Waching daily Dec 2 2018

and I've made some videos about Eugenia cooney lately but there's a much bigger

problem and it comes to YouTube ads and marketing as a whole what is up

everybody this is Chris from the rewired soul where we talk about the problem but

focus on the solution and if you're new to my channel my channel is all about

mental health what I like to do is pull different topics from the YouTube

community they're trying to teach you how to improve your mental and emotional

well-being but part of what I do too is try to be an advocate for mental health

and increase awareness and there's some messed-up stuff going on when it comes

to marketing to people who have different types of mental illnesses and

just kind of advertising as a whole but anyways you're into improving your

mental health make sure you subscribe and bring that notification battle

before I jump into that topic also I just got the urge to send out an email

blast this morning so if you are online mental health motivation email list go

check it out I made a video about another video I made an email about

embracing your struggle because especially after I made that video about

spill the other day a lot of people can relate to what I was saying we're like

we wish we had it as easy as other people but in this email I talked about

how your struggle is actually a really good thing and it pretty much makes you

awesome and very resilient so anyways I will link that email down below if you

want to check it out and if you want to sign up for the email list I just sent

emails try to give it give your day a little jumpstart in the right direction

all right anyways so yeah what what's going on with this video what am i doing

what am I talking about today so I made a couple of videos about Eugenia Cooney

and raising awareness and I was getting I was getting some comments

about the ads on my video and I'm like okay like nobody comments about ads on

my video like what are you talking about asking and people were telling me that

like some of these places that sell like some of you know the flat tummy tees or

those suckers are advertising on my videos about Eugenia Cooney and that is

mess okay so let me talk to you guys for a

minute let me talk to you all for a minute okay just about how like YouTube

ad works and how like the YouTube algorithm works so when I make a video I

touched on this a little bit before and all of you creators out there take notes

you put as much information in the title description is tags so YouTube knows who

