series on how to create your hormonal
balance naturally and so today is part
two and we're going to specifically talk
about simple lifestyle changes that will
greatly improve your hormonal balance so
let me give you a little recap of what
we talked about yesterday yesterday it
in last week's part on how you speak and
feel about your lady parts along with
moving into your feminine energy so if
you have not seen that seem that or or
listen to that recording go to while be

something about hormonal balance on it's
the second one down and i highly suggest
you check out because these are all
going to build upon one another and it's
going to really all of the information
is going to be universal way on how to
balance your hormones because most
people talk about nutrition and the
nutritional aspects of hormonal balance
but there are a lot of other things that
people don't talk about and that is kind
of my mo right like that's what I do I
talk about things outside of the box and
think that people are typically talking
about
we will in in part 3 we will talk about
diet changes because I think there are
some important one to highlight and it's
the hook this whole hormonal talk with
really shocking to me as i started
learning more about endocrine disruptors
which is like hormone disrupters on it
was scary and discouraging and it also
kinda pissed me off because
just wait until you hear some of the
things that that screw up your hormones
like little tiny things that you use
every single day are having an effect on
your hormones
ok so you a part for which will be the
last part of this series is how to sync
up your cycle with your life for more
flow and ease so this is a really cool
concept that i did learn from from
alyssa be in woman code that's a woman
code and it's as we go about our life
and as we move through the four phases
of our cycle there's there's ways to
kind design our months that of help us
take advantage of what certain hormones
are being released into our system and
think that is really really cool so that
will be part part 4
ok so let's talk about these lifestyle
changes that you can start making today
to help bring your hormones back in
ballots so first is avoid harmful
chemicals and this one did really upset
me when I learned it because what I just
feel like we're kind of innocent victims
and a lot of these things so there are
chemicals found in pesticides plastics
we all kind of know plastics right
that's been around for awhile household
cleaners and even matches mattresses
contain disrupting chemicals that mimic
hormones in the body and keep the body
from producing real hormones and also
beauty products or this is such a big
one of these is a this is a huge source
of chemical exposure for a lot of people
there are tens of thousands of chemicals
and personal care products we encounter
daily and most of these chemicals have
not been tested for long-term safety
avoiding these products can make a
tremendous difference on your
unachievable hormonal balance so a great
way to start kind of shifting these
things is making your own personal
products so making a homemade deodorant
homemade motion
home do-it-yourself makeup if you're
really feeling adventurous so with this
one in particular i get to get rid of
all of the children that had aluminum in
then took me a lot longer to get that
off of you to be stick but he's now we
found a deodorant called jungle man and
it only has four ingredients in it and
it's not full of all kinds of other
chemicals because sometimes you'll find
aluminum-free deodorant but they're full
of other chemicals so they're going for
ingredients it works pretty well it's
the best one that we styled found and
that gives up big-time sweater big-time
Twitter and so getting my office music
was really hard on it's not going to
work like aluminum it's not gonna you
know you're not going to smell like
berries all the time but it's going to
do the job is going to do what it needs
to do and it's not gonna be like the
chemicals i'll just say that you just
gotta kind of get you that I know that
when I'm walking around the house and
I'm disgusting home I won't wear any
deodorant
there's also charcoal the owner and that
you can use my friend bread she is using
trouble yet children and she said she
absolutely loved it and then when it
comes to lotion you have that was big
for me because I was in live in colorado
i live in a place where it is very dry
and we use lotion a lock and so I was
shocked at the solution that I was
putting on every day multiple times AJ
was affecting my hormone could be
throwing me off and Cosby crams and I
used to have horrible horrible cramps
and EMS EMS was really really bad and I
was like mary had no idea that my lotion
was causing it so I now buy more natural
Lucien my body lotion and then myspace
lotion actually is all I used is like
holy oil i use a few different i combine
a few different natural oils like olive
oil avocado oil home boil
trying to think what else i'd put in
their coconut oil
I found the recipe online and I makes
that with a little bit of aloe vera gel
some organic elevator go and that is my
lotion now I have really dry skin and i
live in high elevation and so I need I
need something like that is that put
that on his skin he probably break out
so you have to find kind of a natural
option for your particular skin types
there are plenty of options out there
beautiful thing is we have interested
there's a lot of byi stuff and there are
a lot of natural products that are
coming out every single day so big big
big time there for sure
even when it comes to soaps and when
you're doing the dishes like all of that
stuff you have to take in consideration
and try to buy a lure natural version
because there are again there are
chemicals in there that had not been
tested and that are playing a huge role
in your in in your moans okay but the
second idea here is prioritizing sleep
so I can't emphasize sweet but not
actually in the wild be a light weight
loss program we talk about sleep on in
the very first class i mean i do not
mess around here sleep Trump diet and
exercise and without adequate sleep
hormones will not be balanced period end
of story and I'll prove this to you
because you guys know that when you
don't get sleep you are an emotional
roller coaster right hell does coming
out held that your AKA self-sabotaging
voices coming out she's being very
self-critical you're questioning your
every move
you're on the verge of tears now what
I'm saying
so you'll have to make your sleep be
number one priority in your life again
no matter what you eat
I mean aside from what you eat and aside
from how you move sleep is number one
number one
so what I suggest to a lot of my wild
realized temperatures is to create a
nighttime ritual that feels really
really good that does not include TV
okay i think that but so have your key
time some other time during the day but
do something like journal we take a bath
stretch do yoga just you something
that's really nourishing and slowing you
down and not looking at your facebook
news feed
I mean getting off screen is completely
it's really big an hour before you go to
bed and start this slowing down
connection with yourself process that's
going to really help you prioritize
sleep you want to try to get seven to
nine hours a night and the last computer
is exercise the right way so for women
who have a hormonal imbalance intense
extended exercise can actually make the
problem worse in the short term so again
we'll talk about this in part for like
with cycle thinking and things like that
but as you go through those four faces
of your cycle there are certain phases
that more intense exercise is more
applicable like when you're ovulating
when you're ovulating you got a lot of
energy
it's a really good time to do high
intensity exercise but when you're
menstruating and you're bleeding
it's not a good time to do high
intensity exercise as we talked about
last week at the time true
relax and think and they connect with
yourself
so that's what i'm saying is you have to
really tune in and do intuitive movement
how does your body feel not following
some strict schedule not following an
exercise plan that somebody else put
together for you i don't believe in
those things i'm all about intuitive
movement and all you have to do is when
you want to move your body put your hand
on your heart and say what's the most
loving way can move my body right now
simple as that and you either get with a
little vision or you'll get a feeling
like stretching or you feeling like
going for a job
you see what I'm saying I'm trying to
get you to open up the lines of
communication with your body here so
those are my three steps on how to make
some simple lifestyle ships to balance
your hormones again I look do a little
recap avoid harmful
chemicals prioritize sleep and exercise
the right way so let's move over to the

