But I have to admit that it was important for me to win – Yes right – So this is a lot of fun

those are really famous and

well-known Korean street food

so let me just introduce one by one

all right! this one is 'Tteok-bok-ki'

which is made of spicy sauce with rice cake

we say simply like spicy fried rice cake

Second, this is like pork sausage in Korean version

this is called 'Sundae'

yeah if you see it yes this is called 'Sundae'

if you look close to it

it's pork sausage filled up with potato noodles

u know what is potato noodles, right?

This is a pork river which tastes like

Fish cake soup yes it's salty flavored fish cake soup!

this one is spicy fried chicken

Those are the deep fries

so it's like squid fries

this is a seaweed fries

look at this fries it's only available in Korea

this is called seaweed fries

it's filled with potato noodle

and this one is called 'Kimbap' as you can see it's

pretty same as japanese sushi

but we Korean believes that it's not the same food as sushi

but for Westerns I think

they'd think it's almost the same dishes

so now i'm going to try each one of them

and tell you what it tastes like

You may think this is spicy, right?

because of the color 'full of redness'

but it's it's not the spicy

it's more like sweet

it has good texture of rice cake

when i was in elementary school I always purchased,

I mean, I always had them after the school

so Every kids in Korea, they love

'Tteok-bok-ki', 'Sundae' and 'Tuikim' and all of those

Yeah, this is like hamburger or pizza in Korean version

The cheap, unhealthy junk foods

Next one, I'm going to try 'Sundae', Korean sausage

And the tip I can tell you is

that you can dip any of those into 'Tteok-bok-ki' sauce

this one is really sweet and nice

So Most Koreans they just dip the 'Sundae', right here

why are you stealing my food?

Sibong doesn't share food!!!

Sibong doesn't share food!!!

The fish cake~

whoo I love fried chicken

Do you know what is 'Chi-meak?'

'Chi-meak' means chicken with beers and

it's one of favorite Korean dishes

it's really well-matched like fried chicken with beers

I personally don't drink alcohol

so I only, I mean when I have chicken

I mostly drink Fanta with

And unlike western Sausage

this one doesn't have meat in it

it's fill up with the potato noodles

yeah I think those are the same

potato noodles in it

but this one is deep fried.

Deep fried seaweed

all right I think if someone is bothering

ok this is 'Kimbap'

The Korean sushi, this is my special one

I put spicy pork in it.

Normally, they don't have pork in between but this one..!

yeah i order something special today

so happy

yeah so beside the kimchi and

Bibimbap and Korean BBQ,

I wanted to let you know guys that

there's more versatile Korean food

THE FINANCIAL REGRET I DON'T WANT TO HAVE | Financially Fabulous with Limor - Duration: 8:25.

