What is a Roll Arm Sofa? English Rolled Arm Furniture by Roger and Chris - Duration: 4:25.

- Hi, I'm Chris and I'm here today to talk

about one of our favorite types of sofas,

the English Roll Arm Sofa.

We have two types of English roll Arm sofas

one is called Basel it's pronounced Basel.

99.9% of our customers call it Basil

and I'm fine with that but it is Basel.

That is a tight-back English Roll Arm sofa

and reference our other videos on what a tight-back means,

but that's that.

The other one is Blythe.

Blythe is named after a, actually a childhood friend of mine

weird thing, anyway.

Basel and Blythe are both English Roll Arm sofas

and the English Roll Arm really refers

to the side profile of the sofa.

It has a descending line to it, it swoops back a little bit.

It's rolled over in a very specific way.

It has a front T cushion on it which means the cushion

is actually extended all the way to the outside edges

and the arms are recessed slightly.

Here are a couple things that are great about this sofa

and why it's so popular.

First of all it's very versatile,

it's a very traditional looking sofa.

It's very distinctly British in style.

As you can imagine from the name but it actually works

in a lot of different types of environments really well.

We have folks use them in really modern settings.

They're great in more country farmhouse settings.

They're very nice in a lot of Manhattan lofts

that we've built them for.

So it works everywhere.

I think a thing that's really nice about this type of sofa

is that it gives you what I call a lot of seating space

for your buck.

Everyone's concerned about overall scale.

A lot of us are working with rooms that are maybe

a little bit smaller than we'd like them to be.

And we have to maximize that space, right.

The nice thing about English Roll Arm is the arms are only

about six and 1/2 inches and they are recessed.

So I think on a shorter sofa it's still gonna sit

like a larger sofa would.

Which means you can still have room for some side tables

and floor lamps.

And you can have room to walk around it

because my personal pet peeve is walking through a room

and stubbing my toe on a piece of furniture

because it's too big.

I still wanna be able to lie down on it

so that is gonna do a really good job

of giving you the best of both worlds.

The scale of it's right for more rooms.

We have a lot of customers who are going for the tight-back

because it always look neat and tidy, it's very elegant,

you don't have those back pillows that can sometimes

get smooshed and need a little bit of fluffing.

And it also can be made a little bit smaller

than a pillow back can, save a few inches here and there.

And in the end those little tweaks can add up

when you're working with limited space.

The pillow back I think is one of our most comfortable sofas

it's just fantastically comfortable to sit back in.

It's really soft and cuddly.

I think another thing that's nice about it

is the arm rest is

some arms, I love Chesterfields we do a lot of them

but that arm is really high and I'm tall but even still

I feel like I'm sitting like this which is weird.

I think the thing that's nice about that English Roll Arm

is it does give you a little bit more relaxed position

for your arm to rest.

If you wanna lie back on it it's great 'cause

it's not necessarily gonna prop you up too much

and you almost lie a little bit more flat with the pillow,

really comfortable.

And it's really graceful, it's timeless.

It's been popular for several 100 years,

I don't anticipate it going out of style any time soon.

They look great in a wide range of fabrics.

They look really good in leather.

They're not so commonly done in leather.

We do, I think a little bit more of them in leather

than most people.

I think they look awesome in leather so definitely

consider that too if you're not sure.

But really popular in velvets.

We do a lot of them in blue velvets, gray velvets,

a lot of cream linen blends are popular with that style.

It's just, it's traditional but not too fussy.

It's elegant but not off-putting or grandiose.

I think it's just a perfect option for a lot of rooms,

a lot of environments.

And I think it might just be what you're looking for.

And thanks so much for watching our video

we've got a whole lot of other videos on similar topics

related to furniture and design.

So I hope you do check those out.

Linkedin salary 2018 - Duration: 3:27.

Are you looking for a new job? Maybe

you are considering a whole change of career?

Well the LinkedIn salary option gives

you some great insight into the kinds of

rewards you can expect for the job that

you do. Here's how it works. So go to the

work section click on the drop-down and

then select salary. You'll find a simple

search bar with job title and location.

So if I'm going to use an example, let's say

Social Media Manager and you'll see what comes up

in the results marketing manager and

let's say Nottingham, UK and I'll click

search. So in this case nothing has been

found locally but there's certainly one

for UK. If I change that to United

Kingdom you can see the results there.

And so we'll say get started. So we've got a base

salary in your local currency and then

you're asked to complete some

information about the role. So let's say

that. And this is one of the first

people to do so I'm not going to share this

now. But if we return now and just have a

look at some of the existing data there

so you can get a detailed picture. If I say

see more insights this is just showing an

example there and some additional benefits

and certain businesses where you

can see what the salaries they are getting.

You can search by different sizes of

company education, look for similar jobs. In another

search here I've done social media manager

UK and you can also filter by different

industries

so media and communications, years of

experience one to five years only or all

years of experience. Try another sector

software and T. So fairly

consistent numbers. So as you can see if

you share your details there you'll get

free insights for a whole year 12

months so it could be very useful

particularly if you're thinking of a

change of career. OK so you can even

see the top paying locations similar

jobs currently being advertised. So I hope

that's been helpful that's the salary

section on LinkedIn and as I say if you

unlock by putting in your salary as part

of the service then you'll be able to

get 12 months of access to all of the

details. That's it for me I'm Paul from

PRWilson media your social media

personal trainer Cheers

Do You Need Permanent Life Insurance? - Duration: 7:34.

Whether or not you need life insurance is a question that many people struggle to answer.

It doesn't help that insurance agents are often perceived as pushy sales people who

stand to make larger commissions if they sell more expensive products.

It is true that some insurance agents are commission hungry but I think that it is also

common for people to dismiss good insurance advice due to the perceived conflict of interest.

It is common for life insurance to be absolutely necessary for a family to be financially secure,

but it is important to choose the right kind of insurance.

I'm Ben Felix, Associate Portfolio Manager at PWL Capital.

In this episode of Common Sense Investing, I'm going to tell you about life insurance.

If you have anyone, like a spouse, child, or even dependent parent, relying on your

ability to generate income or provide services, you have a need for life insurance.

