Waching daily Mar 17 2017

Hey, what's up, guys?

Nick the Informative Fisherman here on behalf of Lucky Tackle Box, and today we're gonna

be breaking down Reaction Strike Kick'n Jerk Jerkbait.

Let's break this puppy down.

Let's break down the setup I'm using today.

I like a 7' to a 7'11'' rod.

A long rod is critical for making long casts.

Jerkbaits usually aren't very heavy, so I like a very limber rod, something that's going

to load up with a lighter bait and still make that long cast.

That being said, I'm usually using a moderate to moderate slow taper.

It's a very limber rod.

Bending directly in the middle's moderate, bending even back beyond there is a slow taper,

and then you have fast, extra fast, right in the tip.

I'm pairing that up with 12 pound fluorocarbon.

Fluorocarbon's extremely critical.

If you feel any change in your bait, you'll be able to feel if there's grass on there,

you'll be able to feel that subtle difference very easily.

That being said, I'm using it on a Lew's Speed spool.

It's a big spool, I have a lotta yardage, but the nice part is...and you don't have

to have a spool specially designed for long range casting, but the level wind's a little

farther away from the spool, which gives you a little extra yardage on your cast.

Really smooth.

Speed of the reel doesn't really matter too much.

You're retrieving this jerkbait by twitching, twitching, and you're picking up the slack.

So anything from a 5:3, to an 8 speed reel doesn't really matter.

What does matter, is that you have good drag, and you can pull it off pretty easily.

The reason for this is a treble hook has multiple hook points.

This is two treble hooks, so we have a total of six hook points.

Each hook point is not huge, so you don't get a deep hookup on the fish.

So allowing that fish to get it, and be able to take drag, and then you retrieve that line

in between is critical for not tearing the hooks out of those fish.

So how I like to retrieve a jerkbait is after I make that long cast, some people like to

reel it down, but I usually start of with a jerk and then a pause.

The pause is very, very critical for getting bit on a jerkbait.

Usually, you use a jerkbait in those colder, cleaner water, to where the fish are more

lethargic, and when they see a pause, it looks like a wounded bait fish.

So I do that one pop, and then I do that, one, two, and I give it slack line again.

At all times, I'm watching the slack of my line, to see if all of a sudden the line jumps

out.

Then I'm gonna strictly reel into the fish and lean.

That's how I get the hook set.

On a jerkbait, you don't need to, wham, set it home super hard.

Twitch, twitch, you feel it load up, reel into it, and lean on 'em.

That limber rod is gonna get that fish for you.

Now one thing that I've noticed about the Kick'n Jerk here, is that the casting system

is really nice.

The weight shifts to the back, so even for a lighter jerkbait, you're still gonna get

some extra distance on your cast.

That being said, a lotta jerkbaits have three treble hooks.

The cool part is, the lip's all the way up here, and that first treble hook's back a

ways, which is nice.

When you're down there digging around rocks, the treble hook has a lotta protection with

the front of that jerkbait.

That being said, what I've noticed is a lotta the time I have to take big rips with jerkbaits

to get the action out of 'em.

Well, my arm starts getting wore out at the end of the day and I'm doing this after working

a jerkbait, but with this Kick'n Jerk right here, I'm able to make subtle movements of

the rod tip, like this.

Little subtle jerks.

And that bait gets a ton of action.

I realize overjerking it, the bait's kinda losing control.

I catch 'em outside, how about that?

Now I'm getting this bait down from 3 foot, probably all the way to about 7 foot deep

on that 12 pound fluorocarbon.

If you wanna fish in shallower, fish it on 15 or 17, and if you want to fish it deeper,

drop down to something like 10 pound, and that's going to allow your bait to get down

deeper or run it shallower.

A side tip from that, if I'm casting up shallow, and there's grass there, well, the bass live

in the grass.

You want it near the grass.

But a lotta guys, they twitch it, and they feel it in the grass, but they keep going,

keep going, and you're carrying grass.

One thing you can do is put slack in there, give it a wham-wham, two fast pops.

But if you still feel like you're in the grass, raise your rod tip up and give it...just like

you're popping a crankbait loose, bam-bam, two upward snaps.

After you do those 2 upward snaps, 9 outta 10 times, it clears the hooks of any grass.

Pause it right then, because it rips outta the grass, and now it's right in front of

all those basses' face, and you would be amazed on how many upward popping it out of the grass

and pauses hookups I've had.

So I'm gonna give you a little bit of when to fish this and where to fish this.

Jerkbaits tend to excel in colder, cleaner water.

I'm out here fishing my lake behind my house right now.

