Should you buy Xiaomi Redmi 4X - Duration: 3:10.

Hey guys it's Mark here and today we're gonna talk about should you buy the Redmi

4X or not and coming right up

(Music)

The Redmi 4X feels very premium and for its size itself it feels good and

the screen color and looks amazing honestly speaking and the fingerprint at

the back is very nice and very easy access the screen size itself is pretty

decent and for five inch screen is not that bad and it's kinda smudgy and slippery

without a case I would suggest you guys to get a case overall the performance of this

phone is incredibly fast and it did not disappoint me

so far the camera seems pretty good during daylight but during low-light

and it will be out of contrast overall the performance are not that bad but the

issue right now is the touch screen issue where when you start scrolling and

well it doesn't scroll as smooth and automatically open something when while

you're scrolling that is the issue that most Redmi 4X users are

experiencing overall it's pretty good phone it feels good and it actually looks

amazing for phone it's not that squarish and extra roundish but overall I do like

having this phone is actually amazing good camera wise

good speaker a good screen good overall is a whole package with a 3 gigabytes

of RAM and 32 gigabytes of storage it's actually not that bad

I heard there will be a 4 gigabytes and or maybe 64 gigabytes variant maybe

you guys can go for that if you guys prefer small screen or maybe you can

just go for the Note 4 or Redmi 5 or Redmi 5 plus which is the latest one

overall is pretty good if you guys have plan to get it all set if you guys get

it it's super fast with the MIUI 9 are actually very very amazing

everything is well optimized and not just at the screens, the split screen

amazingly useful I would love to see that on iPhones but well I don't know

when iPhone would have it overall I think that's it guys I hope you enjoyed

this video I hope this video helped you guys to make decision easier and I'll

catch you guys later bye

Why saying NO is easier than saying yes - Duration: 11:22.

Would I like to babysit your kids tomorrow night? Yes yes sure. Would I like

to take on that extra project because you're too lazy to do it at work and I'm

the only person who takes the slack up? Yes okay yes. Would I like to go to that

event with you tomorrow night to network which i really freaking hate doing? Okay

yes I'd love to. Saying no is a very very powerful response to things that don't

feel in alignment with you that you simply don't want to be doing. Why then

is it so freaking hard to say no? That's what today's episode is all about here

on my vlog where I Natalie Sisson aim to give you tips, tactics, tools and

resources to create more personal and professional every day freedom and

become a freedomist like me. Because I am passionate about this stuff. None of

us should be living lives that we don't love. None of us should be doing things

that we absolutely can't stand to do or that make us tense up inside and feel so

icky. This is different to fear and I'm going to cover that in a future vlog but

I'm talking about the stuff that just with your heart and soul you have no

desire to do but because you simply can't say the word no, which by the way

it has one less letter than the word yes so it's even easier to say. Because you

can't say that word no, you are doing all these things in your life that don't

serve you and frankly don't serve others. So how do you get past this.Well, step

one is to try it out. so practice it in the mirror. if you need to practice up

with your friend and the next time somebody makes a request of you that

simply does not light you up, turn to them and say no but thank you. Let's try

that again. Turn to them and say no thank you.

You don't even need to smile just let it rest and then watch and observe their

response. It might be "What?!" It could be "Oh, oh I see.

Are you sure?". To which you get to say,"No thank you

and yes I'm sure". Just try it out. Try it out to the next request from your

colleague, from your friend, from your mother, from your sister, from your mother

from a lover brother lover, you know one of those people.Try it out on them

because we just don't practice the art of saying no. Why do we want to practice

out of saying no? Because saying no to the things that don't serve you allow

you to say yes to the things and the opportunities that are absolutely going

to be right for you. First of all you have to create space by turning down

things that aren't in alignment with your values, that don't actually help you

to get ahead to be able to serve the people that you want to be serving in

your life or spending time with the people that you want to be spending time

with in your life. You're also allowed to say no to the things that don't allow

you to grow, that basically put more into your schedule that you don't need. That

are completely unrelated to what you love to do in life and they feel like a

guilt trip. Step two is to appreciate that you simply can't please everyone. So

if you're one of those people pleasers who says yes because you just can't

stand letting people down, you need to really dig deep and look at the actions

as to why you do this because if you're always saying yes and you think you're

pleasing people, what you're really doing is becoming a pushover. Somebody that

everybody can come to and go oh that Natalie she always says yes to anything.

I shove all my work onto her because she simply will never say no bugger off. I've

got too much work and you keep asking me to do stuff that is your responsibility.

So step back for a minute and think, are you pleasing people or are you actually

losing respect for yourself and with others because you simply cannot say no?

