Waching daily Jan 2 2019

Hey guys, it's Clara from Online Fabric Store. Today I'm gonna make a tote bag with a recess zipper

This one is made to fit a Mahjong set, but you can make it any size you want. So let's get started

The materials you'll need are: 1 yard of the outer fabric, I'm using home decor fabric

1 yard of the lining fabric, I'm using muslin, 1 yard of Pellon fusible fleece interfacing,

1 yard of Pellon decor bond fusible stabilizer,

A zipper that's at least as wide as the bag, a ruler, thread, 3 yards of 1 inch webbing,

scissors, a fabric marker, pins, an iron, and a sewing machine with a zipper foot

Cut two rectangles from the outer fabric

They should be the width you want the bag plus one inch by the height plus two and a half inches

My bag will be twenty-two inches wide and 11 inches high

So I'm cutting pieces that are 23 by 13 and 1/2 inches

You can use many different fabrics for the outer fabric like canvas denim nylon, quilting cotton or decor fabric, which is what I'm using

If you plan on washing your bag pre-wash the fabric before starting

Cut 2 inch squares from the bottom corners

This will create the gussets so the size of the squares will determine the depth of the bottom of the bag

This bag will have four inch gussets

If you want a different size, divide the depth you want the bag in half and cut out squares that are that size

Keep in mind this will also change the height of the bag

Cut out two pieces of the lining fabric that are the same width as the outer fabric and two inches shorter

My pieces are 23 by 11 and a half inches

Cut out two inch squares from the bottom corners

Use a lightweight fabric for the lining like broadcloth or quilting cotton

Cut two pieces from the lining fabric that are 2 and 1/2 inches high and the same width as the other pieces

These upper lining pieces will be visible above the zipper so you can use the outer fabric if you prefer

I'm adding a pocket to the interior that size to fit Mahjong cards but this is optional

The pocket will be 5 by 7 inches

Add 1 inch to the width and the height is double the pocket height plus 1 inch,

So I'm cutting a piece that's 11 by 8 inches

Cut out pieces from the fusible stabilizer for the outer fabric and upper lining that are 1/2 an inch smaller in all directions

For me that's 22 and 1/2 by 13 inches for the outer pieces and 22 and 1/2 by 2 inches for the upper lining

Also cut out a piece that's the size of the finished pocket which is 5 by 7 inches

From the fleece interfacing cut pieces that are 1/2 an inch smaller than the lower lining pieces

The stabilizer makes the bag stiffer so it will hold its shape and the fleece interfacing makes the lining more cushioned

Both are optional or you can use one kind for both the outer fabric and lining

Center the stabilizer on the back of an outer piece with the adhesive side down

Press each section for about 10 seconds at a time without sliding the iron. Flip it over and iron the front

Repeat for the other outer piece and the upper lining pieces

Fuse the stabilizer to the pocket piece half an inch in from one of the ends

Do the same thing with the fleece interfacing for the lower lining pieces

Cut two pieces of webbing to the length you want

Mine are 50 inches long which will create a drop of 11 inches from the top of the bag to the peak of the handles

Find the center of the outer fabric measure out 3 and 1/2 inches on both sides and mark the fabric with the disappearing ink marker, chalk, or pins

This will allow seven inches between the webbing

You may want to adjust this for different sized bags

Mark, one and a half inches from the top which is where the stitching will stop

Pin the webbing so the inner edges are on the line

Starting from the bottom sew the webbing 1/8 of an inch in from the edge

Backstitch at the beginning and end of all stitching on the bag

I'm using a slightly longer stitch length of three point five millimeters for all my top stitching

Stop when you get to the one-and-a-half inch mark and pivot, sew across back and forth for extra strength

Pivot again and sew down the other side

Do the same thing for the other end of the webbing

Repeat to attach the other handle to the second outer piece

You can also use straps made out of the fabric you're using if you prefer

Fold the pocket in half with the stabilizer facing out. Sew around the sides on the edge of the stabilizer

Leave a gap of a couple inches at the bottom

Clip the corners and turn it right-side out

Center the pocket three inches down from the top of one of the lower lining pieces and pin

Sew close to the edges around the sides and bottom

Put the zipper foot on your sewing machine

Open the zipper slightly and sew back and forth above the teeth to hold the top together

Place the zipper facing up on the top edge of one of the lower lining pieces

The upper end of the zipper should be aligned with the side

Place one of the upper lining pieces on the top facing down

The edges of both lining pieces and the zipper should be aligned

Sew down the edge

I prefer to adjust as I sew but you can pin if you want

When you get to the zipper pull, lift the foot, move the pull, and continue sewing

Open the lining fold it back and top stitch

Make sure to pull back the piece on the bottom so it doesn't get out of place as you sew

Put the zipper face up on the other lower lining piece and place the upper lining piece on top facing down

Sew with all the edges lined up like before

Open and top stitch again

Fold all the layers back except for one of the upper lining pieces

Line up the edge with an outer piece with right sides facing and sew

You can switch back to your regular pressing foot

I'm using a quarter inch seam allowance here, but half an inch is also fine

Repeat for the other upper lining and outer pieces

Arrange the layers so the outer pieces are facing each other on one side and the lining pieces are on the other side

Line up the bottom edges of the outer pieces and sew with the half inch seam allowance

Sew the bottoms of the lining pieces together to

Make sure to open the zipper at this point or before sewing the bottoms

Next sew the side with the top end of the zipper

Fold the zipper in half with the edges pointing down towards the lining side

Match up the seams and pin

Sew all the way down the side with a half inch seam allowance

Arrange and pin the other side in the same way

This time stop just before getting to the teeth of the zipper

Start sewing on the other side then leave a gap of about six inches and continue sewing the rest of the side of the lining

Open one of the corners and match up the seams to form the gusset

Sew across with a half inch seam allowance

Repeat for the other corner and the lining corners. You can cut off the extra zipper at any time

And now the moment of truth. Turn the bag right side out through the opening in the lining

Poke out the gusset corners of the outer fabric

Fold in the edges of the opening and the lining and sew

You can hand stitch with an invisible stitch if you want, but since it's the lining, the machine stitching won't be very noticeable

Tuck the lining into the bag. Fold at the seam where the outer and lining fabrics meet

Top stitch all the way around

Zip it up and the tote bag is done

Make a tote bag for yourself or as a gift. I made these for my Mahjong loving aunts

You can also add interior and exterior zippers or more pockets to put your needs. Thanks for watching this OFS project

DOES STEVIA AFFECT FERTILITY? WHAT DOES THE RESEARCH SAY? - Duration: 6:30.

