Waching daily Feb 4 2018

Are you looking up your content creation game? Or are you looking to create more

videos using the processing power of your phone? Well in this video I'm going

to cover the five best video editing apps. Before we get started, if you

stumbled across this channel and you've not yet subscribed, go ahead and hit that

subscribe button. For some extra appreciation hit the bell icon. I release

videos like this one weekly to help entrepreneurs businesses and individuals

just like self get online with video. Right let's get started. The first app

we're going to look at is called Videoshop. Videoshop has a very user-friendly

interface, you can import clips or record new clip, add text, and voice. The trim

feature allows you to trim, cut out sections, and even split the video. Sound

will allow you to add music from your phone and sound effects and pre-loaded

tracks with the ability to buy additional tracks if you like. You can

adjust the speed for slow motion or speed up a clip with Tranx, you can

adjust the transitions between Clips. There are 18 transitions to choose from

you can change your background color this is the color and you'll see behind

the clip other features include flip the screen

resize clip, rotate clip, dub the sound, copy the clip, and reverse them some more

amazing features of Videoshop are the Ken Burns effect. You can also adjust

the display settings like a pro. You also have two modes of tilt shift to help you

obtain the blurred background. In the settings pane, adjust the video

orientation between landscape, portrait and square video firstly I use Videoshop a

lot to create content for Instagram and snapchat the next step is

called PocketVideo if you're creating video for Youtube, Instagram, Snapchat

creating a Youtube reaction video, or for any other platform, then this is truly a

great app. Let's talk about text. Adding banners dynamic text means captions chat

bubbles and simple text. You can add stickers, you can add GIFs from Giffy

you can change the speed of the animation. You can also decide whether to

where to start in the clip you can change the layer order Photosticker

will allow you to pictures of your camera roll, resize them

and place them exactly where you want at the exact points Videosticker does the

same thing with the eligibility to add green screen video. You can pull video from

your camera direct report from your camera roll or from YouTube. Moving on

to sketch this allows you to draw over the video this is very similar to that

of desktop software. Sketch allows you to draw over the video and if you'd like

you can add text over it. Other features in Pocketvideo include

voiceover, filters similar to that of Instagram, trim, splits, speed, resize

transition, and volume. This app is free try it out you will not be disappointed.

The next step we're going to look at it's called iMovie. This is a must app to

hand in your video toolbox. Once you've added a clip you can have picture of

picture you can add picture overlays on top of the clip. Precise cutting with

this app frame by frame iMovie doesn't allow for portrait of or

square video at the moment. If you're creating videos for YouTube, then this is

a very good app to start with. The next two apps we're gonna look at have very similar features to that of a desktop PC.

Kinemaster is available on iPhone and Android as well there's no doubt this is taking your

video editing to new heights with layering effects you can add movie clips

effects especially thanks there's text stickers and handwriting now this app

you can do everything to remove the watermark however you'll need to pay

£4.99 a month or £39.99 a year that will allows it have let extra clips

royalty-free effects at your disposal. The next step with a look at is called

Luma Fusion. This app is truly amazing, if you want similar editing facilities as

that of a desktop, like Kinemaster, however is a one-time fee for this of

£19.99 similar facilities to Kinemaster but

with it our ability to produce portraits and square video.

Let me say again the level of functionality of this app is truly

amazing. When editing you have three video tracks three audio tracks, for photo

titles, graphics, additional music tracks, dozens of transition, chroma key for

green of blue screen, powerful color correction, slow motion and lots more. You

can even import the files direct from sources like Dropbox, Google Drive to

name a few Luma Fusion is has to be the best app I have used to date as I

mentioned it is this atlas of the one-off fee of £19.99. However if you

want to take your video editing to new heights and you want to use the powerful

rendering engine of the iPhone then I would highly recommend Luma Fusion

to you. You will not be disappointed because you can take your editing on the

road with you. I hope you found this video interesting and informative. If you liked

this video, consider giving it a thumbs up. Please subscribe so I can deliver

more videos like this one I deliver videos like this one weekly to help

entrepreneurs businesses and individuals just like yourself get online with

video. Thanks for watching. be we get started. the next two apps were going to look at

have video editing. ... ladies and gentlemen.

Former CIA Official Threatens Trump: "You've Been Around for 13 Months We've Been Around

Since 1908.

We're Going to Win"

Former CIA counterterrorism official Phil Mudd threatened President Trump after the

release of the House Intelligence FISA memo.

This is the same guy who called him self a "proud sh*tholer" a couple weeks ago.