When you die, your ability to generate income stops immediately, but your family's expenses

do not stop.

Think about a family with $5,000 of monthly expenses, all covered by a single income.

To continue covering those expenses for 20 years after the earner's death the family

would need to have about $900,000 to invest assuming a 5% after-tax return and 2% inflation.

That is more cash than most people keep lying around, especially in the early stages of

adult life.

It's not only the income earner that requires life insurance.

In the example of a single income family, one spouse may be at home caring for children

and managing the household.

Those functions have an implicit monetary value which needs to be replaced on the death

of the spouse providing them.

In the early stages of adult life expenses tend to be high with things like mortgage

payments, retirement savings, and child care costs, while financial assets tend to be low.

With high expenses and a total reliance on the ability to generate income, there is a

substantial life insurance need for most younger people with families.

At retirement, human capital is considered to be depleted, and you should be able to

rely on your financial assets like pensions and investments to fund your lifestyle.

Your ability to generate income is less critical at this stage as your family will probably

be fine financially if you die.

So life insurance needs are typically highest at the start of adult life, and decline over

time until retirement when they are typically zero for most people.

Based on this declining need, it is extremely important to choose the right kind of life

insurance.

The two main types of life insurance are term life insurance and permanent life insurance.

Within each category there are quite a few variations in terms of how the policy is structured

and paid for.

Term insurance is the lowest cost type of life insurance.

Based on the typically declining needs for life insurance, term insurance is probably

the most sensible choice for most people.

With a term insurance policy you are locking in your premium, or cost of insurance, for

a fixed number of years.

At the end of that term, your premium will go up, and it will often go up a lot.

Term insurance policies come in many term durations, but the most common are 10 and

20 year terms.

Ideally you will purchase a policy with a term that approximately matches the duration

of the insurance need.

For example buying coverage on your life until your kids are expected to be independent,

or until your mortgage is paid off.

Permanent life insurance does not renew or expire.

It covers your life forever as long as you pay all of your premiums.

In other words, it is insurance coverage that is guaranteed to pay out eventually.

Permanent life insurance comes in multiple forms.

The simplest no-frills type of permanent insurance is called Term 100.

It is a lot like a term insurance policy, except the premium is guaranteed until age

100.

Term 100 policies do not have any cash value or built-in investment component.

Whole life insurance similarly has premiums payable until age 100, but the policy also

builds up a cash value.

You can borrow against the cash value or use it as collateral for a loan from a bank.

You also get to keep the cash value if you cancel the policy.

In most policies, the cash value earns non-taxable interest over time.

Limited-pay whole-life insurance is similar to whole life, but the premiums are paid for

shorter number of years, and then the policy is guaranteed until death.

A Pay 20 policy would be a whole life policy with premiums payable for 20 years, and then

the policy would be paid up forever.

Participating whole life insurance receives dividends from the insurance company.

Those dividends can be paid out in cash, used to pay premiums, saved within the policy,

or used to purchase additional paid up insurance.

Policy dividends are credited to each policyholder at the discretion of the insurance company

based on a number of factors.

The whole process is a little bit opaque which makes me uneasy, but insurance companies will

often boast that they have never missed a participating policy dividend.

Universal life insurance is permanent insurance with a built-in investment component.

The Policy holder is able to choose what the money is invested in.

This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the investments available and the discipline

of the policy owner.

Many permanent life insurance policies have the option of over funding, or adding extra

cash to the policy in excess of the cost of the premiums, up to a limit.

Overfunding a policy allows the extra cash to grow tax-free inside of the policy.

While this may be interesting to some people, in general I would not say that permanent

insurance is a very good investment.

It has high built in costs, including the cost of insurance, and liquidity constraints.

Permanent insurance is interesting in situations where there is a specific need at death, and

liquidity concerns for the estate.

For example, a family cottage passing from a deceased parent to their children may result

in a substantial tax bill.

If there are no other liquid assets in the estate, and the child does not have liquid

assets to pay the taxes, then the cottage may need to be sold.

Permanent insurance could be used to avoid this situation.

For most people in most situations, term life insurance is the simplest and most cost effective

option.

For example the $900,000 policy that I mentioned at the beginning of this video would cost

about $40 per month for a 30-year old female.

On the other hand, structuring this policy as a non-participating whole life policy would

cost around $400 per month.

Remember, not all insurance agents want to sell you the most expensive product, but it

is worth noting that in this case, the insurance agent is looking at the difference between

around a $500 commission for the term policy, and a $5,000 commission for the permanent

policy.

Have you purchased permanent life insurance instead of term?

Tell me why in the comments.

Thanks for watching.

Warning - 8 Signs You're Overly Emotionally Attached - Duration: 12:52.

Are you really into the person you're dating?  Do you find yourself constantly thinking about

him and talking about him? Well Usually, that's a good thing.  But as you know,

overdoing it or becoming too obsessed too soon will have him running for the hills .  That's

why In this video, I'm going to share the 9 warning signs that you've become excessively

attached and emotionally dependent on your man.  Don't go anywhere because we are

starting in 3 seconds.

hi everyone.. I'm dr Antonio Borrello, Welcome to another video.  This channel is all about

helping you build great relationships so you can grow happy with the people you love.

So, if you're interested in making your love life the best part of your life, start

now by clicking the subscribe button and the bell notification so you aren't missing

anything. OK… on to the signs you're too attached. Oh And make sure you watch the whole

video.. because after I explain the signs, also going to tell you how to turn things

around and bring your relationship into balance.

Being emotionally intimate and sharing a secure attachment with a partner is one of the most

amazing parts of life..  But, as you know, too much of a good thing can become unhealthy

and damaging..  I mean drinking water is a good thing, but drinking too much water

in a short period of time can kill you, it causes water intoxication or hyponatremia….

it's true.. google it... Lol Well similarly, becoming overly attached or

emotionally dependent on your partner like a stage 5 clinger is not only unhealthy for

you, it usually leads to your partner wanting to abandon you…  it's like the thing

you fear most is exactly what your behavior will bring about.  So, before you let that

happen to you,  here are the 8 warning signs to look out for.