- Hi, guys.

Welcome back to Addictive Wellness Channel.

My name is AnnaBlanca.

- And I'm Sage.

- And today, we would love to talk about stevia.

Stevia, we love stevia.

It's an amazing sweetener.

And somehow, somewhere it got some bad rap

and we would love to clear up the misconceptions

about stevia.

Not all stevias are created equal.

This is true.

We completely agree with that.

Some of them are really, really bad products.

Unfortunately, this is a fact

because some stevias are not pure and clean,

just the Stevia.

Some companies, they mix in some maltodextrin and dextrose.

And we both know, guys, that it's made of GMO corn.

- This is a lot of those little powdered stevia packets.

- Exactly. - Those little green packets.

- So if you see it on your table and you're like,

"Ooh, stevia, I gotta put this in my coffee."

Turn it around, check out the ingredients,

and do not make this face

'cause that's what I usually do in restaurants

instead of just going,

it's okay. - No, no, no.

Usually in restaurants you go,

"This is un-friggin-believable."

(laughing)

- This is true.

He is my witness, and some of them even add saccharine which

even more unforgivable, right?

- Right. - Exactly.

So not many of them are very well-made

and the taste is also could be atrocious, I agree.

But, but...

- They're not all like this, right?

So, as she mentioned, a lot of stevia products

are not made and extracted well and so they have

a lot of bitter aftertaste in them

and it's given stevia a bad name.

People say, "Oh, I don't like stevia."

"It has that funky aftertaste."

Well, that's poorly-made stevia.

Our Stevia, for example, that we use in our chocolate

and our elixir blends is certified organic

so it's made extremely cleanly.

- They don't use those bad chemicals,

like some of them use. - Right, then there's a lot

of chemicals used in the processing

of a lot of stevias out there.

So no harsh chemicals used.

And then it tastes really nice because in stevia,

there's different compounds that give sweetness.

They're called rebaudiosides, and they're known primarily

as Reb-A, Reb-B, and Reb-C.

And Reb-A is the cleanest tasting of them all

and so if you have extractats that are higher in Reb-A,

it's gonna taste a lot better.

So that's what we use, is one that's very high in Reb-A

and doesn't have so much of the other ones.

So it gives it a very clean taste.

- It tastes better, right?

And sometimes, let's say I'm in the store

and I'm demoing our chocolate because it's one of

my favorite things to do because I would love to meet people

who are trying our chocolate for the first time.

And some people say, "Ooh, I do not like stevia."

"It leaves a bad aftertaste in my mouth."

And they taste it and they go, "Wow."

"I would've never thought that it actually"

"can taste like that."

So 2% of the people in the population,

that's what you usually tell me.

- This is our estimate from our experience.

- Estimate.

About 2% of people-- - Can taste it.

- Have a very strong sensitivity to this flavor of stevia

and just can't handle it, right?

- Yeah.

- But most other people, even a lot of people

who have written off stevia because they had a bad stevia,

can actually do great with a really clean

and good-tasting stevia, so don't give up hope.

- Don't give up on us. (laughs)

- If you think you can't handle stevia, at least try

one of our products one time to see if it's just

the stevia's you've been having that have been no good,

or if you are a stevia super-taster.

Maybe you are.

- And then you can determine, right?

- And then you can actually know.

- And there are some other things about stevia.

There are some rumors that are coming up lately, right?

- Right, so there's been rumors around for a while

about Stevia regarding its effect on fertility.

Now this goes way back to the 60's

when the study was first done in Paraguay

by a guy named Professor Kruc.

Not C-r-o-o-k, but K-r-u-c.

- Dr. Joseph Kruc and yes, his name is misleading.

His intentions were not bad.

- He is a guy with good intentions.

But here's what happened.

He gave rats such a crazy high level of stevia

that would never be reproducible in a human study

because nobody could eat that much stevia.

And of course, they ran into these problems

and he even later came out and said that it was probably

just that they were overdosing on it

and it was way too high of a dose.

And even a few years later after that, he said he thinks

there's no problems with the stevia at all

as a result of his future research.

- Yeah, he retracted.

And there was another study in 1999.

How much stevia they gave them? (laughs)

- In '99, they did a study where they were feeding stevia

to hamsters and they fed them at about

10% of body weight per day.

Now, what does this play out as if you're

looking at a human?

Well, let's say you weigh 120 pounds.

If you wanna replicate this study in your body,

you're gonna have to be prepared to eat

12 pounds of stevia per day.

You're gonna have a lot of other problems

before you run into any fertility problems.

You're just gonna...

I don't even know what would go wrong with you.

It wouldn't be fun.

You would probably never want to have a sweet thing again

in your entire life.

Now, even at that crazy high dose,

there were no fertility problems.

So it just goes to show that you will die

from too much stevia just because

your stomach explodes, probably,

before you would run into any fertility issues.

- And in 2008, the Journal of Endocrinology

and Reproduction came out with a report that

they didn't find any proof, either, that stevia would have

infertility or fertility effect at all on human.

Or in mice, on mice.

They did it on mice.

Nobody ever studied on human.

- Right, so if there's been no longterm studies on humans.

No real studies to speak of at all.

- 'Cause there was nothing but a point.

- Right. - 'Cause they couldn't even

find it in Endocrinology.

- The way these systems of studies work is that

they first have to show something in an animal model

and then they'll go through the trouble

of doing a human study-- - Exactly.

- 'cause that's much more expensive and complex to do.

So, didn't even get past an animal level,

so hopefully this helps to put these silly rumors to bed

and you guys can go help armed with this information

to straighten out the true story out there in the world.

Thanks so much for joining us, guys.

We hope you enjoyed this video.

Please give us a like or leave a comment.

with you, and we hope you enjoy it too.

Spam Museum - Austin, Minnesota - Duration: 6:11.

I hope this video doesn't get flagged for spam

*laughing*

I did NOT know you were going to say that...

that's sooo cheesy..

* Super Adventure Family intro music plays*

On our drive back from Minnesota,

we stopped by the SPAM Museum

It was SPAM-my

I mean it was filled with SPAM, but...

It was actually really cool

like going into it...