welcome to another financially fabulous

episode i'm Limor and i've gotta tell

ya you do not have to be a financial

planner to be crushing it with your

finances I'm not in today's episode I'm

going to talk about the one financial

regret that I never want to have come on

this will be interesting

here's my secret so regret I don't want

to have come in real close I do not want

to be a poor old lady I don't want to be

one of those old ladies who have no

money living below the poverty line and

I know maybe that sounds like super

crazy but it's actually been something

that's near and dear to my heart for

really long time honestly when I see

ladies in their late 60s 70s 80s or even

90s in a poor or a sad financial

situation honestly it just it breaks my

heart the Canadian labour congress in

2015 announced that women are twice as

likely twice as likely to end up in

poverty than men will in their senior

years in their old age they went on to

further say that thirty percent of women

who are elderly and living on their own

are living below the poverty line now I

know 2015 okay so it was two years ago

but trust me not too much has changed

and it's like this unfortunately in

Canada in States in the UK and Australia

this is an issue that we face and a

challenge that we have all over the

world honestly it makes me so incredibly

sad just to think about it that's why

that's one of my biggest regrets would

be if I were to end up in that situation

because I didn't plan for it I don't

know maybe that's part of why for so

many years now I've been so focused on

money and preparing for the future and

learning about real estate and being

able to stand on my own two financial

feet for the rest of my life but it's

something that happens unfortunately to

so many of us and the reason why well

there's a number of different factors

first of all women and you know make

less money than men there have been

stats all over the place it's proven

and shown time and time again that in

many many instances in the exact same

role all different kinds of roles men

make more money than women now this is not in

every single scenario

but there's lots of numbers to support

that that's actually the fact then on

top of that women we're the one who have

kids so we take the break in our careers

we step away from continuing to climb

our corporate ladder or our career ladder

and so that interruption has a big

financial impact then in many instances

we take jobs that are maybe more

flexible maybe less hours move towards

more part-time role so that we can be

more available for kids and families now

I haven't gone through that phase yet

but I see it all around me and for many

roles that are part time or if more

flexible there is perhaps less benefits

so maybe less pensions as well as well

pensions are dying anyways but even

matching programs like there's no

matching program if you're just work in

the simple part time job usually the

bigger corporate environments where

they have the matching program so all of

those elements together put women

further behind financially and then when

we get to our retirement years or the

latter years of our life there's a

greater chance that we might end up in a

sad or unfortunate financial situation

part of why this is such an important

issue and it's so near and dear to my

heart is because of my grandmother so

she by no means lived in poverty but my

grandmother lived in a totally different

world she never worked a day in her life

I like to call her a lady of leisure you

know she'd get her hair blow-dried every

week she'd have lunch with her friends

you know she would redecorate the house

it was just a different era and when my

grandfather passed away and he had had a

thriving business we sold the business

and my grandmother had a pile of money

and you know she had this big pile and

she lived off of it and lived off of it

and lived off of it until all there was

nothing left and then we sold that big

house that she redecorated so many times

and she have another pile of money that

she lived off of them lives office until

well there's nothing left of that either

and so fortunately for my grandmother

and my family my dad and his brothers

continued to fund her life and you know

she didn't want for anything and she was

nowhere near the poverty line but she

relied on her family and I know that

that was hard for her and for me as a

girl of my 20s watching this and seeing

this I really vowed to myself like this

can never happen to me I need to be able

to defend myself I need to be able to

fund my own life regardless of what

happens because who knows who I'll marry

who knows what their financial situation

will be in who knows if I'll have kids

if they'll be able to afford to fund my

life and I'm not willing to make that

risk so this is not a pity party ladies

this is not a pity party we shouldn't

feel bad or sorry for ourselves we need

to feel empowered we need to take steps

we need to start saving more we need to

start putting money away for our future

we need to be empowered we can learn how

to invest our money we cannot save our

way to financial few new financial

freedom we got save our way to financial

freedom that's an impossible task but if

we learn to invest if we start saving

right now we don't have to end up in

that situation that's the great thing

about being financially fabulous when

you're in your twenties in your 30s

you've got so much more time to be

proactive and to take the steps that you

need to in order to ensure that we have

fabulous lives regardless of our family

situation or how much money anybody

around us in our family has no able to

support us that brings me to my

tweetable today let's plan to be the

kind of old ladies that love our lives

come on I want to be one of those little

old ladies and I hope that you'll join

me you know those great little old

ladies you will be going on cruise ships

while they going out for dinners will

definitely be playing bingo but let's be

loving our lives at that point and that

starts with the actions that we take

financially today so my challenge to you

is if you haven't started thinking about

your future please know you are going to

get old I'm going to get old

let's start putting some money aside

just get started it might be super small

maybe watch a couple more of my videos

maybe put a little money in your

retirement please please please pay some

attention and just get started also I've

included it downloadable with some

declarations for us as women to declare

in terms of mastering our own finances

and achieving our own financial freedom

i'll also be posting them on my facebook

page on Twitter on Instagram and I'd

love if you tag some of your friends and

maybe even share and post them on your

own page love it if you subscribe to my

channel and definitely share it with

your friends and if you want even more

tips and tricks to make your finances

fun and exciting come on over to www.Limor.Money

Applying the Pareto Principle for Investing | Your Money, Your Choices by Susan Daley - Duration: 4:05.