Which leads me on to step three you need to become more assertive. If this is a

problem in your life and you simply can't stop saying yes to everything and

as a result your life is chaotic and out of control and you're miserably unhappy

you need to be more assertive. So once again let's try it it's blue steel. No

thanks smiles. You don't need to do that if you

don't want. It takes courage it takes confidence and it takes practice. I know

of many people who are consultants and coaches and they will look at a mirror

and they'll go, "That'll be 75 five thousand dollars thanks". When

they're putting out their price. So maybe you need to stand in the mirror as I did

at the start of this vlog and go no thanks and they're not oh no I didn't mean

it actually mean yes. It's all about being more assertive and you can become

more assertive when you know what your wires, your fundamental reason for saying

yes to the opportunities that you really want to take in the first place. This

will allow you to be more assertive about saying no to the things that

completely do not need to be on your to-do list

and aren't relevant or important to you. Step 4 it's about apologizing less. I

actually have to catch myself out because I will say sorry and I know if

it's from the time when I lived in Canada but I will say sorry quite often

for something that's not even my fault. So I brushed past somebody in the

kitchen, a friend, a visitor I'll be, "Oh sorry".

Hmm that's not even something I need to apologize for. It's just you know

we brushed past each other. Or I will say something and then I'll just go sorry

and my partner started picking up and he'll be like why? And I'm like I'm not

actually sorry. He's like why'd you say it? Like I have no idea sorry. Then I'm

like no no no. So there's this cool little rule that a few people that I

know have have been using and it works really well which is if you say sorry

and you don't actually mean, it was just an impulse or something that's a

reaction on you, you say, sorry not sorry. So if you kept yourself saying it and

you go oh yeah I'm sorry not sorry. It actually gets you out of the habit of

saying of when you don't need to. So being less apologetic is a big part of

being able to say no more because you're not saying sorry for saying no. You're

simply saying no. So start recognizing when you're apologizing for things or

feeling guilty about saying no to things and just realise that it's a totally

legitimate response to a request that you don't need to agree on. Got it? Step 5

is learning to put you first more often so the reason why I think so many of us

say yes to things that we really don't want to do is that we're really really

good at giving. This is particularly important message for women because

we're really good at putting others first and so what this is saying is that

I'm not good enough to create some time and space for me so therefore I'm going

to say yes to to you cause clearly what you're doing

is more important than my own awesome life. So it's really about putting you

first and going, does this align with what I want to do? Does this make me

happier? Is this going to make my day more awesome? Is this going to make my life

better? Am I going to feel like I'm doing something really great, being a better

person as a result of saying yes to this and if no? Then it's a no thank you.

Step six is to then be happy with your decision right? So these are steps that I

need to take as well. So the minute you've said that, as I've said don't back

up and go oh wait no I probably yeah okay yeah all right I'll squeeze it in.

If you have, to just smile and walk away. You don't have to say no and then back

it up with an excuse, "I'm actually gonna be having my tonsils taken out that day

and I just I just need a little bit of time because I won't be able to

speak or". You don't need to give an excuse. No thank you is fine. You just have to be

happy with your decision and after you can go and skip and jump and hop

around and go oh I got out of doing that extra report or I got out of doing that

extra meeting that I didn't want to or I got out of this thing that I really

didn't even want to volunteer for and now I don't have to do it whoo-hoo. Now I

have space and time to do the things I want to do and love doing with the

people that I love. It's a beautiful thing. Step seven is letting go of guilt.

You do not have to feel guilty for saying no even if it's one of your best

friends will you be my bridesmaid at my wedding? Okay that's a that's a pretty

important question but you can't even say no to that. That you may want to give

a bit more of a reason for but if your friend respects you and loves you and

you legitimately do not want to do this thing that they've asked of you it

should stop there. No guilt. If this person thatrequested something of

you that you don't want to do is making you feel guilty, one they're not a good

person and two you actually have my permission to tell them to bugger off.

Unless it's a really bizarre scenario everybody should be understanding. Sure

hearing a no is disappointing. Nobody likes rejection but if it's done in a

good way and no thank you and a smile and then you are able to talk to them

after it about opportunities and things they could do instead of you being the

person that they're requesting something from you shouldn't be feeling guilty. You

can still help them without actually having to be

the person doing the thing. Are we clear? Crystal. And finally the result of the

seven steps before us is that you instantly earn more respect. Think about

a time that you have asked somebody to do something for you and they have

politely declined whether by email, to your face, over the phone your like

"Hmm that person's got their shit together" Right? Or they know their

boundaries or wow that's that's ballsy. Oh man I wish I could do more of that

How did they do that so easily? I love working with clients who have finally

said to their clients no I won't be available after 5:00 p.m. No you can't

call me at 8:00 p.m. at night. No you can't call me when I'm on holiday. It

instantly puts you at the forefront of their mind as somebody who has one, their

shit together. Two, knows their boundaries and three, won't be messed with

and that's instant kudos and respect right? And that's what you want as an

entrepreneur, as a freelancer, as the master of your career you want respect

and the only way to be able to do that is to be very clear on what you will and

won't say yes to and to stay true to your boundaries, stay true to your word

and stay true to the integrity with which you approach everything. So that is

the power of saying no. I hope you practice it. In the comments below please

please please tell me if you tried this out this week and what the result was

and also any feelings that came up for you. Was it fear? Was it guilt? Was it

shame? Was it oh my gosh this person won't like me anymore? And just note that

down, write it in a journal, note it in your head and next time you go to say no

I promise it'll be easier and then the third time it'll actually be delightful

and the fourth time it'll be addictive. Nnow I'm not saying you need to say no to