to send your videos out to right so in my videos if you look in the tags you

know I have things like you know Eugenia cootie eating disorders whatever just

mental illness type stuff youtuber type stuff well from the advertiser angle

right they can target who they want to market to and that is so sick and

disgusting and twisted that it blows my mind so this means this means that these

companies that are promoting this like weight loss flat tummy T or the suckers

or whatever other products they are specifically telling YouTube we want to

target people who have eating disorders we want to target people who like

channels like Eugenia Cooney think about that for a second that is

messed up this is something I've wanted to talk about for a long time so on

Instagram the out of the way that algorithm works is that you use hashtags

right so hashtags that so people can find what you're talking about different

categories well I have different saved documents for different hashtag list

that I've made some one for depression someone from an anxiety someone for

relationships some are motivational but one of them that I have is for sobriety

okay sobriety is one of them so some of them

some of them like I post about like hey staying sober like you know here here's

some motivation to stay sober there are alcohol and drug companies out

there that are looking for posts that use hashtags like sober and sobriety so

they can market to drug addicts and alcoholics like it's and I'm the only

one seeing a problem with this like what is happening what type of person thinks

it's okay it to be like hey you know I know you're struggling with your

alcoholism but let me tell you about this tequila that I got over here like

that's nuts and this is something I've had issue with for a long time even

before I got into YouTube and Instagram and stuff so as somebody in recovery

like stays sober is difficult more people are dying from addiction than

pretty much any other preventable cause of death out there right and there are

bars out there for example who will give you free drinks if you turn in one of

your AAA coins but think about that like I get it I get that it's like kind of

like quirky and a joke and stuff like that boy can you imagine you imagine a

guy or a woman who has destroyed their family because of their alcoholism right

their spouse is about to leave them their kids won't talk to them they're

about to lose their job whatever it is they get sober they get sober for maybe

two months maybe three months things are starting to get better for them things

are starting to look a little bit brighter in their lives so one day

they're struggling right one day they get a little stressed out and there's a

bar right down the street that will take your coin and give you free drinks so

the bar they think that's a funny little marketing campaign you don't need to

stay sober no big deal this person relapses at that bar turns in their a a

chip and now they lose their wife they lose their kids they lose their job they

lose everything that they've worked hard for these last 90 days like is this

making sense to you like this is just one of those issues that you know we

face as a society where a lot of these places just see us as numbers and not as

people that's one of the reasons I try to stay so connected to all of you in

the comments section like I never want to forget that each one of you is a

human being each one of you has family it's one of us friends each one of you

has children each one of you has a light and this pursuit of happiness like we

can't just do stuff like this and I wanted to make this video to increase

awareness but the other topic that I want to talk about is just marketing as

a whole so I know both men and women struggle with body image issues but this

is a big problem with women in general like so after

really ignorant and silly but I've told some other people about this but after I

did some of my Eugenia Cooney videos and I said I was reading all the comments I

was totally ignorant to the fact the eating disorders were such a huge

problem like why are we not talking about this I put a poll up on my

community page just asking how many people are in recovery from an eating

disorder and how many people are currently in the midst of an eating

disorder there were thousands upon thousands of votes and every vote means

that somebody is either currently in the midst of it or is recovering from it and

that blew my mind I'm like oh my god and so what is what is the reason for this

so there's I'm not going to do a whole video right now about the cause of

eating disorders but I do want to talk about the problem of marketing right now

okay so something that I'm always trying to teach all of you is to check you

check your value system right I talked about these youtubers who need to check

in with their values but there's a lot of them think like oh once I get this

many subscribers I'll be happy or you might be like oh well take it this job

then I'll be happy once I get this relationship then I'll be happy once I

get this amount of money then I'll be happy right well a lot of this also has

to do with body image and something that's been kind of in the news recently

I know Philip DeFranco talked about it was that there are a bunch of

celebrities endorsing these products like flat tummy teas and these suckers

and it's all over Instagram it's all over Instagram so one of the best things

that I ever heard that I'm gonna tell all of you and I want you to remember

this like write it down put it on your mirror do something like just remember

this in your brain the worst advertisement ever would be one that

told you that you were perfect the worst advertisement ever would be one that

said you're fine just the way that you are the worst advertisement ever would

say you don't need anything to make people like you more right because then

why would you buy it advertisements are designed to make you

feel bad about yourself that's what they do

because if there's nothing for you to fix why would you buy anything okay like

this is an issue and we need to be aware of that so when you see all these like

Instagram models or celeb whoever it is telling you like oh use

this product use this product you look like me and then you could be happy like

you guys do you know how many people with the quote-unquote perfect body are

freakin miserable I do understand that like remember like well I made a video

about body positivity like a while ago before my channel started getting bigger

like I you know always weight loss journey and stuff like that but

something I realize is that only losing the weight not working on this is not

gonna help it's not gonna solve my problems but it's like they set you up

with these false expectations - so this is an insane this is an insane

absolutist and I would do some research before I recorded this video my name is

Stephanie Soo aka MisMangoButt and today we are back with another skinny mint gummies so this is

the first one it's supposed to make your body burn fat

this one is helped curb your appetite you know when you want like the midnight

- I have obviously been loving and been using key that is Stephanie Soo aka MissMangoButt

whatever mukbang youtuber where she sucks her face on camera that's a whole different

thing that maybe I'll talk about at some other point anyways she is like a twig

and she's endorsing he's like weight-loss gummies like what what you

guys okay alright so like remember how earlier I was talking about how like in

my email how embrace your struggle and stuff like I always thought it wasn't

fair like I've been a bigger dude my entire life but my best friend my best

friend in the world who I grew up with he is like five times more than I do and

he has the body of a Greek god okay some people were just blessed with amazing

genetics and amazing metabolism so I don't like when somebody like Stephanie

sue is like saying hey you can board your face eat 10,000 calories a day and

you can look like this no you cannot okay

you cannot and we need this is one of the reasons why I promote people like

learning about science and stuff because you need to realize that that is a false

