morning, its pretty much defeated.

Number 1

Mu Onna

Not to be confused with the Nopperabo as they are both humanoid creatures but with a blank

face.

Now, the Nopperabo would only scare people and does no harm.

But the Mu Onna is a vengeful spirit that seeks lost children.

It was said that the Mu Onna was a mother who lost her child due to famine or war.

She probably turned into a yokai or a supernatural monster due to her resentment and thus became

a yokai that seeks children.

This yokai is believed to mean no harm.

It seeks lost or sad children to protect them.

It would comfort them and lul them to sleep.

Then when the children sleeps, she would absorb them into her very being.

Absorbing them leaving nothing behind.

So though the Mu Onna's intention is good, the children she wants to protect are never

safe.

Could You Die From Drinking Too Much Water? - Duration: 2:00.

We've all heard the recommendation to drink eight glasses of water per day, and while

the science is still out on exactly how much water you should drink each day, there's

no doubt that hydration is essential.

Each day we lose around two to three liters through normal functions like sweating, breathing,

and going to the bathroom.

But can you drink too much water?

Believe it or not, you can!

Known as water intoxication, or water poisoning, it occurs when you drink more water than your

body is able to handle.

Your blood contains a certain level of sodium that your kidneys regulate.

If that level drops too low, say by drinking more water than your kidneys are able to process

at once, then your blood becomes diluted and watery - a condition known as hyponatremia.

That excess water in your blood is carried around your body where it enters your cells,

causing them to swell up like balloons.

Now most of the cells in your body are able to handle putting on a little extra size,

but there's one place where you definitely don't want that to happen – the brain.

Your brain sits snugly inside the skull, which means it has no room to expand.

As your brain swells and pressure in the skull increases, blood flow is decreased depriving

your brain of oxygen.

The first symptoms of water poisoning are headaches and nausea, but as the brain swells

further you can have trouble breathing, experience seizures, go into a coma, or even die!

The exact amount of water needed to cause water poisoning varies from person to person

and depends on a number of factors like how much you are sweating, but most of the reported

cases involve people drinking multiple gallons in just a few hours.

So don't force yourself to drink more water than you feel like you need.

If you let your thirst be your guide you should be just fine.

Kay Adams: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know || CACAO TV - Duration: 6:57.

Kay Adams: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

As the Super Bowl approaches, NFL fans are relying more and more on NFL Network for exclusive football coverage.

Good Morning Football is one of the prominent shows on the network, making Kay Adams one of the leading voices in NFL coverage.

Adams has been dishing on the NFL for the better part of the last decade, and has found a home at NFL Network after previous stints with other news outlets.

Here's some background on the Chicago native:.

Adams is Up at 3:45 a.m.

For Good Morning Football.

Adams' primary duty is hosting Good Morning Football, the daily morning news program on NFL Network.

She hosts a four-person desk with former NFL player Nate Burleson, writer Peter Schrager, and analyst Kyle Brandt.

The four discuss the day's hottest football topics, and are regularly visited by the biggest NFL names.

Along with the Sunday show NFL Gameday Morning, ratings are up at NFL Network.

Good Morning Football, which is in it's second NFL season, was up eight percent over it's debut season in November.

Started As An In-Game Host For The St.

Louis Cardinals.

Adams strictly works for the NFL these days, but she bounced around early in her career.

Her earliest break in sports came with the St.

Louis Cardinals, where she bounced around the stadium as an in-game host.

From there, Adams began to narrow her focus on fantasy football.

On Sundays, she works as the host of "Fantasy Zone" for DirecTV, which breaks down the fantasy impact of NFL action as it unfolds.

She also spent time working with NBCSports in Boston, appearing on a video series called "Quick Slants.".

Her Focus is Fantasy Football.

For over five years, Adams has been a constant YouTube presence in the fantasy football community.

The earliest evidence of her fantasy escapades is her six-year old fantasy recaps on her personal channel, which she quickly disregarded.

She also appears for another company was in 2013, in the above fantasy recap for DraftDayMedia.

She's also worked with FanDuel and other fantasy outlets in the past to provide expertise.

She Says Some Men Have Been 'Intimidated' By Her Football Knowledge.

In 2012, Adams appeared on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.

During the interview, Ferguson asked Adams if she gets any flak for her looks in the male-dominated sports world.

"It's not easy, it's not the easiest thing, but I deal with it," Adams told the host, shrugging off the question.