everything but to the things that do not feel good, that do not align with what

you want to do, that do not serve a purpose that helps you to go out and be

the best possible version of yourself. That's it I'm done with the lecture.

You are amazing, yes you are and no you don't have to go and do that thing that

you don't want to do. You have the power to say no. I'm Natalie Sisson, your fellow

freedomist. If you like this vlog please give it a

Behr Supplies Paint for the Entire Ewing Home -- Inside and Out - Duration: 1:25.

Behr paint is bringing in a huge donation.

It's going to allow us to

completely paint the home inside and out.

Everything we need to accomplish that

assignment.

I love Behr paint because

it's a really good paint because we need

to cover each paint and that's a lot of

work and Jen you picked the right paint

because the Behr premium plus the ultra

is a paint and primer in one but it's a

stain blocking primer and that's what's

required we're going something with that

that pink, that vibrant, in order to block that out and

then to get a calming color over the top

of that you've got to act like it's a

stain and block it out, so it can't bleed

through.

Do you think they're going to love our colors?

Inside?

Yeah.

Wait why did you say inside?

Inside, absolutely, absolutely.

That was so funny.

It's beautiful.

Very calming.

I'm going to win everyone about that exterior.

I think you will.

There's something I've learned about

designers.

They have the end result already in mind,

sometimes we as we look at the colors

they're picking, we'll go wow I don't know

how that works, but in the end it always does.

I've decided where I want to place my flare here, where these guides cross.

If I hover over to that specific spot, you will notice the X and Y coordinates

In the Info Panel.

Just remember these numbers: 625 and 952

Then go into Filter > Render > Lens Flare

And this is the tip I want to show you.

Hold Alt, Option on the Mac and click on the preview window

to reveal the Precise Flare Center.

You can enter the X and Y coordinates in the corresponding box.

Press Ok twice, and the Lens Flare will be applied precisely on that spot!

8 Core Marketing Analytics You MUST Know to Increase Traffic Online - Duration: 28:13.

You don't know what you don't know that statement isn't more true than ever now when it comes to increasing your website traffic and building

A successful business online you're wasting a ton of time and money

Because of these eight core things I'm about to teach you my name is Benson Tsung and today

I'm gonna be sharing with you the eight core marketing analytics that you must know in

Order to increase your website traffic and build a successful business online

At the end of this video

I'm gonna give you the exact pas matrix and frameworks that I use when I want to understand the core numbers that it takes to

Increasing website traffic online and building a successful business don't be overwhelmed by the numbers

I'm gonna be sharing with you clarity certainty and direction so you know the exact core numbers you need to know to be successful

But that's gonna be at the end of this video for now

Let me walk you through the process the key to increasing your traffic online and building a successful business

Is knowing the core metrics not to be overwhelmed by all these numbers because you can build crazy

By looking at all that stuff even for myself. I don't look at all the serve metrics

I look at just the core ones that matter and I ask myself questions like this you want to understand how much is it costing

You for your organic traffic. That's landing on your site

How much is it costing you when someone goes from a digital advertisement onto your site when you're doing digital advertising?

And how much is it costing you and why is it working is it because of the audience that you're targeting and going after is?

Because of the copy that's on your website is it because of the copy on the ad is it specifically due to the social

Platform that you're using why is it that certain traffic sources perform really well and certain traffic sources don't

we what we want to do is we want to identify that and we want to understand why that's really the most important thing we

Want to know the reason behind why certain traffic sources perform early?

well We want to understand the reason so that we can amplify

What's working?

And then reduce what isn't working and what I'm going to share with you is the metrics that's going to help us decide to determine

what sources of traffic should we amplify and what should we not do with it based on eight core variables and

eleven other numbers that all we need to know based on these things will allow us to determine the

Or success of driving more traffic to your website first thing

Let's look at is the PAS matrix that I designed so that I can gain clarity on the numbers and not be overwhelmed myself

Let's take a look at the PAS matrix if you can see on the screen the PAS matrix

You can see on the screen we focus on understanding. Why we

Always want to understand the reason of our traffic sources. Why is one performing well why is it one performing?

Well the second factor. We want to identify is who

What is the individual audience segments that the traffic source is coming from?

