Waching daily Feb 3 2018

Hi everyone, I am so excited to get this tutorial out to you!

So many of you have mentioned that you wanted tutorials so I noted them all down and have

a list of different video ideas for things to help you draw.

In this tutorial I'll show you how to draw animals in my style and a little bit of decorative

florals so that you can add these into your journal setups or anything you're working on!

Next on my list are mountains, landscapes, and more plant based subjects.

So keep the suggestions coming and I'll keep adding them onto the list for you!

We are going to start with this bunny, who is taking a break from life to simply smell the roses.

Start off by determining the overall shape of the image.

Is it more of an oval, square, rectangle, or another basic shape?

This bunny is more like a rectangle, so I'll start by drawing out my box.

This is the best way to place your drawing where you want it on the page and to figure

out the size of the drawing.

Next I am cutting the box into thirds horizontally and then drawing in a circle for the bunny's head.

Add another circle for the bunny's body.

Now add a little point for the nose and then connect the circles with a curve.

Draw a guideline from the nose, cutting the circle kind of in half, and then just gauge

where the eye and cheek will go.

Onto the ears, just follow along with me as I keep referencing the original image.

For the roses, start off with the stem, and then draw a small spiral for the flower top

and connect the spiral to the stem.

The second stem is more like a bud and that as a shape similar to a rounded triangle.

Add in the leaves and repeat that for the other set of roses.

And now it's time to ink!

One very effective way to add more details into your ink drawings is to add shadow using lines.

Basically filling in a few areas that would normally create a shadow with your micron,

or to simply add emphasis in those areas.

So very lightly, just pile on the lines until it gets darker and darker, this is called

crosshatching.

I'll get into ink drawings more in another video, if you guys are interested to help

you shade and create contrast just by using your fineliners.

Once the inking in done, I am going back in with my copper gelly roll and filling in some

areas to create a nice balance in my drawing.

The gelly roll also covers up the ink, so if you made any mistakes, you can hide it here.

The second animal is this bear, looking up towards the sky, grateful for all that he has.

Again start by drawing out your guidelines and boxes and then filling in the shape of

the bear.

You can use as many guidelines as you need.

So don't be afraid to put in a ton of lines to help you find the right shape.

The bear's nose will be perfectly at the corner of the rectangle and then from there

draw a curved line down as the bear's back, round it for its bottom and then a little

bit inward for its hind leg.

Then from the nose, draw a very slight S curve for the neck to his front paw.

And then finish off with the rest of his legs and then details like his eyes, ears, and

tail, using guidelines to figure out the placement of his eye.

Notice that I didn't follow all of my guidelines and that's okay, my goal is to just get

his shape down and proportions looking okay!

For the leaves surrounding him, start off with a line for the stem, add an oval to the

top of the stem, and then draw narrow hearts down the stem for the leaves.

They start off smaller, get slightly larger, and then smaller again towards the bottom

of the stem.

Now for the inking process, this is the best time to add in those little details of the

shadows like we did for the bunny, and zigzagging lines now to mimic fur on his legs and belly.

Keep the zizags very small and subtle so that they don't look like spikes.

Once that is done, I am going back in to finish off with the copper to the inside of his ears

and the leaves.

The third animal is this sweet fox, just lounging in the warmth of nature.

This is a little more difficult because the head sticks up from the body.

But overall, it still kind of fits in a rectangle, so we can start off with that.

Add in some guidelines to figure out where his head goes and then draw a circle.

Now draw a curved line in the middle of the circle and that will be our guides for his

eyes.

Where the curved line hits the edge of the circle, we can move out a little bit and make

that point his nose, following the curve of the forehead.

Now curve the line to form the shape of a football as the fox's face.

And then just follow along with me as I place his ears and draw the rest of his body.

For the flowers surrounding the fox, they are very similar to those of the bunny, but

with different leaves.

So you can use the same methods to draw them.

Add in the details again with the micron and then for areas where he is really furry, add

in little alternating dashes to depict the thicker fur.

Another tip about inking or drawing in general, is to stay loose.

Be aware of how tight you are gripping your pencil because, it may sound weird, but I've

realized that the looser I hold my tool, the more forgiving I am with my lines.

So my focus is more about the fluid motion of drawing rather than creating perfect shapes.

I remember, when I was still learning, I would hold my pencil so tight, that my hand would

cramp and I was pressing so hard on the paper that it left an indentation even after I erased

the line.