Phil Mudd: The workforce is going to look and this and say, this is an attack on our

ability to conduct an investigation with integrity…

The FBI people, I'm going to tell you, "are ticked" and they're going to be saying,

I guarantee you, "You think you can push this off this?"…

You better think again, Mr. President.

You've been around for 13 months.

We've been around since 1908.

I know how this game is going to be played.

We're going

to win.

It's not the first time this guy hurled threats at the President.

Their colleague, Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, also criticized the release

of the memo, echoing that it's "dangerous.

She tweeted, "DonaldTrump's decision to declassify the partisan memo, made in cooperation

w Congressional Republicans, is a dangerous attack on our justice system and the rule

of law."

Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley of Oregon called the memo "cherry-picked classified information"

in a statement.

"This puts us in extremely dangerous territory," he said.

"It upends the relationship between the intelligence community and Congress, threatening

the ability for different branches of government to work together to protect the American people's

safety."

Tim Kaine Tweeted:

"Law enforcement opposes this," tweeted Sen. Tim Kaine, a Virginia Democrat.

"The intelligence community opposes this.

Even many Republicans oppose this.

This is dangerous territory, it disrespects law enforcement, and it's an alarming partisan

attack on efforts to investigate hostile foreign interference in our democracy."

You Won't Believe How Many Pills Were Shipped To ONE Rural Town - Duration: 6:52.

THE OPIOID CRISIS CONTINUES TO DESTROY LIVES AND FAMILIES

THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND NEW DATA INDICATES THAT THERE

ARE CERTAIN COMPANIES THAT ARE GUILTY OF SPREADING OPIOIDS AND

SPECIFIC PARTS OF THE COUNTRY WHERE ADDICTION HAS BEEN

THE WORST, SO WEST VIRGINIA IS AN EXAMPLE OF THAT AND HERE

IS THE DATA THAT WE JUST LEARNED FROM A REPORTER FROM THE

CHARLESTON GAZETTE MAIL.

HIS NAME IS ERIC ERIE AND HE FINDS:

NO, THOSE DRUG COMPANIES PROBABLY THOUGHT THOSE 2900

PEOPLE ARE IN A LOT OF PAIN AND THEY ARE REALLY GOING TO NEED

THIS SO THE REASON WHY THAT IS A GREAT PIECE OF REPORTING BY THE

CHARLESTON GAZETTE MAIL AND IT GIVES YOU CONTEXT INTO HOW

MUCH THE COMPANY'S NEW.

THEY KNEW THAT IT WASN'T GOING FOR THIS 2900 PEOPLE.

THEY KNEW THEY WERE RUNNING PILL MILLS AND THEY KNEW IT WAS

FOR ILLEGAL DISTRIBUTION OF THOSE DRUGS.

THEY ALSO KNOW THAT IT IS A GATEWAY DRUG.

NOT MARIJUANA, THAT WAS A LIE ALL ALONG.

THIS IS ACTUAL GATEWAY DRUG.

THERE ARE A LOT OF DIFFERENT PLAYERS IN THE OPIOID CRISIS.

A COURSE OR ARE THERE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES

THAT ENCOURAGE LOVER PRESCRIPTION OF THESE

OPIOIDS, BUT THEN THERE ARE THE DRUG WHOLESALERS THAT

ESSENTIALLY SHIP OUT THESE PAINKILLERS TO VARIOUS

PHARMACIES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY.

THE WHOLESALERS THAT WERE GUILTY OF SENDING OR SHIPPING THE

SUPERFLUOUS AMOUNTS OF DRUGS TO WEST VIRGINIA WERE MIAMI

LUKEN AND H.D.

SMITH.

IF YOU WANT TO TAKE A LOOK AT HOW MUCH OF AN IMPACT THIS IS

HAVE, IF YOU LOOK AT WEST VIRGINIA AS A WHOLE, FOR

EXAMPLE:

YOU SEE THE DISPARITY THERE.

RELATIVELY SMALL POPULATION, A HUGE FLOW OF DRUGS

INTO THE STATE.

TO JUXTAPOSE THAT AGAINST DEATH BY A CAR ACCIDENT, THEY WERE

15 PER 1000 PEOPLE.

I WANT TO DIVE INTO THAT.

HOMICIDE FOR 5.9.

IF YOU PUT HOMICIDES IN CAR ACCIDENTS TOGETHER" YOU'RE

NOWHERE NEAR THE PEOPLE DYING FROM OPIOID OVERDOSE.