1. You're constantly texting him  Keeping in regular contact with the person

you're dating is usually so sweet.. it's like you are sharing your day with someone..

almost as if they are keeping you company and making your day more enjoyable… That's

healthy and wonderful…  however, it becomes problematic when three things happen,

1.  You start feeling anxious when you've gone a few hours without hearing from him…

and that's even when you know he's working.. it's like you need to get a refill of his

attention or you start to feel empty and lonely inside. 2.  You get anxious if he doesn't

respond right away…  does your heart drop when you realize he hasn't texted back for

a whole ten minutes, Do you start worrying that something's wrong .. if so,that's

a problem….  And if you're double and triple texting him without a response… that

adds to your anxiety and raises the clinginess index tremendously... Don't do that

3.  When texting him interferes with your ability to accomplish your daily responsibilities….

Like you don't complete your work or school responsibilities because you're too busy

texting back and forth. So if you're experiencing one or all of

those three things.. you're probably overly attached, or on your way to becoming obsessed.

2. You Rarely Disagree with him.. and that's because you aren't being completely honest.

Do you openly share your opinion when you disagree about something?  Or, do you find

yourself wanting to please him and so you go along with whatever he wants to do. In

other words, Instead of speaking up and expressing yourself when you disagree, you prefer to

agree and avoid having a debate. For example, you find yourself watching sports on tv for

hours because you want to make him happy..  in reality, you don't even like sports but

you're not comfortable saying….. I'm not really into this and asking him to binge

watch your favorite show with you. Here is the problem.. some people assume that people

will like you more if you always agree to their ideas or activity choices., rather than

speaking up and expressing your preferences when you disagree. They also do it because

they want to be thoughtful and pleasing... they believe that thoughtfulness, agreeableness

and love should get the same in return... but that doesn't happen.. if anything, you

end up getting taken for granted and under appreciated.

Instead, You need balance.. Healthy relationships require both partners to be honest in sharing

their beliefs, feelings, likes and dislikes... sharing the effort and the work. That means

sharing the decisions on choosing restaurants and deciding on movies to see. Happy couples

share in deciding who they spend time with, the music they listen to (in the car), and

the TV shows they watch together. But, they also share in helping one another with everyday

chores and taking care of each others needs. But I know It can be difficult for some people

to do this because they are constantly putting the needs and desires of others before their

own. If this is you, be careful… this behavior is not sustainable and in time, will cause

you to resent your partner.

3. You give up your own needs to meet his. It's natural for partners to meet each other's

needs. However, it's unhealthy when you are the one making all the sacrifices without

getting much in return. That means you are investing way more into the relationship and

things become imbalanced.   And often times, he hasn't even asked you to make those sacrifices…

for example, you give up your weekly girls night out because your boyfriend doesn't

have plans on that night.  Again, he didn't even ask you to give up that night.. you decided

to do it because you thought it would please him if you were available to hang out with

him... Look. Relationships involve compromises. But when you abandon something that is fundamentally

important to you just to fit in with your partner, that is compromising too much. And

you may end up resenting him for it, as well as regretting giving up something that matters

to you.

4. You no longer spend time with your friends and family.

Have you got to that point in a new relationship where you friends are starting to complain

that they never see you anymore.  This one is a classic and so common.  Many people

are guilty of this when they get into a new relationship.   But it's important for

you and for the relationship that you have your independent social life and maintain

those relationships.   And staying in contact with friends via text or phone calls is not

the same.. Meeting up and connecting with people face-to-face means that you value those

relationships and continue to strengthen those bonds of friendship..  and To have a stable

and healthy relationship with your partner, you both need to hang out with friends and

family and not just with each other. By doing this, not only are you nurturing yourself,

you're nurturing your relationship, too.

Btw.. are you a person who tends to stop hanging out with your friends when you get involved

in a new relationship... if so, why do you let that happen? Or, do you have a friend

who disappears when she starts dating someone? Leave a comment below and let's talk about

that.. ok. Number 5

5. You have no hobbies or interests of your own.

Some people are like chameleons in their relationships and always change their interests to match

that of their partner.  Actually.. in the movie Runaway Bride, Maggie (played by Julia

Roberts..is a woman who became famous for leaving three different fiancés at the alter

as she runs away at the last minute.  In the movie, we find out that Maggie adjusts

her interests to mimic those of her fiancés in order to please them. This is signified

most prominently by her choice of eggs, which changes with each fiancé.  At one point

in the movie, we realize that Maggie doesn't even know how she likes her eggs because she

had always gone along with what her boyfriends liked. Essentially, here is what's happening...

Overly dependent partners tend to make their significant other their whole world." This

means they won't feel secure enough to have interests of their own — especially ones

that don't include the other person. So they aren't going to engage in interests

or hobbies that their boyfriend isn't into. Instead, they go along with and engage in

whatever interests their significsnt other has. And this is just not sustainable. I mean

if you don't like fly fishing, you can't expect yourself to be ok with going on fishing

trips every weekend because you'll be miserable.

6. You don't like doing things alone anymore.  Instead, you are always inviting him because

you feel incomplete without him.  If the thought of doing something alone is giving

you anxiety and stress, then you just might be codependent. While it's natural to want

to spend a lot of time with your partner, feeling stressed out because they aren't around

isn't good.   Here's an example… your girlfriends are planning a girls night out

and they have to specifically tell you that your boyfriend is not invited because they

know that if they don't say that, chances are high that he will show up sometime during

the night. Oh.. and they also know that telling you he's not invited makes it more likely

that you won't show up either. They know you're that attached. Again... it's important

to have friendships and engage in activities you did before you met him because that's

what made you who you are ... remember, Your relationship started because of who you are.

Lose your identity and you will likely lose the relationships too.

7.

7. You constantly stalk his social media like a private detective.

Have you found yourself scanning through his old pictures, checking his timeline or even

checking out the profile of every single person who liked his latest post?  Does that Sound

familiar? OK… I'll admit it.. we all do it, right?  This becomes a problem when you

get obsessed with checking to see who's commenting and liking his posts. You start

analyzing and checking to see if you can understand their relationship based on their history

of liking one another's posts.. then you start to feel anxious or even jealous that

that he liked another woman's meme.   That's unhealthy social media stalking and if its

compromising your independence and making you anxious, you've gone too far.

