Playing Cards Wizard - Duration: 3:11.

Hi I'm Nash, producer from Iluzija Animation Studio

Although this project doesn't have anything to do with animation

we had the opportunity during one of our projects, to create a custom deck playing cards.

So our illustrator created images for the kings, queens etc.

and our designer prepared signs, numbers, letters and all necessary elements.

That was fun and creative part, but after that came part where designer

needed to arrange every single card, to put all signs in place

prepare images, backgrounds etc.

and all that took days - weeks, to prepare.

There wasn't any kind of template that you can buy and easily prepare whole deck.

And what if you want to change design of some sign, or change the color?

You'll have to go all over again.

While I was watching them suffer, I came up with the idea of having plugin template that can help out.

Whole deck of playing cards in one file and then with the help of customized macros

it can control all cards at the same time.

At the end when we wanted to print our custom deck, I've created a way to have all sheets with cards

prepared for printing with the click of one button.

Now having this plug-in working I realize that instead of having the illustrations as images,

I can put images of my friends or family

and have full deck of cards with them prepared in no time.

You can make whatever deck you want in minutes.

Of course, this doesn't replace that creative part.

You go ahead and create illustrations, drawings, signs

whatever you want,

but let playing cards Wizard to help you out with colors, sizes, spaces, arrangements and preparations.

Playing cards Wizard is an extension for Photoshop but don't let that scare you.

Don't run away!

If you are a pro you will see that you have all the power over design of your deck

but if you're someone who just wants simply to have your custom deck with your favorite theme,

you only need to know a few buttons. No need for knowledge of Photoshop.

Of course there is a adventage if you know few features,

but it's definitely not required.
