- Hey everyone, it's Vesna here

and I want to talk about burnout

and what are the telltale signs and if you have them.

Burnout is due to chronic stress where it leads

to physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion.

And what happens is it means that we can't function

effectively on a personal or professional level.

It starts to really kind of change our personality

and impact our career and also have an impact

on our relationships.

These are the telltale signs.

First one is chronic fatigue or exhaustion.

This is the fatigue that's not relieved by rest.

When you've had a weekend or you've had

a good night's sleep, you're still feeling tired.

Still feeling tired on Monday morning.

This fatigue is not relieved by rest.

Insomnia is another symptom, so finding it hard

to fall asleep or waking up randomly

at like two, three a.m., very annoying.

Two common emotions I see in women

with burnout is anxiety and anger.

Anxiety at work or even at home, even on the weekends.

Just this constant anxiety in thinking

and worrying about things, but also anger.

Finding that you're more irritable or snapping

at your staff or your kids more easily than before.

Fourth one is brain fog, so not being able

to concentrate and not being able to remember things,

but also having what I call the shiny object syndrome.

You're kind of starting one thing

but you're not finishing it and then you're picking up

something else and you're starting that,

because you don't have that mental focus

and concentration available to you.

Fifth one is depression.

Depression and burnout look very similar,

but they're treated differently.

Sixth one is loss of joy.

If you're not finding the enjoyment in your work,

your career, your business, your family anymore,

then that's a telltale sign.

And the last one is feeling more negative,

feeling more cynical, kind of detaching yourself from life,

from friends, et cetera, is another telltale sign.

If two or more of these symptoms are you,

then this should be a wake up call

for you to start to assess your stress

and your physical and emotional health, as well.

Increases the risk of prostate cancer: Long-term scientific studies have found that men who were on vitamin supplements for a long time were twice more likely to develop prostate cancer than those who didn't have multivitamins.

This risk gets even enhanced if you already have a family history of prostate cancer.

Can cause plaque deposition in arteries: Too much of calcium supplementation can lead to plaque buildup in arteries.

Long-term supplementation of 400 IU/day of vitamin E has been scientifically proven to increase the risk for heart failure.

Affects The Output Of Exercise.

Exercise is one of the best ways to lower insulin sensitivity in human beings.

However, studies reveal that having a combination of vitamin C (1000 mg/day) and vitamin E (400 IU/day) hinders the reduction in insulin sensitivity that's caused by exercise.

Many newbies and weight watchers consider supplements to be an important part of their training regime but these have no impact on your endurance or performance levels.

Your Body Will Flush Out The Excess.

The body's detoxification and elimination processes are designed naturally to flush out what's not needed by it.

Vitamins B and C are removed from the body, the moment it feels there's enough.

That's the reason why your pee appears yellow when you are on these supplements.

By purchasing and consuming supplements, you are flushing money too down the drain!.

You Are Not Getting All That's Promised.

Just because a certain amount is mentioned under composition doesn't mean that your body will absorb and utilize it every single time.

Every time you take a supplement your body needs to have the right amount of water, sugar, electrolytes, and energy to absorb it.

These factors cannot be regulated by you as they are intrinsic in nature.
