Bam.

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.

Coming at you.

Ding!

Hey, it's Marie Forleo and you are watching MarieTV, the place to be to create a business

and life you love.

Now, if you've ever lost motivation because you're afraid your dreams are just too unrealistic,

this one is for you.

Today's question comes from Bree who writes:

"Hey, Marie.

You're such an inspiration.

I so respect your advice."

Thank you.

"Here's my situation.

My whole life I've had big dreams and lots of ambition, then this little word started

to pop up from people around me: unrealistic.

For example, I wanted to work in publishing and was told that was unrealistic.

There were so many obstacles and so few jobs.

However, I now work for the second largest publishing company in the world.

But there's a new dream I want to pursue and I can already hear the cacophony of voices

in my head insisting this dream is unrealistic.

A certain level of realism is necessary, but too much can create self doubt.

So Marie, how do I handle not only hearing from others how unrealistic my dream is, but

also not let myself drown out my own desires?

Thank you so much.

Bree."

I love this question so much, Bree.

Every single one of us who both dreams and creates things faces voices of dissent both

from people that we know, from people that we don't know, and very often the most deadly

comes from within.

And if we don't take a thoughtful, conscious approach to taking on our unrealistic dreams,

they just ain't gonna happen.

But if you are up for the challenge, and I think you are, here are five steps that can

help.

Step number one is frame your dream, and here's what this means.

We can't become what we can't envision.

So when I say frame your dream, what I mean is I want you to take a picture of it in your

mind's eye in vivid, specific detail, and then what I want you to do is translate that

picture into words, meaning write down that big, unrealistic dream.

And I know that you may have heard about the power of writing things down before, but the

truth is, most people just don't do it, which is so crazy because the research is conclusive

on this.

There was a study done by Dr. Gail Matthews that shows that you are 42% more likely to

achieve your goals if you write them down.

So what I want you to do is whip out your journal or hop on that keyboard and get writing.

Step number two is filter opinions and fend off negativity.

You've got to take responsibility for the energy that you allow in your life.

I want you to fend off negativity as much as humanly possible.

You know, we know so much more about the brain than we did just 20 years ago.

Neuroscience has taught us incredible things like that our brains are continuously shaped

by our thoughts and our experiences, and you know this to be true.

I mean, negativity is one of the most toxic forces on the planet.

It's toxic for your brain, for your nervous system, and for your ability to stay motivated.

So do me this favor, okay?

Do not solicit or listen to the opinions of people who are notorious for just being Debbie

Downers.

The one mistake that I've seen people make consistently is they almost habitually talk

to the exact person who is the most likely to shoot them down and make them feel like

crap.

So don't do that.

And here's another key, I want you to always, always, always consider the source, meaning

don't put a lot of stock into other people's opinions unless they're actually out there

consistently taking risks and being brave and actually making things happen.

I mean, if you think about it, let's say, I don't know, you wanted to climb Mount Everest.

Would you ever take advice from someone who's never even attempted the summit?

No, of course not.

That would be crazy.

So don't take advice from anyone unless you really think it though.

And I want you to ask, has this person achieved an unrealistic or impossible dream?

Are they taking meaningful risks on a consistent basis?

Do you admire who they are, how they live, and what they contribute?

If not, do not use them as a sounding board for your idea.

Step number three is flood yourself with positive examples.

So once you've removed the negative outputs as best as you can, step number three is all

about feeding your mind and surrounding yourself with positive stories on a consistent basis

of other people who have achieved unrealistic dreams.

So think about Helen Keller, for example, who was blind and deaf by the age of two,

yet with the help of teachers she created this extraordinary literary career writing

hundreds of speeches and essays and books.

And there are thousands of biographies at the library or even on Netflix.

And the great thing that I love about biographies is you also get a chance to witness other

people's stumbles and their falls and all the failures that they experience along the

way.

Which, of course, stumbles and falls and failures, those are inevitable for all of us.

And, you know, it's worth noting that just about anyone whose achievements are worthy

of a biography or a documentary probably had an unrealistic dream.

So do this for me, feed your mind examples of people who speak out and stand up for what

they believe in and make change happen.

Step number four is fast forward.

So if you've watched this show for any amount of time you know this, I love end of life

studies.

And here's what we know for a fact, when you're on your deathbed, you couldn't care

less about what anybody who says your dreams are unrealistic says.