expectation okay but the last thing I want to touch on is this please read

that email that I sent out because it ties perfectly into this conversation

that we're having okay embrace your struggle embrace your struggle okay go

to the gym eat healthier meal plan do all these things that I'm trying to do

myself because at the end of the day you will feel so much better about what you

did taking shortcuts does not give me that

same sense of accomplishment and often with any short clip in life there are

drawbacks to it and when it comes to these it's the fact that they're

unhealthy for you okay when you're taking these weight loss T's and all

these other things or appetite suppressants whatever it is okay so

please remember that please remember again the worst advertisements on earth

would be ones that are trying to make you feel good about yourself

advertisements are designed to make you feel terrible alright anyways I would

love to hear from all of you down in the comments below like have you seen

advertisements pop up like for for things that are supposed to be against

something right like for example I'll throw this out there like earlier this

year there was a big hubbub about LGBTQ youtubers having anti LGBTQ ads on their

videos like that's messed up anyways let's have a conversation down below

okay baby wait if you liked this video please give it a thumbs up if you're new

make sure you subscribe and read that notification bell because I make a ton

of videos and if you stink you to everybody supporting the channel over on

patreon you are all amazing and I got all your questions for the next patreon

Q&A I am going through them and there's still some time so if you want to become

a patron and submit me your questions click the top right there alright thanks

so much for watching I'll see you next

Do You Really Need to Invest in Bonds for a Balanced Portfolio? - Duration: 5:09.

Robert Brokamp: So far we've talked about stocks. Well, what about bonds?

Alison Southwick: What about bonds?

Brokamp: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the green bean casserole of your portfolio.

Some people love them. Some might say they're even good for you.

Others, however, can't stand them. I'm like that! Southwick: I love green bean casserole!

There's no way it's healthy! Brokamp: Well, the bean part might be.

Southwick: Green beans are barely healthy for you and then you're like, "Cream of mushroom soup!

Fried onions! Here's the veg!" Brokamp: An onion's a vegetable, right?

Just like a French fry. So that's bonds for you.

Southwick: That's OK if they don't give you a heart attack. Way to go.

Brokamp: Let's look at the historical returns.

Since 1926, intermediate government bonds have returned 5.5% a year. Best year -- 29%!

Who knew you could get 29% from bonds in a single year?

Worst year was -5%, and there have only been a handful of years when bonds lost out,

and obviously that's one of the big benefits.

The problem is bonds are particularly unattractive right now because we're in a rising interest rate environment.

When rates go up bonds go down. In fact, this year they're actually down.

It's never great. It's particularly bad this year because the S&P 500 is also down.

And you buy bonds because you want something to be up in your portfolio when your stocks are down.

In fact, since 1926 there's only been two years when both bonds and stocks lost money.

The last time was 1969, so we're actually in the middle of what could be a very unique year. Who knows?

Maybe the stock market will recover before the end of the year.

Bonds probably won't, because the market expects that the Fed will raise interest rates again

at the December meeting. I think we've pretty much locked in the loss for bonds this year.

So, what else can you do if you want to have some money out of the stock market?

Well, then we'd come to the rolls of your Thanksgiving meal and that is cash.

Southwick: Ah! Bread. Brokamp: Bread! Your boring bread stuff, right?

Everyone should have some, and you can go with the basic, boring rolls that you buy

in bulk at the grocery store.

That's like going to your local bank and opening up a regular, old savings account and you're

not going to get very much. Or you can put in a little more effort.

Make your homemade cornbread. Make your homemade whatever.

Bacon-filled croissants or something like that.

Basically if you put in a little more effort, you can actually earn more than 2% on

cash these days, so I think it's worth doing that.

Looking at the historical returns, we're looking at T-bills, which are short-term Treasuries,

and basically an equivalent of cash. Since 1926, T-bills have returned 3.4%.

The best year was almost 15%. That was in 1981.

The worst, of course, is zero, and that's the great thing about cash.

It doesn't lose value.

The overall question, then, is how much should you have in cash and bonds?

This really depends.

When you look across all target-date funds, it surprisingly doesn't change based on the

target retirement date.

The allocations for these various types of stocks are pretty much the same whether they

expect you're going to retire in five years or 50 years.

Obviously, that's different when it comes to how much you're going to have in bonds

and cash, because the closer you are to your retirement, you should be playing it safer.

But these funds play it pretty darn safe.

For example, for a 2010 fund [so basically anyone who's already retired], overall they

recommend that you have 62% of your portfolio in cash and bonds.

That's playing it pretty safe. And then it goes down as you get further out.

So a 2025 fund has about 40% in cash and bonds, 2040 only 17%, and 2050 only 11.2% in cash and bonds.

For me, the Rule Your Retirement model says you should have 40% out of the stock market

if you're retired, 25% out if you're within a decade of retirement, and if you're

more than a decade from retirement, 5% is fine.

