- I'm Chipper Nicodemus.

I'm the Senior Manager of Acquisition at Segment, so I handle all paid media and SEO efforts.

And Segment is a customer data infrastructure company, so we help customers make sure their

data gets to their end destinations and it's clean and reliable data to make business decisions

off of.

So we have a small, scrappy team here at Segment.

So we are looking for somebody that can help and be a great partner with us, that can move

quick with a lot of changes that we have, a lot of new initiatives, and was really help

us get the best value for our dollar as well.

KlientBoost really stood out for us because they were definitely a small, scrappy team

that I knew would be a great partner with us, just based on a couple initial conversations

that I had.

Not only did I meet the founder, but I was able to chat with some of the people that

would be on the account as well and hearing from your existing clients and your past clients

really, really brought it home for us.

What I'm liking about KlientBoost so far is that they've been working incredibly fast.

Anything we've thrown at 'em in the first couple of weeks, they've handled it with no

pushback whatsoever and have really nailed it.

Within the first three weeks, we threw our biggest product launch of the year at 'em

and they were able to set all the campaigns up and execute them flawlessly.

So far we're seeing more conversions than we were in the same previous period and saving

more money, so, so far so good.

Enhanced Mobile: Auto Attendant-for administrators - Duration: 2:56.

The Auto attendant feature helps route and manage calls

by offering your callers a menu of options.

To help you get started,

we've provided a default auto attendant.

But you can optimize your auto attendant

by making some basic adjustments

in AT&T Collaborate-Enhanced Mobile.

We'll show you how.

On the "Site Information" page,

click "Manage auto attendant."

Some basic information about the auto attendant appears.

Now, click "Edit."

There are three options for managing an auto attendant.

You can manage the profile...

...by changing the default settings.

Just keep in mind that the time zone setting determines

how the schedules are applied.

Don't forget to save any changes.

To help manage calls to the auto attendant,

you can set call features.

Just click "Edit features"...

...and select the features you want to assign.

Finally, to customize the auto attendant to fit your needs,

you can manage the settings.

If you want to play the same greeting

and provide the same menu options all the time,

use the "24/7 configuration."

Or, you can switch to a custom configuration

and set up your auto attendant to play customized greetings...

...and provide different menu options during business hours,

after hours, and holidays.

We'll customize business hours.

First, expand "Business hours."

Then, under "Schedule," click "Set up."

By default, business hours are in effect every day,

from 9:00 to 5:00.

Now let's create a custom schedule.

First, we'll give the schedule a name.

For this example,

we aren't including weekends in our business hours,

so we'll call this schedule "Monday - Friday."

We'll leave the defaults for the start and end times,

select "a.m." and "p.m." respectively,

and then click "Apply to all weekdays."

We'll select "Closed" for "Saturday" and "Sunday"

and then click "Apply to all weekends"

because we're always closed on weekends.

Now, save these settings...

...and then click "OK" on the success message.

Expand "Business hours" again.

These are the default menu options for business hours,

but we'll add another option.

Click the edit icon.

We want our callers to hear that they're being transferred,

so for key 3, select "transfer with prompt",

and enter a person's extension.

Save your changes...

...and click "OK" on the success message.

Expand "Business hours" again.

Now we'll assign a greeting.

Click "Set up."

You can record a new greeting, upload a greeting,

or choose an existing greeting.

Let's say we recorded and saved a custom greeting

to match our updated menu,

so we'll choose "Use an existing greeting..."

...select the greeting, and then click "Save."

And that's it!

Business hours are now customized

for your business needs.

Now that you know how to customize your business hours,

you'll also be able to customize

"After hours," and "Holidays."

You probably don't know this about U.S. elections | HKS Professor Alex Keyssar - Duration: 4:12.

[Announcer] Harvard Kennedy School presents

three things you didn't know about U.S. elections.

Number one.

There is no right to vote in the U.S. Constitution.

[Keyssar] It was not in the original Constitution.

It was not in the Bill of Rights.

This surprises most people.

The states had already developed franchise requirements

of their own and thinking in Philadelphia

was that if they chose any particular standard

it might well antagonize people from some states.

So, in effect they punted, didn't say anything

and left it to the states.

There have been attempts to add a right to vote

to the constitution and they have all failed

and never come close.

[Announcer] Number two.

Historically, voter suppression was not just a southern

problem.

[Keyssar] Most of us are quite aware that in the late 19th and

early 20th century, there were massive voter suppression

and disenfranchisement efforts in the south

that were aimed at African Americans.

What is less well known, is that there was an analogous

movement, less severe, but none the less important,

in the northern states to keep immigrant workers

from voting.

There were literacy requirements to vote

in many northern states, including Massachusetts.

There was an English language literacy requirement

that was passed in New York in 1921

and it remained on the books until the late 1960s.

In Minnesota there were laws that were passed

that prevented people who work in the timber industry,

these people were seen as itinerant,

and they were not allowed to vote.

Or one of my favorite examples,

was the suppression of Jewish voters in New York City

early in the 20th century for several years.