I got about three feet of visibility, and I really call that the maximal distance to

start throwing a jerkbait.

I like throwing a jerkbait where I can see 30 feet, I can see 20 feet.

And the...my limitation, if I can't see beyond three feet deep, I'm usually not throwing

a jerkbait.

Now that being said, colder, cleaner water, jerkbaits excel.

I'm telling you, when that water gets below 55 degrees, that's jerkbait season.

And the reason is that twitch and the pause.

You're right there in their face.

They see a hard bait sitting there.

Very few people fish hard baits.

You know, you could fish a lipless, or a jerkbait, and that's pretty much your hard bait selection

in regards to wintertime.

So winter, early spring, jerkbaits excel.

The targets I like to throw to are shallow, rocky areas, or a rock wall.

Rock always holds that little extra temperature, and you're gonna find the closer you get to

the rock, it's always a few degrees warmer.

That being said, those bass are gonna congregate to that area.

They like to be next to deep water, okay, in the winter, and early in the spring, too.

Even before they start moving up to start looking for beds, they like to have deep water.

If you're within 50 feet distance, down to about 25, 30 foot of water, and there's rocks

within that same distance, more than likely it's going to hold bass, and they will be

catchable on a jerkbait at that point.

Main lake points, rocky areas.

Always pay attention, when that sun comes up first thing in the morning, pay attention

to what bank that sun is on.

Because that bank, that water over there is going to become one or two degrees warmer.

Then when evening time rolls around, you may have active fish pull up into that area and

would more than likely come after a jerkbait just like this.

Well guys, I'm Nick the Informative Fisherman, and that's the Reaction Strike Kick'n Jerk.

Funny Jokes #76 - ON THE ROAD - Jokes for kids - Duration: 1:00.

ON THE ROAD

After weeks on the road an over the road trucker pulled into a brothel.

The trucker walked up to the madam, slapped $500.00 on the counter and demanded "Give

me a bologna sandwich and the ugliest, meanest, most foul tempered

woman in the house."

The madam looked at the trucker and exclaimed, "Sir for this kind of money you can have the

best steak with all the trimmings and two of the prettiest girls in the state."

The trucker slowly looked up and with a tear in his eye said, "You don't understand, I'm

not hungry or looking for company, I'm homesick!"

Quick & Easy Way To Make Your Videos Interesting - Duration: 2:04.

One of the biggest challenges when

making straight-to-camera information

videos, like this one, is keeping the

viewer's interest. So, I'm going to show

you a simple and easy way to make your

on-camera videos more interesting. And

that's by using summary graphics. Well,

what's that? Well, it's what you're

looking at right now. It's a simple

graphic that summarizes and reinforces

the main point you're trying to make to

your viewer. The graphic can just be a

text title on a plain background, like

this one. But if you really want to make

your content engaging and memorable,

use an image that represents the concept

you're trying to communicate.

And that image could be the actual thing you're

talking about, like this summary graphic

from a video I did on webcams. Or it can

be a visual analogy, something real that

represents an abstract idea. And you can

have any number of summary graphics in

your video. It all depends on the number

of main points you're trying to make.

And these summary graphics are really easy

to create. You can make them in the most

basic of editing software, or even a free

online graphic service like, Canva.

Summary graphics not only make your

video more visually interesting they

actually make it more memorable, because

they help the viewer create a mental

model of your information, which makes

it easier to understand and remember.

A summary graphic is very much like a

sub-headline in a blog post. Well, I hope

you found this information useful. If you

have any questions about this video or

questions about creating informational

or educational videos for training, or

for video marketing, drop those questions

in the comments below. And if this is

your first time to this channel, please

subscribe. This channel is all about

helping you use the power of video to

engage, persuade, and educate your audience.

Thanks for watching. And I'll see you

next time.

6 Compelling Signs You've Lived Many Past Lives -tech and science - Duration: 2:38.

6 Compelling Signs Youve Lived Many Past Lives

Many people around the world, including Buddhists among others, believe in reincarnation or

rebirth, the belief that every human has a soul that is continually born again into new

life forms as it travels on its karmic path in order to reach a state of perfect enlightenment.

If perfect enlightenment is reached, the soul will cease to be reborn because it has fulfilled

its destiny of perfection

Have you ever felt that you might be an old soul that is someone who has reincarnated

many times?

Recurring dreams

If you tend to have recurring dreams, especially about people or places youve never met

or visited in real life but somehow they seem extremely familiar, that could be because

your subconscious is recalling experiences of previous lives.

Your intuition is highly developed

Intuition is believed to come from the ability to tap into wisdom and knowledge that isnt

readily available to all of us.