I kind of was like expecting

like, this really kind of hokey....

half of things are broken...

and weird you know

but you go in it's like super polished

it looks really nice

and there's just stacks of SPAM cans all over the place

and lots of little exhibits with videos

and things that you could like interact with

Yeah it was really cool, there was a spam rocket

there was all these little like

these four huge towers that were all made of SPAM

but it also had little

sections that had collectible items

that I guess that they've had over the years

there was like a watch and like a pocket knife and a car and

SPAM chapstick and a little bear with a SPAM shirt on!

And all this really fun stuff

They have one area where you could like pack a SPAM can

and you go through the little stations

and stuff like that

see how fast you can do it

yeah it would like time you

And we even raced!

it was cool it wasn't real SPAM

was like a little bean bag thing yeah

and they were even walking around giving out samples,

I don't remember what the sample was that they gave us

but it was pretty good

They had a section where it was SPAM around the world

and it was how all of the

different countries packaged spam

and what they use it for like what recipes

are common there so they have like one from Japan it was like sushi

I think they call it something specific but I'm sorry I don't know it

and they had like from Guam and Brit....

Britian

brit... brittish

Great Britian

*laughing*

*Mario dying music playing*

*more laughing*

We're real classy at the SPAM museum

They had a motorcycle there, what did it run on?

It ran on...

like

bacon? or something?

it said like..

it said like bio diesel

like bacon grease like biodiesel

yeah... or something like that

we'll have to look at the pictures...

it was really cool!

I was like why is there.. is there like a SPAM motorcycle????

There was a huge sign next to it that said what it did

yeah

I think my favorite part was on the

ceiling throughout all the whole place

it was... it looked like a train track like

a little miniature train track but instead of a train it was

SPAM

CANS and CANS of SPAM

and they're all going around

all the different rooms of the place

That was really cool

I guess it was like every kind they've ever made

* upbeat music playing*

They had a lot of interesting stuff at the gift shop

it was probably one of the coolest gift shops I've seen in awhile

They had a hockey jersey that I kinda wanted to get...

It was a hockey jersey that said SPAM on it

I didn't get it cuz I'm not like a super SPAM fan...

I can justify spending the money on it

yeah but I did get this shirt

which is pretty cool

and we got a bunch of stuff for my dad

because when I was growing up my dad loved SPAM

he still likes SPAM so we got him a few things

but they had like so much stuff!

I mean if you like went like

it was insane I think that is a spam windshield scraper

yeah and I got spam chapstick

they had SPAM magnets

They had SPAM post card

um well we got Elliott a little SPAM

it's like a little car that shaped like a can of SPAM yeah

shaped like a SPAM.. spam can and then they had like little SPAM teddy bears

and things like that

So by far surpassed our expectations and

if you're ever in Iowa you should go check it out yeah definitely stop by

Well worth the visit

Ohhh hooo

are we done?

yeah we're done!

7 Interesting Facts About DARTH VADER You May Not Know - Duration: 4:40.

Hey everybody and welcome to Leia's Lair.

In this episode, I will be going over 7 interesting facts you might not know about Darth Vader.

If you are enjoying the videos, please give them a like, share and subscribe to the channel

so I can continue making them for you.

Number 1: He returned to Mustafar to create his red lightsaber

After his lightsaber was taken by Obi-wan on Mustafar, Vader is forced to make a new

one.

He does so by finding a Jedi who survived Order 66 and destroying them.

He then takes the crystal from the fallen Jedi's lightsaber and corrupts it on Mustafar,

giving it the signature red color.

Mustafar is an appropriate choice for this, as the dark side of the force has a strong

presence on the planet.

Number 2: He remembered C-3PO on cloud city

Because this was not shown in the movies, many people wondered how Vader did not recognize

the droid he had created as a child.

Well, it turns out he did!

While on Cloud City in the Empire Strikes Back, Vader is actually given the pieces of

C-3PO after the droid is blasted.

The droid brings back the memories he had building him and because of this, he orders

the pieces to be given to Chewie to fix, rather than being destroyed.

Number 3: Many of his bones were replaced after his near fatal duel on Mustafar

After his defeat on Mustafar, Vader did not only lose most of his limbs, and receive severe

burns, he also had many of his bones greatly damaged as well.

The reconstruction of his body after this was extensive, making him "more machine

now than man".

That being said, the machine wasn't just the helmet and suit around him, but also extended

to the artificial elements in his bones and beneath his burnt and scarred skin.

Number 4: It was Boba Fett who revealed to him that Luke was his son

During the time after the destruction of the Death Star, Vader becomes obsessed with finding

the rebel pilot responsible, as he could sense they were force sensitive.

He ends up sending bounty hunters out to find him.

One such bounty hunter is Boba Fett, who eventually finds Luke and discovers his last name to

be Skywalker.

This makes Vader realize that Padme gave birth, and sets up the events in Episode 5.

Number 5: His Suit gives him superhuman strength

The suit that Vader wears actually provides him with augmented strength.

This can be seen in Episode 4, when he lifts a fully-grown man off the ground with one

arm.

The armor is actually interlaced with impulse generators which stimulate his muscles, increasing

his strength and agility.

Furthermore, he can adjust the pistons in his forearms to give him even more strength.

Number 6: He was originally acted and voiced by 4 different people

In the original trilogy, Darth Vader is actually played by four different men.

David Prowse was the man inside the suit.

However, his Bristol accent was not exactly what the crew were looking for, leading to

James Earl Jones being casted as the iconic voice of the character.

"No...

I am your father."

Third there was Sebastian Shaw, who was the man behind the mask in Episode 6, and who

appeared as Anakin's force ghost.

Finally, there was Bob Anderson, who acted as Vader during lightsaber battles.

Number 7: He makes an appearance in all the Star Wars Trilogies, as well as Rogue 1

While new villains have been introduced throughout the trilogies, the role and the influence

of Darth Vader was irreplaceable.

So much so, that even in the latest trilogy, his melted helmet appears in Episode 7.

"And I will finish...

What you started."

Vader also makes a bone-chilling appearance in the anthology film Rogue One.

And that's it!

Thanks for watching everyone!

What did you think about these Darth Vader facts?

Do you know any other interesting facts about him?