When Ferguson pressed about how men act around her in the football world, Adams used the words "intimated" and "insecure.".

Ferguson asked about Adams' dating life, where she said that she was single but could find it hard dating someone with football knowledge.

"I think it takes a very special person to, you know, support someone who knows more than they do.

" Adams replied with a smile.

She Thinks Condiments Are Gross & Bacon Smells Bad.

Adams appeared on the Garbage Time Podcast with Katie Nolan in 2016, where she dished on the upcoming NFL season.

But she also let loose with some personal facts, including her picky eating habits.

For starters, Adams hates condiments.

Ketchup has acceptable moments, but she was disgusted when Nolan asked her to choose either Blue Cheese or Ranch dressing for her chicken wings.

When Nolan asked what she ate with her wings, Adams confessed that she has, in fact, never had chicken wings.

To Nolan's outrage, Adams defiantly declared that bacon smells bad.

She clarified that it's not just chicken wings, but the bone-in aspect of the dish that peeves her.

That means no wings, and no ribs.

"I'll eat chicken, a burger.

I can eat more pizza than anybody," Adams said defensively.

Watch the full video to see Nolan roast her guest for her bacon hate.

Do You Need to Eat After Lifting Weights to Gain Muscle? - Duration: 3:11.

what's up fambam and welcome back to another video okay so quick background

following resistance training which is either strength training with weights

body weight training training with bands anything that's putting resistance

against your muscles and a protein is used to rebuild contractile proteins in

your muscle fibers which results in bigger and stronger muscles over time

there's a big debate on how long this process goes on for at a highly

efficient and elevated rate before that window of opportunity closes and

anything you can O consume eat or drink after that period results in less muscle

gains and less muscle repairing if you've ever heard the advice that you

need to eat you know a meal or drink a protein shake within 30 minutes of

ending your exercise and you've wanted to know whether that's actually the case

or not then this is a video for you so what's the answer well the science is

murky at best in 2014 Van Loon conducted a review of

studies in this topic and concluded that consuming protein early in the

post-exercise recovery phase resulted in increased rate of muscle protein

synthesis promoting muscle repair and increased muscle adaptation to prolonged

exercise however a study by Schoenfeld in 2017 found no difference in muscle

mass size or strength after pre-workout or post-workout protein consumption

these contradictory conclusions are likely because the elevated window of

muscle protein synthesis has been shown to in fact be much longer than just post

exercise some people speculate that it even goes past 24 hours after you end

your resistance training and it also depends heavily on the type of training

as well as the intensity training at an intense level to where you are

completely depleted afterward I can see how consuming some sort of protein and

carb directly after training would be advantageous to muscle growth and repair

especially if you trained on an empty stomach it makes sense that that protein

shake or meal would be utilized to a greater degree then you know if

consumed at say five hours later however for the average person who trains at

moderate intensity for a shorter time period more important than the post

exercise anabolic window is the fact that your rate of muscle protein

synthesis is elevated for 24 hours after you stop exercising meaning that the

food choices you make during that 24 hour period after as well as how you

distribute your protein among your meals is far more important and that is why my

next video is going to be discussing why protein distribution throughout the day

matters so if you guys like this video go ahead and give it a big thumbs up and

subscribe to my channel and I'll see you in the next video peace

My World Scout Jamboree Journey 08 - Where Are You From - Poppy Presents - Duration: 1:25.

Hi. Welcome back to my Jamboree Vlogs. so my valentine's raffle went really well

and I sold all my tickets and I've raised about sixty pound off that and

also my abseil fundraisings going really well - I'm almost halfway. But I had an

idea which I thought was really cool about finding more out about where the

different units are and like I'm really interested in that because of the way like

how I'm 30 and like there's 33. I don't know I just find that

really cool. So me and my dad have like made this online map where you can add

in like the Unit, the Name, stuff like that. So if you'd like to get involved

in that please could you, in the comments down below, leave the Unit

Number, like if you're 40 or something like that. Your Unit Name if you have one

and then which country you're from and the town or city that's closest to

it so we can like locate it on the map like nearby to where it is and then like

any other information that you think I should add in too, like about where your unit

is because I think it's just a really cool thing to find out where it's from

So the link for that map will be in the description down below.

So thanks for watching and if you enjoyed this video please remember to

like and subscribe and join me next time when I'll be back with more Jamboree vlogs