Did you know that being lazy can actually help increase your wealth?

Say you've set a goal of saving $10,000 for 10 years and you want to know how to optimize

the end result the most.

The answer to this depends on a bunch of factors, including your current savings.

In this episode, I'm going to show you how to get the biggest impact for your bottom

line with the least amount of effort.

AND I'm going to show you that sometimes, the least amount of effort is actually HOW

to get the biggest impact.

I'm Susan Daley and this is Your Money Your Choices.

If you follow Tim Ferriss, you'll know that he is a big fan of the Pareto Principle.

The Pareto Principle states that 20% of the effort exerted produces 80% of the results.

You can actually apply the Pareto Principle to your financial goals.

Depending on the size of your assets, your financial strategy will either rest in putting

away more per month or reducing costs.

For example: take a scenario where two individuals are saving $10,000 for 10 years.

Let's call them Larry and Sally.

Larry and Sally are starting from very different places.

Larry has recently inherited some wealth from the passing of his dear, great aunt, so he

has $250,000 to start.

Sally is starting fresh.

They both need a strategy that will maximize their outcomes.

By just putting $10,000 into investments for 10 years, Larry ends up with $490,000 and

Sally $120,00.

Not too shabby.

However, they are both going through a bank where they are paying an average of 2.5% fee

on their returns.

If both of them sought out a reduced fees firm - insert plug for PWL Capital here

- they would end up with $533,000 and $126,000.

That's a whole $43,000 more for Larry and $6,000 more for Sally.

Another strategy is to increase their savings.

If both Larry and Sally put an extra $2,500/year away, Larry would end up with $520,000 and

Sally would end up with $150,000.

That's 30,000 more for Larry and 30,000 more for Sally!

Clearly, Larry, who has a bigger savings to start with needs to seek out a lower fees

strategy, whereas Sally?

She just needs to put a little more away each year.

Applying the Pareto Principle, being strategic means that you should focus on that one thing

that will result in more money for you.

If you are just starting to invest, you should focus on savings.

If you are are an established investor, the biggest difference will come in reducing the

fees you are paying.

The same Pareto principle can be applied to selecting investments - which I'll cover

more in-depth in a future video.

But as an overview, investing in a broad market index through an ETF or index mutual fund

will get you the best result with minimal effort.

There is also research that shows that this isn't only a simpler way to invest, but also

better financially, but more on that another time.

And here's a bonus for you: I've linked to a spreadsheet you can download that will

help you decide whether an increased savings or decreased fees strategy or a combination

of the two will work best for you.

Just click here to go get it!

Why Do You Use NASS data? - Duration: 1:46.

I see NASS as a really credible source of getting information when I need it.

It's also really good to be able to see trends.

We utilize NASS census data in order to be able to take to Capitol Hill and indicate

to them that we are in need.

So that we can get the better delivery of services out there to Indian producers.

I use the data in order to keep track of women farmers, particularly minority women farmers.

Knowing whether or not producers are growing in those areas, whether we're getting more

farmers, whether the number of farmers are declining, and how do we best address those

issues?

I use NASS data because, one it's very dependable, two it's because of the diversity that the

data provides.

I use NASS data all the time because there is no other source of data on organic farms

in the United States.

Basically because it's reliable, trustworthy and it's information that is very timely.

I use it in designing extension programs so that we target a particular audience.

It will help us target key areas to focus on in our efforts.

We use NASS data to show the need to support more young people getting into agriculture.

As a producer, I use the data because I want to have a better understanding of my industry

and where it's headed.

There's many communities out there who are missing – who are missing at the table,

and through this Ag Census we realize that's what needs to be counted.

How has native advertising evolved over time? - Duration: 1:24.

There's a number of different things that we call native advertising, and of course

the technology has gone quickly forward in the last couple of years.