3 Things You MUST Give Up To Experience "The SHIFT" In Consciousness - Duration: 19:52.

this video I'm gonna be sharing with you the three things you must give up to

experience the shift in consciousness these are gonna be things that if you

start to give up will radically transform your life welcome back to

another video my name is Erin and I hope people expand their consciousness now in

this video I'm gonna be sharing with you those three things you must give up to

experience the shift in consciousness and when I say the shift in

consciousness this is something that is going to help you to see things from a

higher perspective from a new way of being think of it like your whole entire

life you may have been living in reaction to your environment you may

have been living at the effect of everything that's happening you may have

been living from a perspective of always wanting more of things not being good

the way they are now but feeling like you're not enough you may have been

living your life like that however when you experience the shift that shift in

consciousness everything begins to change now the truth is is this is

within you right now it's just a matter of becoming aware of it and starting to

live from this centered part of you so just to give this a little bit of

context the shift experience is something that I'm creating right now

the shift experience is also a metaphor for understanding how to create a shift

in consciousness for yourself however the shift experience is also

that of a program that I'm currently creating as well as a movement that I am

creating and I'll be going around the world doing going on tour speaking about

this and doing workshops on it if you want to be the first to know about when

the shift experience goes live you'll see a link in the top of the description

box below and it's something that I think is going to help a lot of people

to shift into a higher level of consciousness now let me first off say

that shifting consciousness does not have to mean that we become enlightened

although there are some aspects of it that are enlightening

it is about understanding who we really are at a fundamental level because even

people that are enlightened will tell you that it's not so much that you can

attain enlightenment because once again if we want to attain something it means

that we're trying to become and go somewhere that we're not

when enlightenment is actually about more being here in the present moment

however just to give this a little bit of context back about before 2012 that

was when I went through a spiritual awakening and I started to experience

the shift in consciousness I used to feel a lot of resistance because of my

past a lot of resistance because of the way identified myself the labels that I

had and then what happened as I started to simply observe my thoughts I remember

that I simply decided I was gonna learn meditation because where I was I just

knew that meditation could help me because I had at the time was called a

ADHD I was taking adderall for it read up online and found the benefits of

doing meditation saw that it would pretty much give me the results that I

wanted without the harsh side effects of adderall which is the prescription I was

taken at the time and then that drove me to learn meditation I learned meditation

within two or three days my life started to change I started to feel completely

different I remember that within what I'm about to share with you when I was

walking around my room about a week later I remember walking around thinking

is this too good to be true I felt on average about a majority the time before

the shift in consciousness I felt at about a three to a five out of ten and

then what happened is I learned how to observe my thoughts I learned how my

beliefs were creating my reality I learned how to become more present to

the moment and to say yes to the present moment and then all of a sudden I feel

like I'm at a majority of the time about a 7 or an 8 out of 10 I felt really good

and I thought that feeling is gonna go away never went away it just became my

natural setpoint now of course it still fluctuates I get frustrated it's so

Bob's down a little bit but the emotions the negative emotions I feel now are

much higher than that of the positive emotions I would feel back in the day so

this is about raising the vibration raising our vibrational state of

consciousness understanding that we are not just the ego we live our whole life

normally ego and because of that we experience

more and more from that paradigm from the paradigm of things happening to us

and that is when the shift begins to happen so the first thing you must give

up to experience this shift in consciousness is your story and beliefs

that don't serve you your story and your beliefs that don't serve you I used to

have a story and even now I explain this story so that ever people have a

reference experience that they can also go through a similar thing but some

people see me and what I'm talking about you know I used to be quote/unquote the

victim I used to be at the effect of everything else because between the ages

of 7 to 15 I had an abusive ex stepmom in my life and she's someone that has

borderline personality disorder she'd be very angry my dad's a firefighter so he

was gone 24 hours a day so me and my brother were left alone with her a lot

of the time she brainwashed us into not liking our mom so we wouldn't say her

mom might often then it was like me and my brother were just allowed to work

outside all day a lot of times we weren't allowed in the house if we were

we were all we would do is we eat a bowl of cereal and then we'd eat a TV dinner

at night we weren't allowed to watch TV if we wanted to watch TV we had to sneak

in the house one of us would have the remote and would be have the channel the

remote on the button for last so that if somebody came home we could put it back

to the last Channel turn off the TV run outside pretend like we were outside the

whole time so that was the only time we were allowed to watch TV we did a sneek

watching TV we weren't allowed to eat very much

it was just we weren't allowed to go to great we had to earn going to school we

got in trouble we weren't allowed to go to school activities like band camp or

something like forensics debate tournaments so it was until 15 years old

then my dad divorced her and even after he divorced her all the sudden my

brother have all this freedom we're allowed to have friends we're allowed to

eat what we want we're allowed to like do normal stuff like watch TV and stuff

like that and even after that though five or six years after that I still

felt a lot of resistance I still felt like why did this all happen I still

felt like I wasn't worthy and consequently enough I kept attracting

people in my life that represented my ex stepmom who was a very angry person I

had a manager later on that was the same type of personality she would talk down

to people she was protected by upper management so she was able to do that

it took years for her to you fired but you want to know when she got fired she

got fired within a week of me learning this kind of meditation it's not even a

meditation this shifting consciousness maybe becoming aware of my old story and

becoming at peace with it and letting it go because eventually the pain from that

old story led me to then becoming more present to the moment and seeing that it

led to my spiritual awakening so I was able to refrain all of that stuff that

happened in the past way I was able to reframe it and when I refrained it

that's when everything began to change but I had to let go of the story and the

attachment I had to what happened to me because I had this whole narrative in my

mind that this stuff is happening to me I was at the victim I was at the effect

of everything that was happening at the time as well when I went through that

shift in consciousness I had a belief and the belief that I had was that there

was something wrong with me because I was identified as someone that had ADHD

I went to a doctor they gave me adderall took that because I had a lot of energy

and then what happened was as I felt resistance because I was like why do I

have this and I felt like I needed adderall in order to focus at work and I

worked at Nordstrom's and women's shoes so it was like commission based job so I

would take the adderall and make a lot of money but then I would crash and I

couldn't sneak very much couldn't eat very much it felt horrible so what I

eventually realized is that I identified myself and thought of myself and thought

