Aluminum Foil Treatment - Massage Monday #333 - Duration: 2:36.
Hi everyone, this is Yasuko and it's time for Massage Monday.
Recently I hurt my poor thumb.
It's most likely from over-work or I must have tweaked it during Shiatsu or something.
Then I remembered reading an article about treating the pain with aluminum foil which
supposedly provides an anti-inflammatory effect.
So I'm giving this a try.
You simply wrap the aluminum foil on the place that hurts.
For me it's my thumb.
So I wrap my thumb with the aluminum foil like so and leave it overnight.
When you do this try not to wrap it too hard or squeeze too much because then your thumb
is going to throb if you do that.
Aluminum foil must retain heat because I wake up with a sweaty almost pruned thumb.
You are supposed to do this for 14 days and have a break for 10 days according to Chinese
and Russian healers who introduced this treatment.
I have done it for four days in a row so maybe it's too soon to tell but is it working?
Maybe.
Because the pain seems to be little bit less than before.
Definitely not more than before for the amount of work I've been doing.
It's just I've been working so much lately giving 4-6 massages a day and I rarely have
consecutive days off.
So it's hard to tell.
So while I continue to do this for myself if you have any pain and if you are willing
to give this a try, please try it and let me know how it works for you.

Supposedly this works for a joint pain from arthritis, gout, neck pain, shoulder pain,

Today we're going to talk about wildflowers for bees and pollinators.
Wildflowers, well, they're easy to grow because they're native to your area.
So check with your native plant society or the Xerces Society, or Xerces, however you
decide to say it, before planting.
And make sure you're growing things that are native to your area.
Native plants grow really easily because they're adapted to your climate and your hardiness
zone.
So they require less care from you and generally less water.
Easier and better for everyone.
Wildflowers, depending on where you live, include plants like poppies, coreopsis, cosmos,
various types of clover and vetches, dandelions, which I know people think is a weed but is
actually good, and is edible.
Thistles, foxgloves, angelica, and lupines.
Most wildflowers are easy to plant.
Just sprinkle the seeds and press them into the soil, or lightly cover them with soil.
Water them well until they germinate and they should take off after that.

#MarchSpecial - How Far Do You Know Afifa "Ipak" Urfani? - Duration: 3:31.
She always comes with nuts but brilliant ideas and it is so important for March.
But I think, Ipak really needs to be more focus on March and finish her study soon.
This is pretty hard, because we all know if Ipak is in production division, and it is the core in this startup
but, half of her time are not spent for our production session. She occasionally stays in Bandung.
She really needs to attempt extra shots on this but somehow she can finish all of her jobs. It is good.
Recently, I am not that close with Ipak as she is so busy with her other activities. But I think she is a creative one.
The job description here really suits her well.
I've known Ipak since high school, and Ipak being Ipak, she is vibrant, so imaginative and always be on fire
She is the one who doesn't see any limitation in exploring things, and it is really good
because to fill the position in production section, in one news portal like March
where we always want to be different from the other news portal
we really need certain figures like Ipak.
It's not surprising for me to see Ipak stand in production division at March
because she always comes up with mad but fresh ideas, and she can deliver all those ideas very well
She really fulfills the requirements to be a production officer at March.
As a person in charge in production division, Ipak is really an imaginative one.
I really salute her due to her ability in turning her imagination into a real content.
She can describe her ideas and she can execute them as well.
Sometimes, when I have an idea to create something, I just can't figure out how to execute it
but not for Ipak, she is capable in turning her ideas into an end-product.
I see Ipak has a really good experience in building worldwide connection
and she makes a lot of friends everywhere. So in production team
she will produce more out-of-the-box ideas, which are different from the others.
Back to the first time Ipak joined March team, I describe her as a shark.
I make an analogy for her as a shark.
No matter in which place she belongs, she is the shark, the predator in the water.
At this moment, I am fully aware if Ipak is so distracted with her college stuff and her role at March.
But, what makes me so optimistic about her is, she will always be a shark in any environment
She has my complete trust on this.
Yeah, so let's just pray so that she will graduate soon!

After I decided I saw enough of big glass buildings

I visited Shaoxing
And that is where I discovered old China.
City of Shaoxing has a plenty of touristic spots
and for an European girl everything was new
very interesting, exotic & oriental

Everything started with a visit to Old Town
and the famous writer Luxun's birthplace

looks totally different from any other I've seen so far
A yard is located in the middle of a house
with separate sections
While rooms are situated around the yard
You need to pass through every room in order to enter a next one
Finally they form a square shape
and there are no shortcuts
For example, if you want to fo to bathroom
you must go through kids' room, music room and study room
and finally you reach bathroom
That is why every room has something like a coridor
however that corridor is not physically separated
from the rest of a room

Pi Day – Let's Celebrate Mathematics | Maths is all Around us - Duration: 3:17.
Maths is all around us.
It's almost impossible to think of something that isn't made without the help of mathematics.
Buildings, transport, technology, medicine, even clothes and food…
…all rely on numbers, measurements and sums.
One mathematical number that we find everywhere around us is Pi.
Not that Pie, this one.
Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference, the distance around a circle or sphere, to
its diameter, the distance across it.
The circumference divided by the diameter is equal to pi.
No matter how big or how small the circle is, the ratio is always pi.
Our ancestors figured this out 4,000 years ago, and just by using maths they were able
to work out that the number pi was around 3.
Later, Archimedes correctly figured out the next two numbers, .14, using polygons.
Nowadays, we know that not only does pi begin with 3.14, but that it is infinite,
it goes on forever!
Thanks to computers, we have been able to figure out the first THIRTEEN TRILLION numbers so far,
and now you can even calculate thousands of numbers using your phone.
Luckily we don't have to remember millions of numbers and for most calculations
we can just say pi is 3.14!
Because Pi is all about circles, you'll find it every day all around you in any round shape
or arcs that you can see: in your eye, the money you use, a rainbow,
the ripples in water, or the bend of a river.
There's pi in the sky.
It's used in astronomy and when we fly.
We use pi in lots of ways to get around from place to place; in the satellite systems
that guide us, working out the speed we're travelling at with a speedometer, and figuring out the
correct size for the tyres on a car, or even your bike.
We can use Pi when eating pie - to figure out which slice gives us more munch.
Pi is even present right this minute as you watch this!
It's used for improving the video signals in your home, and because it's used in measuring waves
in light, sound, electronics & computers, it's right here on the screen!
Although we don't need to remember all the numbers in pi,
some people like to learn them just for fun.
In 2015 in India Rajveer Meena sat for 10 hours wearing a blind fold and remembered
70,000 digits!
So whether it's pi in the sky, pi in your eye, or pi in your pie,
pi is a part of our everyday lives…
…proving again that maths really is all around us.

But from our experience, a lot of brands don't really maximise the opportunities they have

Kittywampus.
It's a variant of Catawampus which dictionary.com says can be used as an adjective meaning askew
or awry or as an adverb meaning diagonally or obliquely.
So you could say we took a short cut and went catawampus across the field.
You could also say this frame is catawampus, and now it's only kittywampus because kitties