And these days I think that, especially for money you need in the next five years that

you want to keep perfectly safe, cash is the way to go, because the bond market is just

going to continue to struggle over the next year or two.

Over the long term, if you're just looking for some overall diversification to your portfolio,

a diversified low-cost bond fund is perfectly fine.

Rates going up is actually good for future returns for bonds over the long term.

It just hurts in the short term.

At some point bonds will return to their historical average of beating cash by 2%, but that's

not going to happen for another couple of years.

So for money you need to keep absolutely safe, stick to the rolls.

Stick to the cash.

Has Your Partner do These Things When They're With You? - Duration: 4:20.

Has Your Partner do These Things When They're With You?

Behavior plays a great role in any relationship, and it determines the quality of affection

or love that each party gives.

If one doesn't show true love, it will be clearly seen in each other's behavior.

When it comes to men, there are at least 10 signature signs that most men will do to their

love.

So, make sure to pay attention to those because if you are a woman, you should not ignore

them.

In any case, please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know

the complete information.

Here's the 10 behaviors men show when they're with their true love.

#1 - He listens.

When someone is in love, that person is willing to listen to anything said by the other party.

However, in a true love relationship, the man will listen to you attentively and closely.

Men are not good at listening because they are easily distracted and may unable to memorize

details.

However, they are doing their best to show their true love that he cares.

#2 - He makes sacrifice.

Men will do anything to make their partner happy.

One of the hardest thing to do is definitely to make sacrifice.

Not all people are capable in doing that because it is risky, and there is no guarantee on

the reward.

If the man chooses you instead of the other thing, there's a huge chance that he really

loves you.

#3 - He doesn't feel comfortable.

Sometimes, it is important to see the sign of his anxiety especially when your man cannot

accommodate you.

If he regrets his inability, you should see it as his love instead of his failure, especially

after your man has put everything to make it happen.

#4 - He shows his weakness.

Men don't show their weakness in front of others because it is something naturally built

in them.

However, they are somehow willing to share their problems, anxiety, and weakness honestly

in front of you if they really like you.

#5 - He likes you every time.

At the first time you met with him, you probably wore nice dress, beautiful makeup, and sparkling

accessories.

However, after you are in a relationship for quiet sometimes, you feel comfortable meeting

him without any of those.

The reason is because he accepts you no matter how you look.

If that's true, he is really in love with you.

#6 - He's proud of you.

A great man will always consider you as a great woman who has a natural beauty.

He won't try to change you, and he always makes you the queen of her heart.

He is really proud of whatever you are.

#7 - He will show what you worth.

As he is really proud of you, he proves it by showing how valuable you are to his family,

friend, colleagues, and relatives.

He wants to introduce you to those people because he wants you to the member of his

circle.

#8 - He supports you.

No matter how ridiculous your idea is, your man will always be there to support you.

Of course, it is not for something bad or evil.

#9 - He fights with you.

The man who truly loves you will not let you go on the field alone.

He will try to help you as deemed necessary to make your journey far easier, enjoyable,

and meaningful.

This man shows his true love through his action, and you should see that.

#10 - He respects your circle.

You have family, friends, and relatives too, and it is impossible to ignore them.

If your man truly loves you, he will not only marry you.

He also marries your family.

He also tries to befriend with your friends.

Well, those are the 10 behaviors men show when they're with their true love.

So, really cool information isn't it?

NaisNias - Why Pee Myujikku! (姦恁老母 Got Problem with Me is It?) - Duration: 5:11.

Oh no

Why are you

Ah Beng Music!!!!

('Cause I) Happened to met you

Beautiful only when leaving footprints

Winds blow, flowers fall, tears as rain

'Cause we don't want to depart

'Cause I happened to met you

Leaving 10 years' worth of promise

If I see you again

I think I will remember you

At this point some bad random English rap comes along, Unfortunately I don't have the resources or the skill to do it

We cried,

We laughed,

We raised our heads, staring at the skies

Only a few stars there glowing

We sang

The song of time

Finally knowing how to embrace one another,

What was that for?

Because I had just met you

Beautiful only when leaving footprints

Winds blow, flowers fall, tears as rain

'Cause we don't wanna depart

'Cause I happened to met you

Leaving 10 years' of expectations

If I see you again,

I think I will remember you

Are you ready?