it was a negative thing to have a lot of energy i reframed that i reframed that

story and when i reframed that story i started to let go and i started to see

that instead what I could do is I could start to just balance out my energy

every day so I got a house that has grass over there I live in Vegas there's

not much grass and backyards believe it or not in Vegas mainly is dirt so I

actually have a house with grass so I can ground myself every day so that I

can meditate as well I meditate 2 times a day that's what I do now and I

reframed that of the way I view myself and I realized when I started to observe

my thoughts not control them but observe them I started to become aware of all

the stories I had about every different subject of my life I had a story about

money the way money works I believed that money was evil for a long time

because of the way that money isn't backed by gold and because thinking that

there were major corporation cuz money is

corporation all of this stuff but that story didn't serve me so I became aware

of the story and I decided to let it go I decided to change my narrative about

it same thing when it comes to

relationships I had a certain way of heat relationships because I saw my dad

go through two divorces and because of that it was a certain narrative I had

about that when I had to learn to do was to observe that and then let that go and

to see that then that did not have to be my reality you know that was something

that really transformed my own life is because I realized that beliefs create

reality that everything on the outside is a reflection of the inside so when I

became aware of the stories wasn't that I resisted the story it was more so that

I allowed the story to be there and as I allowed it to be there and I allowed

myself to feel the emotions that came up it then started to dissipate the power

over in the present moment started to dissipate oh I am the way I am because

of my past that is about understanding that you are who you choose to be in the

present moment the only time your past has power over you is if you haven't

completed it yet meaning you haven't felt the emotions of

what happened the emotions have been suppressed then what you do is you bring

those emotions up you relive that experience or what you do is you just

let go of it you understand it you see that it served you you're able to

reframe it and then you're able to let it go so that's when things really begin

to change if I can share with you one belief that if you change can totally

change your life it would be simply know that you can shift from victim mentality

and to understanding that you create your own reality from your beliefs that

would be the main change because if the world is happening to you there's not

much power but if you shift into being present to the moment understanding that

you have the power based on the beliefs and the meaning you give things in life

that's where everything begins to change now the second thing you must give up in

order to experience this shift in consciousness is the egos attachment to

being right here is the truth about reality reality is a reflection of what

we believe it to be now normally we think that our beliefs that our notions

about life is in a certain way that it is a certain framework to it that

framework is based on reference experiences or it's based on concepts

but here's the thing we've never actually

the concept we've only experienced something but a lot of times we have

these attachments to quote unquote what happened for example maybe when you were

six or seven years old you experienced what you thought was a social trauma you

went and you peed your class you peed your pants in front of class for example

you experienced the social trauma that's what you tell yourself for years and

years and years and the ego is so attached to it here's the truth of the

matter that though you never actually experienced a social trauma a social

trauma is just a concept on the mind it's just a concept it's an idea all

that happened is you had an experience where you peed your pants

anything that else that we tagged on to that is going to be the story it's going

to be the weight it's going to be what causes the person to feel resistance in

the present moment right now even though that may have happened 20-30 years ago

so this is about being aware of the attachment we have to the egos

perspectives also understand that the ego wants to be right this is not about

becoming right this is about understanding that anything we believe

to be true is reflected back to us so whatever evidence we look for we will

find evidence of that this isn't about what is right this is about what is

efficient what is working so instead of asking that question what is true what

is untrue understand that all truths are true meaning whatever somebody believes

to be true will always be reflected back to them that's why some people may have

a certain belief some people may have a different belief and both people could

be right depending upon the perspective that you look from so it's about

understanding this is never a question of what is true or untrue this is a

question about what is efficient for you it's a question about what is working

for you does it work is it efficient because if it's not efficient if it's

not working then maybe you choose to let it go but understand that the ego always

wants to be right you see the shifted consciousness is when we go from the ego

to the higher self and when we go to and make that shift everything changes the

ego always wants more the ego is identified with the past the ego wants

to be right most people have walked around their whole entire life trying to

be right trying to justify where they are trying to keep the same tapes

playing over and over again they Eidos job is to keep you to survive

that's it the ego just wants to survive and most people have been living their

whole entire life as the ego even as I speak right now if you might be asking

yourself how does this apply to me what does this all mean the me that you're

trying to figure it out from maybe the ego

and what I mean what I'm encouraging you to do is to be aware of it and then make

the choice to observe that you move from the ability to go into the observation

mode when you go into the observation mode everything begins to change because

you move from the seat of the ego from everything's happening to me - what does

all this mean what can I get all out of all of this if there's being present to

the moment whatever you get from this video you get that's it it doesn't have

to be it doesn't have to be something that is put on a pedestal doesn't have

to be something that has to be figured out right now just absorb the

information you see a shift in consciousness is about understanding

your ego not in a negative way not like you know the egos bad deal is horrible

just be aware that it's one aspect it's the part of you it's the avatar it's

part of your life experience at a higher level of consciousness you are

unconditional love and bliss that is who you are but when we come to earth when

we incarnate what happens is we have these experiences where we identify with

what's happening we have these experiences that lower our vibrational

frequency we have these experiences of that of social conditioning and that

Boggs's down into a level of consciousness to where then things are

happening to us we identify with this reaction mode we identify with being at

the effect and then we go around thinking that that's the way the world

is you see the shift in consciousness is about going from buying in and agreeing

to the notions and the beliefs about reality that you have adopted and then

simply deciding that you are going to make your own how do you relate to life

not how does everyone else relate to life and how about how did you learn

about how do you relate to life reality is what you believe to be true reality

is just a reflection and the more we realize how valuable life is the

malleable life will become so it's about having that awareness now the third

thing you must do to experience the shift in consciousness it's to move from

having and doing in to being have to be these are the three things normally what

people think is once I can have something then I can do something then I

can be something or once I can do something then I can have something then

I can be something and we all have it all mixed up we think that's the way

reality works in actuality it works the other way around you must first be the

way you prefer to be and be present to the moment then you can have and do that

what you want so this is just about turning that around because this is the

difference if we flip that around the ego wants to do and have the ego says I

want to do this I want to I want to have this and the ego is then trying to do it