What is the audiences that we're targeting through organic traffic and also from the referral traffic and at the same time the digital advertising

Traffic on different social platforms the third factor that we want to identify is churn

How often does the people from this source of traffic?

bounce off our website and also drop off and at certain times

We want to make sure we're getting quality traffic not just traffic for the sake of getting the numbers up

But we want to make sure that the people that go on our website

They stay on our website, and they engage for a long time and they keep coming back

The next thing we want to look at is how much of that traffic actually converts into leads now

We're not gonna talk about leads in-depth today

But we just want to focus on looking at the traffic source and when it goes on our site

How many of those actually convert into traffic just keep that in mind and we'll focus on that in the next videos

after that we want to look at the milestone ROI once you've mapped out the traffic flow and the source of

Everything that goes on through your website when they go on your homepage

They go on your bow page or shopping page or some kind of product page

Or whatever conversion page you setup is

The traffic source that's landing on that page is it reaching that milestone that goal that you set for that traffic source

How deep are they going onto your website?

That's what milestone ROI is the next thing is the sequence

What do they buy what order in this case what pages do they land on and in what order?

What are the most frequent?

Pathways and the journeys that your target audience goes on when they land on your site

For example do they go on your homepage, and then they go on the about page, and then they go on to the contact page

Go onto the product page. What is the sequence of pages that they go on?

we want to identify this so that we can be able to narrow down and craft the right direction the right sequence of

pages that they're gonna see on our website the next thing is we want to stand understand when

When do they go on this site at what times because this is gonna be important to see your

audience's vr8 at different dates and different times

We can all identify all these numbers through google analytics the final thing is if we're using digital advertising

Even if we're doing referral traffic getting a complimentary website to promote traffic to our website one or said how much does this cost?

How much does the traffic source costing and is it worth it for us?

Now when we put together all these 8 core variables and a pas matrix

We can see and gain absolute clarity on each traffic source

That's going on our site based on these 8 things if all of these eight things are solid

We want to identify the top three sources of traffic and amplify it now the ones that don't work well for example

Let's say we don't understand the reason we don't know who it is. We don't know when they drop out

We don't know the conversion how effective it is. We don't know if they reach our milestone

We don't know the sequence we don't know when they go on the page

And we don't know how much it costs you

Have a lack of clarity on these things then it's gonna cost your business a ton of time and money

That's what these eight core things will give you clarity is because once we identify these things using Google Analytics

Or using someone on your team you can gain the absolute knowledge that you need to know in order to amplify

What's working?

And reduce what isn't working the first core metrics that we want to focus on if we want to be able to build effective traffic

For your website is looking at the new or returning visitors on your site

We want to be able to identify how many people that's new that's visiting your site, and how many are actually returning visitors

What we want to see is that we want to make sure that we're not only just getting a lot of new traffic

But want to make sure that a lot of this new traffic. There's a lot of reoccurring traffic

That's coming back meaning that for example when a hundred people visit your site

That's new traffic that first time landing on your homepage

We want to make sure when we look at Google Analytics, and I'll walk you through exactly how to do this in Google Analytics

you'll be able to see for example that 50 people came back, and they're

Coming back over and over again what we want to focus on is increasing the reoccurring and returning traffic

That's coming to the site. We want people to keep coming back and getting value on your website

We don't want to just keep increasing new traffic

And we have a very low amount that keeps coming back that shows that there's something wrong with the website

That's why this specific metric is so important for us to identify and for us to be able to increase if we can't identify

This if we don't know what we don't know then how can we expect to increase the?

Quality of the traffic's going on on our site the next core metric that we want to see is we want to see how long

They spend when they land on your website when someone goes on your website

And they go on the homepage and they land on their an average session duration of time. That's what it's called

it's basically how long are they staying on your site as a new visitor and as a

Returning visitor what you're gonna find is that returning visitors are going to be staying there for a much longer time

Because they're not first-time they don't know they're not brand new because usually new traffic that goes on your site

They're just checking you out. You know they have questions in their mind. They're thinking is this business right for me

This is the first time they find out about you, so they lack the trust within your business. They lack the knowledge

They also don't know if they like your business or not they don't know if you resonate with them together

They don't know if you guys have the same values or not

Which is why new visitors you want to be able to track the average session duration time

Meaning how long when a new person goes into your business how long do they stay on your website?

Usually it's very low and that's what we want to do is we want to increase the amount of time that someone spends on your

Website by get adding value to them answering their questions

Addressing their doubts and their objections to increase that time from let's say someone goes on your site on average is one minute

How do we make that woman in 30 seconds?

How do we make that two minutes three minutes four minutes five minutes or even 10 minutes on your site?

How can we reduce why they're leaving the site? Why are people when they go on the site bouncing off?