Fortunately, ad tech, which is so mature, is now really able to be a useful tool for

native advertising so that you can keep track of users and how much response you've gotten

on a native campaign.

In particular, there's a couple of different ways that you can present things.

Some people will put what is basically an ad into the middle of a bunch of editorial

content and call that a native advertising piece.

Others will do something a little different where they'll make something that looks more

like the rest of the page, is clearly disclaimed as a piece of sponsored content, but links

to an article that is also hosted within the confines of that publication's site.

So it makes a big difference in the experience a user has.

And those kinds of tools are evolving and have evolved over the last couple years.

That, I think, makes a more seamless and less jarring experience.

And that stuff's going to continue to develop over time.

6 Simple Ways to Lose Belly Fat ❤ Based on Science - Duration: 10:28.

6 Simple Ways to Lose Belly Fat, Based on Science

Overweight does not necessarily equal unhealthy.

There are actually plenty of overweight people who are in excellent health .

Conversely, many normal weight people have the metabolic problems associated with obesity

.

Thats because the fat under the skin is actually not that big of a problem .

Its the fat in the abdominal cavity, the belly fat, that causes the biggest issues.

If you have a lot of excess fat around your waistline, even if youre not very heavy,

then you should take some steps to get rid of it.

Belly fat is usually estimated by measuring the circumference around your waist.

This can easily be done at home with a simple tape measure.

Anything above 40 inches (102 cm) in men and 35 inches (88 cm) in women, is known as abdominal

obesity.

There are actually a few proven strategies that have been shown to target the fat in

the belly area more than other areas of the body.

Here are 6 evidence-based ways to lose belly fat.

1.

Dont eat sugar and avoid sugar-sweetened drinks

Soda Bottles

Added sugar is very unhealthy.

Studies show that it has uniquely harmful effects on metabolic health .

Sugar is half glucose, half fructose, and fructose can only be metabolized by the liver

in any significant amount .

When you eat a lot of refined sugar, the liver gets overloaded with fructose, and is forced

to turn it all into fat .

Numerous studies have shown that excess sugar, mostly due to the large amounts of fructose,

can lead to increased accumulation of fat in the belly .

Some believe that this is the primary mechanism behind sugars harmful effects on health.

It increases belly fat and liver fat, which leads to insulin resistance and a host of

metabolic problems .

Liquid sugar is even worse in this regard.

Liquid calories dont get registered by the brain in the same way as solid calories,

so when you drink sugar-sweetened beverages, you end up eating more total calories .

Studies show that sugar-sweetened beverages are linked to a 60% increased risk of obesity

in children, per each daily serving .

Make a decision to minimize the amount of sugar in your diet, and consider completely

eliminating sugary drinks.

This includes sugar-sweetened beverages, fruit juices and various high-sugar sports drinks.

Keep in mind that none of this applies to whole fruit, which are extremely healthy and

have plenty of fiber that mitigates the negative effects of fructose.

The amount of fructose you get from fruit is negligible compared to what you get from

a diet high in refined sugar.

If you want to cut back on refined sugar, then you must start reading labels.

Even foods marketed as health foods can contain huge amounts of sugar.

2.

Eating more protein is a great long-term strategy to reduce belly fat

Man Sticking Knife Through Meat.

Protein is the most important macronutrient when it comes to losing weight .

It has been shown to reduce cravings by 60%, boost metabolism by 80-100 calories per day

and help you eat up to 441 fewer calories per day .

If weight loss is your goal, then adding protein is perhaps the single most effective change

you can do to your diet.

Not only will it help you lose, it can also help you avoid re-gaining weight if you ever

decide to abandon your weight loss efforts .

There is also some evidence that protein is particularly effective against belly fat.

One study showed that the amount and quality of protein consumed was inversely related

to fat in the belly.

That is, people who ate more and better protein had much less belly fat .

Another study in Denmark showed that protein was linked to significantly reduced risk of

belly fat gain over a period of 5 years .