and if you're trying to do it you aren't emphasizing that you are not

currently there and in that emphasizing that you feel resistance you are also

saying no to the present moment because if you want to have or do something you

are saying that over there is better than over here now the key is saying yes

to the present moment and choosing to first off be in the present moment and

then be the way that you prefer in the present moment right now and then you

can have and do whatever you want but we must flip the script this isn't

necessarily just that a fake it till you make it or act as if although it could

be but it's saying yes to the present moment as well it is not resisting the

present moment if you don't have a lot of money in your life and you want more

money do not try to have or do in order to get there say yes to whatever you've

currently created say yes to it and as you say yes to whatever you've created

you can be present to the moments and then you can be the way that you prefer

it's just one extra step the extra step is saying yes to the present moment

absorbing the present moment being and when you are being the way you prefer to

be that's where things begin to change I could say I want to have 1 million

followers and subscribers on social media I want to be I want to have that I

want to do it travel the world and speak now those might be desires I have but I

must first be that which I prefer to be I must first in soak in the moment say

yes to what is right now make daily videos because that version of me is

that what I am doing and embody the present moment right now and the more I

focused on on body and saying yes to this moment the more those things will

come anyways it's a paradox but understand that the more you give up and

you let go of trying to have and trying to do and instead you just are you

always given life a reflection of who you are that's when things in your life

will begin to change in a very powerful way so the three things you must give up

to experience this shift in consciousness is your story

identification to the past understanding your beliefs create your reality let go

of what beliefs don't serve you secondly understand your ego your egos

perspective trying to understand it all your egos perspective of always wanting

to be right the only prerogative of your ego is to

survive be aware of that then make the shift into a new way of being connected

to the higher self and then you can let go of having of doing and you can be be

who you are enlightenment is not an attainment it is

a realization everything life in your life is what you believe it to be

everything in your life has only the meaning that you give it this is the

shift this is the shift in consciousness if you want to experience the shift that

is coming go ahead and you'll see the link in the top of the description box

DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DEAF YOUTUBER | VLOG | JoelinelifeVlogs - Duration: 11:38.

Hi welcome to my channel, so today I'm gonna go do some things

Umm I have to go to King Soopers

And then come home that's pretty much it

so I'm not gonna glam up or anything I have a jacket and a scarf

umm and that's it

So, um

what was I gonna say oh so

I wanna go to King Soopers which is a food store

So, um, I wanna go and try the

before I was rudely interrupted no I'm just joking

so umm

what I was saying

so what I was saying about keto

I have downloaded keto diet app

I was like hmm I'm wondering if I wanna try that diet

so I'm gonna go to the store

and get a few things to make umm yeah to get a few things to make that are, keto diet friendly

but

I'm not sure if I'm gonna follow through it

which is fine so I'm just gonna get a few things and try it out and see if I like it

if I do then cool

but

umm

so yea I'm gonna go to the store plus I'm gonna make hamburgers for dinner tonight

and then

starting Monday I think I will do the keto diet

umm yeah I will see you soon

Just got home and I thought I'll go ahead and show you what I got like a grocery haul

so this is from Target King Soopers and Lowe's

I will show you in a minute and I'm just gonna take this off

hold on

much better

Oh, it was cold this morning but now it's not too bad

so let's see

I got some

beef and cheese

cheeses

for

for this

so I wanna mix it like a umm breakfast sausage balls with cheese and eggs and then sausage

so that's what I'm gonna make probably

Monday

So we'll see if it's good or not

tortillas

for the hamburgers tonight. I don't know what it's called, but it is almost like from

Taco Bell that it have meat inside and then so tortillas you can fold it. I don't know. I will show you tonight

how I'm gonna make it. I've never had it before

oh yeah and cheese for the hamburgers

hot sauce

is that, yeah I wanted to make sure it's the original one

oh yeah, forgot about this I'm gonna try this umm

The ones that are like really expensive the crest

umm they have this

same ingredients

let me show you it's right here

Almost the same thing so I'm like this is cheaper so we'll see

You know what, I mean tho like I always tend to look at the ingredients

and then compared the expensive one and then the cheap one, so yea

french fries

to umm to go with the hambugers tonight

and then I had to get coffee creamer

at Lowe's I got this

TMI I know

but the it's for my bathroom sink it's plugged up so

I had to buy and hopefully it would work also we use baking soda vinegar and

Hot water probably from my coffee or a boiling water in the pan I don't know but it has to be really hot

okay, so I'm here at the

auto dealership

and drop off my boyfriend so he can go pick up his car

umm

So

it's frustrating because

He had to drop off

He had an appointment at 9:45 and then after that

they said it will take about an hour and a half to get him in okay that's fine so by the time they get him in

I don't know

it should have been done by noon

But luckily he decided to take Uber home

and so it's a good thing because they just now finished at five

so I ask him were they busy this morning he goes no they were not busy

so but he made an appointment the night before

so whatever

umm it's currently 5:30

I'm just waiting for him to come out and say yes he already paid and then I'm gonna go home

and then he'll my home too

he uh got a day off today because umm

it was too cold to go to work

so I'm glad he had the day off because if I had to drive his car which

was the plan he'd take this car to work and I take his car here

I would have been I've been here all day

unless

I had an idea or if my boyfriend told me to take Uber home if I was still there

and also if I did took Uber home he would get home around 6

then we would come here and they close at 6 I dunno if that makes any sense

it makes sense to me so like ugh

I'm glad it's over I hope

I think so once he comes out and already paid then that means it's over we're go home and

forget about it

we were in the highway coming home from his mom's house on Christmas day

and he was driving and something hit his car

so like where the headlight is I think underneath I'm not sure

but from another car and it hit our car, his car and so

He just needed to get that replace that was it so I don't know why it took all day just to get that replace

they said it was an easy fix

whatever

I can't wait to get home

and once I get home I'm going to make dinner

not much tonight not too much

he'll probablly play his video game

and I'll be on the computer

probably wanna edit this video

if not I'll just watch YouTube

so we're home now my boyfriend got his car

and then we came home made dinner

this is a mess I know

I'm doing laundry right now

and this is my dresser

that's it for today's vlog

thank you so much for watching

if you liked it please give it a thumbs up

subscribe and click the bell so you'll be notified when I post a new video

thanks so much for watching I'll see you in the next one

bye

Human Resource Management 14 International HRM - Duration: 3:41.

Hello, this is the "How Would You Handle This Situation" for our chapter on

International HRM. In this situation, you have been charged with the task of

getting a visa for one of your employees who needs to leave for China in a month.

And, as we discussed in this chapter, it can often take a lot longer to get a

visa than a month, and this is kind of where the problem lies within this

scenario. The other problem is that your manager has demanded that you go ahead

and get a tourist visa for this employee a s opposed to a work visa. Now, in China

and most other countries, it would obviously be illegal to use a tourist

visa if you're actually going to be working in another country. And, of course,

this is the case there; that you cannot use a tourist visa in China if you are

actually going to be working there. You need a different kind of visa for that.