8 You need constant reassurance of love and affection.

It's normal to want to know how your significant other feels about you. However, constantly

asking them how they feel for reassurance is a problem. If this is you, then you probably

ask multiple times ... Do you love me? How much do you love me? Are you sure? You probably

also need to have constant affection from them such as kisses, holding hands, ect.

Why does this happen? When overly attached people get involved in a romantic relationship,

they often have a perpetual feeling as though things are on the cusp of falling apart. They

are always on the look out for the signs that things are going wrong and that the relationship

is about to come crashing down all around them;

That's because its difficult for them to believe completely that their partner values

them or their relationship, so they need resassurance over and over again that yes, everything's

fine, yes.. I love you.. this insecurity and these the mini-accusations that something's

wrong all take their toll and quickly turn from annoyance to active resentment. This

can become overbearing for the other person, and will likely lead to the demise of your

relationship.

See, Looking to our partner to reassure us when we feel insecure only leads to more insecurities.

Remember, feeling secure comes from inside of you. and if you don't feel worthy...if

you don't know your value, it won't matter how smart, sexy, worthy or attractive your

partner tells you that you are. It won't stick.. and you'll need more and more reassurance

to temporarily fill you up again. That's why you must strive to feel okay within yourself.

You need to To love yourself and accept who you are. Then you can be fully accepting of

the love and affection your partner directs toward you. Again.. it comes from within,

not from looking to your partner at every turn for reassurance to prove you're okay.

So, what can you do if you find that you are overly attached or even obsessive with your

relationship? does that mean that you must detach from your partner entirely in order

to be healthy? Not at all. This is not an all or nothing thing... there is a healthy

middle ground and that means having balance. It means knowing yourself (including what

you like and dislike, what you can tolerate and expect from a partner, and being able

to stand up for yourself and sometimes put yourself first. It means cultivating self

love and using it at a foundation for a healthy relationship.

But as we discussed before, practicing self-love in the context of a new relationship is often

easier said than done. When we want another person, we often do things that we think will

win their affection. And in doing so, we often engage in behaviors that are anything but

self-loving. The good news is that like any relationship, strengthening your relationship

with yourself and practicing self love is something you can learn to do. So, if you're

Uterine Polyp Removal Experience - Duration: 12:04.

I wanted to give a little recap of my experience with my hysteroscopy

polypectomy what!?!

hi thanks for clicking on Simply Tanika I am Tanika if you are new here welcome

hit that subscribe button let's hang out a while if you are returning welcome

back let's get those babies ladies what's up

fertility fam how are you I hope you are well I wanted to give a little recap of

my experience with my hysterical pic polypectomy what

so as you never had that procedure last Friday let's take a look good morning

fertility fam how are you today is Friday September 21st I'm all dressed

and getting ready to go down for my procedure a little nervous about being

put to sleep but hopefully all of you well I'll be under for about an hour I

have on my lovely shirt thanks girl so yeah it is 8:45 I have to check in by

9:30 so we are packing up and heading out talk to me

hope your Friday is going well bye

all right so I'm all ready to go they wouldn't let me come back but I said I'd

be done in like 45 minutes to an hour's and I can't be too bad at my paperwork

and now I'm just coloring in my conception book I'm waiting for the

anesthesiologist I'm getting nervous though

coloring book helps but I'm still nervous all right I'm all done I am just

had two packs of graham crackers and in water totally broke my own fast and my

diet for the day but well not the diet my calories are okay but the sugar and

the carbs probably need it for the anesthesia to metabolize but hold on

I'm eating my crackers I heard you out of the restroom

alright so the doctor just left and said that she's not sure if it was a polyp

there are some abnormalities so all that's been removed it's gonna go to the

lab they're gonna test it if it's abnormal I'll hear back in a week if

it's normal we just move on with life so I think that's our last hurrah before

egg retrieval will do FSH on cycle day two for the next cycle and assuming

claiming that that comes back nominal we will be on the road so actually I take

that back next episode a21 testing confirming ovulation progesterone and

that day if everything comes right now I'll start the estrogen priming to prep

for a cycle a2 so that should help ensure that FSH is low at that point so

now I just get to rest I'm super hungry because I haven't had a lot of water so

I've eaten like six packs or four graham crackers which is crazy so today's gonna

be my cheat day but there are worse things so that was my day um I slept

afterwards and I did not remember getting from the surgical room into my

patient room or whatever you call it afterwards so I didn't ask about it like

oh no you stood up and the doctors helped you and I was like okay well

anyway what was that what is a hysteroscopy Paulo factory well I will

tell you I looked it up I want to give you the facts and just the facts ma'am

and why did I need to be put to sleep I got that question

right so I will just get this open the his hysteroscopy hysteroscope

be mr. Scott be histor skip you say that three times fast anyway

it's a visual examination of the cervix and interior of the uterus with an

endoscope so that is what they used to get into my uterus and they went in

through my cervix very much what they've done like when I had an IUI or if you

have had my SH hsg and the shg they opened up my cervix stuck something in

there took a look around so that's what that was and then what is a polyp that's

the other question I got from some folks who are new to the fertility

so and this is what I found on the web for you all

so I found that on the web and basically that means us there's a polyp in the

uterus and you can see here there here's the uterus here's the lining which is

the endometrium or uterine lining and there is and so that is what I had they

removed that and while the doctor was in there she said as I mentioned that she

cleaned some things up and they sent it off to the lab so yeah the doctor went

in and removed with Paula and some other things some cleaning while she was in

there and they took all that and put it in a bag and sent it off to the lab and

I'll hear back in a week or so if anything was cancerous or not if it's

benign I shouldn't hear anything from them why did they remove it it could

affect implantation right so once I have my egg retrieval and then the eggs are

introduced to sperm and fertilize and all that fun stuff they put them back in

my ears and we have to wait and make sure that they attach that they implant

and start to grow implantation is actually a three-month period it's that

first trimester which is why if some women are taking progesterone they have

them take it through the whole first trimester trimester that whole period is

implantation but I think a lot of the times when we talk about in are going to

conceive Journeys is that immediate latching of it and so we say

implantation implantation bleeding we mean in the very early days technically

implantation lasts for those first 13 weeks of pregnancy so if they implanted

or if they placed the embryo back into my uterus on top of this polyp it's

possible that that polyp that you know a little it's like a skin tag basically

hanging in there could keep the embryo from implanting and so they wanted to

remove that and then they also wanted to look around just at the surface

of my uterus while they were in there so even though I had the shg where they can