I mean, Bronnie Ware's research tells us this very, very clearly that the single biggest

regret people have when they're about to pass is this: I wish I had the courage to

live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

So Bree, my friend, stop worrying about what other people might think or say about how

unrealistic your dream is.

It really does not matter.

The only thing that matters is what you do about it now.

Step number five is focus on action.

So this, my friend, is the most important step of all.

Action is the antidote to fear and you don't have to take perfect action, you just need

to take any action.

Brick by brick, inch by inch, step by step, that is how all great things are achieved.

And you know my mantra, I believe everything is figureoutable.

And the best way to figure anything out is through action based learning.

So one more thing before we wrap up, Bree.

Unrealistic dreams are totally where it's at.

That's where all the growth and the excitement in life comes from.

After all, what other kind of dreams are there?

Dreams like this?

Marie, you will not believe the dream I had last night.

So reasonable.

I'm shopping, I'm getting all my normal vegetables, but they didn't have avocados.

I asked the manager, he brought me some from the back.

So realistic.

So inspiring.

Wow, that sounds inspiring.

I mean, you can do that.

I think…

I think you can make that happen.

So Bree, there you have it.

Five steps to help you bring your unrealistic dreams to life.

And if you ever start to waver, remember this tweetable.

If someone tells you your big dream is unrealistic, that's a sure sign you should go for it.

That was my A to your Q, Bree, and I really hope it helps.

Now I would love to hear from you.

What unrealistic dream are you working to bring to life?

And what, if anything, has been stopping you?

Prensa Hidráulica Caseira - Homemade Hydraulic Press - Como fazer - How to - Duration: 6:34.

This is a home-made tool that can be very useful in the workshop.

I used scraps of wood and two of 3/4-threaded rods that I cut in half.

I reinforced the base with an iron bar and used a hydraulic jack.

Let's see how it was done. At the end I will make a test and my observations.

Ok guys, here's the hydraulic press from Carcará Garage!

She was very sturdy and firm. The nuts were embedded in the bottom of the base.

This reinforcement is very important for the wood not to twine.

This reinforcement was an idea of ??my friend Amauri. Thank you!

If I realize that this wood will not resist then I will trade for one equal to the base.

Let's go to the test!

This test served only to demonstrate the strength of the press.

I'm going to use this press to gluing woods that I'm going to use on the lathe.

The flat surface will help a lot in the process of gluing the woods.

I used four threaded bars because otherwise the press might not withstand the pressure.

I watched a video in which a press with two threaded bars could not stand it.

With four threaded bars the press is very stable and strong.

When positioning the hydraulic jack, be careful that it is in the center of the part.

OK. That's it! A new Carcará Garage´s Homemade tool.

Leave your comment or question in English that I will answer you.

Greetings from Brazil.

How you are already making a big difference in this world // Motivational tale by Patrick V. Bentsen - Duration: 3:32.

hi! I want to tell you why you make a

difference in this world

maybe right now or have done several

times in your life. Every time in life

when you smiled someone greeted them

kindly just shared some nice words or

even given a compliment maybe gift

maybe you helped someone out. Every single time

this happened someone's life just felt a

little better

it boosted someone. Boosted someone's

feeling of worth and value. Give a bit of

extra energy and confidence.

There are many of these moments in all of our lives

and every time this happens

could be the trigger of someone just building

up the courage to and the feel good to

do something great, make a decision that

had a huge impact or just a small

decision based on your smile that has an

impact on someone else that has an

impact another one and another one and so on.

The smallest kind acts

of kindness make a huge difference.

And that's only talking about the moments

where these things happen, but consider

the fact that a smile, a gift, kind words so on

its stores in the memory of people

it's stored. So every time someone

recalls one of these boosted moments

can actually it can trigger

another boost. So there's a huge

potential in one single little kind action

one little smile. You can never say

what this could create in the web of

people because we are all linked

everybody's linked. You affect people all the time

we affect people of all the time

it's amazing

so just know this. You make a difference

you make a big difference and you might

not have a clue to how much.

So yeah

just remember that when you get a chance to smile at someone or help out, say something nice.

You can help change the world.

yeah ... ah ...itseh... that's it. , I eh...

it was spontaneous but important

and eh of course

trust the world and hunt your dreams. Ciao!

Who is Cressida Bonas? All you need to know about Prince Harry's girlfriend - Duration: 4:12.

Cressida Bonas has been launched into the public eye ever since Prince Harry chose her

as his girlfriend.

And their relationship has largely remained a mystery, with brief snaps of them on holidays

and trips away together.