So, you have a few options here. The first option that comes to mind is to look at

where the Chinese Embassy is located and possibly fly the employee there and

see if he or she might be able to get a visa a lot quicker if it is in person.

Obviously, you would want to do your research ahead of time before taking

this option. Although the cost is really expensive possibly to fly there, it is

probably a lot less expensive than your employee being fined and possibly even

detained in China as a result of not having the correct visa. So that would be

one option. The second option would be, and probably either way you would want

to do this, is to just tell your manager that you are not able to do this. It is

both illegal and unethical, and of course these types of actions could put the

employee in jail, and could put him or her in harm's way. So, I think in this case

even though it's your manager acting or requesting it, it's really

not a good idea to go ahead and do this. So, you can look at the Chinese Embassy

option. You may want to... before you tell your supervisor that you can't do this,

you may want to research what the fines would be. And, the fines are likely going

to be more expensive than trying to expedite that visa, so you may be able to

share that information with her, the costs associated with it to get her to

see your way that you really need to wait and go through the correct protocol

in order to go ahead and get this visa. Again, most countries will have some

options for expediting visas. Of course they may be a little bit more expensive

but that would be another option. Finally, the last option is to really look at

this employee's assignment and is it really that necessary that the employee

get there within the month. Maybe the same things could be accomplished using

a variety of forms of technology and that may be a more cost

efficient way anyway than sending that employee to the other country. Otherwise

it's probably best to just wait until you can ultimately get a visa. And that's

how I would handle this

Creating Authentic Community - Duration: 1:09.

I'm reading a great book by Chip Ingram right now and he describes what authentic community

looks like you know what an authentic community is it's real people with real problems that

share the real self who who they are to help each other with their real problems to live

a real life together that's what authentic community is you know what guys that's what

we are that's what we are we're an authentic community and the only reason you may not

be experiencing is because maybe you haven't let people see the real you we can't solve

a real you and meet a real you's needs if we don't see the real you if we see a fake

you I can't help a fake you because a fake you is a Facebook you right if all's I see

is the Facebook you then everything looks good I can't help that person I can't and

you can't help me when I'm the Facebook Bill but the real me has hurts and needs just like

the real you and when I share those and you share those then the real us gets to help

the real each other to create real needs and meet those needs with real solutions and you

know what real solutions often look like time I got to spend time with you I got to give

up my time to be with you

For Clarity, Be Redundant, Not Repetitive - Duration: 11:24.

Hi there!. We are heading into I believe it's the year of the goat, in the

Chinese zodiac which starts in February. It's gonna be an awesome year! So I

wanted to share with you something that I saw happening over the holidays with

my family, because I think it's so relatable to the...oh shall we say the

challenges in being understood. So if you've ever felt like you're trying to

explain, you really are, you feel like you're being really clear, and other

people just aren't getting it. Well maybe this tip could be useful. So picture this,

I was at a table with my family and the conversation was around the

holiday schedule for next year. You know if you're like me maybe your

spouse and your in-laws live far away from you and your family, and every year

at holiday season in planning Thanksgiving, Christmas, and you know

everything in between, it's you know, a negotiation of where we're gonna meet.

And there are all sorts of limiting factors like who's working when, and who

hosted this time who wants to host next time, and travel plans and kids schedules

and all that. And so every year at least in my family up to recently it has been

a you know renegotiating, we don't really have a set plan yet of where the

Thanksgiving is going to happen, or where Christmas dinner will be, or where New

Year's Eve celebration will be. And that means every year about 9 people

are involved was negotiating what we're doing this year. And a lot of times

there's a sense of well I don't know, you know can't decide till we know, and that

means that everything is waiting like a nail biting thing to the last minute. Ahh!

And it's unnecessary stress. So I'll just fill you in on what's happened with my

family. My two sister-in-laws live far away in Florida, and there's been always

a little bit of confusion on why we can't all

meet for Thanksgiving here in Atlanta. My husband would love to host Atlanta

because here we have a changing of the seasons, we have the space, and we'd love

to have family visiting here. Why can't this happen? And obtain the out there's

always spend a little bit of vagueness and understanding between the three

siblings of my husband and my two sister-in-laws of why Thanksgiving can't

happen here. And basically one of my sister-in-law's husband works in a

hospital and the other sister-in-law works in a corporate job. And so

sometimes the two sisters are trading off but the end story is why

can't Thanksgiving, why can't we all be together for Thanksgiving, and which my

sister-in-law husband always says "because I have to work". He works in a

hospital. To which everyone else is always baffled, you know this a year in

advance? You know I mean my goodness can't you get the day off, and and if you

don't get the day off why is that? Is it because you don't want to have

Thanksgiving with everyone? To which he replies and he's getting more irate, you

all do what you want, I'm telling you I already know pretty much a year in

advance that I will be working on Thanksgiving. I work in a hospital. To

which everyone else continues to be baffled, why can't you get the day off? I

mean my goodness you've got a year in advance to put in the notice, you know

most people can choose the holidays. And he's he says again, I can't

do it because I have to work on Thanksgiving. And you can hear everyone

else getting baffled. So this is an excellent example of when people are

repeating themselves, being very clear, they think they're being really clear,

you know he's saying pretty clearly, I can't take Thanksgiving off I've got to

work, right, pretty straightforward. And everyone else hears him and here's the

same reaction, why do you know this a

year in advance, right, I mean most people can put in for the time off more

than a year in advance. And there's this constant confusion and bafflement on both

sides, you can hear the stress rising, and he is saying look I don't want to stop

you guys, go ahead and have Thanksgiving wherever you want it, I'm totally fine,

I'm telling you I have to work on Thanksgiving. So this conversation

repeated in front of me at least half a dozen times this year. It repeats every

year at least ten times throughout the year because it's the same conversation

that happens in January, February, March, April as we get closer and closer to the

holidays. It's the same why can't you get the time off..I have to work...and everyone

says what can't you get the time off, and he says I'm working on the holiday

because I work in a hospital. And everyone is stressed and confused! How

many of you have related to this? I'll tell you what's happening, people are

repeating themselves and being very clear and being very emotional, and they

think they're saying what they mean, let me tell you the crux of the matter that

finally came in this time, because this is making both sister-in-laws upset, my

mother-in-law was confused, everyone is looking at this one person saying why

can't you get the time off, and he's getting more upset saying look I'm

working bla bla bla bla!! What he was trying to say, and nobody had a clue,

although he thought he said it, in certain hospital positions you don't get

to pick and choose which holiday you get off, it's bucket A of holidays or bucket