cool cool awesome so um do you have kind
of a night-time habit that's keeping you
from sleeping different is that we can
make that 0 at some respect yeah I
mother computers to about nine o'clock
and then i went up to the little bit but
it's by make it also completed about a
sari and then do some stretching then
mosey on to bet that we option i'm
looking at right that right right
awesome that's great um and there are
the great thing is there a lot of really
great videos on youtube I mean you can
get so many like stretching videos and
workout videos on YouTube for free right
now it's really a blessing so maybe you
could and that's the only thing that's
hard is like everything is on our phone
and I'm telling you to get off the
screen or you can buy like a stretching
book if you don't want to be honest on
your phone either
I do like workout videos like I do like
doing yoga videos on my phone
it's really really easy for me I like
the direction if i try to do it myself
and try to leave it myself of I
I don't know if it doesn't work very
well I get easily distracted i forget
what I'm doing and that's where i would
actually turn into my phone so I
actually like the yoga videos but if you
feel like it would make you want to be
online and go your Facebook or whatever
then maybe a stretching video or
something like that
ok i will check out the videos on
YouTube bank
cool okay is there anything else I no no
that's a lot for me to not put stuff
that's welcome it's not okay wait here
here's my last little bit for you Kevin
is um so say you want to be a sleep by
ten o'clock so uh I think you learn this
in the wildlife weight-loss program but
we talked about this sweet class is that
we much more equally if we fall asleep
by ten o'clock and so that's really the
ideal time obviously so what I would
suggest you do is at nine o'clock set an
alarm on your phone that sent something
like you deserve to feel well rested
tomorrow start your nighttime ritual and
that will just start to trigger you know
like remind you of this conversation and
remind you of what will happen if you go
to bed at a decent hour
I don't want to say early but a decent
time and that will you know you are
getting the right you deserve to feel
good tomorrow I wanna feel tomorrow have
a lot to do i need to be productive i'm
going to turn off the TV and I'm gonna
go take a bath and find a stretch video
and maybe journal in bed before i fall
asleep
it's going to really help the group for
my work with friends and loved ones that
sounds good i would do that

um i actually have been working on
getting to sleep earlier and it's
amazing the difference it makes it
totally makes the day go better
um and I wanted to ask you about the
crystal deodorant
Oh have you used that before um i have
used the crystal and I don't know again
and maybe it was just the one that I but
it didn't really do anything that great
for me
um but and that's when I was asked my
friend Brett just it was just on Sunday
uh she I asked her about the charcoal
because I was like well can you wear
white shirts with it and she said yes
it's kind of like a powder but you gotta
rub it in before you put the white shirt
on and I was like okay and she said and
she she said that she's a big-time
sweater big and so she says that the
short trouble has been working really
really well for her
so if you get the crystal and you feel
like it's not really doing much maybe
check out the charcoal or try jungle man
definitely is this okay and so and there
is a difference between an
antiperspirant and deodorant brand from
what I other notice that it's good to
perspire yes but also I think that
crystal just helps with the deodorant
aspect of it right you're still gonna
sweat
yes she's not gonna stink yes you want
your first by alright just think about
it from an intuitive place right like
this is think about that we are designed
to sweat our are the biggest organ in
our body is our skin and it's constantly
is a porous organ like it's constantly
getting rid of dead dead skin cells and
that's why exfoliating is so great and
like it's porous it's meant to excrete
things and if we are constantly putting
something under armpit that's clogging
matter
up I mean they are saying that deodorant
and antiperspirant could be a cause of
breast cancer and breast cancer is so
huge validates and when I went and got
that mind abdominal massage something
that she really encouraged me to do I
three is to massage massage my armpits
massage my windows around that even
massaged my breasts she said that's so
important and i love this you sent the
reason why women don't do breast exams
is because it's fear based in like
exactly nobody does it because they're
afraid but if every day you could just
massage massage your breasts do not be
afraid of touching your breasts and
massage under your armpit and all around
it
I've been doing in the shower after i
put so far it's nice and slippery right
I've been massaging my armpit and
underneath have been massaging my
breasts and she's like and if something
shows up you'll notice right so it's not
like I'm going to look for a lot you can
totally see how that can be really you
don't want to do that
I mean that's the scariest like this but
I have been actually getting to take a
shower and do a little breasts and
thighs there's nothing wrong with that
we should not be afraid of touching our
breasts at all and so thanks for that
kind of segue there kathy has been
meaning to connect bring that up because
it does have a lot to do with women's
health for sure
yeah just calling it a breast massage
rather than a breast exams my wife it's
a whole different spin on it
right right yes exactly