So, take it easy and let it flow.

The fourth animal is this sleeping dear, eyes closed and just basking in serenity.

It is the same dear in my print that I have in my shop, in case you were wondering.

I love it so much that I wanted to teach you how to draw it.

Start by figuring out where her head sits within the overall shape of the rectangle.

And then draw a circle for the main part of the head and then something like a trapezoid

for the snout.

Add in the ears using the guides for reference and then the nose and eyes.

Now for the body, draw an oval all the way around and then gauge where the tail and legs go.

The leaves are again similar to that of the bear, but they are spaced a little further apart.

For the spots on the back of the dear, instead of doing dashes like we did on the fox,

I am adding in areas of lines to mimic larger furry spots.

So they look kind of like a series of slashes.

Finish off with copper accents on the ears and on the leaves.

The fifth and final animal is a happy squirrel holding an acorn, simply enjoying life.

We're going to start off by drawing the squirrel's body, fitting in an overall shape

of a rectangle.

Add in a small circle with a curved guideline in the center of the circle for his eyes and

his nose, to the upper right corner of the rectangle and then a larger circle for the

squirrel's bottom on the bottom left.

Connect the two circles following my lines and add in his feet and then his arms.

Now draw in the acorn, starting off with another rectangle to determine the size.

After the ears, eyes, and cheeks are added in, draw another rectangle for its tail.

And then create S curves to mimic the curve of the tail.

Again, it's okay if you don't stay in the rectangle, it's only there to help with proportion

and layout.

Remember to trust your creative initiation, especially when you're sketching.

So if you think that you need to stay in the guides or if you need to draw out of the box,

it is completely up to you!

For these flowers, start off with a line for the stem and then add a little circle on the

tippy top.

Then add little Ws underneath, changing the amount of dips it has.

And then finish off with some leaves.

Complete the drawing by adding in dashes to the squirrel's tail, like we did on the fox,

and then add in the copper accents to its ears and the only the leaves of the flowers.

I started this tutorial hoping to fit all the animals on one page, but decided to separate

them into two and that's why the deer and squirrel are on the left page, which was supposed

to be blank.

Overall the spread looks pretty good, but I do want to add in this quote by Ansel Adams,

that fits so true to what I believe about nature and my spread isn't complete without

a quote.

He says: I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful — an endless prospect of magic and wonder.

There is always a sense of peace to everything.

So with my drawings and artwork, I love to try to depict that quality in nature, to create

a similar feeling when you look at each piece or even a little part of it.

I want it to be a like a nice break from the endless expectations of our day to day.

Added in the date and title of the spread up top and then the name of each animal next

to each drawing.

And I am done!

I hope that this tutorial helped you to simplify the process of drawing even just the slightest

or gave a little insight to how I draw my animals.

Remember to leave me suggestions or little love in the comment section and if you recreate

any of these, tag me in your photos on instagram, I would love to see your work!

Make sure to actually tag me in the photo instead of adding me in the caption,

this way I can go back to your photos if I missed the notifications.

I am wishing you the best of days full of wonderful feelings and a balance to life.

I'll see you next time, bye!

How to Apply Liquid Lipstick Without Lip Liner | Youtube 2018 - Duration: 14:45.

Hi this video is about how to apply liquid lipstick without lip liner and my

name is Melissa van Dijk and I'm a professional makeup artist and don't

forget to hit the subscribe button underneath and thank you so much for

supporting me and now without further ado let's get right into this video when

it comes to applying liquid lipstick without lip liner this might be tricky

for some of you and I also would recommend doing this if you have natural

or nudie colors which are close to your lip colors because then it works the

best and it's also not that difficult when it comes to bold colorful colors or

colors which are a little bit different to your actual skin tone then I would

suggest to taking a lip liner because this will give you a better look but now

I'm going to show you how you can just get a nice beautiful lip without lip

liner for the first step you at first need to cancel out your natural lip

color and you can do this by using your foundation which is left on the back of

your hand or mixing palette or you can also choose a concealer to cover up your

actual lip color so I have a damp Beauty Blender right here where I have applied

my foundation with and I have still left some foundation so I'm going to dab it

onto my lips you don't have to use a lot of product just make sure that your

natural lip color is cancelled out so I'm going to dab a little bit into the

foundation I'm going to apply it onto the lips

and if you have used a little bit too much and you always can take the site

where you have no foundation on it and just take off some product

and because you have a liquid foundation or you have a liquid concealer I would

recommend also using some translucent powder to dab it onto your lip so that

this will set the concealer or foundation and then you can move on to

the liquid lipstick so I'm going to take a fluffy brush and some translucent

powder and I'm going to dust it over my lips

and if you have applied some translucent powder over your concealer or foundation

