EASY COACHELLA / MUSIC FESTIVAL GLITTER MAKEUP TUTORIAL ✨💙 | QUEENSHIRIN - Duration: 4:46.
Hi, everyone! It's Shirin. Welcome back to my channel!

I'm doing a music festival inspired look.
If your makeup moves around and smudges a little bit throughout the day,
with this look, it's gonna be totally okay.
In fact, the messier you are, the better the look will look.
I'm super excited for festival season.
I'm actually attending Ultra Miami for the first time ever.
I've been watching the live streams for years and I'm just so excited to finally be there and experience it in person.
I'm also attending EDC in Vegas, so if you're going to be there,

If you want to see how to recreate this look, keep on watching and we'll get right into it.
I'm starting off by applying the Duo Lash Adhesive in Clear in a C-shape
around my eyes to serve as a base for the glitter.
I'm squeezing some more of the Duo onto my Morphe concealer brush to act as an adhesive.
Then, I'm dipping it into this silver glitter from Michael's, tapping off the excess and applying it over that C-shape.
You can see that the lash glue dries pretty quickly, so make sure to be quick when applying the glitter.
Then, I'm going in with this chunky glitter from Michael's on my Morphe deluxe shadow brush
and doing the same thing.
You'll see that initially, the glitter falls off. This is because it has nothing to adhere to.
So, I'm applying another layer of lash glue above the silver glitter and covering it with the chunky glitter.
I'm repeating this on the other side of my face, as well, because I like symmetry.
Removing the glitter is really easy because we're working with lash glue,
so you can literally peel it right off at the end of the day.
Now, you can stop here with the look, but for the sake of this video I decided to add a few more extra touches.
Please keep in mind that I'm not working with cosmetic glitter,
so if you happen to be using the same glitter from Michael's,
make sure to keep this away from your eyes
because you don't want it to get inside your eyes
'cause it's just not safe.
I already have on the It's Complicated Metal Matte Liquid Lipstick by Gerard Cosmetics as a base on my lips.
I'm picking up some more of the silver glitter on my Morphe concealer brush and dabbing it on my lips.
Skip this step if you're going to be eating or drinking because you don't want to accidentally digest that glitter.
Next, I'm going in with Coconut by Colourpop on my Morphe deluxe blending crease brush and
applying this on my crease in a windshield wiper motion to blend it out.
I already had Buck from the Urban Decay Naked palette on my crease and lower lash line,
as well as Jest by Mac on my lids,
but this isn't necessary for the look. I just wanted to play with color, which is why I'm applying Coconut.
I'm also taking this on a Morphe flat liner brush and placing it on my lower lash line,
as well as extending it up to make a wing.
Then, I'm connecting the wing to the crease by blending the color inward for a smoky effect.
I'm taking Ipster on Fleek by Colourpop on an e.l.f. flat shader brush
and applying it on my lid, the center of my lower lash line, and inner corners.
Next, I'm bronzing my face with Tarte's Amazonian Clay Bronzer on a blush brush from, I think, Target.
Not one hundred percent sure, but I really love this brush for applying bronzer.
I'm taking a little bit of Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer in Light on my Urban Decay flat shader brush
and taking this down the sides and bridge of my nose.
And, that's it! All done.

vegetarian I tried calamari, which is squid,

have two dogs, their names are Milton
and Herbie. They're really my parents dogs,