see kind of the uterus they can't see it exactly until they get in there with the

endoscope which is why before and when I joked about the doctor said we'll look

around while we're in there I mean I cuz I just felt like an old jalopy like

you're gonna look around you're gonna hit the tires what does that mean but

they are legitimately looking around to see if there any other abnormalities

adhesions anything that they didn't see while they were doing the shg that could

impact implantation we don't want that to be impacting right so yeah that was

that they put me to sleep because there's cutting and leading and all

those other fun things that are going on so even though they didn't cut me to get

access to my uterus they did make cuts while they were in my uterus and so they

didn't want me awake for that afterwards I did experience cramping I would say by

the time I was sitting down on the subway and I don't know if it was you

know while we walked over I don't remember exactly but I do

and remember being very pronounced once I got on the subway that I was having

cramping feeling and they said that I would have blood flow that would be like

a light period I think I had it probably for two days very very light

mostly when I had a bowel movement TMI when I pushed I noticed it but I slept

most of that day on Friday and then Saturday I slept and Sunday a blue and I

did go out for a walk it wasn't anything strenuous there were no like inclines it

was very flat over in Fort Tryon in New York so it was nice it was nice to get

out oh and over by the marina so we walked along the Hudson that was it was

nice the weather was great fall it's definitely here it was nice and crisp

not too humid element so it was good to get out and walk around I didn't feel

any cramping or pain then the day of the procedure I probably had about four

Tylenol when I back and a lot of water and I ate kind

of intermittently I for that day like after I had the graham crackers in the

morning after the surgery I decided not to do fasting for the rest of the day

and just kind of take it easy and be good to myself so yeah that was it and

then I got the results back which you guys will see that next week but I did

get the results back there are it wasn't cancerous yeah so that was it it was it

was pretty simple pretty straightforward I would say I was glad that bloom went I

wish they would have let him back in the room but I guess you know policy or

whatnot he was able to come back after I was done with surgery but not before

they had me take the pregnancy test ahead of time just to see you know I was

pregnant you guys heard that um call with a nurse if you didn't hear it I'll

link it over here but yes you think I think had a situation where there was a

woman who was pregnant and they had to run in and like no so as a matter of

protocol they have people take the pregnancy test which makes sense

it makes sense yeah so it was pretty straight forward a little nerve-wracking

going into it I worked out that morning to help you know with the nerves and

like I said the drinking was the hardest part or to be specific than not drinking

of water so yeah that's kind of what our next steps are hopefully that makes

sense and I hope you enjoyed this video thanks for coming along with me to the

doctor's office and seeing me through my surgery I appreciate you please share

this video there are a lot of women who are going through this process who need

guidance assistance or reference I certainly searched a lot of videos in

the run-up to my own procedure so please share with everybody that you know and I

will see you later bye baby does to you

to make the rainbow

12 Cancer-Causing Foods You Should NEVER Put In Your Mouth Again - Duration: 11:41.

12 Cancer-Causing Foods You Should NEVER Put In Your Mouth Again

Want a troubling statistic?

Did you know that each week, over 3,000 Canadians are diagnosed with some form of cancer?

It's not easy news to get.

It affects everyone around you and some of the hardest times for the patient lie ahead.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

If people are well informed, Having a healthy diet is a good start, and avoiding cancer-causing

foods is a good addition.

Aside from death, many people are scared to go to chemotherapy when they learn they have

cancer.

The reason is that this treatment is grueling and puts the body through hell.

The first side effect is nausea and vomiting.

This occurs almost immediately after the treatment starts.

Another side effect is hair loss.

This is why you see people shave their heads before they start the treatment.

It removes the element of shock because this symptom can occur within the first couple

of weeks of treatment.

Before we begin this video, don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more daily

tips like this and turn on notifications so you never miss our new videos!

Sometimes the healthiest people end up developing cancer.

But this doesn't mean people should eat whatever they want and live an unhealthy lifestyle.

Eating a healthy diet that is full of nutrients will not only improve your health, but will

also help reduce the risk of developing certain diseases.

Now, here are a few cancer causing foods you should try to avoid in your diet.

1 BPA Lined Cans: A lot of the major food companies coat the lining of their canned

foods with Bisphenol A (BPA).

According to studies done on human and animal cells, BPA has been linked to several health

issues.

These include cancer, infertility, obesity, and diabetes.

BPA is also found in many different types of hard plastics.

These types of plastics include water bottles, eyeglass lenses, baby bottles, sports equipment,

and much more.

BPA can leach into water and food supplies and pose a risk to our overall health.

Although some studies state that the current levels of BPA found in certain products do

not pose a danger to human beings, some research does suggest that over exposure to BPA can

lead to male impotence, fertility problems, heart disease, and other health issues.

2 Smoked Foods: Smoked meats contain harmful carcinogens called nitrates and nitrites that

help prevent it from spoiling.

But when the smoked meat is cooked, those nitrates and nitrites turn into N-nitroso

compounds which include nitrosamines and nitrosamides.

N-nitroso compounds can increase your risk of developing cancer.

The health risks associated with these types of carcinogens includes stomach infections

and cancer, increased risk for stroke and / or diabetes, an elevated level of sodium

in a person's diet, and more.

If you enjoy smoked meat and are searching for an alternative, you can use certain seasonings

that can help add more flavor to meat.

You can also marinate your meat.

Are you Surprised by any of these foods yet?

Keep watching for some even more surprising foods that can increase your risk for certain

types of cancer!

3 Farm Fish: A lot of the fish that you get at the grocery store come from a farm.

You might think that it's safer to get your fish from a farm instead of the wild.

Unfortunately, you'd be mistaken.

Fish contains high levels of omega-3.