If your intuition is very strong, that could be a clue that your soul has enjoyed a wealth

of experiences that youre able to tap into.

You frequently experience deja vu

Memories of past lives dont just come in dreams.

If you experience deja vu frequently, with sights, sounds, tastes or smells seeming incredibly

familiar for reasons youre not aware of, they may actually be flashbacks from

times your soul has lived before.

Youre highly empathetic

Buddhists in particular believe that if you have a high level of empathy, youre probably

an older soul.

Older souls tend to be more sensitive to their own and others emotions as theyve had

more time to experience them.

Youre drawn to certain time periods and cultures

If you have a strong connection, or feel drawn to certain time periods or cultures, that

could be due to the residues of a past life, and likely a happy one.

You have unexplainable fears

Do you have an intense fear of something with no reason behind it?

Perhaps youre deathly afraid of water, for example, but youve never had an incident

in your life that would lead to that fear.

That could mean that you drowned in a previous life.

Messages From The Dead: 8 Important Messages They Want You To Hear - Duration: 12:53.

Hey everyone!

Welcome back to the Guiding Echoes channel.

I'm Nicole Guillaume your host and I am also a psychic medium and intuitive teacher.

In this video, I wanted to share with you the 8 most common messages that I receive

when I'm providing readings for different clients.

So there does seem to be a theme in the messages that come through when I tap into that other

side.

I wanted to talk about these today because I think they'll help you get some hope.

So if you have someone on the other side and you've been wanting to connect with them,

but maybe you can't afford a psychic reading, or you're not quite sure if you believe in

this stuff, hopefully this video will ease your mind and give you some answers that you're

looking for.

The very first message that I want to relay is the most common, and that message is simply

I love you.

I love you.

If you have a parent, a child, a relative, a husband or even an ex-spouse or ex-boyfriend

or girlfriend, when they get to the other side, they are usually filled with so much

gratitude for the different life experiences they had with the various different people

that they met on this planet.

So once they get to the other side, they're able to see the very important roles and lessons

that each person played.

Even if you and the person on the other side left on bad terms, maybe towards the end of

their life, the two of you weren't getting along.

Most likely, if they were to come through during a reading for you, they would tell

you I love you, or we're okay, or something to that affect.

So definitely, the most common message is I still love you.

The second message is I'm proud of you.

I'm proud of you comes through so often.

Because here's the thing, we all go through challenges in our lives, and losing someone

is by far one of the worst grievances that we will ever feel.

Especially when we're losing someone that we were very close to.

So the message of I'm proud of you means I am proud of your strength.

I am proud of your perseverance.

I am proud that you are able to get through this struggle, and that you are still getting

through the struggle and you're moving on.

So I'm proud of you as a person.

The third message is you're forgiven.

See, when people get to the other side, they realize that no real transgression ever took

place.

Because when we come to this planet, we're all just playing out different characters.

We're all playing different roles.

And I know that's really hard for us to wrap our minds around because when we're here,

we get very involved in our characters, don't we?

We get very involved in our stories.

So once you cross over into the other side, you're able to see the story of your life.

You're able to see all the main players, all the main characters, all the sub plots within

the main story.

So when they cross over, they're actually able to look back at all of the different

experiences they had, and they can see how even the difficult circumstances somehow served

them.

So if you did something wrong towards someone who crossed over, they're now in a position

where they can look back at the wrong doing and they can say well it was because of that

action that I learned this, or it was because of that action that this blessing took place.

There's usually a silver lining there somewhere.

But it's not until we get to the other side that we're really able to put the pieces together.

So you're forgiven is one that I hope will resonate with you, because it is probably

one of the most powerful and transformational messages that the dead have to offer you.

The fourth message is I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

So when people get to the other side, they are able to see the gravity of the hurt and

the pain that they have caused.

Even though they understand that we're all playing different characters in one story,

they now understand how much their actions matter.

They understand the emotional depth that they can cause in another human being.

And so they will come forward and they will often say I am so very sorry for the pain

that I caused you.

I am sorry for the hole that I left in your heart.

I am sorry for the wound that I caused, and I hope that you can find it in your heart

to forgive me so that you can move on.

So deep messages of sincere guilt and shame do come through during readings.

Because they are met with the reality of what they may have caused you to do.

You know, they may have caused you to start doubting people, or to stop trusting people.

Maybe they prevented you from moving forward on the life path that was right for you.