THEY PICK WEST VIRGINIA TO FUNNEL THESE DRUGS IN.

THEY KNOW THE PEOPLE IN WEST VIRGINIA ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE

780 MILLION PILLS, THEY DO THAT BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT IS A

DISTRIBUTION CENTER FOR ILLEGAL PEDDLING OF THOSE DRUGS.

THERE IS NO WAY THOSE DRUG COMPANIES, LOOK AT THEIR

INTERNAL NUMBERS AGO THAT MAKE SENSE AND I BET THE PEOPLE

OF WEST VIRGINIA DO MAY NEED THAT MANY PAINKILLERS.

THEY KNOW EXACT WHAT IS GOING ON AND SINCE WEST VIRGINIA IS

A HUB OF THAT, IF YOU ARE THE HUB IT HITS YOU THE

HARDEST BECAUSE IT IS EVERYWHERE.

THOSE ARE STUNNING NUMBERS.

TO GET BEYOND CAR CRASHES FOR CAUSE OF DEATH IS MASSIVE

AND NOW THEY ARE ABOUT THREE TIMES THE SIZE OF CAR

CRASHES IS OPIOID DEATHS IN WEST VIRGINIA.

EXACTLY.

BY THE WAY, THOSE WITH THE NUMBERS FOR 2016.

THE NUMBERS FOR 2017 ARE NOT LOOKING GOOD.

IT'S NOT JUST WEST VIRGINIA, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE

COUNTRY AS A WHOLE.

IT'S NOT JUST WEST VIRGINIA THAT IS SUFFERING, THERE ARE OTHER

AREAS OF THE COUNTRY THAT ARE SUFFERING FROM OPIOID ADDICTION

WHICH BY THE WAY, LATER, BECAUSE OF STRICTER REGULATIONS TURNS

INTO HEROIN ADDICTION BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SO BADLY ADDICTED

THAT THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO HELP WITH THAT ADDICTION.

WHAT I MEAN BY THAT IS THE WITHDRAWS ARE DEVASTATING.

I WANT TO BE CLEAR ABOUT THE LAST COUPLE OF THINGS HERE.

THE BASIS FOR OPIOID MEDICINE, IT SOUNDS LIKE OPIOID IS

PERSPECTIVES IN PAINKILLERS LEGAL, IT MUST BE OKAY.

NO, THE BASIS IS OPIUM, THE SAME THING THAT GOES INTO HEROIN AND

OPIUM.

JUST AS DANGEROUS AS THOUGH ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE THESE DRUGS,

WE JUST MET MADE THEM LEGAL UNLIKE CORPORATIONS MAKE A

GAZILLION DOLLARS A PROFIT OFF OF THEM AND THEN INSTEAD OF DRUG

DEALERS, THEY DRESS UP IN TIES AND SUITS AND THEY PEDAL ALL OF

THIS BUT IS DRUG DEALING AND IT DOES GET PEOPLE ADDICTED AND WAY

MORE ADDICTED THAN MARIJUANA, NOT EVEN CLOSE AND NUMBER

OF DEATHS FROM MARIJUANA AND THAT SAME TIME PERIOD,

2017 WAS THE ROAD.

NUMBER OF DEATHS FROM OPIOIDS IS 67,000.

THERE ARE SO MANY DEATHS FROM OPIOIDS IN THE COUNTRY THAT FOR

THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE 1960S OUR LIFE EXPECTANCY OVERALL FOR

THE WHOLE COUNTRY HAS GONE DOWN THE LAST TWO YEARS ON THAT

ALONE.

THAT IS AMAZING.

BUT LUCKILY, WE HAVE AN ATTORNEY GENERAL THAT IS

HYPER FOCUSED ON PAINKILLERS AND GOING AFTER THESE

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES AS OPPOSED TO YOU KNOW, STATES

THAT OF LEGALIZED MARIJUANA FOR RECREATIONAL USE.

ALL RIGHT, WE DO NOT HAVE THAT.

WE HAVE AN ASS CLOWN.

JEFF SESSIONS IS GOING AFTER MARIJUANA BUT WORSE THAN

THAT, DONALD TRUMP DECLARED INNOCENT NATIONAL EMERGENCY

AND THEN PROCEEDED TO NOT ONLY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT, BUT

HAS NOW GUTTED AN EXECUTIVE BRANCH PROGRAM DESIGNED TO

COMBAT OPIOID ABUSE, CUT FUNDING FOR BY 95%.

THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU.

