James Eric Davis Sr., a police officer, and his wife, Diva Davis, a realtor, showed up at Central Michigan University to pick up their son, James Eric Davis Jr.

for spring break.

It could have – and should have – unfolded like many other college scenes before it: Two parents, showing up at school, to pick up their son.

However, the moment escalated into tragedy when the couple was shot and killed; police allege that the couple's son is a person of interest in the double shooting in a campus dormitory.

"The CMU Police Department has identified the victims in this morning's campus shooting as James Eric Davis, Sr., and Diva Jeneen Davis, both 47 years old.

The victims are the father and mother of the suspect, who remains at large," reported Central Michigan University.

The person of interest was named by the university as "James Eric Davis, Jr.

He is a black male, approximately 19 years of age, 5'10" and 135 lbs.".

Authorities believe he shot both parents to death, according to The Chicago Tribune.

He was still at large as of the evening of March 2, 2018, the day of the shooting.

The shooting sparked fears of an active shooter throughout the campus community and led to a lockdown.

The slain father, James Eric Davis Sr., was a police officer in Bellwood, Illinois.

According to The Chicago Tribune, Davis Sr.

was a "part-time police officer in west suburban Bellwood and a Illinois National Guard veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.".

Jordan Murphy, a friend of Davis Sr., described Davis Sr.

and his wife in an emotional Facebook post as "upstanding parents" who would do anything for their children.

Murphy worked with the father as an Army National Guard recruiter for Operation Iraqi Freedom and said Davis Sr.

was deployed to Iraq.

Murphy wrote on Facebook:.

To say I'm crushed, devastated even, is an understatement.

I'm at a f*cking loss.

James Eric Davis Sr, Eric, to those of us who knew him, and his wife, were loving, ever present parents, who doted on their children.

Eric and I worked together in the same office, as recruiters in the Illinois Army National Guard for a number of years after he spent 18 months deployed to Iraq at the outset of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Eric brought Junior (James Eric Davis Junior) to my house on several occasions, and our kids would play together.

His wife was a survivor of Stage 4 Breast Cancer, overcoming all odds to beat the disease, Junior was a very respectful man, raised by upstanding parents, who would do anything to protect him and his siblings.

This is an incredibly tragic event, and I pray for Eric's other children.

This is so incredibly out of character, something went wrong somewhere.

For those of you who don't know – this is the shooting that occurred today at Central Michigan University.

Diva Davis, Who Was Remembered for Her 'Wonderful Soul', Worked as a Real Estate Broker.

Photos that Diva Davis posted to Facebook show her once working as a flight attendant.

In 2015, she posted a photo next to a tropical pool and wrote, "Relaxing after a long day! Did I tell you how much I love my job? Lol." She sometimes posted about religion, writing in 2015, "Happy Resurrection Sunday!! HE HAS RISEN!!".

However, in 2017, she changed her employment status on Facebook to self-employed and described herself as a real-estate broker from Chicago, Illinois.

Other posts showed scenes from London, Puerto Rico, and Times Square in New York City.

She wrote on a post about Belgium, "You can't come to Brussels without eating a Belgium waffle." In 2013, she posted from Philadelphia, writing, "Happy Independence Day! Be Safe!".

Friends and strangers alike filled her Facebook page with messages of condolence.

"I am in complete shock! Diva and I commuted together to opposite bases.

She was such a wonderful soul.

I cannot believe I won't seeing her beautiful face again.

So, so sad," wrote one woman.

A man wrote, "Just worked a 4 day with Diva that ended tuesday.

What a super person!".

Diva Davis Was a Breast Cancer Survivor Who Wrote That She Was 'Thankful to Be Alive'.

On her Facebook page, Diva Davis posted graphics revealing that she was a breast cancer survivor.

"Keep calm.

I'm a breast cancer survivor," read one graphic.

A friend responded on the comment thread: "You are a survivor and my champion!! You got me through it.".

Diva wrote: "I love you too.

How to Cook Vegetables hotchpotch / Niramish Vuna Khichuri / Mug Dal diye Sobji Khicuri - Duration: 5:07.

