Amy: the rose family (me family) wanted to build a house of our own so, my dad wanted us to say with an old friend of his, which turned out to be shadow's family, the hedghoges

shadow: so she lived with us for 5 months while her family's house was still under construction, and by the way, (NOTE: we're in grade 12 not 9) and could you tell amy to stop trying to make me get into her pants, she keeps trying to flirt with me using terrible pick up lines!

as for me, i had to move to stay with my dad for a while, my parents are sorta divorced.

Amy: not me... i'm not even smart enough to gradate! T-T

Sticks: the rose family is now currently having a rat infestation in their house, so they now live with the hedgehog family for the next 2 weeks. (Amy this is your chance to win shadow. FIGHT ON!)

Amy: and i can tell it's gonna be a horrible stay (and i have no chance of getting shadow cause he's with maria! T-T)

English Lesson For Japanese - Grammar Rule On "Less" Versus "Fewer" - Duration: 3:00.

I hope I pronounced that

correctly

Sometimes there can be confusion between

using "less" versus "fewer" to describe

something even native speakers make this

error so I want to give you a couple of

examples of "less" vs "fewer". For example

"less" is used to describe things that are

intangible - intangible means you can't

hold them in your hand: time, love or a

nonspecific quantity of something -

those are intangible versus tangible meaning

something you can hold in your hand or

count exactly

let me give you an example of the

correct use of less since I'm trying to

lose weight I put less food on my plate

the exact quality of food has not been

counted it's a general intangible

concept of having less than I like and

so we use less since we haven't counted

the number of grams or cups or other

measurement. In terms of "fewer" "fewer" is

used for tangible things - things that can

be counted for example "I'm trying to

lose weight so I ate fewer French fries

than yesterday." The french fries are

little units that we can count. That's

the difference between "less" and "fewer"

and if you know that grammar rule and

you use it correctly you'll be doing a

better job at English than many native

speakers with this common error'

Hi its Z and I empower entrepreneurs with

executive mindsets to unfuck themselves

up today and today we're talking about

asset-based thinking and how it's truly

your magic pill if there were magic pill

to fix your life in your business if

there were one it would be asset-based

thinking you see asset-based thinking is

an action

it's a practice and it's a perception

and it fights continually the habit and

the mindset of our society which is

absolutely debt-based thinking where we

are looking at what we don't have what's

wrong what we need that whole keeping up

with the Joneses mindset the the

fear-mongering all of that is debit

based thinking and it doesn't serve us

it doesn't help us to our highest

standards and it doesn't create success

in our life so if there was a magic pill

it would be asset-based thinking where

whenever you encounter challenge we're

asking ourselves what can I learn how

can i solve it

what are the opportunities here just

asking those questions opens our mind up

to creativity and possibilities where

when we're looking at what we don't have

and what's wrong

it actually stymies and haults our ability

to think so asset-based thinking allows

us to be creatively solving problems

through stress and anxiety and that

doesn't happen easily so this is a

practice it's something we have to do

regularly and the more we do it the

easier it is and the more we do it the

more creative and successful will be so

The first time I heard about the gender test of baking soda, I thought it was completely

done.

There are a million and a different proofs, tricks and old stories that abound, which

supposedly help to conceive a certain gender or to determine the gender of your unborn

child, and I thought this was just one more.

I've never tried the test, but I have friends who have.The test itself is quite easy.

Put a tablespoon or two of baking soda in a glass.

Then add some of your urine to baking soda.

If the combination slips, like a soda that has been shaken, then you are having a child.

On the other hand, if there is no reaction in baking soda and urine, you are having a

girl.The science behind this idea suggests that the baby's gender changes some of the

hormones in the mother's body, which can then change some of the acid content of her urine.

If you've ever seen vinegar and baking soda together,then you know why acidity is an important

concept in this test.A friend who tested the bicarbonate gender test was convinced she

was having a baby.

Other tests and indicators had agreed with her, but baking soda told a different story.

Ultrasound was not definitive enough to say one way or another, so I was convinced that

baking soda was wrong.

Your baby is going to be three in a few months.Another friend was absolutely sure she was having

a child, and the baking soda agreed.

It turns out that she and her husband had a beautiful girl.

It is hard to blame baking soda for misinformation.

But we all want to know what's going to happen before it does, so I think we still go through

these routines and rituals (not to mention it's fun!).

Either way, it does not hurt to try the test, and you never know when it might be okay.