WEST VIRGINIA VOTED FOR TRUMP MORE THAN I BELIEVE ANY

OTHER STATE IN THE COUNTRY AND NOW, HE IS JUST LAUGHING AT YOU.

What is the least likely thing that ever happened to you - DragoNate Reading Your Answers - Duration: 4:12.

hello friends I'm dragonate and welcome to another question vlog video thing so

last week Bolobi asked us of what is the least likely thing that ever happened to

you now I assume that this means that has actually happened not that not not

necessarily at least likely thing that ever would happen to you but least

likely thing that ever actually happened to you

so but that is okay some people I think misunderstood that that's okay we're not

gonna worry about that now before we get into reading your answers your question

for this week I am going to answer because I don't think I've actually come

up with a question in quite a while so I have one question for you guys my

question for you is how is your life different today than it was one year ago

let me know in the comments down below and I'll read your answers in next

week's video what's the least likely thing that ever happened to you let's

get into reading your answers for this week

Omar says me getting seven foot seven foot tall he wants to be really really

tall I know that fake Michael Jackson says properly meeting Michael Jackson

that's the least thing that happens to me well you never know one day you may

get to meet him apparently there's some hologram thing technology that's coming

out where we can talk to people who are dead which is actually kind of creepy if

you think about it someone else I I saw a little story about that or news

headline or something and so whoever they asked I think was on reddit and and

the person that was asked about that said that it's it's a demonic thing and

it's it's terrible Tialisa Chapman says winning a bet lol kid I don't even root

for teams anymore when I do they always lose well I need to ask you have you

ever rooted for a team and they've actually won

Cirrus Coelum answer is one word luck Bolobi left a bit of a Bible for us to

read though what is the probability of you responding to my screenshot and on

the same day commenting a fan art by an amazing girl I guess it's pretty low but

what is the probability of me adding you to my friends list and the amazing girl

to follow you on YouTube I'm sure it's even lower and now what's the

probability of me having the amazing girl as a girlfriend thanks to you one

year later it doesn't show the rest of that one year after

maybe insanely low but I'm glad that I've been lucky for once wise wizard

says me shooting a gun at a wall and I think I know the situation that you're

alluding to there and I'm so glad things turned out well funny fluffy says I

don't really know what to answer for next to his question but I got a

question well we're going to leave that because I'm and I'm asking a question

this week next week we'll do funny Fluffy's question and you guys will just

have to wait and see my mom said I guess I would have to say when I found out I

was pregnant because I was told I would never be able to get pregnant and God

blessed me with you Nathan and those ice crystals were amazing we have to go see

them again soon don't worry we will I hope anyway and croco says you know that

moment went out of 30 questions on the test you pick one you don't know yeah

that except it's not least likely but common for me and that is actually all

of your guys answers for this week so thank you all so much for sharing my own

answer to that question would probably have to be honestly getting a job

teaching something that I love to do getting a job teaching parkour coaching

parkour I should say especially considering some little minor

things in the process of getting those jobs that would go it's too much detail

to go into right now but there's some little minor things that when I think

back to it it's like how did this actually work that and also probably the

the computer that I got because it's not every day that you find someone selling

a $2,000 computer and agreeing to sell you it for $700 so there you go I have

two answers this time sorry so that wraps up for this week thank you all

again for sharing I appreciate it don't forget your question for next week how

is your life different today than it was one year ago it's now 2018 a lot of

things have changed since 2017 we'll get into that I'll get into that for myself

of course the next week's video but I'll leave your answer to the comments below

and I will read them next week I think that's about all I need to say I can't

think of anything else so thank you all for watching I hope you enjoyed and I

hope you have a wonderful Sunday and a wonderful rest of your week have a great

one Godbless

Why does he always have to look so good I don't understand it's not fair

It really is

Beba: Agree Eli: Haven't we seen her on another video? She looks familiar

I want to marry him~ (One can only dream)

Why can't I? (That's life girl get over it)

Eli: Beba, haven't we seen her on another video Beba: I know right

If anyone knows who is she please let us know

Beba: I feel like I''ve seen her Eli: Me too

I feel like I've seen her on another video with a very profound story line

He looks so handsome

Maybe it wasn't him

Maybe it's her and the other guy

You think so?