Hello viewers, in this video I will show you how to cook Vegetables hotchpotch

Ingredients will need for cooking

Pumpkin 1 cup

Brinjal 1 cup

Tomato 1

Bean 1/2 cup

Broccoli 1/2 cup

Potato 1/2 cup

Peas 1/2 cup

Carrots 1 Cup

Cauliflower 1 Cup

Cowpea 1/2 cup

Ginger Paste 1 Teaspoon

Bay leaf 1

Red Chilli 2

Cumin Paste 1 Teaspoon

Cinnamon 2 inch

Green Chilli 2

Spice Mixture (Cardamom 2, Black Cardamom 1)

Panch Phoron 1/2 Teaspoon

Pulao rice 1 cup (washed thoroughly with water then dry up)

Half boiled Mung bean 1/2 Cup

Ghee 1 Teaspoon

Salt and Turmeric to taste

For cooking vegetables Niramish Vuna Khichuri first I will heat 4-5 spoons of soybean oil in a non-stick pan

When the oil is hot, then I will add bay leaf and dry chillies and will fry them a little

Then I will add Panch Phoron and vegetables and will fry them for 2 minutes

I have given all the vegetables together, so that soft vegetables like brinjal, tomato will be mixed with Khichuri

That's why the taste of the Vegetables hotchpotch will be a bit different and delicious

If you want softer vegetables do not melt, then you can add those vegetables when you will add rice to fry

After 2 minutes, I will add Turmeric and salt to taste and will cook the vegetables until half cooked in low flame

The vegetables will be half boiled when the water will dry up which is coming out from vegetables

I will boil the vegetable half because the remaining half will boil when I will fry the rice and will add water to cook khichuri

Now I will add poloa rice with vegitables and fry them for 6-7 minutes

At the end of frying rice, I will mix cinnamon, green chilli, ginger paste, cumin paste and Spice Mixture

After that I will add Half Boiled Mung bean and 2 cups of water then cover the pan with lid for 5-6 minutes in low flame

After 5-6 minutes, I will remove cover from the pan, then I will add a spoonful of ghee and cover it again for 3-4 minutes

After 3-4 minutes, I will remove the cover and stir the vuna khichuri a little to finish the cooking

Vegetarian Vegetables hotchpotch is ready to be served

McRoyal May Have Been The 911 Caller Who Alerted Emergency Responders.

The identity of the caller who contacted emergency responders has not yet been released, though many have speculated that it was McRoyal.

According to Billboard, the call went as follows:.

Rick Ross was hospitalized early Thursday morning when police and emergency teams were called to the scene after he was "found unresponsive" in his Florida home, according to TMZ.

The report also states that the distress and heavy breathing could be pneumonia-related.

The Davie Police Department confirmed the medical crisis to Billboard on Friday (March 2).

Rozay has had a long history of suffering from seizures in the past, which he credited to a lack of sleep.

The dispatch record obtained by Billboard says the 911 caller noticed the MMG boss was "slobbing from the mouth" and "nodding his head" after several attempts at waking up the 42-year-old.

Local police were alerted to the situation when Ross became "combative" with medics.

Police stated they got involved when "Fire Rescue 65 [requested police] to step it up, which means need to come faster in reference to a combative patient." Sgt.

Leone, head of media and public relations, said since "Police officers arrived at 3:43 AM and cleared at 3:47 AM.

I can speculate that we didn't get involved.

We didn't write a report on it.".

The report makes a reference to Ross having difficulty breathing and that his medical issues could be related to pneumonia.

It was further reported that Ross has a history of seizures.

It is Unclear How Long Ross and McRoyal Have Been Together.

Ross and McRoyal stepped out publicly as a couple in 2018.

However, in 2017, McRoyal posted a picture she took while out on a date with Ross with the caption "Your future gets brighter with every breath you breathe, you a bad mf'er but even more breathtaking standing next to me.".

It is believed that McRoyal maintained a respectful distance during the time surrounding the birth of Ross' baby with his former lover, but was still involved with him to some extent, whether as a friend or otherwise.

Lauryn, a single mother of one, resides in Atlanta.

However, it is believed that she has been spending a lot of time with Ross at his Atlanta home.

McRoyal Has Not Posted Any Updates Related to Ross.

It is believed that she is by his side at an area hospital and will update her followers if and when she deems it appropriate.

In the meantime, little is known about Ross' condition.

According to some reports, Ross has a history of seizures.

Others point to his recent weight loss of over 75 lbs.

possibly taking a toll on his heart.

Ross has struggled with health problems dating back to 2011, according to US Weekly.

"The "Purple Lamborghini" rapper previously suffered two seizures within a six-hour period in 2011.

He was hospitalized in Birmingham, Alabama, and later told BET's 106 & Park, "It was a case of me not getting enough rest, enough sleep.

I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving.".

Ross, who weighed 350 pounds at his heaviest, told Men's Health in 2016 that he lost 75 pounds after making some lifestyle changes in the wake of his seizures.