This study also showed that refined carbs and oils were linked to increased amounts

of belly fat, but fruits and vegetables linked to reduced amounts.

Many of the studies showing protein to be effective had protein at 25-30% of calories.

Thats what you should aim for.

So make an effort to increase your intake of high-protein foods such as whole eggs,

fish, seafood, legumes, nuts, meat, dairy products and some whole grains.

These are the best protein sources in the diet.

If you struggle with getting enough protein in your diet, then a quality protein supplement

(like whey protein) is a healthy and convenient way to boost your total intake.

If youre a vegetarian or vegan, then check out this article on how to increase your protein

intake.

.

3.

Cut carbs from your diet

Carb restriction is a very effective way to lose fat.

This is supported by numerous studies.

When people cut carbs, their appetite goes down and they lose weight .

Fat vs Thin Man

Over 20 randomized controlled trials have now shown that low-carb diets lead to 2-3

times more weight loss than low-fat diets .

This is true even when the low-carb groups are allowed to eat as much as they want, while

the low-fat groups are calorie restricted and hungry.

Low-carb diets also lead to quick reductions in water weight, which gives people near instant

results.

A major difference on the scale is often seen within a few days.

There are also studies comparing low-carb and low-fat diets, showing that low-carb diets

specifically target the fat in the belly, and around the organs and liver.

What this means is that a particularly high proportion of the fat lost on a low-carb diet

is the dangerous and disease promoting abdominal fat.

Just avoiding the refined carbs (white breads, pastas, etc) should be sufficient, especially

if you keep your protein high.

However, if you need to lose weight fast, then consider dropping your carbs down to

50 grams per day.

This will put your body into ketosis, killing your appetite and making your body start burning

primarily fats for fuel.

Of course, low-carb diets have many other health benefits besides just weight loss.

They can have life-saving effects in type 2 diabetics, for example .

4.

Eat foods rich in fiber, especially viscous fiber.

Brunette Eating Salad With a Fork.

Dietary fiber is mostly indigestible plant matter.

It is often claimed that eating plenty of fiber can help with weight loss.

This is true, but its important to keep in mind that not all fiber is created equal.

It seems to be mostly the soluble and viscous fibers that have an effect on your weight.

These are fibers that bind water and form a thick gel that sits in the gut.

This gel can dramatically slow the movement of food through your stomach and small bowel,

and slow down the digestion and absorption of nutrients.

The end result is a prolonged feeling of fullness and reduced appetite .

One review study found that an additional 14 grams of fiber per day were linked to a

10% decrease in calorie intake and weight loss of 2 kg (4.5 lbs) over 4 months.

In one 5-year study, eating 10 grams of soluble fiber per day was linked to a 3.7% reduction

in the amount of fat in the abdominal cavity, but it had no effect on the amount of fat

under the skin .

What this implies, is that soluble fiber may be particularly effective at reducing the

harmful belly fat.

The best way to get more fiber is to eat a lot of plant foods like vegetables and fruit.

Legumes are also a good source, as well as some cereals like oats.

Then you could also try taking a fiber supplement like glucomannan.

This is one of the most viscous dietary fibers in existence, and has been shown to cause

weight loss in many studies .

5.

Exercise is very effective at reducing belly fat

Running Shoes.

Exercise is important for various reasons.

It is among the best things you can do if you want to live a long, healthy life and

avoid disease.

Getting into all of the amazing health benefits of exercise is beyond the scope of this article,

but exercise does appears to be effective at reducing belly fat.

However, keep in mind that Im not talking about abdominal exercises here.

Spot reduction (losing fat in one spot) is not possible, and doing endless amounts of

crunches will not make you lose fat from the belly.

In one study, 6 weeks of training just the abdominal muscles had no measurable effect

on waist circumference or the amount of fat in the abdominal cavity ..

That being said, other types of exercise can be very effective.

Aerobic exercise (like walking, running, swimming, etc) has been shown to cause major reductions

in belly fat in numerous studies .