Wild fish get their omega-3 from the aquatic plants in the water.

Farmed fish are fed an unnatural, high-corn diet which includes other pollutants and chemicals.

Some of these chemicals also include pesticides which help prevent sea lice from spreading.

4 Grilled Meat: Nothing is better than cooking grilled meat under a nice fire.

But what if I told you that this can increase your chances of getting cancer?

Well, it's true!

Cooking meat under a fire can create carcinogenic compounds called heterocyclic amines and polycyclic

aromatic hydrocarbons.

According to research and studies done on animals, these dangerous chemicals have been

shown to cause cancer.

5 Hydrogenated Oils: You increase your chances of developing breast cancer of you constantly

consume hydrogenated oils.

In order to prevent the product from going bad, manufacturers have processed the oil

by creating a chemical reaction with hydrogen.

According to the Harvard School of Public Health, the trans fats that are in hydrogenated

oils also promote inflammation and immune system over-activity.

These have been linked to health issues that include heart diseases, diabetes, and cancer.

6 Microwaved Popcorn: There is no better snack to enjoy while watching a movie than popcorn.

But if you're consuming microwaved popcorn, you might want to rethink that decision.

Microwave popcorn is one of the cancer-causing foods.

The bags are lined with Perfluoroalkyls, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate

(PFOS).

These are used to prevent the oil from seeping through the package when it's heating up.

Unfortunately when you heat up the bagged popcorn, these chemicals end up in the popcorn.

In many studies, PFOA has been associated with tumors in animal organs.

Not to mention the PFOA plant workers are also at risk of developing prostate cancer

as well.

7 Non-Organic Vegetables and Fruits: Crops that are conventionally grown and induced

with pesticides, GMO seeds, and herbicides.

All three of these chemicals are dangerous for your health because they contain carcinogens.

8 Sugar: If you have a sweet tooth, you might want to try and cut down.

Cancer cells feed off of sugar.

What sugar does is it feeds tumors and encourages cancer cells to grow.

Sugar can also be a risk factor for heart disease for people who have diabetes or other

conditions related to diabetes (such as high blood fat levels).

This is because sugar can increase blood sugar levels and triglycerides, which are a type

of fat found in the blood.

Sugar is also very high in calories.

If you tend to drink a lot of soft drinks or foods which are very high in sugar, you

may be consuming more calories than you think you are.

This can lead to weight gain and even obesity in people who are already significantly overweight.

9 Soft Drinks and Sports Drinks: Studies have confirmed that there is a link between cancer

and soft drinks like soda.

They can increase the insulin production in the pancreas which can double the risk of

developing pancreatic cancer.

Not to mention most soft drinks and sports drinks contain no nutritional value and also

rob your body of its essential vitamins and minerals.

10 Soy Protein Isolate: According to statistics, between 90 to 95 percent of all US-grown soybeans

that are used to create soy protein isolate are genetically altered.

The American Dietetic Association confirms that soy protein isolates contain anti-nutrients

that can delay the body's ability to digest and absorb nutrients.

If the body is unable to digest and absorb nutrients, it won't be able to properly

fight developing cancer cells.

11 White Flour: If you're buying commercially-grown white flour, you should know how it's processed.

The seeds are treated with fungicide.

Then they are sprayed with pesticides.

Then they are stored in bins that are coated with insecticides.

All of these chemicals increase the load of toxins in your body.

To ensure that the flour stays white, the flour is mixed with chlorine oxide in the

form of chlorine gas.

This is one of the top cancer-causing foods.

Also, during the manufacturing process, white flour is stripped of the wheat kernel that

is responsible for slowing its digestion.

This makes it very easy for your body to turn the white flour into blood sugar.

So the next time you think of buying white flour, don't do it!

12 Processed Foods: As I have mentioned already with smoked meats, processed foods also contain

nitrates and nitrites that can increase the risk of you developing stomach cancer and

other cancers.

A lot of processed foods also contain large amounts of white flour, which I just mentioned

goes through a dangerous process and contains many harmful chemicals.

Processed foods are also very high in certain healthy types of fats, and are huge contributors

to obesity.

Processed foods are also usually very high in sugar, which is just empty calories that

has no essential nutrients.

Processed foods are also engineered for overconsumption.

Food manufacturers spend a lot of resources on making food rewarding to people's brains,

which can lead to overeating and over consumption, resulting in weight gain and health issues

associated with obesity and being overweight.

Processed foods also contain all sorts of different chemicals which are bad for our

health.

Just a few of these chemicals include preservatives, colorants, flavors, and textures.

When it comes down to it, processed foods are extremely low in nutrients, low in fiber,

and high in carbohydrates.

It is best to avoid them all together, or eat them in moderation.

If you are worried about your diet or your health, you should consult with your doctor

to ensure that your health is in good shape.

You should also make sure that you are eating a diet that is rich in nutrients, while only

eating "junk" food in moderation.

If you notice any new or unusual health issues, consult a doctor to rule out any possible

health concerns.

What other foods are there that can potentially increase your risk for certain cancers?

[Verse 1: Sophia Somajo] Hello sweet grief

I know you will be the death of me Feel like the morning after ecstasy

I am drowning in an endless sea Hello old friend

Here's the misery that knows no end So I am doing everything I can

To make sure I never love again

[Pre-Chorus: Sophia Somajo] I wish that I did not know

Where all broken lovers go I wish that my heart was made of stone

Yeah if I was bulletproof I'd love you black and blue

If I was solid like a jewel

[Chorus: Sophia Somajo] If I had a diamond heart

Oh oh I'd give you all my love

If I was unbreakable If I had a diamond heart

Oh oh You could shoot me with a gun of gold

If I was unbreakable

[Post-Chorus: Sophia Somajo] I'd walk straight through the bullet

Bendin' like a tulip Blue-eyed and foolish

Never mind the bruises Into the fire

Breakin' through the wires Give you all I've got

If I had a diamond heart I'd walk straight through the dagger

Never break the pattern Diamonds don't shatter

Beautiful and battered Into the poison

Cry you an ocean Give you all I've got

If I had a diamond heart

[Verse 2: Sophia Somajo] Goodbye, so long

I don't know if this is right or wrong Am I giving up where I belong?