then it won't mix in with your liquid lipstick so this is great you can also

use a cream lipstick it's totally up to you but if you're setting your

foundation and concealer it won't mix with the lipstick so now we are going to

move on to step number two first step number two you can choose your favorite

liquid lipstick it can dry it down and it also can still be creamy it's just

all about the application and how you apply it so I'm going to choose the tarte

one and this is the little one because I got it with an order so it was like a

little present and I really like this color and it's still natural so I

would recommend using this technique if you are using natural colors if you are

using nude colors so something that's close to your actual lip color and then

it works the best because otherwise the contrast if you're using both colors

like blue greens then the contrast is too high and this is where I would

use a lip liner but with this color right here and with similar colors of it

it works beautifully without a lip liner so when you open up the tube then this

will be the most product on your lip applicator which you can get because it

was closed so it gets the deepest inside of your tube and this with a lot of

product you can just mess up everything so I would recommend using the biggest

part of your mouth with me it's the lower lip this is the biggest part of my

whole lip and I'm going to apply it in the center of my lip so I'm just going

to use the product which is too much on a lip applicator on my lower lip in the

middle and then if you have still some product left on the lip applicator

which is too much then you can also apply it on the upper lip but just keep

it in the middle don't use it to outline any lip shape yet so I'm going to take a

little mirror so this is on my lower lip and I'm going to use the applicator as

normal as the applicator want gives me the

shape I'm going to start in the middle

so this is quite a lot of a product and now I also can spread it out on my upper

lip but just in the center of my lip and

now we can start outlining our lip so that it gives our lip a very beautiful

shape and this is just with a little bit of product possible to create outlines

which are not bleeding because if you are going to bleed then you have still

too much product on your lip you want and you don't want that so now this lip

liquid lipstick dries down and you can also use any creamy lipstick if you like

to but this one right here dries down and now I'm going to start to outline my

lower lip so I used a lot of product in the center of my lips and now with the

little bit product left on my wand I'm going to outline my lip I'm going to

start with the outer corner

I'm going every time I'm redoing it I'm going closer to the outline of my lip

so I'm going to just extend my lip shape little by little and you can also

correct any uneven lip sides which you have but just keep it from the inside to

the outside and use little by little strokes and just go little by little

towards the outside of your outer line from your lip shape so I just went a

little bit further and I'm going to create a clean line

so now I have one beautiful side which is clean and it's not bleeding because I

have used a little bit of product and I used the most of the product in the

center of my lips now I'm going to do the other side

so now I've finished off my lower lip it took me a few seconds so it's really not

that difficult but you just need to concentrate and you need to know how

much product you should use for the center of your lips and for the outline

of your lips now if you need to you can dunk into the tube again but I wouldn't

go too deep because otherwise you will get a lot of product which you don't

need so I'm going to take just a little bit and you always just can swipe it off

the top if you have used too much and I'm going to use the upper well now I'm

going to use this product on my upper lip so I'm going towards from the inside

towards the outside and I'm going to start putting my Cupid's bow

and it's not bleeding because I used less product now with the outer corner

I'm going to use little strokes

and where my Cupid's bow is I'm going to create an X so I'm going from this side

right here into the middle of my Cupid's bow

so like this now I'm going to dunk into it again I'm going to start off with the

outer corner

so now I have done a beautiful lips without the lipliner and I just used the

correct amount of my lip product onto my lips and now we can move on if you have

done any mistakes you can't cancel it out and you can just clean it up with a

little bit of concealer so I also want to mention that when you have so many

problems about bleeding that it goes into your wrinkles and all that stuff

then I would suggest you to take a liquid lipstick that dries down because

then it won't go anywhere because it just stays there where you have applied

the liquid lipstick if you are using a creamy lipstick and you have problems

with dry lips and I would also will go with a creamy lipstick but there you

will have the problem that it could be happen that it goes into your little

wrinkles so you just need to keep in mind what you want if you want to get a

little bit more a drier lip but you have a beautiful lip or if you want to get a

creamy lip and also a soft lip but it can just go into your wrinkles so

bleeding also can well can happen if you are still young so if you have no

wrinkles around your mouth then it still can happen that you that it goes into

your skin like the outside of your lip but when you're getting older you will

get some wrinkles around your lips and there would suggest you to use a lip

balm at first and then take a liquid lipstick that dries down because this

just works the best and it just prevents bleeding into your wrinkles now for step