Why are they dropping off we want to identify the reason for that because if we don't know then we're just gonna have a lot

Of short times when people visit the site

and they leave

Immediately after a minute that means there's something wrong so that's what I want to focus on breaking down

And we can't break it down

But you what's working and what isn't working and pushing them off when we don't know the average

Session time part of the visitors for new and the returning visitors the next thing that we want to identify is the sequence of pages

between new visitors and

returning visitors so when someone goes on your site what we want to make sure is that when they go on there they don't just

Land on the homepage and they leave we want to make sure that they're going on your homepage

They go on to your bio

Slash about page to learn more about your business what you stand for what is your story about your business

How was your business founded? What is the background around your business to build our emotional connection with the target audience?

I just landed on your site

We want to make sure that when they land on the site they visit different pages because there's a lot of doubts

There's a lot of questions that your target audience has especially as a new visitor

So we want to make sure they go on the bio eval page. They go on your content blog pages

They engage with your videos your guides

Your blog posts all these different things that you've made available

To them to answer the questions to help them solve the problems that they want to solve as soon as you lay on your site

And achieve the results that they want to achieve and also at the same time

They go in your product or your service pages to learn more about how you can help them. What are your services?

What are the?

Products that you can sell to them and what make them want to buy to give them more value at the same time they go

On your community page they learn more about the people that you've helped better their lives. They go there they watch the testimonials

they read the

Testimonials you want to make sure you can see that when someone lands on your site

their journey the yellow brick road that you've mapped out to them - for them to get to eyes is very

Clear for you and at the same time for them so wanna make sure they go on one page your homepage

which is usually the most common page if you will land on first and

Then they go on multiple different pages on your website that are high value that are engaging

That add value to them and make them stay on the site

But at the same time they go through and travel the journey, and they enjoy that's the most important thing

Why we want to be able to identify the sequence of pages

Bounce rate as I mentioned before and you've heard about it

Is that it's the people that go on your site, and then they leave immediately?

So it's related to the average time and session duration of someone that goes on your site by the same time what we want to

Identify is how many people out of 100 when they land on a specific page?

That's a your homepage

Which is the most common page visited how many people leave as soon as they land on that page?

Within the first ten to fifteen seconds well you're gonna find usual websites have a very high bounce rate thirty to fifty percent that means

Out of every 100 people that go on the site thirty to fifty people leave immediately

Within ten to fifteen seconds we want to make sure that people go on the site

They're resonating with the copy the visuals the message that you have right on that page

It's exactly the right target audience and the same time once these things come in place

We should lower the bounce rate that people go on this site

Those are the factors that influence it, and we want to make sure once we identify the bounce rate

We keep lowering it over and over again 10% 20% 30%

We keep lowering that bounce rate ideally to the lowest amount and the way you do that is going to be identifying

Why are people leaving is it because of the images is because at the copy rate? That's on your site?

Headlines is it because of the visuals is it because of the target audience that you drive into the site

There's a disconnect somewhere we want to make sure that we identify

That because once we identify then we can start reducing your bounce rate

Which I'll get into a more in depth later on one of the core factors that we want to focus on to increase in website

traffic is

Understanding, what are the sources of traffic? They're landing on your website?

where are we getting the traffic from is it from search traffic from Google when someone types in your

Website or a product or service and they click on your site on the page 1 or page 2 whatever page. You're on Google

That's search traffic. The next one is is a referral traffic

Which is really one of the most important ones that we want to identify because there's people on social media. There's people

Everybody else that's connecting traffic to your website. It could be social media

It could be digital ads it could be using someone else's complimentary website. Maybe you smoke on a podcast

Maybe you smoke on a video series or maybe someone interviewed you and they're sending traffic

There's people that want to discover more about you what we want to do is we want to break down the traffic and that unidentified

The core sources of traffic and then we look at all the other core metrics that I just covered with you

Which referral source traffic is the one that's going on your site? They're staying on there there engaging with your content

They're going through multiple different pages

And they ultimately maybe even convert into a lead or even by product or service from you we want to identify

This so we can amplify. What is working and we can produce. What isn't working once

We know the sources of traffic then we can be able to amplify it is that the referral sources that's coming in from social

That's coming in from complimentary websites

We want to make sure that we know what are the ones that are doing really?

Well, then once we know that Facebook and YouTube are the two social channels

That's providing you the most quality amount of traffic. We want to figure out

Why is it that Facebook and YouTube are?