B of holidays. Meaning hospital split, you can either have Thanksgiving off with a

bunch of holidays, or you can have Christmas off with a bunch of other

holidays, but you can't have both. And what he was trying to say was I've

picked Christmas, I want to be with my family on Christmas, so I picked bucket B

of holidays. That means I will always and forever probably be

working on Thanksgiving. That nuance never got explained instead everyone was

repeating themselves over and over, getting more upset because he feels

like he's conveyed and communicated something that never quite got across to

everyone. and because once it got over the basically we were able to pull out

why sometimes when you ask people why they get more defensive I told you I'm

always needs to work I'm thinking I work in a hospital in there you can feel the

emotionality right we were able to tease out of him

what he was trying to say is I really want Christmas I have to pick and choose

between bucket and bucket B and if he was also trying to say I don't want to

stop you guys right and people here didn't quite hear that part. It felt like

well what's wrong with you? Once we were able to tease out this nuance that he

really didn't have a choice, it's bucket eight or bucket B, then people said oh,

and he said I've been trying to tell you, and everyone else was like baffled like

this is the first we've heard of this in three years. And so this is what I want

to encourage you all...there is a difference between repeating yourself,

and being redundant. If you feel like you're trying to explain your position

whether it's folks go ahead and have Thanksgiving without me, I don't want to

stop you, right, I mean I can totally understand that, or if it's look I don't

get a choice, you all seem to think I can pick, and you know if you're

saying the same things over and over and people still aren't understanding, try

redundancy, say the same thing a different way. And what I observed is a

lot of times when there are these constant log jams of communication,

what's happening with me, my family and my clients, people are repeating

themselves quite clearly, they feel like they're being very clear,

but it's missing something in the translation. Either the listener is

assuming something, you know we're not quite hearing him because

he said the same thing over and over, and we're assuming all this must mean you

know who knows maybe he doesn't want to be with us, or whatever, or we really

don't want to have holidays without you, right, like we're not able to hear the

speakers try to say exactly what it means.

Try redundancy, say the same thing a boatload of different ways, and

you're going to have a better shot of clearing up the communication logjam

that's repeating yourself. This is very common with empaths

and people who think they have said something. They think they've said for

example , no. Someone asks can you do something for me, and this person really

thinks they're saying...well you know, I don't know, it depends, and they

think they said no, but they didn't, right? Say that same thing different ways. You

know sometimes people think it's up to the speaker to be clear, and

sometimes people think it's to the listener to listen clearly. It's both! If

there is a log jam and you're the speaker, say the same thing different

ways, because the tendency is to say I said it once, I've said it a hundred times...

you said it once but people hear differently, and if you assume everyone

listens the way you do, that ain't gonna work. Or you try to listen and you had a

bunch of assumptions about what's going on, you know you should be able to

reschedule 364 days in advance, no that's not the way it works, because none of us

work in a hospital, we didn't know, right. Things are much more nuanced than we

think. So this is a little long round about way of saying if you notice you're

having these communication log jams, try saying the same thing a different way.

Use different words, different analogies, we finally understood the concept of

bucket A and bucket B of holidays and oh my god it made such a difference, now we get it.

We can strategize what we want to do now. OK? So hope you guys are having an

awesome holiday season, you know, this is a time for celebration,

Is it Safe to Detox While Pregnant and/or Breastfeeding? | "Ask the Doc" with Dr. Daniel Nuzum - Duration: 3:59.

Jonathan Hunsaker: Hey, breastfeeding moms out there, make sure you watch this video.

We're going to talk about whether or not you should detox while you're breastfeeding.

Stay tuned.

Dr. Daniel Nuzum: Is detox safe during pregnancy?

No.

I will elaborate as to why detox is not safe during pregnancy,

and that comes down to one basic principle.

If you are detoxifying and you're pregnant, there is risk of circulating toxins that are

safely stuck away in tissues and won't get near that baby.

And what we don't want to do is start detoxifying if you're pregnant and doing some sort of

detox where we unleash toxins that are safely tucked away somewhere, in some tissue somewhere,

and circulate that through your bloodstream, where that blood may come in contact with a baby.

We don't want to do that.

What you can do while you're pregnant is green foods, green juices, things like that, things—

what you want to do is maximize your nutrition.

And by maximizing your nutrition, you're naturally, as you take in all the good stuff,

you're naturally going to force out a lot of bad stuff.

It's very, very simple.

As the good comes in, the bad's going to go out.

Doing a focused or targeted detox while you're pregnant is not safe.

Do not do that.

We do not recommend that.

I don't recommend that.

I don't have patients do that.

So, no, detoxing while you're pregnant is not, is not safe, is not recommended.

But what you can do is improve your nutrition.

Get good nutrients, get a good multivitamin, get green foods in your system.

Flood your system with as many nutrients as possible.

You want to have as much raw material available to build a nice, healthy baby as possible.

And the more raw material that you have available, the better off you, as the mother,

will be afterwards, after the baby's born.

You will be healthier, you'll have more reserves.

Should a woman detox while breastfeeding?

The answer on that one is also no. No.

Again, we don't want to recirculate toxins throughout the system while you're breastfeeding the baby.

While breastfeeding, you want to maximize your nutrition, maximize your nutrition.

Good, full-spectrum multivitamin get your minerals, green foods in particular,

those are the things that are going to support you

and maximize your nutrition so you have the best, best milk you can give that baby.

Again, no detoxing while breastfeeding, because we don't want to recirculate any toxins that

are hid away in your body somewhere and expose that baby to any toxins.

We don't want to—babies are already born with enough toxins from the environment.

We don't need to expose them to any others.

So, no detoxing while pregnant or while breastfeeding.

But maximize your nutrition, get as good healthy multivitamins, even probiotics.

Very, very, very healthy, very helpful for breastfeeding women.

Also, green foods, green foods, green foods, green foods.

You can't get enough green foods.

So, I hope that answers your question.

Jonathan Hunsaker: Well, there you have it.