number three you're going to correct any mistakes with some concealer or

foundation left and an angled brush but at first I like to create kind of a

little bit of a mistake that it wasn't that sharp on this side or that I just

went out of my lip line so I'm just going to do a small mistake but let's

say if this has happened then I'm going to create now

let's say it went like this so that you just used the wrong side of the

applicator and it didn't work out for you and that you messed it up so now you

can go and take your liquid foundation or concealer and an angle brush I would

suggest to taking a very flat angle brush because this will give you the

sharpest line and every time you dunk into the foundation and clean your lip I

would suggest you to just swipe the brush on the back of your hand that you

are sure that there's no product on it otherwise you will smear the product all

over your face and we don't want that so as before you have seen that I have

still some foundation out on my mixing palette so I'm going to take the angle

brush into the foundation and now we are going to clean up this mistake right

here so I'm going to start by just creating the angle that I want so that I

have a sharp line later on

so now I'm going to swipe it on the back of my hand to make sure that there is no

product on my brush

and again

so just ignore this pimple right here please and now I can go back with the

liquid lipsticks so now I can take the liquid lipstick again and I'm

going to swap of any product which is too much because I don't want to create

the mistake again so I like to keep it as dry as possible just with a little

bit of product I'm going to finish off and creating a sharper line

so and now I can take my finger and I'm going to just pad in the concealer

and now you have cleaned up any mistakes so this one is now again a sharp line

and I just use an angle brush and some foundation and this works the best if

you have done any uneven lines or if you are not happy with the lip with the lip

shape which you have created and this is how you can just apply a liquid lipstick

without lip liner and as I said if you wanted it stay so on this place where

you have applied it then I will choose a liquid lipstick that dries down but if

you have problem with dry lips and you don't like that feeling on your lips

then you can go with a creamy soft liquid lipstick it's totally up to you

but when it still bleeds if you're using a creamy liquid lipstick then I would go

with the lip with a lip liner because it's such a waxy lip liner that it will

just outline the lip and then it keeps everything on your lips and that it

won't go into your little wrinkles so this is just something which I have

experienced but it still works to apply a liquid lipstick without lip liner as

you can see I just did it but you have to experiment with it and I just hope

that you learned something from this video and that you enjoy this video and

now you can have a look at this video right here I hope that you enjoy it and

write in a corner you can subscribe to my channel thank you so much for

Early Spring Day | Signs of spring on our homestead - Duration: 8:23.

Hello, I've got Monty again today. You're a good boy, aren't you? So yes, what a great

day it is! The sun has been out for a lot of the day. We started off with a

really, really heavy frost, really surprisingly heavy frost. It hadn't got

into the ground, but a surface frost. And then the sun came out and the frost

all disappeared. And there's not much of a breeze today and it's a really lovely.

It feels like spring. I have to remind myself it is only February and not get

too excited because March and April can often be then very cold and wet. But what

a pleasure to be outside. What an absolute pleasure! So today all sorts of things

happened. The three Jersey Giants that were due to go last week, have finally

gone today to their new home, so I hope they'll be very happy there and I hope

their new owner will enjoy having them. And our tree surgeons been round.

Hello boy

Oh

Would you like to be a star? Would you like to have your photo taken? Not so

keen on having your photo taken?

Our tree surgeon has been around and has brought

whole load more, well, it's thuja it's a it's an evergreen plant that he's been

taking down from hedgerows and so he's dumping it here. And then next week at

some point he will bring his chipping machine here and just chip it on site.

Rather than taking all that stuff down to his place, chipping it there and then

bringing it all back. It made more sense just to drop off the the large branches

here and and then do the chipping here. What do you reckon boy? Life is good,

isn't it? Yes it is, life is very good.