But now rumours have been sparked that Britain's most eligible bachelor is ready to pop the

question to the 24 year-old.

Whether there is any truth in that or not, the pair look more loved up than ever.

But who exactly is the aristocrat's daughter who caught our young Royal's eye?Cressida,

or Cressy as she is known to close family and friends, was born on February 18 1989

to Jeffrey Bonas and Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon.

Mary-Gaye, daughter of the late Earl Howe, and Jeffrey were married for six years but

Mary-Gaye has had three other husbands and four other children.

Cressida is descended from King Charles II.

Her sister Pandora is the eldest of the bunch of siblings, at 40-years-old.

She is Cressida's half-sister from her mother's first marriage to the late Esmond Cooper-Key.

Next are artist Georgina, Isabella, and Jacobi, three half-siblings from Mary-Gaye's second

marriage to businessman John Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe.

Georgina is an artist, Isabella, also known as Bella, is an actress and Jacobi is one

of Britain's most eligible bachelors.

Isabella was thrown into the limelight when Prince William was rumoured to have feelings

for her, before he married Kate.

But she is has since gone on to marry Sam Branson.Cressida Bonas is very good friends

with Princess Eugenie of York, and they are often pictured together at parties in London.

It is believed that Princess Eugenie introduced the pair. The two of them started dating in

June last year, when they were snapped together after the premiere of the Dark Knight Rises,

and their relationship seemed quite turbulent for the first year.

They seem to have settled down now and have even sparked rumours that the Prince is ready

to propose after Cressida spent the weekend at the Queen's Sandringham Estate with him.Cressida

was educated at the 30,000-a-year Stowe School in Buckingham, before going to Leeds

University to study dance.

She played Desdemona in Othello while at university, the show was later taken to the Edinburgh

Festival.

She used to date Harry Wentworth-Stanley, 23, whose stepfather, the Marquess of Milford

Haven (George Milford Haven), is a cousin of the Queen.

Due to her friendship with Princess Eugenie, she would fit in well with the Royals and

her care-free attitude means she is a great match for Harry. They were first snapped together

after the premiere of the Dark Knight Rises last year.

But since then their appearances together have been few and far between.

The pair jetted to romantic Necker Island in the Caribbean as part of a larger group

in August last year.

But just weeks later, Harry was photographer naked in Las Vegas - which reportedly drove

his girlfriend to dump him temporarily.

After getting back together, they were spotted at a series of events in London and recently

they went to a James Blunt concert together. Most recently, Harry took the blushing girl to

Sandringham Estate this weekend for an escape together - how romantic. If these more regular

trips are anything to go by, then very.

Prince Harry could pop the question any day now.

Everything You Never Wanted to Know About Snail Sex | Deep Look - Duration: 4:03.

No surprise that in love, garden snails like to take it slow.

But this isn't some basic boy-meets-girl story.

Snails are hermaphrodites.

They have both boy and girl parts.

You might think that makes life simpler.

But not... so... fast.

Snails are deaf and basically blind.

Their eyes really only see shadows.

So snails rely on taste and smell to find a partner.

They just follow the slime.

Gliding along, until...

Bada-BOOM.

They get pretty cozy... touching, tasting, smelling, for hours...

But these snails are about to have a battle of the sexes.

Even though they're both both sexes.

The first shot is a secret love dart.

Before the real action starts, they stab each other with these tiny spears that are normally

hidden inside their bodies.

Different species have different shaped darts.

There it is.

The dart delivers hormones that will stimulate it to accept sperm.

It's made of calcium carbonate, the same as the snail's shell...hard and sharp, like

a needle.

Things really heat up from there.

That thing is called the everted atrium.

It's like a rubber glove slowly turning inside out...until...

Yep, that's exactly what you think it is.

Once they get lined up, the snails swap sperm.

You take some of mine, I take some of yours.

But this battle isn't over.

The snails' bodies go on the attack, killing most of the other snail's sperm before they

get to the eggs.

See, whether you're one sex—or both—fatherhood is easy.

It's the cheapest way to produce offspring.

Motherhood, that's hard work.

So both snails want to be more father than they are mother.

That's where the love dart comes in.

Its hormones help protect the sperm, so more of them survive in the other snail's body.

The snail that fires the best shot has the edge in passing on his...her….their genes.

In about two weeks… the snails lay eggs underground.

Those are the baby snails moving around inside.

They hatch and eat what's left of their egg.