So boring.

Want me to play the guitar?

I want to play a song.

Oh shit is that song

I shouldn't use my knowledge for forbidden uses such as this

Lane a lane!

Dehui Lane!

WHY PEE MYUJIKKKUUUUUUUU!!!!!!

Just where are you at right now?

I'm waiting over here just like a crazy man!

It's been years it has passed by

And you said you only wanted to wait

Wherever I go, I will always love you

Wherever we go, we make promises first

You want a doggy, I already gave you

You want a kitty, I already gave you

You want a rombi (whatever that is), I gave that to you too

You want a quickie, I gave that to you too

kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

You, you, you, you

I love you

I became a slut, all because of you <3

I went to Sunda, all because of you <3

A thousand tears for you!

I gave you my everything

All because of you!

warning offensive lyrics going to be shown

TURN OFF SUBTITLES IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE TRIGGERED

Different generations of gangsters precede one another

Mine will be the most fierce

Long live the brothers

Eighteens are loyal to one another,

Garnering fame smoothly

Our guys are the most feared

There's a pride that can't be lost

So listen up... Syoyiho

We dragons will have the power

We dragons are three-headed

A zero in the middle

Long live 303! (AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)

Indecipherable lyrics are indecipherable

Let us go to Tanjong Rhu

To Dehui Lane, to au ah au

Dehui Lane to you... Sorry I just can't... (I hope the translation helps, you know what it means anyways lol)

Hahahaha... Whooo!

This is a remix that shouldn't be done!

Anyways...

Have a happy new year!

I mean national day! Whoop!

Japanese Department store? Shopping mall? What is BicCamera? #059 - Duration: 7:02.

This is my favorite sake kubota Manju

super high-tech Japanese toilet

I found Kotatsu

Hey guys, welcome to Rion's TV. I'm Rion

Alright so today I come to BicCamera

Well, this bicCamera is really popular in Japan and the pretty much you can find it in anywhere in Japan

for sure It's in Tokyo and Osaka. I think it's in everywhere

Well sounds like a camera store right? but then actually it's not

then what is BicCamera?

There sell so many kinds of stuff. Well, I don't think that's Cam store

so it is like a shopping mall, but then it's not

Well, actually, I don't know how to explain. So just let me show you inside

Alright, so let's go in

As you see, I'm at the first floor Entrance and they sell the bicycle

I guess the camera store doesn't sell the bicycle, okay?

So let's go check inside, there are nine floors, but then BicCamera owns 7 floors

Anyway, let's go to check inside

At the first floor, there is a liquor store you can buy many kinds of a sake here

Well, this one is my favorite sake which is Kubota Manju

Well, the Kamata is really expensive sake you know, when I was the US when I try to drink the Kubota

Which was over 100 US dollars, but if you buy in here

It's only 5,000 Japanese yen

Which is less than 50 US dollars if you love Japanese sake this Kubota is so good

A bit expensive but then this is really good souvenir from Japan.

Let's go to check second floor

At the second floor, they sell the glasses and also the Cam as well

and also in the other half

That's the watch section

you can find very expensive watch to very cheap watch as well.

Ok, so let's go to check third floor

They sell a huge TV and other DVD players and Blue-ray player as well. Ok, so

Let's see other half

So this half, they sell earphone and headphones and also other audio devices

Ok, so let's go to check 4th floor

So at the 4th floor, they sell PCs and also there is Apple store as well

and they sell PCs, and printers, and other kind of stuff

that's pretty much in 4th floor, so let's go to check 5th floor

I am at the 5th floor, still in the BicCam, but then it does look like a drugstore, right?

Well, they sell the chocolate snacks and also the medicine as well

Ok, so how about the other half?

In the 5th floor, you can buy many Japanese souvenirs as well.

Well, look at this one

This one is popular in Hokkaido, and the next one, this souvenir is popular in Kyoto

And also look at this one this one is souvenir from Mt Fuji

And of course you can find Osaka souvenir as well. So I think this is a good place to buy souvenirs

Other half, electric appliances for the home use and also they sell the rice cookers as well

Well, they sell overseas models which you can use outside of the Japan

you can just buy the stuff in here and you can just bring it back to your country

it's a great place to buy a electric appliances.

Okay. So let's go to check 5th floor

They sell AC and also heaters

look at this

You know what this is?