When New York had an annual registration requirement,

you had to register every year in order to vote.

And in one year to limit the voting strength

of New York's Jews and particularly New York's Jewish

socialists, the only registration days

were on the Jewish high holidays of Yom Kippur

and Rosh Hashanah.

[Announcer] Number three.

In the late 1960s, the U.S. almost abandoned

the Electoral College, but then it didn't.

[Keyssar] It has in recent years been a great deal of attention

focused on the Electoral College

and with good reason.

Because we have had two presidents within the last 20 years

have been elected, who did not win the popular vote.

What people don't know is that we got very close

to eliminating the Electoral College

and replacing it with a National popular vote

in 1969 and 70.

The impetus for it was coming

from several different directions.

The first was that from the late 1940s

through out the 50s, there were movements

to reform and nobody really thought

that it was a very good institution or a very wise one.

A second, was the Supreme Court decisions on districting

issues in the early 1960s would proclaim loudly

and clearly and unmistakably that the fundamental

democratic principle was one person one vote.

And it was very hard to embrace that principle

without thinking that perhaps it should apply

to presidential elections as well.

In September of 1969, the House of Representatives

voted by, I think it was, 82 percent

to amend the constitution

to get rid of the Electoral College

and have a National popular vote.

It was killed by a filibuster, led by souther senators.

But there was a real democratic surge.

A surge of a democratic ethos in the United States

in the 1960s and it almost carried are way forward

into getting rid of the Electoral College.

Non-duality and the nature of the Self - Duration: 5:14.

Hello. So today I'm going to talk about the nature of the Self.

Now, in non-duality, the Self is all there is. There's no other. There's no

separation. There's no second. There's only the Self.

There's only ever been the Self. And so, as people are talking about trying to

practice being the Self or finding the Self or staying with the Self or abiding

in the Self...they're actually setting up an artificial, illusionary separation

between them and the Self. You can't practice to become what you already are.

You can't try to stay with what you already are. There's nothing to do...to be

with the Self...because you are the Self. You've always been that. And a lot of

people think that in finding the Self or non-duality

that it's something other than this. Something other than the what we

experience. But it isn't, because otherwise that would have to be some kind of other.

That would...if the Self was not this...all manifestation...all form...if the Self was

something else, well then there would be a second. There would be another and

there isn't one in non-duality. Now... there is just a basic ignorance. It's a

misunderstanding. It's only a belief in a thought that we

aren't the Self. So finding the Self is kind of...you know...in a way...getting in

your own way, because there's nothing to find. You are already here. You are

the ever-present Self. You are ever here and

now. Where else would you be? Where else would you go? So, there's nothing to

attain. And that's why a lot of times they say there's nothing to attain,

because you can't attain what you already are. If it's already with you, what

would you get? So there's no gain...there's no loss. In a way, you can think about the

law of conservation of energy. Energy is not created or destroyed.

It will transform into different forms and it will move about, but that is it.

It is never created or destroyed. The Self...

non-duality...likewise...

never created...never destroyed. It's just a transformation of forms. And we are not

the forms, we are...well...in a way we are the forms, but we are all the

forms. It's a funny thing, because we often get stuck on the form. And so,

sometimes the teaching is 'we are not the form', but inevitably it will come back to

'we are the form.' It's kind of like...ice and water. They're both the same thing.

It's just the forms vary. And if the ice melts into the liquid, nothing was gained

or lost. It's still the same. In that way, nothing has ever gained or lost. It's a

transformation of form...a movement of energy, but it's always the same

energy. The form is energy. Einstein in his e=mc²...you know...if you take

off the "c²"... because it's a... you know...it's a constant squared to help

calculate the amount of energy, you're just left with e=m. Energy equals

matter. Energy is matter...matter is energy. They aren't separate. They aren't

other. They are the same thing. And that's the way the Self is. Everything is the

Self. There is no other. There might be a form that comes and goes, but the form is

the Self and what it turned into is the Self. Nothing gained or lost. The Self is

all there ever was.

The trick is realizing what you've always been.

WE14M104 - Replacing Your GE Dryer's Burner AP3860983 PS1018620 - Duration: 11:12.

hi my name is Bill and today I'm going to be showing you how to replace the

burner in your dryer the reason why you might have to do this is because the

burner is damaged or broken for this repair we'll be using a Philips head

screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver warning before doing any repairs please

disconnect your power source so this is the appliance that we'll be using in

this demonstration it's a GE keep in mind yours at home might look a little

bit different than what we've got here but the same techniques should still

apply make sure you turn your gas off so we're going to start by turning our

dryer around so we'll need to do is remove these screws up here in order to

get the control panel off so now that we've got the back unscrewed we can just

slide the control panel over and we're gonna lift it up and we're going to put

it back in this space right here now we're going to open up our dryer door

and on either side there are two screws going straight up so we need to remove

those screws now and we're going to be using a Philips head screwdriver

take these screws out

now that we've got those screws out we can take the top off all we have to do

is just lift up and pull back slightly on the top and we'll set that off to the

side so now that I've got these screws out I want to close up our front

dryer door now I've got two more screws that screw into the front panel and I'm

just going to have to remove those as well and when you remove them just make sure that when you