'cause every station is playing our song Goodbye my love

You are everything my dreams are made of You'll be Prince and I'm the crying dove

If I only were unbreakable

[Pre-Chorus: Sophia Somajo] I wish that I did not know

Where all broken lovers go I wish that my heart was made of stone

10 Psychological Tricks to Make People Like You Anywhere You Go - Duration: 9:55.

10 Psychological Tricks To Make People Like You Everywhere You Go

We all want to be loved but only very few of us know how to get into the people's

hearts and make them to love us.

In this video, we'll be sharing with you 10 psychological tricks to make you likeable

so that people will like you everywhere you go.

If you're new here, consider subscribing so that you won't miss other interesting

videos like this

No. 1

Let people talk about themselves

Harvard researchers recently discovered that talking about yourself may be inherently rewarding,

the same way that food and money are.

Though you want people to like you, you must understand that human beings are extremely

selfish.

Nobody will like you except you first let them feel good about themselves.

One of the best ways to make people feel good about themselves is to let them talk about

themselves.

When next you meet people, discipline yourself to speak less and let them do the talking.

Ask them personal questions and let them tell you about themselves.

When you leave, they will feel good and because you make them feel good, they'll like you.

No. 2.

Mirror Them

Mirroring is a psychological trick of mimicking other person's behaviors, gestures, facial

expression and body language.

In 1999, New York University researchers documented the "chameleon effect," which occurs when

people unconsciously mimic each other's behavior, and that mimicry facilitates liking.

Researchers had 78 men and women work on a task with a partner.

At the end of the interaction, the researchers had participants indicate how much they liked

those partners.

Without doubt, participants were more likely to say that they liked their partner when

their partner had mimicked their behavior.

Why does this work?

We all love people who are like us.

If you want someone to like you, by mimicking them, they subconsciously see you as someone

who has something in common with them and like you for being similar to them.

No. 3.

Compliment people Abraham Lincoln allegedly said, "I can live

on a good compliment for 3 months" It's a major human weakness that we love

to be appreciated.

We love to be complimented but we rarely get honest compliment so whenever we get one,

we reward the giver with love.

If you want to be liked by people, compliment their appearance, accomplishments or progress.

No. 4 Hurt people sometimes

Isn't this just the opposite of what we discussed in number three?

Here is it;

Nobody loves to be flattered.

Even though we may get angry at first, we all appreciate people who can tell us the

bitter truth.

According to the gain-loss theory of interpersonal attractiveness, your positive comments will

have more impact on people's emotion if you tell them the other side they don't

want to hear sometimes.

Here is an example.

If you always tell a lady that her clothe is beautiful, at a time she will know that

you're flattering her and your comment won't make much impact on her emotion again.

However if one day you tell her that her skirt doesn't fit her, though she'll not feel

good for that day, she will forever take your subsequent compliments as genuine

No. 5

Show warmth before competence

Harvard psychologist Amy Cuddy says that, especially in business settings, it's important

to demonstrate warmth first and then competence.

Your warmth attracts people to you while your competence makes them envy you.

You want them to like you first, so that they won't have the need to envy you so don't

show people how good you are, even if you're the best in such thing.

First show them how friendly and loving you are before you'll show them how competent

you are and they will like you and accept your competence as genuine.

No. 6 Be in a great mood

Everybody in the world is having enough headache and nobody wants more.

Because mood is contagious, people will rather like someone who is usually in great mood

than someone who is usually sad and depressed.

According to a research paper from the Ohio University and the University of Hawaii, people

can unconsciously feel the emotions of those around them.

Because I know your mood can affect mine, I'll not like you if you're usually sad

because I don't want to add more to the headaches I have in my personal life.

What's the way out?

Keep your problem inside your room because most people just don't care.

Only share your troubles with your close friends.

Let everyone else see you in great mood and they will like you the more.

No. 7

Discuss your shared values alone

According to a study, successful people are less likely to tell you what is in their mind.

They will rather discuss what you want to discuss.

Here's the math;

Human beings usually hate people who don't share their point of view.

How can you deal with that?

Stay at your shared values.

For example, if you have a friend whose opinion on politics is usually the same like yours

but against yours when it comes to religion, stop discussing religion with him.

Discuss politics and have nice time.

He will like you because he will think you're the same, even though you are not.

Casually touch people In a University of Mississippi and Rhodes

College experiment that studied the effects of interpersonal touch on restaurant tipping,

waitresses briefly touched customers on the hand or shoulder as they were returning their

change.

As it turns out, waitresses who touch people earned significantly larger tips than those

who didn't touch their customers.

This is known as subliminal touching, which occurs when you touch a person so subtly that

they barely notice.

Common examples include tapping someone's back or touching their arm, which can make

them feel more warmly toward you.

When you meet people, touch their arms, tap their backs etc. and they will feel so close

to you and love you in return.

Smile

In one study, about 100 women looked at photos of a woman in one of four poses: smiling in

an open-body position, smiling in a closed-body position, not smiling in an open-body position,

or not smiling in a closed-body position.

Results suggested that the woman in the photo was liked most when she was smiling, regardless

of her body position.

Be cheerful.

Wear your smile everywhere you go and people will like you.

No. 10.

Reveal your weaknesses from time to time If you know something to be your weakness,

make it public and you'll be loved for it because we're living in a world where most

people brand themselves as perfect individuals.

Take for example, most people will never say, "I don't know" if you ask them anything.

They would rather give senseless answers than to risk looking foolish.

According to the Pitfall effect, people will like you if you show them your weaknesses,

especially if they know you to be good in other things.

In summary, if you want people to like you everywhere you go;

Maintain great mood.