As great as they are as traffic sources is it because a specific video that you have on YouTube

What is that one core thing we want to break it down?

step by step by step once

We know the core reason why and if we identify it's one video on YouTube and then two to three posts on Facebook

That's performing. Well. We're going to focus on using that video

We're gonna put more people to it so we can drive more traffic to your site

That's quality traffic and the same thing on Facebook. We amplify those two to three posts

That's performing really well using the Facebook Ads platform to whole audiences to warm our dances

And then we focus on just driving so much more quality traffic, and we start doing less of Twitter in this example

So that's why understanding the sources of traffic is so important because once we drill down and understand

What is working really well we can do more of it, and then we can do less of what is producing the low-quality traffic

So it isn't just about having

Thousands or hundreds of thousands of visitors don't get surprised

But who will tell you that it's about the quality of the traffic you would much rather have lower amount of traffic

That's stay on the site that engage with you that visit multiple pages

Turn into a lead buy products and services from you tens of thousands 100,000 people that bounce off

They don't stay on the site for a long time they visit an average of two to three pages

And they don't convert into a lead or buy product or service from you don't use vanity metrics on how big it should be

Focus on the quality, and that's where it starts by identifying our sources of traffic

Those are the core metrics that you want to know in order to increase your website traffic online and build a successful business

now one of the biggest mistakes that I see businesses make online is they focus on the volume of traffic and

All they want is they want hundreds of thousands mil the traffic going on their site

But they don't focus on optimizing on the quality of that traffic now

Those are the ones that you want to optimize for traffic sources overall, but if we you are doing any digital advertising

There's three core metrics that you want to add on on top of this the first one you want to look at is

The click-through rate if you're running an advertisement that's driving to a Content piece

That's on your website or video using Facebook or whatever ad platform LinkedIn YouTube Twitter all

These things you're gonna be able to give you a metric called D. Click for me

it basically means the

Percentage of people that see this ad how many people are going to click through it and go on to your website

That's what I want to identify we want to make sure that that ad and there's different

variables for that the headline of your ad to copy the image or the video that using in the ad

but for now

Let's say for example you want to optimize for a high click-through rate means that you want to get the most amount of people that

See the ad find it engaging go to your website

And then we apply the four to five metrics that I just shared with you

That's the first thing to click through it the second thing is since you're paying money to get that traffic

There's gonna be cost for a click the cost per click is essentially means how much is it costing you to get one click?

That's you signing on to your website

I want to make sure that the cost per click is low I want to make sure that's a low click

We're getting a decent amount of cost per click when someone clicks on the site so we can scale your traffic

Because we don't want to be spending 5 10 dollars to get a cost per click the land on your site

Especially if it's a Content amplification campaign, which means you're basically using the highest performing pieces of content

You're running ads to it to drive more content and more visitors to your site and build up that audience

So that's one of the main thing is this cost per click the next thing that we want to focus on is we want to

Understand what is the sequence and the timeline if you go that land on the site from these sources?

I want to make sure that if someone you're spending money on advertisements the site

That's going on is they go on the site, and then they stay on the site for a long time

So what's the point for example?

Let's say you have a high click-through rate you have a low cost for a click so that means that ad is performing well

But you're finding out, then when someone goes on your site

They're leaving within the first twenty to thirty seconds

So that's bad that means that we haven't done something right

For this ad of the P people that were targeting and one of the main variables for this especially with digital advertising is your audience

Who is the audience that we are targeting and I'll get into that in a little bit one of the core variables are having

Increasing the website traffic that's going on is the audience that you are focusing on targeting through the website and also all the visitors

That's going on your site is based on your ideal audience persona that

Avatar that you created and also the same time would use digital advertising

Or when you're building out the referral traffic sources of other websites referring traffic to you you want to make sure that it's the right?

Audience, that's going on your site and at the same time once they land on your site

You want to make sure the messaging on your site the copywriting the headlines the visuals?

Match, and they resonate with your audience you want to make sure it works is combined

That's really the most important thing is the audience you'll find is the defining factor of how you're able to increase

Time on site will reduce the bounce rate increase the amount of sequence of pages that they visit and increase the engagement

Increase the conversion and the leads increase in the sales

Everything starts from the foundation of who you're targeting

So you see increasing your website traffic online and building statistical business using the traffic sources that we have

Identified it's not a complex process. It's no secret to be able to increase your traffic now

You know what you should do and you know what isn't working

Those are the most important things increasing once the traffic is all about asking yourself the critical questions

Based on the core analytics that we know about your site

And it's all

everything that you just learn is all the metrics that you need to know there isn't more metrics that you should focus on all the

Other stuff leave it to your team leave it to the data people that really want to get down into it because you can go

crazy with the analytics

But as long as you have these top-line numbers that you know about and you'd focus on improving and optimizing those things

That's what's gonna make the biggest difference in increasing your website traffic online now

Let's look at the PAS matrix and the core metrics that I just went through with you to increasing website traffic online

Applied in the real world so what we're looking at now is the new Google Analytics dashboard that they recently updated and what's interesting for?