get close to having them come out you catch some because you don't want to

fall down into the dryer there

now that we've got those screws out we

can tilt the front panel forward and once we've got it tilted forward and

separated from the drum we can lift it up over the tabs on the bottom and just

turn it like so because we've got some wires attached to it as well so now what

I'm going to do is I'm going to detach some of these wires here first one I

want to detach is this black one that's connected right over here and to do that

I'm just going to use a flat head screwdriver and I want to pry up

now I've got this plastic guard that's in my way a little bit what I

want to do just pull it slightly out like that so it's removed from the frame

and now I can move it out of my way again just don't move it too far you

don't want to break it a little bit just enough so that I can use my screwdriver

and pry these wires off

and we just need to unplug our white wire and we'll just pull that straight

out there so now I'm just gonna move this last wire here and once again just

pulling it straight out I want to reach inside of our dryer here

and I've got to get my arm in that little hole we're gonna have to push up

on the lever to release the tension and reach in with our other hand and now we

can just take that right off so now that we've removed the belt from the pulley

you can lift up on the belt that'll help us pick up the drum so the next thing

I'm gonna do before I take anything else apart is I'm just gonna clean out the

inside here so that all the dust is I've cleaned out and I can see what I'm doing

a little bit better now we've got most of the dust cleaned out so we'll

continue with our repair so now we're going to remove these three screws right

here

so now we can take out our burner and that'll just lift straight out now you

can grab your new OEM replacement burner if you don't have one already you can

find it on our online store and I will put the e burner back into place

carefully making sure we don't break the igniter or anything in the process we'll

put that forward and then we'll push it back so that goes over the orifice there

we're gonna line up all the screw holes and screw it back in so you'll see on

the back your drum here there's a small shaft and when you put the drum back in

you're going to want to make sure that shaft goes into that hole right there

there we go so it's a little bit hard to line it up

when you can't really see it back there but you can do the best you can it might

take a couple of tries to get it exactly in place there we go

after a couple tries should be able to get it in there and you'll see that the

rim of the drum is inside the frame of the dryer there now to put the drum back

on we're going to take the belt we're going to go on the other side of the wheel here

just like this and we're gonna lift it up keeping this all together and then

loop the belt around the shaft here

and make sure everything's on straight there we go and then everything should

be able to spin freely now just like that we're going to reattach that to the middle

this is a white wire that goes up along the edge of the door and goes to the

light so that's plugged in now and now at this last one you touch it right

there yeah now I want to put this plastic piece back into place so right

into that slot right there and we'll plug our last wire in and you're just

gonna make sure that these slight bumps there line up with the holes on the side

that fits in nicely and now I'll put the front panel back on so now we're going

to line up our front panel with the tabs on the bottom we're going to set those

into those tabs and stand the door up as we do that we're also gonna line up with

the drum and the inside of that plastic piece on the washer is going in the drum

and we've also got these metal tabs on the side they're going into the slots on

the frame so once those are all lined up and the panels flush we can screw it

back on so now we're going to get our screw started in this hole here and then

after we get it started screw it down nice and tight same thing

on this side start our screw into my hand and use our Philips head

screwdriver to finish the job now I'm going to put the top back on and you'll

see there are two tabs sticking out from the top there gonna be two slots that

correspond with them so I want to line all those up

so after I line those up make sure that the tabs going to the slots just like

that and there's a couple on the front as well so now we can screw that back in

so we'll put in our screw and with that little tiny hole at the top you should

be able to line up the screw with the hole that it belongs to there once you

got that started a little bit finish screwing it in now we're gonna put our

lint filter back into place since that came out a little while ago now

we can close our dryer door now we can line our control panel back up and slide

that back over and set that back into place and now we can screw it back in

now we can turn our dryer back around and then once we do that we'll plug

everything back in and your repair is complete now we can turn our gas back on

finally don't forget to plug in your appliance if you need to replace any

parts for your appliances you can find an OEM replacement part on our website

Pick Any Contractor You Want - Duration: 1:02.

This topic is gonna be on picking the Roofing Contractor to do your roof. When

it comes to storm damage—and the insurance company is going to be

involved to replace your roof—you as the homeowner can actually pick whichever

roofing contractor you want to do your roof. Once you hire that contractor and

send their quote in to the insurance company, the insurance company then has

to honor that price. As a matter of fact, if they don't honor that price, or if

they tell you they're not going to approve it, or if they tell you to go out

and get some other bids, because they're not approving that price, that's actually

considered tortious interference. Tortious interference is when somebody

with great influence like an insurance company tries to tell a homeowner or a

client like yourself that "We're not going to cover that," and throw around

their influence to make you believe that it's not covered in your policy. When

actually, it is covered in your policy! And at that moment they're in breach of

contract and what they've done is wrong, and you can actually take legal action

against them to make sure that you get everything that was deserved from you. So

that being said, go ahead and pick whichever contractor you want to do your

roof that you feel is going to do the best job.