Before heading out into the world.

Very slowly, of course.

Hey guys, It's Lauren.

How To Run And Manage A Vineyard (Sharing of Practical Experience From Vineyard Owner) - Duration: 8:08.

my name is Patrick Zimmer from Table

Mountain Vineyards and Winery near

Huntley Wyoming and our part of our

operation is a vineyard and winery

obviously but we also are a diversified

farm and ranch as well we kind of run

two different enterprises on the same

land but our entire acreage consists of

a farm and ranch as well as vineyards of

cattle beef cattle corn alfalfa and

grass hay wheat and silage corn as well

we're a pretty diversified operation so

throughout the different years we've

done anything from custom cattle feeding

running other cattle on our pastures dry

edible beans it just depends on kind of

our crop rotation and where we're at in

our enterprise so we host weddings

private events meals we've done

everything from birthday parties two

anniversaries to even a memorial service

so we're very diversified in that aspect

and it helps us generate interest in the

winery obviously create demand in our

products as well as just kind of be a

community center for the locals to

gather because unfortunately as towns

get smaller and smaller there's less

places that you can do things so that's

where we're at with that well that the

vineyard and winery aspect of our

operation is probably I think we run on

just a little over 10 acres compared to

the over thousand acres that we manage

and and having commercial agricultural

production but within that 10 acres is

probably ninety percent of our labor

force it seems vineyard growing

vineyards in Wyoming or anywhere across

the u.s. is a very labor-intensive a lot

of work goes into it a lot of hand

pruning there's not a lot of mechanical

equipment that you can purchase it and

so there's a lot of hand pruning hand

pretty much everything we do we have

about 10,000 vines every time we do

something to one vine we have to do

10,000 times so very labor-intensive and

then our focus is to make solely and

purely 100% Wyoming grown wines and

products so we make grape wine honey

wine raspberry wine but everything we do

is 100-percent Wyoming grown in terms of

where we planted grapes it kind of goes

along with how we built the winery we

planted in areas we can productively

farm we have vineyards in the corners of

pivots with the pivot swain there's

always that that triangle that you can't

really irrigate efficiently and get to

at least we kind of because of the way

our irrigation systems work so a lot of

our grapes are in kind of minimalized

places that were just basically either

weed patches or corners that we couldn't

irrigate most of the factors at least

for the crop land I guess our factor is

just obviously diverse it diversify

keishon crop rotation yields especially

for varieties of corn which which grow

in a very short season we're making

leaps and bounds with new varieties of

corn and so every year we're trying to I

guess focus on the new better variety of

varieties that are more suited to our

soil conditions and so I would say

probably crop yield the feasibility of

it how much inputs were putting to get X

amount of outputs out I mean we do have

areas across our farm that we have found

that just weren't meant for for growing

crops and they have a little higher pH

or a little less drainage and so we've

just really changed our thinking I guess

over the years and so much of pushing to

get every single acre into cropland but

really focusing on the acres at work

well sewn on crop prop habitats on our

property would include I guess

grasslands just areas that we've turned

into grass either for pasture or it's

not a true cropped we've actually taken

some crop lands and turned it back into

wetland and a lot of those places were

places again that we found that we

couldn't far

productively or we are putting more

inputs and we are getting out of it so

we have turned a lot of wetlands areas

over just to kind of in that natural

habitat we have three duck ponds here

nearby the winery and then we have one

large pond on our farm as well where

we've basically turned that back into

kind of what it used to be I think the

non cropland is very important to part

of our operation because there are areas

that just need to kind of stay in that

natural habitat we will turn some of

those non croplands maybe eventually

into cropland depends on the year and

the moisture but just as part of yes

keeping the soils keeping the nutrients

and kind of being able to rotate and

transfer through that and the non

cropland areas also are great I guess

habitat for wildlife wild turkey we have

been able to get on the property a few

years ago we had one and now I think we

have about 30 so all of those areas have

helped kind of expand that wildlife

aspect of it the deer doing very well

here which were unfortunately they like

to attack our corn and our our grapes

but we do get a lot of different

wildlife here and since we've expanded

the wetlands we also get a pretty stable

and pretty hardy amount of sand hills

cranes that come through at the end of

March and April and so it's kind of a