Who knows

Eli: She's there Beba: Yeah

He looks so good with that outfit too god

Eli: I can't Beba: He looks like a bad boy but at the same time he doesn't

You think so? for me he always looks sweet

Except in Lac troi

He looked out of it

Beba: He did but it was his character for the video Eli: I know, but aside from that he always looks sweet

Eli: I like his lips I think his lips give him... Beba: They look cute

They make him look like

How should I say it? Like innocent in a way

You might be right and it was them in the photos

Yeah I think so

I really like this song

Me too and the video

Eli: No! Beba: He's going to rip the pictures

He is x2

No! She's crying

You see! I told you he was going to do that

No~

It's something I would do "you look bad let me cut you off the picture"

Just kidding

He does look a bit like

He has gone mad

Beba: Well Eli: But he looks hot

At the same time

I like it

Is almost over

It has like

Behind the scenes x2

Beba: He's cute Eli: He is

The way he runs x2

He's like "enough I'm tired"

I don't know how... I mean she has to be a good actress because I would have fainted

For real

That's her job you can't go there and be all like

Exactly I can't they wouldn't even hire me

Look x2

So cute

But seriously you have to contain yourself

Even if you melted inside you have to hide it

I don't know how I would be able to do that

He looks too adorable

Beba: Does he appear on any shows because I will watch it Eli: I know right

I wonder if they have

Not reality show but variety

Sigh* whatever I can't say it sorry but I will leave it in the subs

But that if they have those shows in Vietnam

We would love to see his personality

Eli: He's really cute Beba: He really is he looks playful too

So if there are any, lets know in the comments

Beba: Leave some links Eli: Please do

But back to the main topic I loved the song

I haven't had listen to this one yet

So I don't have this one on my playlist yet but

I loved it

Beba: Me too Eli: And the video too

I really liked the beat towards the end it was really calming you knew it was almost ending

I felt like it was like that and I liked it

Eli: Why does always the ove stories on his videos end up bad Beba: I know

Lac troi

The one where he was trying to make the perfect woman

That one too

Eli: This one Beba: This one too

I mean the one for the fans didn't end up bad

Eli: Well Beba: It was for the fans Eli: Yes, exactly

But aside from that all of the love stories have end up bad

They have I hope that when they hire me it will be a good love story

And we could

Live happily ever after

But yeah we loved the song and the video thank you so much for those who requested this song

If you liked this video don't forget to like, comment, subscribe

And~

We'll see you in our next one bye~ 💚

How to do the Splits, WHAT YOU NEED: #4 Introduction to the best flexibility exercises - Duration: 4:26.

do you want to know the key to functional practical flexibility well

it's this you've got to get strong at your maximum range of motion what you

will need let's talk a bit about what you're going to need to complete this

program number one time each session runs for roughly about 25 to 35 minutes

and you're going to need to make or find at least that much time three times a

week for 10 weeks now I've been really careful to design the program to make

the most efficient use of our time because the time is precious and I don't

waste your time or mine so for that reason I haven't included any bulk or

any filler to drag things out every part of every video is important

number two patience and discipline we're pretty much changing our bodies all the

way down at a microscopic level I mean we'll be physically tearing our muscle

cells through thousands of reps to make them stronger at their maximum range of

motion and for our bodies, that process takes time. but for us, for you, for the

you that is more than your body, that's going to take patience and discipline.

And there are so many videos out there claiming to show you how to hit

full side splits in ten or twenty minutes but I personally completely doubt

those claims and I'll make it clear here that there is there's no way

you will EVER go from average flexibility say 120 degrees to strong

180 degrees full-size puts in in even 10 or 20 full sessions let alone 10 or 20

minutes so so yeah I'll just say it again

you will need time patience and discipline to get strong side splits

number three some basic gear now I know in the previous video I said you don't

need any fancy gear and almost no equipment but it can be nice and I'm

saying nice not necessary to have the following firstly comfortable clothes

for me I want clothes that I'm not just comfortable wearing in normal training

but clothes that are comfortable for me when I'm stretched out at 180 degrees

and secondly comfortable shoes. and this is a personal preference me because I

find shoes really help reduce friction and help support my heels and that just

means I don't have to waste time you know, working through a bunch of

uncomfortable positions I can just get straight into the exercise. and finally,

solid jigsaw mats. I do not recommend yoga mats. They're just too they're too

soft and they don't hold their shape when I dragged my heels and knees all

over them. I've already torn a few mats already, a few yoga mats that is, so now I

just use these solid jigsaw mats and I find them soft enough to reduce the pain

of rubbing bone or joints against a solid floor a hard floor and firm enough

to hold their shape under all of these exercises.