Another study found that exercise completely prevented people from re-gaining abdominal

fat after weight loss, implying that exercise is particularly important during weight maintenance

. Exercise also leads to reduced inflammation,

blood sugar levels and all the other metabolic abnormalities that are associated with central

obesity.

6.

Track your foods and figure out exactly what and how much you are eating

Apple And Calculator.

What you eat is important.

Pretty much everyone knows this.

However, surprisingly, most people actually dont have a clue what they are really eating.

People think theyre eating high protein, low-carb or whatever, but tend to drastically

over- or underestimate.

I think that for anyone who truly wants to optimize their diet, tracking things for a

while is absolutely essential.

It doesnt mean you need to weigh and measure everything for the rest of your life, but

doing it every now and then for a few days in a row can help you realize where you need

to make changes.

If you want to boost your protein intake to 25-30% of calories, as recommended above,

just eating more protein rich foods wont cut it.

You need to actually measure and fine tune in order to reach that goal.

Check out these articles here for a calorie calculator and a list of free online tools

and apps to track what you are eating.

I personally do this every few months.

I weigh and measure everything I eat to see what my current diet is looking like.

Then I know exactly where to make adjustments in order to get closer to my goals.

Where should content marketers stand on the quantity vs quality debate? - Duration: 1:06.

Frankly, you can have both, I think.

The easy answer is that quality always trumps quantity, but marketing really only works

if you're consistent and keep doing something.

A big early part of my career was with advertising.

And we always used to tell people, "You need to be consistent.

You need to be out there all the time."

And we would only sell packages of advertising that would last for at least a quarter.

Whether that amounts to quantity, you need to be consistently reaching people with new

information.

And while a single campaign may get views for years to come, it's not necessarily going

to get views from the same person over and over.

And if you want to establish a relationship as an authority in a field, you should be

giving that person something new to think about on some sort of regular basis.

Watercolor Tutorial How to Paint Lavender - FREE 6-VIDEO WATERCOLOR COURSE - Duration: 4:34.

Hi!

I'm Sandy Holtzman; I've been a professional artist for over 30 years and today I'm going

to show you how to create simple lavender in watercolor.

In this video I'm going to show you how to create a simple sprig of wild lavender.

And the first thing that I do is I sketched it out just loosely.

It's a pretty simple thing; a lavender spray the stems straight and they might be rough

here, but I'm going to draw where I want my lavender to go here just roughly indicated

where I want my lavender to go and look what I'm doing with my pencil.

I like my intuitive pencil sketches, so I'm going to leave my pencil lines in and now

I'm going to start working with my round brush.

Lavender is mostly purple, so what I do is I have a mixed purple in my palate already

and I'm going to use the tip of my brush for this.

I'm going to make a few dots here, lay down some areas of purple and this is very quick.

My brush is wet, I want to get as much moisture on there as possible

laying down that lavender.

I'm not doing every single blossom, they take way too much time and I'm just going down

my stem laying in my purple.

The reason I'm stressing this about having a paint be wet is because I'm going to be

dropping some other colors into that lavender color, into this purple color.

I might call this intuitive mixing where you're painting on the page.

I'm going to drop some French auto-marine blue.

I'm going to load the tip of my brush with some French auto-marine blue and drop that

in.

I'm not going to mix it, I'm going to introduce it into the purple color of the lavender.

I'm also going to introduce some alizarin crimson; blue and red make purple.

Sometimes the introduction of this color mixes a purple on a paper, it gives the lavender

a little bit of contrast.

And in my paintings I like to place a complementary color in close proximity.

A complement to the purple would be yellow, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take

my quinacridone gold, a wonderful color and I'm going to lay in my stem and I'm going

to let it run into the lavender so here's my stem and then I'm going to go over that

with a green.

I'm going to drop that green in.

Again I'm going to let that green go right into the lavender, it's one organic shape,

and I just can't help myself at the end and I like to just do a little splatter and

I'm done.