This is super high-tech Japanese toilet.

Well as you see

You can just install to the restroom like this

Then your toilet gonna be a super high-tech, you know

if you come to Japan you are gonna surprised in the restroom because

Japanese restroom has the many functions. You can just come over here and then you can buy this top which is

30,000 Japanese yen, which is three hundred US dollars

Well, I guess it's a bit expensive but then it worth it. It's really good

I believe you can just buy this here and bring it back to your country and install it

Then your restroom gonna be like a hi-tech Japanese restroom. Wow, it does sound good, right? Yep

Okay, so let's go to the next place

Look I found Kotatsu, have you guys heard about the kotatsu?

Kotatsu is a really popular in Japan. This is the desk with electric heater on top

Well, and usually covered with the blanket like this?

Which Three Sides do you Choose? -- Back Porch Bickerin' - Duration: 5:31.

Well first of all, Tamika welcome to the porch.

Thank you, thank you. Porch newbie. Yep. It's great to have you here. Thank you

for having me. But unfortunately you're going down. I mean if we're talking about

food . . I think I think we should all . . . I'm so scared.

I'm Calli and today we're

talking about the best sides, the top sides, the first sides you reach for at a

meat and three. Hey I'm Tamika. I'm here to talk about

the absolute best sides at a meat and three.

The top three I reach for. I go for green beans. Get my veggie. Check! I go for a sweet potatoes, because they're

delicious. And then three . . . I go peach cobbler, because a lot of meat three

places somehow consider that a side.

My top three sides

definitely fried okra, mac and cheese and then collard greens. Love me some collard greens.

I think a lot of it depends on the particular restaurants. Depending on

which one you go to you know you kind of know exactly what you're gonna get.

Yeah, so yeah I'll slightly vary but I have categories that I want to hit, like

okay I'm gonna have some kind of semi vegetables. But I want something green

and then I want something not green and really delicious, and then a wild card. My

plate needs to have like a 75% orange kind of ratio. It needs to be 75 percent orange?

75% orange and then like that other 25% is gonna be like

that nice fresh like green kind of vegetable. How many orange foods are

there? I mean pretty much everything out of a meat and three is like orange if you

really think about it. It's science. I'm gonna pick something green and I'm going

green beans cuz usually it's cooked like bacon or like ham hocks or something.

It's better than you think it seems like a boring choice I get it. I think it's a

fine choice, if you hate yourself. Right, okra is like it's two things in one you

get like the fried to crispiness. Right and then you get like that surprise like

little green. You can really tell the quality of like a great like meat

and three restaurant, you know from that fried okra. So number two, sweet potatoes.

So I love sweet potatoes in any form. I love them on pie. I probably love them on

pizza, so I'm gonna go with sweet potato fries. I don't have anything to say to that. I think that's

fine. Number two sides, and I think everybody's with me when you pick mac

and cheese. See I think mac and cheese is a popular

choice. I don't think it's the right choice. It's just not that good. It's not as good

as homemade mac and cheese. It's not gonna do it shells mac and cheese from the

box. Wait, what? Yeah, it's not. Whoooaah. I don't know

if I've ever been satisfied by mac and cheese. Ok audience, like I know you guys know some

like wonderful places that make like just like momma made, like mac and cheese.

Comment below, let me know because at most places I'm underwhelmed with mac and cheese.

Maybe this might be a good like therapy session. That's why I brought you here I need help.

I need your help. Tell me about the last time you had a

bad batch of mac and cheese. Well I was sitting my porch, and I had a friend over

and they made me eat mac and cheese. This was you it was a few minutes ago. (Laughing) All right number three,

Sometimes at a meat and three you get a magical moment where they have peach cobbler as

a side. That's what I have chosen and it is here. That's what I have chosen. Okay. It's hard to

disagree with that. Tell me yeah . . . oh but your greens look good too. Let me tell

you about my greens. Smell this, smell it. not know that mm-hmm jeez man up it. Smell that?

Smells like somebody put their foot all up in this batch of collared greens, and that's what

you want. Look at that. It's like. That's dull. It's standing at attention like

right there. Oh wet. Looks like it's been in mud. You need, you need my mom to make

you some. I will accept your invitation to come to dinner with your mom. You're going to say yes?