number four: space. so obviously I could have shot this entire program at a gym

or a studio but I purposefully shot everything here in my tiny little office

just to show you how little space you need to complete the program and get

strong side splits and just to show you objectively: the jigsaw mats that I stretch

on are exactly one meter by one meter so you can see that the most space I really

ever use, even though I've got three mats, is maybe 2.5 meters by one meter. and I

really hope you find that encouraging as you complete the program. right so I hope

I've made it really clear that you don't need much tangible stuff to start and

complete this program. it's the intangible, like patience and discipline,

that are really key. and with all the previous introduction videos we've now

talked about who, what, where, when and why. So in the next video we'll talk about

HOW, specifically the actual Ten Thousand Method principles. okay I'll see you then :)

make sure you subscribe if you got anything useful out of this video, or if

you're looking forward to the next video, because there's a growing library of

progressive training videos here on the ten thousand method channel to help you

with your training goals

Non Diet Approach to Eating and Weight Loss - Duration: 2:23.

There is a new approach to weight loss that actually doesn't involve fad diets.

Here is what the non-diet approach entails: 1.

The focus isn't so much on losing weight but on being healthy in general.

The idea is that if you have a healthy lifestyle, it will be inevitable

2.

There is a big focus on having a healthy relationship with food instead of fearing food or seeing

it as the enemy.

3.

Unlike diets, the non-diet approach doesn't have a timeframe.

Instead, it's a lifestyle change that is constantly changing and adapting with you.

Because of this, it becomes something that is sustainable.

4.

You don't count calories.

Instead, you focus on being more in tune with how your body feels so that you are able to

give it what it needs.

5.

You don't diet.

That means that you don't restrict or deprive yourself.

Instead you are able to enjoy certain foods such as starches in lesser portions from time

to time.

Even dessert is acceptable from time to time.

6.

The focus is on eating quality foods as opposed to the quantity.

7.

Protein and fiber are included in meals and snacks because they help quell hunger and

ensure that you feel satisfied.

8.

You accept your body as is as opposed to obsessing about being thinner.

9.

You start trusting in yourself to take care of your body the way you need to, regardless

of the past.

10.

You have a high self-esteem no matter what.

The idea behind the non-diet approach is that by having positive and healthy attitudes towards

food and your body, you are able to be healthy.

While weight loss can be a by-product it isn't the end all for this approach.

That's because the idea is that weight loss isn't necessary for happiness.

After all, true happiness can only com from within.

I'll soon be launching my Mindfulness for weight release program that consists of these

same mindsets.

If you haven't done so, be sure to subscribe to my newsletter and select your interests

by going to Sashacarrion.com so the moment it's ready I can let you know.

4 TRICKS: How to Learn and Improve English FAST! |快速提高英语学习的4个秘密 - Duration: 3:34.

hey this is Rain. Today I will share with you 4 tricks how I learned and

improved my English FAST!

NO. 1 watch TV shows, movies or videos that you

really enjoy. This is perfect for those who are shy to speak to others, may not

have the English speakers to practice with or good to learn English at the

beginning on their own

if you don't understand, please don't feel embarrassed to watch something

easier. I love watching movies for kids because they speak slower and the word

choice are easier for me to understand. remember! learning is the number one

priority. you don't need to compete with others. if you don't even know how to

walk, how can you learn to swim.

the good way to sound like a native speaker is to

imitate the pronunciation, intonation and tone of a native speaker. as

a result you could start from something that is easier for you to understand and

go from there

NO. 2 Networking, making friends with people who speak English.

language

environment is important. just like how we learn our first language. you did not

go to school when you were a baby. just learn from your families or peoples

around you. by doing so, you could volunteer, work or go to events in the

community. try to practice as much as you can and correct the mistakes you have

while you are speaking, you don't need to pay too much attention on grammars or

mistakes, because it will stop you from getting fluent. if you are living in an

English-speaking country, try to get involved in a community since you should

not only just learning the language but also the culture

No. 3, build your own vocabulary. try to read newspapers, books that you

enjoy. when you read, you can use mobile apps or websites to build up your own list

there are many ways to learn new vocabulary, but you need to find the most

suitable way for you. don't just taking down the words, but also use it as much

as possible. if not, you just writing it down but never know how to use it

No. 4 have fun, when you learn something. you should always enjoy doing it. don't

take it as a school subject. use it and play with it. once you start to enjoy, it

will not as hard as you thought

15 Lies You Were Told As A Kid - Duration: 8:11.

● Being a kid can suck pretty hard sometimes.