fun thing to kind of watch them as they

migrate through but we'll get thousands

of them at any given time just kind of

hanging out in the cornfield and near

the waterways the public perception that

habitats whenever you try and enhance a

landscape I think that's that's a win

both for a producer and for public

perception one of our agus desires when

we built a few of our wetlands over here

by the the winery and kind of the event

center was to take an area that was

probably not as site slightly as it

could be and to at least enhance that a

little bit it just kind of helps with

the overall perception not only from the

agricultural perspective but where we

are in kind of an agro tourism industry

through the winery it also helps tell

that

a little bit and get people to realize

that agriculture is a lot more about you

know just farming as much as you can but

also being a steward to the land i would

say probably in the next few years we

will obviously look at more water saving

features probably adding some different

irrigation systems pivots we're actually

looking at subsurface irrigation some

just kind of new techniques especially

in areas that are prone to being

waterlogged or don't drain as well and

again just kind of focusing on on the

area that we have and and just trying to

improve the area as a whole as well as I

industry like we have for generations

Funny Jokes #61 - I TOOK WHAT I WANT - Jokes for kids - Duration: 1:41.

I TOOK WHAT I WANT

One summer's evening Paddy & Mick are on their way to the pub for their usual drink.

"I'm a bit tired tonight," says Mick.

"I think I'll just have a little lie down in this ditch and have a little sleep.

You can wake me up on your way home later."

"Right, you are," says Paddy, and they separate.

At the end of the evening, Paddy comes out of the pub and starts walking back to collect

Mick from his ditch.

He hasn't gone far when Mick rolls up beside him driving a big shiny Volvo.

"Where did you get that lovely car from?!" asks Paddy, astonished.

"Well, I'll tell you.

It was like this," says Mick.

"There I was lying in the ditch having a nice snooze

and I had just turned over onto me other side when up drives a lovely lady in her nice new

Volvo and asks me if I'd like to come for a drive with her.

Well, I thought, why not?

It's a lovely evening for a drive.

So in I got.

She drove along for a bit and then turned off into a field.

She got out of the car, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want!"

So I took

the Volvo.

The Toilet Always Smells Fresh And Stays Clean ! - Duration: 1:46.

The Toilet Always Smells Fresh And Stays Clean !

Cleaning the toilet must be one of the least liked household chores but as much as we don't

like doing it we know that it has to be done.

Maintaining your toilet fresh, clean and germ-free is extremely important for the well-being

of your entire family but who said that you can't make this chore easier?

Instead of investing in expensive cleaning agents, loaded with harsh chemicals, why don't

you try the following homemade toilet cleaner?

It will neutralize the odors, eliminate the bacteria and make your toilet smell fresh

all the time.

Here's what you need:

Ingredients:

160g baking soda, 60ml lemon juice,

1/2 vinegar, 1 Hydrogen peroxide (3 %, easily available

at any pharmacy), 15 to 20 drops of any fragrant oil.

Directions:

Mix the baking soda and the lemon juice in a small bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix the hydrogen peroxide and vinegar.

Add this mixture in the baking soda-lemon juice mixture one drop at a time.

In the end add a fragrant oil of your choice.

Take a spoon and make half-ball shapes.

Place these on some parchment paper to dry.

These toilet fizzies take a minimum of 4 hours to dry, but if you aren't in a hurry, you'd

better leave them to dry overnight.

When they are completely dry, store them in an air-tight glass jar near your toilet.

Whenever you see that your toilet bowl is ready for cleaning, just drop a tab.

You can do this as often as 2 to 3 times a week.

Milder and sunnier highs in store - Duration: 1:58.

And now, for the weather updates, we turn to our Lee Jee-hyun.

Jee-hyun, we won't be needing winter gear again for quite a long time.

Storing them the smart way could be a challenge.

Let's start with some handy tips.

It surely is time to put away those thick coats and jackets.

Machine wash or dry clean all of your winter items, even if they look clean.

Then store the items in a cool, clean, dark, and dry environment.

Don't neglect your footwear, either, especially tall boots, by using boot shaper inserts or

rolled newspapers to prevent the boots from slouching.

You might not a thick jacket for the time being but you still need to bundle up tomorrow

as Seoul and Daejeon will have a morning low of minus 1 degree Celsius.

By the afternoon, we'll have sunnier and milder conditions in most parts, getting up to 12

degrees Celsius in Seoul while Daegu, Gwangju and Busan will top out at 14 degrees.

Warming trend will continue pushing the daily highs to the mid teens by the weekend while

mostly to partly sunny skies will dominate over the capital.

That's Korea for you, here's a look at conditions around the world.