Smile Discuss only your shared values

Casually touch people Mirror Them

Tell people bitter truth sometimes Let people talk about themselves

Show warmth before competence Show your weaknesses to make you look human

Compliment people

Tommy Emmanuel Cool Blues Lick in E - Duration: 4:03.

what's up you guys Jon MacLennan here and in this lesson I want to show you a

really cool blues lick and the key of e that I stole from Tommy Emmanuel this is

from his song Stevie's blues and just sort of pulled my ear I had to

transcribe it and I'm here today actually in Davenport Iowa played a gig

last night at the red stone room with John popper from Blues Traveler and

we're heading on to the next gig just a little Midwest run little tour

here so coming from a hotel room but wanted to do this lesson for you guys

so the lick that we're playing is in the key of e it's a blues and it goes over

the last four bars which goes like this v7 to a Sabbath

and then even play like a turn around like you know any

like that so again the what kind of pulled my ear is this sound I'll play it

for you first so the fire horn

okay so that's the lick so it's coming off this shape which is like an a nine

sort of chord you've got the third finger on the fourth fret of the a

string and your first finger on the second fret of the d-string

just those two notes and then the G B and E strings are open this a nine and a

lot of times you hear blues players like Clapton and stuff play that before chord

with the third in the bass sound and you can easily launch from there into this

next sort of shape which looks like this and what it is is your first finger

plays the second fret of the D string then you take your second finger and you

lay it flat and you cover the Qi and the B strings at the third fret and reach up

with your pinky and play the fifth fret of the high E so which is really like

this sort of sound a c-13 cord but it's over these seven so

it's just cool blues kind of way to take it out a little bit and then bring it

back home with just a blues lick in the key of e like this so so after you get

up to the pinky here on the fifth fret of the E string you play open E and then

put your third finger on the third fret of the B string

and then play open B and then I do a little bit of hybrid picking like this

with a pull off so what that is my third finger on the third fret of the g string

and I play that note with the high e with my middle finger so I pinch those

together and then you do a pull off from three to two to Ciro's the double pull

off with hybrid picking and then you play the second fret of the d-string

but Louis Oh

okay so in context b72 that a nine okay let's try it together okay start from

the b7 and I'll count you in a one two three

so hopefully that can be something that you can use this is again what's so cool

about transcribing is you just you're gonna go to shapes and things that you

wouldn't usually play and you can learn from that so I'm on to the next gig

tonight we're still on the road but I hope you enjoy this video and we'll see

it in the next lesson

Can I Skip A Payment To The Chapter 13 Trustee To Manage My Cash Flow? - Duration: 1:53.

So, I'm in Chapter 13, but I've got a bunch of other payments that have come up, and I'm

not on a wage garnishment. I've been making payments electronically every month to the

Chapter 13 Trustee, and right now, money is super tight. Can I just skip a payment

to the Chapter 13 Trustee and make it up later? My name is Ron Drescher. I'm an attorney

practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights in Maryland, Delaware , Pennsylvania and Virginia,

and I say do this at your own risk. This is generally speaking not a good idea because

once you fall behind with the Chapter 13 Trustee, it's very hard to make it up. They're

paying attention to this. They're keeping journals and records, and if you fall enough

behind, and it's not very far, maybe a couple of months, they'll file a motion to dismiss

your Chapter 13 case, and really, if that happens, all of the payments you've made before

are pretty much going to have gone for naught. That's one of the reasons why we really favor

wage garnishments in Chapter 13 for our clients, because it makes it much, much more likely

that you're going to have a successful Chapter 13 case, so my strong advice to you, is don't

fall behind with your payments to the Chapter 13 Trustee. My name is Ron Drescher. I'm an attorney

practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights, and if you have a question about what your

Chapter 13 case is going to look like, please pick up the phone and call me. I would love

to hear from you.

Patch Adams Presents: Be a Clown Group! - Duration: 4:46.

I decided to just go on because when I really think of play and clowning so many things are going: hey, I should say this or that.

So, I'm going to run on here about starting a clown group. If you are fully comfortable your self, clowning in public, other people will want to be doing that with you.

That's--I mean... Look, we've done over a hundred and fifty clown trips, and people pay their own way--lots of funds.

I mean, we don't make money from it, but a lot of money is spent traveling somewhere and being nuts all day long.

And a lot of people that do it, especially in the second half of its history (which is 32 years old), in the second half a lot of people went home and started their own thing.

And what was the starting? They wanted to do it, okay. This is the real key -- is that you can't help clowning. If you can't help clowning, and there's play around you, and people are laughing...

People will want to do that--especially if you do it around people, you actually go: "You know, they--that it would be great to work with them."

You think: oh, look at that person. Yeah, they put such a good vibe in the room. They'd be a great clown. You go--you go, and meet them, and and give them a proposal.

And if--what I find is that--if you're a lot of fun, and people that are a lot of fun are the ones you're thinking about doing clowning with, you end up collecting a lot of people that can have fun in that context.

It's not about what they need, they want to go and be fruitcakes wherever we go: restaurants, hotels, and insane asylums, prisons, hospitals, nursing homes...

So, if you want to start a clown group, I'd say--unless you actually can't--I would say, wear clown clothes all the time have lots of different things you're exploring. I mean, maybe always wanted to do the yo-yo, but you've never learned it, or whatever it is.

If you say, this is a lifetime thing you're going for. So, how much of the life that inhibits your clowning can you give up, and the most hours to put towards clowning.

So, just--what if you were locked in a room with a whoopie cushion for a week? How many different tricks would you use that whoopee cushion with?

And, that you explored that something that outrageous. So, mostly, what will make a clown troop is that you're fun to be with. That's what I found, a lot of people repeat on the clown trips because they're fun to be with.

They want to be with hilarious fruitcakes who want to spread joy in every environment. So, you wanna--if you get just three of those, you're going to have a clown group, because people want to be with people that are like that.

And... It's so much fun. It ends up being cheaper in the long run per person. And, even if it took you ten years to form a group, that's ten years of practice. Boy, would you be ready then!

I did a lot more nuts-o, before I did it with groups, and it was all useful. So, go nuts-o! Now, am I making myself perfectly clear? I hope so.

But, as soon as I start telling you something, I start thinking of all of these unbelievable playful moments that happen, just because there's a moment. And you've got all of these toys, and little kids screaming at an airport.

Thousands of them! (aaahhhh!) Are you going to do it? Okay! Are you going to do it? Are you going to start a clown group? That's really the only thing you have to answer. If you say yes, let that yes be so big you can't imagine stopping.