Hi I'm Steven and welcome to Let's Get Working.
We all want to stand out as the candidate that should be chosen for the job.
People go to great lengths to do this, sendingngifts, using decorative resumes, and many other gimmicks
These things work for some people, but only with the right job and hiring manager.
If you're applying to work for a company that only takes the best of the best, this
might be what you have to do to get noticed.
If this isn't the case though, I wouldn't bother going to these extremes.
Instead of focusing your efforts on being noticed, try showing why your suitable instead.
Here are some things to keep in mind when trying to stand out amongst a sea of other candidates
In every interview I've had, I was asked the question "What do you know about this company"
If the interviewer has to explain basic information to you about what the company does
and what the position involves, it shows a lack of interest on your part.
When it's clear you've done your research, you stand out more as someone who wants the job
You don't need to know all the ins and outs of the company
just enough that you can answer the question when it's asked.
When you search Google for ways to stand out when going for a job
the most common suggestion is to use your resume.
Some suggest using lots of colours, dividing your resume up with borders
one even suggested using paper that's bigger than the standard so it sticks out when placed in a pile.
There are jobs and situations where these sort of things have worked, that's why people suggest them
The problem is people see that it worked for one person, so they assume it will work for them as well
They don't take into account how that persons situation differs from their own.
For example, appearance is important in the acting industry, so it's common for people to have a photo of themselves.
In other industries though, putting a photo of yourself on your resume can lead to discrimination
and unfair judgements being made about you before the employer has meet you or even read your resume
For this reason, if you're going to try and use tricks or gimmicks to stand out from the crowd
have a think about why it was used and why it was successful for that person
It may not work for you in the way you're hoping.
I agree that you need to use your resume and cover letter to stand out,
but instead of focusing on aesthetics and decoration, focus on the content.
After all, what's the point of getting noticed
if once you're noticed, you can't prove why you should be hired.
This is why tailoring your resume, and not using a generic cover letter is important for each job you apply for
Make sure that the information on your resume supports your application.
This may be skills that could be of use,
experience and education that shows you've done a task or know how to do it
and achievements or accomplishments that show where you've excelled.
If you're called in for an interview you need to make a good first impression
They've seen something in you that has them interested, don't make them change their mind because of your behaviour
Earlier in the year I shared a post on Facebook about interview karma.
A man stole a parking spot and swore at the guy waiting for it.
Turns out the guy he was rude to was the interviewer he was there to see.
I don't know if he ended up getting the job or how this affected his chances, but
his behaviour would have certainly created an obstacle that didn't have to be there.
As this example shows, once you're at the office or store for your interview, be on your best behaviour
A careless word or action to or in front of someone who doesn't seem important at the time
could end up having consequences.
What you say and do during the interview is going to be a major indicator of your skills and abilities.
so make sure you prepare beforehand.
Having some examples that show what you've done, and how you've handled situations
will give the employer a glimpse into what you're like as an employee.
As well as what you say, how you act also gives an indication about you.
A positive attitude and good body language can help make a great impression.
This includes things like shaking the interviewers hand
eye contact when speaking, and not fidgeting or moving around during the interview.
I understand some of these things may not be easily or do able for everyone.
I don't have a lot of strength in my hands, so my handshakes are usually weak.
Just do your best and don't worry about it.
Make sure you have two or three ready to go.
Referees should be people that know what you're like to work with
as this is the information the employer is going to want.
Personal referees such as friends or family members can only talk about your personality,
but will have limited information on your work life.
Make sure you check with someone before you use them as referee, and don't use people
that are unwilling or won't have anything nice to say about you.
After an interview, showing that you appreciated the opportunity to interview for the job can leave a good impression
The traditional approach is to write your message on a card.
This may be more personal, but we're in the digital age so I think an email should be fine
You don't have to worry about bad hand writing, you can have it sent quickly
and you won't end up annoying people if they don't want to receive cards
A thank you note should only contain a small message not something that fills the page.
If you decide to send a thank you note, make sure you proof read it.
Spelling and grammar mistakes will make your message look sloppy and unprofessional.
We all want to stand out and be remembered.
Hopefully the thing that makes you stand out is a positive one.
When doing things to make yourself stand out,
don't so anything that gets you remembered as someone they should avoid.