No one listens to you and everything they tell you is a lie to protect your tiny mind

from the real world.

Is Santa Claus even real?

What other false information was fed to us?

Here are the lies you were told as a kid.

15 - The crust is the healthiest part of the bread

● Many a parent has told their child to finish all of their sandwich, saying that

the crust is where the nutrients are, or even weirder, that it'll make your hair grow

curly.

The reality is more complicated.

The crusts contain a much higher concentration of a supposedly cancer-preventing antioxidant

called pronyl-lysine.

However, the Maillard reaction that browns the crust also produces a cancer-causing compound

called acrylamide.

So basically, we have no idea.

14 - The oxygen we breathe comes from the trees

● We all remember science classes which showed a picture of a tree taking in carbon

dioxide and releasing sweet, breathable oxygen into the atmosphere.

Now while this model is accurate, it is misleading to think of forests as being the Earth's

lungs.

Recent studies have shown that around 70% of oxygen we breathe comes from organisms

in the sea, such as the microscopic phytoplankton.

Perhaps if we'd all learned this, we wouldn't be screwing up the oceans so badly.

13 - Romans used to throw up so they could eat more

● In history classes, students are still taught about the huge, extravagant banquets

held by Roman citizens, where feasters would go next door to the vomitorium to throw up

and make room for more food.

This myth likely came about from rumours put down by Roman writers about the wastefulness

and greed of the Emperors and also from a misunderstanding of the word 'Vomitorium',

which was actually the word for an entrance stairway.

12 - Diamonds are made when coal gets crushed ● Diamonds are formed underground when carbon

is subjected to intense heat and pressure, that forces the molecules into a specific

formation of carbon, called an allotrope.

Coal is mostly carbon, so diamonds can come from squeezing coal right?

Unfortunately not, as coal is not just another allotrope of carbon, it contains lots of other

stuff from dead animals and plants, which makes for pretty crappy jewels.

Diamonds come from much deeper inside the planet.

11 - If you swallow seeds, a tree will grow inside you

● Perhaps the most terrifying warning given to us as kids was not to swallow the seeds

of a watermelon or apple, unless a tree grew in our stomach and ripped its way out of our

body in a gruesome mess of blood and bark.

You may not be surprised to hear that this is false, and in fact, some seeds contain

a lot of nutrients, especially when they have started to sprout.

10 - The shape of an atom ● The model of an atom with a nucleus in

the middle and some electrons orbiting around it is the same model developed by Danish physicist

Neils Bohr over 100 years ago.

This image is just the best way to teach atomic physics to schoolkids, but it's not the

same model that modern physicists use.

Electrons do not orbit the nucleus, instead they exist somewhere around the centre, not

as a particle, but as a wave of probability.

Yeah, we don't get it either.

9 - How a plane flies ● Every curious student and nervous passenger

has asked themselves how a plane flies.

In school we're taught the Bernoulli principle, where the shape of the wing causes air to

move faster over the curved top, and slower over the flat underside, so it can arrive

at back end of the wing at the same time, as if air has to stay together.

This effect is largely nonsense, and doesn't take turbulence into account.

It's much more about the angle of the wing than it is the shape.

8 - If you stand up to bullies, they'll leave you alone

● As kids, we were given some pretty strange advice regarding bullying such as 'just

stand up to them and they'll stop picking on you' - this wonderful Hollywood idea

that one moment of brave defiance will put them off for life.

This puts the responsibility for stopping the bullying onto the victim, and suggests

that it's their fault for being so timid.

While it may work in some cases, it's not a great piece of advice to feed to confused

youngsters who may not know an appropriate defense.

7 - Black holes suck everything up ● Black holes are the result of a star collapsing

and forming a singularity with incredible amounts of matter condensed into a tiny space.

Many of us imagine black holes to be powerful cosmic vacuum cleaners that go around sucking

up everything, but actually, their gravitational pull from a distance is the same as the star

it came from, plus any matter it absorbs.

If you replaced our sun with a medium-sized black hole, the planets would continue to

orbit around it in the same way.

6 - You can kill someone by dropping a penny ● You may have heard the idea that if you

threw a penny off the Empire State Building, it would reach such a high speed that the

coin would shoot through the head of any unlucky New Yorker at the bottom, like a money-bullet.

This myth ignores many fundamental facts of physics, mainly that the air resistance on

a flat coin only weighing a few grams would mean its terminal velocity is too slow to

give you anything more than an annoying tap on the head.