So once they get to the other side, and they change their tune, they come forward, they

apologize for what they did to stop you in your tracks, to hurt you, and often times

they come with a message of encouragement and motivation asking you to move forward,

because its only when you're ready to fully release the wrong doing that they committed

that you're able to fully move forward, and not stay stuck in that energy.

And that's what the dead want for you.

They want you to continue to move forward with your life.

You know, they're on the other side now.

They're able to see all the mistakes that they made.

They don't want you to do the same thing.

They want you to figure this out now so you can have a happy, healthy life, and live the

life that you deserve.

The fifth message is I'm safe.

And usually I'm safe is combined with I'm with grandma and grandpa, I'm with my brothers

and sisters, I'm with my dog, I'm with my friends, so I'm safe is there to give you

some relief and some peace of mind so that you know that they are in a place where their

needs are being taken care of.

And that also leads us into the next message which is I'm okay.

I'm okay.

Yeah, that's a great one to hear especially if the person who crossed over had some type

of physical ailment.

So if they had a disease or illness of some sort, a lot of times people who are still

here on earth want to know if the person who crossed over is still in some type of pain.

The answer to that is no, they're not in pain anymore They're in a new body, they're feeling

great, they're able to manifest things left and right.

They're fine.

They're good.

And they want you to know that.

So if you again have a loved one who crossed over, maybe they had some type of disability

or a severe disease and you want to know if they're still afflicted with that, the answer's

no.

They're actually doing very well.

They're very healthy and they're very happy once they get to that other side.

The seventh message is I'm with you.

And this can be so powerful, especially when you feel alone.

So when you have someone who is close to you, and they make that transition, it's very common

to feel that hole in your heart.

To feel that emptiness in your space.

To feel that emptiness in your reality.

And the sadness is so strong and so empty, that you wonder if they can see you, if they

can feel you, if they understand the sadness and the depression that you're feeling.

And the answer to that is yes.

They get it.

They're watching it.

They're observing all of this, cause your loved ones still love you when they get on

the other side.

They still exist.

And when we say the other side we really just mean that they crossed over into that other

dimension, right?

They're still with you.

They're still watching over you.

They're still embracing you, wanting you to be okay.

So while the dead may have limited resources.

You know, they can't just pull out their wallet and pass it through the veil and hand it to

us.

How cool would that be?

They often do their best to show their love in different ways, and they do that through

giving us different signs.

The very last one on the list is there's nothing you could have done.

This one comes through a lot.

There's nothing you could have done.

And this is a message that comes through when the people here, on earth have a sort of survivors

guilt.

You know, if you have someone who crossed over and they were very very sick and you

were trying everything you could think of to make them feel better.

Maybe they had cancer, maybe they had a flu, maybe they were older and had pneumonia and

you did everything you could think of to save them.

But they still died.

There's a good chance that you're feeling some guilt from that.

You know, you think that maybe you should have gone to a different doctor, or you should

have tried a holistic approach or you should have tried a western approach, or you should

have tried acupuncture.

There's all these different ways you start to punish yourself because you start thinking

what if?

What if I had tried that?

I could have saved him.

I know I could have.

But the truth is you couldn't have, because we all have different exit points planned

for us during their course of our lives.

And so if someone has crossed over, it's because it was their time.

So it doesn't really matter what you would have done, they still would have made that

decision.

Their soul still would have said "Yup, that's the time I wanna go."

And they would have they would have gone.

So know that there is nothing you could have done to save them.

They're on the other side now.

They're okay.

They're healthy now.

They're happy in a lot of ways.

They probably still miss you.

Well I shouldn't say probably.

I know that a lot of souls who cross over still feel grievance.

They still feel sadness when they have to leave someone behind.

And they do feel heavy in spirit, when they see someone mourning them, grieving them,

especially for a long um, long amount of time.

But they still want you and need you to know that it's not your fault.

That death is a natural part of life and it's hard to accept that sometimes, but the best

thing that you can do is be proud of yourself for knowing that you had the type of love

that allowed you to seek out all these answers.

You had the type of love that was so strong that you wanted to save somebody.

But you were not given the power of life and death.

Not in that way.

So be compassionate towards yourself.

Be gentle towards yourself.

And know that your loved on on the other side is okay.

They love you.

They're not blaming you.

And they want you to know that they are okay.

Why It Matters What Type of Millet You Eat | Chris Masterjohn Lite - Duration: 6:43.

If you watched Tuesday's

Chris Masterjohn Lite video on the harmful

effects of millet on the thyroid gland, then

you need to watch today's video, because

I have an important update for you.

