Grinder Safety -- and lies you are told to scare you. - Duration: 11:03.

okay I'm going to talk about something you've never heard me talk about before

it's Grindr safety okay winders are dangerous things but here's

the deal for the last 350,000 years our DNA has been making us very aware of

everything that's dangerous around us the problem is nowadays we have

everybody that likes to tell us that a corporation's will tell you hey if you

see something dangerous war on these people yeah but general public just

doesn't need that okay because general public is paranoid enough as it is so

there's no sense of being irrationally scared of things that aren't that

dangerous okay I run grinders without any guards because that's the way I like

doing it there's a few things if you if you're just completely new to these let

me give you some hints here okay they will remove fingers they will open up

the flesh and a heartbeat if you lock one on and some of mine have the ability

to lock them on now they've done away with that but I still love those I love

locking the blade on because I can lock it on and then I can actually position

the grinder and it hard to get to place and it keeps running without me having a

finger over the trigger so for me I do lots of things you know there's a lot of

people that go skydiving and if he ever seen that close-proximity wingsuit

flying

okay it's all there's things in life that are dangerous okay just don't back

away from them because you've never tried them and somebody's convinced you

that it's just dangerous it's not most people exaggerate this completely I'll

give you an example here here's some pictures they were posted up on my

Facebook page by a friend of mine who I admire and adored greatly and they're

not a bad theme it's like you know don't do something stupid with a grinder

that's the theme here but the problem is so many of us are so overreaction Airy

to this stuff we think all you know is this don't let Bobby have a grinder he's

like you know if Bobby cuts himself worse things gonna be as a soft tissue

damage he might lose a finger at worse you know we need these experiences to

grow up in life some of us so it's like it's okay let me tell you some things

just don't do right if the one I always see is on that on this on these videos

is somebody's cutting with a grinder like this and their face is in the plane

of rotation first off there's a lot of hints there if all those sparks hitting

you in the face that's called a clue that you shouldn't

have your face in this line of rotation or any other body part for that matter

the other thing that happens with these discs because people use them like

grinding discs they press sideways on these deer cutoff discs it's a nice thin

blade is meant for cutting through I'll do that every once a while too but boy

I'm careful about how much pressure I put on it and I keep my body parts out

of the plane of rotation for the most part the handle is here the blades here

you crossed your hand over the blade get on the other side of the machine okay

that helps out tremendously so we're cutting into this don't cut up from the

bottom because when you get close to the top the weight of this pipe is going to

go down it's going to pinch that blade close and it's going to bind up and lock

up so you don't want to be doing this you want to be coming down from the top

and then think about okay when I get this cut off what happens to the rest of

this pipe it's now a lot lighter weight so it's gonna slip up was that gonna hit

me in the face the other thing you ought to notice these blades are not heavy

they're also very strong the chances of one of these coming apart is remote I'll

show you that okay I will prove this to you that these things don't come apart

easily and when they do this is not a lot of mass so it doesn't have a lot of

nurses so it slows down quickly it doesn't carry us momentum

from this 9000rpm rotation to hit anything to do more than some minor soft

tissue damage now if that happens to be your I yeah I weren't glasses and that's

enough if you have safety glasses brilliant idea that's enough you know

I've had one guy of all the people that come through here that got an eye injury

I've had one guy he was wearing goggles and a face shield while grinding he

still got a little splinter of steel in his eye probably because it blew in

there or else he took his gear off and it was a nice hot summer day and he did

that he wiped the sweat out of his eyes with gloves that had little splinters of

steel all over him so three days later we gotta get the little thing out pick

it out of his eye no harm done okay but do do the common-sense stuff you know I

mean that's just common sense but try not to tell everybody to be you know

don't be chicken little don't go around telling everybody be terrified of these

things because there's just not that terrifying okay I think all of us need

to have a little more courage and take a little more risk and that's how we learn

and that it's it's an enjoyable tool to use okay just respect it some common

courtesy and respect okay so we're doing a test all right a grinder disc and if

you look closely it has been seriously damaged okay you're an idiot if you use

a grinder just it looks like that okay cuz I cut it with another disc if you're

thinking that that's a good disc you've got problems already and then we have a

piece of quarter-inch steel and some safety glasses maybe I'll get lucky

enough that it will go into the safety glasses I probably will not okay since

I'm intending to make this thing blow up I'm gonna wear some safety protection I

don't know it may come apart immediately but I'm kind of hoping it'll do that and