So yes, that's the birds gone and some more trees came and Mr. J got home from

work on time, rather than being late, so it's pretty nice to have him home in

the day when it's still light. Because, you know, in the middle of winter when it

got dark really early and he was extra busy because of the Christmas rush, yeah,

he was leaving when it was dark and he was coming home and it was dark. And this

morning and we commented he was leaving in the sunshine and he certainly got

home in sunshine. So that's very nice! I have I've broken down a couple more pallets.

So my next thing is to go and grab the jigsaw and cut these down into

smaller pieces, so I can a make some kindling and have some smaller pieces

for some small building projects that I have in mind.

Look at this chilled face, look at this face. This is a very happy cat!

What a funny boy you are! Yes. What a happy cat! I've added fresh bedding into the

chicken palace and into the shed for Elvis's flock. And I may have spent

quite a lot of time looking in the incubator at what is now 11 chicks.

I'm really pleased, so we've got the eleven chicks in there. Nine of which are large

fowl Light Sussex and two at the moment are Indian game birds and we shall just

have to see how the rest of the Indian game hatch or not. And then hopefully

in and either, either tomorrow or the day after, the second incubator will

be filled with little chicks too.

There you go, good boy! Yeah, there are signs of new life all over our homestead

at the moment. The plants definitely think that spring is on the way.

There are tayberries and loganberries and self-seeded marigolds, the chives and the

bronze fennel. And there are plenty of signs of new life in their perennial

border. And all those pesky annual weeds and the pernicious perennial weeds, well,

they've all started growing. There's masses of weeding that needs to be done and

even a little stinging nettles are coming up. But there's new

growth on the raspberries. Now, these are the autumn fruiting raspberries and they

need me to cut them right down to the ground now, so they can send new

shoots up. But one of my egg customers has a stick insect

and it's very partial to raspberry leaves, so I'm not going to cut these

ones down her until until her stick insects have had these leaves and then I'll

get them straight down to the ground.

And so, wherever you are in the world and

whatever you've got planned for today, I hope it's a good one,

and I also hope you can join me again tomorrow.

AMAZON SPHERES INSIDE TOUR | parejeda - Duration: 6:39.

Hi there! I'm here on a rainy day in Seattle and I'm super excited for today

because I get to take take you guys on an exclusive tour of the new Amazon

Spheres in Seattle. So what are you waiting for? Let's go in!

you're not gonna see Pauly Shore at this biodome. The Amazon Spheres are for

employees only, but there is a museum below for the public to visit. Sorry

Pauly! Technically the spheres aren't even really spheres at all. They are

overlapping pentagonal hexecontahedron catalan solids... or however you say that

The largest sphere is 90 feet tall and 130 feet wide and the spheres are made up of

2,643 panes of glass. There are 40,000 plants in total from 30 different

countries and as much as you want to you're not allowed to touch the plants. Wah wah.

The first floor houses primarily New World American plants while the upper

levels have the old-world Dino plants. Okay they're not dinosaurs, but you get what I

mean. The spheres are humid. My hair got to

frizz City pretty fast. During the day it is at 60% humidity inside and 70%

humidity at night to keep those plants nice and happy. And it's roughly between

68 and 74 degrees inside. The environment inside the spheres is most like a cloud

forest. Yes, I said that right, cloud forest. It's a type of high-altitude tropical

rainforest with cooler temperatures causing clouds to form that provide

moisture to the plants. There are hidden devices inside the spheres to monitor

the humidity and light levels and the ventilation system even mimics a slight

breeze. The lights inside are even set at a special color spectrum to benefit both

humans and the plants. Believe it or not there are some nice

insects inside the spheres. They help eat the pests that are bad for the plants.

I didn't notice any while I was inside, but I'm pretty happy about that. The biggest

showpiece in the spheres is definitely the four-story tall

living wall that houses plants that normally don't cohabitate in nature. And

I must admit it was pretty cool

Although my favorite part was definitely the suspension bridge that made it feel

like I was in a tree house in the jungle. Also Donuts. Yes there's a donut shop inside.

I hope you guys enjoyed this tour of the Amazon Spheres. Next time you're in

Seattle grab a donut and connect with nature inside. Where it's not raining of

course. Give this video a thumbs up if you like it and don't forget to

subscribe to my channel for more awesome videos just like this. I'll see you guys

next week. Bye!

Joyce! Can You Help Me Forgive? - Duration: 3:29.

GINGER: WELL, JOYCE, HERE'S THE QUESTION, AND THIS IS ONE OF

THOSE THAT AS SOON AS WE SAW IT ONLINE, YOUR HEART JUST BREAKS

FOR THE PERSON SHARING THIS.