5 - Fatty food is what makes you fat ● One of the most unfortunate quirks of

the English language is that the word 'fat', meaning a little bit chubby, is the same as

the word 'fat', an essential nutrient to almost all forms of life.

Fats and oils, known as lipids, are necessary for your health, and give you nice skin and

hair.

Of course too much of it isn't great, but sugar is far more to blame for obesity than

lipids.

Sugar causes your body to store fat, rather than use it.

4 - Don't talk to strangers ● Your mother may have told you never to

talk to strangers, but this advice may be doing more harm than good, both to the individual

and to society as a whole.

The threat of child abduction by strangers is statistically very low, and by giving kids

this advice, we make them afraid of everyone and stop them from learning how to rely on

their instincts.

They need to learn what kind of strangers are trustworthy themselves.

3 - If you work hard, you'll succeed ● Perhaps the biggest lie of all, the idea

that success is just a matter of getting your head down and working hard, and one day you'll

reach the top.

In reality, for every story of a millionaire who started with nothing, there are hundreds

of others who came from privileged families in nice neighbourhoods and knew the right

people.

Working hard is one thing, but good luck and wealthy parents seems much more effective.

2 - You

swallow spiders in your sleep ● In one year, the average person swallows

eight spiders in their sleep.

Or they would if they were a sleepwalker who dreamed about eating spiders.

This commonly-quoted lie was supposedly fabricated by a journalist who was proving a point about

how urban myths spread so quickly.

Just think about it.

Why would a spider crawl into the hot, fleshy mouth of a large mammal, unless you store

a bunch of flies under your tongue?

1 - You catch a cold from being cold ● "Put on a coat before you go outside,

you don't wanna catch a cold!"

I'm sure you've heard it before, and it's great advice for avoiding pneumonia or hypothermia

, but it has almost nothing to do with the cold virus.

In fact, the reason people catch colds more often in the winter is that they spend more

time cooped up in warm rooms, breathing other people's air, and often have less access

to fresh fruit and vegetables.

I mean really, who names these things?

"Angels and Heroes" - A Spoken Word Poem - Duration: 3:01.

What if I told you that angels exist?

That they fly through this world helping people, guarding them from the evils of this realm

or simply guiding them through life's trials and tribulations?

Would you believe me?

Would you search for haloes under the hats of everyone you pass?

Peeking under jackets to see if there were wings beneath overcoats?

Or checking closets to find flaming swords or staffs made of gold?

Would you treat people differently on the off-chance that they had the power to save

or damn your soul?

And what if Itold you that superheroes roam this planet?

That they stalk the streets searching for injustice, protecting the innocent while punishing

the guilty?

What would you say?

Would you strain to see through collared shirts searching for S's or other symbols?

Would you check people's baskets at laundromats looking for capes or Spandex?

Well I'm here to tell you that they do.

But real angels don't have wings or haloes.

They don't have divine powers or carry flaming swords.

They disguise themselves to look just like us, working in soup kitchens, or counseling

centers, or homeless shelters.

They give of themselves freely without ever looking for a word of thanks.

They help their fellow man because it's the right thing to do, because they realize that

we're all together in this world.

And we pass heroes everyday.

They wear badges instead of capes, travel to foreign soils to protect us, they trade

in the Spandex for uniforms made for fighting fires or being shot at, or that inspire hope

and a feeling of comfort and safety.

Yes, these people exist.

The heroes are our police officers and our soldiers, our firefighters and our doctors.

They're the ones who wear safety and community on their shoulders the way that Superman wears

that S on his chest.

Angels and Heroes.

We stand in the middle of roads searching the heavens for them to fly across the sky

or leap across rooftops. But in reality, they're standing right next to us.

We don't notice them because they don't cry out for recognition.

They don't see fame or fortune.

We pass them on the street without another glance, when actually they're the ones who

truly deserve it.

So this poem is dedicated to you.

To our angels who wear haloes of dark circles under their eyes because they just spent two

weeks volunteering at a homeless shelter.

Who have wings that look like hospital scrubs, the feathers of their apparel brushing against

the wrinkled bodies of our elderly as they sit in hospice.

It's dedicated to our superheroes that wear a badge instead of an S, and trade their Spandex

for bulletproof vests.

To the heroes that soar through the sky on transport crafts that are on their way to

warzones, and wear utility belts made of oxygen so they can run into burning buildings. This

is my poem dedicated to truth.

This is my official offer of tribute.

It's me straightening out my hand and offering a solute.

It's my recognition that angels and heroes DO exist, and that they look just like you.