send something into it okay let's give it a try

all right now I left this knot loose and that's what was doing is just tightening

up because I didn't want the nut to pinch the the blade too much I'm going

to tighten it a little bit because I want this piece of bill to fly away not

just be pinched by the hub trying to make this as bad as we can

all right nothing yet okay now we're gonna have to get dressed okay I'm

cousin glozell so now I'm gonna do to make it break because I'm going to cut

that a little bit deeper and then I'm gonna twist on the blade okay something

you should never do is put sideways pressure on a call late

all right there we go now I'm going to twist it we're getting a little pile up

there on your glasses

Wow yeah okay you're pretty good here not breaking it

need to blade up

okay obviously that blade was not meant to come apart it just chewed it all the

pieces let's try again yeah that's a piece yeah but it's not I mean yeah it's

laying in chunks all over the place has a piece of it too but I was getting

pelted bomb I didn't even feel it this is a Dewalt cutoff disc okay

that don't shit let's see if we get it up our p.m. like that altogether okay

ready

where'd that go that was pretty good

okay not so easy to do yeah I don't think that would have gone through

anything I think you would have felt it I don't think it would've gone through

anything especially safety glasses

yeah 9000rpm cool okay another seriously damaged if you went that way last time

right dude so I'll come over here maybe it'll go that way

are you serious you're broken let me break it some more okay yeah that's

gonna come off okay back over there again

alright now we're gonna find the glasses oh there's the rims and the one piece of

the desk

yes are you serious there's the other piece that where are the glasses they're

intact so they went flying four feet away

I don't think you're gonna pierce glasses so those photos I think they're

a complete hoax I think that grinding disk was put into those glasses while it

was spinning and pressure was applied to get him to cut into it why would

somebody do that it's to scare you because scaring you is the easiest thing

in the world that is what we're wired for food sex and being scared all of

this is why kids should spend much more time on the playground because it's all

physics it's all balanced and if you want to think well I can't get better at

that I'm a klutz no you're not a klutz you're a human being just like the rest

of us all you have to do is focus on it pay attention to it

take some yoga classes learn about balance learn about being aware of your

surroundings learn of those things that is what's going to keep you safe more

than anything else is understanding all the things that are around you and how

they move and how you move among them and take your time and when you stood

you're rushed stop don't be rushed

you

Royaltie Notification Network 2019 - Royaltie Elite - Royaltie VF Lead Generation - Duration: 4:26.

Small business owners face many challenges these days including managing their budgets, retaining their clients, and hiring new employees.

But the number one challenge small business owners face is generating new leads and converting those leads into new paying customers.

In 2018 digital advertising became the number one marketing channel worldwide, passing even TV as the most successful way

for businesses to generate new leads.

But despite the success of digital marketing for large companies around the world most small

business owners do not generate leads online because of all the complex systems and tools needed to succeed.

Here are a

few of the basic components you would need.

First, you need a website or landing page.

Unfortunately learning to use a

website builder like WordPress or WIX takes time and once you figure it out you still have to source images,

write content and design the entire landing page.

Most small business owners find this so overwhelming that they hire a professional Web

developer to build and maintain their landing page.

Next you'll want to drive traffic to your landing page by advertising on

the most popular websites and social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google.

To advertise on Facebook, you will first

need to set up your ad account then understand all of the ad rules and regulations, create an ad according to their

specifications and set a daily ad budget.

To add Twitter,

You have to do all of that again on a separate system.

Ad account rules and regulations,

Ad creation and budgeting.

Same thing for LinkedIn - separate system,

Separate accounts, separate rules

and regulations, separate ads and budgets to manage.

And of course the biggest advertising opportunity of all is Google with a

reach to over two million websites world wide and even greater complexity with its own highly specialized ad formats and regulations.

Now that you've set up all your accounts, you've designed all of your ads,

you've connected them to your landing page,

now you're going to need a customer relationship management software system like Salesforce.com to manage your new leads.

Another system to purchase, learn, and integrate seamlessly with your landing page.

Building landing pages, creating and managing ad accounts and

integrating a lead management system takes time, money, and a lot of effort.

It's complicated, time consuming, and expensive.

And so

it's no wonder that less than one percent (<1%) of small business owners currently advertise online.

This is why Royaltie created the

first digital marketing system built especially for small business owners.

It takes less than five minutes to get started.

Just download our app,

Create a landing page, and set up your ad with one click and you can set your ad to

follow your phone's location reaching people around you wherever you go or you can place a pin on a map and advertise your

business anywhere in the world.