You to see is that this is actually much closer to the PAS matrix and they built this out to match it

so you don't have to see an overwhelming amount of numbers and

Information you can do look at the core metrics that matter in your business

so this makes it even easier now and all you have to do is just install the code on Google Analytics on your website or

Even using a plug-in of using WordPress or whatever hosting platform that you're using for your website

You can actually just add Google Analytics on to your website

And you'll be able to instantly see all these metrics once you log into Google Analytics

it's

Extremely simple and easy to be able to plug and play into your business it gives you an oversight of all the different things that

We're gonna cover right now so the first thing we're gonna see on the Google Analytics is the users

This is a number of people that are visiting your site and this also that we're looking at right now the overview of this

It's a brand new website, so that's why you can see it's not hundreds of thousands or millions of visitors

It's just starting with 200 and it's growing and growing so you can see the next thing here is the sessions the sessions is essentially

Google considers a session with someone visits your site and stays on there for a certain period of time it doesn't just leave in the

First 10 15 or 20 seconds bounce rate is how you go on the site within those first 10 15 seconds

And then they just leave so you considered not really a session or a visit or it's consider a visit

But it's not a session and it's bouncing off next thing is a session duration essentially how long

Does someone stay on your site when they land on it initially so?

Essentially how many times when someone goes on the session?

divided by the number of times in total

So you can see that you want all these numbers to go up

Except for bounce rate you want bounce rate to be going down so you can see this one's up 106 percent 103 down

22% is down 10.2 percent average session duration

So that's not good what we want to do is always be increasing the duration that someone stays on the website

We want to be decreasing the bounce rate, and then we want increases session increasing users

This is just some graphs to illustrate this

Now this thing on the right is just some fancy thing to see if you want to see a real-time metrics right now

It's zero. This is a brand new website, so if you go on the bottom

You can see it tells you referral sources it tells you source medium

Where's your traffic coming from it tells you the channels of traffic it tells you look for all traffic so for example your website

Is becoming getting traffic from YouTube?

It's getting traffic from social for Facebook for Instagram

What types of posts is it coming from another website that your you spoke on or posted a blog on all these different things?

They'll show you on. How do you acquire users?

Where's your traffic coming from?

At the bottom it even tells you how your active users turning over time so what that means is daily weekly monthly

How many people are coming back going on your site?

Is it consistent as losing every single day every single week every single month?

What is the difference between every single time range on the number of users of visiting over time?

This one just basically says how well are you doing to keep the visitors on your site?

You know one of the core things. I mentioned is that when someone visits your site. There's ton of people

Let's say a hundred thousand eight visit once and then they don't come back. That is

terrible that is extremely bad that means there's something wrong with the website and

Something wrong with the messaging and we want to identify that because what we want to do is we want to have

Quality visitors quality sessions and follow the audience visiting your site, and they stay there over and over again

So this thing shows you how well are you doing to retain the site over the period of one month and a half?

But essentially week five as far as we give you a list

And it shows you using these blocks for a simple visual types of data

And the next thing you do you see when your users visit. It shows you the time range. It shows you the country now

We'll just say about the country is unless you're based in let's say a thermal country

Or you're based in Europe or some or India or whatever your based you want to make sure you ain't traffic from that specific

Place that you're based in so you can see this one's basically we're getting traffic from Canada United States

That's where we want to get traffic from what you're gonna notice

This is a key point is that sometimes you're gonna see traffic from India third world country Africa Russia Ukraine unless your base

They're your base in the US or Canada

In most cases if you're watching this video

You want to make sure the traffic is coming from these places all the travel is coming from the other sites that are in different

Countries that don't speak the same language are usually going to be spam traffic

Unless you're your topic or the audience are you going for it in those countries?

Then you can filter those out and consider those as more of spam traffic

Fake traffic all the sites right now always getting fake or some kind of pound shop you can see I'm getting something pain

Some rush or something with the area on this you website so we are gonna filter these out

The only ones that we want to focus on is Europe right Canada United States Europe, Australia

english-speaking countries that we're targeting

For this specific site and then tells you desktop

visitors versus mobile now on the left side what we can see is that there's

audiences acquisition and behavior

And what these does is you can see when you open it it breaks it down even further for you two shows you active users

Lifetime value cohort analysis, which is another fancy word that you don't even know about you

Just need to care about all the metrics that are on the screen

this is just a template version right when you sign up you can get this it also has the

Lifetime value the audiences, which is what we care about it gives you demographics. You can see the graphics

You can see the age

Or you interest what are they interested in when they visit your site the behavior to technology?

Meaning to see the acquisition all the traffic are using AdWords

Which is basically Google's advertising platform?

What types of social channels are they coming from you can drill down deeper on the left side this gives you a general overview of?

What's happening now the behavior is also showing you

Very details something you want to see how are people behaving when they land on your website

Then it goes in conversions essentially over tracking certain goals if you're doing e-commerce site ecommerce is

Extremely important tablet you want to be using so you can track the people are visiting your site and track revenue your track sales

You can track bounce rates you can track comfort churn

You can track all the things that you need to know in this dashboard

You can see they've made it extremely easy to use you can even customize it even further

Using reports save reports you can set alerts if you want. Let's say when someone is visiting your site over a hundred thousand or

when you have a bounce rate that hits 50 percent send me an alert or

When you have a certain amount of sessions or certain amount of users?