Hi. I'm Dr. Chris Masterjohn

of chrismasterjohnphd.com, and you're watching

Chris Masterjohn Lite, where the name of

the game is, "Details? Shmeetails. Just tell me

what works!" and today I have some

important details for you because they

really provide important insights into

how this millet thing works. Last time I

told you about the epidemics of goitre

in the 1980s in the Sudan that were

clearly traced to millet. What I didn't

offer enough clarity on was the specific

type of millet. If different types of

millet were just different varieties of

the same plant, then it probably wouldn't

be a big deal. But millet is just a

generic name for small-seeded grasses.

And taxonomically, one millet may not

have anything more in common with

another millet than that they both

belong to the grass family. Pearl millet,

the most common millet in the world, is

what was being consumed at 30 to

70% of the diet during those

epidemics of goitre. There's another type

of millet called fonio millet that has

been shown to be goitrogenic, but it's

not a very important crop. In the United

States, as well as in a handful of other

countries, there's a millet called proso

millet. And in the United States, proso

millet is mainly cultivated as birdseed,

but it's also sold as a health food. In

fact on the Whole Foods Market blog, they

promoted the millet in their bulk foods

on the basis that it's not just for

birds. Proso millet has never been shown

to be goitrogenic. It hasn't been shown

to not be goitrogenic. And the reason

that no one has ever looked into the

goitrogenic effects of proso millet

is because there's never been any

epidemics of goiter traceable to

people who were consuming most of

their calories as proso millet. But I know

that neither you nor I are going to

consume most of our calories as proso

millet either. So the real question is, if

you're consuming proso millet as a

moderate portion of your diet does it

cause any harm? I see no reason to

believe that the answer is yes. And I see

no reason to restrict proso millet

more than you would restrict any other

seed or grain in your diet. So I called

several companies to try to find out

what type of millet was in the foods

that are labeled millet. Bob's Red Mill

told me that they use proso millet.

Arrowhead Mills told me that they use

proso millet. Udi's gluten-free told

me that the millet in their millet chia bread is

pearl millet. Wah wah Wah wah.

Here's what I would do. If you're gonna consume

millet, find out what type of millet it is.

If there's any doubt, call the company

and ask. If it's proso millet, I wouldn't

worry about it. But if it's pearl millet,

I would strictly moderate it. I don't

know exactly how much pearl millet you need

to consume before you start hurting your

thyroid gland. I'm sure you can probably

tolerate 5%, 10% of your diet. But

I wouldn't risk it because there's a lot

of foods in the world to eat, and there

really is no other food that has been so

clearly shown to harm the thyroid gland

in humans as pearl millet. So if you're

gonna consume pearl millet, I would

definitely consume it less than once per

day. The problem is there's no really

good way to know whether it's hurting

your thyroid gland. Because all of the

standard hormone-based blood markers

that we look at to assess thyroid health,

such as TSH, or T4 or T3, which are

all different hormones related to the

thyroid gland, they're not changed in

people who have millet-induced goiter.

The only thing that's changed is that

there's structural damage to the thyroid

gland, and it's so enlarged that you can

see it in the person's neck. And if

you're only causing a little bit of that

damage, the only way to see it is for

your doctor to order special tests that

image your thyroid gland. So the

bottom line is proso millet, fine;

pearl millet, no good. Now Hayley and Ale both

commented on the last video on Facebook,

that their vets told them that their pet

birds shouldn't be eating most of their

diet as millet. The millet in bird seed is

proso millet. And apparently

veterinarians are saying that if birds

overeat proso millet they get fatty

liver disease, heart disease and their

lifespan is greatly reduced. I'm not a

vet. I can't verify that and I can't

speak to that. But I can say that this

gets back to a basic principle of diet.

And that is diversification.

Diversification isn't just for your

financial portfolio. It's also for your

diet. And the reason is that there are

harmful substances mixed into every food

along with all the good things. And

although we do have to pay attention to

certain foods being much more harmful

than others, like pearl millet, we also

have to keep in mind that if we mostly

eat one food or if we only eat three or four

different types of food, the more

restrictions that we place on our diet

and the less diversity we have, the more

likely we are to, number one: have

nutrient deficiencies because we're not

eating other foods that may supply

missing nutrients, and the more likely we

are to get accumulation of toxic

substances because whatever bad thing

there is about that food we are

concentrating it and overloading

ourselves with it in our diet. So proso

millet I think is fine as part of a

diverse diet. There's probably some

quantity of pearl millet that you can

tolerate, but for me I'm not gonna

take the risk. All right, I hope you

found this useful. Signing off,

this is Chris Masterjohn of

chrismasterjohnphd.com. You've been

watching Chris Masterjohn Lite, and I will

see you in the next video.