Royaltie gives small business owners the ability to create one ad that appears on multiple platforms

like Facebook, YouTube, Google, Instagram, CNN, and many more without ever creating your own ad accounts or having to research each

platforms' ad specifications and policies.

All of that is done automatically when you set up your one universal ad in our system.

It's so easy to get started with Royaltie.

Set up takes less than five minutes with no long term contracts,

guaranteed daily advertising results,

And plans starting for us little as forty seven dollars a month.

Even better our platform provides you with lower cost impressions

and clicks than other platforms with full analytics and reporting included at no extra charge.

Royaltie makes advertising online simple, affordable, and fast.

Get back with the person who showed you this video and in less

than five minutes your business can be advertising on the best websites and apps in the world.

Learn to play the Guitar - An Introduction #1 - Duration: 6:15.

Hello and welcome. My name is Andrew Keeping, and in this series of tutorials

I'm going to be teaching you the most important techniques involved in playing

the guitar. Whether you are starting out as a complete beginner, or if you have an

existing technique that needs improving, this tutorial series will be the one for

you. So let's dive in and see what's involved.

Having worked as a Concert Guitarist for over 30 years, I'm passionate about my

instrument. Throughout my performing career, I've also taught hundreds of

students, given master classes, lectures, workshops and seminars. I'm lucky, I do

what I love most in life for a living, and passing on that passion to my

students is one of the great pleasures for me in life. In this series of

tutorials we will be covering the techniques used in playing the classical

guitar, also known as the nylon string guitar, or Spanish guitar. However, they

can equally apply to the acoustic and electric guitar. The methodology is much

the same. Many of my students, that started with these same fundamental

techniques, have gone on to forge careers, in their own right, as guitarists in all

genres. Now, I can't stress enough how important it is to establish a good

foundation on which to build your guitar playing. Technique is so important. You

ask any of my students, they will all tell you. But it allows you to go where you

want to go, play the sort of pieces that you want to play. To get the most out of

the instrument. It's the building block of everything that you do with your

guitar playing. It will save you so much fruitless practice time, and ultimately,

lead you to a place where you are getting so much pleasure out of playing the

guitar. Surely that's what we're looking to do?

Many students pick up a guitar, and they get frustrated. The technique... they can't

produce the sort of sounds they're looking to produce. They're getting fluff

notes here and there, and they get so frustrated that they leave the guitar in

the case! We don't want that!

The subjects we will be covering in this tutorial

series are; 1. Sitting position and posture

2.The left hand technique

3. Left hand exercises

4. Right hand technique

5 Right hand exercises

6. How to combine both those techniques

and 7. What books and tutorials to cover. What would be the best series

of books to use to help you on your journey. Also 8. The most useful techniques

in how to practice effectively. This series will continue, and I will take my

guidance from you as well. What are you looking to achieve from your guitar

playing? Let me know. We're a community here, so let me know, and I will do my

best to create videos to help you on your journey through playing the guitar.

Each video will be concise, and cover just the important information that will

allow you to follow me step-by-step, and ultimately retain information to ensure

that you get the most out of these tutorials. If you

are looking to buy a guitar, then please do check out my other videos,

"A beginner's guide to buying the right guitar for you." and " How to check a guitar

before buying." These are really important. Again, you don't want to be wasting your money.

You want to know what you're looking for. What is it you're going to need to be

able to achieve the best results in the shortest possible time?

I don't expect all of my students to want to become professional musicians.

But, one of the joys of the job that I have, is that students contact me on

social media years later, and say they're still enjoying their playing,

they're playing to their kids, they're playing to de-stress at

night, they're playing to be able to just play for the sheer hell of it.

Surely that's what it's all about?

That's why we pick up the guitar in the first place.

And having these techniques in place to

continue that journey, that's what we're here to help with.

Well there you have it. Don't forget to subscribe by pressing the button below.

Also the button on the side with the bell, that will inform you when I upload

new videos to the tutorials, reviews, interesting facts, and interviews as well.

So, if you've liked the videos and you found them useful,

I'm really glad of that, so please press on the like button below as well.

And as a community, we are here together, to be able to get the most out of this. So,

post your comments below. Any questions you have, I generally try and get back to

you as soon as I can. So, please do ask your questions. Ask

other people questions. Put your comments below, because we're all here to help

each other on our journey in playing the guitar. I'll see you next time.