Whatever it is that you want to track you can use all these different days now

I don't want to overwhelm you but this is just the main purpose you can see

Everything that you can do in this free tool by Google obviously you're gonna have to give them the data as well

But you're able to track the core metrics

You can get all the valuable stuff for free on your website and a lot of people that I know renowned entrepreneurs

We're out marketers and businesses and even myself. We all use Google

These Pocket Operators let you record your voice and sample - Duration: 4:18.

- Hey this is Dani with the Verge.

We're in the back of a Ford Expedition right now

in a parking lot but that is because we stumbled across

Teenage Engineering and they have created this nice little

hub for us so that we can test out some of their products.

We have two new products from them that build off

of the very popular pocket operator series

that they've had.

And this is really cool because for the first time

they have a vocal synthesizer which is this one right here.

It's called Speak.

And then they also have this other one down here called

the all look similar, this is the KO.

And this is the first time that they have had a sampler.

So a lot of the other pocket operators come with their own

presets almost.

And this is the first time where you can really

run with whatever you want.

There's a little microphone built into the top

and these can become very fluid pieces of equipment

where you can just morph whatever sound that you want.

So one of the cool things about the pocket operator series

is that you can daisy chain these together.

So right now we're going to put three of them together

and all you really need is just the stereo 1/8th inch jack

and then they can talk to each other whichever one

you have at the front.

And right now we have this gold Tonic.

This is going to be the one.

Sven, the blind gamer - Duration: 5:38.

I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 6...

that killed my optic nerve..

and that's what unfortunately made me blind.

I'm a blind gamer since I was 6 years old.

I was in the hospital for 3 months...

playing video games was everything to me...

the first thing I did when I got home was run up to my computer to play a video game...

but that's when I found out it didn't work the way it used to...

At some point a friend called me, he had Sreet Fighter II for the Super Nintendo...

so I went to play with my friend, who was playing this video game...

I sat next to him, listening to all the things happening in the game...

at some point I realised that I could visualize the gameplay through the sounds...

I was able to follow what was going on in the match, so I tried it out myself!

It was difficult at first, and I wasn't very good...

so I told my mom "I also want a super Nintendo!"...

I was 6 years old, I didn't know that it cost 400 bucks...

which is a lot of money ofcourse.

Fortunately, my whole family bought it for me...

that's how I got into Street Fighter.

Street Fighter has stereo audio which means that...

when my character is standing left, and my opponent on the right...

I'll hear the movements and abilities of those characters accordingly...

when both the characters are on the left side...

they both make noise on the left side, but one of them slightly more to the center.

That enables me keep to track of our position throughout the match.

The music also changes when a character is almost out of health...

it gets a bit more exciting when someone's almost out of health.

That's an indicator that one of us is low on health...

other than that it's very hard to know how much health someone has.

Even though I have a disability...

I think I have a bit of an advantage, because I can focus on the sound...

I also feel like I have a disadvantage in certain situations...

because it gives you an extra benefit when you can both see and hear what's happening in the match.

I always wanted to participate in tournaments when I was younger...

the problem was that it's always far away and expensive...

also a little bit scary to go on a trip.

But at some point last year, I decided to give it a go and I went to Madrid!

That was the closest and earliest tournament for Street Fighter.

In Madrid I won a match on the livestream...

and after that I got a lot of worldwide attention...

people were asking "how do you do that?!". That was very special.

There are a lot of tournaments out there...

but as long as I don't have a sponsor, I'll have to pay things out of my own pocket or from donations from my GoFundMe page...

all of the money people donate to me will be used for travelling, registering and accomodation costs...

every donator receives regular updates about how everything goes, how I develop...

whether I'm progressing or not, what place I ended at a tournament.

A lot of games could be accessible to people with disabilites, with a few minor tweaks...

the producers often don't realise that blind people, or people with an other disability, also want to play video games.

For example, a football manager game is mostly text based.

That's perfectly readible to blind people, if they would program it in such a way...

that our software that reads text to us would be compatible.

There are other games aswell, which could be more accessible...

if there are unique sounds for different abilities, in stead of a lot of the same sounds.

If the game developers want their game to be more accessible...

they just have to hire a few people with disabilities, let them play the game and listen to their feedback...

so that their game can be more accessible.

My plans for the future are ofcourse continue playing Street Fighter and get better at it...

and I hope to motivate people to do what they want to do...

it doesn't matter if it's gaming or something else...

but that they won't hold back because of their disability...

if you want something, go for it! See how far you can go...

I really didn't expect to survive in the world of gaming...

look where just one year got me.

I would really like it if we could set up a tournament for people who are blind...

or people who aren't blind, but blindfolded, and then play Street Fighter against each other.

It would require a different kind of skill for the people who use their vision.

I think that would be very awesome!