AND SO, WE REALLY WANTED TO DO ANYTHING

THAT WE COULD TO HELP HER.

JONI WRITES, "LOCKED IN A ROOM FOR 2 YEARS BY MY MOM, WHO WAS

A HEROIN ADDICT, AND MADE TO HAVE SEX WITH MEN TO SUPPORT

HER HABIT.

HOW DO YOU FORGIVE?" JOYCE: WELL, HAVING HAD SOME

SIMILAR SITUATIONS, I CAN SHARE WHAT REALLY HELPED ME.

AND THE ONE THING THAT REALLY I REMEMBER HELPING ME SO MUCH WAS

WHEN GOD PUT IT ON MY HEART TO REMEMBER THAT HURTING PEOPLE

HURT PEOPLE.

SO, HER MOTHER HAD A HUGE PROBLEM.

IT WASN'T JONI'S PROBLEM, IT WASN'T HER FAULT, THERE WASN'T

SOMETHING WRONG WITH HER.

HER MOTHER HAD A HUGE PROBLEM.

AND I CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO BE ADDICTED TO

HEROIN, BUT THEY SAY THAT IT IS ONE OF THE HARDEST DRUGS TO

GET OFF OF.

AND I GUESS WHEN YOU'RE ADDICTED TO SOMETHING LIKE THAT, IT JUST

MAKES YOU DO ABSOLUTELY UNSPEAKABLE THINGS THAT YOU

WOULD NEVER DO OTHERWISE.

AND IT REALLY HELPED ME WHEN I REALIZED THAT MY FATHER WAS

HURTING.

HE DIDN'T--HE DIDN'T APPEAR TO BE HURTING, BUT I FOUND OUT

LATER THAT HE HAD ACTUALLY BEEN HURT IN HIS CHILDHOOD, AND THAT

THERE WAS A BACKGROUND OF INCEST THAT HE WAS INVOLVED IN EVEN

WHEN HE WAS YOUNG.

AND SO, I DON'T THINK THAT ANYBODY--AT LEAST, I DON'T THINK

THERE'S VERY MANY PEOPLE THAT JUST GET UP EVERY DAY TRYING TO

SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY CAN MAKE MISERABLE.

I THINK THAT PEOPLE JUST HAVE PROBLEMS.

AND SADLY, A LOT OF TIMES THEIR PROBLEMS END UP HURTING OTHER

PEOPLE, AND THIS IS ALSO VERY UNIQUE.

WHEN MY DAD FINALLY DID APOLOGIZE TO ME, WHICH WAS

ALMOST 40 YEARS AFTER THE FACT, HE SAID, "I HAD NO IDEA THAT

WHAT I WAS DOING TO YOU WOULD HURT YOU SO BAD."

SO, I THINK--LET'S JUST SAY THAT THIS GIRL'S MOTHER, SHE'S IN HER

PAIN, SHE'S IN HER ADDICTION.

SHE PROBABLY, NUMBER ONE, NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED WHAT THIS

WAS GOING TO DO LONG-TERM TO HER DAUGHTER.

I THINK SOMETIMES WHEN PEOPLE ARE HURTING THEMSELVES REALLY

BAD, THEY JUST--THEIR OWN PAIN IS SO BAD, THEY DON'T EVEN

REALLY KNOW HOW TO CONSIDER WHAT THEIR ACTIONS ARE DOING.

I MEAN, YOU TAKE AN ALCOHOLIC FATHER IN A FAMILY OR AN

ALCOHOLIC MOTHER, THEY'RE SO CAUGHT IN THEIR OWN TRAP OF WHAT

THEY'RE GOING THROUGH THAT THEY PROBABLY DON'T EVEN COMPREHEND

WHAT THAT'S DOING TO THE REST OF THEIR FAMILY.

GINGER: AND THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT OKAY.

JOYCE: NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

GINGER: BUT IT HELPS YOU TO HAVE A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE.

JOYCE: IT HELPS YOU TO HAVE A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE.

AND I GUESS THE THING THAT I WOULD JUST LIKE TO ENCOURAGE

JONI WITH IS, YES, IT'S HARD.

IT'S HARD TO FORGIVE SOMEBODY WHO'S HURT YOU, BUT REALLY

YOU'RE DOING YOURSELF A FAVOR WHEN YOU DO THAT.