Nalt lifted his clipboard like a protective shield.
The mechanical dog began to shake, smoke billowing from its hindquarters.
Nalt coughed as the acrid cloud began to fill the campus courtyard.
"Of course it is," Stokes raised an eyebrow as if daring Nalt to argue.
"What else did you expect it to do?"
The dog gave a low rumble followed by a loud bang.
Nalt tried to cover more of himself with the wafer thin barrier.
As luck would have it he had just the right amount of muscle tone to actually fit.
This appeared to mollify Stokes.
His mustache bristled as he knelt beside the patchwork pup.
After a quick inspection, he began the technical process of tuning its internal logic matrix,
the brass hammer clanging against its left haunch.
The smoke sputtered and died.
So did the rest of the dog.
"Hand me the precision omni-torsion adjuster."
"Omni-what?"
Nalt reached into an overflowing toolbox.
"The screwdriver.
. ." Nalt's brow furrowed.
He hauled out a screwdriver that looked more suited to battle than tightening screws.
He wasn't sure why a screwdriver would need four prongs, a serated blade and a small level,
but someone had felt the need to weld them on.
Stokes snatched the travesty from Nalt's outstreatched hands.
It looked tiny in his massive grip.
But then again Stokes was the kind of man that could use a shovel as a spoon and nobody
would notice.
Nalt pushed his safety glasses further up on his thin nose and took a long step back,
half expecting . . . Well, he didn't know what he was expecting.
But safety protocall stated that when assisting a senior Mechanist the recomended distance
to stand was 'Keep running.'
After the contraption had managed not to dismember anyone for several seconds, Nalt worked up
his courage.
"Uh, sir?"
Stokes didn't bother looking up from his impromtue surgery.
"Yes, Mr. Knobs?"
"Nalt, sir.
It' just.
. . What, if you don't mind my asking, is the intended purpose of this . . . dog?"
It was a stretch to call the thing a dog.
But under the riveted metal, patches of glued rabbit hide, and various protruding cogs,
it was most definitely dog-ish.
It had at least four legs, what might have been a tail, and a face only a mother could
love.
Assuming she was blind and possibly insane.

"Your auto-feeding fork, for instance."
Stokes prodded at the small tubes and gears inside the canine's brain.

"Yes sir, but as a lawn trimmer.
And what about your self-aware top hat?"
"As I recall, they still use it for public executions.
Get to your point, lad."
Nalt set his jaw and plunged onward.
"What I mean to say, sir, is that your inventions never seem to serve their original purpose.

Stokes sighed and shut the brain pan with a metallic clang.
He placed an affectionate hand on Nalt's shoulder, causing his knees buckled and creaked beneath

You work hard, keep a tidy toolbox, you didn't complain when my ear wax remover erased three

Stokes tossed a third leather ball to his apprentice.
Nalt sighed, and in a fit of frustration hefted the ball with all his inconsiderable strength.
To his astonishment it sailed away in a gentle arc, heading straight for a second story window.
Dirt showered the two men from the spot where the dog had been.
A stream of smoke raced away, on course to intercept the flying target.
With a mighty leap and an aerial twist, the mechanized hound caught the ball between it's
teeth.
It flipped twice, and landed gently on it's paws beside the university's west wall.
Then exploded.
Stokes stared at the smoldering crater.
Bits of wall crumbled backwards into a classroom.
All that remained of the robotic pooch was a blackened skull, still gnawing at the leather
ball.
Students rushed about.
Some were putting out small fires, while others extracted a stunned teacher from the rubble.
Stokes tapped his fingers thoughtfully against his chin.
"Hmm.
You may have a point this time, Mr. Knobs."
"Nalt, sir."
Nalt peeked out from behind master Stokes, eyeing the chunks of what had just been a
dog.
"Perhaps this one is more suited for public service.
Give Captain Fergus a ring.
The City Patrol could always use a hand keeping the local riffraff in line."
Nalt looked at the crowd gathering around the classroom's new back door.
"Something tells me he will be here shortly, sir."
"Ah, very good."
Stokes took a deep breath of the smokey air, smiling like a child who had just made his
first slingshot.
"All in all I'd call this another smashing success, wouldn't you?"
Nalt put a hand to his temple as another section of wall gave way.
"I do believe it will go down as one of your more, uh, notorious works, sir."