So we have a basket now. All right. And there's only room for three sides. Which three

are going in? I mean you already know that's going in. I think I do think okra

deserves a spot in the basket. I will concede that. Okay. Can we agree

on peach cobbler? I think we can agree on the peach cobbler. Okay, so we have peach

cobbler and okra, and now a third side. It hurts me to do this but you're right

I mean sometimes like mac and cheese can be gross. This . . . like

this reminds me of like my grandma. I mean for a nostalgia it can go in the

box and I'm not eating it. I'm eating my peach cobbler.

I'm skipping that. Is it picnic time now? Wait, wait do we need to get some

cornbread up in there? You mean biscuits? Cornbread! I

didn't give this body eatin' cornbread, its body by biscuits. I agree with you most of the

time, but I'm team mac and team cornbread on this one. Just had to go back to that.

Otherwise, you're right. Yeah I know.

(Singing) Here we are with my delicious mac and cheese. I finished all my food.

What Happens To Your Brain When You Get Blackout Drunk - Duration: 3:12.

Narrator: Saturday, 12 p.m., the light burns,

your head throbs, and you have no recollection

of how you got back home.

Don't worry, you're not alone.

More than half of college students experience blackouts,

according to several studies.

And let's be clear, blacking out doesn't mean passing out.

You were probably awake and aware the entire night.

So then, where did all those memories go?

Let's rewind to Friday night.

Normally, whenever you have an experience,

like a conversation, a part of your brain

called the prefrontal cortex stores that information

in short-term memory.

Then, another part of your brain called the hippocampus

weaves those experiences together,

so they can be stored away as long-term memories.

So the next day, you remember the party as a whole,

instead of smell of sweat, house music, Jen was there.

But here's the key part.

Storing these episodes in long-term memory

requires special neurotransmitters.

But your liquor shots prevent the neurotransmitters

from working properly.

So instead of remembering the party,

all you have is an incomplete, or even empty file.

And the amount of alcohol in your system at the time

influences how much you remember.

Let's say you're a 73 kilogram adult man,

and you've done eight shots in one hour.

Your blood alcohol content is probably

around .2% by this point,

more than twice the legal limit for driving a car.

And your brain may still be able to store some memories,

so you end up with islands of memories

separated by missing sections.

That's called a fragmentary blackout,

aka a grayout or brownout.

But if you keep pounding those shots, it gets worse.

Within the next half hour,

you pound back another four shots.

Now your blood alcohol content hits around .3%,

and your hippocampus goes dark, and full amnesia sets in.

This is called an en bloc blackout,

and once you wake up, that entire night could be blank.

Push your BAC much higher than that, and you might die.

And yet your friends might not even realize

you're in the middle of a blackout,

since the alcohol didn't delete your long-term memories

already safe in storage before the night began.

So you can still carry on conversations

and behave more or less like a typical person, to an extent.

Blackouts aside, alcohol can still interfere

with other regions of your brain,

including those responsible

for reasoning and decision-making.

So during blackouts, people have crashed cars,

gotten into fights, and committed

or been the victims of sexual assault.

They might just not remember it.

That being said, not everyone gets blackouts.

Your sex, body weight and family history all play a role.

So that could explain

why your friends recall the entire night,

despite downing just as much tequila.

But it won't save them

from a wicked hangover the next morning.

PC2 Competition Entry - Duration: 1:52.

My Names Michael Weddell, You asked us why I love Project Cars 2

I'm currently in my Scottish mini cooper at Knockhill Racing Circuit.

for some testing for next year. Project Cars 2 is the only game that features

this track so this is why I love project cars two. I can get back in my house

practice and simulations get on some laps on the board and make sure we can go for it.

I'm just gonna take quite a steady out here because the conditons

are pretty poor

Now, you also asked us why I would like to win Fanatec Gear

Why use fanatec gear?

the best gear for practicing

So when I go back home, I can go back in the simulator and use the Fanatec gear and PC2 to test out in the wet conditons

Now that's the most important bit, getting the testing in

Testing is key.

Project Cars 2 allows me to keep testing, especially in the wet

because when you're in Scotland, it's always raining!

now that's why I would like to win the Fanatec Gear

With Project Cars 2, I can keep testing at Knockhill.

Thank's for Watching!