AND SOMETHING THAT GOD SHOWED ME RECENTLY THAT ACTUALLY WAS

A LINE I HEARD IN A MOVIE THAT I REALLY LIKE IS, LIKE, YOU ONLY

HAVE TO FORGIVE ONE TIME.

BUT IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE ANGRY AND FULL OF HATRED, YOU HAVE TO

DO THAT EVERY DAY ALL DAY LONG THE WHOLE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

AND SO, I REALLY PRAY FOR JONI AND ANYBODY ELSE WHO NEEDS THIS

KIND OF AN ANSWER THAT SHE'LL DO HERSELF A FAVOR AND FORGIVE.

Eve Schiff, Adam Schiff's Wife: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know || SML News - Duration: 7:43.

https://heavy.com/news/2018/02/eve-schiff-adam-schiff-wife-bio-photo/

Schiff wrote on this Facebook photo: Happy Mothers Day! Eli and I took Eve out for a nice brunch to celebrate.

What a gorgeous day.

(By the way, this is the same shirt I wore on our first date 27 years ago.

Yes, I still wear it.). Rep.

Adam Schiff is the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, and the author of a controversial counter memo by the Democrats that attempts to offer an alternative context to the Republicans' FISA memo.

While Schiff has been at the center of the FISA memo controversy, all eyes have also turned to his wife, Eve Schiff.

Who is she? She and her husband are incredibly close, and he often says admirable things about her on social media, bragging about how lucky he is.

Here's what you need to know about Eve Schiff.

Adam & Eve Schiff Met on a Tennis Court in 1990.

Adam and Eve (Sanderson) Schiff met on a tennis court in Marina del Rey 1990 and were married five years later on February 19, 1995.

They've been married for more than two decades.

He always writes something cute on his social media page about "Adam and Eve meeting" on their anniversary.

He even still remembers the shirt he wore on their first date nearly 27 years ago and mentions it on Facebook.

Despite being different faiths (she's Catholic and he's Jewish), they were a great match.

The family has belonged to Temple Beth Ami since 2010.

His Friends Joked That They Should Name Their Kids 'Cain and Abel,' But They're All Really Quite Close.

Adam often jokes that he and his wife Eve are the real life "Adam and Eve," and their friends suggested that they name their children "Cain and Abel." (They never actually took that suggestion seriously.) They have two children: Alexa Marion, born July 1998, and Elijah Harris, born July 2002.

In 2012, Adam took Alexa to "Take Your Daughter to Work Day," and she really enjoyed it. "You always see in movies and like TV shows people talking on the House floor," Alexa told SCPR in 2012.

"And it's really cool to be there where everything happens." Adam and his children are very close.

In fact, Alexa gave her dad a makeover recently for MSN.

Adam Schiff Considers Eve a Role Model.

Adam wrote for Good Sports that Eve was a great tennis player who had played for most of her youth.

But once they started having kids, she quit for a while, like many other people do.

But then she picked the sport back up years later.

He wrote admirably: "She's great.

She's a good role model for me because she's out there working out every day." Her dedication inspired him to get back into working out himself and be in better shape.

In fact, Adam admires a lot about Eve, including her family.

On Mother's Day in 2016 he wrote on Facebook: "Happy Mother's to my wife, Eve.

She's a great mom, and had a terrific example to follow with her mother, Marion Sanderson, who passed a decade ago.

An artist, Marion was a beautiful person and a real sweetheart — as fantastic a mother-in-law as anyone could ask.

We lost my mother, Sherrill Ann Schiff, about five years ago.

Nana as she was called by our kids, was a wonderful, loving and proud mother and grandmother.

We miss them both." .

They Have An Estimated Net Worth of $1.74 Million.

Adam and Eve Schiff have an estimated net worth of $1.74 million, according to InsideGov.com.

This is 63 percent higher than the average member of Congress and 104 percent more than the average representative.

His net worth also puts him at 21st among all the members from California.

They Relocated from California to D.C.

Because They Hated Being Apart.

Eve used to volunteer where they lived in California, and she continues to volunteer after they moved to D.C.

She has volunteered on four different PTA committees at one time, despite the grueling schedule.

They relocated to D.C.

from California because they hated the prolonged absences that kept them apart.

And they love every minute that they're together.

In fact, Adam even posted their chili recipe on his website:.
